Full House creator Jeff Franklin buys the original house in San Francisco

Full(er) House creator Jeff Franklin purchased the original house in San Francisco for about 4 million dollars. The house was originally built in 1883 and needs some construction work done (about six months work) but Franklin is hoping to shoot some new footage for Fuller House there. The red door has also been restored but will be taken down so it isn't ruined while the construction work is going on. And Franklin will also be renting it to the public so it doesn't sit empty.

America Ferrera Writes About How a Triathlon Changed Her Life

lol @ the squatter in the background. get it fam.

- Discusses feeling some imposter syndrome when she won the Emmy for Ugly Betty back in 2007: "Who do you think you are? You don’t belong here. No one here thinks you deserve this. Hurry up and get off the stage."

- Started going to therapy afterwards to help deal with her own internal conflicts.

- Felt those same feelings of inadequacy when she decided to join her husband and friend in doing a triathlon for charity: "Don’t even think about it, America! You’re the fat kid. The procrastinator. The quitter. You have cellulite. YOU ARE NOT A TRIATHLETE!"

- Says that the self-doubt was felt during her training but kept it to herself until her coach called her out and told her he could sense something was wrong and that she needed to fix it if she wanted to move forward.

- Powering through the mental barriers helped her get over the physical ones during her training and the race: "I began to have a real conversation with my mean, scared voice...She’d only wanted to save me from humiliation and failure. She was protecting me the best way she knew how, and I learned to appreciate that, even if I no longer required her services."

- Says the reality of finishing a triathlon did not hit her until 2 days later when she cried on a fight to NY: "I finally got my answer to that question: Who do you think you are? I am whoever I say I am. And I am a triathlete."

Blind Item:Her Older Conquering Boyfriend

Friends of this young and pretty actress from a popular cable TV series are worried about her being a little too eager to impress her new boyfriend.

"She was infatuated with him when she was a girl, so dating him is rather like a fantasy for her. The problem is that his crowd all seems to do drugs. [Actress] was never that kind of person. She is not even legal to drink in most parts of the U.S. He is older and his friends party round the clock. She has already been [doing Class B drugs] with them, and we are worried that she is trying so hard to fit in that she will soon be doing Class A drugs".

Natalie Portman is NOT fan-friendly!

Natalie Portman was on her WORST behavior at an Oscar screening for her new movie "Jackie", according to a new report.

A source tells Naughty Gossip, "At a screening tonight at The Walter Reede theatre in Lincoln center, the actress was NOT interested in fan interaction. Flanked by an entourage, Natalie entered the theatre moments before the film ended and refused to sign autographs or do photos with people. In fact she didn’t even acknowledge the 3 or 4 fans waiting for her outside the lobby. She was downright rude. This follows screenings a few weeks back where she had the exact awful attitude."

Sources say Amy Adams did the same type of screenings this week and "couldn't have been sweeter!"

No Korean film or actor has ever won an Oscar

* No Korean movie has ever even been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Unfortunately, this probably won't change for 2016 because South Korea decided to submit the "sporadically entertaining (but ultimately impenetrable) espionage thriller" The Age of Shadows instead of The Handmaiden.

* The source points out that this means Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland has more Oscars than the entire country of South Korea. (AiW won an Oscar for Best Art Direction.)

idk about any of the major categories, but the handmaiden at least deserves a win or two in one of the technical categories imo. ontd, are you surprised that no korean movie has ever won?

Michelle Williams on raising daughter Matilda without Heath Ledger

“In all honesty, for pretty much everything else, I feel like I’m a believer in not fighting circumstances, accepting where you are and where you’ve been. In pretty much all senses but one. I would be able to go totally down that line of thinking were it not for Matilda not having her dad. You know, that’s just something that doesn’t … I mean, it just won’t ever be right.”

“I know a handful of women in similar positions [to me], it’s kind of like a club. It’s a s- -tty club and we don’t want any new members … and all the current members are exhausted. But man, oh man, it’s lifesaving to have [them].”

18 Uplifting Documentaries Guaranteed To Put A Smile On Your Face

Iris (2014)

About: IRIS pairs the 87-year-old Maysles with Iris Apfel, the quick-witted, flamboyantly dressed 93-year-old style maven who has had an outsized presence on the New York fashion scene for decades. More than a fashion film, the documentary is a story about creativity and how, even at Iris' advanced age, a soaring free spirit continues to inspire. IRIS portrays a singular woman whose enthusiasm for fashion, art and people are life's sustenance and reminds us that dressing, and indeed life, is nothing but an experiment. Despite the abundance of glamour in her current life, she continues to embrace the values and work ethic established during a middle-class Queens upbringing during the Great Depression. I feel lucky to be working. If you're lucky enough to do something you love, everything else follows.

The Weeknd Talks About Misogynistic Themes In His Music

In a rare interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, The Weeknd discussed many things, including drug use and songwriting, the full interview has now been released and here are some highlights below.

On drinking:
- Used to perform drunk to be able to perform on stage (nerves), but watched his performances back and hated them, "he wasn't a star", so he booked a ton of shows to teach himself how to perform sober.

His misogynistic, drug and dark related themes:
- The Weeknd is a dark character he created and he writes through him, compares it to Scarface, "It's like a villain, it's horrible but you can't stop looking at it"
- "It is who I am to myself, in my writing. Sometimes you take him and create more, and it becomes this beast."

- Is asked why he thinks women love his music despite the themes/content, he mentions 50 Shades of Grey as a reference, "It's the darkness. It's raw, it's dark."
- He created The Weeknd cause fans don't wanna meet a "normal" person when they see their fave celeb. The character The Weeknd is cooler than him in real life.

On religion:
- Used to be Atheist, "Life's shit, so there's no way there is a God and this is happening", refers to his childhood a bit, "I had no brothers or sisters. I wanted a dog but I had allergies...", but he's evolved and changed his views...his success and good things made him view his struggles as a test. Now he's spiritual.
