Here's the pause - Lisa Marie has requested full custody and asked her husband receive only supervised visitation.

Lisa Marie has also stated she wants nothing from her ex, as if she needed his money. The couple has a prenup and this will be Lisa's fourth divorce, previously being married to Scientologist Danny Keough, Michael Jackson and Nicholas Cage.

Grammy Award Winner Lady Gaga to perform for Grammy Award Winner Hillary Clinton at the 2016 DNC

  • Lady Gaga will perform at the Democratic National Convention on July 28 in Philadephia

  • It will be the day Hillary Clinton will be selected as the nominee by the delegates (or maybe Bernie!! the superdelegates haven't voted yet!!)

  • Gaga has long supported the Clintons. She performed at Bill's 65th birthday at the Holywood Bowl in 2011 (a worthy BTW era performance tbh):

  • I think Gaga's the inspiration for the questionable Hillary merchandise in my icon

  • She tweeted support for Hillary before their home state of New York's primary in April, and on Mother's Day #HillaryBeOurMama

  • Posted this questionable pic to celebrate Hil's victory as the presumptive nominee:

Chris Martin Compares Rihanna's Voice to Toothpaste, Says She's This Generations Frank Sinatra

Chris Martin on badgalriri:
“She is the Frank Sinatra of our generation. She can turn anything into gold with that voice. Rihanna has this thick tone, so it’s very hard to annoy anybody. It’s like a beautifully squeezed tube of toothpaste. When you think of Rihanna’s voice you think of this whole, rich thing, solid like a tree trunk, and. Drake is pretty similar. But Rihanna’s voice is just delicious for your ear. Sinatra had the same thing; anything he sang sounded pleasing to most people.”

Celebrities Express Their Feelings for the #Istanbul Airport Explosion

On June 28th 2016, around 10pm local, three(?) suicide bombers attacked Istanbul Ataturk Airport, which happens to be the largest and most crowded airport in the country. 36 (update: 41) people were killed, and at least 140 (update: 239) of them were injured. Many celebrities, including Apple's Tim Cook, expressed their condolences over the explosion.

> ISIS is blamed, although the organisation didn't claim responsibility. (They never do for attacks in Turkey.)
> They were noticed at the entrance of the international terminal (you have to go through 2 security checks, one at the entrance and one before the passport check. they couldn't pass the first one.)
> The terrorists fired on people with AK-47s, then there were the bombs.
> One police officer jumped on one of the bombers when he noticed the bomb, and died. Another police officer wounded another bomber, and bought everyone time, and he is injured. [Update: The first one I think is not confirmed, and the second officer -- who was apparently a customs maintaining (lost in translation) officer -- died.]
> Twitter, Facebook and Youtube were blocked; cannot be accessed without VPNs. There's also a media ban on explosion videos/images.
> Istanbul Ataturk Airport is currently open and working.
> God knows how many-th explosion since October 2015.
> Government officials say there was no security breach.
> The coverage on national TV channels has been pathetic: Some idiots claim this happened because Turkey is trying to improve its relationship with both Russia, and Israel. (They made a deal with Israel, even.) According to them, terrorists attacked to the airport to stop tourists from coming. One idiot commented on national tv and said this is a part of a larger problem (true) and it was all happening because we had constitutional problems (whut). Current government is trying to change the constitution to replace the parliamentary system with presidency like US.

Tomi Lahren, host of irrelevant show TheBlaze, goes off racist deep end responding to Jesse Williams

Jesse Williams was honored with BET's humanitarian of the year award on Sunday, and he delivered a passionate speech touching on racism in America.

"This is for the real organizers all over the country. The activists, the civil rights attorneys, the struggling parents, the families, the teachers, the students, that are realizing that a system built to divide and impoverish and destroy us cannot stand if we do. There has been no war that we have not fought and died on the front lines of. There has been no job we haven’t done, there’s been no tax they haven’t levied against us, and we’ve paid all of them. But freedom is somehow always conditional here. We’ve been floating this country on credit for centuries, yo, and we’re done watching and waiting while this invention called whiteness uses and abuses us, burying black people out of sight and out of mind, while extracting our culture, our dollars, our entertainment like oil, black gold. Ghettoizing and demeaning our creations then stealing them, gentrifying our genius and then trying us on like costumes before discarding our bodies like rinds of strange fruit. The thing is, though, the thing is that just because we’re magic, doesn’t mean we’re not real."

Tomi Lahren responded to Williams' speech on a segment of TheBlaze, coming dangerously close to exploding from white rage.

A Relationship Expert Weighs in on the Hiddleswift Romance

- Taylor's relationship history suggests that she's not learning from her mistakes.
- By jumping from one relationship to the next, Taylor's unable to reflect on what went wrong with each failed relationship.
- Meeting the parents very early is typical movie script behavior and Taylor seems to want to have the perfect Hollywood romance without the foundation.
- Expert feels that Taylor wanted an intelligent well connected celebrity like Tom to fit Taylor's good girl image. It doesn't hurt that Tom is the perfect male accessory to make it as a powerful Hollywood couple.
- Added that if Hiddleswift were real instead of a daydream, Taylor would have been private to avoid judgement of the public.

Brie Larson Says She'll Use Academy Vote for Diversity

Brie Larson became a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today. After last year's controversy of #oscarssowhite, Brie tweeted that she will be using her powers for good, not evil. She intends to vote for films that reflect the diverse world we live in.

Now that Oscar hype has died down, I am finally allowing myself to stan her. She's great.

Lisa Marie Presley: The Mad Hatter Took Advantage of Her Trust and Money

Update to this post.

Lisa Marie, through her lawyer, claims Dr. Jervis Tetch was in charge of her assets during their ten year marriage and didn't do what he was supposed to do. The Daily Mail claims he took advantage of her financially and was also verbally abusive. According to Lisa Marie's lawyer, there's no chance at reconciliation, Lisa is "done."

In regards to Lisa Marie asking for sole custody of their twin daughters and monitored visitation for the Hatter, her lawyer is more vague, saying there were problems with him doing what he was supposed to do as a father and the custody request is warranted.

The couple did not discuss the divorce...mainly because Tom Petty's evil doppelganger refuses to meet with her lawyers so papers can be served.

Source, Daily Mail

The Academy finally reveals how diverse they are. Spoiler: they aren't.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the group that brings us the Oscars, has been hit with the #OscarsSoWhite criticism. The fact that the org is so reluctant to recognize the achievements of non-white and/or non-male people in the movie industry is likely due to how white and male its membership is. There have been past attempts to estimate just what those numbers are by various outsiders. Welp, estimate no more, the Academy has dropped the official numbers:

Before this year, only 25% of the Academy's members were women. It will be 27% after the new class, which is 46% women, has been inducted.

Before this year, only 8% of the Academy's members were people of color. It will be 11% after the new class, which is 41% poc, has been inducted. If the Academy was a US state, it'd be about as white as Idaho.
