Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been thrown into the middle of a nasty lawsuit over who was responsible for paying their "Twilight" bonuses. The suit is boring, but what they scored is interesting.
According to legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Robert was given a $300,000 bonus for the first "Twilight." The sum was supposedly based on box office receipts, which totaled $351 MILLION worldwide.
Now here's the plot twist ... When Robert and Kristen went to the bargaining table for "New Moon" -- aka Twilight 2 -- they either drove a hard bargain or realized they had gotten screwed the first time around. According to the lawsuit, producers agreed to pay each of them a $2.5 million for the first "Twilight."
The sequels certainly turned into a cash register for both stars. Pattinson reportedly got $25 million for the 2 installments of "Breaking Dawn" -- plus back-end.

Before embarking on the ‘ARTPOP Ball’ World Tour, Lady Gaga took the stage for the final set of shows at New York City’s storied Roseland Ballroom. The last of which took place Monday night, officially closing down the venue. Lady Gaga received positive reviews for all seven shows she played over the past week and a half and her upcoming tour has seen a benefit. The tour doesn’t start until May 4, but the average price for Lady Gaga ‘ARTPOP Ball’ tickets on the secondary market have gone up 5.3% for ‘ARTPOP Ball’ since the start of the Roseland run.
The second date of the tour, April 6 at Philips Arena has seen one of the biggest increases over the past week at 9%. Lady Gaga Atlanta tickets have an average price of $247.96, 4.4% above the average tour price of $237.44. As the average price has risen above average for this date, the get-in price of $50 has remained on par with the rest of the tour.
Lady Gaga’s return to New York on May 13, this time at Madison Square Garden, is one of the more expensive concerts on the tour. Lady Gaga Madison Square Garden tickets have an average price of $338.81, 42.6% above the tour average, but still cheaper than the average price for the first night at Roseland. The price at The Garden trails only the July 19 concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas that has an average secondary market price of $339.21. The get-in price for MSG is significantly higher, though, $82 compared to Las Vegas’ $50.

Could an Oxford-educated actress with no movie credits to her name land a key role in Star Wars: Episode VII?
Speculation is swirling like the mists of Dagobah around newcomer Maisie Richarsdon-Sellers. Several sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that she is in line to nab an undisclosed and possibly major role in the high-profile Disney/Lucasfilm production, which is in the middle of an extended casting search in London in advance of a May production start date.
On April 2, Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn toldTHR casting for the film was almost complete and some shooting had taken place.
One of the roles the movie has been seeking to fill is a young black or mixed-race woman who may be a descendent of Jedi Knight Ben Kenobi. In the film, which takes place 30 years after the events of 1983's Star Wars: Episode III: Return of the Jedi, the character would cross paths with the children of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. (OriginalStar Wars stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill andCarrie Fisher are expected to reprise their roles, as is Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca.)

Amanda Bynes' mother has taken her off medication and claims she has no mental illness, a statement and turn of events that has left many people alarmed.
Lynn Bynes says the only problem Amanda had was pot, that all her daughter's problems emanated from marijuana, and she has quit smoking weed.
As a result, Amanda is off ALL medications. Lynn said publicly Wednesday that "she has no mental illness whatsoever." Tamar Arminak, Lynn's lawyer, confirms:
"Amanda is now on zero medication."
Her mother feels all the talk about schizophrenia is false and that's why she took her off medication; Amanda has had no psychotic episodes in recent months.
Everyone else who has come in contact with Amanda says she does in fact suffer from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, however, and they are concerned.
The evidence of mental illness is extensive, and not just because of the photo gallery above and her erratic behavior for about a year and a half. Consider:
Amanda was hospitalized against her will. To do this, a person must be "gravely disabled as the result of a mental disorder or impairment by chronic alcoholism."
According to TMZ, while hospitalized, she was given a complex prescription drug cocktail specifically designed for treating Schizophrenia.
While in treatment, she was at times so incoherent that she had to be restrained, and spoke of a "Bad Amanda" while mimicking an exorcism and biting herself.
Amanda's mother won a temporary conservatorship after a court-appointed investigator determined that the actress was severely mentally ill.
The star's lawyers in both California and New York asked for and won delays in her vase-tossing and DUI criminal cases based on mental illness.
You can see why multiple sources connected to the 28-year-old are shocked, alarmed and fearful having heard what Lynn Bynes has unilaterally done.
No matter how much healthier and happier she looks lately, one can't help but question the legitimacy of this diagnosis by Lynn, or fear the consequences.

The first English-language film of South Korean director Bong Joon-Ho, “Snowpiercer” is an apocalyptic, futuristic allegory with many ideological levels. Even if the movie, based on a French graphic novel, occasionally goes off the track, it is a riveting film that offers yet more proof of the director’s considerable talent. For a movie to be this gripping is an achievement in its own right, since we’ve seen so many apocalyptic fantasies already. Bong deserves kudos for managing to bring something new to this well-trod cinematic terrain.
This week’s release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier brought the domestic gross of the nine films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to $2,463,300,000 and counting. Getting ready for this!
In a letter last week, PETA president Ingrid Newkirk asked a real estate agent about the Bath Township home and proposed making it a restaurant “to respond to the past with something positive,” the Akron Beacon Journal reported.
Newkirk compared the way animals were slaughtered to the way Dahmer treated the 17 victims he was convicted of killing.
“We are always looking forward to ways to draw attention to the violence inherent in the production of meat, eggs and milk — which involve processes that would shock all but the most hard-hearted person,” Newkirk wrote, according to the newspaper.
“Dahmer’s old house gives us a way to evoke sympathy for these victims and to suggest that a life-affirming diet can change everything.”
The 2,000-square-foot home on the outskirts of Akron — where Dahmer killed the first of his 17 victims in 1978 — has been on the market since last month.
But a PETA spokesperson told the paper that the animal rights group is serious about the offer and is willing to take whatever steps necessary to open the new food joint. Ingrid Newkirk, president of PETA, sent a letter proposing to buy Dahmer’s childhood home and turn it into a vegan restaurant.
They even revealed a name for the restaurant and listed some of the items they would likely serve.
The eatery, Eat for Life: Home Cooking, would offer entrees like chipotle barbecue tofu kebabs and a vegan creamy chicken casserole — made from faux-chicken and dairy-free sour cream.
Richard Lubinski of Stouffer Realty, who is handling the sale of Dahmer’s former house, said he was not sure if the offer was serious or if the offer was part of a publicity stunt.
Dahmer was notorious for raping, torturing and dismembering his victims. But the deal could help to remove a longtime stain in the community.
“I think it’s great,” Lubinski told the paper. “If they want to buy it and repurpose it, that’s phenomenal.”
The autopsy on Peaches Geldof, who died suddenly aged 25, has proved inconclusive, as police continue to await the results of toxicology tests.
Peaches, who wrote for British magazines and newspapers and presented celebrity-driven television shows, was found dead at her countryside home on Monday.
The local Kent Police force in southeast England said her death was being treated as "a non-suspicious, unexplained sudden death".
"A post-mortem examination held on Wednesday following the death of Peaches Geldof has proved inconclusive pending the result of toxicology analysis," police said in a statement.
"Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death in order to compile a report for the coroner. "The result of a toxicology report can take several weeks."
On the heels of last year's "Beauty Sketches" video, Dove posted another social experiment to YouTube on Wednesday that teaches a powerful lesson about how we perceive ourselves.
A series of women were invited to be a part of a research group to test a product called RB-X — a patch worn directly on the arm. Participants were asked to leave the patch on for 12 hours a day (for two weeks) and record a video diary about how they felt throughout the process.

Canada’s capital city Ottawa experienced an incredible event yesterday – National We Day. We Day is a youth empowernment movement that gathers thousands of teenage volunteers and their teachers for events that gather annually in different cities across the US, Canada and UK, where these people can learn more about how they can get involved with helping to make the world a better place.
This year’s final We Day event, organised by Craig and Marc Kielburger (co-founders of the Free The Children foundation), took place in Ottawa and welcomed more than 16 000 students and teachers from all over Canada. The attendees had the chance to listen to encouraging speeches from such personalities as Martin Luther King III., Her Majesty Queer Noor of Jordan or Spencer West and musical performance by artists like Neverest, Kardinal Offishall and Simple Plan.
Before Simple Plan took to the stage, they walked the We Day red carpet and attended a press conference. There, Pierre spoke about his admiration of Free The Children’s work: “(Free the Children is) really trying to inspire kids to do things hands-on, to kind of get involved, instead of just standing back and talking about it or criticizing it.”

What the WHAT...
Ahead of its time for predicting reality TV (while cranking the concept up to a fantastical, satirical level at the same time), 1998’s The Truman Show posited a world where a series could be built around one unsuspecting person, whose entire existence was a fabrication and whose life was watched by millions. Paramount thinks it might work as a show itself and has the idea in development.
Peter Weir’s film, which starred Jim Carrey as living subject Truman Burbank, explored what would happen if Truman suddenly found out that his life was a lie.
It was certainly a compelling concept for a film, though such a well-contained and well-executed story that you do wonder what angle a series could take. No details have been released about the potential telly version, though there is scope for a longer arc about a man slowly finding out the truth about his world and the paranoia that might provoke. The big question will be whether it could live up to the movie’s impact.

As we reported, the rapper announced yesterday he and Naya had called off their wedding -- we're told B.S. made the decision weeks ago after realizing his fiancee was way too controlling.
Our sources say Naya demanded to know where he was at all times and would threaten him by saying things like, "If you don't listen to what I say, I'll ruin your career."
We're told she was suspicious whenever Sean was with other women and would work herself up into jealous rages ... once breaking an expensive lamp during a rampage in his home.

According to TMZ, Chris Brown finally made the trek from an LA County lockup facility to a DC area jail. It reportedly took 5 days for Chris to fly with Federal Marshals from point A to point B and he is rumored to have been in restraint chains around his ankles and midsection the entire time.
But now TMZ is reporting that the jail he sits in while he awaits his latest trial in DC is much cushier and more plush than anything he experienced at the LA County correctional facility.
And since his attorney’s couldn’t get him out of this trial or get the current battery charges dropped..it’s a good thing the jail is more comfy than the last one he was at because he will have to sit there for a while until this situation is resolved.
Unlike his last jail home… he gets to shower as much as he wants! Last time he reportedly could only take a shower once every two days.
An administrator at Northern Neck Regional Jail in Virginia confirms Chris is currently an inmate. The administrator was sure to make clear that Chris isn’t getting special treatment.
Chris has been placed in limited general population with no restrictions! Meaning he gets to enjoy all the amenities of the facility, including:
– Daily showers
— Meals in the cafeteria
While this looks like Trump Towers compared to the hole he was thrown in to at the L.A. jail where he was locked down in solitary 23 hours a day there is still something that ain’t so great about it. He must take group showers and he will be circulating among the other inmates.
If even one inmate with nothing to lose and a love for Rihanna approaches him….Breezy could be in trouble…quickly.
Hang tough Chris!

Woody Allen is under fire for failing to have any black gangsters in his Broadway musical about legendary 1920s Harlem nightspot, the Cotton Club.
Allen insists he always casts regardless of race, but the New York Daily News cites a source as saying the quirky filmmaker specifically requested there be no African-American stars in his show.
'Bullets Over Broadway' is an adaption of Allen's 1994 screenplay of the same name and stars Zach Braff as the lead.
'Everyone's white at Woody’s Cotton Club and in the gangster numbers,' a Broadway insider told the Daily News' Confidential.
The source told the newspaper a big-name African-American actor was being considered but Woody pulled out, deciding for some reason that 'a black gangster wouldn't be good,' despite the play being set in Harlem.

Brie Larson (Short Term 12) is set to star as Ma in the adaptation of Emma Donoghue‘s 2010 best-seller Room about a kidnapped woman living in captivity with her 5-year-old son. Donoghue wrote the script for director Lenny Abrahamson (What Richard Did, Frank). Lisa Schwarzbaum gave the book an A- and wrote: “Though the story’s chilling circumstances reflect the horrors endured by tabloid-famous abductees, Donoghue avoids all sensationalism. Instead, she gracefully distills what it means to be a mother — and what it’s like for a child whose entire world measures just 11 x 11.”
This book is amazing and I'm really not sure how it'll work as a film, as it's from Jack's POV, but Brie is great and I'm way relieved that the author wrote the script herself.

Lord Jamar has frequented the VladTV couch more times than one can count and he’s back again, this time targeting Kanye West’s recent assault case against a man who called his fiancé Kim Kardashian a “ni**er lover.”
“Your man Kanye just paid $250,000 to a nigga that just called his bitch a fuckin’ nigger-lover and all this crazy shit,” Lord Jamar said. “And he had to pay that in order to not have to pay more…I told you earlier that people think they can come at Kanye now cause he’s emasculated himself. You know what I mean? Like didn’t I—They’re not gonna say that to just anybody.”
On January 13, Kanye West was reported to have assaulted an 18-year-old boy in the waiting room of a Beverly Hills chiropractor’s office. The boy screamed out several racist profanity-filled statements toward the Kardashian including, “Fuck you, bitch. Just trying to help you. Shut up nigger lover, stupid slut,” and “Fuck these faggot-ass niggers.” West showed up to the scene shortly after and allegedly punched the arrogant kid.
In order to prevent any criminal prosecution charges, West paid the boy $250,000 on January 29th in a civil settlement.
Jamar later went on to say, “Ask yourself if 50’s girl would get that attack, if Game’s girl would get that attack, even Gucci Mane, Jay-Z…none of those mother fuckers would get that kind of attack. So what did he have to do to prove he wasn’t emasculated? He had to put his hands all over this mother fucker.”
Kanye West has been a topic for the Brand Nubian member in the past, after making comments towards West’s infamous kilt trend and promoting the confederate flag in his clothing line.
Lord Jamar believed the whole situation could have been avoided if West made the right moves.

When JJJ heard the mumblings of Mindless Behavior going down to three members late last year, we didn’t want to believe it, but it was true.
Now, we’re so excited to exclusively announce the new member of the band, who will join Princeton, Ray Ray and Roc Royal — EJ!
Hailing from Detroit, the 16-year-old musician, who has been friends with the band for a long time, joined the group earlier this year after starring as Simba in the touring production of The Lion King when he was younger.
“I am living my dream and being a part of this project has been amazing and a true blessing! I plan to do big things with these guys! I am so grateful for the opportunity,” EJ tells JJJ.
Stay tuned for brand-new music from MB coming soon!

Kylie Jenner is just gifted with good looks.
Regardless of having visual evidence that great genes run in her family (seriously, she has four sisters who are all gorgeous!), some media outlets have sparked speculation that the E! star's attention-grabbing features are thanks to plastic surgery.
Um, no, first of all. Second of all, that really hurts Kylie's feelings.
The brunette beauty took to Twitter to slam the rumors that she's gone under the knife and to add that she finds it "insulting."

It's been nearly two years since we've heard anything about "Genius," so we'll bring you back up to speed. The long-developing project has moved in fits and starts over the years, getting a boost in 2012 when Colin Firth and Michael Fassbender signed up for the lead roles, with promises of production starting in early 2014. Well, we're in early 2014 and it looks like the wheels on this one are turning again, with another big star apparently joining.
According to The New York Daily News, they caught up with Firth at "The Railway Man" premiere and he told the paper that he'd next be collaborating with co-star Nicole Kidman on "Genius" (they've already got another movie, the thriller "Before I Go To Sleep," in the can).

As TMZ first reported, Bieber posted a photo of himself in a Bugatti that he referred to as "my first Bugatti" ... but it was just a loaner from Birdman.
Then on Wednesday, Bieber posted a pic on board a yacht called "Never Say Never" -- which just happens to be the name of his concert film. But TMZ has learned Bieber does NOT own the boat ... not even close. The boat is registered to a family trust based in Coral Cables, FL.
Here's why Justin is particularly stupid for trying to lay claim to the yacht -- it's the same boat Lonely Island used for their LEGENDARY video, "I'm on a Boat."
If you want to make it in the rap game, Justin ... might want to start getting your own stuff instead of borrowing other people's.
“What was going through my head? Like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ But it was so quick, and you get back up. I believe the pants I had on, there was a loop or something where my heel kind of got caught in it. So we just knew that, okay, there’s got to be more than one camera. There has to be. But when I saw it back, okay, oh my God, it was just a one shot of us. But that was 10 years ago. I’m over it. Many great things happened since then for me. But because of YouTube and stuff like that, it lives on forever.”
“Regardless of what people do or say about me, I am always blessed. There are no moments that you left out, but I’m sure out of boredom or out of sheer fascination of myself, you’re going to find it. The fact that people sit and search for this stuff? I am on your mind daily. So I thank you so much for making me relevant every single day…I have you all to thank for that. Thank you so much! My accounts are bigger because of you. Thanks. Shoes, clothes, houses, cars–blessings! Thanks!”

You got us, Noel Fisher. You got us right in the heart.
It's been quite a season for Fisher, who portrays Mickey Milkovich on the vastly underrated Shameless. Over the past several weeks, we saw Mickey and Ian's relationship take center stage, offering quite an evolution for Fisher's character. He has taken Mickey from ultra-closeted thug to the man in the most fiercely committed relationship on the show.
There's no denying the magnitude of his series arc – his Season 4 story alone is nothing to sneeze at. The audience was in Mickey's thrall from the moment he first butted heads with his Russian prostitute wife and began not-so-subtly pining for Ian. We drew in further once Ian was back on the scene: fans cheered when Mickey finally relented on his self-hate enough to admit that he and Ian were together. His coming out brawl was even better – Mickey regaling his father with details from his love life, all while the pair was handcuffed on the hoods of adjacent police cars, was a scene for the ages. In fact, the scene was only topped by the ensuing head-kiss/profane banter with Ian, which was plentiful in "aww" factor. And to think this time last season, he was brutally beating Ian to a pulp. That's some character development, y'all.
Shameless is a show of highs and lows. Of juxtaposition – more specifically, of how much awfulness you can temper with just a little sweetness. And Fisher's Mickey has become the embodiment of that contrast that the show has so carefully created. It's not a balance easily maintained, but Fisher does it masterfully.
It's generally the big stars like William H. Macy and Joan Cusack that tend to pick up the accolades, but Fisher has more than earned his place among the greats: his Mickey is fascinating, from everything from what has become an endearing capacity for violence and foul language, right down to the way he haphazardly swings his arms as he walks.
We can't wait to see how he weathers Ian's bipolar disorder in Season 5.
Yeah, ya are.
British singer Duncan James calls himself gay, but says he could still have sex with a woman.
The boyband member came out as bisexual back in 2009, and later identified as gay.
Speaking exclusively to Gay Star News, the Blue member said he realises people like people like him to be ‘put in a box’.
He said: ‘I think to myself, I sleep with men, so that makes me gay.
‘Regardless of whether I sleep with women or not, I’m still sleeping with men so I’m gay.
‘So I’m still attracted to women, I could still easily sleep with a woman. I haven’t in the last couple of years but I think if I meet a girl I could still have a relationship with her.’
He continued: ‘I could still be romantically and sexually attracted involved with a girl.
‘But I still call myself gay. I’m a gay guy. I like men, so that makes me gay.
‘Don’t get me wrong, I think people can be bisexual. When I came out as bisexual at the time, it was just easier to use the word.
‘I do say I’m gay, but I don’t really care about labels. I don’t really care if people want to call me bisexual or gay.’
James is not the only Brit who previously identified as bisexual to make the headlines this month.
Olympic diver Tom Daley, who said he still fancied girls in his coming out video four months ago, said he considers himself a ‘gay man now.’
And pop star Jessie J caused controversy when she described her bisexuality a ‘phase’. She now says she only fancies, dates and loves ‘only men’.

Eight years on from their debut, Alex Turner et al explain why their fifth album AM is more than a return to form: it's the record that has broken Arctic Monkeys in the US.
In 2014, Arctic Monkeys are enjoying their most successful year yet. Every so often, a band emerges to define the times not just for a generation of music fans but for a whole era – The Clash, The Smiths, Oasis, The Strokes. Where Arctic Monkeys may be unique is that they have now managed that role twice. There are people, significant amounts of people, for whom AM is the first Arctic Monkeys album they’ve discovered.
