Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei recently took a break from Twitter after enduring an onslaught of racist abuse and harassment from "fans."
Her band members showed differing degrees of public support for her; Lauren posted a detailed message about the abuse, as did Ally, while Camilla posted vague tweets about fighting hate with love. Dinah has since remained silent.
JoJo, however, who is currently opening for the band on the North American leg of their 7/27 tour, called out the "demented trolls" and tweeted the following in support:
Cyber bullying goes. too. far. Disturbing and despicable. Social media should be fun and unifying, not scary and hateful.— JoJo. (@iamjojo) August 8, 2016

I support love and uplifting one another every chance we get. Life is strange and challenging. Empathy & compassion can go a long way.— JoJo. (@iamjojo) August 8, 2016
