Take Your Licks
by Amy Poehler October 14, 2013
I was seventeen and sticky. It was the summer of 1989, and I was off to college in a few months. The Massachusetts town where I grew up was decidedly blue collar, filled with teachers and nurses and the occasional sales manager. My friends and I fell asleep to the sound of our parents arguing about car payments and tuition. It was our soundtrack, this din of worry. If you were young, you were expected to have a part-time job.
I got one, scooping ice cream at Chadwick’s, a local parlor that specialized in sundaes and giant steak fries. Summer jobs are often romantic; the time frame creates a perfect parenthesis. Chadwick’s was not. Hard and physical, the job consisted of stacking and wiping and scooping and lifting. At the end of my shift, every removable piece of the restaurant would be carted off and washed. Vinyl booths were searched and scrubbed. This routine seemed Sisyphean at first, but I soon learned the satisfaction of working at a place that truly closed. I took great joy in watching people stroll in after hours, thinking they could grab a late-night sundae. I would point to the dimmed lights and stacked chairs as proof that we were shut. It was deliciously obvious and final.
Chadwick’s was one of those fake old-timey restaurants. The menus were written in swoopy cursive. The staff wore Styrofoam boaters and ruffled white shirts with bow ties. Jangly music blared from a player piano as children climbed on counters. If the style of the restaurant was old-fashioned, the parenting that went on there was distinctly modern. Moms and dads would patiently recite every item on the menu to their squirming five-year-olds, as if the many flavors of ice cream represented all the unique ways they were loved.
There was a performance element to the job that I found appealing, to begin with. Every time a customer was celebrating a birthday, an employee had to bang a drum that hung from the ceiling, and play the kazoo, and encourage the entire restaurant to join him or her in a sing-along. Other employees would ring cowbells and blow noisemakers. I would stand on a chair and loudly announce, “Ladies and gentlemen, we are so happy to have you at Chadwick’s today, but we are especially happy to have Kevin! Because it’s Kevin’s birthday today! So, at the sound of the drum, please join me in singing Kevin a very happy birthday!”
I wasn’t sure yet that I wanted to be an actor. I was planning to go to Boston College as an English major and maybe become a teacher, like both of my parents. But when I stood in the dining room and demanded attention I was reminded of things I already secretly knew about myself. I wasn’t shy, I liked to be looked at, and making people laugh released a certain kind of hot lava into my body that made me feel like a queen.
High school jobs, ONTD?
Whether the fast food chain is confused about their corporate identity, or trying to stir things up is unclear, but one thing is for sure, Burger King is now Fries King. With the launch of a “French Fry Burger” and their new crinkle-cut fries that feature 40% less fat and 30% fewer calories, the company is pretty serious about potatoes.
While the aim might be to inspire confidence in their new french fry offerings, the brand has actually created a lot of confusion amongst their fans. Reactions to the company’s 32-photo Facebook album range from confusion all the way through to anger, many of whom want the company to revert back to their “well known family name.”

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston have developed a strong bond and friendship from their work on the 'Thor' movies and 'The Avengers'.
'Thor: The Dark World' stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston have a great bond.
Chris and Tom - who play warring brothers Thor and Loki respectively in the Marvel movies, including 2012's 'The Avengers' - have developed a strong relationship on and off set after working together on three movies in as many years.
Hemsworth said of his on-screen brother: ''I know that he makes me better, straight up. Because we have such a history - as people, let alone as characters - I know anything I do is received without judgement. And he knows it's the same back. It's great.''
Hiddleston added to Total Film magazine: ''Chemistry is a weird, indefinable thing that people talking about in a film all the time, and they really talk about it between men and women in romantic comedies, but Chris and I know we have this great chemistry. We love it, so we have a good time. Thor and Loki have exceeded our expectations in every way.''
Since betraying his brother in 2011's 'Thor', and attempting to take over the world in 'The Avengers', Loki will be seen working alongside Thor in the new movie - but he will still be just as mischievous as ever.
Hiddleston teased: ''The Thor/Loki relationship is interesting. There's even more to play with, more to extend it and more to make it deeper, darker and more fun. I am the god of mischief ... I'm still mischievous, I'm still the trickster.''
But seriously, if you ever have the opportunity to see Kelly live...

Katy Perry and John Mayer decided to spend the day with Mickey and the gang.
The two lovebirds were spotted hanging out at Disneyland today with a group of friends. Perry and Mayer were each dressed casually, with the pop singer wearing shorts, a T-shirt and floppy hat, while rocker Mayer donned a baseball cap, plaid shirt and jeans.
A source tells E! News that the couple was with a handful of other people and didn't engage in too much PDA, but stayed close together.
Mayer recently opened up to Jimmy Kimmel about his duet with Katy called "Who You Love" on his upcoming album Paradise Valley.
When asked what it was like to work together in the studio, the singer gushed, "She was fantastic."
"It was a really great experience and the song is one of these like old FM '70s and '80s sort of like duets," he said. "And I listened back to it, it's like, really convincing. And I watched it get made and I'm still kind of taken aback."
Ron Burgundy isn't just delivering the news. He's also selling cars.
Dodge has released a series of videos revealing their partnership with Will Ferrell's character from the popular Anchorman movies for the 2014 Dodge Durango ad campaign.
"Proud to announce one of the best Rons in the business is the new face of Durango. #BurgundyDodge http://www.burgundydodge.com," the car brand's Twitter posted.
So why does Ron Burgundy think you should buy a 2014 Dodge Durango? Let's go over all the perks...
The vehicle has 360 horsepower, which, according to Burgundy, makes the Dodge Durango 360 better than a horse. Not only that, the car can fit up to 70 packs of gum! Say whaaa!
His Dodge partnership isn't the only thing Ron Burgundy's got going on right now.
To coincide with the release of the hotly anticipated sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues, Burgundy himself is penning a memoir, to be titled Let Me Off at the Top! My Classy Life and Other Musings.
"I don't know if it's the greatest autobiography ever written. I'm too close to the work," said the revered San Diego newsman. "I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing...I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!"
Maybe while driving a 2014 Dodge Durango?
Honestly, that commercial could have been better.

Adding to his varied resumé, James Franco appears in a new ad campaign for the Gucci fragrance Made to Measure.
Overseeing the Sunset strip in Los Angeles is a giant billboard with the "Pineapple Express" star on it, clad in a fancy tuxedo.
In an interview with GQ, the 35-year-old actor-director said, "The man that might wear Gucci Made to Measure is someone who is trying to make a statement."
As for the scents that get his feelings and memories flowing, James replies, "pine needles, incense, and spaghetti."
Jim Jarmusch, possible the coolest director alive, has not been the most prolific of directors as of late, with an average of four years going between his film for the past 18 years or so. His last film, "The Limits Of Control", was considered a disappointment by many (though this critic did like it), so it’s been nearly a decade since Jarmusch made a film that most people liked (then again, he’s never really been the kind of director most people like). But with "Only Lovers Left Alive", Jarmusch is back in top form.
The 33-year-old actress looked adorable in a white and checkered shirt dress that she wore to the event at the SVA Theater 1.

Relativity Television has partnered with Georgeville Television and actor/producer Bradley Cooper for Limitless, a scripted TV series based on Relativity’s hit 2011 movie starring and executive produced by Cooper.
He will executive produce the drama, with the film’s producers Leslie Dixon and Scott Kroopf serving as co-executive producers. The announcement will be made at the upcoming MIPCOM market in Cannes, where Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh will give a keynote speech Tuesday. “Limitless is the perfect example of Relativity’s multiplatform approach to creating quality content,” he said. Added Georgeville TV CEO Marc Rosen, “The film has an organic natural extension into a compelling and sophisticated one-hour drama that is both a thrill-ride and a social commentary.”
The Limitless feature is a paranoia-fueled action thriller about an unsuccessful writer whose life is transformed by a top-secret “smart drug” that allows him to use 100% of his brain and become a perfect version of himself. His enhanced abilities soon attract shadowy forces that threaten his new life. The film opened at No. 1 at the domestic box office on its way to grossing more than $160 million worldwide and subsequently sold 2 million-plus home video units.

Her album Bangerz was one of the most hotly anticipated releases of the year and her latest video, ‘Wrecking Ball’ broke YouTube viewing records in 24 hours, so it’s safe to say that Miley Cyrus is on a bit of a high right now.
Starting out as the saccharine sweet TV character Hannah Montana when she was just 13, Miley has grown up on a world stage and has let the public in on her life since then, courting controversy along the way – whether that’s in the form of a nearly naked shoot with a bed sheet for Annie Leibovitz at 15 or twerking provocatively with Robin Thicke at the VMAs this August. But the one constant? The public fascination with the young woman from Nashville has never subsided. But why?

The M.I.A./Versace collaboration is officially arriving, and it's arriving soon. Women's Wear Daily (via the Telegraph) reports that the line will arrive in stores on October 16. And you don't necessarily need to be able to afford Versace to get it—the pieces are part of Versace's (relatively) more affordable Versus line.
The concept of the pieces (pictured above) are perfectly M.I.A.-like. M.I.A. told WWD that she presented the brand with an idea to create a line based on counterfeit Versace pieces. "The theme of counterfeits, of those that produce and sell them has always been part of the culture of M.I.A.," she said. "When I was contacted by Versace, it seemed a great idea to invert the circle. Versace's designs have always been copied, now it's Versace that copies the copies, so those that copy must copy the copies. So this will continue."
"I adore the energy of the street, so when M.I.A. proposed to expose the issue of counterfeit Versace pieces by creating a collaboration inspired by these items, I thought it was an incredible idea," Donatella Versace added. "The collection represents all that I love of the new Versus Versace: it's fast, it's noisy, it's brazen and it blends the world of music with that of fashion."
The line consists of 19 pieces. Find more info and photos here.

Rumours are swirling that dozens of long missing Doctor Who episodes have been found in Africa. Classic stories such as The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear are claimed to be part of the haul, which has been rumoured in fan circles for months. While the BBC has issued a series of vaguely worded denials since rumours first emerged earlier this year, the story picked up momentum on Sunday when The Radio Times ran a story claiming that two stories featuring the second doctor, Patrick Troughton, will be made available to download on iTunes on Wednesday (9 October).
UPDATE: Okay, The Mirror are now saying that the announcement has been delayed and that we can expect a press conference on Friday. Grr!
So, who believes? I've been following these rumours for months and can confidently say the odds are very much in favour of this being true.

The Dexter series finale enraged many fans for many reasons; chief among them was the fact that Dexter lived — and became a logger? — despite having driven his boat into a hurricane. "How about that finale?" said Dexter producer John Goldwyn at the NYFF premiere of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty this weekend, when we asked how the writers decided on that ending.
"They won't let us kill him," he told us. "Showtime was very clear about that. When we told them the arc for the last season, they just said, 'Just to be clear, he's going to live.' There were a lot of endings discussed because it was a very interesting problem to solve, to bring it to a close. People have a relationship with Dexter, even if it doesn't have the size and the ferocity of the fan base for Breaking Bad. But it has a very core loyal following." Yes, and a mostly disappointed one.
Sharon Leal has joined the cast of NBC's fantasy drama Grimm, in what will be a recurring role, playing a physical therapist, helping Hank (played by Russell Hornsby) recover from his ankle injury.
Could there be a romance budding here for old Hank?
It looks that way, as Hornsby himself previously shared that his character just might find himself a love interest during the upcoming 3rd season, which debuts on October 25.
Leal's character is described as "smart, beautiful and mysterious (she is totally going to be a thingybob - op)," a winning combo in my book!
Both have previously appeared in the same TV series, in Suits in 2011.
Up next for Leal, look for her playing opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. in Fox's Greg Belanti legal drama series Guilty, if that project is ever given life.
And on the big screen, she stars in Lionsgate's adaptation of erotic fiction writer Zane's popular novel Addicted, which will be out on March 14, 2014.
She also plays Cuba Gooding Jr.'s wife in a slave-themed drama Carry Me Home (previously titled Something Whispered) - a tale set in 1850, which centers on a man named Samuel (Gooding), who attempts to free his family from institutionalized slavery, intent on escaping from the tobacco plantation they have been forced to call their home for two generations.
Miley Cyrus likes smoking weed, y'all. She also likes her friend and mentee Justin Bieber.
So, it should come as no surprise that Ms. Cyrus has a "Reefer Fever" tank top that shows a droopy-eyed Biebs toking up on a cartoon joint. The "Wrecking Ball" singer tweeted a picture of herself wearing said shirt on Monday, Oct. 7, adding, "@justinbieber FO LIFE."
Miley explained to Rolling Stone's Oct. 8 issue that she's spent "a little time" advising Justin. "Because I've been doing this s--t for a long time, and I already transitioned, and I don't think he's quite done it yet," she said. "People don't take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play guitar, he really can sing…I just don't want to see him f--k that up, to where people think he's Vanilla Ice. I tell him that. Like, 'You don't want to become a joke. When you go out, don't start s--t. Don't come in shirtless.' But the thing is, I think boys are, like, seven years behind. So in his head, he's really, like, 12."
After these quotes got some pickup, Miley, 20, took to Twitter to clarify what she meant, writing, "Always have ALWAYS will root for @justinbieber he always has and ALWAYS will be the s--t...#onlylamestwistwords."
And while Justin, 19, isn't an outspoken marijuana aficionado like Miley, he's not exactly a total stranger to ganja. In early 2013, he was snapped at a party holding what appeared to be a blunt. He didn't release an official statement addressing this, but he did allude to it during his Saturday Night Live hosting stint in February.
"I also heard he got busted for smoking weed and he's really sorry about it," he said about himself in third person, playing the president of the Miley Cyrus fan club in a sketch. He then added sincerely, "People make mistakes, and he's never gonna do it again."
Pretty dope way to handle that!

As part of her sentence, she was also ordered to spend three months under home confinement, but Hill is determined to kickstart her career again and asked a U.S. judge to give her a pass to hit the road.
According to Tmz.com, her request to tour from 15 November (13) to 31 December (13) was authorised, allowing her to start booking shows, although her probation officer will still have to sign off on the final details.
She will resume her home detention on New Year's Day (01Jan14).
Don’t you just love JoJo? She’s one of those artists that can SANG!!! but unfortunately due to label woes, she hasn’t released an album in seven years. In the meantime, she’s still pushing and has been releasing covers like Drake’s “Marvin’s Room” (which she killed!!!) and a track titled “Andre” which was an ode to Andre 3000. She’s also on tour with Leah LaBelle.
This week, they performed a show in Arizona, and the audience loved her performance so much that they demanded an encore. By this time, the band had left the stage, and she didn’t have anything prepared so she covered SWV’s 90′s hit song “Weak” a capella. She did that!
Sidebar: To catch you up to speed, JoJo filed a lawsuit against Blackground Records this summer in an attempt to be released from her contract, which her parents signed when she was a minor. Blackground filed a response to her lawsuit, stating that she agreed to continue to record for them in 2009 after she was of legal age of consent and would like the case dismissed.
This all looks like it will result in more album delays and back and forth between JoJo and her label, which is so unfortunate.
Fox Searchlight wants to stay in the David E. Talbert business, signing up the author and filmmaker again, this time to adapt fellow author Cheryl Jarvis' 2008 novel, The Necklace, which tells the true story of 13 women who took a risk, collectively buying an expensive diamond necklace with the intent being to share it, and, in the process, changed not only themselves but their community.
Talbert is on-board to adapt the novel to screenplay, but not to direct, although I won't be surprised if he is eventually pegged to helm the project as well.
Talbert's rom-com Baggage Claim, which stars Paula Patton, and which was released by Fox Searchlight, is currently in theaters, doing moderately well (relative to its budget).

Francis Lawrence—director of the forthcoming Catching Fire, the second installment of the Hunger Games series (out November 22)—on taking over a juggernaut and appeasing its rabid fan base.
A few popular YA books have struggled recently as film adaptations, like Mortal Instruments and Beautiful Creatures. Why does Hunger Games work?
Author Suzanne Collins was raised in a military family, so she grew up learning about the consequences of war. Even though it’s sort of an alternate world, it’s still relatable.
You have all these pedigree actors coming in, from Philip Seymour Hoffman in Catching Fire to Julianne Moore in Mockingjay. You could have had no-name actors, and the fans would have accepted that.
If you can have Philip Seymour Hoffman, get Philip Seymour Hoffman! And he loved the books, so he signed on. Same with Jeffrey Wright. Same with Julianne. If you can just get those amazing actors, then that’s 80 percent of my job.

Couple things you knew were going to happen but should still be excited about anyway: 1) South Park is doing a George Zimmerman episode, and; 2) Cartman will be the Zimmerman stand-in.
From the South Park Studios press release:
The world faces death, destruction, chaos and Eric Cartman in all-new episode of “South Park” titled “World War Zimmerman,” premiering Wednesday, October 9 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
Cartman is deeply disturbed by a single person who he sees as a threat to all humanity. He races around the country to put an end to Patient Zero, the ticking time bomb that is Token.
The preview clip is below. This seems like a good time to remind you that SVU also took on the Zimmerman/Martin situation recently, but did so by having Cybill Shepherd play a fake Paula Deen who shot an unarmed black teenager because she suspected he may have been a serial rapist, and the ensuing investigation also touched on the controversy surrounding stop-and-frisk. It's easy to see why Boise is excited about Paul. The only other super-famous Boise resident was also a Paul. Paul Revere (of Paul Revere & the Raiders, not Paul Revere & the Midnight Riders). But that was a long time ago.
In a video called "Breaking Boise" released by Bushmills whiskey, which sponsored Paul's trip to Boise and the packed screening at the Egyptian, a heavily bearded Paul talks to a group of his old friends about how much he loves Idaho and Boise.
"I feel like I still have that Idaho boy in me," Paul says. Then he looks out the window at the Egyptian theater where fans are already lining up. "I used to come here as a kid, just always wanting to be in the movies that played here."

Bethenny Frankel has grown increasingly angry with Ellen DeGeneres , for not helping to get A-list celebrities to appear on her fledgling chat fest, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.DeGeneres produces Frankel’s freshman talk show, Bethenny, and the first time host “is absolutely peeved that she has been unable to get a big name celebrity to come on. Frankel was told numerous times by DeGeneres before the show premiered that she would absolutely help her in getting all of the big names in show business,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
“During Bethenny’s trial run, DeGeneres pulled some strings and got Justin Bieber to come on. DeGeneres’ former booker is now working for Bethenny but he’s been unable to get Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow or Miley Cyrus. The big name celebrities don’t want to go on a talk show hosted by a former Bravo housewife. It’s causing major drama behind the scenes of Frankel’s show, which is struggling in the ratings.”During the ladies respective premiere week, guests on Ellen included, Leah Remini , Simon Cowell and Celine Dion. Frankel’s premiere week guests were Nick Cannon, Flo Rida & Kelly Osbourne .
Anna Sui Spring/Summer 2014
While New York took a more sedated road in the beauty realm (there were more 'natural' looks then we could keep count!), we were pleasantly surprised when we spotted the look at Anna Sui. Blue eye shadow has been having a moment for the past few seasons, and we loved the azure shade that was pushed into the inner corners of the eye. Add some beauty waves and we've got a new summer look to try.

Since his appearance as Papa Doc in Eminem's 8 Mile, Anthony Mackie has remained one of the busiest actors around, with 42 film and television credits over the past 11 years. And with a new movie in theaters every weekend for the next three weeks, this Brooklyn transplant is showing no signs of slowing down. Out tomorrow is Runner, Runner, a thriller about high-stakes online gambling that costars Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake. For his part, Mackie plays Agent Shavers, a savvy FBI operative willing to step outside the law to get Timberlake to squeal. Rolling Stone chatted with the New Orleans native about food, friendship and the film biz, including his upcoming introduction into The Avengers universe as Sam Wilson (a.k.a. Falcon) in Captain America: Winter Soldier.

Are you aware of the fact that your photo is on the cover of a Serbian biology textbook for 8th graders (showing him the photo of the book)? One would assume the image is supposed to portray a happy family, but it’s actually a film still from brothers Coen’s Raising Arizona where you and Holly Hunter kidnap the kid.
I don’t know why I’m on a cover of a biology textbook. I don’t know what the story behind it is, but it’s a nice picture. Holly and I seem to be getting along very well there and there is a little baby. That’s cute.
Would you say that you are still as passionate as you were as a young actor?
More so. My goal is to return to independently spirited drama where I came from. I more than ever feel the need to reinvent myself. I had a wonderful opportunity with David Gordon Green to work on a movie called Joe, we both got to dig deep on that together, it’s a very dark movie. Than Scott Walker’s The Frozen Ground is a movie I did with John Cusack – it’s a true story about an Alaskan serial killer who John plays and the cop who arrested him. This guy was actually hunting women as if they were animals in the snow. It’s a terrifying story. Both film makers really care, they are both young, enthusiastic and I am excited to work with them, so I am still passionate.
Why do you feel that you have to reinvent yourself?
You always have to. Once I asked David Bowie how do you always do it, how do you do this, how do you always come up with a new sound. He said because I just never got comfortable. I took those words to heart because I knew what he meant. You can’t get comfortable. If you listen to prays any more than you listen to criticism you can get too comfortable doing one thing, and if you listen to criticism you can get it personally and shut down as if you have had a verbally abusive father. So you can’t listen to either, you just can listen to your instrument.

Khloe & Lamar -- Signs Point to Crack Binge ... During Bizarre Phone Call On 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'
Crack undertones on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" last night ... when Khloe took a bizarre phone call from a confused Lamar Odom ... and couldn't deny that something was clearly wrong.
During the scene, Lamar demands to know Khloe's location -- because he was told she was at another location doing something wrong.
But Khloe shoots back -- saying, "You keep calling me at my mom's [house] so you know where I am."
Khloe, clearly annoyed with Lamar, says he's not being "logical" -- and then starts making excuses for him ... saying he seems "tired."
At one point, Khloe tells Lamar ... "Listen, you're buggin' just a little bit."
It's unclear when the scene was shot -- but as we previously reported, Lamar's been struggling with crack for a while ... going out of his mind on multiple binges.

Sauce 1/Sauce 2
So the smear campaign begins. The Suicide/OD story so that if something happens to him, they can be like "See?? This is why I didn't do anything! I'm a good person!"
Also I'd believe the phone call actually happened if they had his voice too. Wonder if this was filmed recently to look like it was earlier in the year aka "Kim and Kris' Car Ride" style.
Did you hear the one about Justin Timberlake's movie-star card being revoked by the Hollywood Police? You did not. That's because, one, there is no such thing as the Hollywood Police, two, there is no such thing as a movie-star card, and, three, there is no reason Justin Timberlake should, as a Variety headline urged Monday, "stop acting."
True, Timberlake is not at his box-office peak after "Runner Runner." His new gambling thriller in which he stars alongside Ben Affleck got off to an expectedly lousy start this past weekend.
And, true, Timberlake has never really had a box-office peak, having yet to top-line a No. 1-opening movie.
And so what?

Britney Spears dined out last night with her boyfriend and a bunch of his friends ... and alcohol became an issue.
The group of 8 went to dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, near L.A. We're told before Britney arrived, a few people in the group ordered drinks at the bar. They all then went to their table in the restaurant, leaving the drinks behind.
Here's the deal ... Britney -- who once had a serious drinking issue that caused the custody judge to order her to undergo random testing -- has laid down the law with friends -- no one drinks when she's at the table. Someone who was there tells TMZ ... a waitress came by and brought a glass of wine that one of the women had been drinking, and apparently the woman knew the drill and said the waitress was mistaken -- she wasn't drinking wine.
Apparently ... it was too much for at least one of the people to take. We're told once Britney left ... one of the guys at the table made a beeline for the bar, ordered 3 vodkas in rapid succession and got kinda wasted.

On Friday, Britney made the rounds with radio stations all over the country to promote her Las Vegas residency, the “Work Bitch” music video and her upcoming studio album. During her first Houston interview (with Hot 95.7), Britney would pause before answering each question for reasons unknown. After she said her goodbyes, the radio hosts trashed her saying “those meds blocked her hearing” and she didn’t answer fast enough because has voices in her head.
Her second Houston interview, this time with with Roula & Ryan from 104.1 KRBE, went equally as bad – so bad it won’t be aired.
They wanted to change up the interview process which resulted in the station getting “in trouble,” and now can’t share it.
This lead to a five-minute segment on the air today about how unprofessional Britney is for not being equipped (in their opinion) to answer questions.
They bring on a fan who interns at the station and says they’re very disappointed as a Britney fan. [SOURCE]
Sounds like they're mad they made fun of her to her face and her team didn't like that. At 2:13 they mention it. They had valid points, but up to that point, they lost me.

yas! snatch those award winning roles!
24 may be slated for another run on Fox, but that’s not the only place where it’s being revived.
Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor—who crossed over to Hollywood with a turn in the Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire, followed by a guest-starring role as Middle Eastern President Omar Hassan on season 8 of 24 — is adapting the hit series for Indian audiences.
It’s a move that’s breaking convention in more ways than one. Such an ambitious TV series (which is set to debut overseas on Oct. 4) is nearly unheard of in India where primetime is dominated by soaps and reality shows. And Kapoor isn’t just exec producing, he’s also taking on the starring role of the Jack Bauer-esque hero Jay Singh Rathore. (Indian movie stars generally only make TV appearances when they’ve got a film to promote.) To top it off, most Indian shows don’t have seasons—soaps run 5, sometimes 6 days a week year-round. Kapoor is planning to air 24 twice a week with hiatuses every couple of months similar to its American counterpart.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor explains what prompted him to adapt the series, how he’s doing it, and why it’s so risky.

Everyone wants to be in the Kevin Hart business these days! The man is on fire!
The actor/comedian has set up an untitled divorced-couple comedy at the house where Shonda Rhimes calls home - ABC.
The comedy will give audiences a candid look at the like of a couple after their divorce, as they try to rebuild their relationship as friends, for the sake of their children. The project hails from the writers and producers of Community and Scrubs (shut up and take my money! - op), Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan, and will be based on Kevin Hart’s own stand-up material.
However, Hart isn't expected to star in the series (praise be to xenu - op). Instead, he'll likely take a recurring role (assuming the series is picked up).
Hart will exec produce along with 3 Arts’ Dave Becky, Goldman, and Donovan.
It's been an incredibly busy year for Hart. Strike while the iron is hot as the saying goes...
He'll be co-starring with Will Ferrell in a comedy titled Get Hard; he's starring alongside veterans Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone in a film called Grudge Match, in which he plays a fight promoter who gets both old men to return to the ring; there's the remake of the 1986 rom-com, About Last Night, starring Hart, Michael Ealy, Joy Bryant and Regina Hall; Also Ride Along, starring Hart and Ice Cube in the action comedy; there's also The Wedding Ringer, which stars Hart and Josh Gad, in which Hart plays a charismatic guy who provides best man services for socially-challenged guys, who can’t get anyone to stand by them on their wedding days; and there's the sequel to Think Like A Man.
Does anyone know/recognize what the second to last song playing in the episode that aired tonight was? Tried using The Google and came up short ... that's never happened before. It's when she's reading the file.
Emma Watson is favourite to land the lead role in Scarlett Johansson’s directorial debut Summer Crossing.
The Harry Potter star leads a shortlist for the part of 17-year-old Grady McNeil in the forthcoming film, which is based on Truman Capote’s novel of the same name.
Emma’s recent performance in The Bling Ring brought her to the attention of Scarlett because she convincingly played a teenager, despite actually being 23.
Grady McNeil is a wealthy New Yorker who causes controversy when she marries a Jewish man in the 1940s.
For Emma, the role would be another step in her plan to ditch her good girl image and be seen as a sexy leading lady.
Emma believes she can absorb some of Scarlett’s femme fatale allure as well, although she wouldn’t be sharing screen time with the blonde actress as Scarlett has vowed to stay behind the camera this time.
A source close to Emma said: ‘This is the perfect next step for her. Not only is she a big fan of Capote, but she also wants to be considered a screen siren and believes Scarlett can help make that happen.’
Not much to bold here. Take this with a grain of salt; it comes from a notably unreliable source.

Doctor Who actor Matt Smith is to star in a musical version of the controversial novel American Psycho.
The 30-year-old has been cast as the psychopathic serial killer Patrick Bateman in the adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis's 1991 thriller.
The production will run at London's Almeida Theatre from 3 December to 25 January 2014.
The show, announced in January, almost completely sold out within hours of Smith's involvement being revealed.
Set in the 1980s, American Psycho tells the story a 26-year-old Manhattan investment banker whose sanity slowly disintegrates, turning him into a brutal murderer.
It was previously adapted for the big screen in 2000 with Christian Bale in the lead role.
The show will be directed by the Almeida's new artistic director, Rupert Goold, who developed the musical with his former company, Headlong.
The Tony Award-winning composer Duncan Sheik has collaborated with Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark scriptwriter Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa to adapt the book for the stage.
Smith has just finished filming his final scenes for the Christmas special of Doctor Who, which will see his character regenerate into the 12th Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi.
Kanye West was just ordered to stay 10 yards away from the photog he attacked at LAX, but prosecutors got shut down when they asked that Kanye attend anger management classes ... TMZ has learned.
Blair Berk -- considered one the most effective criminal defense lawyers in the country who reps tons of celebs -- appeared in court on Kanye's behalf to ask the judge to make prosecutors fork over all of the info they have in their criminal battery case.
The judge ordered that the info be turned over, and then told prosecutors they should advise the photog -- Daniel Ramos -- to also stay away from Kanye. The judge said everyone involved should NOT use "self-help" -- aka, inciting and ass-whooping.
But then ... prosecutors asked the judge to order Kanye to attend anger management classes as a condition of bail. The judge scoffed, and rejected the request.
Berk is an interesting selection for Kanye because she's known for getting things done under the radar ... something foreign to his baby mama and her relatives.
Kanye needs a Houdini because sources tell us prosecutors have 7 videos showing the attack from virtually every angle.
As far as lawyers who are up to the task ... he chose right.
should get some anger management classes tbf
