White man publishes book, and USA Today believes this is news.

The gist: Entertainment lawyer Kevin Morris published a book, idk what the title is and idc. (eta: Wait, scratch that. I actually looked at the pic. The book is called White Man's Problems. You're welcome.) Considering that white men are so marginalized in society, Michael Wolff with USA Today was so amazed at Morris' accomplishment that he wrote a column titled "White Men Have Stories to Tell, Too." As fiction is "now largely a form dominated by women readers and hence women's stories" and where "the middle-aged, culturally undistinguished, American male [is] now the most overlooked" culture, Kevin Morris' voice is certainly a welcome one in the annals of literary canon!

Controversial religious satire PK becomes Bollywood's most successful film ever

Activists prepare to burn a PK poster for allegedly offending Shiv Sena religious sentiments.

  • PK is a about an alien who tries to make sense of the absurdities of Earth's organised religions while looking for a way back to his own planet

  • The film has been accused by various religious groups of offending religious sentiment. About the controversy, The Guardian writes: "Not only does it delve headfirst into the syncretic melee of different faiths in that country, it takes direct aim at “godmen”, the guru figures who proliferate there. Despite protests by some Hindu groups, the film isn’t that provocative, though; more of a playful shove in the direction of greater tolerance and a more questioning attitude to institutionalised religion."

  • The Guardian reports that PK breached the US$ 90 million mark worldwide this week and in doing so becomes the highest grossing Bollywood film ever. It means it crossed, according to koimoi, for the first time EVER, the 600 crore rupees mark.

  • PK is also the most successful film ever in India, currently collecting US$ 48 million, passing Dhoom 3's US$ 41 million. That is 314 crore according to Bollywood Hungama, the FIRST film to break into the 300-crore club domestically.

Rosamund Pike Wears Couture While I Rock Hand-Me-Downs

Rosamund Pike covers Vanity Fair's February 2015 issue. Inside, she wears the season's chicest couture creations.

This must have been shot very early into her pregnancy. Although the silver Dior and the white long-sleeved Chanel are basically maternity couture. I refuse to think they shot this after she gave birth because it's barely been a month. The bright Giambattista Valli skirt-and-top is the only look that threw me off because it looks very tight. Either way, she looks fantastic. That face of hers is so mesmerizing. She doesn't always look great in candids, but her face in this behind-the-scenes moving editorial is timeless and spectactular.

Jessica Chastain Responds to Russell Crowe's Comments About Ageism in Hollywood

"I think Russell keeps getting his foot stuck in his mouth," she said with a laugh. "There are some incredible actresses in their 50s and 60s that are not getting opportunities in films, and for someone to say there are plenty of roles for women that age ... Queen of R&B Jazmine Sullivan premieres third album "Reality Show"

"Reality Show for me is a perfect time capsule of modern society and even shows how I've been affected by this culture," Sullivan tells Complex. "From my language, to the choice of beats, for the most part it's very 'now.' I'll probably look back on it and say ‘WTF was I thinking?’ Hopefully we all do. Hopefully from here, we'll grow into greater human beings and years later can look back at Reality Show as the soundtrack to the way we were."

Benedict Cumberbatch: "My fiancée – She’s a helpful tool"

" I’ve got things that are more important for me going on now in my life. I’m sitting next to one of them right now, my fiancée [Sophie Hunter] – she’s a helpful tool [laughs]. I said that to make her laugh. She’s a helpful asset! She’s a lot more than that. But it’s brilliant to have something that I think is more important than myself in my life to focus away from myself, you know what I mean? That brings me into a good space."

Hayley Atwell Teases "Exciting" 'Agent Carter' Twists and Future Marvel Movie Roles

"It's really clever the way the writers stayed on top of everything," Atwell says of the twists yet to come. "Just when the audience goes, 'Alright, I know what the show is,' it goes into a different direction."

"Because it's the Marvel Universe, it can go anywhere. We can time jump and we can do things more conventional genres can't," Atwell says. "If audiences keep liking Peggy, hopefully she will pop up in different worlds. I would certainly jump at the chance because I love playing her."

NBC's Constantine casting plus bisexuality confirmed

Mark Margolis is going to play DC villain Felix Faust in episode 10, "Quid Pro Quo". The press release for the episode:

CHAS FACES A PARENT'S WORST NIGHTMARE -- MARK MARGOLIS GUEST STARS AS 'FELIX FAUST' -- Thousands of people across Brooklyn have slipped into a mysterious coma, including Chas' (Charles Halford) daughter. John (Matt Ryan) must find and defeat the evil behind it before it consumes the city. Angélica Celaya also stars.

People say it sounds a lot like one of the graphic novels " All His Engines", so it's cool they're adapting another of the comic book stories, since episode 4 was really great. Also, this is the episode where we learn why Chas can't die and what's the deal with that.

In other news, this happened on Daniel Cerone's Twitter (he's Constantine's showrunner, FYI):

The Tweet

We've been getting hints and Easter Eggs about Constantine's bisexuality so far, but it looks like we're going to get actual confirmation on the show. I'm a cynic, I'll believe it when I see it, but Goyer has been changing his tune lately about canon bisexual!Constantine and the writers kept pointing out on Twitter all the hints they've been dropping, so I want to hope.

Prayer circle for season 2 of Constantine and the chance for Zatanna to show up, for Fate's helmet to rear its ugly head and for John to make out with hot dudes. The show comes back January 16 at 8pm.

OK, so it's in one of the extra 3 scripts they wrote but didn't film (should have said so from the start), which means we need a S2 for confirmed bisexual Constantine. That's one way to get fans to rally in order to get a S2, should have been already this season, to be honest, we have no idea if we'll even get a S2 (prayer circle.gif).
