Bryan Singer Accuser -- Addresses Alleged Sexual Assault Allegations -- [LIVE]

Michael Egan, who just sued "X-Men" director Bryan Singer for allegedly sexually assaulting him when he was a minor, is about to stand in front of microphones and detail his allegations.

As TMZ previously reported, Egan claims Singer forced him to perform oral sex at a party when Egan was about 14 or 15.  He also claims he was repeatedly anally raped and drugged.

Egan -- who is now around 30 -- will appear with his lawyer, Jeff Herman.

Singer's lawyer calls the suit "completely without merit."

Paris Jackson’s Mother Debbie Rowe’s Custody Battle Prompted By Michael Jackson’s ‘Greedy’ Brothers?

Paris Jackson's (biological) mother Debbie Rowe's custody battle was prompted by Michael Jackson's "greedy" brothers, according to a new interview with the former nurse. Meanwhile, Michael's son Prince Jackson will reportedly oppose the petition because he doesn't want to live with his biological mother.
Debbie Rowe has told TMZ that she expected the King of Pop's brothers to turn the custody battle into a money issue as Jermaine, Randy, Tito and Jackie accused her of abandoning both Paris Jackson and Prince Jackson when they were still little after taking Michael Jackson's money.
Debbie Rowe is scoffing at members of the Jackson family who claim she abandoned her children for Michael Jackson's money ... saying it's a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black.
However, Paris Jackson's mother insisted that Michael Jackson was constantly calling her for advice while raising their children. She also said that the recent attack by the Jackson brothers were prompted by greed as they stand to lose the $50,000 monthly child support from the Estate.
For his part, Jermaine Jackson in a TMZ interview claimed that Michael Jackson would be nothing without the Jackson 5. He also said that he didn't have to smooch off the Jackson estate because he made a fortune from the time they were still a group.
Meanwhile, Prince Jackson is supposedly "disgusted" by Debbie Rowe's plan for custody petition.
"First, Debbie wasn't around for years, and Prince doesn't consider her his mother," a source told Radar Online. "As far as Prince is concerned, Debbie was basically a surrogate mother."
Debbie Rowe earlier claimed that Prince Jackson is out of control because of lack of supervision from the legal guardian, 80-year-old Katherine Jackson, but the source said that "Prince has a 4.2 GPA and is on track to graduate with honors."

Debbie needs to gtfo imo. if Paris wants to live with her then that's her decision and should be honored, but Prince and Blanket clearly want nothing to do with her and are comfortable living with their Jackson family, leave them the hell alone!

The Quiet Radicalism of All That

The Quiet Radicalism of All That

The ’90s were golden years for Nickelodeon. The children’s cable television network was home to now cult-classic shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1991-2000), Clarissa Explains It All (1991-’94), The Secret Life of Alex Mack (1994-’98), and Salute Your Shorts (1991-’92)—arguably heretofore unmatched in their clever, un-condescending approach to entertaining young people. Nick News with Linda Ellerbee launched in 1992, and remains to this day one of the only shows on-air devoted to frank, engaging discussions of teen issues and opinions.

But perhaps the program that best embodied the values of Nick in those years was All That, a sketch-comedy show that premiered 20 years ago today. Created by Brian Robbins and Mike Tollin, All That ran for an impressive 10 seasons before it was canceled in 2005. The prolific franchise spawned a number of spin-offs (Good Burger, Kenan & Kel, The Amanda Show) and launched the careers of several comedy mainstays: Kenan Thompson, Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon, and Taran Killam.

Back Onstage, With Fewer Secrets: Michael C. Hall

Michael C. Hall Finally Plays a Man Who Loves to Open Up

Michael C. Hall has made a career of playing men with something to hide, the sort who manage their anxieties by pouring themselves into their work, which in the case of his two best-known television roles happened to include embalming and burying the dead (on “Six Feet Under”) and violently avenging the dead (on “Dexter”). Onstage now in the playwright Will Eno’s gnomic, desperate comedy “The Realistic Joneses,” Mr. Hall plays John, a man with plenty to hide but no real trade to busy his hands and thus to take his mind off a mortal secret he carries.

That may explain why John is not as practiced at repression and sublimation as Mr. Hall’s previous characters were. “Listen, I’m a very spiritual man,” he blurts out at one point to Jennifer (played by Toni Collette), a neighbor with whom he’s conducting a cryptic flirtation. Barely missing a beat, he auto-corrects: “I take it back. I’m not that spiritual.”

“There’s not a lot of room for worry or hesitation with John,” Mr. Hall, 43, said recently over lunch in a Greenwich Village restaurant. “I realize that those were muscles I had been flexing in my job on the TV show, and I really relish the fact that I find myself in a situation that requires me to put those tools down.”

Collapse )

“John says these contradictory things, and neither is true,” Mr. Hall said. “The unarticulated thing is the middle way to which he aspires: The truth is somewhere in between, and it can’t be named.”

Mr. Hall added, with a smile that almost — but didn’t quite — undercut what he was saying, “Maybe he is spiritual after all.”

New Full-Length Trailer for HBO's The Normal Heart is very Larry Kramer-y

The first full-length trailer for HBO's The Normal Heart gives us far more of a taste than the previous teasers did of playwright Larry Kramer's fiery rhetoric, as in this exchange:

TV Lady:
You're accusing the government of a conspiracy to murder all gay men?
Larry Kramer stand-in: Yes!

LK stand-in again: They're gonna cancel our health insurance! They're gonna quarantine us! They're gonna put us into camps!

I have to wonder - will super-theatrical dialogue like this land with a clang on TV? The central trio of Mark Ruffalo, Julia Roberts and (surprisingly) Matt Bomer seem equal to it, though.

This trailer also finally shows a few shots of my bb Jonathan Groff in his apparently rather brief role. Work that death scene pathos, Jonathan!

Kim Novak talks "Bullies"

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kim Novak says that cruel jabs about how she looked during the Oscar ceremony amounted to bullying that left her crushed at first, but then determined to speak out in protest.

"It really did throw me into a tailspin and it hit me hard," Novak, 81, said in a telephone interview Thursday, after she released an open letter condemning remarks by Donald Trump and others about her appearance.

In her letter, Novak said: "I will no longer hold myself back from speaking out against bullies. We can't let people get away with affecting our lives."

She had initially remained silent after serving as a presenter with Matthew McConaughey at the March 2 Academy Awards because the comments were so painful, Novak said from her home near the Rogue River in Oregon.

Leighton Meester knows about your Seth/Blair fanfiction now and doubles-down on feminism

It’s a busy year for Leighton Meester. She’s starring in her first Broadway play, Of Mice and Men, which just opened with James Franco and Chris O’Dowd. She has some new movies on the horizon. Oh, and she got hitched to Adam Brody in a big hush-hush wedding ceremony. You can see the newlyweds together in Meester’s latest movie, Life Partners, which is premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival today. She plays Sasha, an aspiring musician who’s almost 30 but still acts 21. When her best friend, Paige (Gillian Jacobs), gets engaged to a doctor (Brody), Sasha starts to lose her 24/7 BFF — as well as her sh*t. Cosmopolitan.com spoke to Meester, who is fantastically funny in the movie, about not being able to cook for herself, backstage banjo-antics with Franco and company, feminism, and why she's not reading your Blair/Seth fan faction. (Sorry!)

How are you?
I'm good, how are you? Are you in New York?

I am.
So, it's cold. Why? I don't understand it. [Editor's note: New York City has suffered through freakish 30-degree weather AND SNOW this week.] I was sweating throwing the ball for the dog the other day in the park. And then I turn around and I'm like, "I have to wear a coat again." My dog doesn't wanna go outside.

He probably enjoyed the snow, at least?
Um, no. My very small dog is basically like her very own broom. She's a dachshund with long hair and she's really, really short. Her legs are probably two inches long, so every time she comes back I have to put her in warm water and warm her up because she's so cold. She's like, "I can hold my pee all winter."

Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly Want To Be "Border Guards"

We already have one potential reunion for comedy duo Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly floating around with Devil’s Night, which Sony optioned last October. The studio is also interested in another project, Border Guards, which boasts the additional inducement of reuniting the pair with director Adam McKay.

Sony has hired Peep Show / Fresh Meat / Four Lions veteran Jesse Armstrong to write the script for the embryonic new comedy, which would see Ferrell and Reilly as two earnest pals who decide that their task in life should be protecting America’s borders from illegal immigrants. Yet they somehow manage to become stranded in Mexico without identification, meaning that they must – of course! – sneak back into the US across the very border they were attempting to guard.

We haven’t seen Ferrell and Reilly co-star directly together since Step Brothers, so this is a tempting prospect, even if it might have to wait for everyone’s schedules to open up. McKay and Ferrell last collaborated on Anchorman 2 (which boasted a Reilly cameo as the ghost of Stonewall Jackson, a spirit with a taste for souls).

Yeah, this sounds like it'll go over real well. Any POC who signs up for this is an idiot.

Shakira wants to be first lady of FC Barcelona

Colombian pop star Shakira believes she will one day be the first lady of Barcelona when her boyfriend and centre back Gerard Pique becomes the president.
The Spain defender commented a few months ago about his desire to become president of the club in years to come, saying: ‘Who knows, maybe I'll become the president of FC Barcelona one day.’
And Shakira has added to the speculation by saying in an interview with Bocas magazine: ‘I think that Gerard will someday be president of Barcelona and I will be the first lady…. of Barca.'
Pique will have no immediate desires to move from the pitch to the boardroom as at 26 he still has plenty to achieve in the game – starting with Wednesday night’s Copa del Rey final with Real Madrid, before which he faces a late fitness test.
Internationally, Spain are world and European champions and will be hoping to defend their crown in Brazil this summer.
Off the pitch, Pique and Shakira became parents to a son, Milan, and the Barcelona centre back enjoys being a dad.
He said: ‘I love being a father. I've matured a little and now I'm much better at changing nappies and I sleep less regularly.'

Shaki-Barfa are gonna through so much shit already girl, they don't need Pique running the show

Teen Wolf's Ryan Kelley Shows Off His Rock-Hard Abs!

Actor Ryan Kelley flashes his washboard abs while shirtless for this new photo shoot, provided exclusively to JustJaredJr.com!

The 27-year-old Teen Wolf cast member opened up to JJJ about his co-stars, favorite off-screen moments, and more. Check it:

JustJaredJr.com: How has the Teen Wolf family treated you so far? Who have you clicked with the best?

Ryan Kelley: It’s been amazing, I’ve been acting since I was about 6 years old and this has been one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. It’s such a great opportunity to join the cast of an already established hit show, particularly one I was already a big fan of. I know everyone says this, but they all truly have fun on set filming everyday, which takes any work out of it.

Honestly everyone is super cool, but I’ve spent most of my time filming scenes at the Sheriff’s station so naturally I’ve really hit it off with Linden Ashby. He’s just a great guy and an incredible actor to work with. I’ve played younger characters for so long it’s nice to finally play a slightly more adult part, I thought for a while I was going to get stuck being a teenager forever. It’s nice to let some of the other actors do scenes talking at a locker in a High School hallway for a change.

JJJ: What’s been your favorite off-screen moment on the set of Teen Wolf?

RK: My favorite off screen moment on set had to be during the filming the finale of season 3B. It’s the scene where the evil Oni are attacking the station. We had already been at it 14-plus hours on an all night shoot. The Oni’s are swinging their Katana swords and we’re shooting our guns and after so many hours of that everyone starts to get very loopy and when “Action” was yelled for one of our last takes, Linden was not entering frame. We were all just waiting for him to enter… He had fallen asleep and no one noticed. After waking him up everyone got one good last laugh before finally ending an extremely long day. Good times!”

JJJ: What’s your favorite prop from set?

RK: My favorite prop from set is my entire uniform. When the badge is stuck to on my chest and the gun is placed on my hip, I start to actually feel like a deputy. Don’t worry though, they don’t trust me with a real gun.

According to Singer, He Wasn't In Hawaii During Alleged Assault

Bryan Singer believes he has proof that will blow his sexual accuser out of the water ... he was NOT in Hawaii during the period he allegedly committed a sexual assault.

Michael Egan claims in a new lawsuit Singer anally raped him and forced hard drugs on him during 2 separate trips to Hawaii in August and October, 1999.

Sources connected with Singer tell TMZ ... the "X-Men" director has proof he was NOT in Hawaii during that period ... he was in Toronto shooting the first "X-Men" movie.

We're told Singer will file credit card bills and various other documents proving he was in Toronto during the times in question.

We know the movie itself was shot Sept. 22 - March 3 in Toronto, but there was pre-production and we're told Singer was present.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier Could Win Third Weekend Box Office In A Row

Captain America: The Winter Soldier could hold on to the top spot at the box office for a third straight week.
Its biggest competition will, again, be Rio 2, the children’s animated feature sequel.  The two films went head-to-head last week and most projected that Rio 2 would dethrone Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but Captain America pulled out a victory, bringing in $41.3 million to Rio 2’s $39.3 million.

While Variety expects both films will only see weekend numbers in the low-to-mid $20 million range, they are still expected to outpace anything else currently in theaters.

The biggest new challenger this week is Transcendence, starring Johnny Depp, but the film seems to have little buzz and has gotten poor early reviews – it currently has a 19% on RottenTomatoes – making it unlikely to upset the balance of things at the box office.

BoxOfficeMojo is forecasting a weekend victory for Rio 2, but we think there’s still a pretty good chance that Captain America: The Winter Soldier will remain on top. The long Easter weekend may mean more opportunities for some to bring their children to the theater, but Captain America still has a pretty healthy buzz about it and will likely be the movie of choice for families with pre-teen or teenage children.

Columbus Short Gives Bizarre Interview to TJMS

Tom Joyner, Sybil Wilkes and J. Anthony Brown are still shaking their heads over this morning’s bizarre interview with Scandal actor Columbus Short. To put it lightly, he was less than a gladiator on the show this morning.
Short was already generating controversy for three domestic violence allegations. The most recent one accompanied his estranged wife Tanee McCall‘s third divorce filing where she said he pulled a knife on her and threatened to kill her and himself. Short responded to the allegations by saying his legal counsel had forbidden him to speak but that he would have his turn in court.

After Thursday’s explosive Scandal finale, Short called in for his previously scheduled interview on Friday, but the interview soon took a strange turn. Although we’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt as he was calling in at 4;45 a.m. Pacific time, he still sounde
d….off and even called Tom the “n” word. Yes, he did.

Since Short’s fate as gladiator Harrison is in limbo after he was apparently shot in the season finale, we’re not sure what Shonda Rhimes is now going to do with his character.

She must be thinking “Again?” after another scandal felled actor Isaiah Washington‘s character onGrey’s Anatomy some years ago. Can we suggest that Short is in need of his own Olivia Pope in real life…and quickly?

Nick Carter Responds to Joey Fatone's Backstreet Boys Diss, Says He's "Disappointed"

Nick Carter isn't too happy with Joey Fatone.

One day after Fatone blasted the Backstreet Boys' recent tour and said the boy-banders did it just because they needed money, Carter took to Twitter to respond to the 'N Sync star's diss.

"Just disappointed, I really liked joey..." Carter wrote earlier today.

He added, "I'm proud of who we are and love what we stand for. Truthfully its about not letting our fans down. Sorry bro but you have us all wrong."

The recently married star finished his response with, "Now let me go back to enjoying my Honeymoon."

Fatone's diss happened during an interview with Huffington Post this week. "All these other groups and bands said that we will never tour again and you see New Kids On The Block tour and stuff like that," he said.

The interview then brought up the Backstreet Boys' recent tour and Fatone joked, "I feel like they just need the money," before quickly adding, "No offense guys!"

Fatone also shot down the possibility of another 'N Sync reunion. "At this moment in time is anything gonna happen? Absolutely, 100 percent no...at this moment," he said.

Oh Land - Cherry on Top

Before she came to public attention as the ethereal electro-pop siren Oh Land, the Danish musician Nanna Fabricius was a small-town girl who dreamed of becoming a ballerina. She left home for Stockholm at age 15 to pursue those ambitions until a back injury ended her career. Still, she often dreams about her first creative pursuit. An actual dream, in fact, inspired her new music video for “Cherry on Top,” a twinkling ballad on her 2013 album “Wish Bone,” produced by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek. In it, she went into a dance studio — only to discover that she wasn’t a dancer, she was a piano player. The dream seemed an apt expression for the song, which, she explains, is about “taking off the blinders and seeing the world all around you.”

The video, which premieres here, is a dreamlike fantasia, shot at the Alvin Ailey Dance School and featuring a bevy of child dancers and the model Helena Christensen. In it, Fabricius plays a substitute piano teacher at the dance studio. By choosing that role, she says, she felt she was closing the book on her past. “Since I’ve stopped dancing I’ve had so many dreams about being a dancer and being in the classroom again,” she explains. “But this one was a personal breakthrough in a way, because even in my subconscious I didn’t consider myself a dancer anymore.”

First trailer for Flowers in the Attic sequel, Petals On the Wind

A brief, uber-dramatic recap of Flowers in the Attic? Check. A shot of Heather Graham in a gorgeous ball gown, torching her ancestral home with an ornate candelabra? Brother-boning, ballet, and literal petals on literal wind? Check, check, and mate.

In short: Why are you not already watching the very first trailer for Petals on the Wind, Lifetime’s juicy followup to its smash hit Flowers in the Attic adaptation? The film features returning stars Graham, Ellen Burstyn, and Dylan Bruce, as well as Rose McIver and Wyatt Nash in parts originated by Kiernan Shipka and Mason Dye. (The sequel picks up 10 years after the events of Flowers, meaning it’s really an adaptation of the second half of Petals. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, because the second half of Petals is just as insane as the first.)

Check out the deliciously melodramatic teaser below, all set to the haunting strains of Kelly Sweet’s take on “In the Air Tonight” – or risk Withered Old Ellen Burstyn haunting your dreams forevermore.

Vogue, Kimye sued by soul singer for allegedly using samples for "Bound 2" from 1970s song

Vogue editor Anna Wintour may be regretting her decision to finally put Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the cover of the fashion bible: Her company is now being sued over the April photo shoot.

The “exclusive video,” posted on Vogue’s website, “takes you on set with the happy family,” with images of a canoodling Kimye posing with baby North for celebrity photographer Annie Leibowtiz.

The Great Big Bryan Singer Sex Party Mailbag

Beyoncé Really, Really Does Not Want to Be Friends With Kim Kardashian

In what is surely the most significant event of our time, Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian ran into each other at the dermatologist in LA while a normal looked on and acted as scribe. It was an icy encounter.

According to the eyewitness, Kim "seemed so excited to see Beyoncé and was really eagerly going over to her." However, "Beyoncé wanted nothing to do with Kim and was really trying to stay away from her." She reportedly asked some desultory questions about Baby North but did not care. (Other potential topics of conversation they could have had: "How was your Vogue cover? Good? Same."; "Tom Ford, am I right?"; "Hey, have you heard of that new band, 5 Seconds of Summer? Do you think they all hate Mikey, secretly?")

According to ANOTHER source, Kim Kardashian then "made sure that she had the exact same procedures that Beyoncé had," i.e., fillers and Botox. I don't know if that's really copying her, per se, because those are very standard procedures. That's like saying, "Kim Kardashian ran into Beyoncé at a Chipotle and TRIED TO BECOME HER by ordering a burrito bowl with extra guacamole." Anyway. Such intrigue. [Radar]

After two short seasons, ITV's women-led 1950s-set codebreakers drama has been cancelled. The series starred Anna Maxwell Martin, Rachel Stirling, Sophie Rundle and Julie Graham as former WWII Bletchley Park codebreakers, using their considerable nous in post-war civilian life to solve crimes.

A four-episode second series of the drama ran earlier this year, and despite it hanging on to an average of 4.9 million viewers each week, ITV appears to have called time on the female investigators. The Twitter response to the cancellation has been characterised by disappointment, with messages displaying quite understandable "There are obviously already too many women geniuses being awesome on TV" frustration.

Anyone who followed the Ripper Street developments from the news of cancellation to its phoenix-like return knows that the end isn't necessarily the end these days on television. As we discovered here, fan campaigns can shore up and offer moral support to executives fighting for renewal. Watch this space...

And now, according to Buzzfeed, Prepon is all set to return full-time for Season 3. So brace yourself for more of this.

Shia LaBeouf Reportedly Bought Lunch for a Homeless Man

Shia LaBeouf wears his favorite Che Guevara t-shirt and brown pants as he leaves Lemonade after grabbing a snack on Thursday (April 17) in Studio City, Calif.

The 27-year-old actor reportedly did a good deed and bought a homeless man lunch last week.

“Shia shook his hand and said, ‘God bless you,’” an eyewitness told Celebuzz. “Then, he went back inside to his table to finish his food. He even bussed his own tray.”

“It was a very nice thing to do,” the source added. “He looked like he wanted to be left alone for the most part, but a fan approached him during his meal and Shia simply shook their hand. He seemed really nice during the whole thing.”
