Bill Hader Talks Gay Kisses, Trans Sketch and What Paul Rudd Tastes Like

Saturday night is a lot less spicy without Stefon, the fabulous "Weekend Update" club correspondent that turned actor Bill Hader into a comic star. But fear not. While Stefon has retired from "Saturday Night Live" to a "haunted diaper" in Chelsea, as Hader tells me in our recent chat, the funny-man flexes his impressive dramatic chops in "The Skeleton Twins," playing Kristen Wiig's twin, Milo, a struggling actor.

Aaaand, he's gay.

During our talk, Hader discussed his "license to be totally fabulous" as Milo, his regrettable transgender-centric "SNL" sketch, and the savory highlights of his A-list make-out roster.

Barcelona name training pitch in memory of former coach Vilanova

Barcelona have honored the memory of former coach Tito Vilanova by renaming a training ground after him.

The Catalan club's board of directors agreed to name the number one pitch at the club's training camp at Sant Joan Despi after Vilanova.

Vilanova, who replaced Pep Guardiola at the helm of Barca and won La Liga in his only season in charge, died of throat cancer at the age of 45 in April.

A statement from Barcelona read: "The Board gave its unanimous approval of the proposal to rename pitch number one at the Ciutat Esportiva after Tito Vilanova in posthumous honor of the former FC Barcelona player and manager."

Vilanova began his playing career at Barcelona's training academy but never made it to the first team. Instead, he played at Celta Vigo and Mallorca before his career was cut short by a serious knee injury.

He went on to coach Barcelona's youth system and in 2008 he was hired as Guardiola's assistant.

Vilanova helped Barca win 14 of a possible 19 major trophies in four years under Guardiola before becoming head coach in the summer of 2012

Eva Mendes Gives Birth, Welcomes Baby Girl With Ryan Gosling

Hey girl, indeed! Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling welcomed a baby girl on Friday, Sept. 12, multiple sources confirm exclusively to Us Weekly.

Us confirmed in July that Mendes, 40, and Gosling, 33, were expecting a baby together. At the time, rumors swirled that the Urban Legends actress was already seven months along.

Earlier this year, Mendes laughed off pregnancy rumors during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "It's so ridiculous," she said back in February. "It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out."

D*Face Q&A about his iconic art: The "Bionic" cover

Q: How did the cover for Christina Aguilera’s Bionic come about and did the record label give you feedback on it before the final version?

A: Christina and her then-husband Jordan Bratman had been buying my work for a while. They became good friends and we regularly hung out. Jordan is still one of my good friends, one of the nicest people you could meet—a true brother. When Christina asked me if I’d produce the artwork for her then-upcoming album, I was obviously flattered, but also concerned as in truth, I didn’t listen to her music. While she’s cool and I enjoyed hanging out with her, it wasn’t the music I listened to and I couldn’t see how what I did would fit with what she was doing. She explained that I’d have complete creative control and work directly with her and Jordan on the artwork. I asked her to let me listen to the album and see what came to mind. She told me, "I like the skulls being revealed in your paintings, but don’t make me dead". The album had a futuristic feel, but at the same time a nostalgia to it, and whether you like her music or not, she is an incredible singer— her voice is unbelievable. To me it seemed fairly natural to make her appear to be made up of musical components, like a steampunk robot. The feedback was fairly minor, so while producing the artwork was incredibly time-consuming, it went fairly smoothly.

Q: I saw the “hidden” items in that cover: your dog image and names important to her, including 'mom'. Were there any other "easter eggs" in the Bionic cover that you left for people to discover?

A: I started by hiding my name and the D*Dog in the artwork, right at the end when it was close to sign-off, thinking I could sneak it past her. No chance. She’s very meticulous and nothing just passes her by. She didn’t complain, just asked if I could add a few more hidden elements in there, so I did. Some obvious, some not so. I get asked a lot of times what things mean, but it wouldn’t be the same if I pointed them all out and explained their meanings.

NYCFC have sold 24,000 season tickets

Few MLS executives are as revered as Tim Leiweke, but his latest declaration certainly has people scratching their heads in disbelief.

Speaking to an audience at Ryerson University in Toronto this week, Leiweke dropped an inadvertent bombshell, revealing an unbelievable achievement by Major League Soccer’s 20th franchise, New York City FC — if true.

“I think Frank Lampard will do [what Beckham did for LA] for the new team in New York that starts play next year and that has sold 24,000 season tickets because of [David Villa] and Lampard. “They are going to be a fun team to watch.”

For the sake of comparison, 24k season tickets would put the fledgling franchise at a close second to the MLS standard bearer, Seattle Sounders, who have just over 32k sold. To put that number into context, NYCFC would be about 1,000 season tickets short of filling Red Bull Arena with just season ticket holders.

NYCFC might be coming to Queens

New York reports talks have broken down between NYCFC and the GAL Elevator Company in the South Bronx, forcing the fledgling franchise to return their focus towards Queens.

According to their sources, GAL agreed to, then declined on an offer made by the Manchester City owned franchise for the purchase of their land and relocation of the company. After months of negotiations, NYCFC officials stepped away from the bargaining table to pursue other options

‘Outlander’ Postmortem: Stars Discuss Black Jack’s Acts in ‘The Garrison Commander’

SPOILER ALERT: Do not read on unless you’ve seen the sixth episode of “Outlander,” titled “The Garrison Commander.”

The sixth episode of “Outlander” proves to be the most intense and harrowing to date — remarkable, considering that much of the hour focuses on two characters simply sitting in a room and talking. The cat and mouse game between Captain Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) and Claire Beauchamp Randall (Caitriona Balfe) takes a number of unexpected turns, something that co-star Sam Heughan admitted he “loved watching” just from an audience standpoint, telling Variety during a conversation during July’s San Diego Comic-Con that “I was on tenterhooks; it just turns on its head all the time.”

Reggie Bush Might 'Harshly' Discipline His 1-Year-Old Daughter

NFL star Reggie Bush told a radio call-in show that he disciplines his 1-year-old daughter, and one day could do so "harshly," as he came to the defense of fellow star Adrian Peterson's alleged parenting tactics.

The 29-year-old Detroit Lions running back made his comments during the "Boomer and Carton" radio show on New York's WFAN this morning.

"I most definitely discipline my daughter. I have a 1-year-old daughter, and I discipline her," he said. "Obviously, every person is different. I definitely will use my best judgment to discipline her depending on the situation, on what happens. I definitely will try to, will obviously not leave bruises or anything like that on her. But I definitely will discipline her harshly depending on, again, on what the situation is."

Today, the world celebrates anniversary of Mariah's "Butterfly"

20100926085745! Mariah Carey Butterfly Single

Can you believe today (Sept. 16) is the 17th anniversary of Mariah Carey‘s ‘Butterfly’? The internet celebrated the occasion by trending the phrase “#Butterfly17thAnniversary.”

It seems the time has flown by, but now is a perfect time to look back on the impact the album made. The project’s lead single, ‘Honey,’ was certified platinum in the United States and was nominated for two Grammys in 1998: Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song.

Additionally, ‘Butterfly’ entered the Billboard 200 at number one and remained in the top 20 for 21 weeks. Oh, and it was certified five-times platinum. Yep, that means more than five million copies of the album were sold!

It’s no surprise that the anniversary of ‘Butterfly’ has fans buzzing. While it clearly has racked up numerous accolades for Mariah, it is a classic album that remains a fan favorite. Like Mimi’s vocals, its power has stood the test of time — and that’s certainly worthy of some praise.

Cara Delevingne Lands Female Lead in John Green’s ‘Paper Towns’

Cara Delevingne is in talks to co-star with Nat Wolff in the adaptation of John Green’s “Paper Towns” for Fox 2000.

Jake Schreier will direct.

The story follows young neighbors who share the jarring experience of finding the body of a man who committed suicide. The two leads grow apart — until the night he finds her at his bedroom window, dressed like a ninja. She enlists him in a campaign to get revenge on the people who’ve hurt her. The next day, she vanishes and he is left to ponder the ramifications of the evening. Then he begins getting clues and follows them in an attempt to find her.

Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are producing. Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber (who also adapted Green’s “The Fault in Our Stars”) are writing the script.

After the success of “Stars,” which grossed $280 million worldwide, Fox is hopeful fans will have an appetite for another complex YA love story.

Fox 2000 seems to want to stay in business with the model-turned-actress, as she is also in talks to star in its Beach Boys inspired “All Summer Long.” She most recently wrapped production on the Warner Bros. film “Pan.”

She is repped by WME and United Agents.

Iggy Azalea's former boyfriend desperate to convince us he has exclusive legal ownership of sex tape

Iggy Azalea's former boyfriend/manager now claims Iggy signed her rights away to him, giving him legal authority to market their sex tape ... TMZ has learned.

Hefe Wine says Iggy signed a lengthy agreement with him in 2009 -- obtained by TMZ -- which gives him exclusive rights to "manufacture, sell, distribute and advertise 'any' recording embodying visual images."

Iggy signed the contract to cut records and music videos, but Wine believes all he has to do is put a music bed under the sex tape
which he claims would then give him exclusive rights to sell it.

In other words, he believes Iggy has no legal ability to block a sex tape if he wants to sell it.

What's more ... the contract provides that Wine has the legal right to create, host and maintain a website to market Iggy's works, so he believes he could create a website which would host the video.

United Nations Names Leonardo DiCaprio Messenger of Peace

"I feel a moral obligation to speak out at this key moment in human history - it is a moment for action," says the actor in addressing climate change.

Leonardo DiCaprio has been tapped by the United Nations to be honored with the title of Messenger of Peace, and the actor has been asked to speak on Sept. 23 at the U.N. Climate Summit to address the topic of climate change, the international organization announced on Tuesday.

“It’s an honor to accept the role of UN Messenger of Peace on Climate Change and to support the Secretary General in his efforts to address one of the most important issues we face as a global community,” said DiCaprio in a statement. “I feel a moral obligation to speak out at this key moment in human history - it is a moment for action. How we respond to the climate crisis in the coming years will likely determine the fate of humanity and our planet.”

Climate change may be the political topic most closely associated with The Wolf of Wall Street actor, who has regularly made headlines for his commitments to addressing the issue.

In February, DiCaprio pledged a donation of $3 million to marine conservation and followed with an additional $7 million pledge several months later. On Sept 21, two days before the U.N. Climate Summit in New York, the Clinton foundation will honor the actor for his committed environmentalism during a Manhattan gala event featuring Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton.

Other Hollywood industry notables that have been bestowed the Messenger of Peace title by the U.N. in recent years include Edward Norton, Michael Douglas, Charlize Theron, George Clooney and Stevie Wonder.

"United Nations Messengers of Peace/Goodwill Ambassadors are distinguished individuals, carefully selected from the fields of art, literature, science, entertainment, sports or other fields of public life, who have agreed to help focus worldwide attention on the work of the United Nations," reads the statement explaining the selection process on the U.N. site.

Zachary Quinto defends Michael co-star James Franco's obsession with gay topics

James-Franco-Zachary-Quinto-Michael-2 (1)

Zachary Quinto, who plays James Franco's ex-boyfriend in the indie flick Michael, is happy to see his co-star exploring gay topics in his films even if Franco is not gay himself.

'My feeling about James, in particular, is that he’s someone who is really interested in generating a dialogue,' Quinto tells HuffPost Live. 'I think it's certainly an issue in society today that warrants provocative discussion.'

Quinto, one of the few openly gay male movie stars, supports Franco's desire to explore political, social, spiritual and sexual topics in such gay-themed films as Howl, Milk, Interior. Leather Bar and Michael.

'People are probably more comfortable not talking about these topics,' Quinto says. 'So I feel like putting it out there, and putting it out there in different ways, is something that’s interesting and something that I don’t think people should shy away from.'

Quinto plans to reprise his role as Spock in a third Star Trek film and will appear in a few episodes in the news season of HBO's Girls.
