French Montana is a Man-Whore: Khloe K, Trina & His Baby Mama All on his Roster

Khloe Kardashian and French Montana have dating rumors churning

Khloe Kardashian might have a new man in her life. Emphasis on the "might" right now, but more like a "probably" by the end of this post.

The fellow is Moroccan-born rapper French Montana. At first, Kardashian was spotted with Montana at the sweet 16 bash of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ son Christian. Montana was invited to perform at the April 4 celebration, E! News reports. After the party, Kardashian posted an Instagram shot of attendees, including her close friend Malika Haqq, and, oh hey, Montana. (Nothing too obvious at that point.)

Bob’s Burgers Recap: “The Equestranauts”

Bob’s Burgers exists in a universe unto itself, and at times in can feel like many aspects of that world differ from real life (most notably, the lack of technology). On this week’s episode, “The Equestranauts,” this was not the case. The Belchers poked merciless fun at My Little Pony ‘Brony’ culture, and though the best one-liners were mostly packed toward the front of the episode, the concept’s joke kept the episode galloping along. Instead of a B-plot this week, the entire episode was dedicating to debasing Bronies — and rightfully so. There has been too much curiosity-masquerading-as-celebration of this bizarre subculture.

Premiere: Atmosphere - "Kanye West" (Official video)

At the Noisey office, we keep incessantly saying "turn up" to each other, to the point that the phrase has lost all inherent meaning, transforming into a phonetic formulation, devoid of context. Atmosphere has done something similar with their newest single "Kanye West," taking the name of the biggest rapper in the known universe and turning it (up) into a refrain about giving a damn and a fuck. The video for "Kanye West" is a reminder that true love knows no borders, laws, or suspicions that your partner is using you to help knock over a bunch of convenience stores.

"Kanye West" is on Atmosphere's upcoming Southsiders, due out on May 6th. Pre-Order it on iTunes here.

Gemma Arterton Post! (ft Ryan Reynolds)

New stills from "The Voices"

Ahead of Sundance London and the UK premiere of The Voices there, the new film from Persepolis co-director Marjane Satrapi that stars Ryan Reynolds, we have two new images from the film to give you a taste of what’s in store.
We’re promised that this will be “a genre-bending film which centers around Jerry, a lovable but disturbed factory worker who yearns for the attention of a woman in accounting. When their relationship takes a sudden turn, we follow Jerry’s perspective as his talking pets, a sinister cat and benevolent dog, lead him down a fantastical, murderous path.”
The film also stars Anna Kendrick, Gemma Arterton and Jacki Weaver, and received quite a bit of praise for its humour and wild tone when it premiered at the Utah Sundance earlier this year. There’s no UK release date for The Voices just yet, but hopefully we’ll see it before too many more months pass. If you can get there, the film will be showing at Sundance London on April 26.

Shakira predicted the disappearance of Flight 370

At least, that's what online conspiracy theorists believe. Enter the weird world of the Malaysian Airlines tinhats

We thought that there was barely anywhere left in the world that even a person could disappear to, let alone a 33 foot-long commercial aircraft – but Flight 370 has been missing for over a month, and nobody is any wiser. Hope was temporarily ignited when rescuers detected the ping of the Boeing 777's black box, but it's been dead silence since 8 April and some believe that the batteries have probably now run out. As of today, the Boeing 777 aircraft that carried 227 passengers has been missing for 38 days. No-one knows where it is, why they can't find it, or what happened.

But rejoice! Thanks to the internet, now any amateur Sherlock Holmes (or Courtney Love) can weigh in with "careful research" and "proof" that Flight 370 isn't at the bottom of the Indian Ocean like the rest of us squares seem to think. A devoted subculture of online conspiracy buffs and YouTube theorists have sprouted around the disappearance of the plane, dedicated to uncovering the truth – whether that involves aliens, the US government or Shakira.

COSMOPOLITAN's new direction: Getting serious about women's rights

Mods - Cosmopolitan magazine is an important player in celebrity and pop culture so I argue that this "news" is relevant to the readers of ONTD. Hope you'll approve.

Lauren Rankin, a freelance writer who focuses on issues of reproductive justice, doesn’t always keep track of her new Twitter followers. But one recently caught her eye.

“A couple weeks ago I noticed that one of Cosmo’s editors, Lori Fradkin, followed me on Twitter… At the time I thought, Cosmo? That’s kind of weird, since I mainly write about reproductive rights,” Rankin recounted.

Then, a couple days later, Rankin was added to a list serv that receives periodic emails about Cosmopolitan.com’s latest reproductive rights coverage — topics ranging from abortion clinic harassment, to the new law in Texas that’s forcing abortion clinics to close, to combating abortion stigma.

Those probably aren’t the topics you’d expect to encounter in Cosmopolitan. After all, the women’s magazine is largely infamous for doling out complicated sex tips — advice that feminist sites like Jezebel have been mocking for years. But so far this year, Cosmopolitan.com has actually published story after story that focuses on in-depth issues related to reproductive rights.
(1 2 3 4 5)

For instance, in an article that went up at the beginning of last week, an OB-GYN practicing in Texas explains what it’s like to provide health care in a state that’s enacted so many harsh restrictions on abortion, which can force some women to resort to dangerous options. “My first hysterectomy as a resident was on a 16-year-old who had an illegal abortion. Her pelvis was nothing but pus,” the piece begins.
We are unequivocally for women’s rights. It’s that simple.

Rankin said she’s been heartened by the site’s “legitimate strides” to include more coverage of abortion policy, and impressed that the editorial staff seems to be making a concerted effort to connect with writers who are already working in this issue space. So she emailed Fradkin directly to offer to write for the site, too. She’s published two pieces — one on a middle school’s potentially sexist dress code, and another on a bill in Tennessee that’s seeking to criminalize pregnant women — so far. And Rankin isn’t the only feminist writer who now has a Cosmo byline. Jill Filipovic, a columnist for the Guardian and a blogger at Feministe, has also published several pieces about reproductive rights on Cosmopolitan.com.

“It all comes down to one core value, which is that we are unequivocally for women’s rights. It’s that simple,” Cosmopolitan.com’s editor, Amy Odell, told ThinkProgress when asked about the apparent editorial shift. “We believe every woman should have access to safe, affordable health care, and when that right is threatened, we’re not afraid to tackle those threats head-on.”

Complete article @ the source

Cosmopolitan sells more than any other women's magazine, I believe, and the magazine itself actually started out as a serious muckraker publication so this is an exciting direction.

Superheroes Riding a Marvel-ous Wave at the Box Office

There was a time, legend has it, when only two men seemed suited to police the planet. Or at least Hollywood's world.

Lantern-jawed, darkly handsome and fond of the American way of life, Superman and Batman had much in common despite hailing from different planets. Both were born in the 1930s, dominated theaters and television and even shared a New York mailing address: the headquarters of DC Comics.

But in 2000, a new strain of hero — a mutant strain — entered the big-screen spandex fray. X-Men, about an academy for social outcasts with superpowers, collected an astounding $157 million at the box office, introduced an Aussie named Hugh Jackman and made the fledgling Marvel Studios a sudden player in comic-book movies. [wait... huh???]

Just 14 years later, Marvel has taken on a new identity, as the industry's most bankable studio for live-action hits. Its most recent film, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, nabbed a $95 million opening earlier this month, the largest debut in April ever, then claimed a second straight week at No. 1, collecting $159 million in just 10 days.

George Bush's Paintings Aren't Funny

The greatest work of art George W. Bush ever took part in was in 2008, when an Iraqi journalist threw two shoes at his head. “This is a farewell kiss from the Iraqi people, you dog,” screamed the journalist, Muntadhar al-Zaidi, who had been arrested twice by U.S. forces during the occupation.
Bush dodged the shoes with the same ease with which he’d had dodged consequences all his life; those for drunk driving, for ruined companies, stolen elections, war crimes, the destruction of Zaidi’s country.

After he dodged the shoes, Bush joked about free countries. Meanwhile, guards beat Zaidi bloody. Police tortured him during the nine months he served in jail.

Bush’s first art exhibition, “The Art of Leadership: A President’s Personal Diplomacy,” lacks the apt metaphor of Zaidi’s shoe throw. Bush’s 30 oil-on-board portraits of world leaders will hang at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas through June 3. As artifact, they’re fascinating, even if as art they’re not.

We first got a glimpse at Bush’s paintings in 2013, when a hacker leaked an early batch online. Two nudes went viral—Bush’s feet in the bath and Bush’s back in the shower. What was up with all that bathing imagery? Was he trying to wash out that damn spot? Presidential flesh is still a rarity, even though Bush was renowned for giving unwanted massages, choking on pretzels and wiping his sweaty hands on Bill Clinton’s shirt. But those nudes, unlike the latest paintings of world leaders, were not meant for public consumption. Bush’s exhibition is for posterity. A gift from him to us.

Bush paints like a freshman art student attempting alla prima, which means doing a whole painting in one sitting. It looks easy but often comes off terribly when done by newbies. As you apply fresh paint strokes, the ones you just did smear hopelessly. All your colors mash to mud. I don’t say this to criticize Bush. I still can’t paint in oils. Waiting for each layer to dry before you do the next is torture—though not the kind Bush is familiar with.

Crimson Peak Filming in Kingston, Ontario!!!

Today, Kingstonians are excited to be welcoming the cast and crew of Guillermo del Toro’s “Crimson Peak” (also known by its working title “Haunted Peak”) who are in town to shoot scenes outside City Hall.

The filming centers around the historic Market Square, behind City Hall, where tons of earth and 1900-era props have been used to turn back time.

Actress Mia Wasikowska, who starred in the title roles of both “Jane Eyre” and “Alice in Wonderland”, has been seen filming scenes but the other stars – Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, and Tom Hiddleston – are less certain to appear, with Hiddleston having attended the Laurence Olivier Awards in London, England just last night.

Around 300 extras were hired for the shoot with filming slated to begin at 7am this morning.

The Springer Market Square has been the scene of a number of key moments in Canada’s history since it was informally established in 1788, and used for other studio shoots in the recent past.

In January of 2013, the WB television series “Nikita” transformed the same part of Kingston to shoot scenes set in Russia and the 1999 TV movie Vendetta, starring Christopher Walken, turned the Market Square area into 1890s New Orleans.

Crimson Peak is scheduled to be released on October 16, 2015.

Elizabeth Olsen for Flaunt Magazine

Recently, everyone’s been congratulating Elizabeth Olsen. So when I think to do the same, standing in my house with a phone to my ear, waiting for Olsen to pick up the other end somewhere in the Aosta Valley in Northwestern Italy, I wonder which of her recent accomplishments I’m speaking to. This is when I get nervous.

After training at Tisch and starring in Sean Durkin’s cigarette burn of a debut Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011), Olsen has emerged from the silken cocoon of a famously show-busy family, neatly engineering a lo-fi, roots-up career.

But Olsen looks to be leaving obscurity behind. There’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron slated for release in 2015, and Gareth Edwards’ madly anticipated reimagining of the once-tainted Godzilla franchise out this spring. (Reasons for Congratulation #1, #2, and possibly #3.) Both pictures have in common large, well-established ensemble casts (including a double pairing with Aaron Taylor-Johnson), but consist of entirely divergent personalities: Cranston/Watanabe/Binoche on the one hand, and Downey Jr. and co. on the other.

'Mad Men' Season 7 Premiere Is a ratings FLOP: Lowest in Viewers Since 2008

While it seemed like there could not have been more anticipation than ever for Mad Men, the season seven premiere last night had its lowest premiere viewership since 2008.

The episode drew in 2.3 million viewers, which was just ahead of season two’s debut with 2.06 million people watching, according to Deadline.

To put this in perspective, last year’s season six debuted with a two hour episode that brought in 3.5 million viewers and season five’s premiere was the most watched episode of the series with 3.6 million viewers.

This will be the final season of Mad Men, but it has been split into two parts so we won’t see the ending until 2015.

WHAT DID YOU THINK of the season seven premiere of Mad Men?

Pulitzer Prize for fiction goes to "The Goldfinch"

Donna Tartt’s sprawling literary epic that centers on a mysterious little painting has taken the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for fiction, besting other lengthy titles, such as The Son by Phillipp Meyer and The Woman Who Lost Her Soul by Bob Sacochis, both of which received “A” grades from EW.

The Goldfinch, Tartt’s first novel in more than a decade, was clearly worth the wait. It not only won critical raves but has become a bona fide commercial best-seller. A film version produced by Nina Jacobson (The Hunger Games) is in the works. The Flick by Annie Baker took the honor for drama and Tom’s River: A Story of Science and Salvation by Dan Fagin won for general nonfiction

David and Victoria Beckham will be rivals in the menswear market

Ex-soccer star nears a deal on one clothing line while Spice Girl-turned-designer plans another for her fashion label

Screen shot 2014-04-14 at 3.53.52 PM
Superstar couple Victoria Beckham and husband David are going to war in the mens’ fashion business, Confidenti@l has learned.

Retired soccer legend David is lining up a menswear range worldwide — just weeks after pop star-turned-designer Victoria announced she is launching a line of posh clothes for guys.

We hear David, 38, is closing in on a deal with top Hong Kong clothing distributor Li & Fung to produce a range of casual wear, while Posh is already working on menswear for her VB label.

“David is at the moment the hottest property in fashion. His success with H&M has been a huge hit, so it’s no surprise that Li & Fung want him to work in high-end fashion,” a source said. “They have the reach and the budget to bring him in to work on clothes ranges — $20 million for a signing-on fee is nothing to a billion-dollar retail giant.”

Girls' Generation, TVXQ! Drop New English Songs for 'Make Your Move' Film

The Korean superstars contribute new tracks for the film 'Make Your Move' starring Derek Hough and BoA

After Billboard premiered the video for "Let Me In" -- the lead single off the soundtrack to the "Make Your Move" -- the full album is now available, boasting rare, sonic treats: K-pop acts Girls' Generation and TVXQ! both recorded new English songs while members of Girls' Generation, f(x) and EXO recorded a collaboration.

[song no one cares about by Derek Hough]

First, Girls' Generation serve the surging, electro-pop confection "Cheap Creeper." A diss track to slimy showoffs, it's loaded with rather-complicated, but hilariously brilliant lyrics like, "You drive an Audi that you rented from Alamo / You got the hook-up from your cousin who's the regional manager on weekdays" and "You only wear cologne that comes in the sample size."

Despite only two members who speak English as their native language, the girls pull off the complicated melody and rhythm like near pros.

"Cheap Creeper" is undoubtedly a fun offering, but feels rather bland compared to recent Girls' Generation products like the genre-jumping "I Got a Boy" or slinky, disco-pop in "Mr.Mr." But it work as a playful soundtrack contribution, likely satisfying pop fans eagerly awaiting GG's long-rumored English album.

"Cheap Creeper" is the latest English track by the ninesome, following their "international" single "The Boys" that was released in English, Korean and Japanese. Girls' Generation performed the Teddy Riley-produced track on "The Late Show With David Letterman" and "Live! With Kelly Ripa" in early 2012.

“There’s nothing better than making a single camera film comedy in New York – and I’m thrilled to be doing this one with TV Land,” Star said. “Larry Jones, Keith Cox and their entire team have been incredibly supportive. Looking forward to working with our awesome cast led by my Broadway crush Sutton Foster. “

“Younger” is slated to premiere in the fall.

Ice Cube Feels "Robbed" After Losing to Paul Walker at MTV Movie Awards, Blames "Sympathy" Votes

Ice Cube isn't too happy that Paul Walker and his Fast & Furious 6 costar Vin Diesel won the Best Onscreen Duo at last night's 2014 MTV Movie Awards.

The rapper turned actor says the late star shouldn't have won posthumously and insists he and Kevin Hart should have taken home the trophy for their performances in Ride Along.
"We was robbed," Ice Cube told USA Today. "Shame on you, MTV."
Ice Cube says Walker, who died in a car crash back in November, only won out of "sympathy."

"We had the best chemistry of everybody nominated, for us not to win was crazy," Ice Cube told the newspaper of himself and Hart. "We were the best onscreen duo, period."
"They should have gave it to him before he passed away," Ice Cube added of Walker's win.

Walker's posthumous win isn't the only thing that has the hip-hop star peeved.

Ice Cube also dissed last night's MTV Movie Awards by leaving mid-show.
"I just wasn't into it," he said. "I have been going in and out of these things for 25 years. If you ain't into it, why torture yourself? As soon as you get bored, get up and leave."

Thief steals Selena Gomez 'Passion Rings' and other celebrity valuables in jewelry store heist!

The bandit walked into a high-end jewelry store in Manhattan that caters to celebrities and made off with valuables worn by Hollywood A-listers, among them Selena Gomez.
Police said the brazen thief – whom they’re very interested in finding -- tied up a store employee and then stole about $54,000 worth of jewelry from inside the Margo Manhattan store on Friday.
The thief, police say, entered the store in the early afternoon and asked to see some jewelry.
They say he then grabbed the 53-year-old woman by the neck, forced her into the back room and tied her up.
Video surveillance shows the man removing items from a display case. Police say he also took valuables from the back room. The items he stole included jewelry Beyoncé wore for her “visual album” released last year, and “Passion Rings” made for Selena Gomez, according to The New York Post.
On its website, the company shows one of its necklaces being worn by singer Beyoncé. Another shows one being worn by actress Mischa Barton.
“The man told her to stay quiet and she did,” Margo Manhattan said, according to The New York Post.
Manhattan added that she tells her staff to turn over valuables a thief may demand during a robbery.
“I’d rather them get the jewelry than have them hurt anyone,” she said. “Their safety is more important. I can replace the jewelry but I can’t replace their life.”

The Winter Soldier Writers Talks about Marvel and Samuel L. Jackson Talks Avengers 2

“When you come down to it, Nick’s an ordinary guy who knows how to bend extraordinary people to his will. The [Avengers sequel] is not about Nick and what S.H.I.E.L.D. is going through. We’re going to skip over him in an interesting sort of way.”

Neve Campbell confirms there won't be a Scream 5

After her surprise appearance on the 7th and final season of Mad Man, last Sunday, Neve Campbell gave a few interviews. Marlow Stern, from The Daily Beast got this quote, directly from Sidney Prescott:
I don’t think we’ll see it again. I know they’re doing a TV show for MTV that I just read about, but originally they’d talked about Scream 4 being the beginning of another trilogy, but once we made it, it was such a challenge to do a good job with it, give the audience what they wanted, have it be fresh, and have it still retain the elements from the older movies people loved so much. I think we did a good job with it, but I don’t know if you can do it again and again and again. We’d be pushing it. So I think they’re smart with just doing a TV show and leaving it alone.

ANOTHER DC Series Being Developed for TV

WGN America is the latest TV network looking to DC Comics for adaptable material. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jason Aaron and R.M. Guera’s Vertigo series Scalped — which ran for 60 issues between 2007 and 2012 — is the latest to be put in development for a TV drama. Banshee’s Doug Jung will reportedly write the pilot script and executive produce the drama for Warner Horizon Television.

DC describes the series as “ an intense crime drama that mixes organized crime with current Native American culture."

“Fifteen years ago, Dashiell ‘Dash’ Bad Horse ran away from a life of abject poverty and utter hopelessness on the Prairie Rose Indian Reservation searching for something better,” reads the description of the series first trade paperback collection Indian Country. “Now he's come back home armed with nothing but a set of nunchucs, a hell-bent-for-leather attitude and one dark secret, to find nothing much has changed on ‘The Rez’ — short of a glimmering new casino, and a once-proud people overcome by drugs and organized crime. Is he here to set things right or just get a piece of the action?”

Scalped becomes just the latest in a growing slate of DC/Vertigo comics being adapted for TV. The line-up already includes The Flash, Hourman, and iZombie (the CW), Constantine (NBC), Gotham (Fox), Preacher (AMC), and DMZ (SyFy).

Vertigo - where Scalped, iZombie, Preacher, DMZ, and arguably Constantine originated from - is becoming a hot imprint for live-action adaption. Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman is in development as a feature film with Joseph Gordon-Levitt attached to produce (and possibly direct and star), and just last week it was reported Simon Oliver and Robbi Rodriguez’s Vertigo series Federal Bureau of Physics was being developed as a feature film for Warner Bros. with David Goyer attached as producer and Justin Marks attached as screenwriter. Marks was previously hired to write an adaption of DC’s Suicide Squad, but that project is reportedly on hold until after DC solidifies its Justice League/DC Cinematic Universe plans.

Jennifer Carpenter Developing ‘Death Class’ as Drama Series

Actress Jennifer Carpenter and producer George Stelzner are developing a drama series based on the recent non-fiction book “The Death Class: A True Story About Life.”

“Dexter” alum Carpenter and Stelzner have optioned the rights to the book, penned by former Los Angeles Times writer Erika Hayasaki and published in January by Simon & Schuster.

“Death Class” revolves around Norma Bowe, a Ph.D and registered nurse who teaches a class in preparing for death at Kean University in New Jersey.

The course has gained national attention for Bowe’s fearless exploration of end-of-life issues and her approach to helping students (and clients of her consulting practice) use an array of techniques to come to grips with the reality of mortality.

“Norma is such a dynamic force,” said Carpenter. “Her world is rich and textured, and the results of her work are inexplicably redemptive and life-affirming.”

Stelzner is a former Hallmark Entertainment exec who heads West Egg Studios, which specializes in handling literary adaptations. The shingle is at work on projects for Fox, FX, ABC Studios, Fox TV Studios, Spike and A+E Networks.

“The content of ‘Death Class’ is such fertile ground for series development,” said Stelzner.

Carpenter and Stelzner are starting to look for a writer to adapt the book to a series.

Carpenter’s move on “Death Class” comes just as she’s wrapped production as a co-star of the ABC/Sony Pictures TV drama pilot “Sea of Fire.”

She’s repped by WME and Untitled Entertainment. Stelzner’s with Amy Schiffman at Intellectual Property Group. Hayasaki is repped by Robbins Office and the option deal was handled by CAA.

"Noah" Screenwriter Addresses the Reason For An All White Cast

The biblical epic "Noah" hit the box office its opening weekend with a strong start but many movie goers left the theater secretly thinking the same thing: Wait a minute. Why was everyone white?

Journalist Christine A. Scheller sat down with the film's screenwriter, Ari Handel, to investigate why there was plenty of diversity with the animals but none when it came to the people in the film.

Fincher Flounces from Jobs Biopic after not getting 10M Upfront and Marketing Control

Sony Pictures is looking to replace David Fincher as director of its highly anticipated Steve Jobs movie due to his aggressive demands for compensation and control, according to several sources.

Fincher is said to be seeking a hefty $10 million up front in fees, as well as control over marketing, in negotiations with the studio. Sony allowed him considerable input into the marketing of the 2011 film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, including honoring his request to use the tagline "The feel bad movie of Christmas" in its campaign. A source says Fincher also had the studio create metal, razor-blade-shaped one-sheet materials for the film that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to produce but were not suitable for display in theaters.

James Franco, Chris O'Dowd and Leighton Meester talk Steinbeck & Broadway

NEW YORK — For James Franco, it was almost the one that got away.

Four years ago, Franco was approached by Anna D. Shapiro, the Tony Award-winning director of August: Osage County, about appearing in a stage production of Of Mice And Men. The famously multi-tasking actor – who also directs, teaches and writes screenplays, short stories and poetry – couldn't squeeze it into his schedule, but was intrigued nonetheless.

Fast forward about a year and a half when Broadway producer David Binder, who had acquired the rights to the play, adapted by John Steinbeck from his classic novella, contacted Franco, with precisely the same idea.

"Anna wasn't involved at that point," Franco, 35, recalls, "but David showed me this article where she had been asked what her dream project was, and she said,Of Mice And Men. And it made perfect sense to have this great female director take on this male-heavy play that hadn't been on Broadway in years." (A 1974 revival featured Kevin Conway and James Earl Jones.)

First Look at Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson in ‘Ex Machina’

We haven’t heard much about Alex Garland’s directorial debut “Ex Machina,” though just the cast itself – Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson and Alicia Vikander – was enough to make it one of our most anticipated films of the year.

Now, the first still image from the film has been released, along with word that Universal has picked up the indie sci-fi drama for distribution. Great news all around! Described as “an intense psychological thriller, played out in a love triangle between two men and a beautiful robot girl. It explores big ideas about the nature of consciousness, emotion, sexuality, truth and lies.” We know from previous reports that Isaac plays a computer genius and the inventor of the robot girl (Vikander), and Gleeson a low-level employee at his company tasked with spending a weekend with her.

No word on a release date yet, but at least now we can be confident we’ll definitely be seeing it this year.

Oscar Pistorius accused of breaking down to avoid difficult questions

Prosecutor suggests athlete is crying during trial for murder of Reeva Steenkamp because he is getting his testimony confused.

Oscar Pistorius was accused on Monday of deliberately breaking down into tearful histrionics to avoid difficult questions about the night he shot dead his girlfriend.

The Paralympic athlete's meltdowns have been a daily feature of his evidence from the witness box at the high-profile murder trial in Pretoria, the capital of South Africa, often forcing the judge to halt proceedings.

On Monday alone he sobbed four times and vomited in court. "Mr Pistorius, you're not using your emotional state as an escape, are you?" state prosecutor Gerrie Nel demanded as the 27-year-old's voice became shrill and he again seemed on the verge of losing on his composure. "You're getting frustrated because your version is improbable and you're getting emotional."
