Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Teaming on Movie for First Time Since ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have chosen to work on a film together for the first time in a decade, launching development on an untitled script that she has written.

It’s not yet clear who will act, produce or direct the project.
The duo have acted together on only one other film — 2005′s action comedy “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” which grossed nearly $500 million worldwide — but have remained busy in subsequent years.
Pitt won a best picture Oscar as a producer on “12 Years a Slave” through his Plan B production company this year and will be seen next in Sony’s World War II actioner “Fury,” opening in November. Plan B signed a first-look deal with New Regency earlier this year after departing from its longtime home of Paramount.
Jolie directed and produced the World War II drama “Unbroken,” which Universal will open on Christmas.
The couple have six children and have generally avoided working on movies at the same time.

i cannot believe Mr & Mrs Smith was 10 YEARS AGO!

Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Promo: Will Ezra Finally Reveal A's True Identity?

Ezra may have survived being shot in the Pretty Little Liars summer finale, but he’s not out of the woods — or even the hospital — just yet. A new promo for Season 5, premiering June 10 at 8/7c on ABC Family, finds Aria nursing her wounded ex-boyfriend back to health. Is he ready to start talking?

In addition to the Aria/Ezra drama, the new promo also features shots of Mona and Alison laying a flower on a grave (ominous much?), as well as a swarm of masked assailants surrounding the girls.

Just another season in Rosewood!

Hilary Duff Dodges Aaron Carter Question

Hilary Duff's lips are sealed when it comes to ex-boyfriend Aaron Carter. While he's been going on and on about how much he regrets his split from the Lizzie McGuire alum, she has yet to respond to his proclamations of love -- and it sounds like she has no plans to do so anytime soon.

Asked about Carter's recent romantic revelations while attending the iHeartRadio Music Awards at L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium on May 1, the newly separated singer-actress replied, "I don't have an answer to that." (She and the former teen idol dated for three years before breaking up in 2003 amid rumors that he cheated on her with fellow Disney princess Lindsay Lohan.)

Fortunately, Carter isn't looking for answer. "[My tweets weren't] meant for the media or anybody like that -- I didn't think about it, really," he told Entertainment Tonight last month. "I wasn't really looking for [a response] either. I'm sure she got the message."

In fact, a lot of people got the message, since Carter, 26, tweeted it out to his 421,000 followers. "Don't be that stupid douche that loses the love of your life forever...Like me..." he wrote on March 5, along with a recent photo of his ex-love. "I'll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don't care what ANY of you think."

"Michael is one of those actors who you have to coax out of the trailer. He'll wait in there for hours and hours," Jackman joked.

Lindsay Lohan cites miscarriage in apology to judge for being MIA in legal battle over 6126 clothing

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Lindsay Lohan cited her recent miscarriage in an apology to a federal judge Thursday as her lawyer claimed retail giant Bebe fleeced the actress by illegally selling her 6126 designs with Bebe labels.

The “Mean Girls” star filed the mea culpa in Los Angeles, asking for reinstatement as a party in her legal battle over the demise of her 6126 clothing line.

She said she was sorry for going AWOL after the court found her in default last December.

“I apologize to the court in the delay in seeking relief but I have been overwhelmed since leaving rehab and dealing with my sobriety and a miscarriage,” she wrote in the signed statement.

Mads Mikkelsen gives the Old West a Euro twist

international trailer for 'The Salvation' debuts at Cannes

Midnight movies can be a mixed bag at the Cannes Film Festival -- some are curios that go on to become genuine cult items, some simply sneak back to the place from whence they came and are never heard from again. The star factor alone of "The Salvation," selected for this year's festival, suggests it won't entirely disappear on us, but it does look to be a somewhat unusual hybrid: a 19th-century Old West revenge yarn with a distinct European slant, not least in the casting of Mads Mikkelsen, Eva Green and, uh, Eric Cantona.

Who is Eric Cantona and why is this obscure website making fun of him?

Mads Mikkelsen looks to be on typically tough form as Danish settler drawn into a blood feud when his family is murdered; familiar stuff, but I can't work out from the trailer if the film is aiming for kitsch genre pastiche or not. Looks quite fun either way.

I'm just posting this because Mads does such a great job at making himself look effete and alien as Hannibal, and I want the world to know he can also do a hunk when there's a call for it.

Lupita Nyong'o stuns on the red carpet at Netflix/Google event

She was recently named as 'most beautiful star' by People magazine. And it wasn't hard to see why when Lupita Nyong'o graced the red carpet at a White House Correspondent Weekend event on Friday. The 31-year-old actress was attending the Google and Netflix hosted party in Washington D.C and the theme of the night was 'Great Storytelling'.

The Oscar winner is also the face of Lancôme Paris, and is rumoured to be taking a role in thriller Who Shot The Sherriff as well as a part in the remake of classic 1967 Disney film The Jungle Book. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar-winner Nyong'o is in final negotiations to voice the character of mother wolf Rakcha, who adopts feral child Mowgli and raises him as her own. So far, the only cast member signed to the project is Golden Globe-winner Idris Elba, who will play Mowgli's arch nemesis, Shere Khan, the man-eating tiger, while the lead role of Mowgli is still yet to be confirmed.

Lupita's dress is so gorgeous. My word!

Dakota Fanning to star in 'Brain On Fire' adaptation

Fanning will star in an upcoming adaptation of Brain On Fire.

The film is based on the memoir Brain On Fire: My Month of Madness by Susannah Cahalan, who was 24 years old when she began to suffer from a form of encephalitis. The onset of the disease caused her to have a sudden, violent seizures, and later manifested itself with disturbing emotional symptoms.

The disease signaled Cahalan's immune system to attack her brain, and the author became increasingly paranoid, delusional, violent and unstable. Doctors diagnosed her with anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis, a rare autoimmune disease, after she was committed to the hospital for a one-month stay.

Cahalan has no memory of her hospitalization, and wrote Brain On Fire based on hospital security footage and accounts from her doctors, family and friends. Fanning will star as the author in the movie adaptation.

Charlize Theron's production company, Denver and Delilah, has secured the rights to adapt the memoir. Theron will produce with Denver and Delilah's Beth Kono and AJ Dix.

Fanning will next star in U.K. film Effie Gray.

Chris Brown
The reports of Chris Brown racing dogs around his Hollywood building and parking in handicapped spots were never really confirmed, but the 'devil art' he sprayed all over the place was clear for the world to see. There are scarier creatures on Harry Potter. Get a f**king life." Chris Brown - just another brilliant artist unappreciated in his time...

Model Doutzen Kroes Will Tell Her Daughter She's Smart, Not Beautiful

Doutzen Kroes: 'I want my daughter to have different aspirations'

Dutch supermodel Doutzen Kroes won't be encouraging her unborn daughter to follow her into modelling, instead she'll be telling her she can be a president.

She may be one the most successful and best-paid models in the industry but that doesn't mean Doutzen Kroes wants her unborn daughter to follow in her posing footsteps.

The Dutch model, who is due to give birth to her second child with DJ husband Sunnery James in the coming months, says she'll emphasise her daughter's intelligence over her beauty.

"Instead of saying, 'You're so beautiful,' I'll say, 'You're smart,' so she'll have different aspirations in life than beauty and modelling," the 29-year-old told Page Six.

Peaches Geldof was hooked on diet pills and obsessed with her mother's death

For someone whose early years were so blighted by tragedy and loss, it is perhaps no surprise that Peaches Geldof was determined to create a picture-perfect home life for herself.

But, as was so often the case with poor Peaches, the carefully crafted image she sold to herself, as much as to the outside world, was in sharp contrast to the sad reality of her troubled existence.
Friends of the late 25-year-old TV presenter say that she was not only still fighting an addiction to heroin that, it was revealed this week, played a part in her death, but was also hooked on diet pills.

Partly fuelling these dependencies, they say, were the money troubles she was struggling with. She and her musician husband of two years, Tom Cohen, were said to have faced the prospect of having to sell their home to fund their costly lifestyle.

Friends say that Peaches had been in and out of rehab for several years - all of which was carefully hidden from the public.

Diane Keaton: "I love Woody Allen. And I believe my friend."

Diane Keaton has addressed the allegations of sexual assault against Woody Allen for the first time since Dylan Farrow’s letter in The New York Times in February, which specifically mentioned Keaton and other celebrities who have collaborated with Allen.

“You knew me when I was a little girl, Diane Keaton,” wrote Farrow. “Have you forgotten me?”

In an interview with the Guardian, however, Keaton claims that “I didn’t know her… I saw her maybe three times. It’s not a bad accusation. I was never friends with Mia – I was friendly.”

But Keaton claims she wasn’t angry about being included in Dylan Farrow’s editorial. “They have to drag someone in. I don’t resent it, not for a second.”

The actress, who won an Academy Award for Allen’s 1977 film Annie Hall, did not respond directly to Dylan Farrow’s accusation that Keaton publicly defended someone who molested her.

“I have nothing to say about that,” said Keaton. “Except: I believe my friend [Woody Allen]. … I love him.”

Two years after Annie Hall, Keaton also starred in Allen’s film Manhattan. The two were briefly romantically involved, and remained close friends.

When the Guardian interviewer asked if Keaton is hesitant to show affection towards Allen publicly, Keaton responded: “No. No. No. He’s the strongest person I’ve met in my life. He’s made of steel.”

John Cho Talks "That Burning Feeling"

How does it feel to personally carry the high expectations of the entire Korean-American community?

"My back hurts!" says John Cho, laughing.

"On a serious note, it can get paralyzing," adds the actor. "But now, there are so many Korean actors out there doing their thing, it's great to see."

It wasn't always that way.

"When I was starting out, it was really hard," says Cho, 41. "I tried to do things like turn down auditions I thought were stereotypical. That sort of thing, small as it was, was difficult. Now it seems like I don't even have to make those decisions anymore. People understand what I do and I'm not faced with that on a day-to-day basis like I used to be."

Jay-Z caught fingering Beyonce?

Getting older is a fact of life and no one has done it the way Jay-Z has, sharing his growth with the world. Just when it became safe to say Jay-Z was done making music, he redefines the game and drops a new album. Before this, Jay-Z made it cool for rappers to be committed to marriage.

Jay-Z and Beyonce are a happy couple and they share their love with the masses via photos on Instagram. Currently, “Part 2, On The Run” has taken off and become a big song heading into the summer. The song shows off their love and a different expectation from rappers.

To break it down, Jay-Z is so successful because he does the things other people never dared to. Because he did it, stayed proud, and believed in himself, Jay-Z is successful, highly. Maybe he started a new trend of pleasuring his wife and the photo leaking to Instagram after an intimate photo of him and Beyonce leaked.

The New York Times interviews George R.R. Martin

The fantasy series “Game of Thrones” has set off a wide-ranging debate about rape, and whether this popular franchise — which includes best-selling novels, a hit HBO television adaptation, a line of comic books and more — trivializes sexual violence with its frequent and often graphic depictions.

George R. R. Martin, whose “Song of Ice and Fire” novels are the foundation of the “Game of Thrones” series, answered email questions from The New York Times about why his books contain scenes of sexual brutality, and responded to some of the criticism that these moments have elicited. These are his responses in their entirety.

Why have you included incidents of rape or sexual violence in your “Song of Ice and Fire” novels? What larger themes are you trying to bring out with these scenes?

An artist has an obligation to tell the truth. My novels are epic fantasy, but they are inspired by and grounded in history. Rape and sexual violence have been a part of every war ever fought, from the ancient Sumerians to our present day. To omit them from a narrative centered on war and power would have been fundamentally false and dishonest, and would have undermined one of the themes of the books: that the true horrors of human history derive not from orcs and Dark Lords, but from ourselves. We are the monsters. (And the heroes too). Each of us has within himself the capacity for great good, and great evil.

Katy Perry has told Selena Gomez to focus on her music following her recent personal dramas.
Perry has told the Come & Get It singer to throw herself back into work in order to deal with her heartbreak.
“Katy is honest with Selena and she told her she needs to stick with it this time and really let it all go. But she also told her that she’ll support her no matter what,” a source told Hollywood Life.
“Katy is very zen about it all. She’s also invited Selena to come and hang out with her on tour — she’s pushing her to get back into making music.”
“Katy feels like music saved her after her breakup with Russell [Brand] so she’s been encouraging Selena to write about what she’s going through.
“Katy has been helping Selena, she’s doing everything she can to help her right now as far as being a shoulder to cry on, someone to talk to that will understand.
“She’s like a big sister to her, a nonjudgmental big sister. Katy doesn’t push her opinions on Selena, but whenever Selena needs her, she is there for her.”

V. Stiviano to Barbara Walters: "Donald Sterling Is Not A Racist"

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s confidante V. Stiviano today told ABC’s Barbara Walters that she thinks the embattled NBA basketball owner should apologize for his racist remarks.

"Yes. Absolutely,” Stiviano, 31, said when Walters asked her during an exclusive television interview in Los Angeles.

"I think he’s highly more traumatized and hurt by the things that he said himself,” she added. “I think he can’t even believe or understand sometimes the thing he says, and I think he’s hurt by it. He’s hurting right now."

Asked if she thought he would go through with a public apology, Stiviano replied: “God only knows.”

This is the first television interview for Stiviano since the NBA handed Sterling a lifetime ban and a $2.5 million fine on Tuesday for his racial remarks about African-Americans featured in a leaked audiotape recording.

Prior to this interview with ABC News, Stiviano had been seen in public wearing a large visor over her face, which she said made it “easier to mask the pain."

Honey Boo Boo's Sister Got Married Today

We wonder if they served "sketti" at the reception?

Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and her family kicked up their heels on Saturday when "Mama June" Shannon's oldest child, Anna "Chickadee" Shannon, married her fiancé, Michael Cardwell.

"I'm so excited to be marrying Michael," Anna, 19, told PEOPLE before the ceremony. "[My daughter] Kaitlyn and I are very lucky to have him, and we can't wait to grow our family. I can't wait to be his wife."

As fans of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo saw in March, Cardwell, 21, proposed to the single mom in true redneck style – with a pizza that had the words "Marry Me" spelled out in pepperoni.

The truck mechanic popped the question to his girlfriend of one year on New Year's Eve at the annual Tallapoosa Possum Drop after first asking Mama June and her husband, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, for their blessing.

Michael said he was ready to be a good husband and father to Anna's daughter from a previous relationship.

"Her and Kaitlyn … I love them with all my heart, I wouldn't trade them for nothing," he said.

The wedding will be seen in all its glory when the new season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo premieres on TLC on June 19.

Movie Monsters, Monster Movies And Why 'Godzilla' Endures

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

There have been hundreds of monster movies over the years, but only a handful of enduringly great movie monsters. Of those, only two were created for the screen: King Kong, the giant ape atop the Empire State Building, and his Japanese heir, Godzilla, the city-flattening sea monster who's a genuinely terrific pop icon. He not only stars in movies — Hollywood is bringing out a new Godzilla on May 16 — but he's even played basketball with Charles Barkley in a commercial for Nike.

It's been six decades since Godzilla first hit the screen, and to celebrate the big guy's birthday, Rialto Pictures is releasing Ishiro Honda's 1954 original — in a restored, 60th-anniversary edition — in theaters.

Efrem Zimbalist Jr., voice of Alfred, dead at 95 :(

Efrem Zimbalist Jr., a staple of 1960s and ’70s TV as the star of ABC dramas “77 Sunset Strip” and “The F.B.I.,” has died. He was 95.

Zimbalist died Friday at his home in Solvang, Calif., according to a statement issued by his daughter, actress Stephanie Zimbalist, and son Efrem Zimbalist III.

[More about his life and work in here]

“We are heartbroken to announce the passing into peace of our beloved father, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., today at his Solvang, Calif. ranch. A devout Christian, he actively enjoyed his life to the last day, showering love on his extended family, playing golf, and visiting with close friends.”

Tall, handsome and always well dressed, Zimbalist starred as the smooth former OSS officer-turned private eye Stuart Bailey who ran a Los Angeles detective agency in “77 Sunset Strip.” The show, one of the first TV series hits from the Warner Bros. studio, ran on ABC from 1958-64.

He returned to the Alphabet the following year as Inspector Lewis Erskine, the methodical leader of “The F.B.I.,” which ran through 1974. His real-life counterpart, FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover, was a fan and supporter of the show, and a friend of Zimbalist’s. In 2009, the FBI saluted Zimbalist by making him an honorary agent, the highest honor the bureau can give to a civilian.

Zimbalist was born to a show business family in New York City in 1918. His father was concert violinist and compositor Efrem Zimbalist Sr., while his mother, Alma Gluck, was a popular singer of the day. He studied at Yale as a teenager, then worked as a page at NBC before enlisting in the Army in WWII. After the war, he studied at Yale Drama School. According to his Turner Classic Movies bio, family friend Garson Kanin gave Zimbalist his first big acting role in the Broadway production of “The Rugged Path,” starring Spencer Tracy.

Zimbalist had small roles in TV shows, worked on stage and as a producer of operas in the early 1950s before he hit big in television (he had been a tennis partner of WB chief Jack L. Warner, according to TCM). During his run on “Sunset Strip,” he made appearances on other Warner Bros. TV shows, including James Garner’s “Maverick” and “Hawaiian Eye.” He continued to log film roles, notably 1967′s “Wait Until Dark” and 1974′s “Airport 1975.”

In the 1980s, he had a recurring role on the NBC dramedy “Remington Steele,” opposite his daughter, Stephanie, and he logged guest shots on ABC’s “Hotel” and CBS’ “Murder, She Wrote.” He also co-starred in CBS’ 1980 miniseries “Scruples” and was featured in the 1991 action-movie spoof “Hot Shots.”

In the 1990s, Zimbalist became a frequent guest on shows airing on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, and host his own program for TBN, “Word From the Holyland.” He also did voiceover work for numerous cartoon series, including “Spider-Man,” “The New Batman Adventures” and more recently, Cartoon Network’s “Justice League.”

Zimbalist published a memoir in 2004, “My Dinner of Herbs,” and logged his last major film role in 2008′s “The Delivery.”
