• What do you see when you look out at the audience?
  
  I don’t really look out that much, just because I get anxious and I want the least amount of things that make me self-conscious. At a good show, people are usually just very sweet. They just smile and are supportive. And I like seeing gamers in dresses…it’s just very sweet to me. You see a lot of couples. This tour’s a lot different, though. People know what to do. They know when the song’s over and to clap and stuff. Before, when I was playing a string of really quiet songs, people would be like, “Should we clap?”



• What do you think about masc/femme among gay men?
  
  I think it’s ridiculous. Usually, like, anyone that would adopt, like, “masc,” period, to describe them—it’s a very phony, stereotypical masculinity. It’s essentially just them except with, like, a backwards hat, right? And compression socks or something?



• When you have to explain what your music is like to an elderly relative, for instance, what do you say?
  
  I’m not very good at it; I usually say sad. Sad, like, singer/songwriter—I feel like they’ll know what that is. Weird. I say weird a lot.

The 10,000 square foot home sits on 298 acres and features four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gym, recreation room and library. There is also a 1,600sq ft 3 bedroom/2 bathroom guest house. As if Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t talented enough, in the latest instalment of The Hunger Games – Mockingjay Part 1 –the Oscar-winning actress stuns with a bluesy rendition of a song entitled The Hanging Tree from Suzanne Collins’ book. But as poignant as the scene is for Katniss and the film as a whole,[semi spoiler]with scenes of war in the districts interwoven, it turns out the actress was pretty worried about it, even crying on the day of filming.

“She’d probably tell you it was her least favourite day,” director Francis Lawrence tells RadioTimes.com. “She was horrified to sing, she cried a little bit in the morning before she had to sing.

“But she did it and she did it all day – and she hated me for making her do it all day – but she did and it’s great. She’ll probably never really understand it because she’s so sensitive about the singing,” he adds with a smile.

“The Lumineers sent the melody over and then we had a vocal coach, who sort of shifted the key for Jen’s voice. Then she started working with Jen once or twice – Jen didn’t really want to do too much of the training [he laughs] –but she recorded it for me as a test so I could hear it. I was worried, I really thought we were going to have to do a bunch of pitch shifting, but she sounded great. What you hear in the movie is what she did on the day in the quarry.”

Anyway the sequel is called Beyond Skyline and we're excited about it because of the new cast. The first is Frank Grillo of Captain America: The Winter Solider and The Purge: Anarchy. The others are Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian, two of the stars of The Raid and The Raid 2. YAS! The first Skyline had potential and a big WTF! ending but overall the film was a huge disappointment. These actors give Beyond Skyline even more potential. Bless!



Skyline was that 2010 movie about what an alien invasion looked like from inside a Los Angeles sky rise, think blue lights! does it ring a bell? no? I'm not surprise after all the movie got interesting in the last 15 minutes. It's one of those films that you start watching, but it sucks, then you wont stop watching because you want to see where all the suck feast goes and the it gives you an ending that makes you almost forgive the entire film.

But fortunately we still have Jeff, The Worst, Boobs, Ay-bed, Dean "Barack Obama is SCAAAARED of me!!" Pelton and, yes, Chang.
