Britney Spears will NOT be a judge on "X Factor" next season -- and it's entirely her doing ... TMZ has learned.
We have unimpeachable sources who tell us Britney loves the show but wants to focus on her music ... which she is doing right now. Britney is in the studio recording her 8th album, with some help from Will.i.am and producer Hit-Boy, the brains behind Kanye and Jay-Z's N***s in Paris."
One of our sources tells us ... "Britney loves Simon, she likes Demi Lovato but her thing is music."
We're told after she completes the album, Britney is seriously considering going on tour again.
Walking away from $15 mil ...Yeah, she's that rich.

Eva Longoria, Chita Rivera and other leading Hispanic entertainers will headline a presidential inauguration event aimed at celebrating Latino arts and culture.
The "Desperate Housewives" star will host the evening at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, January 20, the day before President Obama officially begins his second term as president. More than a dozen entertainers and groups, from José Feliciano and Llewellyn Sanchez-Werner to Ballet Hispanico and the Pan American Symphony Orchestra, will perform.
"Latinos played a critical role in this year's elections and helped tip the scales in President Obama's victory. But we are not waiting another four years to make an impact on our country's future, and Latino Inaugural 2013 will set a path for Latino civic engagement in the near term," Longoria said in a statement. "What better way to establish our presence at these inaugural celebrations than by showcasing the beauty and diversity of our culture at the nation's premier performing arts center."
The event will be the culmination of a three-day series of lectures and culture gatherings aimed at bringing together Latinos from diverse backgrounds to "develop an agenda that betters the community and strengthens the country as a whole," according to a news release.
The Kennedy Center, which awards the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor, has recieved ctis recently for the lack of diversity of the honorees. Only one U.S.-born Latino, Chita Rivera, has ever received the award out of a pool of 180 winners. The Center has set up an advisory panel to look into the way winners are chosen.
While some, such as National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts chairman Felix Sanchez, argue that the Kennedy Center has overlooked Latinos, the Kennedy Center has previously hosted the Hispanic Heritage Awards. That award was developed by the White House in the late 1980s to commemorate the creation of Hispanic Heritage Month. The awards honor Latino leaders from a variety of fields, from entertainment to medicine.
Organizers of this inauguration event tout it as a way to showcase the contributions of Latinos on a national stage."As we inaugurate President Barack Obama, it is important to recall what President John F. Kennedy knew: that beyond the battles of politics 'we will be remembered for our contributions to the human spirit.' Latinos are now deservedly taking their place at center stage of U.S. culture," Latino activist and designer Henry R. Muñoz III, who will serve as an executive producer of the event, said in a statement. "We invite every American to join us on the evening of January 20, either in person or by live stream
She seems like such a great person and she was on point during the election. Lets Discuss my fellow ONTD Latinos and anyone else who wants to join!
Bryan Fuller's 'Mockingbird Lane' goes from presumptively dead to officially dead
It's hard to imagine that many people had invested much hope in the fate of Bryan Fuller's "Mockingbird Lane" pilot, nearly two months after its one-off airing on NBC. But just in case you still were holding your breath in anticipation...
The "Pushing Daisies" creator tweeted on Thursday (December 27) afternoon that the "Munsters" reboot has transitioned from "presumptively dead" to "formally dead."
"I tweet with a heavy heart," Fuller told his Twitter followers. "NBC not moving forward with #MockingbirdLane. From producers and cast, thank you all for enthusiasm and support." ( Collapse )

He's not yet a household name, but Utkarsh Ambudkar is starting to get recognized: the 29-year-old actor-musician was one of Pitch Perfect's breakout stars. Next up he's playing Mindy's rapper brother on The Mindy Project — the role, he explains, he was born to play. I spoke to Ambudkar about the Pitch Perfect experience, his music, and the struggles of being a South Asian actor in Hollywood.
LP: 2012 was obviously a big year for you. What was life like before Pitch Perfect?
UA: So, I moved to New York — I attended NYU, did a BFA in Acting at NYU. I was really into hip-hop, so I started battling, like 8 Mile. I used to rap battle. So I decided I’m gonna be a rapper, I’m not gonna act, fuck acting, this is stupid. But I enrolled in a class where I was meeting agents every week.
[I got signed] and I booked my first Broadway show, which was a hip-hop play — it was a comedy. And I thought to myself, this is it. I got it. I’m getting paid $700 a week from nowhere. I’m big time. You know, I was just waiting in a Korean restaurant two months before this, so I must be doing something right.
Then I started VJ-ing for MTV Desi, which was an Indian-South Asian DIRECTV-only channel. So I’d go and I’d talk to these incredibly famous Indian performers and just shoot the shit with them basically. In the same time, I was doing off-Broadway plays and I booked a commercial. This was when I got a Radio Shack commercial, and I was like, I made it, dawg. And then I was also in a hip-hop group because I was pursuing music, and that group was called the Beatards.
So it’s an ongoing story. At no point in this story is there one big moment that makes it happen. It just so happened that my agent called and said, “There’s this movie Pitch Perfect. Here are the sides.” I think I originally read for Bumper, because Donald didn’t have much in the script, so I read all Bumper’s lines. I beatboxed for them, because that’s what my character was supposed to do. And then I was like, “By the way, I rap.”

As we've told you twice before, fan-fic writers don't let little things like "sanity" get in the way of their favorite characters meeting and then immediately boning. And unlike the rest of us, they don't take a Christmas vacation. So without further ado, let's see the genital-shriveling ways they celebrate the holidays.

The cause was complications of lung cancer, said his daughter, Susanna Yurick.
Before “The Warriors” was published, Mr. Yurick had worked for many years as an investigator for the New York City Department of Welfare. He had grown up poor in the Bronx, the son of Communist activists who struggled to survive the Depression but believed their politics would ultimately rule the world. The people he served at the welfare department struck him as very different. They, too, were impoverished, but they seemed not to believe that they could change things through politics.
“Some of the children of these families were what was then called juvenile delinquents,” Mr. Yurick wrote in an introduction to a 2003 edition of “The Warriors.” “Many of them belonged to fighting gangs. Some of these gangs numbered in the hundreds; they were veritable armies. This social phenomenon was viewed, on the one hand, as the invasion of the barbarians, only this time they came from the inside rather than from the outside.”

This is a good thing, though. Based on the preview of next week's New York and Chicago audition episodes shown in 11 theaters around the country Wednesday night, every time either of them gets out of hand, a producer will cut to the the other, looking witheringly dismissive. Bottom line: Nobody's going to be able to get away with the kind of prattle we've seen in past seasons.
Even better: All three of the new judges -- Minaj, Carey and Keith Urban -- are more expressive than the ones they're replacing. Minaj can say as much just by widening her eyes as Simon Cowell could with any of his well-rehearsed barbs. She's also smart, in a way reminiscent of -- believe it or not -- Dolly Parton. You can just imagine Minaj saying something like, "It costs a lot of money to look this cheap." But, like Parton, she hides a savvy business mind underneath the Barbie-doll makeup and anime-cosplay hair color.

Late last night, rumors swirled that a new Justin Timberlake record produced by Timbaland and featuring Jay-Z was slated to drop today.
Rumors no more, sources have confirmed that not only is that song going to drop, but an entire new album from Timberlake will be dropping this year. According to Billboard, the album will be produced entirely by longtime collaborator, Timbaland.
Timberlake's last album, FutureS-x/LoveSounds came out in 2006 and is certified four-times platinum, marking domestic sales of over four million units. According to reports, Timberlake has been very quietly and meticulously creating a new album without warning anyone. The project is said to have 20 songs on it.
He's been rumored to be working with artists such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Drake and more in the past, but it now looks like that effort should come to fruition before the year is up. The artist had focused a lot of his energy on acting as a frequent guest on Saturday Night Live as well as movies like The Social Network and the upcoming Inside Llewyn Davis. He has also had an integral part in the resurrection of the MySpace platform.
The new single featuring Hova is rumored to hit the nets today at noon.

Following this morning’s 85th annual Academy Awards announcement, the first commercial for the Oscars ceremony was unveiled.
In it, host Seth MacFarlane quips that he’s actually not Seth MacFarlane. “I’m Daniel Day-Lewis. I’m just that good.” It’s a reference to Day-Lewis’ role, and nominations, as Lincoln.
The quick, 20-second promo is presumably the first of many amusing commercials from MacFarlane, who is a relative unknown to most average entertainment consumers. Those who tune into the Oscars next month will largely be confused as to who MacFarlane is at first. His face is never seen on screens because he’s only been involved in animated work like his creations Family Guy and the 2012 film Ted.
We expect his opening monologue during the Academy Awards will try to reach out to the people who don’t know him. During today’s nominations event, MacFarlane read the nominees alongside Emma Stone. The pair had playful banter and took a few good swings at Hollywood and celebrities who suck up to their superiors.
The Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC Sunday, February 24.
Of all the queens who have competed on RuPaul’s Drag Race, few have had as meteoric a rise as Carmen Carrera. The season three fan favorite has gone on to appear in fashion bible W, done work for Loreal and even appeared on the ABC news program Primetime: What Would You Do? since leaving the show. Most notable, however, is that Carmen has transition from a gay male into a heterosexual female.
So it was with much joy and happiness that fans of Carmen learned about her domestic partnership with Adrian Torres, who she met in 2009. The two could frequently be seen at Carmen’s events, and Adrian was there when Carmen made her now infamous appearance on TLC’s Cake Boss earlier this year. They seemed like the perfect couple.

With the NFL and college football winding down I’ve seen a lot of talk about Most Valuable Players, Comeback Players of the year and so on as I wondered to myself “What if Hollywood did this for their actors and actresses?”. Not just some kind of award ceremony like the Oscars which is driven by politics, but an awards ceremony that followed actual sports awards? What would it look like? Welp my curiosity has led me to tackle some of their biggest recognitions and attempt to apply them to celebrities this year in Hollywood. So without further adieu here are the 2012 winners as judged by sports criteria:
Fifty Shades of Grey and Gabriel’s Inferno set the stage, and now WALLBANGER by Alice Clayton has surpassed both books with the most successful release of a former Twilight fanfiction ever. The title reached #2 on Amazon’s Top 100 Kindle Bestsellers list, and has sold over 100,000 copies since the November 27 release.
Alice Clayton is the author of The Unidentified Redhead and The Redhead Revealed, also with Omnific. Sales of WALLBANGER brought REDHEAD into the Top 100 Kindle Bestsellers as well. Readers are delighting in Clayton’s funny, sexy writing style.
Alice has recently partnered with actor Greg Grunberg, blogger Brittany Gibbons, and actress Keili Lefkovitz for a new show, “Have Boobs, Will Travel” that begins shooting in LA in January 2013. Her career is set to blossom as she takes advantage of the new opportunities opening up as a result of the success of her writing career.

Lindsay Lohan moves through the Chateau Marmont as if she owns the place, but in a debtor-prison kind of way. She’ll soon owe the hotel $46,000. Heads turn subtly as she slinks toward a table to meet a young producer and an old director. The actress’s mother, Dina Lohan, sits at the next table. Mom sweeps blond hair behind her ear and tries to eavesdrop. A few tables away, a distinguished-looking middle-aged man patiently waits for the actress. He has a stack of presents for her.
Lohan sits down, smiles and skips the small talk.
“Hi, how are you? I won’t play Cynthia. I want to play Tara, the lead.” Braxton Pope and Paul Schrader nod happily. They’d been tipped off by her agent that this was how it was going to go. They tell her that sounds like a great idea.
Schrader thinks she’s perfect for the role. Not everyone agrees. Schrader wrote “Raging Bull” and “Taxi Driver” and has directed 17 films. Still, some fear Lohan will end him. There have been house arrests, car crashes and ingested white powders. His own daughter begs him not to use her. A casting-director friend stops their conversation whenever he mentions her name. And then there’s the film’s explicit subject matter. Full nudity and lots of sex. Definitely NC-17. His wife, the actress Mary Beth Hurt, didn’t even finish the script, dismissing it as pornography after 50 pages. She couldn’t understand why he wanted it so badly.

Lady Gaga's style has been branded 'massively way over the top' by Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone.
The former artistic director has slammed the pop star for not emulating his sister's dress sense more.
Christopher designed the stages for some of the legendary performer's most memorable tours including Blonde Ambition and Girlie Show.
Rather than criticise Gaga for her 'borrowing' of Madonna's key looks in the past, Christopher has declared she has made a mistake in not following her example more carefully.
'What I would do with Gaga is stream it all down and get rid of all the c**p and make her a real person. It's cool on some level, but when you start out massively way over the top, there is nowhere to go,' Christopher told the Huffington Post. 'You get stuck there and you disconnect from the audience. You become this freak on the stage.'
Madonna’s outspoken sibling went on to explain why he thinks his sister has been so spot on with her image evolution. He declared that her trick is to present an aspirational yet attainable image to the public.
'You have to remember what really made Madonna really popular is that girls could dress like her. You can’t dress like Gaga, only on Halloween perhaps. It's a really big part of being a performer - getting your fans to follow you,' Christopher continued. 'You have to evolve. At one point with Madonna, it was time for the tights to go.'
Christopher has now turned his hand from designing tours to designing shoes. Never the less, the controversial fashion critic revealed there is one celebrity’s wardrobe he is desperate to get his hands on.
'I would love to overhaul Kelly Clarkson. I would certainly give her a style. She needs something,' Christopher admitted. 'The girl's got an amazing voice; it's just the girl comes onstage dowdy and there is no particular look to her. She could do so much better. I don't know if she doesn't care and that’s fine, I just feel there is so much more.'

Justin Bieber beat the crap out of one of his Israeli bodyguards ... and berated the former soldier after a disagreement ... this according to a new lawsuit.
Biebs -- who's 5'7" and MAYBE 130 lbs -- is being sued by Moshe Benabou, an ex-member of the Israeli army.
According to Benabou -- who claims he worked for the singer from March 2011 to Oct. 2012 -- JB berated him and punched him in the chest multiple times during a disagreement about how to handle a member of Bieber's entourage.
Benabou is seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery -- and more than $420,000 in unpaid overtime.
But sources in Bieber's camp tell TMZ ... Moshe is nothing more than a "disgruntled employee looking for money." They say the claim that Bieber struck him is "absurd."
As for why Moshe was fired, our sources say he told multiple lies including a big one -- that he had worked closely with Justin Timberlake before being hired by Bieber.
Our sources say it was discovered that he never worked for JT a day in his life.
You may recall, Benabou was the guy who got into a physical confrontation with a photog at LAX back in February. After a brief struggle, both men fell to the ground ... and Benabou landed a pretty solid punch while the pap was being restrained by another person.
Nonetheless, sources say Justin and company think Moshe is a "good guy" and would like to have a good relationship with him.

In 2009, Sean Lennon took his first crack at film scoring with director and friend Jordan Galland's outrageous Hamlet adaptation, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead. Last year, the son of John and Yoko reunited with the filmmaker: Lennon penned the score for Galland's alternative comedy Alter Egos. The film was released in select theaters last fall, but its soundtrack – which veers from ominous and foreboding to slinky and suave – can now be heard for the first time exclusively at Rolling Stone.
The film, which stars Kris Lemche and Danny Masterson as down-on-their-luck superheroes, was an all-encompassing endeavor to score, Lennon explains to Rolling Stone. "It really sort of engages my whole mind," he says of the process. "I have to really be on the edge of my abilities, in terms of arrangement and composition."
The 37-year-old has been occupied lately with avant-garde musical endeavors, including the Ghost of a Saber-Tooth Tiger, his project with girlfriend Charlotte Kemp-Muhl, and Mystical Weapons, his newer improvisational duo with Deerhoof's Greg Saunier. The structure of scoring, Lennon explains, was a much-enjoyed exercise by comparison. "It's a relief to have such specific guiderails," he says. "You're watching a scene and there's an edit that you have to fit the beats to, and everything sort of has a predefined infrastructure that you have to tailor [the music] to. So it's almost like the road is already laid out for you."
Lennon, who logs a cameo in Alter Egos as the skeleton-masked Electric Death, says he hopes film scoring will become more than a one-off pursuit. "I always imagined that if I was unable to jump around and play rock shows that I'd be able to maybe score films with some dignity into my older years. It would be something nice to do," he says. "But I also know that it's a very competitive field, so I don't really know what kind of jobs I'd be offered. . . I just imagined that if I did Rosencrantz and Alter Egos that maybe people could see that I was able to score, so that's sort of a nice first step."Source
Ziona is to Rebecca Black as Kristen Stewart is to Glenn Close.
We made fun of Rebecca Black’s Friday when it came out, but at least that was a harmless and relatively innocent piece of bubblegum pop trash. This is just trash Ziona, or zinonabinona as she’s known mostly on Youtube, is a girl who has tried to get known by doing make-up videos. Now she’s trying to break through into the world of YouTube Internet stardom. I’m not sure if we should thank for for the great fodder or if we should find whoever told her she was talented enough to make a music video and beat them senseless.
This video just left me feeling… icky. Ziona is so out of tune that her voice has to be modified to a point where it is hard to understand the lyrics. In fact, the only line I was really able to hear clearly was the hook… and I really wish that I hadn’t been able to hear it:
“‘Imma show you I can get what’s in your pants excited. You don’t have to fight it see you there, you’re invited.”
The singing is so bad that she is even out of tune when she harmonizes with herself.
You sort of just have to see this to believe it.
There are a few axioms for staying sane in Hollywood and on the Internet. Rule number one: don't read the comments. Rule number two: don't engage the haters.
The cast and crew of HBO's Girls have brazenly rejected this advice.
"I read the comments, and I read all of them, on blogs and stuff. I read everything. Sometimes I want to respond but I've yet to do it," Jemima Kirke, who plays Jessa on the show, told BuzzFeed Shift at Wednesday's Season 2 premiere in New York. "Sometimes I'll go to bed and I'm like, why did he say that about me? I'm a nice girl!"
In particular, she added: "The gay sites — they're really bitchy. They're the ones that sting the most. They have a way with words."
Haters of Girls and its creator and star, Lena Dunham, are a varied breed. Critics, bloggers, and people who just happen to have Twitter accounts have complained about every aspect of the show: sex, nudity, socioeconomics, racial diversity — you name it.
"A lot of them are insane," said Alex Karpovsky, who plays Ray, about some of the various digs at the show.
But Jenni Konner, Girls' executive producer, said she enjoys the haters — mostly. "I think anyone who criticizes Lena for showing her body is like the saddest person and I pity them," she said. "But aside from those ones, I like the haters. It means people are watching. It's engaging."
And the naysayers exist beyond the comments section — Peter Scolari, who played Dunham's father on the first season — has dealt with them in real life. "A blogger came up to me on the street and started criticizing the show. She was complaining about ageism and gratuitous sexual energies," he said. "And I said to her, 'I have no desire to change your opinion. But it seems like you actually enjoy the show.'"
Questlove, the drummer for The Roots, who became friendly with Dunham after she appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, also revealed himself as a reader of stinging Girls criticism. "Was Gawker invited to this? I'm just curious," he asked, scanning the line of reporters on the red carpet. "No one in the blogosphere has snarked Girls better than they have. It's ... interesting reading."
Will downing George Clooney’s just-released Casamigos tequila make you sexier?
Si, according to this first ad for the drink, filmed at one of Clooney’s homes — which finds the actor and his business partner Rande Gerber swapping significant others (Clooney’s girlfriend, Stacy Keibler and Gerber’s wife, Cindy Crawford) after some responsible, Casamigos-fueled partying. And opposite-sex couples aren’t the only ones that end up in bed together. This is definitely a step up from Cindy’s Raymour & Flanigan ads.
With just about every post on this site announcing the production of a movie centered around stories of slavery in the United States, the inevitable question asked by readers, comes in the form of something like: what's the deal with all these slave-themed movies?
Indeed... what's the deal?
To summarize a recent post in which I gave one potential answer to that quesiton - Hollywood seems to be in a *celebratory* mood, if we can call it that, honoring the 150 year anniversary of the Civil War, and those 4 years that would eventually lead to making slavery illegal in this country - USA. Although I should note that not every project is set in slavery-era USA.
For the longer explanation, feel free to read that post HERE.
Otherwise, let's move on.
If you're already exhausted by what we can call "slave movie fever," with films like Case départ, Django and Lincoln especially behind us (although conversation about those films continues - especially the last 2), you should know that there are several more on the way, scheduled to be released throughout 2013; and I thought I'd take a look at some of them (those that we're currently aware of anyway), and hopefully get your prepped and ready for the wave that's to come.
Without further ado, let me just dive right in. As previously noted, not every project is set in slavery-era USA, and there are a few that aren't Hollywood productions - some are indies; others are *foreign*.

The category for Best Original Song is always a bit of a mess. The songs are rarely judged on how they sound; the importance is, of course, how the song fits into the film for which it was written. This year's nominees are representative of the usual fare. There's the popular choice (Adele's "Skyfall," which will likely win, as it should), the new song for the big-budget musical adaptation (the unnecessary "Suddenly" from Les Misérables), and then there are the forgettable tunes (I didn't even know what Chasing Ice was before today, much less the song from it). It's a shame, really, because there were plenty of good tracks included in the list of 75 eligible songs.

Charlie Sheen is covering a huge chunk of the funeral costs for the paparazzo who died while covering Justin Bieber ... cutting a $12,000 check to the photog's family ... TMZ has learned.
We broke the story ... 29-year-old Chris Guerra died after being struck by a car in Los Angeles on New Year's Day while taking pictures of Bieber's car. We're told Guerra will be laid to rest in a private service set for tomorrow
Turns out, Charlie is tight with a former photog who was friends with Guerra ... and got word that the family was trying to raise money to cover the costs. So Charlie, being Charlie, sprung into action and grabbed his checkbook.
We contacted Sheen about the situation, and the actor gave us the following statement: "A tragic incident like this erases the line between the photographer and the subject. It's an unforgiving moment that begs us all to be human and work as one to prevent this in the future."
He continues, "As parents, we are all not supposed to bury our children. My deepest condolences to the families involved."
Our sources tell us that Tom Brooke, first reported to be cast last August, will be playing the role of Lothar Frey. Brooke is a regular in British film and television, appearing in Pirate Radio, Restless, Mrs. Biggs, Thorne: Scaredy Cat, and the Henry V episode of The Hollow Crown. Lothar, nicknamed “Lame Lothar” because of his twisted leg, plays a key role in Robb and Catelyn’s story in A Storm of Swords.
We have also learned from a source that Torchwood star Burn Gorman will portray a member of the Night’s Watch as originally speculated. The character name is still unknown at this time. Given his filming last fall with certain actors, it’s likely he’ll be part of the group traveling with Samwell and Lord Commander Mormont.
And finally, we have confirmed via her CV that actress Stephanie Blacker will be playing the role of “Violet.” This creates more questions, as the only character named Violet in the book is an older woman in Catelyn’s memories of her childhood at Riverrun. Is this Violet connected to Riverrun or did the show simply borrow the name for an entirely different character? Blacker is credited for an episode directed by Michelle MacLaren, who directs episodes 7 and 8.
Ours is the Fury: It’s great to see House Frey filling out, with Brooke on board. What do you think of this “Violet” business?
HBO has added a new Game of Thrones video, entitled “Season 3 Invitation to the Set”, to their On Demand schedule. It is set to hit HBO On Demand on January 21st. That means that it should air on HBO itself the night before, January 20th. Its runtime is listed at 2 minutes and given the name of the video will likely include the usual behind-the-scenes stuff, but probably not any finished footage.
We’ll have to wait for the first real trailer to debut to see any footage from season three. So far, there has been no official word of a trailer release.
Winter Is Coming: Despite this video debuting a week from Sunday, I am still expecting a trailer to air this Sunday, prior to the Girls premiere. Reason being, they’ve always aired a trailer in January and this is their only big premiere night between now and March 31st.
Gwyneth Paltrow has said that she is refusing to go on a New Year diet, but is instead revamping her eating habits in 2013.
The actress explained in her January 10 GOOP newsletter that she enjoys Italian-style cuisine too much to limit herself.
She said: "I am not on a detox. I am not on a diet. I know, New Year's cleansing and all that. Not this year. Can't do it. Maybe later in the year. Maybe in the spring.
"So for now, I would like to continue with my pasta and cheese, but perhaps be more mindful of ingredients."
The mother of two, who is married to Coldplay musician Chris Martin, will soon release her second cookbook.
She interviewed her friend Dr Frank Lipman to list a group of superfoods she can incorporate into her daily diet.
Paltrow explained: "If you are going to eat pasta, why not serve it with a walnut pesto (walnuts are on his list)? You get my point We had great fun in the GOOP test kitchen coming up with these ways to incorporate these miraculous foods into very tasty recipes."
Inside their relationship struggles.
After seeing how haters tore apart Liam and Danielle, Zayn and Perrie are determined to stay strong after facing their own battles- not everyone has supported them since they got together. In a new interview Zayn explains, " I don't understand why some people want to break us up, but I guess there's a jealousy because I have a GF now while I was a bit of a 'bad boy' before."
Although it can be tough battling rumors, Zayn and Perrie have learned how to survive in the spotlight. "We had an understanding from the start. I told her, "This is my job, this is what's going to happen, stories will come out. Do you still want to be with me?' That was established and after it was about me and her," he says. "Perrie's very chilled out, like me. We understand the job we're in- our jobs are full-on every single hour of the day. Perrie gets that because she has to do the same thing. It can be difficult to keep a relationship on the road but that depends on the people."
Because she's in a band too, she understands Zayn's crazy life. Plus it helped they were buds first. "I was literally texting her as a mate and she was asking me for advice 'cause they're doing the same thing that we were doing a year or so ago," Zayn says.
"And it started off like that, and obviously she's a very attractive girl!" Because they were friends, Zayn and Perrie developed a solid foundation. "Perrie has a lot of trust in me and I in her. That's why it works," Zayn smiles.

Joss Whedon’s S.H.I.E.L.D. may only be a pilot at this stage, but ABC entertainment president Paul Lee sounds confident he’ll give the heavily buzzed-about project a series order.
Critics pelted Paul Lee with questions about the network’s upcoming Avengers-related project at the network’s press tour day in Pasadena, and the executive gave up a few tidbits. Lee described the Whedon series as “not exactly about The Avengers but is attached to it” and promised “I can tell you it’s a great story.”
“It’s just very Joss,” Lee said. “You know how Joss is so high-low? And he’s able to be intense and epic and suddenly funny and silly? He’s just got that ability to be super entertaining and sort of super educated.”

Jaimie Alexander is a big comic book fan. She not only gets to play Lady Sif in the "Thor" movies, but she also has her sights set on one day playing Marvel mutant X-23. ("I'm too old to play X-23. I've been told 100 times," she tells MTV News with a laugh. It's okay! I get it!") But one character she doesn't expect to ever play is Wonder Woman — not because of a lack of interest, but because she wants to see the character treated with the respect she deserves.
"I used to be [interested], but then I've seen how many failed attempts there have been in making it," Alexander told us about her "Wonder Woman" aspirations during the "Last Stand" junket. "It's embarrassing for me as a woman, seeing what they did with that TV show."
Alexander has no ill will towards Adrianne Palicki, the "Friday Night Lights" alum who played Wonder Woman in David Kelly's failed pilot. But she has a lot of ill will towards that vision of the character.
"Let's talk about this for a second. You have very few female superheroes dominating films these days, unless they're in a skin tight outfit and their boobs are pushed up to their chin. It's not okay," she said. "All she does is sit and eat ice cream while she's crying over a boy. I know that never aired, but that's what the script said."
Instead, Alexander thinks "Wonder Woman" needs to be treated the same as one of Hollywood's most lucrative spy franchises — the "Bourne" series.
"There needs to be a positive role model. If you're going to make 'Wonder Woman,' make it like 'The Bourne Supremacy,'" she said. "Let's do something awesome like that. Like 'Alias.' That was a fantastic show. Why can't we do that? Why does she have to be in hot pants and spandex? I get it, it's visually stunning for half of the people, but at least make her grow a pair!"

Wank it out bitches !!!
While I wish you had reached out to me personally, as the head of the Born This Way foundation with my mother Cynthia we would like to respond. Everyday, through my music and public voice I choose to be positive and work towards a kinder and braver world with our community of followers. I encourage them to ignore criticism, stand up to bullies, know their own value and see that we are all the same and no one person is worth more than another. I know I’m perceived as a wild child, but in reality I am woman that deeply cares for humanity. I have empathy for you Kelly, but I feel it culturally important to note that you have chosen a less compassionate path. Your work on E! with the Fashion Police is rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people's beauty against one another. “Appearance” is the most used reason for bullying in the world. Your show breeds negativity, and over the years has even become comedic in nature. It glorifies you and Joan Rivers pointing in the camera, laughing, and making jokes about artists and celebrities as if we are zoo animals.
What about your body revolution? It used to make me truly sad when I would hear people talk about your weight when you were younger, as I was bullied too. To see you blossoming into a beautiful slender woman who makes fun of others for a living is astounding. Why not help others? Why not defend others who are bullied for their image and share your story?
I am pointing this out not to take a crack at your character, as we’ve met before and you’re lovely. However, I urge you to take responsibility and accountability for the example that you are setting for young people. They look up to you because you are famous, and if you treat others that way on TV, many adolescents at home on twitter assume your actions are acceptable: well if she does it, why can’t I? I cannot control my fans, and I discourage them from any negativity and violence, because that is wrong and hurtful -- and I do feel baldy that your feelings were hurt. However, we can all do our part in the media to set a standard of respect, compassion, and love. I wish for you to be treated with the kindness and respect that everyone deserves.
While some of my fans have learning to do, most of them share the same values as I, and it's what bonds us together. And that bond is strong.
Gaga and Cynthia
PS. And to any media or celebrities that happen to find this letter in their path, I hope you, too, consider the power of your voices. Lets work together and make 2013 a year of unity.
