Breaking: Tori Spelling in Quarantine at Cedars-Sinai Hospital

Tori Spelling has been rushed to the hospital amid fears she may have contracted the highly contagious Enterovirus, MailOnline can reveal.

As MailOnline reported earlier, the 41-year-old True Tori star has been neglecting her health, refusing to take time off to have two much-needed surgeries.

Now, according to a source, she's become so rundown that she had to be rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center suffering from respiratory problems, and a horrible cough. Doctors feared it might even be a case of Enterovirus D68.

'Tori was not only admitted to the hospital, she was put under quarantine and neither Dean nor the children are allowed anywhere near her for fear she may have contracted the contagious non-polio Enterovirus,' says a source.

ANDREA FTW: ‘Walking Dead’ Actress Goes Undercover And Saves 55 Sex Slaves In Real Life

Laurie Holden, who played Andrea in The Walking Dead, doesn't just pretend to be a badass. She's the real deal in her role as a volunteer for Operation Underground Railroad, a human rights organization that targets sex traffickers. Recently she was part of a raid in Colombia involving 55 sex slaves.

This week's episode of Nightline follows the sting and shows Holden in all her real-life glory. The organization worked with Colombian authorities to stage a bachelor party with underage sex workers. When the traffickers agree on camera to to pimp out the underage girls and the money is exchanged, the cops move in to make the arrests.

During the ordeal Holden works with social workers to comfort the girls, who fear they're the ones who will be in trouble and that they won't be paid. Holden is clearly heartbroken when interviewed after the fact. But she should also be extremely proud of her work.

We have to tip Rick Grimes' sheriff hat.

Scream Queens: Fox orders Ryan Murphy comedy-horror anthology straight to series

FOX has ordered SCREAM QUEENS, a new genre-bending comedy-horror anthology series. The series, produced by 20th Century Fox Television, is from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto, the executive producers of Glee and American Horror Story.

The first installment in the new anthology series revolves around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders. New settings and storylines will be featured in subsequent seasons of the anthology series.

“I knew I wanted to work with Brad and Ian again on something comedic, and we are having a blast writing SCREAM QUEENS,” commented Murphy. “We hope to create a whole new genre – comedy-horror – and the idea is for every season to revolve around two female leads. We’ve already begun a nationwide search for those women, as well as 10 other supporting roles."

FOX has ordered 15 one-hour episodes, which are scheduled to begin production in the spring and premiere in Fall 2015 on FOX.

President Obama Evolves on Gay Marriage, Again

When President Obama finished “evolving” and announced, in May 2012, that he thought “same-sex couples should be able to get married,” he went farther than any previous president though not quite so far as many activists would have liked. In his interview with Robin Roberts, he said he thought the issue would, and should be, “worked out at the local level,” thus implicitly denying that marriage was a constitutionally protected right.

It would appear he has evolved again. In the Oct. 27 issue of The New Yorker, Jeffrey Toobin reveals that the president has dropped his federalist stance.

“Ultimately, I think the Equal Protection Clause does guarantee same-sex marriage in all fifty states,” the president told Mr. Toobin.

Oscar Pistorius given five years for Reeva Steenkamp death

South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been given five years in jail for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

Judge Thokozile Masipa also gave Pistorius a three-year suspended sentence for a firearms charge.

The parents of Reeva Steenkamp told the BBC they were happy with the sentence and relieved the case was over. The defence said it expected Pistorius to serve about 10 months in prison.

Pistorius was convicted of culpable homicide but cleared of murder.

Prosecutors had called for a minimum 10-year term, and the defence had argued for community service and house arrest.

I'd settle for 10 years, but at least he's getting jail time? oop I skipped the 10 months part, that's insane. For murdering a person!

Matthew McConaughey doesn't want the Washington Redskins to change their name

Matthew McConaughey covers GQ magazine’s November 2014 issue.

Here’s what the 44-year-old Interstellar actor had to share with the mag:

On the Washington Redskins name (and gun control?): “Man, it's twofold. What interests me is how quickly it got pushed into the social consciousness. We were all fine with it since the 1930s, and all of a sudden we go, "No, gotta change it"? It seems like when the first levee breaks, everybody gets on board. I know a lot of Native Americans don't have a problem with it, but they're not going to say, "No, we really want the name." That's not how they're going to use their pulpit. It's like my feeling about gun control: "I get it. You have the right to have guns. But look, let's forget that right. Let's forget the pleasure you get safely on your range, because it's in the wrong hands in other places . . . It's just... I love the emblem. I dig it. It gives me a little fire and some oomph. But now that it's in the court of public opinion, it's going to change. I wish it wouldn't, but it will.”

On marrying his longtime love Camilla Alves: “I had to get to the point where I saw it as more than just the thing to do. I wanted to really want to. You know, I didn’t want it to be a destination; the fun is that we’re on the adventure together. And look, some of it had to do with her putting it on me. It took her going, ‘C’mon, Big Boy, Mr. Easygoing-We’ll- Get-to-It-When-We-Get-to-It. Either sh*t or get off the pot.’”

On whether he’s still friends with Lance Armstrong: “I like people who are great at what they do. At that time, we were two single men who were doing good in their careers and came from different places. To put my own emotions in front of this and go ‘You didn’t tell me the truth’ would be arrogant. And you know what? This is a friend. Who I know to be a good man. If there was an apology, it was said and I heard it.”

Renee Zellweger looks utterly unrecognisable as she steps out with boyfriend in LA

She's well known for transforming her appearance for movie roles.

But off-screen Renee Zellweger, 45, displayed an astonishingly different look at ELLE's 21st annual Women In Hollywood Awards at the Four Seasons Hotel in California on Monday.

The Jerry Maguire actress looked almost unrecognisable with her super line-free forehead, altered brow and suspiciously puffy face, although she has never admitted to getting surgery.

Shailene Woodley thinks her boobs are "great." As she should.

At an NYC screening of WHITE BIRD IN A BLIZZARD, Shailene Woodley was asked if she felt awkward filming sex scenes, with one scene involving the much older Thomas Jane.

"[It's] crazy. And sort of wrong. But I felt great doing it. I was not fully robed. And our bodies had no makeup. Who needs makeup? I'm only 22. My boobs are great. They don't need any help. My parents saw the film. I thought it might be awkward, but they both loved it."

And as expected, she continued to champion the sisterhood:

"Women should be there for other women. It's such cruelty and competition out there. Women must help other women. Not say those ugly things about the others just out of their insecurity. I don't believe in that."

WHITE BIRD IN A BLIZZARD hits theatres Oct. 24.

Justin Timberlake And Jessica Biel Settle Lawsuit Against Heat For False Claims

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel settled a defamation suit they filed against Heat after the magazine and its parent company Bauer Publishing issued an apology to the couple in a courtroom in Ireland on Tuesday.

The lawsuit stemmed from a story in the September 6-12 issue of Heat that falsely claimed Timberlake and Biel’s marriage was in trouble, and that he had been “flirting” with another woman in a Paris club following a performance there. Under the headline, “Justin Timberlake gets flirty with another woman, It is not his wife!” the magazine further teased, “The flirty photos that rocked Justin and Jessica’s marriage.” Additionally, Heat purported to have had quotes from Biel herself.

None of that was true, and as Gossip Cop had reported at the time, the photos were nothing more than Timberlake hanging out after one of his shows, in plain sight, with a large group that included one of his touring singers.

In court, Bauer acknowledged, “The article was based on an unfounded report regarding Justin Timberlake’s alleged behavior at a club following a performance in Paris, to celebrate a birthday and also included a number of purported statements improperly attributed to Jessica Biel, which now understands had never been made by her.”

King Pippin's dulcet tones will probably make you cry in the last Hobbit movie & Lego Hobbit Short

With fitting circularity, the Hobbit saga will end pretty much as The Lord Of The Rings did 12 years earlier with Billy Boyd - Pippin, no less - singing out The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies with a closing credits song.

In collaboration with Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh, the actor, singer and once-Hobbit has co-written an original song, 'The Last Goodbye', which he'll perform over the end credits, presumably using a battered orc as a mic stand, in collaboration with. The news was spotted by Hitflix on a For Your Consideration award from Warner Bros., who'll no doubt be hoping that Boyd gets some belated Best Song acclaim at the Oscars next year.

Annie Lennox: "Twerking is Not Feminism...It's Not Liberating, It's Not Empowering"

Although Annie Lennox's new album, Nostalgia, is rooted in hits of the past, the singer continues to take aim at women in the present day.

During an interview with NPR's Steve Inskeep, Lennox strayed away from promoting her new album, out today (Oct. 21), and decided to address more issues with contemporary artists and feminism. Inskeep asked the former Eurythmics member why she's been calling modern music by female artists "over-sexualized."

"Well you've said it in the question," she said. "The reason why I've commented is because I think that this overt sexuality thrust -- literally -- at particular audiences, when very often performers have a very, very young audience, like 7 years older, I find it disturbing and I think its exploitative. It's troubling. I'm coming from a perspective of a woman that's had children."

Shia LaBeouf Talks Tumultuous Relationship With His Father and Finding God

The 28-year-old actor poses shirtless for the spread, showing off his scruffy beard and buffed-up bod in a series of swoon-worthy shots in addition to dishing on his tumultuous relationship with his father, his ability to find his faith after filming the movie Fury as well as his infamous behavior, which includes a recent arrest at the Broadway play Cabaret.

While LaBeouf may have been compared to actors such as Tom Hanks early in his career, the Lawless star says he always rejected those comparisons. "The guys who I looked up to were far darker," he admits, citing actors such as Gary Oldman, Sean Penn and Joaquin Phoenix as his idols.

LaBeouf, who recalls previously being told by Steven Spielberg that "Tom Cruise never picks his nose in public," shares how he never had a desire to have a squeaky clean image and was instead attracted to the "wounded heroes," citing his tumultuous relationship with his father as the reason for his mentality. The SJW world ain't ready for this!

'Are You The One?' might secretly be a companion piece to 'Stalker'

Falling in love with someone in the span of a week isn't exactly a regular occurrence outside of your average Nicholas Sparks creation, but MTV's "Are You The One?" is all about the accelerated matchmaking process. The word "love" is bound to make its way into a show where "perfect match" is the most used phrase by its contestants, but that doesn't exactly excuse some of the more ... intense behaviors of some of the men on "Are You The One?," especially keeping in mind that this is only episode three of the season.

Brandon, Nathan, and Layton have a few things in common. They're all heterosexual males, they're on this show, and their last names ends with either "-on" or "-an." The biggest thing they have in common, however, this time around, is just how absolutely clingy they are this early in the game. The longer the episode goes on, the more it sounds like some of their dialogue is lifted directly from CBS' "Stalker," and if not, then "Stalker" will eventually get its hands on their words. While Nathan cries a lot over Shelby not loving him after telling her he only dates the hottest girls in the world (and has since he was 13) and Layton doesn't appreciate "[his] woman" Jenni talking to Anthony, Brandon takes the cake as the contestant most likely to be arrested by Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott for stalking.

You see, Brandon is in especially fine form this week, not understanding the core concept of this show and continuing to pursue Christina despite the fact that he and she are not a match.

He also makes sure to be around her as often as he possibly can so no other guy in the house can try anything. Christina tries to diffuse the situation by saying all she wants to do is spend time with Brandon even though she can't, Brandon simply says he doesn't care ... because she is the most beautiful girl in the house and he's only going to spend time with her.

Tom Hanks publishes a short story in the New Yorker

Travelling to the moon was way less complicated this year than it was back in 1969, as the four of us proved, not that anyone gives a whoop. You see, over cold beers on my patio, with the crescent moon a delicate princess fingernail low in the west, I told Steve Wong that if he threw, say, a hammer with enough muscle, said tool would make a five-hundred-thousand-mile figure eight, sail around that very moon, and return to Earth like a boomerang, and wasn’t that fascinating?

Steve Wong works at Home Depot, so has access to many hammers. He offered to chuck a few. His co-worker MDash, who’d shortened his long tribal name to rap-star length, wondered how one would catch a red-hot hammer falling at a thousand miles an hour. Anna, who does something in Web design, said that there’d be nothing to catch, as the hammer would burn up like a meteor, and she was right. Plus, she didn’t buy the simplicity of my cosmic throw-wait-return. She is ever doubtful of my space-program bona fides. She says I’m always “Apollo 13 this” and “Lunokhod that,” and have begun to falsify details in order to sound like an expert, and she is right about that, too.

I keep all my nonfiction on a pocket-size Kobo digital reader, so I whipped out a chapter from “No Way, Ivan: Why the CCCP Lost the Race to the Moon,” written by an émigré professor with an axe to grind. According to him, in the mid-sixties the Soviets hoped to trump the Apollo program with just such a figure-eight mission: no orbit, no landing, just photos and crowing rights. The Reds sent off an unmanned Soyuz with, supposedly, a mannequin in a spacesuit, but so many things went south that they didn’t dare try again, not even with a dog. Kaputnik.

Ray Fisher aka Cyborg did NOT know he was getting his own solo movie!

When Ray Fisher signed his contract with WB, all he was promised was a cameo scene in Batman v Superman! He only found out that he was getting his own solo movie a few hours before the public announcement of WB slate was released. He said, ”I didn’t know the extent to which DC and WB had planned on taking my character.”

Fisher has already met Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Jason Momoa (Aquaman). “It was surreal. You get this idea of going to work on a Hollywood set as being really stressful and nerve-wracking. But it blew that stereotype away. If they did have stressful times, it wasn’t while I was there.” The 27 year old actor promised, "People are in for a hell of a treat."

Iron Man is forever. RDJ isn't.

After weeks of back and forth, will he or won't he, Marvel finally announced Robert Downey Jr.'s next appearance as Tony Stark / Iron Man, playing counterpoint to Chris Evans' Steve Roger in the NSA-fueled Captain America 3.

But the most interesting part of the announcement is this behind-the-scenes blurb from Variety:

Originally, Marvel wanted to hire Downey for a small role, which would have required just three weeks of work. But Downey wanted Stark to have a more substantial role in the film's plot, which would give him more screen time and naturally a bigger payday. This angered Marvel Entertainment chief Ike Perlmutter, who ordered the screenwriters to write Iron Man out of the script entirely, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

James Franco Stars in Daniel Arsham’s Film About the Future of Humanity

Expanding on his sculptural body of work — comprising technological objects like laptops and headphones, seemingly eroded by the lengthy passage of time — New York-based artist Daniel Arsham has filmed part two of his ‘Future Relic’ series.

Starring actor and director James Franco, the short movie depicts Franco’s day as a laboratory worker from an unknown time in the future, carefully cataloging, indexing and destroying disintegrating cameras and telephones lying beneath a detritus of shattered glass. The story documents the eventual disaster of humanity’s ill-fated attempt to save the planet from ecological destruction, taking the audience on a sojourn not only through the sculptural works arsham has produced throughout the last years — each playing their own role in the film — but also setting the stage for the nine-part series to follow.

Taylor Swift accidentally releases 8 seconds of white noise, tops Canadian iTunes chart

  1. To say that Taylor Swift fans are excited for the singer's new album1989 to be released on Oct. 27 would be an understatement.

Case in point: When a track containing nothing but eight seconds of white noise was accidentally released under the album's name on Tuesday morning, it shot to the top of Canada's iTunes chart almost immediately.

The release of the audio file, entitled "Track 3," was reportedly the result of an iTunes glitch — but that didn't stop eager fans from shelling out $1.29 to download the song.

Some of them reached out to the pop star herself for answers after listening to it.

Interview with Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Birdman director

On Michael Keaton: Keaton obviously adds a lot of reality to the film, and that was great. He is one of the few persons that has worn that cape and is a pioneer of that superhero thing, but at the same time he has the craft and the range to play drama and comedy. Very few actors in the world can do that. I think he was very bold and trusting in me to accept this role, and obviously the fact that he has been that in the past made him the perfect choice for it.

On superhero films: There’s a bunch of films that don’t mean nothing. They are not about nothing, but they’re just full of explosions and special effects. They are really tied to that, and corporations and hedge funds wants to squeeze money by those things that are, in a way, poisoning the cinema as a possibility to human expression. [...] The superhero in a way is an illusion that doesn’t exist, but to approach it with humor and laugh about it can be real fun.

On Birdman: I wanted to approach it in a lighter way because to survive that, it would be unbearable for a film about show business. Without a sense of humor it can be painful for the audience. It’s not an important issue for anybody or for humanity, but I think with a sense of humor it becomes a much more attractive thing to be explored and observed.

13 Now-Famous Actors We Were First Introduced To In HBO’s ‘Band of Brothers’ And ‘The Pacific’

It's all Band of Brothers (superior lbr)

6. Damian Lewis (Band of Brothers — We now know him from Homeland, of course, but he was also in the brilliant but short-lived Life (rip).

It's my yearly BoB obsession time. I've been watching basically nothing but Band of Brothers for like, two weeks.  This cast is so great and I love that they still love each other and seem to still support each other.  Always showing up together in the same shows or movies.  I wish the Pacific cast was so obviously close.
