It's a girl! Princess Madeleine of Sweden gave birth in New York City Thursday night. 'Teen Mom 2' Star -- Rescued From Fiery Car Crash

Adam Lind -- who appeared on MTV's "Teen Mom 2" -- was pulled from the mangled wreckage of his Corvette Friday ... just moments before it exploded in flames.

Law enforcement tells us ... Lind was driving his 2001Corvette Z06 really, really fast in Sioux Falls, SD when he collided with a Lincoln Town Car. Cops say the Lincoln was driven by an 87-year-old woman, who had a 94-year-old passenger.

Some VERY good Samaritans saw the crash and ran to the mangled vehicles, pulling everyone out seconds before the Corvette lit up like a torch.

We're told Lind and the elderly couple were taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

iirc, he's been arrested for multiple DUIs in the past as well. He sounds like a danger on the road tbh.

Justin Bieber -- DUI Plea Deal Offered ... No Sizzurp, No Weed

Justin Bieber has become the next contestant in a high-stakes game of Let's Make a Deal ... and door #1 is JAIL. Door #2 is way better, but he has to be sober.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the Florida State Attorney has offered Justin a plea deal in his DUI/resisting arrest case ... and we know the terms.

Prosecutors will DROP the DUI and resisting arrest charges, but in return Bieber must:

-- Plead no contest to reckless driving

-- Complete 40 hours of community service

-- Attend an alcohol ed course

-- Attend a "victim impact panel" (where relatives of DUI victims share their stories)

-- Install an ignition interlock device for 3 months

Now here's the rub. Prosecutors also want Bieber to submit to random drug testing, and not just in Florida. He'll have to submit his travel plans to the court and authorities will set up random testing wherever he happens to be ... at his expense. And testing will last between 6 and 9 months.

Assuming he complies with all the terms and PASSES the drug tests, the reduced plea will formally be entered.

The question -- Will Bieber accept the deal or risk trial, where worst case scenario he could end up in the pokey.

Miley Cyrus 'Bangerz' Tour? It's Got Nothing On Madonna's MDNA

If Miley Cyrus thinks 'Bangerz' is contraversial she might want to watch Madonna's MDNA tour

Miley Cyrus might be making headlines with her ‘Bangerz’ tour, but the Queen of Pop Madonna might have something to say to anyone naming it the most controversial tour ever. Sure Miley has the parents up in arms, but it only takes a tweak for that to happen, back in 2012 Madonna pushed the boundaries of politics and freedom of speech on her infamous 'MDNA' tour.

In 2012 Madonna proved that entering her fifties could do nothing to tame her. The then 53 year old singer embarked on a world tour entitled ‘MDNA’ and faced controversy in France, Russia, UK and the United States over the show’s political themes, depictions of violence and, yes Miley, even nudity.

Most of Miley’s 'Bangerz' controversy centres around a Bill Clinton mask, a cannabis leotard and the kind of dancing we’ve come to expect from the girl who made twerking the buzz word of 2013. Let’s start with the Bill Clinton drama. Many of Miley’s fans might be too young to know who Monica Lewinsky is or be totally clued up on why the ex-President is so closely associated with cigars, but after viewing Miley’s on stage pictures they’ve probably wikipedia’ed it.

Jennifer Lopez-Fronted Drama Series Shades of Blue Snags 13-Episode Series Order at NBC

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Jennifer Lopez is going undercover for NBC.

In a major coup for the Peacock network, the actress-singer-American Idol judge will star (yes, star) in and exec-produce an hour-long drama series titled Shades of Blue.

The project, which has already received a 13-episode straight-to-series order from NBC, “is a complex police series that centers on Harlee McCord (Lopez), a single mother and detective recruited to work undercover for the FBI’s anti-corruption task force. Part of a close-knit unit known for its conviction record, Harlee has become compromised by her colleagues — all of whom also pitch in to help her raise her daughter — and finds herself faced with the moral dilemma of working against her cop brothers in order to redeem herself.”

The series will be written by Adi Hasak (3 Days to Kill, From Paris with Love), who will serve as an EP alongside Lopez’ American Idol colleague with Ryan Seacrest. Production isn’t set to begin until 2015 ahead of a Fall 2015  premiere.

“Whether its producing, acting, singing or any of her other many entrepreneurial activities, Jennifer is an extraordinary talent and life force, and we’re delighted to be in business with her and Adi Hasak on this sophisticated show,” said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke in a statement. “We’re especially excited that Jennifer is returning to her acting roots from such great movies as Out of Sight and we know that she will create this complicated character in a vivid way that will breathe new life into the cop show genre.”

Graham Norton is furious over RTE's homophobia payout to gay marriage opponents

Presenter Graham Norton has called Irish broadcaster RTE's decision to pay opponents of gay marriage an 85,000 euros settlement "absolutely moronic".

It came after Catholic lobby group the Iona Institute and two prominent Irish journalists threatened legal action after being described as homophobic on an episode of the Saturday Night Show.

Norton told Irish magazine Hot Press he was "furious" about RTE's decision.

He also said gay marriage opponents were "out of touch" with new Ireland.

"I'm not registered to vote in Ireland but I do pay the licence fee there," said Norton, adding that he was "furious that some of my money has gone to these idiots".

Toni Braxton joins ‘Bethenny’ and discusses divorce: ‘We are very Caucasian, very white about it’

Toni Braxton joined Bethenny this week to discuss the latest developments in her personal and professional lives and raised eyebrows with a few of the comments she made.

The six-time Grammy-Award-winning singer shared her thoughts on co-parenting her two children, Denim, 12, and Diezel, 10, and her relationship with her ex-husband Keri Lewis.

“I am in LA and my ex-husband is there but we get along great. We are very Caucasian, very white about it,” Braxton told Bethenny.

Bethenny responded, saying: “You are having a very white divorce?” to which Braxton confirmed. “We are really. We did.”

Braxton and Lewis were married for eight years and split in 2009 – their divorce was final in July of last year but the two still communicate and co-parent their two children.

The singer went on to explain what a black divorce was and referenced a scene from the film Baby Boy.

“I got that means, I hate you Jodi, I hate you Jodi. That’s what it means to black people.”

Matthew McConaughey Admits He Watches Each Episode of True Detective Multiple Times

True Detective fans, prepare to be jealous!

During an interview with Queen Latifah on The Queen Latifah Show airing Friday, Feb. 21, McConaughey admits he's just as much a fan of the series as viewers are. We've got an exclusive clip from his sitdown with Latifah, in which he talks about watching each episode multiple times and working with Harrelson, one of his closest friends...

"They sent me all eight episodes a couple of months ago and I started to watch them and I said, 'No, I want to do what everybody else does: I want to watch one a week and then sit on it a week," McConaughey explains of resisting the urge to binge-watch the entire season.

And Queen Latifah speaks for all of us at home when she says, "If we had all eight episodes there's no way we'd sit on them!"

McConaughey also admits to watching each episode of True Detective, one of HBO's highest-rated dramas in recent years, multiple times, saying, "I go back and watch it two, three times and I'm seeing something different every time and I made it!"

To hear McConaughey talk about how "tough" it was to go at it with Harrelson on-screen, watch our exclusive clip from his appearance on The Queen Latifah Show above!

The 30-year-old Fight For This Love singer was headed for Milan Fashion Week when she was spotted at the city’s airport with her PA in tow, on Friday morning.

Wearing the shortest of miniskirts, Cheryl certainly attracted attention to herself with her bare legs looking toned and tanned as she strolled through the car park.

Sex and the City 10 Years Later: The Final Rankings

It's been a decade since HBO’s beloved series went off the air, so we figured it was time to look back and see what still works, and what doesn't.

On Saturday, February 22, it will have been 10 years since the end of Sex and the City, Darren Starr and Michael Patrick King’s ravishingly decadent romantic romp through pre-crash New York City. Ten years and two movies later, the show has ceded its cultural prominence, as a new generation fixes its eyes on an entirely different kind of aspirationalism. What that aspiration is, exactly, isn’t yet clear, but the days when thousands, if not millions, of young women trained their gaze on a city life of flashy careers and upscale brunches and fabulous parties seem decidedly over.

If, of course, they ever existed in the first place. There’s no doubt that Sex and the City had some pretty hefty cultural influence, elevating once-niche luxury brands to household-name status, serving as inspiration for countless blogs and articles about dating and city life and, anecdotally anyway, leading to a huge uptick in brunching. But really, who knows how many people actually followed the show's siren call to Manhattan, only to face inevitable disappointment.

A decade later, those trends are largely gone, but there’s still the show—this great, thrilling, maddening, occasionally dumb show. As a longtime fan of the show who hadn’t watched an episode in some time owing to exhaustion—I probably tore through the whole series at least twice in 2005 and 2006—I decided to re-watch the entire thing recently to see how it looks now that its of-the-moment modernness has given way to vintage charm. Here’s a ranking of the seasons, from worst to best, as it looks a decade later.

Is Amber Heard the new Angelina Jolie?

In August, Amber Heard gushed to Vanity Fair: “I can’t think of anyone who’s better accomplished, [with] the kind of trajectory I admire, than Angelina Jolie.” Lately, Heard, 27, seems to have stepped right into Jolie’s heels — getting engaged to the only A-lister cooler than Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp (he even owns his own island!); leg-bombing the Golden Globes in a slit-to-there gown. And if you’ve seen Heard in her new film “3 Days to Kill,” you might wonder: How is that sexy CIA agent not Jolie?

“Marrying into a secret island lair is ‘out-Jolie-ing’ Jolie. If Amber dusts off a brother and gets to second base with him in public, it’s checkmate,” says screenwriter Dan Ewen, referring to Jolie’s infamous liplock with her brother. Here, a look at how imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Snooks is reportedly a few months pregnant but is keeping things under wraps so it doesn't torpedo some lucrative appearances she has lined up -- according to Page Six.

Sources close to the couple told TMZ a similar story this week ... but we got radio silence from her camp.

Great timing ... Snooki just penned a book called "Baby Bumps" about her first pregnancy in 2012.

Aww, I'm excited for her. She's planning a wedding and pregnant at the same time as Jwoww.

Sochi won't be last of Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir

Tara and Johnny

SOCHI, Russia — Don't worry, America. Figure skating at the Sochi Olympics may be over, but you haven't seen the last of Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski.

The duo are leaving Sochi following their last show for NBC and heading to Los Angeles, where they'll critique fashion at the Oscars for Access Hollywood.

"We already have people pulling clothes," he told USA TODAY Sports on Saturday night. "We're going to be ready. And we're going to bring it."

This was the first Winter Games as broadcasters for Lipinski, the 1998 gold medalist, and Weir, a two-time Olympian. NBC signed them to do commentary for NBC Sports Network, its cable channel that streamed the entire event.

"We came into this thinking, `OK, Johnny and I going to do our best. We're rookies," Lipinski said.

"And we'll see you in four years when we're better!" Weir chimed in.

Instead, they proved to be the runaway hit of the games.

There’s a Very Good Reason Why Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” Video Is Set in Ancient Egypt

At first glance, Katy Perry’s latest music video, the Egypt-themed fantasy “Dark Horse,” seems to bear little resemblance to actual Egyptian history — but you might want to look twice. The clip’s director says there’s good reason for the Egyptian references, and prominent Egyptologists say that reason is good enough for them.

“[Perry] said that there’s actually a place in Egypt called Memphis, and she thought it was so interesting that Juicy J is from Memphis, Tenn.,” explains director Mathew Cullen. “She basically came to me and said, ‘I want to do something Egyptian and I want to combine it with Memphis hip-hop.’ That’s music to my ears — when an artist has a couple concepts that they want to mash up to create something fresh.”

Cullen says that while there was no on-site Egyptologist involved in the Los Angeles video shoot, they researched the period online to better “respect the symbolism” while having fun. Though Perry has been criticized for appropriating the symbols and images of other cultures — and has been under attack for “Dark Horse” for the same reasons — Cullen says he believes that while it’s dangerous to rip things directly from modern cultures without adding anything to them, ancient Egypt is part of what he calls our “shared collective mythology.”

“We’re only here because we build on the stories of every human being since the beginning of mankind,” he says. “The most important thing is that when you create something, and this is actually something Katy and I worked to do — you bring a new spin to it.”

And as it so happens, Perry and Cullen (who also directed the “California Gurls” video) did a pretty good job building on those stories.

Full disclosure: when I called up some Egyptologists to ask them about Katy Perry, I was fully expecting them to trash the video. The inaccuracies in her similarly-themed performance of the song at the Brits have already been pointed out, and fans who are sticklers for history were turned off the video. But the reality was very different.

Atlanta's Rich Are Protesting Justin Bieber's Impending Residency

According to TMZ, Justin Bieber is looking to buy a massive mansion in Atlanta's tony Buckhead neighborhood because he wants to be close to the city's rap scene lick stripper nipples. The rich people of Buckhead are less than enthused about his move.

In fact, a group of them called the "Buckhead Neighborhood Coalition" is staging a protest on Monday at 421 Blackland Road, which happens to be the exact address of the $11 million dollar home Bugatti Biebs has his eye on. On the Facebook page for the event, the be-ascotted lay out their case:

As a community here in Buckhead, we have worked hard to achieve our goals and get to where we are. Justin Bieber's relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children, as well as the community. Some can't even let their children play in the driveway without fear; he has raced vehicles under the influence, before. What's to say he won't do it again? As a home owner down the street from this residence, one can assume many people will be contacting real estate agents soon enough.

I'll give them this: Justin Bieber will probably drive drunk and/or stoned down Blackland Road at some point, if he hasn't already. That's going to happen.

But, naturally, this protest isn't really about Bieber. It's about anyone who might puncture the bubble that Buckhead's finest have created for themselves by just working so damn harder than everyone else:

Please do not allow a child to ruin what we have worked so hard to obtain.

Jesse Eisenberg to publish collection of short stories in 2015

Jesse Eisenberg, the fast-talking, nerdtastic actor from The Social Network who is Mark Zuckerberg as far as I’m concerned, will be publishing a collection of his short stories in 2015. Eisenberg has already written two plays, Asuncion and The Revisionist, the latter of which was performed on Broadway by Eisenberg and Vanessa Redgrave.

This isn’t a James Franco situation where he’s trying to pass off his snapchats as performance art (lol). Eisenberg is truly a talented writer. The story collection will included previously published pieces from The New Yorker and McSweeney’s, as well as new stuff. For a taste of his work, check out his column in McSweeney’s called “Bream Gives Me Hiccups: Restaurant Reviews from a Privileged Nine-Year-Old,” which is written from a little boy’s perspective as he’s dragged around Los Angeles by his mother who bills all their meals to her ex-husband. Hilarious and poignant.

Lifetime’s violence, murder, incest: Is this what women really want to watch?

With characters like the murderous Lizzie Borden, a family tale of incest in Flowers in the Attic and now the new Facebook murder-mystery Status: Unknown, Lifetime is taking women’s programming to the edge — but is it paying off?

In July 2013, Lifetime Television posted these incredible stats about their increase in ratings on their parent network's website, A&ENetworks.com: “Network posts +10% Jump among Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, +9% Growth with Women 25-54; and +3% in Adults 18-49.”
Clearly, their market share is growing fast.

So how is the women-focused network able keep expanding viewership? We spoke with Vanessa Parise, director of the upcoming original Lifetime movie Status: Unknown, to find out why violent and taboo stories are so popular with women.

Punters flock to bet on Louis Tomlinson injury in Doncaster Rovers game

Punters have been betting on Doncaster boy band sensation Louis Tomlinson to get injured during his Doncaster Rovers debut next week.

The Bessacarr One Direction star is due to pull on the red and white hoops in a reserve game against Rotherham United at the Keepmoat Stadium on Wednesday night.

But punters have been flocking to pile money on the star leaving the pitch injured - with some bookies offering odds as generous as 40-1 in the match ending in disaster for the singer.

It comes after the star was forced to cancel his appearance in an earlier Rovers’ reserve fixture against Scunthorpe United after he was injured in a tackle by Aston Villa ace Gabriel Agbonlahor at a charity game in Celtic last autumn.

The boy band hunk was forced to hobble off the pitch following the challenge and ended up vomiting in the full glare of the cameras.

Bookmakers are offering a string of bets for the game which will kick off at 7pm

He is 16-1 to score first and 9-2 to score during the game.

Other offers include 3-1 he will remove his shirt after scoring a goal, 16-1 on him bagging a hat-trick, 66-1 on getting sent off and 12-1 to score an own goal.

More obscure bets included being sick on the pitch (75-1), Simon Cowell presenting him with the man of the match award (10-1), playing in a Premier League game before the end of 2015 at 1000-1 and 5000-1 on playing in the 2018 World Cup.

The Sacrament’ Unveils a New Red-Band Trailer and Poster Meant to Recruit You Into the Flock

In recent years dramatic features like Martha Marcy May Marlene and Kill List, and even documentaries like The Source Family, have seemed to have started a movement that has brought the subject of cult to the forefront of movie thrillers. Perhaps the zombie craze and the vampire craze are finally over, and the next big thing is going to be films of all sorts that tap into the fringe groups of the late 60s and early 70s for inspiration. If we get a misguided movie aimed at tweens where a bookish young girl comes out of her shell after starting an unlikely romance with her school’s dreamy Charles Manson-type, we’ll know we’ve stumbled into a full-on trend.

Before the movement can reach its mainstream peak, however, we’ve probably still got some room for a couple more artistically-driven filmmakers to make a couple more legitimately creepy movies about cults, and to that end modern horror master Ti West (The House of the Devil, The Innkeepers) is getting ready to release his next feature, The Sacrament.

It’s a found-footage affair about a group of documentarians visiting a cult called Eden Parish, and getting more than they bargained for. Click through to get a glimpse of the carnage, but be warned, the red-band before this trailer only seems to be there because of a little bit of blood and destruction, so don’t expect anything too gruesome to be given away.

Garcelle Beauvais Wants Beyonce to be Sexy Without Showing Everything

Actress Garcelle Beauvais thinks Beyonce can be sexy without “everything showing out grinding.”
In a recent interview published on the Hello Beautiful blog, the actress, best known for her roles on “The Jamie Foxx Show” and ”Family Matters,” shared her opinion on what it is like to be a sex symbol in Hollywood.
“For me, you’re obviously flattered when someone calls you sexy or thinks you’re sexy,” she said. “I think that’s great. But, for me now, there’s so many ways to be sexy without being overt about it. I think you can wear a great short dress, but if you have long sleeves and you’re only showing leg.”
Beauvais said that she wants to remain sexy as she ages, but she will do it in a classy manner.
“I love Beyonce. I love her,” said the 47-year-old actress. “I think she’s beautiful and talented. But I think there has to be a fine line where you have to take responsibility for what you do. I think it’s good to be sexy, but sexy can come across in so many different ways. It doesn’t have to be everything showing out grinding, all of the time.”
Beyonce recently donned a revealing costume while performing “Drunk In Love” at the Grammy Awards with husband Jay Z.

HEROES IS BACK! New miniseries coming back in 2015

NBC teased a plan to revive the “Heroes” franchise as an event miniseries next year during Saturday’s telecast of Olympics coverage.

The brief spot featured a fade-in on the “Heroes” logo with the word “Reborn” added along with “Coming 2015.”

There had been rumors last year that the Peacock was looking to revive the mystery-fantasy drama, created by Tim Kring, that aired from 2006-2010. Kring is set to exec produce 13 new episodes.

“The enormous impact ‘Heroes’ had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening,” said NBC Entertainment prexy Jennifer Salke. “Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another installment. We’re thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept. Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in.”

ETA: The trailer is here - it'll be 13 episodes on NBC sometime next year.
