Rebecca Ferguson has admitted that dating Zayn Malik was a 'blip'.
But it seems that his ex-girlfriend Rebecca Ferguson has less than fond memories of her relationship with the One Direction star.
We're not ENTIRELY sure what happened between the pair, but Beck has opened up about the short-lived romance - describing it as a 'blip.' Harsh.
Speaking to Heat radio about Zayn, the 27-year-old said: ''It’s a bit like, wow that’s a little blip in my life, what was I doing?
''I have a lot of respect for him and a lot of respect for the band, but that to me is a moment in my life that I just think, what was going on? You were having a breakdown.''
Rebecca, who dated Zayn for just three months, admitted that the pair are no longer in contact since the split. Obviously.
When discussing Zayn's tattoo of current girlfriend Perrie Edwards, Rebecca admitted that he'd never mentioned getting one of her. She said: ''I don’t think so, no. We were only together for 3 months that would have freaked me right out. I would call for help!"
Speaking about the age gap between them, Rebecca recently told The Independent: ''I was 23, he was 18. Of course, if it was a 23-year-old guy dating an 18-year-old girl, no one would have batted an eyelid, but this way around was a big deal, apparently.''
She added: ''I didn't realise that. I was just a hippy, free-loving person, but that's not a good thing to be in this industry. You can't just follow your heart."

The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special took over social media and conquered television with its global simulcast Saturday afternoon, but in the twilight of that huge accomplishment comes a bit of news that might be even more impressive.
Playing on just 660 screens across the US by way of Fathom Events, expectations for Monday night’s ‘Day of the Doctor’ special screening couldn’t have been terribly high. After-all, the special had already aired across the US, reviews and “spoilers” had hit the internet, and super-fans in 11 of the United States’ biggest cities had already gotten the chance to see the special on a big screen. But when the numbers were tallied, the final result was stunning: $4.77 million with a $7,155 per theater average. ($10 million reported globally)
Those figures mean that Doctor Who nearly topped the U.S. box office last night, making it second only to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which finished this past weekend with a $161 million dollar debut. That’s the kind of accomplishment that turns heads, so the question has to be asked: Could the 50th Anniversary Special’s thunderous theatrical performance spark a renewed interest in a Doctor Who movie?

So it wasn't hard for British director Gareth Edwards to fall in love when his visual-effects crew sprung their gigantic leading man on him in the middle of filming the upcoming monster-movie reboot Godzilla, in theaters May 16.

Detective John Kennex and Dorian respond to a suspicious death at a hospital where - before having a fatal cardiac arrest - a man claimed someone was trying to kill him, and inexplicably knew his exact time of death. As the investigation unfolds, a black market for vital organs is uncovered in which bio-mechanical hearts can be resold and remotely "shut off." As the team fights to find the pulse of this 2048 tech-centric crime, Dorian reconnects with a decommissioned DRN.
Although the character he is most identified with - the half-vulcan, half-human Mr Spock of the 2009 and 2013 rebooted Star Trek movies - is hardly known for his chic daywear or the way he rocks a pair of jeans, off-screen the actor Mr Zachary Quinto has become something of a fashion plate.
He flew relatively under the radar in Los Angeles, but the 36 year old, who now lives in New York and is currently starring in a glorious revival of Mr Tennessee Williams' memory play The Glass Menagerie, has become a regular on the party circuit. He has been known to shown up at a CFDA party in a classic yet contemporary grey suit made for him by his friend, Mr Todd Snyder, and attend a Met Ball in an eye-catching waistcoat, his hair tinted an electric blue to complement the evening's punk theme.

It's amusing to think that in a world where consumers are able to purchase Kardashian's own clothing, makeup, and perfume lines in attempt to recreate her own style, the 33-year-old reality star would like nothing more than to be as glamourous as the late legendary actress.
On Tuesday (Dec. 10) Kardashian posted a photo of herself wearing a white towel wrapped around her head, while flashing her huge engagement ring, to her Instagram account. The star was standing next to a vintage photo of Taylor posing in a similar fashion, which was taken by photographer Herb Ritts in Malibu in 1991, according to the Daily Mail. Kardashian captioned the photo "#MyIdol" along with an emoticon of a sparkling ring.
Kardashian has never been shy about her fascination with Taylor, who died in March 2011 at the age of 79. Fortunately for the reality star, she was able to do more than just meet the actress before her passing, she actually interviewed her for Harper's Bazaar a month prior to Taylor's death. Kardashian, in fact, asked the legendary screen star for some advice on how to be more like her:
"You are my idol. But I'm six husbands and some big jewels behind. What should I do?"
Taylor responded, "...Follow your passion, follow your heart, and the things you need will come."
There's a new man in Victoria Justice's life! Multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly that the 20-year-old Nickelodeon star has split from boyfriend Ryan Rottman -- and is already dating someone else.
"It happened awhile ago," an insider tells Us of Justice's break up with Rottman, 29. "They are at different points in their life and both had been traveling. They've both moved on."
And it doesn't sound like there are any hard feeling between the Victorious actress and Lying Game actor, who first began dating back in 2011.
"Ryan is working on Happyland with MTV and Victoria just finished another show [Eye Candy] for MTV, so they're still on the same network," the insider explained. "They are both seeing other people now."
Indeed, a second source tells Us the singer and actress is now dating her Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List costar Pierson Fode. The two were recently spotted getting cozy at the Boohoo.com viewing party at the Staples Center's Hyde Lounge for Beyonce's Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.
"Their PDA was on a different level throughout the concert," an onlooker tells Us. "They were super affectionate and open about it. Her arms were around him most of the night, dancing and kissing."

The hills are alive ... with the sound of another live musical coming to a TV screen near you!
NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt told The New York Times that there are plans to do another live musical special next year before the holidays. The news is not too surprising given The Sound of Music Live grabbed 18.5 million viewers and a 4.6 rating in the adults 18-to-49 demo on Thursday.
Greenblatt said that Sound of Music producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan will return to take charge of the live production and that three of them already have several titles of Broadway family-friendly classics with familiar tunes. "All weekend, people have been calling us and emailing us," Greenblatt told the newspaper. "Rights holders of musicals have said, 'Please do one of our shows.' We're excited to try it again."
Greenblatt is already optimistic about making this kind of production an annual event on NBC. "There's enough to do a handful of these over the next years, if we keep increasing the learning curve," he said. "There may be a little bit of a phenomenon to the first one of these. Who knows what happens Year 2, 3 or 4. But you've got to have events. I think we could do this again — and again and again."
(TV musicals: The highs and lows)
Although star Carrie Underwood received harsh reviews from both TV critics and viewers, producers have no regrets about their casting choice. "She really delivered her audience, her fan base," Meron said. Added Greenblatt: "I'm not sure almost 20 million people would have come out for a lot of other names."

One of the most influential software programs of all time is now an opera, too: OPERAcraft was conceived by Ariana Wyatt and Ivica Ico Bukvic of Virginia Tech, and carried out with K-12 students, who wrote the libretto with the help of an English professor. The whole thing was scored to Mozart and performed (and livestreamed) last week,
Students built a massive set for "OperaCraft" in the sandbox building game, and used their Minecraft avatars to act out the opera's major roles. Voice students from the school's music department, meanwhile, lent their voices to the project, which is set to Mozart pieces.
The result, so far, has been a fruitful meeting of art and technology, and arguably another illustration of how video games are evolving into their own art form. The art of video games has already earned an exhibition at the Smithsonian and the first Grammy nomination for a video-game score. Making a new opera, then, may not be much of a stretch.

Vocativ contributor Ray LeMoine, branded "Lindsay Lohan's thug," writes about what really happened between him and Paris Hilton's brother

Sir Ian McKellen has hit back at Damian Lewis after the Homeland star said he did not want to end up a "fruity actor" known for playing wizards.
McKellen, who reprises his role as Gandalf in the Hobbit sequel The Desolation of Smaug, said "no one needs to feel sorry for me" after Lewis alluded to his career as one of the reasons why he wanted to break out of the theatre.
Lewis, in a Guardian interview in October, said he worried in his 20s that he would be "one of these slightly over-the-top, fruity actors who would have an illustrious career on stage, but wouldn't start getting any kind of film work until I was 50 and then start playing wizards".

The Divine Miss M. is taking on the great Mae West. HBO Films has put in development Mae West, a movie about the true Hollywood original, with Bette Midler attached to star and executive produce. The project is the brainchild of William Friedkin (The Exorcist), who will direct and executive produce. Broadway heavyweight Harvey Fierstein, who recently penned the book for Tony-winning musical Kinky Boots, is writing the script. Also executive producing is Jerry Weintraub, who executive produced HBO Films’ Emmy-winning Behind The Candelabra. Mae West, based on West’s autobiography Goodness Had Nothing To Do With It, chronicles West’s riseto stardom when she takes New York by storm after writing and starring in her scandalous Broadway show Sex and battles authorities over obscenity charges. Instead of taking the road of a wide-eyed Hollywood ingenue, West forged her own path, writing and starring in her own risqué plays, including her breakthrough Sex, which had her prosecuted and sentenced to 10 days in prison for “corrupting the morals of youth.”
The notoriety fueled her career and didn’t stop her from tackling taboo subjects in her next plays, including 1928 hit Diamond Lil, about a racy 1890s woman, which opened the doors to Hollywood for her. West was a late arrival, signing her first movie deal with Paramount at 39, but went on to make a string of hits, becoming one of the highest-grossing stars of the 1930s while still finding ways to push the envelope and keeping studio censors busy. Midler’s career path resembles that of West — she too made a name for herself onstage in New York (she made her Broadway debut in the chorus of Fiddler On The Roof) before segueing to features in her 30s for a successful movie career, which has earned her two Oscar nominations. Midler just started a three-week engagement at the Geffen Playhouse of I’ll Eat You Last after a successful Broadway run. Midler has been earning strong reviews for her portrayal of larger-than-life Hollywood agent Sue Mengers in the one-person play written by John Logan and directed by Joe Mantello.

"It's fun to use my singing voice as part of a character," says pop superstar Justin Timberlake, describing how he toned down his vibrato and adjusted his guitar-strumming to portray clean-cut, early '60s folk singer Jim Berkey in the Coen brothers' "Inside Llewyn Davis." One of the most delightful scenes in the movie, which opened Friday, involves a spirited recording session for a goofy novelty song called "Please Mr. Kennedy" — a plea to not be drafted into the space race.
Jim sets the pace, instructing his musician buddy Llewyn (Oscar Isaac) on where to jump in and how many "puh-puh" P sounds to insert before the word "please." They then launch into a driving, deadpan version of the nonsensical song while their pal Al Cody (Adam Driver) blurts out "Uh-oh!" and other doo-wop exclamations for a comic top note.
Llewyn, described by the movie's executive music producer, T Bone Burnett, as "a moody existentialist" folk singer struggling to get by in the '60s music scene, finds the song appalling, but Jim can't see a problem with it. "If people want a campy song, Jim's happy to write it," says Timberlake. "He kind of represents where the world was going. The beatniks of that time looked at music like, 'This isn't a career, man, this is art.' But if you look at the music business now — you're not anything until you've made an actual career out of being a musician."

Katy Perry, Beyonce and Lady Gaga are all set to appear at the Grammy Awards 2014.
The singers are being lined up for a slot each at the huge US event in January, and all being offered the same deal, so no-one is seen to as getting preferential treatment.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ''The trio are all looking to avoid cat fights and turf wars by agreeing to each perform the same amount of time-six minutes. ''And they're not planning any special duets or group performances. They plan to each have their moment to shine and steal the show. They're going to get that chance and music fans are sure to be thrilled.''
Gaga and Beyonce collaborated on 2010 hit 'Telephone', but are rumoured to have since fallen out. The 'Single Ladies' star is said to have called Gaga a ''selfish egomaniac'' after she was carried into the 2011 Grammys encased in an egg, prompting her to respond, reportedly calling her a ''hater''.

Meanwhile, fangirls everywhere are having to take cold showers after Hiddleston’s nude scene in the trailer for his new movie Only Lovers Left Alive.
Tom Hiddleston is more than just a Disney prince. Hiddleston is an accomplished stage actor.
However, Hiddleston is showing off a lot more than his acting talents in his new role in Coriolanus. Tom is starring as the titular character in the Shakespearean tragedy at London’s Donmar Warehouse.
In the new production, Hiddleston can be seen taking a shower on stage, although, fan girls would be disappointed that the superstar doesn’t go full nude. However, if anyone is too broken hearted, they can check out the trailer for Hiddleston’s new film, Only Lovers Left Alive. In the new movie, Hiddleston plays a suicidal vampire named Adam, opposite Tilda Swinton's Eve. The trailer shows the two lovers completely nude. Hiddleston recently spoke with The Daily Beast about the new film:
"So much of our definition of love, as a human race, is founded upon the rock of the idea of mortality--the idea that we know we’re going to die. So, you want to find someone to share your life with because you know it’s short. But what if your life was not short? What if it was eternal? How would that change the way that you love, and the way that you see and accept your lover?"
Fan’s wanting to see a more family friendly Hiddleston can catch him as the voice of a young Captain Hook in Disney’s Tinkerbell movie, The Pirate Fairy.
Hiddleston recently came in fourth in the Glamour U.K.’s Sexist Man Alive poll behind Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill, Hunger Games’ Liam Hemsworth and Twilight’s Robert Pattinson.
The two ended their three year relationship after clashing work commitments kept them apart, it has been revealed.
While Madonna, 55, is based in New York, her 25-year-old lover signed up for the French version of Dancing With The Stars.

Fans of "The Colbert Report" know that Stephen Colbert is one of the most devoted and knowledgeable fans of J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth. On "Late Show with David Letterman," he revealed that he scored a role in "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug."
At first, Letterman didn't believe Colbert's claim that he was in the film. "I'm kind of the breakout star of 'The Hobbit,' Dave," Colbert insisted. "I don't want to tell anybody where I am, but I am in it." He even encouraged Letterman to check out the IMDb page for the film if he didn't believe him.
After some prodding, Colbert provided a few details of how it happened, as well as a tease where fans can look for him. "I and my wife and my two boys were invited down to New Zealand to play around with the folks in 'The Hobbit' by Peter Jackson," he said. "We went down there, and we're in a scene in Laketown. Simon Cowell really plans to name his first son after himself — at least according to an attendee of the baby shower he threw on Sunday for his baby mama, Lauren Silverman.
“It shouldn’t come as a shock, but Simon and Lauren really seem to be planning to name their son Simon! There were baby clothes and little games all personalized with the name ‘Simon’ for the baby.”
According to the source, there was also a lot of chatter at the party about their son-to-be, Simon. “From what everyone — including Lauren — was saying, they are 100 percent naming their son Simon,” the insider revealed. Initials for baby Simon were everywhere.”
Cowell, 54, put together the English tea-themed party for Silverman, 36, at his Beverly Hills mansion but didn’t attend the soiree. The baby boy is due in February and it’s the first child for Cowell and Silverman.
Simon appeared on The Ellen Show 2 weeks ago and revealed that Simon was his number 1 choice for his son.

As you're zipping around holiday shopping, attending religious services, and generally spreading Yuletide cheer, you're likely to notice something - you're humming the same tune as last year. And the year before that, too. "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby? How about the classic duet "Baby It's Cold Outside"? It premiered in the 1949 film "Neptune's Daughter" from MGM. This year, you can hear it sung by the gang from reality television show "Duck Dynasty".
Every year, holiday stations churn out the same musty standards - the only twist, it seems, is who is belting them out. But no new songs seem to break the candy cane ceiling. "It's hard to figure out why it is that even though we have the top stars of today writing original Christmas songs, none of them have really broken through," said Slate writer Chris Klimek, who pinned down the Christmas song trend in an article Monday.
Klimek says the latest modern holiday song to stick was Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You". "It's not that there are no more good Christmas songs coming out, it's that we as a culture have stopped embracing the ones that do come out. It's been 19 years since Mariah Carey released All I Want for Christmas Is You'. And that's really the last time a pop song has entered the public consciousnesses across genres and age groups," said Klimek.

Slade frontman Noddy Holder is reportedly set to earn around £800,000 this year from his band's festive 1973 hit, 'Merry Xmas Everybody'.
The track is top of the Christmas song list when it comes to pulling in the royalties, with The Pogues in second place, set to earn an estimated £520,000 by the end of the year from 'Fairytale Of New York' and Mariah Carey in third, as she is likely to make £455,000 from 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' in 2013.
Beyoncé was called out after Obama’s inauguration for lip-synching the national anthem. “All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day,” Kristin DuBois, a rep for [the United States Marine Band] told Page Six. “We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyoncé was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don’t know the reason why.” It was almost as awkward as that guy’s facial expression on the right.

The Lord of the Rings are undoubtedly my favorite movies of all-time and when An Unexpected Journey was released last year it managed to hit almost all of my expectations and than some. Tonally and atmospherically it was a bit lighter and whimsical than the Rings trilogy but being that the source material was aimed more towards children than adults this time around I was completely OK with that. Now with The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’s release only a few days a way I decided to put together a character guide to the new faces that will be making an appearance in part two of this unexpected trilogy.

Solange carves out more and more of her own space apart from her big sister Beyoncé with every project, and the first R&B compilation album from her own label, Saint Records, is a huge win. Solange rounds up some of the most exciting artists in what many call “experimental R&B” today, from Kelela to India Shawn to Iman Omari. It’s a solid and exciting sampling of artists that might be unfamiliar to most, while remaining to be a cohesive work on its own. — A.Z.

The Bloodied Barron: A First-hand Account of Hilton Brother’s Alleged Art Basel Attack
'Do you know who my sisters are?'
As I write this, I’m about to board a boat with “Lindsay Lohan’s thug,” a.k.a. Ray LeMoine, a guy whose recent press mentions range from Face Puncher to humanitarian to bar owner. Indeed, over the past few days, Mr. LeMoine has become a tabloid anti-celeb, and we’re on the run.
Mr. Lemoine invited me to stay in his now-notorious Miami party pad for Art Basel. The text read: “just come.” Neither of us knew that Ms. Lohan would be bunking with us, though we’d heard rumors. I took a redeye and showed up last Thursday morning. The Star Island estate was a $25 million dollar work of South Florida opulence. Jet skis, heated toilet seats, nine massive bedrooms. The water in my bathtub poured from the mouth of a golden swan. It seemed too good to be true. And thanks to Barron Hilton, it was.
Our interactions with Ms. Lohan were pleasant but brief. Due to her probation, and the $2 million dollar sobriety contract with Oprah, she was laying low, firmly on the wagon. Her brother grilled us some hot dogs and cheeseburgers. Then we parted ways. I didn’t see her again until the next morning.

Flora Coquerel, from Orleans, was crowned Miss France in a ceremony on Saturday night.
The 19-year-old, whose mother is from the West African state of Benin, insisted that France is happily "mixed".
She was chosen by a combination of public votes and a celebrity jury.
She said: "I am very proud to represent a cosmopolitan France.
"It shows that today's France is a mixed France, where there is every culture, and I think a lot of people will see themselves in me."
The result follows several race allegations surrounding the competition.

Josh Holloway can do it all on CBS’ upcoming drama Intelligence, so it makes sense that this exclusive poster for the series channels Leonardo da Vinci’s famed Vitruvian Man drawing.
On the show, premiering in January, Holloway plays a high-tech intelligence operative named Gabriel who has been enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his noggin, making him the first human to ever be connected into the global information grid. (In other words, he can do with his brain what most cyber nerds need a computer for.)
Lost alum Holloway stars alongside Marg Helgenberger, who plays the director of the government cyber-security agency to which Gabriel reports, and Once Upon a Time‘s Meghan Ory, whose character is tasked with making sure no harm comes to Gabriel, which is not easy because he’s a bit of a cowboy.
The show premieres Jan. 7 at 9 p.m. following NCIS before moving to its regular spot on Mondays at 10 p.m. on Jan. 13.
This show sounds like a Chuck rip-off but y'all better watch and give this hot bitch some ratings OK
One such list, the 20 Most Hated Celebrities of 2013, as decided by the always reliable Star magazine, has been making lots of headlines this week. At least it's made enough headlines that it caught my attention, and when I read it, I spotted a few entries that struck me as more than a little unfair. Naturally, because there is no bigger affront in all the world than reading something you disagree with online, I decided I needed to say something.
Like most of the other problems in the world, the fact that Kim Kardashian is still making "most hated" lists in 2013 is probably Kanye West's fault. To be upset over any of her other perceived crimes against pop culture, like being famous for doing nothing (except Ray J) or sullying the airwaves with an inane reality show, is like being mad at the year 2007. These are things we should have all spoken our piece about and moved on from by now.

His last three films returned an average of $3.40 for every $1 he was paid. Last year, Natalie Portman earned $42.70 per dollar according to Forbes' most profitable actors list, just to give you some context.
Among the key offenders in Sandler’s turkey list are That's My Boy, which cost an estimated $70 million to make but ending up costing more with returns of just $57m. Jack and Jill, which managed to accumulate just 3% on Rotten Tomatoes, was another box office flop, even though it surpassed its budget in the global market.
If there’s any consolation for Sandler, other than his riches, multiple houses, ability to do pretty much anything he wants and celebrity buddies, is that last year’s most overpaid actor – Eddie Murphy only returned $2.30-per-dollar.
Second on the list this year was Katherine Heigl, whose recent films Killers and One for the Money didn’t enjoy their box office outing at all. Reese Witherspoon was third, with $3.90-per-dollar, while Nicolas Cage ($6) and Kevin James ($6.10) make up the top 5.

HBO is teaming with Diablo Cody and Oprah Winfrey to explore "moody bitches."
The premium cable network is developing an untitled comedy based on Dr. Julie Holland's upcoming book, Moody Bitches, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Holland's book -- Moody Bitches: The Truth About the Drugs You're Taking, the Sex You're Not Having, The Sleep You're Missing and What's Really Making You Crazy -- explores the pros and cons of the drugs people are being offered as well as some surprising and highly effective natural therapies. HBO's take, which is inspired by Holland's source material, will "expose the truth about the drugs you're taking, the sex you're not having, the sleep you're missing and what's really making you crazy."

Sometimes, I totally forget how hard I stanned for "Degrassi: The Next Generation" back in the day. (No joke, I literally maintained friendships with people in seventh grade purely based on the fact that they had digital cable access to The N.) R. Kelly has pretty consistently avoided doing much press in the past few years, presumably because he blames the media for his pervy public image (we'd argue that nasty home video that led to statutory rape charges played a bigger role in all of that). But the R&B singer has been moving out of his comfort zone to promote his new album Black Panties, sitting for a number of interviews (including one in which he compared himself and Chris Brown to Jesus) and opening himself up to questions from his fans.
That last part... well, that was a mistake.
On Tuesday afternoon, R. Kelly accepted questions from his fans via Twitter using the hashtag #AskRKelly. The Internet being the Internet, things did not work out as planned.
First, here's what R. Kelly did divulge:
