Juicy Couture closes all U.S. stores, now sold at Kohl's

It's the end of an era for Juicy Couture and its rhinestone-encrusted terry cloth tracksuits. As mentioned previously, the ill-fated Cali brand is shutting down all of its U.S. stores by the end of June. That's not all: despite the news that the label—which was sold by parent company Kate Spade & Co. last fall to American Brands Group—recently inked a deal with trendy shoemaker Steve Madden and a non-exclusive licensing agreement with Kohl's, staff at several LA locations tell us the merch will only be available internationally after the brick-and-mortar shutterings.

We can confirm that Juicy's Pasadena and Malibu locations are now closed, and their remaining shops (excluding Camarillo Outlets, which is dunzo next Tuesday) are offering deep discounts on remaining inventory. The Americana at Brand store is unloading its merch for 50% off before they shutter this Saturday, as is Westfield Century City (which closes Tuesday, June 24) and Rodeo Drive, which closes at the end of this month. Staff at the Santa Monica Place location tells us they're offering 60% off before their doors close on Saturday, while everything at the Citadel Outlets location is slashed at 70% off (they tell us they're closing "sometime next week").

Who should be Katypatra's Antony?

Katy Perry‘s Prismatic World Tour doesn’t kick off again until Sunday. Whatever will we do in the meantime? How about wildly speculating about her romantic life and weighing in with unsolicited advice? Don’t mind if we do…

So, since Katy Perry and John Mayer apparently ended their on-again, off-again relationship (again), there are have been a lot of rumors flying around with regard to who the “Roar” singer is dating — and the candidates are rather diverse.

Magic in the Moonlight poster: Emma Stone & Colin Firth in the roaring '20s

Like many of his recent films, Woody Allen's latest flick, "Magic in the Moonlight," is filled with familiar faces, and two of them are front and center on the movie's new poster.

The poster (below), premiering today exclusively on Moviefone, features stars Emma Stone and Colin Firth decked out in 1920s period garb, a nod to the film's Jazz Age setting. In "Moonlight," Firth plays a Brit known for his work debunking fake spiritualists, who travels to the south of France to unmask another assumed fraud, played by Emma Stone.

Brad Pitt and Peter Capaldi in Glasgow School of Art fire appeal

Hollywood star Brad Pitt and Dr Who actor Peter Capaldi are leading efforts to raise £20m to restore Glasgow School of Art's fire-hit Mackintosh building.

Both have agreed to be trustees of The Mackintosh Appeal which the art school (GSA) officially launched on Wednesday.

Pitt is a well-known fan of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the Scots architect who designed the iconic building. Capaldi is a former art school student.

GSA estimates the cost of restoring the building to be between £20m and £35m.

The blaze, which destroyed about 10% of the building, including the Mackintosh library, broke out on Friday 23 May.

In the immediate aftermath, GSA established a Phoenix Bursary scheme to help students affected by the fire to recreate lost work.

Jennifer Lopez remembers the days when her record label budgeted $1 million for one of her music videos. Today, she's attempting to create the same magic with one-tenth of the money.

The entrepreneur says being a singer has been "challenging" since she debuted on the pop scene in the late 1990s, dominating the charts with back-to-back hits while becoming a driving force on other entertainment platforms.

"It used to be like this big magical world, almost like Oz, when you'd make a record," the 44-year-old says. "(It) was like anything was possible."

Vin Diesel Writes About 'Fast and Furious 7' Difficulties in Facebook Post

Last week brought reports that Vin Diesel was having problems on the set of Fast and Furious 7 — various unnamed sources complained that the star was being difficult and “spent a whole day in his trailer one day.”

Although the actor didn’t respond directly to the reports (which studio reps emphatically denied), he did take to his Facebook page Tuesday to reminisce about his late costar Paul Walker and to talk about the production’s struggle to carry on in the wake of Walker’s death last year. Accompanying a shot of Diesel and Walker together, Diesel writes of his friend:

Bear Grylls' New Show will feature Channing Tatum, Zac Efron and Ben Stiller

[NBC] has ordered Running Wild with Bear Grylls, which is set to premiere on Monday, July 28. The unscripted effort will feature the bold-faced survivalist, who formerly starred in NBC's Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls, as he takes celebrities including Channing Tatum, Zac Efron and Ben Stiller into the most remote locations for 48-hour adventures.

Each of the six hour-long episodes ordered will focus on a single celebrity -- the others include NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, actor Tom Arnold and Today anchor Tamron Hall -- as he or she endures the harsh wildnerness with Grylls. Among the activities featured: skydiving into the Catskill Mountains, repelling down the cliffs of Utah and battling torrential wind and rain in Scotland.

“Running Wild allows viewers to see inside the hearts and minds of these guests in a very open, honest and vulnerable way, pushing them out of their comfort zones and seeing what they are like in real life when stripped of all the benefits of celebrity,” said Grylls, who added: “Ultimately, this show is about taking these stars on the adventure of a lifetime and being alongside them when they discover something new and empowering about themselves and their world. For me, that is always a privilege.”

I had been dancing intensely and merrily while tearing down decorations and streamers all night. But then, I had apparently started trying to tear off pipes and parts of the interior of the actual building. Lizzy Caplan for Marie Claire and The Warp

"I had to take a bath yesterday, and Yen, my dresser on set, had to strategically place bubbles over my naked body," says Lizzy Caplan. "I may be naked on camera, but Yen's job is to place bubbles over my boobs. So who had a more ridiculous day?"

Making light of public nudity has been a job requirement ever since the 32-year-old actress signed on to Showtime's Masters of Sex, which returns for its second season on July 13. If you haven't seen the show (and you should fix that), Caplan plays the real-life Virginia Johnson, a twice-divorced, sexually enlightened nightclub singer in late-1950s St. Louis who becomes secretary to the prominent, married gynecologist William Masters (Michael Sheen) and collaborates with him on a series of groundbreaking studies of human sexuality. Their methodology? Record hundreds of subjects in the act—and eventually participate themselves.

Taking on the decidedly un-acerbic Johnson is a departure for Caplan, who made her name playing prickly snark queens like Casey Klein, the disgruntled cater-waiter on Party Down; Gena, the coked-up bridesmaid in Bachelorette; and, most iconically, crazy-haired Janis Ian, the scene-stealing outcast in Mean Girls. Growing up in Los Angeles, the daughter of a lawyer father and a political-aide mother, Caplan honed her withering wit the old-fashioned way: scouring newspaper comics and reading joke books from the library cover to cover ("I took being funny sort of seriously"). Though, like Janis, Caplan wore her hair black and her thrift-store clothes baggy, her performing arts high school was nothing like the one in Mean Girls. "It was kind of the weirder you were and the gayer you were, the more interesting you were." She began acting at 15 and turned down NYU to keep at it, making her the black sheep in her "tremendously academic" family. ("But," she points out, "the black sheep with no student loans. How you like dem apples?")
Collapse )

Lizzy Caplan never expected her dream role to be in a drama series, let alone one based in a hospital. Her agents didn't think she be into a project like that, either.

But the actress gave “Masters of Sex” a closer look and soon  became smitten with Virginia Johnson, the pioneering sex researcher she plays in the Showtime series.  And now, deep in production on the show's second season, Caplan remains captivated by Johnson, a singer who became a household name for her work studying orgasms along with partner William Masters.

Yoko Ono Unveils Plans to Licence John Lennon's Legacy

Surely, we'll never get over John Lennon. Here’s The “Official” World Cup Condom - Caipirinha flavored

Looks like Brazil's flag, tastes like Brazil's signature drink.

The world’s biggest condom maker Karex claims its World Cup-themed condom is in high demand at the FIFA tournament in Brazil, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The yellow and green condoms are supposed to look like the Brazilian flag and are supposed to taste like a Caipirinha, the country’s national cocktail made with sugar, lime, and cachaca (a sugar-cane-based Brazilian white rum). The family planning and HIV-prevention non-profit DKT International ordered the condoms, which are being distributed via the brand Prudence, to promote safe sex during the sporting event.

About 700,000 packs of three have been sold since they debuted in February, and an additional 864,000 have been distributed this week, The Wall Street Journal reports. Available in Brazilian pharmacies and supermarkets, each pack costs $1.39.

Condom distribution was also part of a nationwide safe-sex campaign at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa due to the country’s HIV/AIDS epidemic. At the time, FIFA was accused of airing ads for the reportedly higher-cost brand Durex over more affordable brands and repeatedly denied allegations by sexual health charities that it was blocking the distribution of safe-sex materials at the event. Cape Town’s tourism organization put 160,000 condoms in hotel rooms in June 2010. And a local doctor made headlines for working to offer latex condoms with “teeth-like” hooks designed to attach on a man’s penis and fight rape during the tournament.

Earlier this week, Brazilian health officials handed out condoms and tested people for HIV through the UNAIDs program “Protect the Goal” program. Recent articles about the 2014 World Cup have touted Brazil’s HIV/AIDS program as a “model” for other developing countries.

Get it, Brazil

Selena Gomez: ‘I’m living in a bubble’

Selena Gomez needs to chill.
The 21-year-old singer/actress is getting heat to cut back on a frenetic schedule. But for someone that’s been in front of the cameras, rehearsing lines since she was 7 years old, taking a break from the pressure to perform requires a friendly nudge.
“I have people saying ‘Have fun!’ You know, like be able to just enjoy where I am,” Gomez said. “But I want to do a lot, though. I love what I do. I’m obsessed with what I do.”
Right now, her obsession is with her career, not swatting rumors about her personal life, or reports that she was diagnosed with lupus. Gomez is very much calling the shots when it comes to guarding her name and reputation.
Which is why she was quick to point out that her recent trip to Nepal, as a UNICEF Ambassador, highlighted the disconnect her career has created with the outside world.
“It was beautiful. It was spiritual,” she said of the journey. “I never showered, ever, because I was in the field every day and it just felt like I was removed, completely, from my bubble that I live in,” she said. “And it was incredible.”
Sitting cross-legged on the floor in the middle of a dilapidated building, Gomez surrounded herself with village children, getting a wake-up call to the differences between her needs, and those living in a developing country.
“I mean, I was visiting with children who were trying to beg their parents for a toilet,” Gomez recalled. “And we’re complaining we got to do stuff every day. That’s when you really understand and that was the best gift that I received. Because I consume all of this energy from the world essentially that is like a pressure and it’s a sense of focusing on certain things that are totally not what this world is about.”
And yet, Gomez is not without her own needs.
She’s reaching for privacy and the public’s patience in letting her develop into something more complex than the Disney show kid.
“I’ve always loved my life,” she said. “I think there are certain parts of my life I wish I could have to myself and things I could do and grow and experience. But it would almost be just hypocritical of me if I complained about it. I think it’s silly sometimes what happens, but I love what I do and I guess I gotta deal with it.”
And unless her idea of relaxation is practicing scales, it doesn’t look like Gomez is taking much time for herself, having just started piano lessons.
“I know how to play a little bit, but you genuinely have to be confident,” she explained. “I’ve learned two of my songs before but I’ve just been terrified, so now I have a professional teaching me and I’m going to be amazing.”

As I Lay Dying singer admits atheism; lied to fans

A so-called Christian heavy metal band whose frontman was convicted of attempting to hire a hitman to murder his estranged wife has admitted that it duped fans into believing that they were Christian in order to sell their music.

In fact, I think I was the third. The two who remained kind of stopped talking about it, and then I’m pretty sure they dropped it, too.”

Of Wine and Burgers: The Belcher's Home Valuation

Image and video hosting by TinyPicJust in case you haven’t noticed yet, there’s this awesome show called “Bob’s Burgers” on Fox, and it’s kinda my favorite thing on TV right now. Following along with Bob, Linda, and their three rambunctious kids as they try to make a burger joint profitable is hilarious and a much needed break from reality. From the burger of the day to the Easter-egg signs in the opening, there’s so much to discover and enjoy.

Not quite Tina’s-love-for-Jimmy-Jr. obsessed, but definitely getting there. I grabbed a burger from my local In-N-Out, watched every episode on Netflix, and did some serious math. But did I stop there? Oh no. Like with Linda and wine, I definitely don’t know when to stop.

The 20 Best Summer Blockbusters Ever

Over a month ago, perhaps feeling daunted by the seemingly endless summer season stretching out in front of us and the sheer volume of popcorn we were going to have to eat, we brought you our list of The 20 Worst Summer Blockbusters Of All Time. But now that we’re in the thick of it, and we’ve had a few more decent big titles open (“22 Jump Street,” “Edge of Tomorrow” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past” all had their charms) we’re turning that frown upside down, and bringing you our rundown of the 20 Best Summer Blockbusters of all time. But that “hooray for everything!” vibe is a little misleading. As we’ve proven to ourselves so many times before, stable, long-term professional relationships of mutual respect and admiration tend not to be shaken by debates over whether “Jonah Hex” is empirically worse than “Battlefield Earth,” but are much more likely likely to be rocked to their very foundations by arguments over whether X treasured childhood classic is better than Y worldwide box-office hit. Let’s have a moment’s silence for the old friendships this list has torn asunder.
That said, now does feel like the right time to try to compile this list of all-time great summer blockbusters, since, as we’ve pointed out several times before, it does really seem like the era of the all-conquering summer season is approaching its twilight. Aside from the fallow months of January and February (and this year we even got “The Lego Movie” in February), big films are slated for release throughout the year, and while there’s a definite uptick in the summer months, there’s also the sense that Christmas has started to rival July, and that more and more canny strategists are even pursuing the “Gravity” route and looking at September/October/November as fertile, relatively competition-free landing grounds for their bigger titles.
Which is not to say the next few months are without their classic blockbuster charms:  “Transformers: Age of Extinction” arrives later this month, which shoots as straight down-the-line of the classic summer film template as it is possible to imagine, while July will bring us “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” and in August “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “The Expendables 3” and “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” will all be vying for your dollar. We’ll have to wait and see how they’ll stack up against each other, let alone whether any of them will vie for a place on the hard-won, hard-fought, blood-feud inducing all-time greats list below.

Blind Item: Two Book Bitches

Two women at different stages of their career, both were recently promoting books, both behaved like assholes.

She was the young blush of her time, muse to an icon, dream girl to a generation. So it wasn’t a surprise when over 200 people showed up to a book signing. Here’s what *should* happen at a book signing: you stay and sign books. Many bestselling authors stay as long as they can, for hours, making sure they have a personal interaction with each and every reader, often posing for photos. Even Gwyneth Paltrow understands this. Sometimes it’s impossible. Like JK Rowling often has 3 or 4 thousand people showing up so what she’ll do is she’ll sign hundreds of boxes in advance and on the day of, she’ll commit to a couple of hours, sometimes more, to hang out with as many of her fans as possible.

The Kiss that Changed Video Games

The 1999 Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, a video-game conference held in Los Angeles, California, was a typically lavish, if bawdy, affair. Here, for three days, the world’s video-game publishers gathered to show off their forthcoming titles to press and to purchasers in an overstimulating marketing circus. David Bowie performed at one of the conference’s orbiting parties that week, and Bill Goldberg and some other glistening-skinned wrestlers grappled one another in a custom-built ring on the publisher E.A.’s gargantuan booth. Away from the action of its main stage, E.A. had stationed a humble area advertising The Sims, an ambitious social-simulation project that almost nobody outside of its development team believed in.

For E.A., The Sims, the latest from Will Wright, the celebrated designer of 1989’s city-planning game SimCity, was a legacy project, inherited when the company purchased its development studio, Maxis. The game had been in stammering development since 1993, when Wright first had the idea for a simulation that would model human behavior, not from the bird’s-eye viewpoint of his earlier game but from the ground zero of domesticity. But replicating the mundane dramas of the living room in game form had proven to be a tall challenge: The Sims was almost abandoned numerous times. “We all knew that if we couldn’t generate any interest at E3 that year, then the game would be cancelled for good,” Patrick J. Barrett III, one of the game’s programmers, told me. “E.A. did nothing to help us. They hid us away. The game wasn’t even displayed on the large screen with the other title’s trailers.” But, within hours, an unplanned, illicit kiss between two of the game’s background characters made The Sims the talk of the show.

Ariana Grande's brother Frankie to compete on new season of Big Brother

Ariana Grande is used to paparazzi following her every move, but now her half brother Frankie is the one who will have cameras on him 24 hours a day as a contestant on the new season of Big Brother.

"I've always said I was funny and I should have my own reality show," Frankie, 31, tells PEOPLE of what inspired him to audition for the CBS reality competition's 16th season. "And then I thought, 'Maybe I should be on somebody else's show!' "

While he initially auditioned for Survivor, a chance meeting with a Big Brother casting director led to Frankie becoming one of the 16 contestants competing for a $500,000 prize this summer.

Big Brother has had cast members with notable relatives in the past – former Survivor super-villain Russell Hantz's brother Willie and Big Brother season 13 winner Rachel Reilly's sister, Elissa Slater, both competed in previous seasons – but Frankie is actually more worried about being recognized as a YouTube personality than as a Grande.

JLo on Wendy!

Jennifer Lopez doesn't claim to have all the answers. In fact, she's searching for guidance just like any regular person who didn't just perform at the World Cup or has a body envied by millions.

"I'm a big soul searcher and I read a lot of, like, self-help books, you know what I mean," the pop superstar divulged in an interview airing Thursday on The Wendy Williams Show.
"I am always kinda searching for answers. I'll randomly just open a Bible looking for answers and guidance."

Might she be seeking relationship advice? Or the kind of life lessons that come in handy after a breakup?
For starters, J.Lo indicated that she and Casper Smart have been broken up for longer than it seems, considering he was her date to the Billboard Music Awards exactly a month ago, on May 18.

Asked by the ever-blunt Williams if she was single, as in "not intimate with anybody at this time," Lopez replied, "Yes, I've been single for a couple of months."
Acknowledging that she doesn't really have a type, per se, as far as a guy's physical attributes when it comes to a potential love interest, the 44-year-old thrice-divorced mother of two said, "I don't look at the outside so much. I'm not an outside-cover person, I am more of, like, an essence of person."
Sounds like an estimable value that can't be taught in any book.

Meanwhile, Williams had a ready suggestion in case Lopez is looking to rebound ASAP.
"I always just picture you having a little something something going on with Pitbull at some point in your life," she told J.Lo, at which the Out of Sight star laughed.
"He is like a brother to me," Lopez insisted about her frequent partner in performance, including last week at the World Cup opening ceremony in Brazil. "He is Mr. Worldwide, he got no time for me. He's [got] a lot going on."

Surely there's always room for J.Lo!

Alicia Vikander lands lead roles in The Danish Girl (Hooper, Redmayne) & The Light Between Oceans

The actress is expected to shoot both prestige projects back-to-back this fall.

Swedish actress Alicia Vikander is in negotiations to play the female lead in Derek Cianfrance's “The Light Between Oceans” and Tom Hooper's “The Danish Girl,” an individual familiar with both prestige projects told TheWrap.

In “The Light Between Oceans,” Vikander would star opposite Michael Fassbender in the post-WWI tale of a young married couple who operate a lighthouse on a remote island off the coast of Australia. When their inability to have a child coincides with the arrival of a boat carrying a dead man and a live infant, they take in the child and raise her as their own, leading to tragic consequences.

“The Danish Girl” stars Eddie Redmayne as artist Einar Wegener, who became one of the first men to undergo operations to become a women. It's based on the book of the same name by David Ebershoff. Vikander is nearing a deal to play Wegener's wife, Greta, who becomes an overnight artistic sensation for her paintings of Einar in drag, and who ultimately stands by him through the changes in his life.

Katheryn Joins in the Bleached Eyebrows Craze

Eyebrow bleaching is one of the latest in questionable beauty trends.

And Katy Perry has regrettably jumped on the bandwagon, following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus in the bizarre procedure that sees brows practically disappear.

The 29-year-old pop star debuted her new look in an Instagram post on Thursday.

'BAUSS BISH BB,' was the equally confusing caption the Roar singer wrote alongside the image, in which she floats her hand over her lips in a cheeky manner.

Are you for or against eyebrow bleaching?

Juan Carlos officially abdicates, Spain gets a new (hotter) king

Felipe VI was sworn in Thursday as Spain's new king, bringing a fresh face to the Spanish monarchy at a time when its popularity ratings have hit historic lows.

The 46-year-old monarch took an oath and was then proclaimed king, without a formal coronation, during a special joint session of Spain's parliament. No foreign royals or heads of state were invited.

"I have great hope for the future of Spain ... a nation whose destiny has been intertwined with my destiny since I was born," Felipe told those assembled, citing the "deep emotion" he felt. His voice broke occasionally during an address that lasted 25 minutes.

He spoke of a "united and diverse" Spain, an acknowledgment of the regional identities that have riven parts of the country, and closed by saying "thank you" in four regional languages: Castilian Spanish, Catalan, Basque and Galician. He urged lawmakers to act for the good of the Spanish people, who have been hit with massive unemployment and economic hardship during Europe's debt crisis.

Legendary Songwriter Gerry Goffin dead at 75

NEW YORK — Gerry Goffin, a prolific and multi-dimensional lyricist who with his then-wife and songwriting partner Carole King wrote such hits as "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," ''(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," ''Up on the Roof" and "The Loco-Motion," died early Thursday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 75.

His wife, Michelle Goffin, confirmed his death.

Goffin, who married King in 1959, penned more than 50 top 40 hits, including "Pleasant Valley Sunday" for the Monkees, "Crying in the Rain" by the Everly Brothers, "Some Kind of Wonderful" for the Drifters and "Take Good Care of My Baby" by Bobby Vee. Goffin was able to pen jokey lyrics or achingly sad ones, and he did it for solo artists and multiple voices.

Louise Goffin, one of his daughters, said her dad "wore his heart on his sleeve, and I am deeply blessed to have had a father who could so easily make the world laugh and cry with just a spiral notebook and a pen."

King and Goffin divorced in 1968, but Goffin kept writing hits, including "Savin' All My Love for You" for Whitney Houston. Goffin and King were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three years later.

King said in a statement that Goffin was her "first love" and had a "profound impact" on her life.

"Gerry was a good man with a dynamic force, whose words and creative influence will resonate for generations to come," King said. "His words expressed what so many people were feeling but didn't know how to say."

Better Call Saul, the spinoff featuring everybody's favorite slightly sketchy New Mexico lawyer Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) has been renewed for season two, but we're going to have to wait a little longer to even see season one. While announcing season two, AMC pushed the series premiere to early 2015.

In some more excellent news, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, who directed the Better Call Saul pilot, has signed on as co-showrunner, along with Peter Gould, who originally co-created the Saul Goodman character.

The first season will consist of 10 episodes, and AMC has ordered 13 episodes for season two, which will premiere in early 2016.

The voice of New York, Angie Martinez, leaves Hot 97 for rival station Power 105.1

Angie Martinez is moving across town and up the radio dial from Hot 97 to Power 105.1, giving Power the biggest score yet in the city's long-running hip-hop radio wars.

For more than 15 years Martinez's 3-7 p.m. show has helped define Hot 97 (WQHT, 97.1 FM) as America's most influential hip-hop station.

Now, in a switch that was both surprising and swift, she'll be doing the afternoon show at Power (WWPR, 105.1 FM).

Power's parent Clear Channel made the official announcement Thursday morning, less than 24 hours after Martinez said she would be leaving Hot.

Sports stars beware: It's the curse of Kate Upton

What’s wrong with Justin Verlander?

The most frequent explanations for the sudden woes of the Detroit Tigers ace this season concern his declining fastball velocity or a possible undiagnosed physical ailment.

But what if the problem has nothing to do with his right arm and everything to do with the buxom blonde on his arm?

If Verlander has been jinxed — or distracted, more likely — into the worst stretch of his career by girlfriend Kate Upton, it would not be the first time an athlete had encountered a major slump around the time he was romantically linked with the swimsuit pin-up.

Call it the Kate Upton Effect. In addition to Verlander, the supermodel’s “victims” may include former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and NBA All-Star Blake Griffin. Let’s lay out the numbers, as we know them, for the most curvaceous curse in sports.

Adam Richman from Man vs. Food "called me 'a c*nt'" and "told my friend to 'kill herself'"

So, most of you are probably familiar with Adam Richman, the dude from Man Vs. Food, a show on the Travel Channel. (the general gist is he goes on ~eating challenges~ across the country and eats vomit-inducing portions at local restaurants. That’s it. There’s no real redeeming factor here.) I’ve never liked Adam, he’s always given off a super entitled vibe and I’ve heard many stories about people going to meet him and him locking himself in his production van or ignoring fans.

He was a chubby dude the whole time the show was going on, but recently he’s lost a bunch of weight. D-list celebrities losing a lot of weight isn’t really a big story–being famous means there’s a lot of pressure to look a certain way. If that’s what he wanted, if it makes him feel better, good for him. I’m all for body autonomy and what another person chooses to do with their body isn’t any of my business. However, it was brought to my attention that he posted this photo:

January Jones Deletes Instagram Pic Featuring Tribal Adolescents As Photo Is Branded As Racist

However, the Mad Men star has now replaced it with a picture of her standing by herself in a knit sweater, explaining: 'I had to swap my #tbt pics because I was receiving to (sic) many negative comments and assumptions.'

She added: 'This forum should be a happy and fun place i have no patience for hate' preceded by a hashtag.

Adriana Lima returns to Maybelline

She’s the longest-serving Victoria’s Secret Angel, has the world’s largest social media footprint of any fashion model, and basically brings us out in fit of ‘I wish I looked like t-h-a-a-t!’ every time we see her. So it’s no wonder that Maybelline have signed Adriana Lima to return as spokesperson.

Having previously represented the brand from 2003-2009, the Brazilian beauty will again be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Christy Turlington and Jourdan Dunn as a Maybelline girl – and she couldn’t be happier. ‘It’s wonderful to be part of the brand again,’ she said. ‘The imagery is always beautiful and positive, which is what I admire most about the brand. To be part of that again is a dream come true!’

Watch out for her on a billboard or ad break near you this summer. Fits of envy, guaranteed…

Yeezus of House West, "People only bash me and Kim because they don't understand us"

Kanye West has said people just “don’t understand” him and wife Kim Kardashian and bemoaned getting “bashed”.

He was speaking at the Cannes Lions communications and advertising festival in France on Tuesday.

The rapper claimed the couple's much-derided Vogue cover has improved their standing but that it only came after “two years of people not understanding an interracial relationship”.

Kanye said he had recently taken a “bashing” for the notorious "Bound 2" video, where Kim is seen straddling him topless as he rides a motorbike against a CGI background.

He added: “I always say that if Vogue had come out before the "Bound" video then everyone would have been like, “Oh it’s OK” and that’s the endorsement.
“It took something established like Vogue to make everything OK and we had to wait. Like we had the wedding and then they were like ‘that’s cool now’ because we were told by people who endorsed it.”

The couple hired a 16th Century fort in Florence for their two-day nuptials in May.

Kanye, 37, continued: “You have to be able to take the lashes when people don’t understand.
"Two years of people not understanding an interracial relationship, two years of people not understanding the idea of the art world meets the pop world, you have to take the lash and be able to swim in the backlash."

Because it's a day ending in Y, here's a trailer for Kevin Hart's new movie (no, the other one)

You’ve found the love of your life. She’s agreed to marry you. Now you just have to decide who’s going to be in your wedding party. That’s the easy part, right?

For Josh Gad’s Doug Harris, it’s not going well. So as a last-ditch effort, he enlists the services of Best Man Inc. As Kevin Hart’s Jimmy explains, he “provides Best Man services for guys who lack in such areas.” And, as Lt. Aldo Raine might say (albeit in a very different context), business is a-boomin. But things start to spiral out of control in The Wedding Ringer when Doug asks Jimmy to assemble seven groomsmen as well.

Check out the first trailer for the buddy-for-hire comedy after the jump.

The Wedding Ringer also stars Kaley Cuoco and Jorge Garcia. It hits theaters on Jan. 16.

hip hop's true power couple tops summer ticket prices

Rap and hip-hop fans across North America will rejoice tomorrow when tickets for the Drake vs Lil Wayne Tour go on sale to the general public. The two larger-than-life rappers will take the stage across 31 cities in just over seven weeks from August-September for the Drake vs Lil Wayne tour. Set to release two new albums later this year, Lil Wayne will embark on the most expensive hip-hop tour of the summer with Young Money partner Drake, who has put together an extensive list of Billboard hits since exploding on the scene with his song “Best I Ever Had” in 2009. While hip-hop heavyweights Eminem and Rihanna are set to kick off their Monster Tour in August and power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé begin their On the Run Tour later this month, Drake vs Lil Wayne tickets face little competition in secondary ticket price as they hold the highest average price among all major hip-hop tours this summer, according to TiqIQ.
