In an astonishing online attack, Twin Peaks cult actor Michael J. Anderson has unleashed a disturbing barrage of hate-filled vitriol on esteemed filmmaker David Lynch’s reputation. The ‘revelations’ were posted up by ‘Little Mike’ on his Facebook profile photo.
It reads: “He totally did NOT rape his own under-age daughter and then write a television series about it. She totally has NOT lived under a DEATH THREAT from her own father, all her life if she ever told. He NEVER had his “best friend” murdered. And he DEFINITELY NEVER suggested to me that I should kill myself! There’s a whole bunch of other stuff he never did either.”
Edited to include Jennifer Lynch's response-- she denies the accusations. See under cut.

-Due to poor box office sales, the studio will instead focus on animated spinoffs
As of Aug. 7, Ghostbusters had earned just under $180 million at the global box office, including $117 million domestic
-The film still hasn't opened in France, Japan and Mexico, but box-office experts say it will have trouble getting to $225 million despite a hefty net production budget of $144 million plus a big marketing spend

Yo-landi Visser (Andi Du Tuit) from South African rap-rave group, Die Antwoord, has bold accusations for Suicide Squad director, Dave Ayer!
In a rather long Instagram post, followed by a short video of promotion/still images from the movie, she accuses of Ayer openly talking about the problematic group while shooting.
Accusations include their iconic black and white graffiti, Yolandi's multiple watches on one wrist and even to front man Ninja (Watkin Tudor Jones)'s tattoos!
Cara Delevingne, who was featured in the group's Ugly Boy video and starred in the movie, had apparently told Yolandi and Ninja about the copying, as well as Jared Leto.
Ninja had gone to the premier of the movie, hopefully expecting an apology or an explanation of what had happened, but no dice.
David Ayers or any crew member of the movie has not yet said anything.

20 YEARS AGO artists like The Tony Rich Project, Donna Lewis & Deep Blue Something were topping the charts. The artists who created their 1996 smash hits were never able to replicate the success. But for us 90's babies, the music never fails to bring the nostalgia. Let's take a look at some of the best one hit wonders of 1996!

- This would be the 3rd Scarface film with the first being made in 1932 set in Chicago and the most recent one set in Miami with Al Pacino as Tony Montana
ONTD, are you ready for another remake?
- Developers are apparently trying to rebrand sections of the Bronx as the "Piano District" in efforts to gentrify the area. They've previously held art party called the "Macabre Suite" which allowed A-Listers and the rich to pretend like they're slumming it with burning trash cans as promotion and exhibits featuring burned out cars.
- Swizz Beats who attended the Macabre Suite event is a head promoter for a new event called the "No Commission Art Fair" which is supposed to bringing art and music back to the Bronx.
-However critics note that this event only features one out of 36 artists that actually has direct ties to the Bronx, and is insulting to a neighborhood that has already been a breeding ground for hip-hop and urban art. No Latino artists were included either. Critics have no problem with wanting to revitalize the area but feel that the current community is being shut out from involvement and are simply being used as an investment for outside corporations.

💅 Hair is kept back primarily so all their moves can be seen clearly.
💅 A flash of underwear can lead to a penalty, leading many gymnasts to go commando to avoid the risk.
💅 Publicly treating the resulting wedgie is "distracting" and also might cost a penalty.
💅 A fabulous manicure can also be considered distracting, so they must go subdued :(

Beauty post? Are you "sporting" patriotic nails in honor of the Olympics?
While promoting her collaboration with Bioré, Shay Mitchell appeared in an episode of Popsugar's #PrettyUnfiltered series and talked about hiding wishing she looked white when she was a teen.
"When I was younger, I really did not want to look like myself. I didn't want to have tanned skin, I wanted to have light eyes, I wanted my hair to be light. I wanted to look like my friends. All of my good friends growing up were blond-haired, you know had light skin, fair complexions, and these beautiful light eyes, and I truly just wanted to fit in with them."
On how she got confident with what she looks like: "I think as I got older--I'd love to say that it happened in high school, but it really didn't. You know when I moved away from home I kind of got to meet a lot of people outside of where I was from, and I got to travel to a lot of different places and I was exposed to different cultures where they celebrated different things and they had different beauty ideas, what beauty was to them. I really picked up on a lot of that and then I came back just like 'Why am I trying to change myself? You know, I should be so proud of who I am and what my heritage is.'"
She also talked about how she believes makeup is meant to enhance your beauty, not cover up or change who you are.

In an interview with Howard Stern this past Monday while promoting Sausage Party, Rogen admitted that as an egomaniac, her initial comments hurt him. "As we were making the movie, honestly, I was like, ‘I would make a dozen movies with her [...] I was having a really good time, and then when I heard afterward that she didn’t like it, that she seemed to not like the process, and she did not like the end product either, I think when that happens — also your trust feels somewhat betrayed.
I respect the fact that perhaps she realizes that it has hurt her career, and I don't want that to have happened to her at all because I've said a thousand stupid things and I really like her. The only people who in this situation should in any way take anything from it is me and Judd because we're the ones she was talking about. For other people to not work with her because she didn't like her experience with us is — I think is crazy."
He then went on to add that neither he nor Apatow has heard from Heigl personally. "When I apologize to people, generally I don't take a public forum to do it."
In response, at the TCAs Heigl simply said, "I think that he's handled that so beautifully, and I just feel nothing but love and respect. It's so long ago at this point. I just wish him so much goodness — and I felt that from him, too."
As a result of its ongoing legal battle with wrestler Hulk Hogan, next week Gawker Media will be sold at auction. The controversial media site has incurred nearly $140 million in legal damages after Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, sued Gawker for publishing a Bollea's private sex tape.
Several months ago Gawker filed for bankruptcy, as did its owner, Nick Denton.
Gawker Media started in 2003 as a New York-based media blog. It has since evolved into a celebrity gossip and political website, known as one of the most incisive and boundary-pushing websites on the internet. Additionally, it expanded into several other wildly popular digital properties including Jezebel, Deadspin, and Gizmodo.
The sale could be very good or very bad for the site. Many of its staffers remain optimistic that a new owner might retain the edgy humor and candor for which Gawker became popular. Other commentators, though, question whether the purchase might not install an owner who would tamp down the original spirit of the website.
What do you think of Gawker?
People magazine assembled a group of experts (Tracee Ellis Ross, Niecy Nash, Allison Janney, Samantha Bee, Kate McKinnon) to discuss Hollywood's burning question: Why aren't men funny?
"When I think of stories about men, I think of... kitchen"
"Sometimes I wonder if men will ever be able to break through the glass ceiling..."
"If god wanted men to be funny he probably wouldn't have created woman"

- Greta has been hired to rewrite the script of the 'Little Women' remake. Sarah Polley was writing it previously and the source doesn't mention why she was replaced.
- Amazing Amy is producing it (she also produced Gillian Armstrong's 1994 film adaptation of the novel).
- Gerwig next project will be the movie titled 'Lady Bird' (starring Saoirse Ronan) which she wrote and will direct.
Is this remake necessary, ONTD? TYFYA!
Needs more Chad Radwell, tbh!
Ansel Elgort Will Play Twins in Indie Drama 'Jonathan' https://t.co/FEyGZkvjT0— Variety (@Variety) August 3, 2016
- The worst of Hollywood potatos is set to play twins in a film titled 'Jonathan'.
- The movie follows Jonathan and his twin brother John. The pair has made a promise to not have girlfriends. One is super sucessful at his job while the other is a mess. The messy one falls in love with a woman. The successful one makes the messy one end the relationship and starts to date the woman in his brother's place. (ok...gif)
Would you betray your twin brother/sister to get some D or P, ONTD? TYFYA!
A little background info: Bankroll Fresh was a young Atlanta rapper who was on the cusp of blowing up before he was tragically killed earlier this year.
Apparently, he was killed by one of his friends and fellow rapper, No Plug (who claims this was an act of self defense).
Recently, VladTV did an interview with No Plug where he talked about killing Bankroll.
If you watched this (I don't blame you if you didn't), dude's hella chill for somebody who murdered his best friend.
Anyway, the uncle of Bankroll Fresh had this to say about VladTv:
