Behind the Scenes Pics of tonights PUNK'D

It’s no secret that Miley Cyrus teamed up with MTV and the ‘Punk’d’ folks to pull one over her love, Liam Hemsworth, but now fans can see exactly how the prank went down.

In a new preview for the episode, we see the ‘LOL’ star talking about her target, er, boyfriend, reminding viewers that he was in ‘The Hunger Games’ and starred alongside her in ‘The Last Song.’ (Yeah, Miley, as if we could forget.)

“He’s kind of always a prankster, so I’m happy to get him,” she explained to her cohorts. The video then shows the ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ singer explaining the setup.

“Right now we’re at the location where I’m going to stop and ‘get cash,’” Cyrus says in front of a local bank. “And naked people are going to jump into our car and Liam’s going to come around the corner and the cops will be there and he’ll get blamed for it.”

With a giant grin on her face, she adds, “Liam, you’re about to get punked. Love ya!” The clip offers a glimpse of an angry and frustrated Hemsworth, freaking out on the couple and the cops. Ultimately, though, we think the actor is just standing up for his lady. Perhaps chivalry isn’t dead after all.

Be sure to watch the ep, which airs Thursday, May 17 on MTV.

T.I. Confirms Racist Rapper Iggy Azalea Not Signed to Interscope

Despite reports to the contrary, T.I. has confirmed that Iggy Azalea is not signed to Interscope Records.

In an interview with MTV's Hip Hop POV, Tip said the Australian newcomer is a "free agent" and is currently in talks with multiple labels.

Azalea is repped by T.I.'s Grand Hustle Entertainment and had previously claimed to have a deal in place at Interscope.

“Interscope, if you were wondering,” she tweeted in January. “Get used to me + jimmy [Iovine] smashing s--t, cause thats the plan.”

One of XXL's hip hop Freshmen of 2012, Iggy is working on a new EP titled Glory, which is rumored to feature Big Sean, Mike Posner and B.o.B. Previously, she released the single "Murda Bizness" featuring T.I.

First Look: ‘Elementary’ releases promo images, official synopsis

Hot on the heels of picking up the Sherlock Holmes pilot for a full season last week, CBS has released new promo images and an official synopsis for the show!

The pictures surfaced online late last night, and were collated by the Baker Street Babes (wtf). These promos give us our first official look at Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Joan Watson, respectively. It seems that Miller’s Holmes will make a habit of wearing scarves, as we first saw in set photos from a couple of months ago.

Childish Gambino gets a few things off his chest on twitter and drops “Untitled” | New Music

Rapper/actor/comedian/writer Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino took to his twitter moments ago to get a few things off his chest.

I won’t paraphrase or try and dissect his words so you can read his full thoughts below. “Dear twitter people,
I don’t like talking…stand up’s different. More like I don’t like explaining. I never feel like I’m saying what I wanna say or how I feel. I’m sure even parts of this will be quoted and taken out of context and people will be mad or talk shit but won’t read the whole thing cause, honestly, we’re all busy. I get it tho.

I think a lot people think I’m just doing shit to do shit. In a way, that’s true. But I like making things. I wanna do things well.
I’m learning music theory, and taking lessons. Learning languages so I can write in other languages. I love making stuff. I really do.
My boy Kendrick gives me props which is a really cool thing to do. Doesn’t need to do that at all, but he does cause he’s a good person. He shouted me out at Coachella for making the beat for “Look out for Detox” and when I rapped over the beat at Coachella to bring him out, I saw people write “Childish, rips off Kendrick song”.

The Sex Deal

This couple is A++ list. You would be hard pressed to find a bigger celebrity couple anywhere. Not that long ago there were lots of infidelity rumors that plagued the couple. It seems that the man in the relationship just could not control his sexual urges. Never mind the fact that if he destroyed the couple with his infidelities that headlines would follow everyday for a year, he still had to get some sex so he did. Well, his significant other who was never much for sex decided that the brand and the couple was really important so promised her significant other they would have sex everyday for a year if he would behave. Previously they had sex about once every two months. Just like everything she puts her mind to she followed through and the couple had sex everyday for a year. For that year they were never apart and even when he was tired or complaining she would not give in. Well, after a year, it stopped. In fact, almost everything about them has stopped. Rarely even seen together any longer one of the downsides to their year of sex was they found that they go through periods where they really can't even stand to be in the same room. What was supposed to bring them closer together actually ended up driving them apart. Now instead of a sex deal, what they have is a deal where they try to be photographed together once every two weeks otherwise they spend most of their time apart. Right now their image keeps them together and nothing else.

Goodbye Awake, Hello Jason Isaacs

NBC cancels 'Awake' (and 3 others)

Time to close your eyes for good, Awake: The Jason Isaacs drama did not earn a pickup for fall after a lackluster first season. It only averaged 5.07 million.

NBC also said ta-ta to Are You There, Chelsea (3.34 million), Best Friends Forever (3.34 million), and Bent (3.05 million), three other comedies that failed to gain any traction this season.

The cancellations weren’t exactly a surprise, but then again — NBC just picked up another season of Whitney so Isaacs or Chelsea Handler could have received a stay of execution. To see all the shows that canned for fall — along with those that earned a pickup — check out our updated Death Watch chart.

NBC will present its fall lineup to advertisers on Monday in New York.

John Travolta's wife Kelly Preston wants to have another baby

John Travolta's wife Kelly Preston wants to have another baby at the age of 50.

The 49-year-old Jerry Maguire star, who will reach the milestone age in October, said she would love to be pregnant again.

Speaking in a television interview with Amanda de Cadenet she revealed expanding her family help her expand her heart.

She said: "I always wanted to have more kids. I feel like I would even have another child, but it might be pushing it. I'm not afraid to love and to love deeply. My kids help me with that. They open up your heart so much. There's nothing like the love of a child. It's the greatest thing ever."

Kelly gave birth to her youngest son Benjamin in 2010 and she credits the toddler with helping her to cope with the loss of 16-year-old son Jett, who died after having a seizure on a family holiday in 2009.

The star - who is also a parent to 12-year-old daughter Ella Bleu - spoke about the feeling of loss after Jett's death.

She said: "Nobody should have to lose a child. It's unfathomable. But I'm here to say that you can get through it. You can live again. You can want to live again. Everybody grieves in their own way. I felt at times like I was drowning. It felt like a sea of wet blankets. And then I just peeled them off, layer by layer, so that I can now say, 'I want to live.' I love life. My life is beautiful and amazing."

Imogen Poots has signed to star opposite Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette and Emile Hirsch in French filmmaker Pascal Chaumeil's A Long Way Down.

The script details the story of four disparate individuals who meet one another on a London roof top on New Year's Eve all with the same intention to commit suicide. Instead of jumping, these complete strangers make a pact to stay alive and stay together until Valentine's Day, at least.

Marking Chaumeil's English-language debut, the project is an adaptation of Nick Hornby's novel of the same name and is being produced by Finola Dwyer and Amanda Posey via the duo's Wildgaze Films.

Adult Swim Announces Season 4 Of The Boondocks

Good news for you Boondocks fans. After a two-year hiatus and a lot of speculation, Huey, Riley, Grandpa and the crew will be returning to a TV near you.

Back in March Regina King, the voice behind both Huey and Riley, hinted that the show might be returning. She explained to a radio station: “I talked to Aaron and it looks like they’re working things out. I’m trying to be positive. But you know you say one thing and the next thing you know it just fell apart. But it looks strong like we’re coming back.”

Welp, it looks like fans have gotten their wish. Late yesterday, the Boondocks season four graphic was released on the Adult Swim website, although the network has yet to release any details on when the show would me making its return.

Although I never really got into the show, I know many people who love it and are looking forward to seeing the show once again poke fun at politics and pop culture in equal measure. source

Taylor Swift Donates $4 Million to Country Music Hall of Fame for Music Education Program

So what were you doing when you were 22 years old?

If you're Taylor Swift, you're donating a very large sum of money to help kids enjoy country music.

It was announced today that Taylor, all on her own, is donating $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for an exhibit and classroom space which will be called The Taylor Swift Education Center.

The donation is the largest in museum history by an artist and the second largest from a single person
-- single as in one individual, not single as in ha ha you're single.

“In terms of what it will allow us to do, we do education very well now,” museum director Kyle Young said. “It will allow us to do what we do better, serve more people, develop new programs and I’m happy to say that as we talked through this opportunity with Taylor, she very much wants to be involved in an advisory capacity in what we do. Is there a better person out there who’s in touch with a young audience? I think not. I was joking we should be paying her to do that. I was only joking.”

The Taylor Swift expansion will be part of a much larger $75 million expansion at the HOF which will increase its size by 200,000 square feet. According to The Washington Post, The Taylor Swift Education Center will be 7,500+ square feet and will feature two stories, three classrooms, and an exhibit space. The space will be geared toward kids and will have interactive activities such as a musical petting zoo and a space where kids (and their parents, because you know parents will love this too) can make concert posters and other art projects that may get messy.

Besides being for kids, Taylor's expansion will allow the HOF to engage more teens and seniors with projects and workshops geared towards them.

Wow! I'm impressed. This is truly a great way to keep on being included in the Forbes lists, that's for sure.

The Taylor Swift Education Center is expected to open in 2014.

Carlos Fuentes passed away at 83

How Carlos Fuentes reinvented the novel
The Mexican author's British editor remembers the man and his consequences

Carlos Fuentes was one of the most extraordinary writers in an extraordinary generation that included Gabriel García Márquez, Julio Cortázar and Mario Vargas Llosa. Together the ‘Boom’ generation, as they came to be known, reinvented the novel in Latin America and made it into a force that commanded international attention.

Carlos was a natural diplomat, not very far beneath whose suave and elegant exterior was a passionate man of principle; as the Telegraph’s obituary pointed out, he refused as a teenager to attend school in Buenos Aires, where his father was serving as ambassador, in protest at right-wing Argentine extremism; later he would resign his post as his country’s Ambassador in Paris in protest at the appointment of the former President, Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, who had been heavily implicated in the Tlatelolco massacre of students in 1968 in Mexico City, as ambassador to Spain.

But these were extreme moments and although he was a passionate advocate of justice and human rights, most of the time his charm and good humour, albeit driven by that passion and energy, seemed to make good things happen effortlessly. Gerald Martin tells the story in his superb biography of García Márquez of how it was Fuentes who prepared the way for One Hundred Years of Solitude by taking it up, sharing his enthusiasm and the first three chapters first with his friends (including Julio Cortázar, who was as excited and astonished by what he read as Fuentes had been), and then more widely by arranging their early publication in a Spanish-language magazine in Paris in August 1966. In an interview with the editor he dubbed those pages ‘magisterial’, spoke of the novel as a masterpiece and cleverly referred to it as ‘a work in progress’ – the reference to Joyce was as genuine as it was conscious. It was a brilliant and daring strategy (after all, García Márquez hadn’t yet finished his book!), and it was this championing that helped to create the taste by which One Hundred Years of Solitude (not to mention many later books by many other writers) would be enjoyed. I have a treasured and battered copy of Barbara Howes’ excellent 1973 anthology called The Eye of the Heart, which collects together stories by 42 amazing writers from Machado de Assis and Clarice Lispector (translated by Elizabeth Bishop, no less), to Gabriela Mistral and Jorge Luis Borges. The ‘Boom’ continued to resonate as its ripples spread outwards.

Someone bitches about the Avengers adopted line

The lame joke at the expense of adopted kids in the movie The Avengers isn’t just mean, it’s something perhaps worse: unfunny.

The Avengers has scored big at the box office. However, it has fallen flat with an increasingly number of child advocates across America. The reason? This exchange in the film:

The Black Widow character says, "[Loki] killed 80 people in two days." Then Thor, Loki's brother, replies, "He's adopted."

A Hawkeye/Avengers Post

Avengers superhero stunts demand a blend of fighting styles

The werewolf and vampire battles of "Twilight," Jason Bourne's super-agent skirmishes and the sword swinging of "Conan the Barbarian" were all just warm-ups for stunt master Jonathan Eusebio, who choreographed the superhero fight scenes in "The Avengers" with the passion of a lifelong comic book fan.

"I grew up as a fanboy," said Eusebio, 38. "I grew up reading comics, collecting comics, so for me it's a dream job. And to be part of something new, something that's never been done before like this, it is really exciting. It's almost like the highlight of my career."

Eusebio spent countless childhood hours absorbing tales of the Hulk's immense size and strength, Black Widow's quick and deadly moves, Hawkeye's precision archery, Thor and Loki's otherworldly powers, and Captain America's unflinching readiness. Add in a big Marvel budget and the high stakes of saving humanity, and it's a comic-fan turned fight-coordinator's perfect gig.

Liam Neeson - Taken 2 interview

In 2008’s Taken, Liam Neeson’s turn as a retired special-ops agent trying to rescue his kidnapped daughter from sex traffickers in Paris did a lot more than scare teens away from ever wanting to visit Europe.

It was also a surprise blockbuster, collecting $226 million worldwide and reestablishing the Schindler’s List Oscar-nominee as a major action star.

In Taken 2 (out Oct. 5), Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the CIA agent with “a particular set of skills” for hunting down bad guys, but this time his daughter (Maggie Grace) has to help rescue him when associates of the villains he killed the first time around decide to get their revenge.

Director Olivier Megaton (Colombiana, Transporter 3) takes over filmmaking duties from the original movie’s Pierre Morell, but screenwriters Robert Mark Kamen and Luc Besson (who also produced) are both back. And Famke Janssen, who played Neeson’s ex-wife, is also returning for the second go-round.

How Kanye West Blew His Legacy

The year was 2004 and commercial hip-hop was enjoying steady record sales through stars that left underground fans shaking there head in disgust. Lil Wayne was beginning his ascent to dominance with the release of “Tha Carter”, Lil Jon put out “Crunk Juice” and T.I. further enhanced the South’s grip on the radio. Aftermath was enjoying success with b-list artists like Young Buck and Llyod Banks. Yet real hip-hop fans shunned these developments and looked to artists like MF Doom and Masta Ace to restore there pride in the music. However there was one artist who everybody could love. He burst onto the scene with a buzz that connected mainstream with underground, and even Indie Rock fans with Hip-Hop. His name was Kanye West and his debut album “The College Dropout” gave hope to millions. He was a unique entity, a counter-cultural icon to Eminem and 50 Cent, who at this point had become shoddy imitators of 90′s gangsta rap.

Jean Craighead George, Children’s Author, Dies at 92

Jean Craighead George, a Newbery Award-winning writer for young people whose books brought the natural world from the Catskill Mountains to the Alaskan tundra to wild, luminous life, died on Tuesday in Mount Kisco, N.Y. She was 92.

Her family confirmed the death.

The author of more than 100 fiction and nonfiction titles that have collectively sold millions of copies, Ms. George was best known for two novels for older children, “My Side of the Mountain” (1959), which she also illustrated, and “Julie of the Wolves” (1972), illustrated by John Schoenherr. That book won the Newbery Medal — considered the Pulitzer Prize of children’s letters — in 1973.

“My Side of the Mountain” tells the story of Sam Gribley, a youth who forsakes a life of quiet desperation in New York City to live on his own in the Catskills wilderness. There, he survives by virtue of the deep sympathy with nature that animates all of Ms. George’s protagonists, until the modern world closes in again.

The novel was made into a 1969 feature film of the same title, starring Teddy Eccles and Theodore Bikel.

“Julie of the Wolves,” which was also a finalist for the National Book Award, centers on a 13-year-old Eskimo girl, Miyax, or Julie as she is known in English. Fleeing an oppressive arranged marriage, she strikes out to live alone in the Alaskan wild. Her survival is aided by a family of wolves, with whom she learns to communicate via sound and gesture, much as Ms. George did during a trip to the Arctic to research the book.

'Scandal': Kerry Washington teases tonight's season finale

Tonight, ABC’s Scandal concludes its first season (10 p.m. ET). After last week's steamy episode, which flashed back to the start of Olivia Pope’s (Kerry Washington) affair with President Fitz Grant (Tony Goldwyn) during his campaign before showing them officially saying goodbye (again) in the present day, the stakes couldn’t be higher. As we see in the promo below, the Vice President’s chief of staff Billy Chambers (Matt Letsche) takes his accusation that the president abused his power to take sexual advantage of White House aide Amanda Tanner (Liza Weil) public — and the audio sex tape that Billy wants people to think is with Amanda but is actually with Olivia gets out as well. Of course, viewers know that Billy was the father of Amanda’s baby and set her presidential tryst and this brewing scandal in motion. But now that Billy has killed reporter Gideon (Brendan Hines), the only one who’d figured out Billy’s connection, what happens? Will Olivia have to admit it’s her on the tape to save the president? Or will she and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) come up with a brilliant move to save both Fitz and Olivia? “I’m always terrified in interviews that I’m gonna say something that’s gonna really get me in trouble with Shonda [Rhimes],” Washington says, laughing. “I will say that when I read the episode, it was a real roller coaster. The thing about managing a crisis in today’s world [versus] 10 years ago, is that there’s so much more intensity because news is so much more immediate, and you have a sense of that in this episode, which is exciting — how quickly the stories change and evolve, and so how quickly your tactic and plan has to change and evolve.” (That tells us nothing, so Shonda should be happy!)

"The Untitled Terrence Malick project" gets a title and an R-rating

it's called To The Wonder

Before the lineup for this year’s Cannes Film Festival was announced, many were hoping that Terrence Malick’s romantic drama starring Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams (previously referred to as The Burial) would be among the films set to premiere. Given that he just released The Tree of Life last year, it would have been an unprecedented move; the average time between the release of Malick films is 7.6 years (yes, I did the math). However, the director has become surprisingly prolific as of late, lining up two new films to shoot this year. He filmed the romantic drama in 2010, but he famously spends years shaping his films in the editing room.

The Cannes lineup announcement came and went with no mention of Malick, but today we’ve got some news that provides hope for those wishing to see the film sometime this year. Not only does the film now have a set title of To the Wonder, it has an official rating of R. Hit the jump for more, including story details.

The official Classifications & Ratings Administration has revealed (via The Film Stage) that To the Wonder is rated R for “some sexuality/nudity.” This rating falls in line with the synopsis that was revealed late last year:

“It concerns a philanderer (Affleck) who, feeling at loose ends, travels to Paris, where he enters a hot-and-heavy affair with a European woman (Olga Kurylenko). Said Lothario returns home to Oklahoma, where he marries the European woman (in part for visa reasons). When the relationship flounders, he rekindles a romance with a hometown girl (McAdams) with whom he’s had a long history.”

Mr. “gorgeous photography” Malick is taking on the world of s-e-x. I've been looking forward to this one for quite some time, in part because Malick has assembled a top notch cast. In addition to Affleck, McAdams, and Kurylenko, the film also stars Javier Bardem, Rachel Weisz, Barry Pepper, and a possible brief appearance by Jessica Chastain and/or Michael Sheen. This rating and title mean that the director has finally put the finishing touches on the project, and once he secures distribution we could hopefully see the film in theaters later this year. Producers will most likely be shopping the film at the Cannes Film Festival, so we hopefully we’ll have distribution news to report in the next two weeks. Stay tuned.

The weirdness behind Die Hard Movies: AKA a reason for you to look at Bruce Willis being hot

The Die Hard series may be alive and well almost 25 years after the first movie, but there's a unique story behind the writing of each one…

As any action fanatic will tell you, Die Hard is among the best films of its type ever made. Tautly directed by John McTiernan, deceptively well shot by cinematographer Jan de Bont, and full of charismatic turns from Bruce Willis, Alan Rickman and Bonnie Bedelia, it’s seldom been bettered, even by its sequels.

What’s notable about Die Hard and the movies that followed it, though, is that there’s an intriguing story behind the origins of each one. And if you ever thought, while sitting through the sequels, that they’re all very different in tone and style from each other, there’s a very good reason for that…

The plot is being kept under tight wraps and all that Roth has to say is that it was inspired by his time filming in Chile, and that it will be ”daring and terrifying”. That leaves us with only the enigmatic title to speculate about.

Yet the writers at Screen Crush have already pieced together a very interesting theory. Green Inferno, they point out, was an alternate title forNatura Contro, known as Cannibal Holocaust 2 in the States. An ’80s cannibal horror movie set in the Amazon, it’s widely known as the film that ended the genre, but has a huge cult following amongst die-hard-horror fans.

Roth is very clear that Green Inferno is an original idea of his, so we can be sure that it won’t be a remake, but could the title be a humorous nod to the killer of the cannibal genre as Roth attempts to revive it? We know that he’s a fan of the film because there are photos of him wearing a “Cannibal Holocaust” t-shirt. Add all this to the fact that the film is to be shot in Peru, home to a large percentage of the Amazon rainforest, and the theory starts to look very compelling indeed.

I can't even really watch horror movies, but I just want to do this dude.

Michel Gondry's New Film Follows High School Kids in the Bronx

Michel Gondry used to have a style that was easy to pigeonhole. His "Science of Sleep," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and past music video collaborations with Bjork, The Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk suggested a magical, expansive style that took place just left of center.

But now comes "The We And The I," a simple, honest look at a bunch of Bronx high school kids taking the bus home from school. The film will premiere at Cannes, and the trailer was just released.

In 2010 he told Cinema Blend that this film was about his own experience as a high-schooler, and "the phenomenon of people, how different they are in groups and large numbers, and how they become more interesting and complex when they are in smaller groups."

He also said it would be about "a group of school kids who travel into the future by mistake and discover a machine that keeps people younger."

Well, OK! Maybe it's both. Maybe it's everything.

Judging from the trailer, though, the film seems more in line with Gondry's work on the Dave Chappelle project, "Block Party," from 2005, and his last, underrated lo-fi comedy, "Be Kind Rewind."

Gondry is one of my absolute favorite directors so I'm really excited for this.

T.I. Does Not Care About Gay Marriage

Rapper T.I. was asked about gay marriage on Hot 97 yesterday, just two days after fellow hip-hop artist Jay-Z said he agrees with President Obama on granting full marriage rights to same-sex couples.

The response is far more tepid:

"I don't care. I don't see what the big deal is, why some people are so against it. Why would you be so against it if it doesn't affect you or your lifestyle? I'm not in that world and it doesn't affect me if they did or they didn't... I don't care enough one way or another.

If something doesn't affect you, you should not take a strong position against it."

Unless perhaps if the impact hurts others.

T.I. has previously said he thinks celebrities should be able to speak out against gay rights without being "shut down."

iCarly will end in November

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

After five seasons, Nickelodeon's hit series iCarly will be coming to an end, has learned exclusively. In June, the cast will come together for the last time to film a special iCarly television event that will air in November.

"Everyone at iCarly has been like family to me for five years," creator and executive producer Dan Schneider told "When we film our very last scene, there will be a lot of crying, I know. But I also know that in television, you don't want to over-stay your welcome. I want to go out the way we are — on a creative high-note. "

"iCarly has been a definitional show for Nick with kid empowerment at its core and irreverent, smart humor that families around the world enjoy," Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon's president of development and original programming said. "With its classic sitcom format and beloved characters, iCarly will always have a home on Nickelodeon."

Although the show is coming to an end, many of the cast members will stay in the Nickelodeon family. The network has green-lit a new live-action series from Schneider starring McCurdy and a new pilot starring Munck as part of an overall talent deal with the 16-year-old. The network has also green-lit a pilot from producers Jay Kogen and Aaron Kaplan called Wendell & Vinnie, which stars Trainor as a goofball uncle who becomes the guardian to his conservative 12-year-old genius nephew. As for Cosgrove, she plans to attend USC in the fall.

Blind Items

1. Which former A-lister and Hollywood womanizer – he supposedly sowed his wild oats before getting married and raising a family – hasn’t been that loyal? The Oscar winner has been having phone sex with a C-list celebrity for years behind his famous actress/wife’s back! National Enquirer
My Guess: Warren Beatty and no clue about the C-list celebrity

2. One of the main actors from the latest “Avengers” film is so in to his character right now, he’s been buying up fan art online. He doesn’t display it in house, but keeps it in a room and shows it to close friends. He seems to be proud of his growing collection, and we do mean growing! BuzzFoto
My Guess: Mark Ruffalo

3. Which famous high-budget action director had a major meltdown on the Miami set of his latest film? The single and never married playboy – he only dates gorgeous models and actresses – fired an assistant director for dating an extra he had his eye on! National Enquirer
My Guess: Michael Bay being a douche canoe and loving the smell of his own farts, per usual

4. He had a nose job when he was in his teens (he had the bridge thinned out). He had his teeth completely redone (although we wouldn’t include teeth in the plastic surgery category). He had his eyeballs replaced. He had a mid-section face lift and lower blepharoplasty (eye job) around 2009. He is currently holding off on upper eye work (because that would drastically change his look). Now he just has regular injections of Botox and Restylane to freeze things up and plump them out. Hey, it’s good work, he doesn’t look “done”, and his face settled in nicely six months after the plastic surgery. But it’s still plastic surgery. And he is still a liar. Blind Gossip

Leighton Meester talks about moving on from show that shant be named + other awesome stuff

One of the show’s biggest stars, Leighton Meester, has already made a big geographical switch — from New York to Los Angeles — to commit more time to her other passion: music. “It kind of already feels like it’s coming to an end now because I’m basically living in another place and moving on to something else,” says the woman behind the fiery Blair Waldorf in an exclusive interview with Wetpaint Entertainment. That “something else” has led to her first tour (five shows on the west coast, which kicks off May 29) with band and longtime pals Check in the Dark, whom she calls her “musical soul mates.”

We may be nearing the end of our love affair with GG, but if it’s any consolation, Leighton is prepared to give us the sweetest breakup song ever.

On the beginning of the end for Gossip Girl:
“We don’t go back to New York until July, and we only have four months of shooting [Season 6] so [...] it’s kind of a good thing and a bad thing. I’m excited to for it to end because I’m ready for a new chapter […], and at the same time, the thing I’ll miss the most is the people that I work with. Everyone’s like family — the crew [and] everyone that we work with every day in New York.”

Oliver Stone's "Savages" Stills and Behind the Scenes Shots

Where has this Oliver Stone been? After a series of restrained looks at recent history including "W." and "World Trade Center," this adaptation of Don Winslow's bestseller returns the cinematic provocateur to his gonzo roots.

It's the story of a pair of pot dealers whose mutual girlfriend is kidnapped by a vicious drug cartel. To give a sense of the carnage that awaits when the movie premieres in July, Adam Fogelson, Universal Pictures chairman, told an audience of theater owners at the recent industry trade show CinemaCon that the film is a throwback to Stone's work on "Scarface" and "Natural Born Killers."

Based on the early footage, "Savages" positively reeks of sex, ultra-violence and law-breaking.

Add to that a smoking hot cast of young up-and-comers like Aaron Johnson, Blake Lively and Taylor Kitsch (mercifully, a galaxy far, far away from "John Carter") and some old pros like John Travolta and Benicio Del Toro gnawing on meaty character roles, and you have that rarest of things at the summer box office - a movie for grown-ups. Beat Takeshi compares same-sex marriage with bestiality

Gay rights campaigners in Japan hit out Thursday at Takeshi “Beat” Kitano after the award-winning actor-director compared same-sex marriage with bestiality.

Kitano, whose yakuza gangster films are popular around the world, enraged activists with his comments on a popular current affairs show as guests were being asked for their opinions on Barack Obama’s stance on gay marriage.

“Obama supports gay marriage. You would support a marriage to an animal eventually, then,” Kitano said after being shown footage of people celebrating the U.S. president’s comments.

Gays and lesbians do not usually encounter outright hostility in Japan, but there are few rights built into law for same-sex couples and there is little public debate on gay marriage.

Taiga Ishikawa, a gay activist and Tokyo assembly member who was among those shown celebrating in the program on Saturday, said the remark was unbecoming for someone of Kitano’s global stature.

“He is a world famous film director. It is disappointing that such an influential figure made that kind of negative comment,” Ishikawa told AFP.

“As a movie director, he must be a person with a great sense of imagination. I wish he had been able to put himself in the position of gay and lesbian people in society.”

Kitano, whose 1997 film Hana-bi won the Golden Lion at Venice, is a regular feature on Japanese television, hosting his own weekly show.

Last week Obama became the first sitting U.S. president to openly back gay marriage, an issue that sharply divides America.

Earlier this week, Tokyo Disney Resort confirmed same-sex wedding ceremonies could be held at hotels inside the popular theme park.

Jon Hamm & Daniel Radcliffe confirmed for "A Young Doctor's Notebook" miniseries

This is the confirmed story, mods, not some tabloid half-assed rumor.

Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe have been confirmed as the stars of a new U.K. comedy drama miniseries based on a Russian novel in which they both play the same character.

The pair feature in "A Young Doctor's Notebook," a four-part skein inspired by a collection of short stories by Russian writer and playwright Mikhail Bulgakov set during the Russian Revolution.

Hamm takes the role of the older doctor, who has a series of bleakly comic exchanges with his younger self, portrayed by Radcliffe.

Hamm said: "Big Talk has been championing this project unabashedly and I share their great enthusiasm for bringing something original, dark, funny and moving to light.

"Also, I have been watching 'Bridget Jones's Diary' on infinite loop, and I think I've finally got this accent thing sorted..."

Radcliffe added: "I have been an obsessive Bulgakov reader for a couple of years now so when the opportunity to become involved in this project came up, I could barely contain my excitement.

"The book is funny, grotesque and heartfelt in equal measure and I look forward to working with a great group of people to help bring it to life."

Source - I do wonder who's sacrificing their eyes by wearing colored contacts for the role, as Dan has blue eyes and Jon's got green ones.

Star Magazine remains delusional and accuses Josh Hutcherson of harassing Jennifer Lawrence

This is an odd one.

Star magazine claims Josh Hutcherson is harassing Jennifer Lawrence, his co-star in The Hunger Games.

The tabloid explains that Hutcherson is “still trying to boost his celebrity status,” so he’s supposedly “chasing” Lawrence.

“He’s really p-ssing her off,” alleges a Star “source,” adding, “He harasses her to go to dinner, and it stresses her out. And he gets annoyed when she turns him down.”

We know scandal-starved rags like Star want real life to be as conflict-oriented as The Hunger Games — but allegations that Hutcherson and Lawrence’s friendship is actually some weird, ugly power play really belong on the fiction shelf.

A source close to Hutcherson tells Gossip Cop it’s ”the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard”

Big Underdog: Michael B. Jordan

Michael B. Jordan won HBO-America’s heart on the first season of The Wire playing Wallace, a sweet teenage drug dealer in Baltimore who gets murdered. Wallace was one of the most beloved characters in the past decade of TV, a fact Jordan gets reminded of quiet often. “Even today, when I walk down the street, people yell, ‘Hey Wallace!’” he says.

Jordan has made a career of playing minors coping with major drama. Earlier this year, he portrayed high school jock Steve Montgomery in Chronicle. It’s his second QB stint, after his role on Friday Night Lights as Vince Howard, a kid from the Wire side of Texas town chasing gridiron glory.

“Growing up, football was the only organized sport I did not play,” says Jordan, 25, of his upbringing in Newark, New Jersey. He keeps a detailed character journal with a full biographical back-story for each role. “I probably wrote the longest journal for Vince. There was so much drama.”

Jordan’s resume also includes parts on TV’s Parenthood and George Lucas’ Tuskegee Airmen homage, Red Tails. His next film, Fruitvale, is about Oscar Grant, an unarmed young black man who was shot and killed by police on a San Francisco train platform in 2009. Jordan signed to do the film in March, when he heard about the controversial murder of Florida teen Trayvon martin.

He’s happy that gritty, empathetic realism has become his calling card: “It seems like the roles I work on keep mirroring current events.”

Mmmmmm. My bb is just popping up in more and more publications and roles. I hope Fruitvale turns out well and gets a lot of marketing and that pilot he's in gets picked up.

The CW to Redevelop The Selection Pilot: There's Still Hope For the Hunger Games-Esque Series

We just might get our Hunger Games TV show after all.

Although The CW didn’t pick up the Aimee Teegarden pilot The Selection for its 2012-2013 season, Deadline reports that the network hasn’t given up on spinning Kiera Cass’s dystopian book trilogy into a TV series. An epic romance set 300 years in the future, The Selection centers on a young woman (Aimee Teegarden) who is chosen by lottery to participate in a competition to marry a prince and become the next queen of a war-torn nation.

Sounds a lot like The Hunger Games, no? Well, that’s the idea, and it’s no wonder The CW wants to try again with this one, since it succeeded big-time when it capitalized on the Twilight craze with The Vampire Diaries. According to Deadline, the network is looking to redevelop The Selection pilot, most likely with Aimee still playing the lead. CW president Mark Pedowitz tells the site, “I truly believe that there is a series in The Selection.”

So make it happen, guys!

Bono to Become World's Richest Musician After Facebook IPO

Bono, that guy from U2, is set to become the world's richest musician in the world when Facebook's IPO starts trading tomorrow, NME reports. He will overtake Paul McCartney (that guy from the Beatles) and will likely commemorate the occasion with a very heartfelt "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!"

The Irish singer owns 2.3 percent of the Facebook shares after having purchased them at $90 million in 2009. Now that the company is worth over $100 billion, Bono will be worth more than $1.5 billion. Meanwhile, McCartney is just over worth a measly billion dollars.

Let this be a lesson for all of us who didn't buy stock in Facebook. At least we can feel superior if, in this particular instance, he counts his money with the grammatically incorrect "Uno, dos, tres, catorce!" (one, two, three, 14 in Spanish).

Fashion flop! Adele’s Vogue UK cover was a worst seller

Adele is the music industry's darling - but her Vogue cover is one of the worst sellers of all time

She is one of the world's most popular singers, has a four times platinum album, and today added two Ivor Novello gongs to the groaning shelves of her awards cabinet.

But for all her popularity in the music world, it would seem that Adele's popularity does not translate to the fashion industry. The Vogue cover featuring the British singer proved to be one of the worst sellers of all time, the fashion magazine's editor Alexandra Shulman has revealed.

At a talk in London last night, the Vogue editor admitted that fame doesn't necessarily translate into sales. 'Adele is the most popular woman in the world, but one of the worst sellers we've ever had,' reported today.

'I find there has to be a relationship with the person on the cover that goes beyond how they look.' Music stars haven't sold at all well,' Shulman added at the ToMax talk Fashion and Fantasy: What's in Vogue and Why Does It Matter?.

'Our most successful cover was the millennium issue - which didn't have anyone on it, but acted like a mirror so you could see your own reflection!'

Ms Shulman confessed she has her heart set on one cover girl she believes would send sales soaring - but is having no luck attracting her. 'I'd love to have Kate Middleton on the cover,' she told the audience. 'I assure you it is not for want of asking.'

Skechers fined $40 million for false claims about its toning shoes

Footwear label told to shape up its substantiations or tone down its claims as American Trade Commission orders it to reimburse customers.

Footwear brand Skechers is to pay $40 million (£25 million) to settle claims that it deceived consumers by suggesting its sports shoes could help weight loss and bottom-toning.

In an agreement similar to one last year against Reebok, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in America said purchasers of the California-based firm's Shape-up, Resistance Runner, Toners and Tone-up shoe ranges can apply for refunds.

The Shape-ups adverts featured reality TV star Kim Kardashian getting rid of her personal trainer in favour of a pair of Shape-ups in a campaign aired during last year's Super Bowl - the most watched American television broadcast of the year.

"Skechers' unfounded claims went beyond stronger and more toned muscles. The company even made claims about weight loss and cardiovascular health," said David Vladeck, director of the FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection.

"The FTC's message, for Skechers and other national advertisers, is to shape up your substantiation or tone down your claims," he added.

California Attorney General Kamala Harris added: "Consumers shouldn't be duped into paying more for products with false promises of weight loss and other benefits."

Skechers, meanwhile, "vigorously" deny the allegations.

Last September, sportswear giant Reebok, a unit of the German group Adidas, agreed to pay $25 million (£15.6 million) in customer refunds to purchasers of its EasyTone walking shoes and RunTone running shoes.
