Demi Lovato Gets a New Tattoo Similar to Bomba's....Tweets About It

Social media queen Demi Lovato recently got a new tattoo on her hand, which BANG BANG posted on Instagram along with the caption, "@ddlovato sometimes the canvas makes the art ;) Thank you for your trust."

Fans have noticed, however, how similar it is to that of her ex-boyfriend, Guilherme Bomba's...

So Demi tweeted about it, insisting that it's all just a coincidence, even though she recently deleted all photos of herself and the MMA fighter from social media.

Harry Styles says that Gay rights+Women's rights aren't political to him+album isn't about a woman

Harry continued, “Anything that brings people together is better than something that brings them apart.”

When asked about whether the album was really about a woman like he said in Rolling Stone ('"She's a huge part of the album," says Styles. "Sometimes you want to tip the hat, and sometimes you just want to give them the whole cap ...  and hope they know it's just for them."') he backtracked, saying "The album is more about me than it is about anyone else. I put a lot of work in it, so I don’t feel like it revolves around a woman.”

The View talks about the tax plan that fit on an one double-spaced page

Today's hosts: Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Jedediah Bila and Whoopi Goldberg
Today's 🔥 topics:
The one double-spaced page tax plan has been released. Joy thinks that 45 ran for president to make more money.
Joy thinks he didn't run for the greater good or for patriotic reasons. Sunny and Sara chime in on how this could bring the deficit up. Nobody on the panel is having it with Jed liking the plan.

An executive order was signed yesterday by 45 that would review national monuments. It would review the tens of millions of acres of lands that have been designated as national monuments. The panel agree that it's a type of land grab by 45 and we should protect the land. It belongs to the people.

The panel rips apart Jesse Watters' for his comments on Ivanka. They talk about how Watters' is now "on vacation." The panel agree how nobody else is stepping out to change the image that FOX News has now acquired.

Genie Bouchard Blasts Maria Sharapova

Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova returned to competition this week after receiving a 15-month suspension from testing positive for a banned substance.

“I don’t think that’s right. She’s a cheater and so, to me, I don’t think a cheater in any sport should be allowed to play that sport again,”

“It’s so unfair to all of the players that do it the right way and are true,” noted Bouchard. “I think from the WTA it sends the wrong message to young kids: Cheat and we’ll welcome you back with open arms. I don’t think that’s right. [She’s] definitely not someone I can say I look up to anymore, because this has definitely ruined it for me a little bit.”

BBC apologises after Orlando Bloom's offensive slur on air

pikey is a derogatory term for travellers and gypsies

He was on Grimshaw's breakfast show to promote his new movie Unlocked.
They asked him if he was doing his own stunts, he replied :
"I'm still a pikey from Kent, boy. I'm still a pikey from Kent. You don't want to get on the wrong side of me, boy."

After the interview, Bloom explained :
"I've come from Kent and I grew up with a lot of, like, freewheeling, cool, interesting characters like that. I certainly wasn't taking a slant at that at all. I'm very respectful."

BBC's apology:
"As with any live broadcast, we take great care to ensure all guests are briefed about their language before going on air. We apologised to listeners afterwards for any offence caused."

Grimshaw's apology :
"Great to have him on the show, but apologies if you were offended by anything that Orlando may have said earlier on."

Director of The Handmaid's Tale, Reed Morano, calls it a feminist work

Today is the day -- if you have @Hulu please watch. If you don't, please get it. I had the honor of directing and EP'ing the pilot & also episodes 2&3 of an adaptation of the great Margaret Atwood's THE HANDMAID'S TALE. Here I am with my creative partner, the inimitable @elisabethmossofficial. Shot by right hand man on the series, the super genius of light, @colinwatkinson, who occasionally let me operate the camera because he felt sorry for me that I was having withdrawal. By the way, there seems to be some debate about whether or not the creators think this show is a feminist show and it's political. Well let me tell you what I think. That was taken out of context. There is no debate. IT IS FEMINIST. IT IS POLITICAL. It's also about men (imagine that?) and women and children and LGBT and blacks and whites- crazy concept, right? It's about how NO ONE is safe if any one single group's rights start being stripped away. It WILL eventually affect us all. The episodes are up on @Hulu now. You might want to watch simply to find out what's to come, if we all don't get off our asses and do something. •••

according to Ryan Tedder Liam Payne is coming for that pop crown

One Republic frontmen Ryan Tedder just did an interview with Newsweek, where he talked about working with Liam on some of his solo stuff and what we should expect.

Relevant parts:

INT: I’m curious, as a record producer, what you make of the different directions the various members of One Direction have gone in musically. Who could you see yourself working with out of that group?

RT: "I’ve already done a song with Liam [Payne] and I’m actually recording a second song with him next week. His stuff is spectacular. Another one of my writers, Noel Zancanella, who I did a lot of the Taylor Swift stuff with, and some of the Adele stuff that didn’t make the album, he has a huge record on the Liam album. It’s a dance record. I personally think it’s the biggest one on the album. I’ve heard about three records. I know what the first single is and there’s a lot of fame attached to the first single, I’ll say that."

INT: How would you describe Liam’s solo material?

RT: "If you took [One Direction song] “Story of My Life” and turned it into an album, that’s kind of Niall [Horan]’s direction, right? Zayn obviously went R&B and urban. Harry is classic Britpop; Mott the Hoople meets Robbie Williams—that lane. I like Louis [Tomlinson], but he’s the one I’ve talked to the least. Funnily enough of all the routes that people have taken, the one lane that was left wide open was straight pop. So Liam is pop, and doing it in a fantastic fashion. He has a killer voice. There’s elements of stuff I like from Usher, there’s stuff that’s edgy like The Weeknd…it’s all over the map—it’s pop. It’s really high quality. I’ve only done one song with him that I did with Stargate. I’m cutting another song with him next week. The other one that [Zancanella] did with J Kash, it’s my favorite record I’ve heard. If it’s not a hit I need to clear my ears out—it’s so good."

ONTD Original: Five Scenes From Harry Potter Movies That Improve Upon The Books

Between The Cursed Child and the contiuous retcons JK Rowling alerts us to on Twitter and Pottermore, on top of The Youth not caring about actual social movements until there's magic involved - maybe we're a little tired of Harry Potter.

I get it.

The movies made an impressive amount of money from fans worldwide but were never quite lauded by most book readers as 'faithful', with a variety of omissions from the books that make them downright nonsensical at times.

But they were not completely devoid of merit. With the wizarding world finally put to screen, audiences were treated to some fantastic visuals and scenes, some of which elevated the material.

The First Arrival to Hogwarts in The Sorcerer's Stone

You know the music, you know the visual, and you still get a shiver of anticipation down your spine every time. The school many children dreamed of became semi-tangible reality. You're just as amazed as the young students as you cross the lake and look upon Hogwarts.

You don't realize just how lax security is at a magic school filled with hundreds of students yet. You meet the ghost girl later, and wrangle dangerous beasts in due time. But for now, you're just happy to be here.

[Spoilers for ... the entire Harry Potter series. Like right after the cut.]

The producer of Netflix's "Death Note" responds to the Whitewashing backlash

Producer Rob Lee (the Ring, the Grudge, the Departed) :
* changes are obvious because it's an interpretation of that story in a different culture.
* First time that he is seeing negative press for one of his adaptations.
* Death Note is not set in Japan, so he doesn't understand the criticism.
* Changes were necessary to appeal to the US or to the English-language market.
* No one criticized the casting of "the Ring" in 2002.
* Saying "whitewashing" is offensive because "one of our three leads is African-American."
* Dont criticize before seeing the movie first.

ONTD Original: 5 Flop Albums From Big Name Acts

The music industry and music fans are notoriously fickle. Just because you're a popular household name doesn't necessarily guarantee that your music will always be a hit. The cyclical nature of music trends, record company demands, poor timing, shit writing, a deviation in sound, the alienation of a core fanbase, and many more factors all contribute to big names with small sales.

Below, I've laid out 5 well-known musicians who have flopped hard at some point in their music careers.

1. Britney Spears - Britney Jean (2013)

•In the UK, the album sold a paltry 12 959 copies in its first week.
•Although it fared better in the US, selling 107 000 copies, it remains Britney's worst performing album. The most recent album sales count sits at 272 000 copies sold in the US (compare that to 1.7 million for 2008's Circus, or 794 000 for 2011's Femme Fatale).
•This is the album that lead people to speculate that Britney wasn't singing on some of the tracks and that instead a backing vocalist named Myah Marie was signing in place of Britney.
•Her follow up, Glory, didn't fare much better.

Slant Magazine Review (2.5/5):
-Designed by committee, with up to six producers and nine songwriters per track, Britney Jean is stocked with a mix of harsh EDM a la “Scream & Shout” and flaccid midtempo pop.
-Lead single “Work Bitch,” on the other hand, is the aural equivalent of bath salts, a shrill and mechanical assault on the brain, while “Tik Tik Boom” is by far Britney Jean and company's most egregious lapse in judgment[...]
-And despite copious (mis)use of Auto-Tune throughout the album, apparently no one thought to employ it for its intended purpose of pitch correction.

Joss Whedon Makes a Misogynistic Joke Involving Kids with Cancer While Trolling Paul Ryan

Joss Whedon, questionable feminist, decided to troll Paul Ryan on twitter. He picked a photo of young girls and made a joke about Ryan giving them a "not a 10" card, a comment on 45's view of women.
