The thing we don't do historically and culturally is stick together but we are stopping that now if we stick together we don't need any middle men from others cultures... We know we can do it on our own...but we are so powerful together...pause and we have our own money..we already made history in music so we can do that for fun so we're gonna do movies... This is like when Spielberg and Geffen got together and did dreamworks...it's time...me and kanye making movies and my brother Qtip was there to bless the deal

Giorgio Moroder talking about his yet untitled collaboration with Britney, and shading Siri Jean in the process!
“I listened a lot to her latest songs, which were all a little… the voice was a little mechanical — so many effects,” he says. “While on this one, she’s basically without… a little delay, but no effects, no nothing. So it sounds really natural.”
Moroder also revealed that Brit is indeed covering a "quirky, late 80s novelty hit" which she herself suggested to him.

Have you ever orchestrated a hit on someone for no reason ONTD?
After partying in Aspen, CO on December 28th, Armstrong got behind the wheel of his SUV and during the drive home, hit two parked cars. His gf Anna Hansen took the blame to avoid a media shitstorm. They parked around the corner after the deed and she ran up in heels to the door of the house the cars were parked in front of. Anna told the guy who answered that she was Lance Armstrong’s wife and SHE accidentally hit his two parked cars after losing control of her SUV, blaming it on icy roads. Anna said they’d pay for the damages. The guy called the police to report, but Anna and Lance were gone by the time they arrived.
Aspen police cited Armstrong with failing to report an accident and speeding on January 12 after the December 28 accident, but only after his girlfriend, Anna Hansen, admitted to lying for him. Her reasoning: "I thought, gosh, Anna Hansen hit some cars, it's not going to show up in the papers, but Lance Armstrong hit some cars, it's going to be a national story." Hansen has not been charged with anything.
ONTD, is Anna Hansen the white Cookie Lyon we need and/or deserve?
SMH is the source, summary by me.
*The news was especially devastating to her father, Bobby Brown. "Bobby has been crying nonstop since yesterday," says the source. "We are grieving."
* The family is still clinging to some hope. "It's sinking in that this is it," says the second family member, "but we're all still praying that God will intervene and heal her body."
EDIT Bobby Brown's statement: Bobby Brown's lawyer released this statement on Thursday: "If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that's all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place."
Mods, made a correction and included the source.
- Bobbi Kristina went on a downward spiral the day Whitney passed.
- Doctors can't do anything more for BK but the family's still hoping for a miracle.
- If by some miracle she did pull through, she would no longer be able to function like a normal adult would and would require round the clock care.
- BK grew to resent her dad due to Whitney feeding her too much information about her relationship with Bobby. BK played more of a motherly role than a daughter role.
- BK's relationship with Nick Gordon has eerie similarities to Whitney's relationship with Bobby. BK considers her and Nick like Bonnie and Clyde.
Apparently, OG Maco doesn’t find it G that Korean rapper Keith Ape is blowing up fast off his cult hit “It G Ma,” a song that clearly features ad-libs similar to the signature ones used by Maco in his street banger “U Guessed It.” We’ve all heard Maco’s cut but if you haven’t heard ‘that Korean trap song,’ as many of my friends refer to it, you need to get up on your internet rap game.
Check what OG Maco had to say about the song:

NBC Renewed Law & Order:SVU (will it make it to 20 seasons and then be cancelled like the mothership? Personally I think they should've cancelled it at Season 10 if not sooner)

Chris Pratt and Chris Evans' bet on whose team would win the Super Bowl -- which adorably ended with both of them agreeing to visit children's hospitals dressed as Star-Lord and Captain America -- didn't just stop there. Christopher's Haven (Chris Evans' charity) reported that they received an unexpected boost in donations to the tune of $11,000 just from fans looking to pitch in, while Seattle’s Children’s Hospital (Chris Pratt's charity) got $15,000.

MTV announced the premiere date for the new season of Teen Mom -- now known as "Teen Mom OG".
The series will return March 23rd at 10pm on MTV and Farrah will indeed be part of the cast. This time around, the cast members will be "breaking the fourth wall" by interacting with producers, similar to what was shown during the "Being" specials that aired on MTV last year.

Huis Ten Bosch is a Dutch-themed amusement park in Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan. The Henna-na Hotel within the simulated Netherlands will open July 17th, and will be partially staffed by 'Actroids', animatronics produced by Kokoro, Sanrio's animatronics division (this is a thing they have, apparently). The Actroids were developed by Osaka University beginning in 2003, and they will perform tasks for hotel guests like providing front desk assistance and serving coffee. They can supposedly engage in intelligent conversations with human guests.
Hideo Sawada, the co-president of the park, says he wants 90% of the hotel staff in the future to be robots. Because they run on only power and don't have to be paid, robotic staff actually reduce costs. The hotel will have 72 rooms and cost about $120 a night. Oh, and keys/keycards will not be available, since you open your room via facial recognition.
Prepare to be touched by the holy ghost! Beyonce is going to take the Grammys to church on Sunday night (February 1) when she introduces Common and John Legend‘s performance of Selma anthem “Glory” with a gospel standard. The game-changing diva will perform “Take My Hand, Precious Lord,” which Ledisi sang on the film’s official soundtrack album. The song was known to be one of Martin Luther King Jr.‘s favorites.
“We’re getting an introduction from the great Beyonce,” Common revealed to Rolling Stone. “That’s a whole other level, to have her singing ‘Precious Lord.’ I’m excited.” The Chicago rapper knows that the stakes are high, adding: “It’s the Grammys stage, so we’re going to deliver some of the best performances we ever had. Expect the spirit of what the movie is about, the spirit of what the movement is about, and the spirit of what ‘Glory’ is about.”
Common alsp spoke about the importance of performing a protest anthem like “Glory,” which recently won best song at the Golden Globes, at the Grammys. “This is what I want to do as an artist. This is who I want to be as a person — to be able to speak up and say things that can impact people’s lives, and things that can be inspiring to human beings,” he said. “There’s no other song besides ‘Glory’ that I’d want to be my first opportunity to perform at the Grammys.”

"Dancing is forbidden. So if you're going to do it, you do it somewhere safe." Despite what Footloose may have you believe, it's pretty ridiculous to live in a place in the United States where dancing is forbidden. Of course, you may not realize this, but around the world, not everyone has that same kind of freedom. Desert Dancer sets out to tell the true story of a young man who's a gifted dancer, but finds his skills stifled by the oppressive government of his homeland in Iran.

- Show synopsis: "The Get Down will focus on 1970s New York City – broken down and beaten up, violent, cash strapped — dying. Consigned to rubble, a rag-tag crew of South Bronx teenagers are nothings and nobodies with no one to shelter them – except each other, armed only with verbal games, improvised dance steps, some magic markers and spray cans. From Bronx tenements, to the SoHo art scene; from CBGBs to Studio 54 and even the glass towers of the just-built World Trade Center, The Get Down is a mythic saga of how New York at the brink of bankruptcy gave birth to hip-hop, punk and disco — told through the lives and music of the South Bronx kids who changed the city, and the world…forever."
- Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby) and Shawn Ryan (The Shield, Terriers) will executive produce.
- The show has been given a 13-episode series order.
- Baz has been working on the project for ten years and will also direct.
- The Get Down will arrive in all territories on Netflix in 2016.
