'Fargo' Season Review: Why It's One of the Year's Best Dramas

One of the many, many reasons I absolutely loved Fargo — the FX drama that builds upon the 1996 Coen Brothers movie of the same name — is that it’s filled with allegories and digressions and asides that may or may not mean something, but they always make you think. (More on that later.) So in the spirit of the show, let’s start with one of my own — or rather, one that, like this show, builds upon somebody else’s.

PLEASE if you did not watch this show go watch it immediately. Best new show, way better than True Detective (which I also loved), etc. Also Allison Tolman is perfect that is all.

Taylor Swift has been writing personal, inspiring, sometimes hilarious comments all over instagram

It’s the modern-day version of a fan letter — celebrities these days are inundated with “please follow” requests on Twitter, as well as a plea to reply to fans on social media. Sometimes, fans are rewarded for effort: Stars will occasionally retweet or “favorite” a tweet, or even “like” a Facebook photo. But these celebs have millions of followers, so it’s very rare.

That’s why it’s become such a big deal when, over the last few months, pop superstar Taylor Swift has gone above and beyond: She’s started writing some very personal, inspiring, sometimes hilarious comments in response to fans that tag her in photos on Instagram.

Almost immediately, people started posting screengrabs across Twitter and Tumblr to prove that Swift wrote back to them.

We’ll give Swift credit — it’s a smart move to further endear yourself to your fans, and her fanbase is one that we didn’t think could be any more obsessed with their idol. For someone who gets tagged in thousands of random photos, she responds to posts of all types. (Her rep confirmed to us that she does in fact run her own Instagram account.)

Guillermo Ochoa memes sweep the internet after Mexico goalkeeper thwarts Brazil

After a sensational performance to deny Brazil, Mexico’s Guillermo Ochoa became the new World Cup darling of the internet.

The 28-year-old produced stunning save after stunning save to earn his country a 0-0 draw, and as is the norm these days following a spectacular showing, memes swept across cyber space at breakneck speed.

Ochoa, who is incredibly a free agent as of July 1, was mocked up as everyone from Superman to Lord of the Rings’ Gandalf.

Donald Trump says ICON Jennifer López & Beauty Queen Kim Kardashian have 'bad bodies'.

Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez are known for being gorgeous, curvy women. They’re adored by men around the world! But the always-outspoken Donald Trump admits he’s NOT a fan of either of these two beautiful women in a shocking new interview.

Donald Trump, 68, is never afraid to speak his mind — even if that means offending a few people in the process. The Apprentice host, millionaire businessman and husband of former model Melania Trump opened up about why he’s not attracted to 33-year-old Kim Kardashian and 44-year-old Jennifer Lopez, even talking about “a bad body” at one point. Ouch!

Huh? Donald reveals in a new interview that he’s SO not into Kim or JLo’s, um — butts. When asked if he thinks Kim’s butt is too big, Donald was blunt. “Well, absolutely! It’s record setting. In the old days, they’d say she’s got a bad body,” he spilled to the Howard Stern Show on June 17. Wow. He’s no fan of JLo’s booty, either. When Howard asked Donald if he prefers Kim or JLo, he said neither! “I would pass on both,” he boldy declared.

Scooby Doo is getting a new live-action reboot

There was once a time when Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Linda Cardellini were deemed the right fit for a "Scooby-Doo" live action reboot. The results were actually pretty good (financially anyway), with the movie taking over $275 million worldwide. But by the time "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" came around, audience interest had cooled, and the sequel committed the cardinal sin of earning less than its predecessor. And thus a movie franchise was dead. At least until now.

Warner Bros.—barely a week after Casey Kasem, the original voice of Shaggy, is in the ground—have announced a new live action reboot of "Scooby-Doo." Randall Green will be tasked with writing the script that makes Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and Velma interesting for a generation who have no context of what a Mystery Machine is or what it does. But perhaps that's the key because they can (hopefully) have a little fun with a format and characters that are somewhat dated, even as strong as they continue to resonate for those that grew up with them.

Real Housewives of New York City's Aviva Drescher Opens Her "Bag of Crazy"

The drama never stops on The Real Housewives of New York City. This week, Aviva Drescher steps into the spotlight again, and Us Weekly has an exclusive clip of the new episode, airing Tuesday evening, June 17.

In the video, Drescher sits down with her fellow RHONY stars, series alum Ramona Singer and season six newcomer Kristen Taekman.

The clip opens with Singer sporting the wide-eyed shocked look many viewers exhibit when watching the show, as Drescher hits out at Taekman.

"Do you believe this?" Drescher says to Singer about Taekman questioning why she didn't accept her offer to join the women on a trip to Montana.

Drescher cited health reasons as her need to decline, which Taekman didn't buy. "This woman is sitting here, saying that I'm making this s--t up," Drescher spat. "That's a hell of an accusation, ma'am."

"Aviva, I still think it's crazy that like, you're totally fine and your health is perfect, and I invite you to Montana, and you can't go because you've got asthma all of a sudden."

As Singer points out that the timing of Drescher's health problems is "a weird coincidence," Drescher proceeds to open up her "bag of crazy," tossing prescriptions at Taekman as evidence of her struggles.

Aviva has reached Kelly levels of crazy. She even said "that's creepy" last night.

Teaser image of a dinosaur in Jurassic World

Director Colin Trevorrow took to Twitter to tease a look at a Jurassic World dinosaur and you can see the image below.

“Nights” is a nice way to describe the silhouette the light puts on a massive dino jaw with pretty rigid, sharp teeth. Could this be the new, evil dinosaur we’ve been hearing so much about? Here’s how Trevorrow described it to us:

Yes, there will be one new dinosaur created by the park’s geneticists. The gaps in her sequence were filled with DNA from other species, much like the genome in the first film was completed with frog DNA. This creation exists to fulfill a corporate mandate—they want something bigger, louder, with more teeth. And that’s what they get.

I know the idea of a modified dinosaur put a lot of fans on red alert, and I understand it. But we aren’t doing anything here that Crichton didn’t suggest in his novels. This animal is not a mutant freak. It doesn’t have a snake’s head or octopus tentacles. It’s a dinosaur, created in the same way the others were, but now the genetics have gone to the next level. For me, it’s a natural evolution of the technology introduced in the first film. Maybe it sounds crazy, but most of my favorite movies sound crazy when you describe them in a single sentence.

twitter now supports GIFs

GIFs have finally come to Twitter. On Twitter's website as well as its iOS and Android apps, you'll be able to watch a GIF in your timeline by clicking a play button that shows up over top of them. GIFs won't animate automatically, likely to prevent you from downloading large files that you don't need. Opening up a tweet on its own will, however, immediately begin playing the GIF.

Support for GIFs has been a highly requested feature, and adding it in makes reading through a Twitter feed much simpler, as you won't have to open up a new window every time you want to view one. Notably, Facebook has adamantly refused to add support for GIFs, seemingly over concerns of how it would make its News Feed look. They may not all be beautiful, but Twitter seems to get that they're all fun.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley Opening July 8 at Universal Orlando

After months of rumor and speculation, we finally have an official Diagon Alley opening date. The new Wizarding World of Harry Potter attractions at Universal Orlando will formally open to the public on July 8, 2014.

The date is later in the summer than many fans speculated, and those who had booked travel for later this month may be scrambling to change their reservations. Keep in mind that purchasers of special Universal Vacations packages are guaranteed admission to Diagon Alley during the morning starting June 29, and the area should also “soft open” to day guests at some time before the official opening.

I got a peek inside Diagon Alley this morning while interviewing hosts of the Today Show, and the scenic design is just as stunning as the concept art suggests. I’ll have more details on the area and its signature Gringotts bank coaster after the red carpet media events tonight and tomorrow morning.

Keep following @skubersky on Twitter for the latest updates on Diagon Alley.

Power of Strong Supporting Roles: Christina Hendricks, Aaron Paul, Allison Williams

Actors dream of landing that one role that ignites a career. And in rare instances, the magic of being in the right supporting role on the right show at the right time can propel a player who’s the second (or third) banana into full-fledged stardom, the kind that inspires Internet parodies, Halloween costumes and social-media shrines.

Such was the case for three actors who rocketed from virtual obscurity to become likely contenders in this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards derby. Christina Hendricks made Joan a force to be reckoned with during the pilot shoot for “Mad Men.” Aaron Paul saved the life of Jesse Pinkman by virtue of how compelling he was in the skin of the tortured soul on “Breaking Bad.” And with her first TV role, Allison Williams found her life changed as millions of viewers came to love (or love to hate) her as spoiled twentysomething Marnie on “Girls.”

Goopy & Chris Coldplay May Be Consciously RE-Coupling!

Since announcing their separation in March, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have been spotted together more than ever.

So is a reconciliation in the works for the couple?

"They haven't made any concrete decision to get back together yet, but clearly it's a possibility," a friend of the couple tells PEOPLE. "At this point, some of the pressure was just taken off them – pressure they put on themselves to 'make it work.' "

Though Martin, 37, spent a few weeks living in Malibu after the split, he's since moved back to the Brentwood home he shared with Paltrow, 41, and their two kids, Apple, 10, and Moses, 8, when he's not touring with Coldplay.

"They have spent more time together than they did when they were a couple," says another source. "When they are out together, all they do is laugh and act flirty and playful."

And though it's yet to be seen if the duo – who were married for 10 years – officially recouple, friends say the two will always have something in common: their dedication to their kids.

"Gwyneth didn't want to end the marriage and is happy that she and Chris still have a close relationship," says an insider close to the family. "He's been a great father and that has helped keep the flame alive."

Adds the friend: "They clearly love each other and always will, and if the romance comes back, they'll go with it if it feels right."

Bless this news. Divorce is for the weak and poor who are unwilling to invest the time and millions of dollars in hypnotherapy necessary to convince yourself that your floundering marriage is nothing more than a tax break and a publicity tool for upcoming projects. I am just so pleased that we no longer run the risk of Apple and Moses visiting their father on the weekends and being introduced to gluten via an unvetted nanny, or worse yet, Rihanna.

Disney Is Doing What You Would Expect It to Do to 'Into The Woods'

Disney is neutering Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods in predictably Disney ways. At first glance Sondheim's musical about storybook characters is cheery, but then you get into the dark second act, which features adultery and plenty of death. Just not necessarily in the Disney version.

In a Talk of the Town piece in this week's New Yorker, Sondheim himself revealed the changes, when talking to a group of drama teachers who had been putting on Sondheim's shows even in the face of administrational backlash. Sondheim said—via Playbill.com—that [Spoiler (click to open)]"you will find in the movie that Rapunzel does not get killed, and the prince does not sleep with the baker's wife." He added that the song "Any Moment," in which Cinderella's prince seduces the baker's wife, is "probably cut."

When a teacher posed that a school administration objected to Into the Woods because of the "infidelity, a wolf being lascivious, that the whole connection with Red Riding Hood is sexual," Sondheim said that "Disney had the same objections."

These plot changes also raise questions about other elements of the show, including a big turn for the Witch played in the film by Meryl Streep, who [Spoiler (click to open)]after learning of Rapunzel's death sings her "Lament." What, if anything, will she be lamenting now? Though Disney looks to be aiming for Oscar with this one—the movie opens on Christmas—the studio also appears to be frustratingly taking the edge out of the show, which—despite Sondheim's great songs—can feel trite without the weight of the second act's horrors.

This is what happens when Taylor and Rihanna respond to fans on Instagram

There are two kinds of celebrity social-media accounts: the engaged celebrity and the assisted celebrity. Most famous accounts fall under the latter category, with hired help doing all the tweeting, Facebook-ing, and Instagramming for them. And, on the rare occasion a celeb feels the need to share an authentic thought, they'll sign off with their initials (Britney Spears and President Obama are known to do this).

The engaged celebrity, however, is rare. Their personality is embedded in every word and image (or, at least the personality they put forth to their public). For example: Before Rihanna buried @badgalriri, she would occasionally reply to users who tagged her in posts. Taylor Swift has begun to do the same, and super-fans have noticed.

One such fan over at the The Washington Post published an article today revealing the endearing and predictably cute messages Taylor Swift leaves for fans. On the other end of the spectrum is the late Insta-star Rihanna, whose replies were, well, very un-Swift-like. Together, the pair represent the two types of engaged celebrities: the sincere and the sarcastic. We'll leave you to decide who's who.

First Images of Chris Evans in "A Many-Splintered Thing"

Chris Evans might be serious about getting out of the acting game, but he's still got plenty of movies left in him before he departs. "The story of a young man disillusioned by love who meets a breathtaking young woman at a charity dinner by pretending to be a philanthropist. Selena Gomez very cooperative with authorities following noise complaint

sel 3

Selena Gomez had unexpected guests during a get-together at her Los Angeles area home last night: the police.
E! News can confirm that authorities were called to the singer's house after they received a noise complaint.
Deputies arrived at Gomez's pad around 10:30 p.m. where individuals were "very cooperative" during the visit.

We're also told that music was then turned down and it "was a non-event."

And just this morning, the "Come & Get It" singer posted a snapshot from last night's gathering on Instagram.

"Tacos, live music and candles…such a beautiful night with beautiful people," she wrote as a caption.

The black-and-white photo has a bird's eye view of a living room setting showing several people playing instruments—including one person playing on a white piano—with about five others sitting on the floor and watching.

Seems like a low-key evening, right?!
A source tells us that around 20 people were at Gomez's home in total and that it was "not a rager."
"The music may have gotten a little too loud because it was two guys performing and there were speakers, but it definitely wasn't some out of control party."

Meryl Streep Will Play Maria Callas In “Master Class” Movie. Because Of Course.

Meryl Streep will star as tragic opera diva Maria Callas in the upcoming HBO adaptation of Terrence McNally’s Master Class. The New York Post reports that Mike Nichols will helm the telefilm, which starts filming in January 2015.

Master Class, which won the 1996 Tony Awards for Best Play, Best Actress (Zoe Caldwell as Callas) and Best Featured Actress (Audra McDonald as a student singer), recounts various moments in the bombastic Greek diva’s life, including her younger years as an ugly duckling, professional rivalries and her affair with Ari Onassis, who gilted her to marry Jackie Kennedy in 1968.

Most recently, Tyne Daly starred as Calals in a 2011 Broadway revival of Master Class.

Streep’s been the go-to actress for adaptations of everything from Angels in America to the upcoming film version of Into the Woods, and has won acclaim for playing real-life personalities like Karen Silkwood, Margaret Thatcher, Julia Child and a thinly veiled Carrie Fisher in Postcards From the Edge.

Is there anything they won’t sign Streep for? We hear there’s a Point Break remake in the works.

There’s a theater producer in London who thinks that Lindsay Lohan, LINDSAY LOHAN, can memorize lines (I said “memorize” not “snort“) from a David Mamet play and show up on time for 8 performances a week including matinees which happen before her usual risin’ time of 4pm. This must be a serious insurance scam ala The Producers, because Lindsay Lohan doing live theater has all the makings of a train wreck and the only people who will pay to see that are people who love it when a play starts 4 hours late and people who really want to see her read lines written on the props because she didn’t memorize shit.

Since most of Hollywood cares about their nerves too much to deal with LiLo, she took her ass to London to troll for new work and her trolling paid off. LiLo sat front row at Jeremy Scott’s Moschino show in London yesterday and she told The New York Times that she’s in London to play Karen in a West End revival of David Mamet’s Speed-The-Plow. Madonna played Karen in the first production of Speed-The-Plow on Broadway in 1988 and Jeremy Piven’s douche ass left a Broadway production of it in 2008 when he ate too much sushi. And now LiLo’s going to be in it:

Ms. Lohan said that she has been in London for several months, preparing for a potential appearance in David Mamet’s “Speed-the-Plow” in the West End in November. “It’s the first time I’ve done a stage play or anything like that,” she said. “I’m nervous but I’m excited.”

None of that makes sense. Are we sure LiLo heard, right? Are we sure she heard someone actually ask her if she wants to be in Speed-the-Plow? Maybe she heard wrong and she was really asked, “Hey, do you want to get plowed for some speed?” If this is true, this is going to the mess of all messes and they should put the understudy’s name above LiLo’s on the marquee since she’s going to perform more.

A breakup, a reunion and a possible pregnancy all in one episode? Needless to say, we had a million questions after last night’s Awkward midseason finale.

Let’s begin, shall we?

Leo is concerned for the Great Barrier Reef

LEONARDO DiCaprio, star of The Great Gatsby, says concerns about Australia’s Great Barrier Reef have raised his environmental awareness.

“Since my very first dive in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia 20 years ago, to the dive I got to do in the very same location just two years ago, I’ve witnessed environmental devastation first-hand,” DiCaprio said.

“What once had looked like an endless underwater utopia is now riddled with bleached coral reefs and massive dead zones.” DiCaprio appeared at the Our Ocean Conference in Washington DC where a video message from President Barack Obama was played. US Secretary of State John Kerry also attended.

Sherlock kiss

Come here, Tumblr, and hand me that big bottle of salted tears

Has alientastic smoothvoiced Sir Benedict Cumberbatch, lord of all the scaly things, found himself a stable partner?

According to Rebecca Eaton (Masterpiece Theatre boss and executive producer on Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Miss Marple, etc.), it's a YES:

Eaton, who spoke as part of a panel along with New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, said her core audience of 60-something women loves shows about love lost.

That might also explain her other job: helping British hottie Benedict Cumberbatch find a new love interest. She wouldn’t say whom the “Sherlock” actor has met, but she said it’s time for all those “Cumberbitches” — the name used by his huge base of female followers — to move on.

Sony Launches Fifth Harmony Licensing

Sony Music Entertainment is gearing up for a major licensing initiative for the "The X-Factor's" female super group Fifth Harmony. According to Mathew Vlasic, vice president, Sony Music Entertainment, the Fifth Harmony retail and merchandising program will launch this summer and fall with Wet Seal and Mattel.

"Wet Seal will carry a Fifth Harmony collection curated by Ally, Dinah, Lauren, Normani and Camila of Fifth Harmony," says Vlasic. "The collection will consist of three styles based on each girl's personal fashion sense as well as graphic tees, jewelry and accessories."

Vlasic says that Wet Seal will support the line with a variety of marketing efforts. A second collection, which will include denim and wovens, is also being planned.

"We could not be more excited about this program and especially the limited edition collection of merchandise. The Fifth Harmony girls have been amazing to work with and truly represent the Wet Seal customer and all of their various styles and backgrounds," says John Goodman, chief executive officer, Wet Seal.

In partnership with Mattel, Fifth Harmony recorded the new Barbie anthem, "With Barbie, Anything is Possible," earlier this year. Mattel will also debut a full-length Barbie music video featuring Fifth Harmony and a Barbie doll collection that includes five dolls created in the likeness of each member. The dolls will hit retail in the U.S. in time for the holiday season, and expand worldwide in early spring 2015.

"Working with Sony Music on the Fifth Harmony and Barbie partnership has been incredibly seamless," says Holly Stein, vice president licensing acquisitions and business development, Mattel. "We have been able to connect the dots between the music, merchandising, publicity and appearances in a way that works for both organizations. Having alignment from the beginning has greatly benefited all aspects of the partnership."
Vlasic says Sony Music has signed licensing agreements with several licensees including JCorp (apparel), Accessory Innovations (accessories), Brown Trout (posters) and Sky High (back-to-school).

Simon Cowell, creator and judge of "The X-Factor" brought together Fifth Harmony, which is comprised of five female singers–Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei and Camila Cabello. The group's debut EP "Better Together" was released last October and hit No. 2 on iTunes. Fifth Harmony has appeared on numerous TV shows and has become popular on social media with more than 135 million YouTube views, 4 million Twitter followers and 3 million Facebook likes in the Q1 2014.

"Batman v Superman v Wonder Woman v Aquaman v Cyborg v Mark Zuckerberg" could move to April 2016

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 crossed $700 million at the worldwide box office last week. When all is said and done, the Sony sequel may surpass the $710m earned by Captain America: The Winter Soldier, yet the earlier picture will surely be the unofficial winner in said unofficial battle of superhero sequels. Fair or not, a token part of the overall feeling of “disappointment” regarding the Spidey sequel is that Captain America 2 opened earlier and over-performed. It continued a long pattern of the “summer kick-off film” periodically snatching the spotlight away from the presumptive summer champion. Sony should remember the game, because Spider-Man did the same thing to Star Wars 12 years ago. As Warner Bros. (Time Warner, Inc.) and Walt Disney continue their DC/Marvel chess game in May 2016, Warner has an opportunity, if they so choose, to solve a problem by striking a similar blow with their Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman/others team-up sequel.

'Million Dollar Listing New York' Reunion: Fredrik Goes on the Defensive

Bravo's first-ever Million Dollar Listing New York reunion finds Fredrik Eklund on the defensive.

The real estate agent gets grilled by castmates Luis D. Ortiz and Ryan Serhant during the special, hosted by Andy Cohen.

While previous Million Dollar Listing casts have appeared on Watch What Happens Live to discuss the season after the finale aired, this marks the first time in the history of the franchise that a cast has taken part in a reunion special taping similar to other Bravo reality shows, like the Real Housewives franchise.

Other highlights from the special include:

-- Fredrik says that Ryan made the least amount of sales this season and that his sky garage listing is wildly overpriced.

-- Fredrik says Luis is stubborn and not willing to accept help from a more successful broker -- that being Fredrik, who offered a spot on his team to Luis, who declined.

-- Fredrik and his husband, Derek, get emotional over the latter not thinking they are ready to have a child together because he's afraid Fredrik's work lifestyle won't change.

Part one of the two-part reunion airs at 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, while part two airs at 8 p.m. the following Wednesday, June 25.

Lena Headey talks about Cersei Lannister's arc in GOT Season 5

The finale was huge for your character. We see her finally confess to Tywin that she’s in love with her brother, Jaime, and that his legacy is screwed.

I’ve known Charles [Dance] for a long, long time, and he’s pretty formidable. He’s a pussycat off-screen, but he’s ferocious as Tywin. There’s always that strange feeling when you know someone and you’ve spent a lot of time together, and a part of you is thinking, “Shit, this is it. It’s the last time I’m going to get to look in your eyes and do what we do.” It’s kind of weird. But I love that Cersei has that moment of, “Oh, fuck it. My kid’s fucking dead and you’re a shit, so I’m going to tell you how it is.”

Cersei, for all her ruthless scheming, has gotten a really raw deal. She’s constantly diminished by Tywin and treated like a second-class citizen.

He is, without a doubt, the shittest Dad in the world. All she’s wanted to do is sit with him and have him tell her she’s doing great, and he loves her, but she’s given up on that. As a child, you never stop wanting to be validated by your parents—especially with a daughter to a father—and that’s why she has problems with her brothers, because she thinks, “If I were a guy, this would be easier.” But she has a lot to contend with, Cersei.

New comic Wednesday ft The Wicked + The Divine

David Bowie once said “I always had the repulsive need to be something more than human.” It's this idea, of pop stars as something more than human, as larger than life icons that drives Kieron Gillen's "The Wicked and the Divine." In Gillen's "poptimist" superhero exploration, 12 Gods return to Earth for a mere 2 years, reincarnated as teen pop idols. It's a simple premise, but it perfectly parallels the concept of superheroes and celebrities as our modern mythology.

TBH I thought that I was going to hate the book because of all the hype it was getting before it was actually released, but it really surprised me. IMO this is one of the best Image debuts in a while. What did y'all pick up today?

Aidy Bryant of 'SNL' explains the speedy creation of '(Do It On My) Twin Bed'

In a season of memorable SNL moments, it was surprisingly easy for EW’s staff to agree on a favorite: the ridiculously funny and all-too-real music video “(Do It On My) Twin Bed.” The standout short landed a spot on EW’s list of the 50 Best TV Scenes of the year, earning a prime slot at No. 14.

The December Digital Short was a season highlight, and not just because it was the first music video featuring all the women of SNL. Maybe it was the fact that we’ve all sort of been there and, well, done that. Or perhaps it’s due to the inclusion of the cast’s embarrassing yearbook photos, or Jimmy Fallon’s glorious rap breakdown. There was so much to love that we went straight to Aidy Bryant to chat about the conception of the song and whether she’s still rocking those seventh-grade overalls.

(iker) world cup

Zlatan Ibrahimovic finally makes it to the World Cup

When Sweden lost to Portugal in their UEFA World Cup qualifying playoff, Zlatan Ibrahimovic dismissed the planet's most popular event by saying, "One thing is for sure, a World Cup without me is nothing to watch." Since then, a bunch of famous Brazilians put together a video asking him to come to the World Cup and Zlatan hinted that he might change his summer plans and fulfill their wish.

While Zlatan visited Al Capone's prison cell at Alcatraz and toyed with the TMZ cameramen in Los Angeles, France fans put up a banner that read "Zlatan we miss you" at their first match in Brazil. And then, by the magic of Zlatan, he appeared.

With his son, PSG manager Laurent Blanc and chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Zlatan attended Chile's 2-0 win over a Spain team comprised of many of his old teammates at Barcelona. Perhaps this is why all of those ticketless Chilean fans charged into Maracana Stadium.

Anyway, Zlatan is officially at the World Cup. You have been warned.

Marvel Showcases Avengers: AoU And Ant-Man At CineEurope, Production Now Underway At Dover Castle

Disney's presentation then turned to Marvel Studios with president of production Kevin Feige in attendence and "armed with the first footage from Avengers: Age of Ultron." Sadly, The Hollywood Reporter didn't offer a description of footage shown, but did reiterate that writer/director Joss Whedon is "half way through a 100-day shoot" for the Marvel sequel. Despite reportedly skipping Age of Ultron set visits last week possibly to avoid inevitable Edgar Wright questions, "Feige also played sequences and an interview montage from Ant-Man, including contributions from Peyton Reed," who is course taking over directing duties after Wright's upexpected exit last month.

The Spain-based annual CineEurope convention, which major film studios use as a platform to showcase their upcoming big-screen releases, has been underway since Monday, but Disney's presentation was held today. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lucasfilm's Star Wars: Episode VII was first showcased with R2D2 strolling out onstage before a video message from director J.J. Abrams on the Abu Dahbi set was shown. "Abrams said he had just finished two weeks of shooting, and described it as a thrill to see the movie’s incoming cast act on set with the members of the original installments," says THR.

Before wrapping up with visuals from Cinderalla, Into the Woods, and Pixar's Inside Out, Disney also showed the CineEurope audience "extensive" footage from Guardians of the Galaxy that included the James Gunn-directed film's opening sequence. Anyhow, there likely won't be any descriptions of the Avengers: Age of Ultron footage, but San Diego Comic-Con is just a little over a month away (July 24-27), so we can at least expect all the goods and much more then.

How Do You Feel About Kanye of House West's 'Yeezus' One Year Later?

Kanye West has always pushed musical boundaries and achieved some pretty amazing results while doing so. His 2004 debut, Graduation helped buck the notion that only thug rappers could rise to the top, while 2008′s 808s & Heartbreak made it easier for MCs to fully express their emotions.

On June 18, 2013 Kanye offered up some more innovation in the form of his sixth solo LP Yeezus. The 10-track album was a sonic disruption to anything going on in rap at the time, and it certainly stood out from the other rap albums that were released on that day — shout to J. Cole, Mac Miller, Statik Selektah and Madlib.

Yeezus was championed by some and criticized by others, but sometimes you just need a little time to sit with the music. So we’re asking you, How do feel about Kanye West’s Yeezus one year after it’s release?

Lena Dunham's Boyfriend: "I'm Desperate For Kids!"; Reveals They Met on a Blind Date

Watch the Final ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Trailer sfjihskhjrgvkhjfdl

It’s less than a month until we return to an Earth that has been dramatically reshaped into a place that could soon be called a planet of the apes, and Fox has released one last big look at its latest chapter in the long-running saga. Half of this final Dawn of the Planet of the Apes trailer is all about brewing conflict and watching humanity further lose hold on the planet.

And then things just explode, and that war that Caesar talks about in his steadily-improving speech just explodes. A lot of the footage here is stuff we’ve seen before, but that’s OK; it’s good to save the best stuff for the final film. And Matt Reeves’ sequel to the surprise hit from 2011 looks like it firmly take the reins of the story in a way that could be very satisfying for Apes fans, indeed.
