Demi Lovato posts about Corey Carney's death!

"Been trying to figure out what to say all day... This morning I woke up to terrible news. My good friend Chris Carney has passed away. This picture is a perfect example of the love he shared with Tiff and how much fun he was to be around. I've been to many weddings but this is by far the most memorable because the way they looked into each other's eyes and the love they had for one another. There were tons of laughs and tons of tears and I'll never forget the way he looked at her. It doesn't seem real and I'm still in shock.. Still speechless. I don't know how to put into words how heartbroken I am for Tiffany and their two baby boys. You're already missed Chris.. And Tiffany I love you so much.. I'm so unbelievably sorry... There are still no words. For those who would like to help the family at this time you can help support @tiffthornton and her precious babies KJ and Bentley by donating at #RIPChrisCarney #prayfortiffany 😢"

Marvel Post

On Captain America: Civil War

"You know, I think she understands where everyone is coming from,"
"And none of it really matters to her, you know? There's a bigger problem
at hand and she's, I think, strangely, kind of the mediator. Which is not exactly
how you would imagine her to be. But I think she really does see both sides of
the coin and I think her strength is that she's not personally involved."

On the criticism aimed at Whedon's handling of Black Widow in Avengers: AoU

"You know, I'm happy that people scrutinize the Widow's storylines and care about it and
are invested. I'd much rather it be like that than have a kind of 'meh' reaction. For me
to have people say that would be, ouch, you know? Everything that I've done with the Widow,
to me makes sense. It's in line with active decisions that I've made for the character...
I had a lot of conversations with Joss about what she sees in Banner. Or why is she, at this
point in her life, able to be open in this way? We both followed that storyline with a lot
of confidence that it was the right arc for my character up until that point."

Cillian Murphy post

At the 'In the Heart of the Sea' UK Film Premiere + would love to join the MCU

The actor played The Scarecrow in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises, and his take on the unhinged Dr. Jonathan Crane definitely had a lasting impact on the Christopher Nolan helmed franchise.

Cillian revealed that he would love the opportunity to become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe:
“I love those movies. My kids love those movies and I hear there’s an amazing new Spider-Man I’ll be checking out… I’d love to be involved.”

Rami Malek on "Mr. Robot" Season 2

Elliot Alderson remains one of the most memorable television characters of 2015. For those who have not seen this amazing show, Malek plays a mentally-ill genius hacker who causes a global meltdown by the end of Season 1. Malek's portrayal of the unique protagonist makes the show's blend of character drama and cultural commentary work.

On his favorite Season 1 scenes to shoot
"In the pilot, where we had a little bit more time to work on, just walking the streets of New York and having that energy play so much of a role in the show was extraordinary. I did a whole episode of opiate withdrawal, and I was having these creepy hallucinatory dreams. That was very rigorous but quite fun as well … Popping the trunk at the end of Episode 6 was one I’ll never forget. I always liked being in the cubicle with Angela (Portia Doubleday) and Ollie (Ben Rappaport). All my scenes with Christian [Slater] seemed to be fluid and easy to do."

On what he can reveal about a darker Season 2
"Sam did tell me quite a bit the other night. I had plans to go out afterward. I canceled all my plans because I was very taken aback. learned a lot. There were things that I did not expect about Elliot. That’s all I can say ... This show speaks to so many people. It’s cross-generational. It speaks to so many socioeconomic backgrounds. It speaks to all of us. I’ve got strangers coming up to me and talking about it, and whatever they were able to take from Season 1, I think they will only become more involved with it as they learn more and the story begins to really unfold in Season 2."

OMGGG I'm so excited now. This show is a mindfuck! If you haven't watched this season, you need to!

Youtuber Jonathan Joly jokes about druging and raping his wife for more kids.

It's at 6:15

Youtube vlogger Jonathan Joly, of the SacconeJolys with 1.2 million subscribers (mostly young teens), joked in his vlog yesterday about giving his wife Anna a roofie to have more kids.

He pulls medicine out of a bag for his sick wife, "this is for Anna. I'm kind of afraid to drink it's glycerin, honey, and lemon." He mimes pouring it on her food "just pour some in there. It's actually a roofie." *creepy laugh* "We're making more kids!"

Source: Youtube

This guy has been pestering his wife for more kids for about a year (they have 2 & their youngest is just 1.5 yrs old). Anna repeatedly said she was done having kids for most of that time but he kept pressuring her and she just recently gave in so they are trying now but he's obsessed in a really creepy way and she's not enthusiastic at all.

Five Vocalists Who aren't as Great as People Say They are

An attempt at journalism ONTD Original.

[tl;dr intro]It is a truth universally acknowledge that Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey are premier vocalists of their time and the goalllsssss of every singer. And their reputations are well-earned.

Contrary to popular belief, being a good singer isn't a "raw talent" one was either born with or without. Becoming a good vocalist requires vigorous training and time -- just like any other profession. Born to gospel and opera singers, though music was in Whitney's and Maria's blood, their performances showcased consistent application of great vocal technique that can only be attributed to studying under their musical mothers and honing their skills for years to come. Possessing "raw talent" and performing with "raw emotion" are thrown around a lot to champion a trending act, but every artist has the potential to emote, move people and appeal in one way or another; it's entirely subjective from person-to-person. Whether or not a singer has a grasp on proper vocal technique, on the other hand, is objective and therefore measurable with science-based parameters. Consequently, mastering technique makes one indisputably amazing at singing. (Likewise, the reverse is true.)

Let's look at five artists whom the music industry, critics and music fans alike have anointed to be the next Whitney or Mariah/a diva/one of the greats, etc in regards to vocal talent and why they currently don't have what it takes. (FYI, because I'm have no real credibility and possess plebeian ears, I asked the enormously generous admins at KPop Vocal Analysis to help me.)

In no particular order:

Avengers Infinity War Director Says Adding The Defenders In The Film Would Be "Complicated"

One of Avengers: Infinity War director's Anthony Russo was at Brazil Comic Con giving a recent interview and was asked if we could see the street level Netflix heroes in the movie and replied saying “It’s complicated. When we start to serialize the telling of stories it’s difficult. You have to have a lot of control and focus on the course of history. The films are controlled by a group led by Kevin Feige, so they function as a unit. Other products, even if they are from Marvel, are controlled by others. Then there is the possibility of a crossover, but it’s more complicated. It is a smaller scale version of the problem that exists when remembering that Fox holds the rights to some of Marvel’s most popular characters, as does Sony and others. As storytellers, we only have control over what happens in Marvel movies, but everything is possible, Spider-Man (whose rights were held by Sony) became possible!”

Would you like to see the Netflix heroes in the movie or would you rather they stay separate?

Porn industry vet, under pathetic shield of anonymity, DEFENDS JAMES DEEN, calls victims LIARS. (TW)

A male porn industry vet has come out anonymously to defend James Deen in a piece that has now been published on the well-known porn industry website TRPWL. The website claims to know who the main is, saying he "isn't just some guy." In the piece, the man makes specific claims about Stoya and Deen's other victims by name. The author claims that Deen, like himself and "all" other male porn stars, are not rapists, just assholes, and that every one of them has ten girls with similar stories. He also states that women in porn should know what they are getting into, and that sexual harassment is porn's business model.

Bradford Cox Reminisces About That One Time Billy Corgan Threw a Hissyfit Over a Voss Water Bottle

Long story short, Bradford took a single water bottle from a pyramid of VOSS water bottles backstage. Billy Corgan's security roughed him up over it. Billy called him into his office or whatever to tell him off for taking his water bottle and threatened to sue him because Bradford took his backstage sticker and affixed it to Corgan's legs, screaming "ASSAULT." Oh, and the whole thing was videotaped too?

The 50 (5) Best Albums of 2015, according to SPIN

50. Janet Jackson Unbreakable
A funny thing happened in the eight-year break between proper Janet Jackson studio albums: Slowly but surely, the specific strain of wispy, intimate sex positivity she championed in her heyday became one of R&B’s central threads once more, as artists like Jhené Aiko and Tinashe accessed the milky grooves and late night moods of 1993’s janet. A comeback, then, was as easy as Janet being Janet, surveying the soul she tilled and getting a whiff of the flowers. Unbreakable makes light work of it, as Janet and her go-to producers, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, churn out airtight boom bap, freestyle music, light EDM, and leagues more for the singer to grace with wise musings on life, love, and loss. “Broken Hearts Heal” pulls off the impossible: a love letter to Michael that toasts the fallen legend by channeling him instead of eulogizing him. — CRAIG JENKINS

Morgan Freeman Uninjured After Plane Crash Landing

A tire on his plane blew apart on take off and the pilot had to do a crash landing at Tunica Airport in Mississippi.  No passengers were injured although the plane was heavily damaged.

Freeman stated, " "I was on my plane on the way to Texas to shoot a segment for The Story of God. Sometimes things don't go as planned and a tire blew on take-off which caused other problems. But thanks to my excellent pilot Jimmy Hobson we landed safely without a scratch. I cannot say the same about my plane."

Paris Hilton is a better businessperson than Donald Trump

-Paris Hilton "only" inherited $5 million, yet created a business empire valued around $1 billion by age 30.
-Trump inherited over $200 million, and in decades of effort hasn't even outperformed an index mutual fund.
-He is thoroughly trumped by a very successful woman dismissed by many as "vapid," "naive," "stupid" and far worse insults.
-She is much further along than far more privileged Donald Trump was at her age.
-Paris will qualify to run as president next year, when she turns 35.
