I need this album in my life already
Scary as it may sound, the very not-politics-at-its-finest “Veep” paints an honest picture of life in D.C. “Veep’s” creative talent, speaking at Paleyfest Thursday night, have been startled by how close they are getting it right from the feedback they’ve gotten from Capitol Hill staffers.
“It’s been gratifying to hear people who are watching it say it’s accurate – frightening – but gratifying,” said Armando Iannucci, the show’s executive producer, director and writer. “I’ve been told by Obama’s press office that they’ve just come out of a meeting and there were two Jonahs and three Dans there.” (Played by Timothy Simons and Reid Scott, respectively)
Today in Things That Will Make You Feel All Warm and Fuzzy Inside, Justin Timberlake premiered his new video for "Not a Bad Thing" on Ellen, which doubles as a documentary about the search for a couple who got engaged on the Long Island Railroad to the tune of the same track.
As the documentarians scour New York City for their mystery couple – goofy text message pop-ups included – the video includes a bunch of heartwarming interviews with couples about their own proposals, as well as the struggles and rewards of finding love, or letting love find you. While it looks like the filmmakers may have found the lovebirds, the clip ends with a "To be continued…" message. Following the clip, Ellen DeGeneres asked viewers to get in touch with the show if they know the couple so Timberlake can finally meet them. So for now, it seems, the search for true love continues.RS

As Drew Goddard's DAREDEVIL series gets closer to production, we still have not yet learned who will be playing the Man Without Fear. Netflix and Marvel, to keep production budget down, could cast an unknown in the lead role, but that may also prohibit the eventual crossover potential for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With that in mind, this rumor sounds pretty spot on. But keep in mind the word rumor as there is very little to substantiate this. Still, it is an intriguing prospect worth discussion.
The Comic Book Cast podcast explained their thoughts on the rumor that Drew Goddard and Netflix are eyeing DEXTER star Michael C. Hall for the role of Matt Murdoch on the series. The rumor first surfaced on the Marvel Cinematic Universe Facebook page from a source claiming to be close to the production.
While this is far from being confirmed, it is an interesting choice. Hall built a fanbase from his runs on SIX FEET UNDER and DEXTER and is fully capable of playing both dark and intense. At 43, Hall may be a bit old to headline a superhero series, but I wouldn't be opposed to dropping right into the middle of a DAREDEVIL in his prime rather than doing another origin story.
Whether this pans out or not, it is definitely an intriguing choice that I wouldn't rule out. DAREDEVIL is likely to premiere later this year on Netflix.
