Former 'Tinder' Exec Sues 'Tinder' For Sexual Harrassment

A former honcho at Tinder is suing the company she co-founded ... claiming her co-founders acted like frat boys and called her a whore.

It's pretty ironic -- Tinder is an online dating app best known for hooking people up who want to bang.

But Whitney Wolfe claims in a new lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- she was mercilessly brutalized by the other execs who wanted to remove her title because no one would take a site like Tinder seriously if they knew it was founded by a 24-year-old chick.

Wolfe says one of the execs made a romantic play for her and she eventually dated him ... but it didn't end well and she claims he then waged a harassment campaign against her. She says he called her a whore in front of the CEO, imploring her not to look at him with "her ugly eyes."

She says the guy also texted her when he found out she was interested in someone else, saying, "I will s**t on him in life. He can enjoy my leftovers." She says she was also talking to some Muslim men and he texted her, "You prefer to social climb middle-aged Muslim pigs that stand for nothing."

And Wolfe says the guy referred to one of her girlfriends as "a liberal, lying desperate slut."

She says she was fired in retaliation.

Maybe there's an opening at Grindr.

Selena called the cops in fear someone broke into her house again!!!!!!

sel 1

Selena Gomez may want to rethink living in a free-standing house ... because she sounded a 911 alarm yet another time Sunday ... this time because she feared a burglar lurked inside her home.
Selena has cause for concern -- a stalker has broken into her property before, got arrested, got out and made a beeline for her home.  He got arrested again and thrown in jail, but he was out in a matter of days.  He was admitted to a mental health facility as of June 20, but is only required to be there for 30 days..
Selena got home Sunday night just before midnight and saw the back door flung open.
Cops rushed over but found no one inside and no evidence of forced entry.  It's possible she left it open herself, but Selena is freaked out.
Can't blame her.
So glad she's okay! I'd be paranoid too!!!!!
Have you ever had a false alarm scare, ONTD?

FOX and UFC cut ties with MMA Fighter and Analyst Chael Sonnen for Third Failed Drug Test

In light of a second failed drug test [in the last month], this time for human growth hormone (HGH) and recombinant human erythropoietin (EPO), the UFC and FOX Sports have parted ways with Chael Sonnen.

UFC officials announced the termination of Sonnen's broadcasting agreement late Monday night, issuing the following statement:

"The UFC and FOX Sports organizations announced today the termination of their respective broadcasting services agreements with analyst Chael Sonnen. This decision comes in light of Sonnen failing a second test conducted by the Nevada Athletic Commission for banned substances in June. Sonnen was previously under temporary suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission for failing an initial test conducted in May."

The announcement marks a surprising and unceremonious end to Sonnen's second tenure in the UFC.

A three-time title contender who nearly stole the middleweight championship away from Anderson Silva at the height of the Brazilian's powers in 2010, Sonnen (28-14-1) developed into one of the company's biggest pay-per-view draws on the strength of his loquacious promos and undeniable marketing savvy, coaching The Ultimate Fighter twice, serving as a lead analyst across several FOX entities, and headlining numerous UFC events, including the promotion's debut on FOX Sports 1.

Sonnen retired in mid-June after failing a random drug test administered by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) on May 24th in advance of his scheduled UFC 175 grudge match against fellow TUF Brazil 3 coach Wanderlei Silva. Sonnen initially tested positive for the banned substances anastrozole and clomiphene, which he attributed as necessary medication in order to help him transition off testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

The 37-year-old subsequently failed a second random drug test administered by the NAC on June 5th, testing positive for HGH, EPO, anastrozole, and human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).

Sonnen's case is expected to be evaluated at the next NAC meeting, which is scheduled for July 23rd in Las Vegas, NV.

I remember ONTD talking about Lance Armstrong and blood doping -- and now probably one of the best known fighters got caught doing exactly that. I'm personally torn, because Sonnen is easily one of the most entertaining personalities from any sport, but I remember how much the MLB tarnished their name because of their reluctance to part ways with their 'roided golden boys.

For those playing the home game, Sonnen got caught in 2010 with an absurdly high testosterone level (T:E ratio of like 16:1 when a normal person is 1:1 and athletes are allowed up to 4:1). He got caught about a month ago with drugs usually used to cycle off steroids (he then announced his retirement). And then we found out that he majorly failed a test given a week after the previous one.

Commonwealth Chanteuse has Fans

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

As the stage crew prep the equipment, blue neon lights dance over the expectant crowd. Camera phone flashes are going off and the screams of the fans are never more than a few seconds apart. Unsurprisingly, the audience is made up almost entirely of teenage girls – many of them chanting the teen singer’s name in unison while others break out into synchronised dance routines. The extent of their excitement and devotion becomes apparent when a roadie picks up a guitar and strums it for a sound check and the crowd responds with a wave of manic screams and applause.

When Cody Simpson finally appears on stage with his two musicians, the room lights up with phones raised skyward and the screams reach a dizzying new peak. He sports a bandana around his head and looks a world away from the boyish persona we might remember from his early music videos. The concert is an all-acoustic set and he opens with Sinkin’ In, a steady-paced number from his newest album. Musically, the trio are flawlessly tight and similarly Simpson’s vocals could not be faulted at any point in the performance. Lyrically the songs are generic, catering to a teenage audience; Simpson announces “tonight we’re going to sing to you about a little thing I like to call love!”. He certainly delivers on this promise, as almost every song features the word “baby” and some variation of “I miss you”. The content however doesn’t fail to engage the crowd who sing along to every song with fervent enthusiasm.

CrossFit spurred Rick Ross' incredible 100-lb weight loss

“I’ve been doing this CrossFit thing," said Ross. "I call it ‘RossFit. We had started doing it last year. The most I used to do for exercise was stand up to count the money, you know what I’m saying?”

Rick, a former couch potato, said he actually enjoys his high-intensity CrossFit training. "It’s a different type of workout,” he said. “I feel good.”

Ross, 38, also modified his diet, and began eating less junk and more fruit. He said he stills eats the way he used to, but in smaller portions. And he makes exercise a top priority. "I eat pears now and s–t like that," he said. "I still eat the way I want to eat. I just go to the gym."

Rick decided to take control of his health after suffering two seizures in one day back in 2011. The seizures, which occurred on two separate airplane flights, left him unconscious, and CPR was necessary to revive him.

Ross doesn't have a specific weight-loss goal, but is proud of his progress. “It was just time for me to tighten up a little bit,” he said. “I have no destination, no specific weight [goal].”

Tim McGraw Credits CrossFit and Paleo for 40-Lb Weight Loss

Rick isn't the only celebrity who has lost a dramatic amount of weight with CrossFit. Country superstar Tim McGraw credited the combination of CrossFit and the Paleo diet for his jaw-dropping 40-pound weight loss.

McGraw is in the best shape of his life, and has rippling 8-packs for the first time — at age 47. Even he is stunned by his transformation. "I was looking at some old concert shots the other day. Man, my gut!" Tim told Men's Health.

Tim's CrossFit routine incorporate kettlebell swings, hammer strikes, tire flips, sled pulling, and strength-training with martial-arts expert Roger Yuan. "I have trained a lot of people, and many are hard workers, but Tim is another animal," said Yuan. "There is no quitting in him."

Study: CrossFit Torches Body Fat and Boosts Aerobic Fitness

CrossFit's popularity has soared during the past few years, as proponents swear by the regimen's capacity to improve strength and overall fitness. A study Ohio State University confirms what CrossFit fans have been saying all along — that the high-intensity power training workouts can dramatically improve aerobic fitness and body-fat composition.

According to the 10-week OSU study, male and female participants who did CrossFit achieved significant improvements in both aerobic capacity and body fat.

The study tracked 54 participants who did weight-lifting moves such as the squat, dead lift and overhead press performed at high intensity with extremely short rest intervals in between sets. The research showed that all of the participants improved their aerobic fitness, decreased body fat and gained lean muscle.

This Generation's Henry VIII

It’s been just over a year since Katy Perry’s short lived marriage to Russell Brand ended in divorce…but she’s now looking for an annulment.

“Although they've been divorced for years now, Katy wants a clean slate and has started the process to wipe the first marriage from her record,” says the source.

Katy got married in a Hindu ceremony to Russell, 39, in October 2010 despite being raised as a catholic (I feel like this is wrong). Her parents are both pastors. An annulment - which means the marriage will be invalid and void - will allow Katy to wed again in the Catholic Church, something she’s unable to do if she’s only divorced.

The source explains: “It’s important to her parents that the quickie wedding does not count in the church and she doesn’t understand why Russell can’t do that for her parents. She knows his approval is just a formality, but she is still hurt about that break-up and wants to kind of say publicly that it was a mistake she wants to wipe off the books.

“She's trying to get Russell to agree, but so far he's not cooperating. They still don’t speak. She is going through his people, but so far she isn’t hearing anything back. The former couple split in December 2012, with their divorce being finalised in February 2013. And it’s no secret it was a messy break-up. Over the past 18-months, the pair have taken endless swipes at each other, with Russell even confessing he thought about other women during sex with Katy.

Travel Channel Yanks "Man Finds Food" After Adam Richman's Online 'Suicide' Taunt

Adam Richman's new show on the Travel Channel just got yanked in the wake of his rant over the term "thinspiration" ... the one where he encouraged a hater to commit suicide.

The cable channel just announced it's postponing the premiere of Richman's "Man Finds Food" -- but hasn't said exactly when it will air ... leading many to believe it could be done for good.

Richman -- who recently lost 70 lbs. -- came under fire for posting an Instagram pic with "#thinspiration.' Online trolls jumped on him for using the term -- claiming it's only associated with people suffering eating disorders.

Adam responded to one critic with ... "Grab a razor blade and draw a bath.  I doubt anyone will miss you."

Travel Channel didn't specifically say the suicide taunt was behind the postponement.

Richman apologized this morning, saying ... "I’ve long struggled with my body image and have worked very hard to achieve a healthy weight. I’m incredibly sorry to everyone I’ve hurt.”

NBC also announced it WILL go forward with another Richman show -- "Food Fighters" -- later this month.

Anna and Kristoff cast on OUAT

TVLine has learned exclusively that newcomer Elizabeth Lail will play Anna, Queen Elsa of Arendelle’s younger sister, while Greek grad Scott Michael Foster has landed the recurring role of Anna’s beau Kristoff.

Still remaining to be cast for the opening arc of the ABC drama’s Season 4 is Elsa herself.

Once‘s Anna is described as a fun-loving, fearless optimist who often gets herself into situations where she is in over her head, yet is able to triumph due to her resourcefulness and can-do spirit. She values her relationship with her sister Elsa above all else.

Kristoff meanwhile is a hearty, salt-of-the-earth ice cutter whose sometimes-gruff demeanor can hide his deep love for Anna and her sister Elsa. When we first meet him on Once, he is adjusting to life at the castle — including sleeping indoors for the first time in his life.

The (5) Best Movies Of 2014... So Far

As of July 2, the year officially is half over. What kind of a year has it been? The summer blockbuster are struggling to surpass Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s The LEGO Movie on the box office charts (though Captain America: The Winter Soldier rode its late-spring release date to a massive financial win). And early film festivals like Sundance, SXSW, Cannes and Tribeca started introducing a few movies into the awards-contending conversation – but we have plenty of time left to tell which features will earn Oscar’s favor.

We decided that today would be a great day to regroup, reflect and single out the best movies we have seen on screen so far in 2014. The outstanding team of Cinema Blend movie writers have chosen to champion movies both massive and small, passionate and intimate. Even by expanding our list to 10, there are titles we had to leave off of the list. Be sure to tell us your favorite 2014 movie (so far) in the comments section below. For now, these are the best movies we’ve seen this year, starting with…

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Most people say that summer started with the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but they seem to forget that Marvel kicked off the party a month earlier with Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The sequel to the best solo Marvel movie since Iron Man, it was a film that showed us how important Steve Rogers is to the modern world. As he's catching up to speed with our modern ways, he's dealing with a threat that's his match in strength and strategy. That threat is, in typical comic book fashion, also his supposedly long dead best friend. Go figure.

So why is Captain America: The Winter Soldier one of the best films of the year so far? Because Christopher Marcus and Stephen McFeely weren't content with just giving us another kick-assed Captain America movie. They also had to give us aCaptain America movie that could make us think. With a storyline worthy of a 1970's political potboiler, especially when it's questioning the ethics of illegal surveillance tactics, Captain America: The Winter Soldier mixes two scoops of brain food into our Saturday Morning cereal. Considering the fluff in some comic movies these days, we're all the better for it.

Set Pics of Reynolds, Mirren, Maslany, Brühl, Holmes and Irons on "Woman in Gold"

Directed by Simon Curtis, the biopic is based on the life of World War II survivor Maria Altmann, a Jewish refugee involved in a 1980s legal battle to win back five paintings by Gustav Klimt - stolen by the Nazis - among them 'The Lady in Gold'.

Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany has been cast as young Maria, while Dame Helen Mirren stars as the present-day lead. Reynolds plays, Randy Schoenberg, the lawyer who fights the case for her although he knows little about art, while Katie Holmes plays his wife. Brühl plays the opposing lawyer.

The film is the first time director Curtis has worked with BBC Films following the huge success of the 2011 flick, My Week With Marilyn. Shooting began on May 23 in the UK and the cast will film a selection of scenes in Austria and the US.

The film is expected to be released in cinemas in 2015.

That Twitter Q&A with Robin Thicke went well then, didn’t it?

Robin Thicke is planning to answer questions online Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. ET, so in preparation VH1 asked users to submit questions through a hashtag.

When VH1 decided to play host to a Twitter Q&A with Robin Thicke, they probably weren’t quite expecting the reaction they got.

Because instead of flooding the social media hub with innocuous questions about the Blurred Lines singer’s musical influences or his favourite colour, most of those responding had something far different on their minds.

To be fair, they certainly had plenty to ask him – even if most of it did appear to be about misogynistic song lyrics or his relationship with his estranged ex-wife Paula Patton.

But we’re not entirely sure, by the time everyone had finished having fun with the hashtag, that VH1 would have anything left they could actually ask him.

Kentucky Marriage Ban Struck Down by Federal Judge

Today U.S. District Judge John G. Heyburn II issued his second marriage equality ruling in recent months, this time striking down Kentucky’s prohibition on the performance of marriages between same-sex couples. In Love v. Beshear, two same-sex couples in Kentucky sued the state, arguing that Kentucky’s refusal to grant them marriage licenses violates the U.S. Constitution. In his ruling, Judge Heyburn wrote, “Assuring equal protection for same-sex couples does not diminish the freedom of others to any degree. Thus, same-sex couples’ right to marry seems to be a uniquely ‘free’ constitutional right.” The judge stayed his ruling, pending appeal to the Sixth Circuit.

“It seems that not a day goes by where we don’t see clear evidence of America’s untempered momentum toward equality,” said HRC Legal Director Sarah Warbelow. “Today’s marriage ruling makes clear that Kentucky should not be denying committed and loving gay and lesbian couples the right to marry. We congratulate the plaintiffs and their attorneys and thank them for making today’s victory possible.”

Spain confirmed as new location for GoT season 5 filming

The U.S. ambassador to Spain and former Vice President of HBO, James Costos, has confirmed that scenes for Game of Thrones Season 5 will be shot in Spain. This comes fast on the heels of confirmed rumors about scouting in the area.

To be exact, The Alcázar of Seville (pictured above) will serve as the Water Gardens of Dorne, where Prince Oberyn Martell’s older brother, Prince Doran, spends his time. It is also likely that the country will host the filming of scenes in Sunspear, the seat of House Martell.

The Alcázar is a Moorish-built castle whose construction dates back to the 1300s, so it would seem to be a perfect fit for a Dornish landmark.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's breasts join the cast of 'Criminal Minds'

Jennifer Love Hewitt is returning to CBS.

The former Ghost Whisperer star is joining the 10th season of long-running procedural Criminal Minds as a new series regular, CBS announced Tuesday. She will first appear in the Oct. 1 season premiere.

Hewitt will play Kate Callahan, a seasoned undercover agent whose stellar work at the FBI has landed her a coveted position with the Behavioral Analysis Unit.

“We’re thrilled to introduce a new special agent by adding the very talented Jennifer Love Hewitt to our amazing cast,” said executive producer and showrunner Erica Messer in a statement. “Many of us on the show have enjoyed working with her over the years and look forward to again. We have exciting storylines planned for her character and the entire BAU team as we head into our 10th season.”

Hewitt, who toplined Lifetime's The Client List for two seasons, starred as Melinda Gordon in Ghost Whisperer for CBS, which wrapped its five-season run in 2010.

She joins an ensemble led by Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness. Jeanne Tripplehorn left the series after two seasons. ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios produces Criminal Minds.

Same old but a different day: Split fears for 1D as Kodaline write song for Harry Styles solo album

Kodaline spoke of writing with Styles earlier this year and revealed they co-wrote a song about unrequited love.

Speaking to Digital Spy, however, singer Steve Garrigan said it was one of hundreds of songs.

"There are hundreds of songs flying around," he said.

"It could be on his album, if he does something. But I don't know. Nothing is set in stone."

The band weren't formally assigned to writing with Styles - he simply turned up at a show and said he liked their music.

"We had a bit of free time and so we went to the studio, and wrote a song. It was good fun," Garrigan said.

The news has sparked fears amongst One Direction fans of a split as Harry appears keen to record solo material.

Robin Williams in Rehab Facility to Maintain Sobriety

Robin Williams is at a rehab facility again ...but his people tell TMZ it's NOT because he fell off the wagon.

Williams is at Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center near Lindstrom, Minnesota.

Robin is in a part of the facility called The Lodge -- there are lots of fancy descriptions, but it's essentially a program to maintain long-term sobriety.

We're told Robin will be staying for several weeks.

The pic (above) was taken Sunday at a Dairy Queen ... walking distance from Hazelden.

Robin has struggled with addiction for decades. He cold turkeyed cocaine and alcohol in the early 1980s and was sober for 20 years ... then fell off the wagon. He went to rehab in 2006.

Robin's rep tells TMZ, "After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud."

Good for him for being proactive in his sobriety.

'Watch What Happens Live': Andy Cohen on Oprah's Candor; What You Do the Night Bin Laden Is Killed?

As the Bravo talk show celebrates its fifth anniversary, its host talks to The Hollywood Reporter about Craig Ferguson's replacement, his efforts to woo Michelle Obama, his favorite interviews and which episode he wishes he could erase from existence.

This story first appeared in the July 4 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine.

It's his own descriptor, and it's fitting given his background as a top Bravo programming executive and host of the network's often-controversial Real Housewives reunion specials. Miley's NBC Bangerz Tour Special Will Go On Despite PTC Protests

One of TV’s most vocal watchdog groups is calling on NBC to change the air time of Sunday’s Miley Cyrus concert special and rate the program for mature audiences only. . .or not broadcast it at all.

But San Antonio’s NBC affiliate, WOAI, is sure its network won’t be pulling — or delaying — the 8 p.m. two-hour special, “Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour.”

WOAI general manager John Seabers went on to assure viewers that the program “will follow FCC guidelines absolutely.”

“Is she going to do twerking or something like that?” he added. “I don’t know. But my guess is that because this is controlled in a different way, you’ll see a more broadcast friendly program.”

The head of the Parents Television Council (PTC) doesn’t agree, pointing out that Cyrus is famous for her sexually provocative material and that 9 p.m. — 8 p.m. in San Antonio and a large percentage of the rest of the country — is still considered family viewing time, when such objectionable programs shouldn’t air.

Watch Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy Raise a Child Together in This St. Vincent Trailer

Hard to believe that it has been 15 years since Bill Murray starred in Wes Anderson’s whip smart coming-of-age comedy, Rushmore, playing the unlikely father figure to a wayward male youth in a private-school uniform. In the first trailer for St. Vincent, from writer/director Theodore Melfi, Bill Murray appears to dust off that archetype by playing another unlikely father figure to a male youth in a private-school uniform. Only this time around, the boy has a hard-working mother (played by Melissa McCarthy) rather than a father, and Murray’s character is a broke war vet rather than a fabulously wealthy industrialist.

Having seemingly spent all of his money on over-the-top accessories that telegraph his eccentricity—Ray Charles-style wraparound sunglasses, a long-haired white cat, a cut-off T-shirt, a convertible with wood paneling, and a hideous bicep tattoo—Murray’s character Vincent is broke. As such, he agrees to “babysit” his new 12-year-old neighbor (played by Jaeden Lieberher) by teaching him about race tracks, bars, fist fights, and a pregnant Russian stripper (played by Naomi Watts and a liberal spray tan) in their coming-of-age journey together. Sadly, the trailer seems a bit underwhelming for a comedy featuring two of the funniest people alive in the promising (if hackneyed) scenario of raising a kid together. But who are we kidding—the trailer could have been 30 seconds of black screen and, knowing that Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy are starring, we would still see the movie anyway.

St. Vincent arrives in theaters October 24.

Here for this entire cast tbh.
I figured ONTD could relate to the very first scene of the trailer, what w/ the student loans & all.

That said, do you have a mentor, ONTD?

Can celebrities be good role models? Should they have to be? Former wild child stars – like the now mature and reflective Angelina Jolie and Madonna – have raised awareness of important issues; Jolie by choosing to talk about her preventative double mastectomy and Madonna by adopting two children from Malawi.

But while these grown-up celebrities are now 'doing good', the younger stars are finding it more difficult. You can't help feeling sorry for all those young celebrities who found fame on the Disney Channel. It seems unfair to expect stars to tailor their work to a young audience for their entire careers.

NEW YORK — One day. That was all the time Maya Sloan allowed herself to Google reviews of the dystopian young adult novel she ghostwrote for Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Not surprisingly, Internet trolls had it out for the youngest sisters of the Kardashians — lampooning the idea that two teenage models who had yet to graduate from high school wanted to be taken seriously as authors. But Sloan, 37, didn't escape unscathed, either.

"Maya Sloan must have a serious need for money to submit herself to this kind of public humiliation," posted one Gawker.com commenter about her role as ghostwriter.

Yeah, so maybe this wasn't the response she envisioned after five years toiling away on two separate writing MFAs. It certainly wasn't what her family imagined; relatives regularly email her job openings at places like the prestigious Iowa Writers' Workshop and suggest she try submitting her fiction to literary journals instead of ghostwriting.

In 2010, Nicki was promoting Pink Friday, her first studio album, which would eventually go platinum. The first official single, “Your Love,” went to no. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. By the end of 2010, Nicki had set a record by appearing on seven singles charting on the Hot 100 at once. None of them went to no. 1, though, her own “Super Bass” peaking at no. 3. At the end of the year, Nicki was riding the success of “Moment 4 Life,” her duet with Drake.
