Smallville's John Schneider Dislikes Man Of Steel's Jonathan Kent

“I love Kevin, and I love what Kevin does. But I didn’t care for one scene in there, where Jonathan was advising Clark to do something that was self-serving, it was tell a lie, I can’t remember exactly what it was. I think Jonathan Kent is the best dad perhaps ever depicted on television. And I don’t mean my work, I just mean the man I was fortunate enough to play. He was a great father, and I don’t think the one in Man of Steel was a great father. He had some flaws that don’t belong in a comic book. I really had wished that had been me.”

- most likely referring to the scene in MoS where when Jonathan tells Clark that, maybe, he shouldn’t have saved a schoolbus of children and risked exposing his special abilities.

Smallville's daddy Kent is the superior daddy tbh

Rejoice Tin-hatters! Larry Stylinson & Ziam Whateverson almost #Confirmed.

- Remember that one time (at band camp) Zayn Malik said he was having a "wrestling match" with Liam Payne and accidentally kissed him? Yeah, I know you do. Apparently Liam threw Zayn under the bus saying Zayn kissed him (on purpose!). Liam is still innocent in all this. Continue with the Duck Dynasty marathons.

- Harry didn't deign to pick a winner but Louis is apparently an equal opportunity kisser, meaning he would kiss ALL his bandmates if given a chance. So rejoice Larry Stylinson fans, it seems like obviously he will only make out with Harry and if fanfiction is to be believed they have and are expecting twins this June.

Please read all the carefully and painstakingly sourced facts of life at the Inquisitr (yeah, they're too cool for the "O").
Source. (s). Paraphrased obviously.

ONTD, have you ever accidentally kissed someone on purpose? Was it, was it to further the so-called "gay agenda"?

Obama Won't Admit To Calling Kanye West At Home, But He Totally Did

Photogs caught up with Kanye West as he made his way through LAX on Friday.  The sun was shining and Kanye was positive, answering questions from the paparazzi with a huge grin on his face.  Kanye even promises to research one of the paparazzo's questions and get back to him!

After a charming dude in a 1991 baseball cap botches his one shot at making it in hip hop, Kanye, realizing it would be cruel and unnecessary to address this man's failed attempt at freestyling, says, "I love Obama. He called our house before. He knows that. Don't try to pit us against each other. I love Obama."

When President Barack Obama was on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday, he wouldn't admit to calling Kanye at home though. "I don't think I have his home number," Obama said, never revealing which phone numbers of Kanye's he does have (real sneaky, Obama!), "I do love his music, though. He's terrific."

As for the comment Rush Limbaugh made about the racist SAE chant being a hit if it were a Kanye song, Kanye will let us know what he thinks after he looks into it.  Good service!

poor rob :( kris probably played this video to him all weekend while yelling, "this is the son that i want! be like this!"

Lifetime's 'Wuthering High School'

* AV Club is surprised, as am I, that's it's taken this long for a show to adapt Wuthering Heights in a high school setting
* Apparently this Lifetime effort doesn't capture the soul of the book and is pretty mild
* Although the ending was supposedly great

Did anybody watch it? Wuthering Heights is my favourite Classic book.

The Jinx finale, aka the anti-mic drop

  • In the final minutes of the last episode of the HBO documentary, Durst drops a bombshell

  • He's now in custody in connection to Susan Berman's death, due to new evidence involving a letter from Durst that matches the handwriting on a letter believed to be from her killer

  • James McCormack, the brother of Kathleen Durst, said, “Closure is near at hand; I feel in my heart.”

  • “These two producers did what law enforcement in three states could not do in 30 years,” said Jeanine F. Pirro, the former Westchester County district attorney

  • “We are relieved and also grateful to everyone who assisted in the arrest of Robert Durst,” Douglas Durst said in a statement on Sunday. “We hope he will finally be held accountable for all he has done.”

Friday the 13th series about ~the real Crystal Lake~ might be coming to the CW

So there was a horror convention in New Jersey over the weekend that Friday the 13th creator Sean S. Cunningham was at. According to horror site Dread Central Cunningham revealed that the Golden Globe winning CW network is currently interested in developing a series about Friday the 13th.

The series will be much different from the original Friday the 13th: The Series. The CW version will focus on the "real" town of Crystal Lake that the movies are supposed to be based on and the whole thing is supposed to be very meta and will supposedly feature both hockey mask wearing Jason and a more "reality based" backwoods killer.

No word yet if Jason will now somehow become a woobie but it's the CW so the answer is probably yes.

Hilary Duff Is Having Her Kim K #NoFilter Moment

Hilary Duff posted a sexy bikini selfie to her Instagram page on Sunday.  The Duffster didn't do this to show off though, she did it to encourage other mothers to love their bodies (and because she's tired of only being in walking posts on ontd).

"Hey #moms #westillgotit ❤️ #loveyourbod," Duff captioned the photo.

Her Instagram followers have responded positively, though most of the comments I'm seeing are from perverts, not mothers. A positive response is a positive response.

feel free to share your bikini selfies in the comments, ontd mothers. mine are, uh, saved on a different laptop so i'll get back to y'all.

100% Not Gay, Str8 Heterosexual Ansel Elgort for Seventeen Magazine

  • On whether a guy can be just platonic friends with a girl:
“If a woman is really pretty, it’s kind of hard. I’m not going to lie. Actually, that’s not true. Me and Shailene [Woodley] have a really platonic relationship. I’ve never once wanted her sexually, which is nice. But for me, if a person is someone I’m attracted to, and she’s my best friend, hopefully we’re dating.”

  • On spoiling the women in his life:
“I like to buy girls shoes and jewelry. I buy stupidly expensive shoes. I got Louboutins for my mom and my girlfriend before. My mom was like, ‘I can’t wear these; they’re too high.’ I was like, ‘Mom, you have to try them – they’re so cool. They’re red snakeskin!’ She still wears them every so often but she can’t walk in them.”

Madonna Calls her Japanese Dancers "Ninjas"

Pop singer Madonna took to Instagram to talk about the dancing duo she hired to promote her new album #RebelHeart.

Accenting the fact that they are japanese dancers, Madonna captioned the post by calling them her own "ninjas".

"Love my ninja matadors! #rebelhearts", she said.

Madonna previously blamed the same dancers for her fall during the Brit Awards performance.

"It was a nightmare... So, here I am marching in like a queen, I got to the top of the stairs and" Madonna said of the incident "My two lovely Japanese dancers they basically strangled me off the stage!"

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama celebrate that she's been 3 years sober

I wish I could put into words how grateful I am for this man right here. But my love has grown to a level that words could never possibly express how much this man completes me. He's loved me the way I never thought I deserved to be loved and with this day marking my 3rd year sober... After sharing my ups, putting up with my downs and supporting my recovery... he still never takes credit and I want the world to know how incredible his soul is. I really wouldn't be alive today without him. I love you Wilmer ❤️

Today, we lay another stone together..
It is now 3 years since you said:
I am more important then any past, demon, disorder or addiction.. Where you decided that YOUR life was worth living while loving yourself.. And I'm sure glad you did... I knew then the woman you've become now.. I am proud and honor to be front row to see the world you are about to change.
I love you Demi.

Hilary Duff hints losing virginity at 16 to 26-year-old boyfriend

When asked by Cosmopolitan when the 'Lizzie McGuire' star lost her virginity, she responded:

“I had a 26-year-old boyfriend,” Duff said of Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, whom she dated from ages 16 to 19. “So everyone can make their own assumptions about what I was doing.”

The actress also talked about having had a secret "f--k buddy":

“I’ve enjoyed myself, I think everyone should have something where you know it’s not exactly what you’re looking for but you just have a wicked good time. That was freeing for me and a bit of an awakening. It’s fun to have a secret.”

Rihanna finally talks about R8: "I wanted to focus on things that felt real, soulful, forever"

Rihanna has finally opened up about her upcoming album(which still has no official title) after a couple years of speculation(This is the longest we've had to wait for a Rihanna album). She says she wants to create timeless music that feels real to her. She basically mentions that she has a lot of hits(she has the most #1s this decade) but they don't feel like HER when she performs them; she doesn't want her songs to burnout.

Wow..........Regardless of how you feel about her new music(which, let's be real, we haven't really heard much of it).....You gotta respect her for openly admitting that about her discography, which IMO is amazing. I'm so excited for R8! I'm glad she is doing what SHE wants.

Olaf the Snowman Cast as Le Fou

Josh Gad has been cast to play Le Fou in Disney's upcoming live action musical adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. Le Fou is Gaston's (Luke Evans in this version) bumbling sidekick who lifts Gaston's spirits with a song about how great Gaston and basically motivates him back into going out to kill the beast.

Gad is no stranger to singing as one of his most notable Broadway roles was in The Book of Mormon. This also isn't his first time with Disney as he provided the voice of Olaf the Snowman in Frozen.

Casting directors reveal "secrets" about the casting process

Casting directors talk about the casting process at an SXSW panel; reps from Fox, Paramount, Weber Casting and Disney were there

-They answered questions about who an independent filmmaker would be able to get on a 650k to 1 m budget. Paramount rep said Marisa Tomei. He would pay her 150k on a 1m budget and give her 1-2% of the profits, plus have a bonus system in place (e.g. pay more if the film won an award or made a certain amount of $$ at the B.O.)
- Disney rep said that few actors are actually versatile--most of the time they're just playing versions of themselves, or "operate on the same base energy sphere" (said, for example, that Kevin Spacey is not warm and would likely not be cast in a role where he had a friendly persona)
-He added that there are a lot of factors that matter before acting talent becomes "the deciding factor." Acting talent is about 7% of the reason someone is cast...other factors include age, ethnicity, and B.O value in China
-Said they keep audition tapes on file and call actors back if they think they are suitable for other roles
-Casting directors look on YouTube and Vine for "stars." A couple have been signed, they say
-Panelists said they are genuinely trying to be more progressive/diverse
-Disney rep said that female characters in Disney films are more powerful than in the past. Added that if an actor has a bad reputation, they are unlikely to be cast.

Just like Jesus, Tim Tebow's NFL playing career may be ressurected.

Tim Tebow, who inexplicably won quite a few games for the Broncos and then sucked with the Jets and retired from the NFL in 2012, has been brought into Philadelphia for a workout! Will it be Always Sunny for Tebow? According to his quarterback coach, he's been fixing his ball spinning problems.

At press time, it is speculated that Tebow won't have a Christ-like rebirth in the NFL.

'A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story' premieres at SXSW

You might have heard of Lizzie Velasquez before. The 26 year old Austin native is a motivational speaker, successful author (she has been posted about on ONTD before) and gave a powerful TED talk in 2013. She also has a medical condition that causes her to have zero percent body fat and an inability to gain weight. Lizzie's condition is so rare in fact that they only know of two other people to have had it. Doctors predicted that Lizzie wouldn't survive infancy but she proved them wrong. She is also the subject of one of SXSW's most anticipated films that has premiered to positive reviews.

New MacGyver will probably be a woman

There's just one requirement: The new MacGyver has to be a woman.  The producers have also expressed excitement in the character being from any racial background.

Sherlock Christmas Special To Be Set In Victorian Times

  • Seven Moffat confirms that the special will be set in Victorian times.

  • It will be a true one-off, not part of the series’ ongoing modern-day story.

  • “The special is its own thing. We wouldn’t have done the story we’re doing, and the way we’re doing it, if we didn’t have this special. It’s not part of the run of three episodes. So we had this to do it—as we could hardly conceal—it’s Victorian. [Co-creator Mark Gatiss] and me, we wanted to do this, but it had to be a special, it had to be separate entity on its own. It’s kind of in its own little bubble.”

  • An air date has yet to be confirmed.
