Check out Jake Gyllenhaal and Jake Gyllenhaal in the Trailer for Enemy

A24 has released the trailer and poster for Enemy, the new film from Denis Villeneuve that re-teams the Prisoners director with leading man Jake Gyllenhaal, this time setting the actor up in double roles.

Also starring Isabella Rossellini, Melanie Laurent and Sarah Gadon, Enemy is based on the novel "The Double" by Jose Saramongo. It opens in limited theaters on March 14.

Enemy tells the story of a university lecturer named Adam (Gyllenhaal) who is nearing the end of a relationship with his girlfriend Mary (Laurent). One night, while watching a film, Adam spots a minor actor who looks just like him. Consumed by the desire to meet his double, Adam tracks down Anthony, an actor living with his pregnant wife Helen (Gadon) and engages him in a complex and dangerous struggle. The film is a haunting and provocative psychosexual thriller about duality and identity, where in the end only one man will survive.

Shia LaBeouf rocks a ripped shirt while visiting an art gallery with a close gal pal on Friday (January 31) in los Angeles.

“I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE,” the 27-year-old actor tweeted on the same day for the thirteenth time.

A few weeks ago, Shia shared on Twitter that he was retiring from public life after being criticized for plagiarizing famed artist Daniel Clowes.

Juan Pablo goes too far with one of the ladies "Maybe I made a mistake the other night"

"I don't want to make the wrong choices."
But Juan Pablo Galavis may have already made a decision he'll regret on The Bachelor, one he never wants his daughter to see!
While Sean Lowe and his new bride Catherine Guidici famously waited until their wedding night to get intimate for the first time, not all Bachelors feel the need to wait before taking things to the next level with any of the contestants.
And it seems that's exactly what Juan Pablo does in Monday's episode of the ABC reality hit.
But it looks like it may be too much too soon, as we have an exclusive sneak peek at fallout between the single father and Clare, one of the front-runners, after the couple goes "too far"!

"Maybe I made a mistake the other night," Juan Pablo says in the clip, talking about his alone time with Clare on a previous night. "I don't want to regret something."
Clare, of course, is pretty devastated when Juan Pablo talks to her about this, bringing up his 4-year-old daughter, Camila. "I don't want her to see what happened...if she sees it," he explains.
In the episode description released by ABC, it reveals that Juan Pablo eyes Clare for some one-on-one time alone in his private pool during a beachside cocktail party. And during their date, Clare, a 32-year-old hairstylist from Sacramento, makes him a daring offer in order to get more time with him. Feel free to draw your own conclusions at any time.

Watch our exclusive clip above to find out what Clare says to Juan Pablo after he says they may have made a "mistake."

Miley Cyrus: I’m not trying to replicate Madonna

Miley Cyrus talked with Keltie Knight on The Insider about her latest performance with Madonna for “Miley Cyrus: MTV Unplugged”.

I hope I’m next to the young one, the up and comer in the whatever it is…
I want to always embrace new artists.
I want to continue to evolve with the artists.
That’s what’s so cool about Madonna doing that.
Not looking at me as someone that just looks at her and tries… because I’m not trying to replicate her or be her.
We’re standing for a similar freedom.

About encouraging women to embrace their sexual freedom…

It’s even easier for me than it was for Madonna.
So I think it’s going to get easier and easier as generations go on.
Women are gonna be more accepted to be free and embrace sexuality.
Hopefully I can be there to kind of encourage that for the artists of the time in 20 years.

Bryan Singer Says "X-Men: Apocalypse" Will NOT Bring Original Trilogy Cast

It was recently announced that just two years after "X-Men: Days of Future Past" hits theaters, 20th Century Fox will release "X-Men: Apocalypse" and will bring back Bryan Singer to direct.

In a new interview with Empire magazine, Singer cleared up that "Apocalypse" will be a sequel to "Days of Future Past," but will not bring back any of the characters from the original "X-Men" trilogy.

The helmer went on to hint what the story of the sequel will be. He said: "What would people thousands of years ago, without the benefit of science, think mutants were? And more importantly, what would mutants thousands of years ago think they were? Gods? Titans? Angels? Demons?" Singer asked. "If such mutants did exist thousands of years ago, what became of them? Did one survive?"

Singer also commented on the rumor that "Days of Future Past" will have a post-credits sequence featuring Magneto and Apocalypse. "That's not the case," he said. "People were concerned we were making Apocalypse an alien. It's odd. I don't know where that came from."

Because he's killing all of them off. It's a reboot thank god!

Miley Cyrus Megapost: On Liam, Madonna, and Tour

Miley Cyrus on speaking terms with Liam Hemsworth, still love each other
Pop singer Miley Cyrus has revealed that she doesn’t know where her engagement ring from ex fiancé Liam Hemsworth is.

The 21-year-old made the startling revelation in an interview with Love magazine, as she features as their Spring/Summer cover star

When questioned about where the 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring, given to her by the Australian actor, was she said: ‘Don’t know. Think it’s in the shower.’

Despite her blasé attitude towards the sparkler she continued insisting that the pair are still on speaking terms.

She shared: ‘We still talk and communicate. I was with him since I was 16 and nothing’s ever going to make that go away. I’ve known this guy all that time and if it doesn’t work out I can still smile and love him and he can love me and that’s great, that’s the way to be. Life is too short. If you get called one day and, God forbid, that person isn’t here, then the last thing you want to know that you had your ego in front of you. If you love someone, tell them you do, if you want to be friends with someone, be friends with them.’

When the ‘Saturday Night Live’ Show Ends, Lorne Michaels and the S.N.L. Cast Start the After-Party

“Got the boss coming!” a security worker shouted.

Lorne Michaels’s foot had hit curbside. It was around 1:30 a.m. outside Buddakan, the Asian-fusion restaurant in the meatpacking district and one of the semi-secret locales regularly used for the “Saturday Night Live” after-party.

“S.N.L.” is an institution of rituals, dating back to its first season in 1975-76: The show ends, the principals wave goodbye, and idling limos await outside 30 Rockefeller Plaza to whisk the cast and their guests to the after-party, the location of which is kept on a need-to-know basis.

On this night, after the Christmas show, Buddakan closed before midnight, or around the time the guest host Jimmy Fallon and the musical guest Justin Timberlake were reprising “The Barry Gibb Talk Show” sketch. By 1 a.m., two young men in suits took up their positions at Buddakan’s heavy door. As Mr. Michaels approached, one of them saw that his partner was in the appalling position of having his back turned to the show’s philosopher-king, and gave a prompt corrective shove.

Is Sarah Jessica Parker Taking Over For Anna Wintour As Editor Of “Vogue”?

Sarah Jessica Parker is certainly a style icon, but has the Sex and the City star been tapped to replace Anna Wintour as the next editrix of Vogue? This week RadarOnline reported SJP was being tapped to step up when Wintour eventually retires (or her cold, dead body is pried out of the accessories closet).

“Anna is worrying colleagues who believe she has found her true successor in Sarah,” a source tells the site. “It’s a surprising idea, but one that is not entirely a joke. Anna thinks Sarah, a fashion icon on Sex And The City, truly has what it takes to step into her shoes and take on a role at Vogue one day.”

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander Pack on the PDA at Super Bowl Bash + GQ Superbowl Party Pictures

Sorry, fellas: Kate Upton is definitely off the market.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model stepped out with her on-again boyfriend, Justin Verlander, at the GQ Super Bowl bash at The Standard's Boom Boom Room in NYC on Friday night.

Kate rocked a sleek black dress and hung at a private table near the entrance with her baseball beau. The affectionate duo never left each other's sides and packed on the PDA throughout the night.

Onlookers at the party say Kate and Justin spent Q.T. kissing and being completely and adorably into each other.

Upton, 21, who dated "Dancing With the Stars" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy before getting back together with Verlander, didn't shy away from posing for photos with Justin as disappointed male partygoers watched.

Hidden in a table across the way was Macklemore. He was happy to talk with Seattle Seahawks fans that approached him, although his security wasn't exactly thrilled about it. Still, the Grammy winner was dancing and more than happy to chat with partygoers that came his way. He's our favorite person on the internet for a reason, people!

When Michael B. Jordan arrived, the room shifted. The "That Awkward Moment" actor lit up the party with his big smile and frequent laughter.

Other celebs in attendance: Ashley Greene, Erin Andrews, Peter Facinelli, Jessica White, and Kyle Richards.

An Open Letter From Dylan Farrow about Woody Allen

(A note from Nicholas Kristof: In 1993, accusations that Woody Allen had abused his adoptive daughter, Dylan Farrow, filled the headlines, part of a sensational story about the celebrity split between Allen and his girlfriend, Mia Farrow. This is a case that has been written about endlessly, but this is the first time that Dylan Farrow herself has written about it in public. It’s important to note that Woody Allen was never prosecuted in this case and has consistently denied wrongdoing; he deserves the presumption of innocence. So why publish an account of an old case on my blog? Partly because the Golden Globe lifetime achievement award to Allen ignited a debate about the propriety of the award. Partly because the root issue here isn’t celebrity but sex abuse. And partly because countless people on all sides have written passionately about these events, but we haven’t fully heard from the young woman who was at the heart of them. I’ve written a column about this, but it’s time for the world to hear Dylan’s story in her own words.)

What’s your favorite Woody Allen movie? Before you answer, you should know: when I was seven years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house. He told me to lay on my stomach and play with my brother’s electric train set. Then he sexually assaulted me. He talked to me while he did it, whispering that I was a good girl, that this was our secret, promising that we’d go to Paris and I’d be a star in his movies. I remember staring at that toy train, focusing on it as it traveled in its circle around the attic. To this day, I find it difficult to look at toy trains.

‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ star says you’re a ‘loser’ if you gave up

If you’ve given up on "Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Clark Gregg has pretty much given up on you. Even if you’re a self-identified geek.

"Those aren’t geeks. Those are losers," the man who plays Agent Coulson said on the set of his show, somewhere in Los Angeles. (The producers want to keep exactly where kind of quiet, perhaps to keep the fanboys and fangirls away.)

Gregg is himself a self-identified geek. And he’s passionate about the party line at "S.H.I.E.L.D." — be patient.

There has been lots of grumbling from fans about the show, a spinoff of sorts from movies like "Iron Man," "Captain America," "Thor" and "The Avengers."

"We’re turning that into a TV show and we’re doing that with characters that people don’t know," said executive producer Jeffrey Bell. "And so there were expectations."

Not just from the fans, but from critics, who generally supported the show.

ABC’s initial tagline was, "Not all heroes are super."

Justin Bieber and Khalil Sharieff double-team a stripper's boobs

Say this for Justin Bieber ... at least he shares ... even when it comes to strippers' boobs -- as seen in this photo of Justin and his pal Khalil Sharieff sucking on one breast each during a recent party.

According to sources with direct knowledge ... the stripper, who came fully-loaded with giant fake breasts and a classy rainbow-colored Playboy tattoo, was hired to "perform" for Justin and his pals during a party at an L.A. recording studio.

During the festivities, Justin and Khalil decided to get a taste of the action ... at the same time ... with Justin taking a love-bite out of the right mammary for good measure.

Sources at the party say the stripper looked old enough to be Justin's mother ... maybe that explains the urge to breast-feed.

Beyonce Uses Her Main Website To Promote Black History Month

Beyonce posted this message on her official website:

In honor of African American men and women who have worked diligently dedicating their lives to inspire our future, I want to shine a spotlight on their achievements and sacrifices during Black History Month. These are some of the unsung heroes, past and present. For 28 days I will highlight their stories in hopes to inspire, motivate and move you.

An organizer and architect of the American Civil Rights movement, Bayard Rustin is often left out of Civil Rights history because he was openly gay. It is said that he spent time “on two crosses”, dealing with marginalization as part of both Black and LGBT communities. Rustin brought Gandhi’s peaceful protest techniques and ideals to the Civil Rights movement and helped mold Martin Luther King, Jr. into an international symbol of peace and nonviolence.

Great way to kick off the month. Hopefully other stars will step up and use their visibility for educational opportunities as well. :)

Teen Petitions Disney: Give Us a Plus-Size Princess!

It's no secret that Disney has gotten flak for its blond, white princess archetype, and now a Virginia teen has one more suggestion for the animated film company: Create a plus-size princess.

On January 24, Jewel Moore, a 17-year-old junior at Fuqua High School in Farmville, Virginia, launched a Change.org petition asking Disney to give us an interesting female character who isn't stick-thin. As of Friday afternoon, it had almost 2,000 signatures.

"It's extremely difficult to find a positive representation of plus-size females in the media. If Disney could make a plus-size female protagonist who was as bright, amazing, and memorable as their others, it would do a world of good for those plus-size girls out there who are bombarded with images that make them feel ugly for not fitting the skinny standard," Jewel writes in the petition.

"Disney films are highly influential and wide-spread, and they impact the lives of many children, especially girls. It would be revolutionary for Disney to show support to a group of girls who are otherwise horrendously bullied by the media."

Backstage rumblings at Britney Spears’ return to Axis Theater in Planet Hollywood to start the second run of her resident show “Britney: Piece of Me” on Wednesday night indicate that she’s still wearing that gold wedding band on the fourth finger of her left hand.

It has started two solid rumors. The first is that she’s wearing it because boyfriend of nine months David Lucado has pledged it to her as a commitment. The second is that he has asked dad Jamie for permission to get engaged — and he gave the OK. Britney explained earlier that her father had run a background check on him and that he received the family’s blessing.

Now we’re hearing that the romantic official engagement ring and proposal should take place after her sold-out Valentine’s Day show here. Britney is set to thrill Super Bowl 48 viewers Sunday when Pepsi debuts her latest commercial

LeToya Luckett Talks Beyonce’s Cough In That Old Destiny’s Child Interview

In an old Destiny’s Child interview that a Vine user recently dug up, Beyonce casts a side eye, coughs loudly and nods dubiously right as Kelly Rowland says, “I’m the second lead vocalist of the group.” For some, the clip only confirmed tenfold that Blue Ivy learned to throw shade from her mother. For LeToya Luckett, however, it doesn’t prove anything.

“So, I suddenly start getting texts on a particular day, I guess as soon as it surfaced, and they were like, ‘Your face.’ And I was like, ‘What face? What are you talking about?’” she said to MTV. “And so I went and I look and I die laughing, because I don’t know where that even came from or why we were looking like that.” (By “your face,” close ones were referring to her own, increasingly bored look.)

Luckett did confirm one other thing — going into that interview, each member of Destiny’s Child knew their part. “We were team players,” she said to MTV. “B was first lead; Kelly was second lead; I was soprano; [LaTavia Roberson] was the alto and she was the spokesperson. Everybody knew their lane so no one ever stepped in anyone else’s lane. That’s how every team should work.”

Unfortunately, she couldn’t answer the most important question of all. “Everybody is like, ‘Shade for Beyonce’s cough.’ What if the girl had to cough? What if she was just having an issue? It looks like shade being thrown, but I don’t remember throwing the shade.” Logically, Luckett can only speak for herself on this matter. Beyonce, your turn?

Saks Fifth wants to be a mess

According to Wall Street Journal, Saks is about to embark on a pretty  risky sales strategy.  The new management is reporting that $250 million has been earmarked for upgrades to the Fifth Avenue flagship, including revamping a 30,000-square foot lower-level hair salon and storage space into another retail floor that would be stocked with (even more) expensive products—like the $48,000 Louis Vuitton crocodile handbags they recently received.

Meanwhile, parent company Hudson's Bay Co. is going to make the Saks Off Fifth outlet stores "look a little more unkempt." Wait, what?

Apparently, they're following the tactic of other department-store based discount chains. "Our outlet stores look too much like department stores," according to Baker. "Nordstrom Rack is a mess, and customers love it."

While Saks Off Fifth has yet to establish a location in the five boroughs, its competitors have been stepping up their NYC game—Nordstrom Rack has two planned locations in Brooklyn's Fulton Mall and Flushing's Shops at Skyview Center, in addition to their Union Square spot, and Neiman Marcus Last Call is headed to Downtown Brooklyn.

However, we may not have to wait long. In addition to the messification of existing Off Fifth stores, Baker plans to at least double the number of off-price locations around the United States (there's currently 71).

It sounds like a mess already. I don't like to shopping in a messy environments. How about you guys?

Miley Cyrus: "Madonna Wasn't Even My 1st Choice For 'Unplugged' Duet!"

Miley Cyrus and Madonna teamed up for MTV’s ‘Unplugged’ special, but Madge wasn’t exactly Miley’s first choice. Awkward.
“I just wanted to have a special guest that would be something that no one saw coming, especially with it being ‘Unplugged,’” Miley C admitted in a recent interview.
As for who she originally wanted to perform with, explained Miley, “I really wanted my [godmother] Dolly Parton to be there. [Dolly] had a show on the day of ‘Unplugged,’ so she wasn’t able to be there, so I was like, who can I bring besides Dolly that would be something like that?”
In honor of her godmother, Miley went on to perform an acoustic version of Parton’s ‘Jolene.’
Having to pick someone else for the show, Miley settled on Madonna because she figured no one would expect her to perform on ‘Unplugged.’
Unfortunately, Madonna’s appearance wasn’t definite until right before the show was set to air. As Miley recalled, “I never knew if it was gonna be possible. We just kind of threw it out there and when I was working on my record I wanted to have her on a song… she was working on her album and then when it was time for ‘Unplugged.’”
We’re glad it worked out because that performance sure had people talking!

Oscar-winning actor Maximilian Schell dies

Austrian actor Maximilian Schell, who won an Oscar for his role in the 1961 film Judgment at Nuremberg, has died at the age of 83.

He died overnight at a clinic in the Austrian city of Innsbruck after "a sudden and serious illness", his agent said. Schell had been treated for pneumonia earlier this week.

He was one of the most famous German-speaking actors to have gained international renown.

A stage actor, Schell began his Hollywood career in the late 1950s when he starred alongside Marlon Brando in the World War Two film, The Young Lions. In 1961, he was awarded an Oscar for best actor for his role as the defence lawyer of a Nazi war criminal. The cast also included Marlene Dietrich, Burt Lancaster and Spencer Tracy.

Over the next three decades, Schell appeared in numerous big US productions. His diverse characters ranged from a museum treasure thief in Topkapi (1964), to a mad scientist in sci-fi film The Black Hole (1979), to a Russian KGB colonel in Candles in the Dark (1998).

He literally creeped me out as a kid in The Black Hole. In fact, his giant robot companion in the movie was named after him.

The McConaissance: Your guide to Matthew McConaughey's comeback

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past was the last straw. Matthew McConaughey had built up a solid back catalogue of rom-com duds throughout the noughties, becoming best known for his vaguely off-putting permatan and inability to stand up straight in posters.

But the grisly Ghosts, which starred McConaughey as a bachelor literally haunted by his failed relationships, was the tipping point. "I was getting a lot of the same sort of submissions," he told Digital Spy recently, "some comedies, some action adventure, and I remember thinking 'I like that, but I could do that next week'.

"I want to read something that spooks me and scares me and challenges me and makes me feel like 'I don't know what I'm gonna do with that, but I can't wait to find out'. So what I had to do was say no to some things."

He did, and it worked out pretty well for him. After a six-month dry spell, he started getting calls from the likes of William Friedkin and Steven Soderbergh, and so began the critical hot streak that has now brought McConaughey to the front of the pack for this year's Best Actor Oscar.

In case you've missed the McConaissance in real time, here are the essential films to get you caught up.

Nintendo considering mergers and acquisitions as an option

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata said mergers and acquisitions are an option for turning the company's fortunes around in a Nikkei interview. Iwata said the company "should abandon old assumptions about our businesses. We are considering M&As as an option. For this reason, we'll step up share buybacks."

This echos Iwata's statements during a press conference earlier this month in which he said Nintendo is "thinking about a new business structure" and is specifically "studying how smart devices can be used to grow the game-player business." It also follows news of the company having to drastically cut its forecasts for the fiscal year, taking its expected Wii U shipments down from 9 million to 2.8 million.

Additionally, Iwata commented on the option of Nintendo delisting itself from the stock market, saying that "quarterly earnings reporting is not a good fit for Nintendo." He said that even when Nintendo thinks a goal is reachable, it doesn't for sure know whether a product will be a hit. "But it is thanks to the stock market that Nintendo has grown to what it is today. I don't want to turn to a management buyout just because we are inconvenienced now," he added.
