America's highest-paid TV personalities 1. Howard Stern 2. Ellen DeGeneres 3. Dr. Phil McGraw More: https://t.co/3LoxIo8xYo— Forbes (@Forbes) December 5, 2015
-Howard Stern is #1 with $95 million earned between June 2014 & June 2015, $80 million of which comes from his 5-year deal with Sirius XM radio, which expires this month. It's unclear if he'll renew his contract, and some people are spectulating that he may sign with Apple Music or Netflix. Forbes estimates his stint as co-host on America's Got Talent - which ended in September - earned him $2 million.
-Ellen Denegeres comes in second with $75 million. She earned money through her talk show, Heads Up! game app and "ellentube," which allows viewers to stream clips of her show. This year she launched a clothing line, and Heads Up! was the best-selling paid app of 2015.
-Kim Kardashian made $52.5 million, $25 million more than last year, owing in part to her game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
-73 year-old Judy Sheindlin (aka Judge Judy) earned $47 million from her show, which averages 10 million viewers per day
-Matt Lauer ($25 million) & Dr Phil ($70 million) also made the list. The source will tell you why because idc.
- Apparently the existing nicknames (Gen Z, iGen, Posts, Homeland Generation, ReGen, Plurals) were not catchy enough for the hip channel fka Music Television.
- So earlier this year MTV surveyed 1,000+ teens nationwide and challenged the 13 and 14-year-olds to rename their generation.
- The Navigators, The Regenerators, The Builders, The Bridge Generation, and eventual winner The Founders were the top suggestions.

Over the weekend, a fan bit The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus during a photo-op that included Michael Rooker at the Walker Stalker Convention in New York/New Jersey.
The fan herself actually posted about the incident on her Instagram, but her account is set to private for the time being. Following the incident, the woman was removed by security, and banned from future Walker Stalker Con events.

At least one main stream publication connects the dots. NRA=TerrorEnablers. https://t.co/NRu28XpDke— Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) December 5, 2015
-He also retweeted a NYT article entitled End the Gun Epidemic in America with the caption "Don't be a Terror Enabler"
-Some followers accused him of short-sightedness and said he doesn't live in the real world (because in the US, it's controversial to think up solutions to problems, and apparently you need a "real job" to understand the issues)
-Ruffalo is a longtime advocate for liberal causes, including gun control and 100% renewable energy. He is a supporter of The Brady Campaign to End Gun Violence and founded the Water Defense, a non-profit committed to clean water.
-In 2013, he spoke out in favor of abortion access and woman's right to choose
The interview is an hour long, so let's cut to the chase, because let's be real, the only Tarantino news worth a damn is a new Kill Bill movie.
There definitely is a possibility … stop short of saying probability, but there could be! It could be. For one reason in particular. Well one, me and Uma [Thurman] would have a really good time working together again. And I wanted the character to have … I put that character – not Uma, I put Uma through a lot too – but I put that character of Beatrix Kiddo through a lot. And so I wanted her to have this much time for peace. I wanted her to have some time with her daughter and not have to be in the genre-machine. She could actually enjoy her life for a while. The whole idea was that everyone would be as old as they are.
But the other thing is I think Kill Bill is pretty much hands down probably my most visionary movie, insofar as I really went beyond the Pulp Fiction stuff to create this world that really doesn't exist. Where they actually have samurai sword holders on airplanes where the cup holder would be and that's all good and everyone accepts it. That's just how it is! Fourteen year old girls hang out in bubblegum bars and eviscerate men and get away with it. So the thing about it was that is probably my most visionary cinematic contribution. Now since then my work has taken a turn towards literary and it's gotten denser and denser … so it would be nice to go back to a visceral world that's not about the words any more.

When you google 'white privilege' you should be redirected to a list of Meghan Trainor's Grammy Nominations— Jon Spurny (@MrJonSpurny) December 7, 2015
Meghan Trainor is very problematic. She's anti-feminist, her lyrics are all about archaic gender roles and body shames other women.— julia (@thrustlinson) December 7, 2015
Seems Meghan Trainor's Grammy nom has twitter up in arms. She became a world wide trending topic this morning with most of the reactions being not so favorable to the All About the Bass singer. Do you agree that Meghan's nomination was undeserved?

The Clipping Book sends the team to a high-tech research facility, where the researchers have been turned into mindless monsters by some bizarre power source in the center's lab. When they disconnect the artifact, however, they find themselves stuck in a time loop.
watch this adorable show
- After a screening of 'The Revenant', the author says all reactions were something along the lines of "Give Leo That Oscar"
- Says the only thing could stop him is the film's violence, since a lot of people walked out during the screening because of that.
- Despite said violence, rumours of backstage drama/hell (and all of Leo's "I suffer for my art" campaigning lbr) could drag voters in.
- "If people really want to see DiCaprio win an Oscar as badly as the Internet does, no amount of violence will keep them away."
- Says he's very good in it and the narrative that he is overdue for an Oscar will also help him to finally get it.

Despite mostly positive twitter chatter following its first screening (see my previous post), Joy is getting panned by reviewers. Finally, a woman! Winona Ryder's dating history is the stuff of legend. A reporter for Sassy once asked some alternative rockers if they would go out with her, explaining, "It's my theory that boys start bands so they can get famous enough to attract Winona Ryder." Courtney Love once said, "You're no one in music until you have feuded with me or until you sleep with Winona."
In short, Winona had her share of fun.
For this one, I decided to focus on select and notable flames, trying to avoid hearsay. This one was a bit harder since Winona is so private and rarely publicly discusses her relationships. But I tried. Let's go!
As always, ALL OF THIS IS FROM ARTICLES, SOURCES AND BOOKS. ALL OF THIS INFO CAN BE FOUND ON THE INTERNET. PLEASE DO NOT SUE. THANK YOU.

"This is my sixth [Trevor Live]. I’ve been to every single Trevor Live since it started, to the point that when people ask me ‘Why is it so important that you’re here?’, it’s like I stopped even thinking about the cause, it’s more like ‘I don’t want to miss it!"
“I think one of the things it’s important to remember about Trevor is that it’s not necessarily about gay advocacy, it’s youth advocacy, and life advocacy and letting people young people know—letting all people—know that there’s somebody out there to listen to you and to talk to in times of trouble. And that really is the underlying goal of this organization.”

So Major League Baseball has begun its winter meetings in Nashville, with the Hot Stove in full gear going in. The Cincinnati Reds have more or less made it clear to the baseball world that they're willing to trade basically anyone -- they know 2016 won't be a winning year for them and are ready to unload their top talent in an effort to rebuild.
Joey Votto has a no-trade clause in his contract, so most of the Reds trade rumors have revolved around Aroldis Chapman, the superstar relief pitcher known for having thrown the fastest pitch in MLB history. Today, many news outlets reported a deal between the Reds and Dodgers for the Dodgers to acquire Chapman, but MLB Trade Rumors is reporting that the deal is being stalled by reports of a serious domestic dispute that happened in October.
-Chapman's girlfriend told police that he choked her and pushed her against a wall. A gun is also alleged to have discharged inside the home.
-No arrests were made and Chapman "vehemently" denies the allegations
-MLB's recently-instituted domestic violence protocol requires an investigation into the matter by the league. Convictions and arrests are not required in order to discipline players under this protocol.
Do you think the Dodgers care that much about this? Do you think it will hold up the trade? The NFL has faced such serious backlash in handling of domestic violence scandals and this new protocol seems aimed at avoiding such backlash.
Anyway, it's Winter Meetings time! Has your team made any moves? Would you want Chapman on your roster given the controversy? Will MLB deal with this better than the NFL did?
UPDATE from Ken Rosenthal, who basically gets most things right when it comes to rumors/news:
Source confirms report from Yahoo that Chapman trade is indeed being held up by domestic-violence allegation against Chapman.— Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) December 8, 2015
-The aforementioned Yahoo report describes how a dozen police were sent to the scene, his gun was fired 7 or 8 times, and his girlfriend hid in the bushes from him. Awful.
Read Scott Weiland's ex-wife's candid letter to deceased singer on behalf of his two children https://t.co/0Y65z8zffF— Rolling Stone (@RollingStone) December 8, 2015
Scott Weiland's second wife, and mother of his two kids, Mary Forsberg Weiland, wrote an epic open letter regarding his death. She did not hold back. She does not want us to glamorize Scott's death, and she spills some tea in the letter. The whole thing is worth a read, especially if you've ever loved an addict.
"December 3rd, 2015 is not the day Scott Weiland died. It is the official day the public will use to mourn him, and it was the last day he could be propped up in front of a microphone for the financial benefit or enjoyment of others. The outpouring of condolences and prayers offered to our children, Noah and Lucy, has been overwhelming, appreciated and even comforting. But the truth is, like so many other kids, they lost their father years ago. What they truly lost on December 3rd was hope."
In the letter:
- He was paranoid and couldn't remember his own lyrics
- He did not have a good relationship with his kids
- When he re-married, his children were 'replaced' and have never been to his new house.
- Sounds like he never really sobered up.
Adam Scott stopped by Conan and discussed how he was dissed at Taylor Swift's concert, where he had taken his kids to see her perform. Apparently, he was not famous enough to join her on stage during her regular celebrate parade she toted during every concert on her tour.
