3. The one item of clothing I'm currently wearing most is… my workout clothes: Lululemon black short tights and Asics. I've been doing the Tracy Anderson method for three months and I feel better in my body than I ever have — I’ve also lost 20 pounds!

I sprained my ankle and while I have stopped dancing and running for two weeks, I know my ankle needs more love and I have heard great things about it, but it seems like a treat on some level.
5. My favorite song right now is… Lorde "Royals".

A tragic accident took the life of Bill Beckwith.
The 38-year-old cohost of HGTV's show Curb Appeal was struck by a car and killed while riding his motorcycle in San Francisco's Lower Haight neighborhood, according to local reports. The incident occurred near the corner of Oak and Steiner streets at roughly 8:30 p.m. Monday, police said. He died at San Francisco General Hospital.
"The HGTV family is deeply saddened by Bill's tragic death, and we mourn his loss along with his many family and friends who will miss his creativity, adventurous spirit and general love of life," the network said in a statement obtained by E! News.

Britney Spears teased that ‘Britney Jean’ is her most personal album yet. It’s not. At all. And she may be the only person left who can get away with that.
( Collapse )
To be fair, I think the industry itself ruined any opportunity for a truly personal, open Britney due to how it took advantage of her pre and post-meltdown. However I think her team needs to re-evaluate how they model her celeb persona and should embrace that she's a private person rather than fight to convince us otherwise.
Beyonce’s father is a DEADBEAT DAD … at least according to the mother of his 3-year-old son who claims Mathew Knowles has stiffed her out of $24k in child support, TMZ has learned.
According to California State records obtained by TMZ, Mathew missed TWO of the $12k monthly payments he’s been ordered to pay to Alexsandra Wright.
Sources close to Wright says she’s in a financial bind and needs the cash asap — we’re told she’s even had to pull her son from school because she can’t afford to pay for it.
As we’ve reported … the legal battles between Knowles and Wright have been ugly. She claims Knowles sent a threatening email to her in 2011 … warning “there’s a price to pay” for hurting his family.
We reached out to Mathew for comment — so far, no word back.

"True Blood" star Anna Paquin trades in sexy, bloodsucking vampires for shifty, greasy pot-dealers in the new trailer for writer-director Shana Betz's indie drama "Free Ride."
Based on the filmmaker's real-life upbringing, the 70-set film stars Paquin (who's also a producer) as a struggling single mother who gets an opportunity to support her two girls by breaking into Florida's prosperous pot-smuggling business. "It's just pot," her best friend informs her. However, Paquin's character quickly learns that the game of pot dealing has its fair share of unscrupulous players -- and "nobody rides for free."
Also starring Cam Gigandet, Drea de Matteo, Eddie Pepitone, and Liana Liberato as Paquin's young teenage daughter, "Free Ride" drifts into theaters and VOD on January 10th, 2014
A cinema audience of children waiting to view the hit Disney animation Frozen were accidentally shown a trailer for explicit art house sex epic Nymphomaniac.
Parents in the auditorium in Tampa, Florida, reportedly struggled to cover the eyes of their offspring, while others headed swiftly for the exits, as an apparent technical error saw the promotional clip for Danish agent provocateur Lars von Trier's salacious new film suddenly hit the big screen.
"They put in the filler, it looked like Steamboat Willie, the old Mickey Mouse cartoon, and then all of a sudden it goes into this other scene," grandmother Lynn Greene told My Fox Tampa Bay. "It seemed like forever when you're trying to, you know, cover a little guy's eyes. I didn't have enough hands to cover his ears too and he got the sound down real good.
"You're talking, what, a PG-rated movie to all of a sudden have an R-rated scene up there for little children?" she added. "My concern is that there should be safeguards in place so that this doesn't happen again."
The trailer has been described by Vanity Fair as one of the most explicit ever to be shown in mainstream cinemas. A teaser trailer was briefly removed from YouTube last month after apparently falling foul of the site's rules on nudity and sexual content. Von Trier's much-hyped film, which features Uma Thurman, Stellan Skarsgård, Christian Slater, Jamie Bell and Shia LaBeouf, will use digital trickery and body doubles to portray its famous stars having sex. It is due to premiere in Copenhagen on Christmas Day and is then likely to hit the festival circuit, with a possible appearance at Cannes in May.

Mariah Carey was definitely feeling more naughty than nice on Tuesday. The singer wriggled into two very festive and very racy dresses to perform at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony in New York. The 43-year-old showed off her ample cleavage each time, first of all in a red sweetheart cut dress that hugged her curvaceous figure in all the right places.
Mariah also wore a white furry shawl that added to the Christmassy feel of her look, and slipped on black leather opera gloves to make her ensemble even sexier. Diamantes featured on the star's dress and she had a sparkling microphone and stand to match, as well as a pair of jewelled earrings.

From Johnny's personal blog:
We’ve all been there. We’ve all asked or seen someone ask a woman when she’s due, but she’s not actually pregnant. We’ve all made inappropriate comments or analogies without even noticing because our home language and friend language is so comfortable and free-flowing that when we’re talking to or in front of strangers, once we’re comfortable, we fly. I think it’s safe to say, that for the most part, we rarely surround ourselves with people who challenge us, or who are polar opposites in terms of philosophy and belief so we in turn, build up a comfortable pillow-top barrier of everything you say being okay.
Cut to this week when I was speaking at a university and called a small group of people protesting my speech, idiots, for no other reason that my tongue getting away from me. This kind of talk is usually relegated to the safety of my own friend groupings and family but for some reason, I felt like a threatened underdog and needed to take a dig at the people who had me on edge. At the end of my speech I opened the floor to a Q&A and it turned out that those very people protesting my speech, were actually friends of the faculty and brave LGBT activists who stood in the same room as me. I felt, and still feel, a great deal of remorse for allowing myself to insult other people, fighting in their own way, and for using insulting words instead of my usual cheerleading antics for one and all.
( Collapse )
In any event, the speech finished, I left feeling awful and my only solace was in a half eaten carton of Breyers, freezer burned to death in the back of my freezer. I have put my foot in my mouth before, and I probably will many times over, but it doesn’t change the fact that I stooped to fighting by slinging insults rather than being proud of my own voice and achievements and saying, my opinion matters too. I showed myself a lesser version of myself that night, and I’m glad I learned from it. People will find their own paths, they will differ from mine, and I need to show them the grace that I’ve been granted in my own discovery.
The nation is gearing up for perhaps the most important cultural event of our time: NBC’s live broadcast of The Sound of Music (did they lie?), starring Carrie Underwood as musical theater’s favorite governess (a title that is perhaps more competitive than you’d think).
The must-watch event hits your TV on Thursday at 8 pm ET, and surely you’ve already programmed your DVR accordingly. If you haven’t been voraciously listening to the album on Spotify (and cried copious nun-related tears thanks to Audra McDonald’s “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”), EW’s got another exciting exclusive to appease your Austro-Hungarian appetite.
Check out these great exclusive photos from Tuesday’s dress rehearsal, which is the closest thing you’ll get to the real deal until Thursday night’s extravaganza. Feast your eyes on McDonald and the nuns singing “Maria”, Underwood getting cozy with Stephen Moyer’s Captain Von Trapp, and the Von Trapp children singing “So Long Farewell,” arguably one of Broadway’s best child-based bedtime numbers.

One Direction's "Midnight Memories" debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week with 546,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The act makes history as the first group to debut at No. 1 with its first three albums. "Midnight Memories" follows two No. 1s for the act in 2012: its debut album, "Up All Night," and sophomore set "Take Me Home."
The Monkees' self-titled debut was released in 1966 and climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in its sixth week on the chart. The TV-born act—riding high with its hit ABC series—followed up the No. 1 success with three more consecutive No. 1s in 1967: "More of the Monkees," "Headquarters" and "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd."
One Direction's first-week sales have also steadily grown with each successive album. Its first set, "Up All Night," bowed atop the list with 176,000, while "Take Me Home" launched with 540,000.
The act follows the recent successes of Drake, Selena Gomez, Luke Bryan and Vampire Weekend in 2013—all of whose respective albums have bowed with a bigger first week than the one before it. (You canalso include Eminem in that list, to a degree. His last two albums each debuted stronger than the one before.
With the start of "Midnight Memories,” One Direction also becomes only the third pop group to log multiple half-million sales weeks in the Nielsen SoundScan era. Since the company began tracking sales in 1991, only two other pop groups have notched more than one sales week of 500,000: 'N Sync and Backstreet Boys.

Only days after she was photographed kissing estranged husband Bruce Jenner on the cheek after a holiday weekend movie with her mom in Kalabasas, Kalif., Kris Jenner posted an Instagram photo of herself with klose pal Ben Flajnik on a night out Tuesday.
Posing with pouting duck lips, Jenner, 58, was joined in the group photo by her girlfriend, entrepreneur Liz Heinlein. She kaptioned her shot of the threesome: "Date night with Ben and Liz."
Bachelor alum Flajnik, 31, denied last month that he and Jenner were having a fling after dating rumors arose when he was photographed driving her Bentley. He later said was it borrowed while she was of town. He was also seen on vacation with her in Mexico and at his winery in Sonoma, where they were joined by Kardashian family pal Jonathan Cheban.
"She's a beautiful, smart woman," Flajnik told PEOPLE of a rumored relationship, noting he was upset by all of the gossip.
"Kris is a very, very dear friend of mine," he said. "We are not dating, we're just working on a kouple of projects together, so that's why we've been seen a lot as of late."

It looks like the rumors are true! After various reports and speculations that Wonder Woman would be joining Batman and Superman in director Zack Snyder’s ‘Man of Steel’ follow-up, the character has been confirmed and actress Gal Gadot has been cast in the role!
Via Variety, Gadot of ‘Fast and Furious 6′ has landed one of the lead female roles in ‘Batman vs. Superman,’ that of Wonder Woman herself. Other contenders for the part were Olga Kurylenko and Elodie Yung.
Said Zack Snyder of the casting, “Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”
While the extent of Wonder Woman’s involvement in ‘Batman vs. Superman’ is still a mystery, with some reports suggesting she’ll be more of a supporting character, this is a major move towards the inevitable ‘Justice League’ movie, which will see some of the most iconic heroes of the DC universe team up onscreen.
Gadot joins the cast that already includes Henry Cavill returning to his ‘Man of Steel’ role as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. ‘Girls’ star Adam Driver is reportedly also in contention for the part of Batman’s sidekick/successor, Nightwing (aka Robin). In addition, Callan Mulvey of ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ is said to be eyed for the villain role.
‘Batman vs. Superman’ is slated for release on July 17, 2015.

Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock started dating in February of 2012 and were married on October 20th of this year. They also recently announced they are expecting their first child together. A new story, published in The Dirty from an anonymous source, claims that Brandon is cheating on Kelly.
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I wanted to submit this story to you because I didn’t know where else to turn. I like the idea of keeping myself anonymous, whereas any other media outlet would have jumped at publishing my name. I have a career and children to keep safe, so your site was my best option. Short and simple: Brandon has been cheating on Kelly (with me) for the past 5 months. We met at a golf club in TN and have exchanged multiple texts and hung out a few times over the last little while. Because his parents are music royalty, Brandon really thinks he is invincible and better than everyone else. I don’t even know why I’m saying any of this since my story isn’t that juicy. We haven’t slept together but we’ve been intimate in other ways. I really hope his wife keeps her eye on him because he’s not the great man that she thinks he is.
RESPONSE: Ladies (wives) the trick is to call the cell phone company and get the text message print outs. They keep records of all text messages even if your husband deletes them from his phone. If there is a burner phone then you are SOL’d.- nik
Due to renewed viral activity, the ballad dethrones Lorde's "Royals" after a nine-week reign. Plus, new No. 1s for Pitbull and Avicii, while A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera reach the Hot 100's top 10.
"Ball" concurrently jumps by 11% to 99,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and rebounds 10-9 on Digital Songs (which it led the week of Sept. 28). Also surely aiding its gains, Cyrus performed the song on the American Music Awards, which aired live on ABC on Sunday, Nov. 24. Having peaked at No, 4 on Radio Songs, "Ball" drops 4-7 on the survey (106 million all-format audience impressions, according to BDS).
More chart honors for Cyrus: The nine-week gap between "Ball" topping the Hot 100 marks the longest in the Hot 100's 55-year history for a song in one chart run. It passes the five-week wait for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" (featuring Wanz), whose six-week total reign was interrupted by Baauer's "Harlem Shake" for five weeks earlier this year. Both breaks, thus, reflect the influence of virality, with the online phenomenon largely pushing "Shake" to the top and, now, a similar bounce for "Ball." (Only Chubby Checker's "The Twist" had a longer break than "Ball" between Hot 100 reigns. It led in September 1960 and again in January 1962, but that was over two separate chart lives.)
The resurgence of "Ball" helps keep Eminem's "The Monster," featuring Rihanna, at No. 2 for a fourth week. Still, the collaboration claims the chart's top Airplay Gainer award for a fourth week, climbing 6-4 on Radio Songs with a 14% increase to 119 million. It racks a third week atop the On-Demand Songs chart (2.2 million, down 12%), while dipping 3-4 on Streaming Songs (5.7 million, down 6%) and falling 1-2 on Digital Songs (after three weeks at No. 1) with 231,000 downloads sold (down 4%). "Monster" spends a fifth week at No. 1 on both Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Rap Songs.
As it bounds by 55% in overall Hot 100 points, "Ball" handily wins the race to No. 1 over "Monster" (up 2%). A 20% difference in points separate the songs.

Britney had “no choice” but to create a personal album after going through heartbreak and needing to vent through music sessions in the studio.
“Actually I really kinda had no choice,” Britney admitted to MTV News at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood on Tuesday. “Because at the time I was going through a breakup that was kind of public, and everyone knew about it. And I felt like, it’s not a secret, so why not write about it and say how I’m feeling about it and what it feels like?”
The recording process was therapeutic for her, and helped craft 14 co-written songs from her.
“I feel like when you write you do depict from what you’re going through in your life, and that’s what I was going through at the time, so it just made sense for me, therapeutically, to write it out and get it out,” Britney said. “You kinda of do put yourself in an exposed situation and you’re putting yourself out there a little bit, but I feel like it’s better to do that than keep it in.”
Britney said she’s just as excited to release her eighth studio album as her first.
“I feel like I have more to say now, I’m older and I’m open to experiment with the album and work with different people and collaborate,” she said. “And I just think the creative process is more indulgent, it’s more fun.”

MOSCOW – Madonna has signed up for a campaign in support of Russia’s LGBT community.
The U.S. singer, who has repeatedly expressed her outrage against the law on gay propaganda, has joined the Human Rights Campaign’s "Love Conquers Hate" initiative. As the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics approaches, more and more Western celebrities are worried that the law, adopted first in St. Petersburg and later nationwide, could be used as a means to crack down on the local LGBT community.
"Even with the 2014 Sochi Olympics just a few months away, fair-minded Russians are facing fines, harassment and violence at the hand of thugs," Madonna said on the campaign’s website. "At this dangerous moment in Russian history, we, as advocates, have a responsibility to speak up and take our hopeful message global."
She continued: "Together, we can send a message to LGBT Russians that the world is on their side, and that those who seek to support them aren’t alone in this fundamental fight for fairness."
Russian LGBT rights organizations have welcomed Madonna’s move. "It is very important that celebrities like Madonna or Lady Gaga join initiatives of that kind,” Maria Kozlovskaya, a lawyer for the Russian LGBT Network, a national organization with a headquarters in St Petersburg, told the The Hollywood Reporter.
"That inspires the LGBT community members to further fight for their rights and gives them hope for improvement of their situation," she added.
Madonna’s August 2012 performance in St Petersburg, during which she spoke in support of local gays, waved an LGBT flag and stripped to black lingerie, showing the words "No Fear" scrawled on her bare back, stirred controversy. A local organization tried to sue her under the gay propaganda law for $10 million (333 million rubles), but the court threw out the lawsuit.

The likely new No. 1 on next week's Billboard's Hot 100 will be Garth Brooks' box set, "Blame It All On My Roots," which could sell upwards of 150,000. The six-CD/two-DVD set, which is exclusively sold through Walmart stores, debuted at No. 3 on this week's chart after less than four days on sale. It bowed with 164,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The package was released on Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving day), and the most recent tracking week ended on Sunday, Dec. 1.
Indie Jean expected to debut around Nos. 2-4 on next week's chart. IJ may sell around 115,000 to 120,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, Dec. 8.
"Britney Jean" will also have to contend with the continuing success of One Direction's current No. 1, "Midnight Memories," and the Robertsons' "Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas" album.
If "Midnight Memories" declines by a typical 75% (or so) in its second week, it could sell around 135,000. The Robertson family -- of the hit TV show "Duck Dynasty" -- sold 136,000 of its album this week. As many Christmas albums are building in weekly sales now, the set could see a gain next week. Eminem's "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" is also in the mix. This week, it's No. 2 with 199,000.

5. “I Got a Boy,” Girls’ Generation
The nine-woman South Korean group Girls’ Generation is a ridiculously effective hook machine, and a major phenomenon in Asia, whose biggest pop acts make One Direction and Katy Perry sound like audience-alienating avant-gardists. If you like songs that do everything at once, go straight to YouTube and call up the over-the-top video for this monomaniacally charming hybrid of bubblegum, dubstep and hard rock, whose Korean lyrics are sprinkled with incongruous English phrases (“Ayo, stop, let me put it down another way”).

When The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug roars into theaters on Dec. 13, fans of Tolkien’s Middle-earth books and Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings movies will revel in its magnificent visual delights, the return of their favorite characters, and a first real glimpse at a most lethal dragon. As if that’s not enough to hold your attention, Jackson made his own contribution to the Tolkien universe by introducing a whole new Elven character, Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly) and pairing her with Legolas (Orlando Bloom), the Elven member of the Fellowship of the Ring. “Legolas isn’t discussed in The Hobbit, but as far as Tolkien is concerned, he would have been part of that structure within the Woodland Realm,” Jackson told EW last month. “And we needed characters within the Woodland Realm to drive the story.”
Purists may sniff, but co-writer Philippa Boyens calls Tauriel — a fierce, no-nonsense warrior who understands the danger of the growing evil in Middle-earth before her king does –”a breath of fresh air in many ways.” In the exclusive clip below, she sets out to take on 30 orcs single-handledly. Fortunately, another hero isn’t far behind.

A lot of people have offended Kanye West this year — Jimmy Kimmel, YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, and Nike CEO Mark Parker among them — and in turn, Kanye has pissed off a few people, too. You can now add the Anti-Defamation League to that number, thanks to some comments from one of Yeezy’s many recent radio interviews.
In his interview with Power 105.1′s morning show, The Breakfast Club, Kanye offered these comments on President Obama:
Lemme tell you something about George Bush and oil money and Obama and no money. People wanna say Obama can’t make these moves or he’s not executing … that’s ’cause he ain’t got those connections. Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people!
Now the Anti-Defamation League is accusing Kanye of anti-Semitism, and they’re demanding an apology. Here’s an excerpt from ADL National Director Abraham H. Foxman’s response (via Pitchfork):
This is classic anti-Semitism. There it goes again, the age-old canard that Jews are all-powerful and control the levers of power in government. As a celebrity with a wide following, Kanye West should know better. We hope that he will take responsibility for his words, understand why they are so offensive, and apologize to those he has offended.

Roger Rodas, the man believed to be driving the car in the crash that killed him and actor Paul Walker, leaves behind a family, a charity he founded with Walker, and friends and fans of his own.
Here are five things to know about him:
He was married and had two young children
The 38-year-old El Salvador native was known as a loving family man, CNN affiliate KCAL reported.
His young son was among the first to arrive at the scene after the accident, said Jim Torp, a car enthusiast who was at the same charity event as Rodas and Walker. "I knew his son was heading towards the accident. And he got past me because he knew there was a fire and he wanted to see it. But he didn't know it was his dad until he saw the car."

We spend the hour with French filmmaker Michel Gondry, the director of a highly unusual new film, "Is the Man Who is Tall Happy?" It is an animated representation of Gondry’s conversations with the legendary political dissident, linguist, author and MIT professor, Noam Chomsky. The innovative documentary introduces viewers to Chomsky’s theories and ideas through a series of conversations brought to life by Gondry’s vibrant hand-drawn animations. As Chomsky speaks, Gondry’s rapidly moving pencil illustrates his words. The men discuss everything from Chomsky’s pioneering work in childhood language acquisition to his views on education, religion and astrology. Gondry’s past films include the Academy Award-winning "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," the musical documentary "Dave Chappelle’s Block Party" and "The Science of Sleep." He has also directed dozens of music videos by artists including Björk, Kanye West, Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones.

It looks like someone important heard your/my prayers that were totally polite and not at all threatening in their request for more Sherlock, because BBC One just released 30 new photos from the show's upcoming third season. I'm not saying it's a [insert your preferred holiday here] miracle, but it might be a [insert your preferred holiday here] miracle!
There's plenty to look at and dissect in these photos—like, do you think Watson's mustache was just his way of dealing with his grief over Sherlock's apparent death? Because it looks like he shaved it once he discovered his BFF and former flatmate didn't actually die and has just been hiding out, playing the violin, and eating a lot of cronuts for a couple of years. Let's also chat for a moment about Mary Morstan (Amanda Abbington), Watson's new lady friend. Do you think she liked the mustache? Or do you think she's throwing parties to celebrate Watson's upper lip's newfound freedom? Either way, after studying these new images and watching the latest Season 3 teaser, I'm pretty certain Watson punches Sherlock at their first meeting. Whether or not it's because Sherlock has insulted the mustache remains to be seen.

The Weeknd's House of Balloons is one of the more influential records of this decade, but thanks to Solange Knowles, “alt-R&B” would have happened without it. The sonic aesthetic she’s pieced together—a crackling experimental streak with potent pop hooks—is deeply pleasurable, and though she hasn't recorded anything as monumental as House of Balloons, people have increasingly taken notice. It's unknown whether or not Solange was attempting to claim the credit she’s owed while curating her Saint Heron compilation, but listening to it, it certainly has that result. Although most of its songs are previously released, she’s assembled them into a coherent piece that transcends the usual odds-and-sods nature of the compilation format. It's an aesthetic manifesto of a specific corner of a rapidly expanding scene—the Flex Your Head or No New York of ambitious, minimalist R&B that possesses considerable mainstream ambition and appeal.

When a cop comedy starring Andy Samberg, the president of private parts in beautifully-wrapped boxes and former SNL fratboy commando, first came into being, the prospects were slim. Thanks to Samberg, Brooklyn Nine-Nine seemed destined for jokes that weren’t funny, but made us laugh at the teller’s sheer audacity. But we gave it a shot, determined to believe that the influence of former Office and Parks and Recreation alum Michael Schur and his creative partner Dan Goor wouldn’t steer us wrong. Now, with the first half of the season accounted for, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is officially one of the best new shows of 2013 and it’s on track to become even better as Fox gives it time to blossom.
Without discrediting the work of the creators and writers, the most obvious reason BK99 is working so incredibly well is that Samberg’s post SNL comedy has undergone a subtle, yet wildly important makeover. Perhaps being around two guys (Schur and Goor) whose past work skews both brutally hilarious and sentimental has done him some good, but in the past few months Samberg’s comedy has gained a much-needed softer side.
It began when he participated in The Comedy Central Roast of James Franco and hilariously “failed” at roasting by making each burn a dig on himself rather than the roastee. Samberg’s comedic bravado coupled with a seemingly discordant sense of humility was the perfect set-up for meeting BK99’s Jake Peralta, a “hot-shot” detective who’s not as emotionally stupid or arrogant as he might seem. It took until the eighth episode before Peralta finally showed his capacity for caring, when he punched his hero in the face for uttering a homophobic slur about Captain Holt (Andre Braugher). Since then, this side of Peralta is rarely seen, but we know for sure what he’s capable of. He’s not exactly Leslie Knope, the patron saint of Parks and Rec, but he can borrow a page or two from that playbook when it really matters.

GQ has unveiled an end-of-the year list titled "Year in Babes" and, well, it's pretty hard to argue with these choices.
But rather than just simply roll out the names of several lovely ladies, the magazine has also acknowleged what helped make them so memorable in 2013. (Other than looking really good.)
For example, Jennifer Lawrence was recognized for the "Sexiest (Possibly Fake) Pratfall of the Year," referring to her slight stumble as she made her way to the podium to accept her Oscar.
Elizabeth Moss, meanwhile, was singled out for her Kiwi accent in Top of the Lake and Anna Kendrick made the cut thanks to her rendition of "Cups" in Pitch Perfect.

He later apologized for the remarks, which brought widespread condemnation. This week — after some time off over the Thanksgiving holiday — he officially resigned after three years at the cable network.

Just weeks after Harry Styles was spotted on a date with Kendall Jenner, he’s already being linked to another woman. According to reports from UK tabloids, Harry and Daisy Lowe are beginning to date. Daisy’s an upgrade from the Kardashian sister, definitely, but you can bet that Kris Jenner is furious at this latest development.
After all, she managed to land the biggest and most age-appropriate celebrity in the music world for Kendall, furthering her master plan to turn Kendall into Kim Kardashian 2.0.
It was through her machinations and interference that Kim and Kanye West first got together, and since she’s slowly grooming Kendall to take over for Kim, it makes sense that she would want Kendall to end up with someone of equal stature. And Harry Styles definitely fit the bill, which Kris didn’t waste any time telling the world about. It would hardly be surprising to find out that the paparazzi were called and set up by the Kardashians, just in time for Harry’s and Kendall’s exit from their ‘date’. After all, it landed Kendall a gig presenting an award at the AMA Awards, and continued to cement her place in pop culture.
Alas, Harry seems to have realized that dating a Kardashian family member is not the best idea for either his privacy or his image, and he’s backed off. Much to Kris’s chagrin, he’s upgraded to Daisy Lowe, who is far better suited to both his status and sensibilities – and she won’t call the paps on him.
idk i just thought this was funny
She had barely a line in Anna Karenina, but Cara Delevingne looks like she'll be making quite impression in The Face Of An Angel.
The British model was spotted filming scenes for the Amanda Knox movie with co-star Daniel Brühl, and it looked she and him would be sharing a kiss.
With a smile on her face, Cara, 21, leans into the actor, which could potentially make it her first onscreen kiss.
In the film based on the murder case of Meredith Kerchner, Delevingne plays Melanie, a young Englishwoman whom she described as ‘an independent spirited girl’. ‘The idea I had of her is that she’s like me and a lot of my friends who are 21 and travelling around Europe,’ she said.
Melanie meets a film-maker, Thomas (played by Brühl), who is going through a mid-life crisis as he prepares to make a picture about the murder of a British student in Tuscany.
He’s working alongside Simone (Beckinsale) when he meets Melanie in a bar.
‘There’s something about her that captivates him,’ Cara said. ‘It’s very innocent. He’s missing his daughter, and he’s taken by her.’

The most shocking aspect of Kanye West's spectacular concert Tuesday night at the Sprint Center in Kansas City wasn't another suspect remark from the brash rapper. The meager attendance of less than 4,500 seemed inconceivably small for one of the most vital artists in popular music.
West almost certainly could have filled the Sprint Center five years ago. Tuesday's poor attendance indicates how his scandalous love life, frequent impolite pronouncements and his gradual shift away from conventional hip-hop have alienated many of his fans.
The thin turnout didn't deter West from fully investing himself in a visually extravagant and musical rewarding production. A ramped mountain dominated the set. Occasionally peopled by a red-eyed monster and a dozen enigmatic dancers, the imposing structure evoked H.P. Lovecraft's horrific "At the Mountains of Madness" more than the Space Mountain attraction at Disneyland.
West seemed repentant during an engaging eight-minute monologue.
"I don't always say the right things at the right time," West said. "I'm better at saying the wrong things at the wrong time."
A transcendent moment occurred at the conclusion of West's "Jesus Walks." At the appearance of a costumed person West referred to as "white Jesus," West kneeled as he removed one of the masks he'd worn thoughout the concert. In a performance filled with bombast, the simple gesture seemed profoundly humble.
