K. Michelle Sells 68,000 First Week, Debuts at #2 on Billboard with Rebellious Soul
Huge congratulations are in order for Kimberly Pate, a.k.a. K. Michelle. The Memphis-born singer released her debut album Rebellious Soul last week, and much to everyone’s surprise (even K’s), the record has gotten off to a great start!
Every single Resident Evil fan reading this is well aware of what a mess part 6 was. It was designed as a game that basically "had it all", meaning it would contain facets that would appeal to the different kinds of RE players out there.
But the final product was an overwhelming, bloated train-wreck that made no one happy, most especially the longtime fans, who felt the most disenfranchised. Well, according to a recent interview, it would seem that the message has been heard loud and clear.
Michael Pattison, a now former marketing boss at Capcom, told MCV that everyone at Capcom took what the press as well as players had to say about Resident Evil 6 to heart. As such, that feedback will directly shape how Resident Evil 7 turns out:
"With Resident Evil 6 specifically, we probably put too much content in there, there were comments from consumers that said it felt bloated. The Leon missions went down very well, and because we did Resident Evil Revelations on 3DS, there was a cry out for us to focus our attention on survival horror, rather than be too many things to all people. You’ll find where we go next will likely be more targeted at our core fanbase."
Pattison also notes that he doesn't believe the gaming marketplace is over-saturated with zombie games, though one has to wonder if he'd be saying such words if not for the fact that Telltale's The Walking Dead hadn't come out at the same time and managed to garner so many game of the year accolades.
He also notes that both The Last of Us and Tomb Raider reboot was a sign of what consumers want. So one has to wonder if Resident Evil 7 will indeed be what core fans want: something that plays a lot like Uncharted.

Producer Naughty Boy reportedly wants to take Spears to Cumbria for creative inspiration
Britney Spears will reportedly head to the Lake District to work on tracks for her forthcoming album.
The singer has enlisted Tinie Tempah collaborator Naughty Boy as a producer on the project, and he is apparently planning to take her to Cumbria for creative inspiration.
"He's planning to take Britney on a tour," an unnamed source told The Sun. "They'll be holed up at his studio in [London's] Ealing for most of the time but he wants to weave in a visit to the Lake District. He loves it there."
Meanwhile, Spears has teased fans with the prospect of a big announcement by unveiling a mysterious countdown on her official website. "ALL EYES ON ME" are the only words on the countdown page and at the time of writing the ticker has around 27 days and 22 hours remaining.
As well as Naughty Boy, Spears' collaborators on her forthcoming album, the follow-up to 2011's 'Femme Fatale', include Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange, William Orbit, Sia and will.i.am.
Chace Crawford sports a cool pair of sunglasses while out and about on Monday (August 19) in New York City.
A few weeks ago, the 28-year-old actor was handsome while attending the Moto X Launch in the Big Apple.
Chace‘s upcoming film Responsible Adults, also starring Katie Holmes, is currently is pre-production.
The flick is a romantic comedy “centered on Baxter Wood (Crawford), who realizes that his crush, med student Liz Quinn (Holmes), was his babysitter 15 years ago.”
Pals of “True Blood” star ALEXANDER SKARSGARD say he’s notoriously bad at putting names to faces – even when the face is pretty and famous – but the Swedish-born actor blew the minds of buddies at an LA coffee shop when a sizzling hottie with super-short hair and even shorter shorts waltzed up and said “Hi,” gushed about loving the new season of “True Blood” – then flashed a big smile, purred that she’d see him around and split for the exit.
Said My SpyWitness: “Alex just nodded politely as she walked away until one pal blurted, ‘Dude! You don’t know who that WAS?’”
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bone(r)s opens Wednesday, but the box office predictions are not optimistic:
Mortal Instruments,” which Germany’s Constantin Film produced for $60 million, is based on the Cassandra Clare-penned novel about a teen girl (played by Lily Collins), who discovers she’s the descendant of a demon-killing family lineage. The PG-13-rated film is expected to earn upward of $6 million before Friday.
A projected $12 million weekend gross would put “Instruments” in the $18 million range for five days.
Eight years is almost an eternity in Hollywood marriage terms. But the long lasting union between True Blood star Rutina Wesley and husband Jacob Fishel has seemingly ended with the actress filing for divorce.

It’s another week and another episode of MTV’s Catfish. This week, we’re heading to Pennsylvania to meet Jesse. Jesse is a real life Barbie doll. She’s skinny, blonde, and gorgeous. And in love with a Marine named Brian. Here we go again.
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen pulled in a $42 million salary last year, making her the world’s highest-paid catwalker for the seventh time in a row, according to an annual report by Forbes. The 32-year-old wife of quarterback Tom Brady, immortalized as the “the boobs from Brazil,” not only trounced her colleagues—earning six times more than second place Miranda Kerr’s $7.2 million—she also pulled in more than her husband.
Six of the top ten breadwinning models flew to their place on the list by way of angel wings, enjoying lucrative contracts from Victoria’s Secret. And the list further proves that modeling (the kind that pays) isn’t a young girl’s game: five of the models in the top spots are over 30 (two are pushing 40!) and the youngest is 24 years old, still considered ancient by some in a youth-obsessed fashion world.
I am so happy that it's no longer just on the exclusive backers site and that the VM team decided to release to those whom were unable to be backers. The SDCC Panel (official feed) is also available at the source. This panel was much more relaxed and funnier. 39.30 mark is one of my favorite parts of the panel. Enjoy!
No doubt we're all hoping for an 'N Sync reunion on Sunday at MTV's Video Music Awards.
Sadly, the rumored appearance is still not a done deal.
The New York Post reported this morning that Justin Timberlake, J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick are set to perform together during the big shebang at Brooklyn's Barclay's Center. US Weekly then reported that it was still in the planning stages. "They're in Miami right now trying to put something together, if anything at all," a source tells me. "It may not be a performance."
The source said MTV approached Timberlake about some sort of reunion when it was announced he was being honored at this year's show with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. "They wanted to make sure that 'N Sync was acknowledged as a major part of Justin's success," the source said. "They were together for 10 years before he went solo."
"I don't see that coming anytime soon," Bass told E! News of a possible reunion in 2010. "Justin's very busy with his acting career right now so I think it's going to be quite a while before we even think about doing anything."
Even so, Bass was up for getting back together. "I love being on the stage," he said. "So yeah, anytime the guys would want to do an album, I'm in!"
Bass addressed the VMAs on his Sirius radio show today but did not confirm or deny the reunion was happening.
The latest reports surrounding the VMAs have also fueled rumors that the reunion is just the first step to launching a comeback tour next summer. "I don't think Justin would ever do it," the source said. "But could you imagine the money they would make?"
Reps for Timberlake and MTV did not comment for this story.
(CNN) -- And I didn't think Marissa Mayer, the Yahoo! chief who caused quite a stir with her two-week maternity leave and decision to ban employees working from home, could get any more controversial.
Enter her decision to strike a pose in the September issue of Vogue magazine, lounging on a hammock wearing Michael Kors and stiletto heels, and let the debate, mostly among women, rage on.
"Smart women can be beautiful," said Jen Bosse of the blog, Defining My Happy. "Beautiful women can be leaders of industry. Women should not have to succumb to societal pressure dictating what they are 'allowed' to be and do."
I happen to agree with Jen's sentiment, but other women saw Mayer's pose as a step backward.
"We fight so hard to be where we are and prove that it wasn't our cute bodies, perky boobs or cute face that got us there," said self-described "pretty geek," Anna Nicole Moose, in response to a request for comment on CNN's Facebook page. "Shame on you Marissa Mayer for playing into stereotypes."
But can't a woman be powerful, strong and beautiful, all at once? That question drew a range of responses from women on various rungs of the corporate ladder, some supportive of Mayer embracing her femininity and others lamenting the undue pressure on female leaders to soften their image.

As reported yesterday, country star Luke Bryan nabs his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with "Crash My Party." The album bows atop the list with nearly 528,000 sold in the week ending Sunday, Aug. 18, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Crash My Party" follows his previous chart-topper, "Spring Break . . . Here to Party," which opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated March 23. The new album logs the third-largest sales week of 2013, surpassed only by the debuts of Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" (968,000) and Jay Z's "Magna Carta . . . Holy Grail" (slightly more than 528,000). "Crash My Party" also claims the largest week for an album by a male country artist since 2004. Tim McGraw was the last male country artist to sell more copies in a week, when his "Live Like You Were Dying" bowed with 766,000 in November 2004. Idris Elba will 'do anything' to be in Inbetweeners sequel.
Star of Luther and The Wire up for cameo in the record-breaking British comedy adapted from the TV show.
Pacific Rim star Idris Elba would "do anything" to be in the the sequel to The Inbetweeners, the astonishingly successful British teen comedy adapted from the Channel 4 TV series, according to one of the film's actors. Speaking to Empire about The Inbetweeners 2, Anthony Head, who played Will's dad in the first movie, said: "I was at a gig with Idris Elba recently and he says he'll do anything in it. He said he'd do a walk-on, so I've got to email them and say: 'Idris Elba wants to be in it.'"
Elba, who won a Golden Globe for his work as Luther in the acclaimed TV series of the same name, is not the first name you would think of for a cameo in The Inbetweeners, but Head thought "it would absolutely work". The Inbetweeers Movie amazed industry analysts when it became the UK's highest-grossing British-made comedy of all time with a £56m worldwide box office take after being released in summer 2011. _________________ Idris Elba to star in adaptation of Beasts of No Nation. In an extremely close race, Robin Thicke tops the Billboard Hot 100 for an 11th week with "Blurred Lines" (featuring T.I. and Pharrell). The song narrowly holds off Katy Perry's "Roar," which blasts 85-2 following its first full week of sales. Lady Gaga's "Applause" adds to the top 10's shakeup, debuting at No. 6, also after its first week of sales.
Ladies And Gentlemen, We Have Added A Great Talent To Our Stellar 2 Leads. My Main Man Brooklyn's Finest, Michael K. Williams Has Joined The Cast Of My Newest Hottest Joint.
Words from Spike Lee, posted to his mystery project's Kickstarter campaign page this afternoon, as he continues to shore-up his cast for his new mystery joint.
Michael K. Williams joins the previously announced Stephen Tyrone Williams (the film's male lead) and Zaraah Abrahams (the film's leading lady).
With less than a day to go until the end of the campaign, Spike has raised over $1.35 million, blowing past the $1.25 million he asked for.
Needless to say, the next Spike Lee joint has been officially greenlit. A film's going to be made; and, I must say, if anything, the acting should be strong, as both Williams men as well as Abrahams have demonstrated talent in previous work.
Also, Raphael Saadiq will compose the film's soundtrack.

The dynamic duo, Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin, recently received a greenlight from HBO to write a half-hour comedy pilot for the premium cable TV network. By the way, they've also written and performed for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
The currently untitled project will star both gentlemen as two young reporters, trying to make it big in Atlanta. And announced this evening, Dorian Missick (Southland) will join them in the comedy pilot, in his first comedic lead.
Missick will play a character named Jay Favors, who's described as a Harvard educated African American man who is exceedingly bright, likable and strategic. He'll also be a rival to his 2 co-stars.
Black lead on an HBO show?! and it isn't by David Simon?! shocking! I really started to like his character towards the end of Southland, glad to see him doing well.
SCHODACK - "The Patridge Family" star David Cassidy was charged with felony driving while intoxicated after his car was stopped early Wednesday, authorities said.
The 70s teen heartthrob allegedly had a .10 percent blood alcohol content when he was arrested by town police Officer Tom Jones, who shares a name with another famed crooner.
District Attorney Richard McNally said that when Jones introduced himself Cassidy said, "What's up, pussy cat?" a play on a song made famous by Tom Jones.
Cassidy, 63, is a regular at Saratoga Race Course and spends parts of the summer in the region. Police said his year-round address is in Fort Lauderdale.
Cassidy was arrested at an overnight DWI check point.
Cassidy was charged with felony DWI because of a prior conviction.

“Blackfish,” the eye-opening documentary about orcas in captivity that slams SeaWorld, has left an impression on everyone from celebrities to creators at Pixar. Riding on this wave of awareness, PETA is hoping to influence the producers of “Anchorman 2″ to cut the SeaWorld scenes from their movie.
“The constant deprivation that marine mammals face at SeaWorld is suited to a horror film, not a comedy,” said PETA’s Director of Captive Animal Law Enforcement Delcianna Winders. “The makers of Finding Dory changed its ending after learning how cruel SeaWorld is, and PETA is calling on the creators of Anchorman to do the same – and leave all SeaWorld scenes on the cutting-room floor, where they belong.”
In the “Anchorman” sequel, the pompous Ron Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell) loses his news anchor job and finds himself working as an announcer at SeaWorld. (Dolphins are shown briefly in the film’s trailer.) The film is scheduled for a December 20th release.
Will the producers for “Anchorman 2″ follow Pixar’s compassionate lead? It will be exciting to watch the continued influence of “Blackfish” on society and pop culture. Who or what will be next?

Simon Pegg has a message for those who say that "Star Trek Into Darkness" is the worst movie ever made of the franchise: "F--- You."
The comedic actor/writer passed along that sentiment during an interview with Mike Ryan of The Huffington Post. Ryan informed Pegg that at a "Star Trek" fan convention in Las Vegas earlier in August, attendees ranked "Into Darkness" as the worst of the "Star Trek" movies, ever. Pegg was surprised, responding, "It absolutely isn't the worst 'Star Trek' movie," Pegg said. "It's asinine, you know? It's ridiculous. And frustrating."
He continued, "To be subject to that level of sort of, like, crass f---ing ire, I just say f--- you."
By most accounts, "Into Darkness" is not even close to the worst "Star Trek" film ever. It currently has an 87 percent "fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The only explanation that Pegg could come up with for those negative feelings lies within a combination of nostalgia and how people occasionally treat an indie band that makes it big. "I think it's like when you tire of an indie band that you love because, suddenly, they get a number one single," Pegg opined. "You don't necessarily start disliking their music, but you stop liking them because you're pissed off that they're famous."
Pegg was promoting his new film, "The World's End," which comes out Aug. 23.
The Grandmaster, the new film from lyrical Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Kar-Wai (In the Mood for Love, Chungking Express) is his greatest financial success to date, grossing $50 million in China, where it was released back in January. But that is not the film appearing in American cinemas this Friday. It has been cut by more than 20 minutes, from its 130-minute Chinese edit to a 108-minute US version.Scenes have been reorganized and deleted; new voice-over narration was recorded. And most egregiously, extensive intertitles and documentary-style character identification captions have been added, often to “clarify” narrative turns and new characters that are already abundantly clear to anyone paying attention to the picture. The result is like trying to read a book while someone is sitting next to you reading aloud from the Cliffs Notes. Who thinks we’re this dumb? ( Collapse )
Twenty-five years after its birth, and five years since we last heard a new Nine Inch Nails album, Trent Reznor's art-rock project is obliterating the festival circuit, collaborating with icons such as David Lynch and Lindsey Buckingham, and still flooding the Internet with new material. But Reznor is surprisingly hesitant to acknowledge NIN's status as an influential force in music.
"I got hints of being influential back in the dark ages of late '90s," Reznor said, humbly, while speaking to SPIN for our upcoming September cover story. "But the bands I would hear it in bummed me out so much that I can't listen for that anymore. I did notice [my influence] post-Social Network. I started hearing a few things that made me think, 'Okay, I bet you've heard our score.'"
When SPIN's David Marchese drew a line from Nine Inch Nails' punishing, bleak aesthetic to one of the biggest releases of 2013 — Kanye West's bleak, punishing Yeezus — the Oscar winner said he was flattered before heaping praise on Mr. West.
"I know [Kanye] a bit," Reznor said. "He's come out to shows and we've had some humorous— I've listened to him talk backstage a few times. I can't say that we had a conversation. I find him an interesting character. Yeezus, I really love it. I think the sound of it is cool. I can't endorse what he's saying lyrically, but I will say that in terms of the role of the dangerous entertainer in 2013, nobody is beating him at that game. It feels like he might implode. Even if it is calculated to some degree, it feels rough on the edges in a way that I can appreciate. I'm glad he's out there. Consistently he's put out ahead-of-the-curve shit. He's definitely a talented guy."
Nine Inch Nails' eighth album, Hesitation Marks, arrives September 3 through Columbia Records. Look for SPIN's September 2013 cover story on NIN next week, and in the meantime, revisit the magazine's 1992 cover story on Reznor, Nine Inches of Love.

Blink-182 have announced plans to release a new album in 2014.
The punk-pop band's bassist Mark Hoppus revealed to Kerrang! that they hope to return to the recording studio early next year.
He said: "We haven't thought about any new songs yet. It always happens when the three of us are together in a room.
"Because when [we're not touring], Tom lives in San Diego, Travis lives in Los Angeles and I live in London, so we don't really talk all that much."
He added: "But then when we get in a room together, it all falls into place and we start making jokes. That's when we start writing songs and reconnecting with everything."
Blink-182 released their previous album Neighborhoods in 2011, with their last output being the Dogs Eating Dogs EP last December.
The group split from their record label Interscope back in 2011.
Physiyoga, nicknamed 'fizzy yoga' by the 'Sex and the City' star, is a mix of physical therapy and yoga. Diana Zotos, Kim Cattrall's New York-based yoga instructor, explains how the practice helps realign the body and prevents injuries.
“Sex and the City” star Kim Cattrall might owe her figure to cardio, but she says physiyoga is the workout that saved her life. A blend of physical therapy and yoga — which the 56-year-old actress nicknamed “fizzy yoga” — the practice is designed to heal and prevent injuries by restoring natural alignment in the body. “When I meet someone for the first time, I do a physical therapy evaluation,” New York-based yogi Diana Zotos, who introduced Cattrall to physiyoga, told the Daily News. “Then we customize a yoga program around that. It targets deficits, will strengthen muscles that are weak and stretch muscles that are tight, while focusing on the core.” ( Collapse )

Kanye West is about to get pounded by a woman -- Gloria Allred.
Allred just said she's repping the photog Kanye attacked at LAX last month and says she's filing a lawsuit against the rapper.
What's complicating things for Kanye -- the L.A. City Attorney is currently mulling over whether to prosecute Kim K's baby daddy for vandalism and battery in connection with the attack. Up to this point the likely outcome was that -- even if a criminal case were filed -- the photog would make a financial settlement and the case would go away.
It's possible Allred will try to score a big payday for the photog and the case would still be dropped, but let's be honest ... this case will be high profile ... which is Allred's sweet spot. Short story -- the chances Kanye will be prosecuted just got way bigger.

Our sources say Young did not leave a suicide note. He had a diary, but we're told it revealed nothing as to why he took his life. The diary consists of multiple, mundane entries.
Our law enforcement sources say authorities also went through Young's personal computer -- it contained nothing revealing.
We do know this. Members of Young's family have told authorities the actor had "depression issues" in the past. We're told they have the names of several doctors who may have treated Young for the problem, and authorities plan to contact the MDs to determine the severity of the depression.
Shania Twain reveals she’s working on new music and on the hunt for a new producer.
In mid-October, Shania Twain is heading back to Las Vegas for another 22-show run at Caesars Palace. During her time off from her Sin City gig, she’s been working hard on new music at her home in Switzerland.
The hard part for the superstar is finding the right producer to help her with the project.
“That’s the big challenge right now at the moment,” Shania told ABC News Radio. “It’s a fun challenge. I mean, it’s overwhelming. There’s a lot of amazing producers out there. I’ve just got to make sure that I find the right one suitable to what I want to do and where I want to go with things.”
While she’s written the new songs by herself, the producer will help in deciding the sound of the new album. “That’s why it’s just so important that I get the right person to make sure that it’s the right mix and the right balance of everything,” she added.
Twain’s show will continue at Caesars Palace during select dates between Oct. 15 through Dec. 14. Tickets are available at ShaniainVegas.com.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has always featured episodes ripped straight from the world's most controversial headlines and it looks like this hot-button tradition will continue in the drama's 15th season.
The NBC procedural is currently filming an episode that looks to be inspired by one of the biggest and most controversial legal stories of the year: the shooting of Trayvon Martin and the trial of George Zimmerman. Based on these photos snapped on the set Tuesday, SVU is taking on the case that both polarized and outraged the nation.
According to the Daily Mail, Cybill Shepard has been tasked to play a vigilante-like character who killed a black teenager named Mehcad. Arrested Development's Jeffrey Tambor is playing her lawyer, and the scene filmed yesterday involved a protest very much like the ones held during Zimmerman's trial in July. Extras can be seen holding signs almost identical to the ones created to mourn Trayvon Martin.
To all Robert Pattinson fans out there who have RPATZ embroidered on their undies: You may want to toss these away. Apparently, Pattinson hates his nickname with a passion.
The "Twilight" star spoke to the German edition of Interview magazine as the new face of Dior's Homme and had some choice words for one particular blogger.
"I'd like to strangle the guy who came up with it!" Pattinson said, reports InTouch. According to the magazine, the actor would only refer to the aforementioned guy as "some fat celebrity blogger."
However, this isn't the first time that Pattinson has expressed his deep disdain for the nickname that won over a million tween hearts.
Back in November 2012, the 27-year-old told "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie: "I don't understand what the nickname culture is ... If I could figure out a way to get rid of that, it'd be amazing. It does sound like an antacid tablet."
She always makes an effort to expertly style her outfits, even when it comes to her day wear. But the same couldn't be said for Lana Del Rey's rumoured fiance Barrie-James O'Neil on Tuesday. The Glaswegian rocker looked rather scruffy as the pair went for a romantic lunch date at famed Nate 'n Al's deli in upscale Beverly Hills.
Blake, 25, wore pale blue jeans and a cream cotton sweater teamed with navy blue shoes as she strolled around the garden accompanied by a brown dog on Wednesday.
While Blake enjoyed a sun soaked stroll, Ryan kept himself busy, sporting gloves to lift several items off a truck including what looked like a large garden umbrella and a hammock. Ready for some heavy lifting duties, Ryan wore beige trousers, a green T-shirt and brown boots.
But he also made time for some relaxation, later taking to a motorbike to zoom around the lawn. ( Collapse )
Blur bassist and author of ‘All Cheeses Great and Small’ reveals the books that inspired his love of food and divulges a taste for royal cuisine
When did books start fuelling your interest in food? ‘Very early on. I read Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” about a hundred times when I was little, and I still go back to it occasionally. Enid Blyton writes brilliantly about food too. All those sunny picnics are pure fantasy.’
What food books do you find yourself returning to? ‘There are two voices really – Jane Grigson and Elizabeth David. They paved the way for absolutely everything foodie that followed. Their books still make me feel hungrier than anyone else’s. Some of them are now out of print and getting quite hard to find, which is a shame, as they are beautifully written and thoroughly researched. They were food-loving writers rather than chefs, but between them they covered a lot of ground.’
Do you use cookbooks? ‘If I want a recipe for something specific, I quite like Googling and reading two or three, then deciding which one I like best – and it’s usually Jamie’s that I turn to. But books are still the best source of information. I’m currently working my way through Claire Kelsey’s ice cream book “Melt” with the kids. They want to try everything in it. It’s getting pretty sticky, though.’
Which recipes do you turn to for dinner? ‘I really love “A Taste of Mey: Recipes and Memories Inspired by the Castle of Mey” – the castle was the Queen Mother’s old schloss in Scotland, and the recipes were some of her favourites. I also think Peyton and Byrne’s “British Baking” is a modern masterpiece. Whenever I read it, I want to start cooking immediately.’
Which do you prefer reading, books about music or food? ‘Music theory is best served cold, really – it’s maths. Food writing needs to be warm.’
Do you find kitchen inspiration in fiction? ‘Loads! I love the way food is written about in Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series – every time Reacher has a cheeseburger or a coffee, I want one. The French renaissance writer François Rabelais was the best describer of food – he depicted the most spectacular feasts in history. And Ian Fleming was a great foodie. He did more for champagne than anyone – apart from Dom Pérignon.’

We all knew that Liam Payne getting a new girlfriend would not go down well with some One Direction fans.
And after Liam took Sophia Smith – who he’s known since his school days in Wolverhampton – to last night’s This Is Us premiere some fans have expressed just how unhappy they about Liam’s new lady friend, taking to Twitter to vent their fury.
Well, Liam has hit back via his Twitter page, and boy is he ever angry! He’s sworn and everything.
“Always sad to get on here to read horrible stuff about someone you care about,” he told fans.
“There is that old saying tho if you ain't got s**t nice to say then f**k you,” he added.
Rob, what´s going on? Robert Pattinson, Twilight-star and face of the new Dior-Homme campaign, explains why he wears suits only once, what he likes to spend money on and why Bernadette is his true love.
Robert Pattinson, looking suave with short hair and in a black designer suit, is kissing model Camille Rowe with so much passion, you´d think there´s something going on between the two of them for real. Maybe this sexy production to introduce him as the new face of Dior Homme is meant as a farewell to his Twilight-love Kristen Stewart: passionate, unconventional, surrounded by half-naked beauties. A clever move from Dior and a change of image for Rob.
From teen-idol to man. During the interview at Beverly Hills Hotel he´s still hung-over from last night´s premiere-party. Dressed in Nike sneakers, Jeans and Acne shirt, with cap and scruff, his electronic cigarette at the ready. But he´s hardly ever been in such a good mood. Does he prefer the single-life to togetherness?
"There´s no good answer to that question" he says. For others, it seems, there are.
Yes, it's true: Christina Hendricks is going to play a stripper in her next movie. We can already hear Internet fanboys and fangirls salivating all across the world at this very prospect. According to Empire Online, the Mad Men star has just joined the cast of the highly anticipated film adaptation of Gillian Flynn's thriller novel Dark Places as a stripper named Krissi Cates.
Hendricks joins an already star-studded cast including Charlize Theron, Chloe Moretz, Corey Stoll, Rescue Me star Andrea Roth, and Nicholas Hoult. If you've never read the novel, the plot goes a little something like this: Theron plays Libby Day, a woman who accused her brother (Stoll) of killing their family when she was a little girl, even testifying in court against him. 25 years later, though, the clues don't seem as crystal-clear as they did back then, and she's forced to "reevaluate" her recollection of the events that transpired when she was younger.
Hendricks' character, Krissi, is described as a "down-on-her-luck" stripper who "has a history of accusing Stoll's character of misdeeds, and is harbouring a secret about what really happened to the Day clan." Very suspicious indeed.
Dark Places is still in early development, so unfortunately it'll be a while before we see it in theaters: The film is currently shooting for a September 2014 release.

GOING TO THE MASSES: The theme of Nicola Formichetti’s first ad campaign as artistic director of Diesel is “reboot,” but it could easily have been “power to the people.”
Instead of focusing on models or actresses with big names, Formichetti relied on Tumblr and word of mouth to cast the subjects of the campaign. The 20 people chosen primarily live in New York, work in artistic fields and clearly aren’t wallflowers, with tattoos, varying body shapes and sizes, colored and shaved hair and androgyny heavily represented. Examples include Michelle Calderon, a 22-year-old pink-haired graffiti artist; Helen Primack, a 15-year-old aqua-haired aspiring filmmaker and student at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in New York, and Benjamin Ackermann, a light-eyed 23-year-old photographer, musician and collage artist. There are a few models in the mix, notably Loulou Robert, Omahyra Mota and Casey Legler, the former Olympic swimmer who broke gender barriers as a woman being contracted as a male model.
“I wanted to find people who reflected the diversity of the creative community today and not just the typical model. I wanted the campaign to showcase a variety of characters, people who are beautiful in their own unique way,” said Formichetti. The ads will break in the September issue of Vogue and will run in additional books in October. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shot them, and Formichetti styled them with Diesel denim and leather.
Returning “favorites” (including, yes, Rupert) — will compete with loved ones (among them, a Big Brother champ) when CBS’ Survivor premieres its 27th edition, Blood Vs. Water, on Sept. 18.

There's really no other way to set this up than to just say it:
What follows is a video made by the group Official Comedy where they spliced a bunch of clips from Breaking Bad and turn it into a cover of R. Kelly's "Ignition (Remix)." It's not a particularly good cover, and it's certainly not an especially original idea. It is, to be clear, an entirely kitschy, superhero-novel kind of thing.
Still, it is unstoppable clickbait, because you either think that Breaking Bad is brilliant (it is) or that R. Kelly is brilliant (he is) or both (ding, ding, ding).
You can't NOT click it. Didn't you watch the final episode the other night? This is infinity infinities.
SOURCE the amount of time things like this would take to make...
