That Grape Juice had the pleasure of catching up with ‘Grand Hustle’ femcee Iggy Azalea recently. In London for her “special guest” slot on Rita Ora’s sell-out ‘Radioactive Tour’, T.I.’s protégé opened up on a number of hot topics.
Candid and cool, the Australian-bred beauty dished on her debut album, its lengthy delay and what she hopes 2013 will bring her brand. Enjoy above!

Her reaction to the "Azealia Banks vs Angel Haze" thing and the response to the Nicki/Kim/Eve question had me rolling lmao.

Is Dr. Phil Taking Advantage of Alabama Kidnapping Victim?

dr. phil 3

So, I used to live in Dothan, AL, a few minutes from Midland City, where Ethan was kidnapped and a lot of my family still lives there. My uncle was one of the first police officers on scene and was there until the end. Anyway, I'm friends with a few of Ethan's family members on Facebook and his aunt had some things to say that I found interesting. I hope this is post worthy!

These are from his aunts Facebook. She has made these posts public on her profile so more people could see them and share. You can check them out here

"I would like to thank everyone for your prayers for Ethan and our family. Thank you to Mr. Poland, a true American hero! I have been praying for his family, that God would ease their pain and give them comfort at this time of sorrow! I have been praying for all of the children that were on the school bus as well! I would especially like to say thank you to the Wiregrass Angel House, the District Attorney's office, and ALL of the law enforcement agencies that have helped us throughout this crisis!

There has been many things said, some true and some false. We have not been able to heal as a family. This is what I do know. Dr. Phil Mcgraw flew into Dothan, Al and had my sister, Ethan's mother, go to Montgomery, Al for an interview. After speaking with Ethan's mother on the phone, she informed me that she and Ethan would be headed to Texas to meet with doctors. With everything that has happened, I feel that my sister is not currently in the right frame of mind to make these types of decisions. I feel that she and Ethan have been taken advantage of. I only wish the very best for Ethan, and I do not think that taking him away from the people who love him most is the best for him.

Please feel free to share this post and continue praying for all of the people involved!"

Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z to tour

After teaming up at the Super Bowl and at the Grammys, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z will launch a 10-city stadium tour together, we hear. Timberlake was joined by Jay-Z at the music awards show Sunday to perform his new track “Suit & Tie” — and we’re told they’ll be dusting off those dapper Tom Ford tuxes for a full-blown tour. JT and wife Jessica Biel even sat at the show with Jay-Z and Beyoncé. The “Sexy Back” singer hinted there will be “big news coming” after the Grammys via Twitter, and he admitted on the red carpet, according to a report, “We’re definitely going to go on tour . . . I don’t know how much I should say . . . It’s going to be a lot of fun, I know that.” JT didn’t reveal who “we” was, but our sources say it’s the “Watch the Throne” rapper.

International Olympic Committee Drops Wrestling from 2020 Olympics

IOC leaders dropped wrestling from the Olympic program on Tuesday, a surprise decision that removes one of the oldest Olympic sports from the 2020 Games.

The IOC executive board decided to retain modern pentathlon — the event considered most at risk — and remove wrestling instead from its list of 25 "core sports."

The IOC board acted after reviewing the 26 sports on the current Olympic program. Eliminating one sport allows the International Olympic Committee to add a new sport to the program later this year.

Wrestling, which combines freestyle and Greco-Roman events, goes back to the inaugural modern Olympics in Athens in 1896.

"This is a process of renewing and renovating the program for the Olympics," IOC spokesman Mark Adams said. "In the view of the executive board, this was the best program for the Olympic Games in 2020. It's not a case of what's wrong with wrestling, it is what's right with the 25 core sports."

Adams said the decision was made by secret ballot over several rounds, with members voting each time on which sport should not be included in the core group. IOC President Jacques Rogge did not vote.

Wrestling was voted out from a final group that also included modern pentathlon, taekwondo and field hockey, officials familiar with the vote told The Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity because the voting details were not made public.

Chelsea Peretti and Andre Braugher Cast in Latest Comedy Pilot by Parks and Rec Creators

Parks and Recreation's Dan Goor and Mike Schur's untitled Fox cop comedy has quickly become one of our most anticipated pilots. After casting Andy Samberg and Terry Crews, the pilot has added veteran Andre Braugher and popular up-and-coming comedian Chelsea Peretti. Braugher, who has experience in serious pretend-cop work on Homicide and Law & Order: SVU, will play the force's serious-minded captain. Peretti, who has worked with Goor and Schur as a writer on Parks, will play the eccentric office manager. The series will air on Fox. Great: Shoot it, order it, and put it before New Girl already.

We hear the broad outlines of the show are that it's an ensemble cop show set in one of New York City's five boroughs. Schur and Goor will write and co-create the potential series, and both would serve as exec producers, according to industry insiders. Universal Television is producing. Before Parks fans freak out, Schur has made it clear in previous interviews that he plans to stay with the show till the end, so his involvement in something else doesn't have anything to do with the fate or future of his current NBC series. And as Shonda Rhimes and Ryan Murphy have shown, showrunners can multitask. Plus, Parks doesn't have a lot of elaborate production numbers or musical montages, so a second show should be a breeze!

No more free passes to famous men who abuse women

Mumford and Sons may have taken home the top award at the Grammys, but that’s not what Twitter was buzzing about Sunday night.

The camera zeroed in on megastar Rihanna, smiling, intertwined with and resting her head on Chris Brown’s shoulder. The snuggle fest began trending on Twitter with comments about how “in love” and “phenomenal” the couple looked together.

How perfect after Rihanna’s interview about their reunion for Rolling Stone’s Valentine’s Day issue.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Forgive me for bringing this up, but have we already forgotten what happened four years ago? Allow me to jog your memory. The night before the 2009 Grammy Awards, Rihanna and Brown were taking a drive. They began to argue. Brown then proceeded to bang Rihanna’s head against the car window, bite and punch her repeatedly and even threatened to kill her.

As I watched Brown on Sunday slide his arm around Rihanna and grin into the camera, I couldn’t help but think of what he tweeted after storming out of his infamous 2011 interview on “Good Morning America”: “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for their bulls**t.”

Well, he’s partially right.

The entertainment industry isn’t exactly known for weeding out or even punishing male celebrities with histories of violence against women.

A New Batman Arkham Game Is Coming in 2013

Well this is just BAT-tastic! A recent Time Warner earnings call has revealed that a new entry in the Batman Arkham series is slated for release at some point in 2013 although little (to nothing) is known about the title at the moment.

As posted over on Yahoo! Finance, Time Warner's CFO and Chief Administrative Officer John K. Martin stated on the company's Q4 2012 earnings call that "We also have a strong game release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise."
Obviously, that's not a lot to go on, but even though we don't know anything about characters, setting, gameplay, or even if Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City (review above) developers Rocksteady are behind the project, the prospect of playing yet another game in the thus far excellent series THIS YEAR is certainly worth going batty over.

'The Hour' is axed by BBC2, everyone cries

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Period drama starring Dominic West, Ben Whishaw and Romola Garai won't be returning to the 1950s newsroom for a third series

The Hour has been axed by BBC2 and will not return for a third series, it's been confirmed.

The period drama, which was set in the 1950s and concerned the genesis of a fictional current affairs programme on BBC Television, was created by Abi Morgan and starred Dominic West, Ben Whishaw and Romola Garai.

It had been the original intention of the production company behind the programme, Kudos, to produce at least three series. Jane Featherstone, chief executive of Kudos Film and Television, said she was "sad and disappointed" by the decision.

The BBC said: "We loved the show but have to make hard choices to bring new shows through."

BULLSHIT, if they can give Stephen Poliakoff all that money for Dancing On The Edge, they can spare some for The Hour. I hope Sky Arts or HBO picks it up, so we find out what happened to Freddie :(

Bryan Singer discusses the future of Alan Cumming's Nightcrawler in the upcoming X-Men: DoFP

Bryan Singer took over "X-Men: Days of Future Past" directing duties in October, and it hasn't taken him long to reassert himself at the top of the franchise. (Singer directed "X-Men" and "X2: X-Men United" back in, respectively, 2000 and 2003; he produced the 2011 hit "X-Men: First Class.")
Over the last few months, original "X-Men" stars like Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin and Ellen Page have been announced as co-stars in "Days of Future Past," which already features "First Class" stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence as youthful versions of the comic book heroes. But what about fan-favorite Nightcrawler, last played by Alan Cumming in "X2"?
On Monday, I spoke with Singer about his new film "Jack the Giant Slayer" (the full interview will publish closer to its March 1 release date) and asked the director specifically about Nightcrawler, a character Cumming is on the record as open to playing again.
Will we ever see Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler again?
I don't know. We'll see. You know ... we'll see.
That sounded coy.
[Laughs] Yeah, I know. I don't want to ... sometimes you don't want to say "yes" or "no" to something that may not be a "yes" or a "no," or anything. I haven't decided yet, a few things. I'm still, you know -- there are certain aspects of the script that I'm still toying with.
As a fan of that character, that at least gives me hope
[Laughs] OK.

Allison Williams Writes Public Letter to Twitter

Guess who hadn't given up yet?

Marie Claire has published an open letter from Williams to the social network.

Here's an excerpt:

"In some ways, dating you would be good for my career. It's gross, but it's true. It's no surprise that a lot of other actors have gone out with you. Especially for newbies like myself, 'number of followers' is essentially currency. You would provide me with a quantifiable estimation of my popularity. That would help with brands, magazines, and movie studios. Even so, I just don't see the results justifying the risk involved."

The rest of the letter is up at the source, Marie Claire's website.

I hate to encourage the living publicity stunt that is Allison Williams, but does she really think Twitter cares? Homegirl really wants to make it big.

NBC's Dracula Casts Thomas Kretschmann as Its Van Helsing – With a Twist

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Thomas Kretschmann (King Kong) has joined NBC’s Dracula as the legendary Abraham Van Helsing — but the character’s not the heroic hunter other vamp dramas have made him out to be.
In the forthcoming period drama, TVLine has learned, Kretschmann’s Van Helsing is a brilliant professor obsessed with revenge and power. He may be a greater threat to the public than the titular count (played by The Tudors‘ Jonathan Rhys Meyers).
British actor Oliver Jackson-Cohen also has been cast as Jonathan Harker, a handsome and tenacious journalist desperate to become an artstocrat.

The 10-episode series, based on Bram Stoker’s novel of the same name, finds Dracula preparing to unleash hell on the Victorian society responsible for ruining his life. But he’s thrown when he falls for a woman who’s a dead ringer for his beloved, long-deceased wife.

Kretschmann’s TV credits include The River, FlashForward and 24. Coincidentally, he played the bloodsucking title role in the 2012 movie Dracula 3D.

Jackson-Cohen plays Roddy on the ITV series Mr. Selfridge; he also appeared in the film Going the Distance and as Prince William (opposite Girls‘ Allison Williams) in Funnyordie.com’s Will & Kate: Before Happily Ever After.

Dracula‘s cast also includes Katie McGrath (Merlin), Nonso Anonzie (Game of Thrones) and Jessica De Gouw (Arrow).

NBC has not yet announced a premiere date.

so ready for Rhys Myers/Kretschmann on a weekly basis.

Warner Bros. wants to give Dorothy a sword and a TV show called Red Brick Road

What if you gave everyone in The Wizard of Oz swords, and instead of the Wicked Witch of the West throwing fireballs she throws decapitated horse heads? Boom, Game of Thrones meets Oz. And that's exactly what Warner Bros. TV wants their next big magical series to be.

THR is reporting that the studio wants to make Red Brick Road "a continuation of the Wizard of Oz story but told in a Game of Thrones fashion, filled with politics, intrigue and violence." Oooh intrigue! The series is created by Rob Prior, who is a well-known concept artist and has actually drawn a few images of this Red Brick Road before (above). And holy shit look at the Tin Man — that is awesome. There's no telling if the series will be based on these drawings, but take solace in the fact that Prior is a gifted character creator, so there could be some cool beasties in our future.

Producers attached to the project include Mark Wolper, Roy Lee and Adrian Askarieh (Wolper and Lee are attached to the A&E Psycho prequel series).

John Goodman on weight, alcoholism and Dancing on the Edge

I know I’m going to love John Goodman. How could you not adore the man who played Roseanne’s blue-collar husband, Dan, in the US sitcom Roseanne for so many years with such humour and heart? Even when he plays crazies, as he often has done in Coen Brothers films such as Raising Arizona, Barton Fink and The Big Lebowski, he does it in a way that makes them weirdly attractive. He has voiced any number of lovable characters in animated movies, from sleepy brown bear Baloo in The Jungle Book 2 to friendly furry monster James P Sulley in Monsters Inc.

Last year he starred in the surprise Oscar smash The Artist as silent movie studio boss Al Zimmer, and now he’s appearing in Stephen Poliakoff’s BBC mini-series Dancing on the Edge. Goodman plays an American entrepreneur called Masterton in a drama about a 1930s black jazz band that becomes entangled with white British aristocrats.

We meet on location at a stately home just outside London where Dancing on the Edge is shooting. Goodman is dressed to the nines, and involved in a scene that demands take after take. He is walking around in ever decreasing circles, muttering to himself. There’s something so watchable about Goodman, whether he’s playing an Ordinary Joe or larger than life.

I meet him a couple of hours later. He’s sitting in his trailer in tracksuit bottoms and socks and looks shockingly different. He’s often had a problem with his weight but, now it’s all hanging out, he looks dangerously obese. His legs are huge and leaden; his belly wobbles like a giant jelly over his thighs. He breathes heavily and sighs plentifully, as if he’s in pain, and the last thing he wants is to be here. He gets up to shake hands, then collapses back onto his sofa.

The Go On actor has welcomed a baby girl with wife Kerri Higuchi, their second child together, Cho's rep confirmed Monday to E! News. They're also parents to a 4-year-old son.

The preternaturally youthful-looking 40-year-old also starred in last fall's Total Recall remake and appeared in American Reunion.

Ke$ha Drinks Own Urine in Documentary

Ke$ha has admitted to drinking her own urine and smelling 'like a hobo'.

Ke$ha says fans will see her drinking her own pee in the forthcoming documentary about her life.

Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life is scheduled to premiere in the US on MTV in April and will give an insight into the eccentric singer's habits.

The 25-year-old says viewers can expect some strange things from the series, which was filmed by her journalist brother Lagan Sebert.

"It's my brother and his weird friend following me around for the past two-and-a-half years. We didn't know what we were doing per se, but it's my little brother and he's my best friend. He's got me wasted at 6am ... He got all the things you would want to see and all the things you wouldn't really want to see - making out with dudes, drinking my own pee, jumping out of a building, jumping out of aeroplanes, swimming with sharks ..." she told BBC Radio 1.

"I was told drinking my own pee was good, I was trying to be healthy ... Somebody tried to take my pee away from me and I said, 'That is mine!' So I snatched it up and took a chug and it was really gross so I don't do it anymore."

NBC's Up All Night to do 1 Multi-Camera Episode (What?!)

Maybe NBC should consider changing the title of "Up All Night" to "WTF."

The sophomore series with continued ratings woes is currently undergoing the unusual transition from a single camera format to a more traditional multi-camera sitcom set-up taped in front of a live audience. The transformation has cost the show both its leading lady Christina Applegate and creator Emily Spivey -- who both bowed out voluntarily -- and now NBC has scaled back the episode order from five multi-camera installments to just one.

Yes, one.

Deadline broke the news and adds that it's still unclear if there will be a replacement for Applegate in the multi-camera episode. "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow has been the rumored frontrunner to join Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph in the revamped series, but there is no deal in place.

With NBC dramatically cutting the order, it sounds like the network is basically treating this as another pilot in contention for next season. Both Arnett and Rudolph are said to be fielding alternate series offers, which sounds like a smart move.

This doesn't make any sense NBC! What a mess. Just kill the show please.

Is Rihanna engaged to Chris Brown?

Four years after their infamous fight on the eve of the 2009 Grammys, Chris Brown and Rihanna are back together and cozier than ever.

Last night marked the couple's return to the spotlight as the two controversial lovebirds snuggled into each other
throughout the show. Between Chris Brown's massive smile and Rihanna resting on his shoulders, the message seems clear: They are here to stay as a couple.

When Rihanna took to the stage to sing her emotionally charged ballad "Stay," it was hard to not be distracted by the diamond ring resting on her left hand.

But is it an engagement ring?

Neither party has confirmed the news, but Rihanna's father says he wouldn't be opposed to Chris Brown and Rihanna getting engaged in the near future.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop is reporting that Rihanna's bling was a piece Niel Lane let the pop star borrow for the big night.

Book Adaptation Mega Post!

DreamWorks' 'Shadow and Bone' Lands Writer

Harry Potter producer David Heyman is producing as is Jeffrey Clifford (Up in the Air).
The first book of the intended trilogy takes place in a land under attack by a swath of darkness filled with creatures that feast on human flesh. A young woman discovers she has a dormant power that could be a key to turning the tide and is taken to be trained by her country’s magical elite.

The book was published in June 2012 from Henry Holt Books for Young Readers, with DreamWorks picking up the rights in September.

Oh shit, guys. It's happening. It's happening, and it's unfolding — exactly like, deep down, we all suspected it would — during your regularly scheduled pancake infomercials. Only it isn't. Apparently KRTV was hacked.

The station has since released the following statement on the incident:

"Someone apparently hacked into the Emergency Alert System and announced on KRTV and the CW that "dead bodies are rising from their graves" in several Montana counties. This message did not originate from KRTV, and there is no emergency. Our engineers are investigating to determine what happened and if it affected other media outlets."

The Great Falls Tribune reports that at least four people placed calls to local police to see if the zombie apocalypse was, in fact, upon us. Which is just excellent.

Bob's Burgers Creates New Segment "Bob's Buskers": St. Vincent Covers "Bad Tina"

Through its three seasons, Bob's Burgers has had a lot of fun coming up with silly little ditties. Phase two of these tunes' histories is what the show is calling "Bob's Buskers." The series will feature prominent artists like Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields covering Bob's Burgers' songs. In turn, one of the show's animators then uses their version to make videos of the artists busking in front of the Bob's Burgers storefront.

First up is St. Vincent covering a song from the season two episode "Bad Tina," in which Tina starts hanging out with bad girl Tammy. They seem to get a few bucks at the end, which was probably because of Tina's impassioned mop-playing.

Can't wait to see who else they bring on. Eager for Linda's various songs tbh.

Mila Kunis on Showing ‘Side Boob’ or ‘A**’ On Screen: ‘You Don’t Get Both’

If you were expecting Mila Kunis to really open up about her relationship with Ashton Kutcher in her new Allure interview, well, adjust your expectations.

When shown a picture of her 35-year-old beau and another of pal Natalie Portman to comment on during the interview, the “Black Swan” star was apparently none too pleased. And, according to the writer, reacted with a “500” on an anger scale of one to 10.

"I didn't think this was going to be about my friends. Happily about myself! Not about who my friends are, who I'm dating, or who I may have ever dated. That’s not talking about myself!” Kunis exclaimed.

While she may not have wanted to talk about her current relationship, she seemed happy to reminisce about her single days.

“For four years I was single. An amazing time. An amazing time,” she gushed. “I love being single.”

Meet The Cast Of Bravo's Newest Atlanta Reality Show--"Married To Medicine"

It may look like the original make up (with the token non-black woman) of "Real Housewives of Atlanta"...but they're not calling themselves Wives of anything.  Even though at least half of them are.

Check out the newest batch of wives bringing the drama on Bravo's "Married To Medicine"....

The show was first announced a while back, and now it's here.  Women who are doctors themselves, or married to one, will be putting their lives and contrived drama on display for the Bravo cameras.

According to THR, The docu-series "takes viewers inside the fast-paced and drama-filled social scene of Atlanta's exclusive medical inner circle." Alrighty then.

The show airs Sunday, March 24th at 9p on Bravo.

Adele denies Chris Brown Grammys fight: 'We complimented each other'

Adele has cleared up rumors of a Grammy Awards fight between herself and Chris Brown. The 'Skyfall' singer said on her Twitter account that the two were actually exchanging compliments during the February 10 event.
Although Adele looked to be shouting at Brown in a photograph taken at the ceremony, she wrote: "Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!"
chris brown adele tweet
The singer's explanation comes after speculation of a fight between the two artists based on the photograph.
Talk of a dispute between the pair began when it was noted that Brown did not stand in honor of Frank Ocean's Grammy win for 'Best Urban Contemporary Album', and Adele was seen on camera glancing in his direction. Brown and Ocean were reportedly involved in an altercation at a Los Angeles recording studio last month, and an investigation into the incident recently closed with neither party pressing charges against the other. As for now, it appears that Brown and Adele - who took home the Grammy for 'Best Pop Solo Performance' on Sunday - are in good standing with one another.

How Amy Poehler Saved Leslie Knope

It's no secret that "Parks and Recreation" had some growing pains -- even the stars and co-creators recognize that fact. At the start of the NBC comedy, Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler, was a very different character than she is now in the show's fifth season.

"We had originally written her character as kind of deluded, but [Amy’s] very aware, very hip," "Parks and Rec" co-creator Greg Daniels told The New York Post. "By Season 2, the character had a lot more of her personality in it."
