Former Mouseketeer: Xtina Was "in Love" With Tony Lucca, The Voice Cruelty Based on Long Held Grudge

The big story from "The Voice"s finale last night (May 8) was that Jermaine Paul was crowned this season's big winner. However, throughout the entire season of the show, the even bigger story has been the strange and bitter feud between mentor Christina Aguilera and contestant Tony Lucca. For those unfamiliar with the back story, Christina and Tony starred together as kids on "The Mickey Mouse Club." However, when Lucca came to audition for "The Voice," Aguilera acted as though she didn't recognize him.

But that was just the start of the strangeness between the former costars. As the season progressed, Christina became more and more critical of Tony, calling him out on numerous occasions with downright rude comments. At first, Lucca took the harsh words in stride, but finally snapped back, telling PEOPLE Magazine: "I'm not going to let one person bring me down. Clearly that seems like part of her strategy."

So what gives -- why did Christina seem to have it out for Tony this entire season? According to another former co-star from their "Mickey Mouse Club" days, it may all stem from an unrequited teen crush! Dale Godboldo, who co-starred with Tony and Christina on the show in the '90s, tells TMZ that Aguilera was actually smitten with Lucca back in the day. "Christina was in love with him," reveals Dale. But she wasn't the only one. "Britney was in love with him," added Godboldo, referencing other "MMC" star, Britney Spears.

However, despite the original crush on Aguilera's part, nothing ever came of it, leading Aguilera to hold a grudge against her former object of affection. At least according to Godboldo. "All of this ["Voice"] madness was not brought on by Tony," Dale tells TMZ.

Whether or not Aguilera's bitterness was the cause of the season-long feud, it appears the singer is trying to mend fences with Lucca. During the end of last night's finale, audiences saw Christina whispering sweetly in Tony's ear. "She just wanted to clear the air a bit," Lucca, explained to Us Weekly. "[She] apologize[d] that this became much more of a dramatic thing than she ever intended it. I said to her, 'I hope that we can be cool moving forward. I take pride in the fact that my whole career has been a career of integrity, and sound relationships."

Interview with Logan Marshall-Green about Promotheus

Logan Marshall-Green is known for recurring guest roles on 24 and THE O.C. In theatre, he’s the recipient of a Drama Desk Award for his performance in Neil LaBute’s THE DISTANCE FROM HERE.

His feature film debut came in 2005 with THE GREAT RAID, and he portrayed Paco in Julie Taymor’s ACROSS THE UNIVERSE in 2007. He can also be seen in BROOKLYN’S FINEST, as Melvin Panton and 2010′s DEVIL, based on a story by M. Night Shyamalan.

On the set of Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS, Marshall-Green discusses his character Holloway, working with one of sci-fi’s greatest pioneers, and the themes of the film.

What can you tell us about your character?

I play Charlie Holloway, who is a scientist and the love interest of Elizabeth Shaw, Noomi Rapace’s character. They are a team. If she’s the brains, he’s the legs. I wouldn’t go so far to say muscle, but he’s the legs. He’s the one who leaps before he looks, and sometimes it hurts them as a team but a lot of the times it’s helped them. He takes a lot of chances and so far so good. This mission is one of the chances. The beautiful part is Noomi and I are teamed, but we actually differ in our philosophies as to exactly what we want or what we believe. She’s the believer. I’m the scientist. I’m the skeptic. I’m the atheist, if you will. But we complete each other, for lack of a better word. We make a whole in that sense. I think its what’s drawn the characters together romantically as well. It’s just this kind of respect, full respect but my skepticism matched with her beliefs, her faith.

Alanis Morissette Unveils New Single, 'Guardian'

The song previews her new studio album, 'Havoc and Bright Lights,' due Aug. 28.

Alanis Morissette offered radio the first taste of her forthcoming eighth studio album, "Havoc and Bright Lights," today (May 11) in the form of new single "Guardian."

"I'll be your keeper for life as your guardian / I'll be your warrior of care, your first warden," sings Morissette, who got married and gave birth to her first child in 2010, life events that appear to have informed the song's lyrics. "I'll be your angel on call, I'll be on demand / The greatest honor of all, as your guardian."

The Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter will offer the world premiere performance of "Guardian" on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" Tuesday (15), the same day that the song will be made available at the iTunes Store (making it eligible for the Billboard sales charts to be released the following week). She'll also perform on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on May 22.

'"Havoc" arrives Aug. 28 on Collective Sounds, marking Morissette's first release in four years. Producers on the set include Guy Sigsworth (Bjork, Madonna, Seal) and Joe Chiccarelli (Tori Amos, Elton John, My Morning Jacket, U2).

"This record, as always, is a snapshot of what I currently obsess about, care about, and what strikes me at 4 in the morning in my most introspective moments," says Morissette, who has sold 20.7 million albums in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. Her 1995 album "Jagged Little Pill" has sold 14.7 million, making it the third-biggest-selling set of the SoundScan era.

"('Havoc') is my emotional, psychological, social and philosophical commentary through song."

"David Cook sucks balls, we don't want him on our label," says RCA but not in those words

Season 7 winner David Cook debuted a new song on American Idol Thursday night, but it won't be coming out on RCA Records.

The show alum tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I'm currently without a record deal." He's self-releasing "The Last Song I'll Write For You" to "see how the song does."

Cook reveals that his contract with Sony Music-owned RCA Records was up after his second album, This Loud Morning. "It just felt like the time to try something different," he says. "I love the creative control, so we're going to self-release and see what happens from there." He also parted ways with 19 Entertainment, as THR previously reported, and is currently being managed by Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment.

As for what happens next? The road is long, as the Hollies once sang, and Cook says, "We're just going to keep doing what we're doing. If someone wants to hop on board and get behind it, then great, let's talk about it. I just love making music and however I'm gonna do that is however I'm gonna do that. But if I keep writing songs like this, hopefully things will turn out OK."

Indeed, the hooky new track wasn't the usual three-month struggle. "The melody was real natural, which almost never happens to me," he adds. "It all came together rather quickly."
The Idol appearance, he says, "became the obvious choice to do and I'm so glad it worked out this way and that we can unveil it on that stage."
Other show alums no longer signed to Sony-affiliated labels include season 7 runner-up David Archuleta, season 9's Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox, season 6's Blake Lewis, season 5's Taylor Hicks, season 4's Bo Bice, and season 2's Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard, among others.

Stay classy America, keep voting for basic white dudes then not supporting their careers. (With that said, go Phillip!) I love when people from AI get dropped from their labels it's hilarious, get on that Craigslist job section yo.

Justin Bieber + The Lonely Island?

Biebs flew to New York on Wednesday for reasons unexplained, and it seems he and the TLI guys spent some time together.

We already know that Lorne Michaels had wanted Justin Bieber on SNL as host&musical guest this past season - perhaps with the season closing and time constraints being what they are they've settled for an appearance on a Lonely Island video instead?

This would be Justin's second SNL Digital Short - he featured in a movie trailer spoof with Andy Samberg in February 2011:

Gurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl: Serena Williams releases rap single

Forget tennis, Serena Williams got a new sport ... the rap game -- and she's making her debut with a brand new song that's actually pretty catchy.

TMZ broke the story ... Serena laid down some tracks last year at a Florida record studio called B Major Music Group -- owned by Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie, who's good friends with the Williams sisters.

Now, one of the tracks has finally surfaced -- and it ain't half bad.

The lyrics are a little cliché -- shocker, another song about "balling hard" -- but her flow is surprisingly not annoying. She even gives her sister Venus a little shoutout.

'Mad Men' And 'Game Of Thrones' Comparisons: Are The Characters Separated At Birth?

Sunday nights are chock full of good television, but let's be honest, they're all about "Mad Men" (10 p.m. ET on AMC) and "Game of Thrones" (9 p.m. ET on HBO). Whatever other on-screen developments occur elsewhere that night, many TV fans spend half of their Mondays with all things Westeros-Draper on the brain.

So I can't be the only one to have noticed just how alike the AMC and HBO dramas are, especially this season, and it's not just because both shows have startlingly similar roster of characters (which you can see in the slide show below). Both even feature a very entertaining wily older man/resourceful young girl duos (Arya Stark/Tywin Lannister on "Game of Thrones" and Roger Sterling/Sally Draper on "Mad Men"). But the similarities go deep, actually.

Both shows feature perfectly constructed costumes and elaborate sets meant to transport us to other worlds -- and they do so successfully, week after week. But these fine cable dramas are so much more than the sum of their exceptional production values: They're complex and realistically contradictory explorations of the games people play to get ahead or to just hang on to what they've got.

Melissa Gorga selling her home + which RHONJ is about to declare bankruptcy?

The show is “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” But maybe a better name would be “Family Feud.”

What else are we supposed to infer from the newly re-listed New Jersey home of “Housewives” star Melissa Gorga, 32, and her husband, Joe Gorga? The couple has priced their 13,500-square-foot house for $3.8 million amid speculation that Gorga wants to leave the Montville real estate market and head to the hills — Hollywood Hills, that is, to pursue her singing career.

Of course, that’s just the rumor mill buzzing. Reality is that the couple is looking to move back to the Franklin Lakes, NJ, real estate market, which is just 16 miles away. Gorga said to US Weekly: "I’m a builder. I custom-built the houses we have lived in and will do the same with our next one. We tried Montville, but it just wasn’t for us. We want to go back to Franklin Lakes, which is closer to where I work, and we’re looking at a couple of properties now." [SOURCE]

Madonna's 2012 Income: Pop Star's Empire Poised To Earn $500 Million

Madonna isn't called a "Material Girl" for nothing. Here's a breakdown of what she's poised to pocket in 2012 -- it could be as much as $500 million in one year alone.

 - $300 million from her MDNA World Tour. Live Nation announced $240 Million in ticket sales before a South American leg was added, which could earn an additional $40 million-plus. An Australian leg of the tour is being announced shortly.

 - Industry insiders say $75 million in tour merchandise sales is not unlikely. This has always been a huge moneymaker for Madonna, who will have an even bigger spread of merchandise available at her upcoming shows.

 - $60 million is expected in sales for her new perfume, Truth or Dare, according to Women's Wear Daily.

 - Insiders report that Madonna made $10 million from her recent deal with Smirnoff. The company has been hyping her tour with TV spots and has just released a special "Madonna" edition bottle of their vodka.

 - The Queen of Pop is hoping to rake in $10 million in TV and DVD
worldwide rights for the broadcast of her upcoming tour.

- Retail experts say Madonna will earn $5 million in 2012 from her "Material Girl" clothing line and upcoming Macy's lingerie line.

Britney Spears 'X-Factor' Deal NOT SIGNED

Britney Spears
has NOT signed on to do "X Factor," contrary to numerous reports. Sources connected with Britney tell TMZ, they are "very close" to signing, working out the last few details, but the deal has not been inked.

TMZ broke the story ... Britney will be making $15 million as a judge next season. We're told the deal should be signed in the next day or two. The goal is for FOX to make the announcement Monday at the Upfronts in NYC -- that's where the Fall lineup is unveiled.

The contract must be approved by the judge handling the conservatorship, but sources connected with Britney tell us ... it has already been pre-approved.

Jonah Hex co-creator Tony DeZuniga passes away at age 79

Legendary comic artist Tony DeZuniga, co-creator of Jonah Hex and Black Orchid, passed away early Wednesday at Las Piñas Doctors Hospital in the Philippines after suffering from a stroke, heart failure and brain damage, GMA News reports. The 79-year-old artist was surrounded by wife Tina, his daughter Sheryl and his sisters-in-law.

“Tony is very smart, clever, and funny,” Tina DeZuniga told the website. “He is my knight in shining armor.”

DeZuniga was admitted to the intensive care unit in mid-April following a stroke, leading friends and fans to rally to help cover his medical expenses. On Free Comic Book Day, Filipino artists came together to sell sketches and T-shirts to raise money for the fund.

Born in Manila, DeZuniga began his comics career at the age of 16 as a letterer for a weekly magazine then moved to the United States in 1962 to study graphic design. He returned to the Philippines to work in advertising before heading back to New York City, where he was hired by DC Comics editor Joe Orlando, making DeZuniga the first Filipino artist to work for a major American comics publisher.

He used the opportunity to open the door for other Filipino creators, convincing Orlando and DC Editor-in-Chief Carmine Infantino to visit the Philippines in 1971 to recruit such artists as Alex Niño, Alfredo Alcala, Nestor Redondo, Fred Carrillo, Vicatan and Gerry Talaoc.

That same year DeZuniga collaborated with writer John Albano to create Jonah Hex, the disfigured Western antihero with whom the artist is so closely associated. “[John] asked me to draw the concept for the character, and one day I was at the doctor’s office and I saw this chart with a man, showing him half muscle and half skeleton,” DeZuniga recalled in a 2010 interview with Comic Book Resources. “I thought to myself, ‘This is neat,’ and I got the concept. When John Albano saw it, he was very happy.”

Although perhaps best remembered for his work on DC’s Jonah Hex, Arak, Son of Thunder, The Phantom Stranger and Weird Western Tales, he also drew Dracula Lives, The Savage Sword of Conan and Thor for Marvel.

“He was, and still is a huge inspiration,” cartoonist Gerry Alanguilan wrote on his website. “I’m not exactly a very young man anymore, but whenever I think of Mang Tony, who was still active and still pushing his artistic boundaries well into his 70′s, it was terribly, terribly inspiring. I wish I could be as active and creative when I reach his age. Now that he’s gone, I have no doubt that he will continue to inspire us. And while our conventions may seem empty now without him, as if something would always be missing, his memory will help keep us going, and keep us making comics.”

DeZuniga returned to Jonah Hex in 2010 with No Way Back, a 136-page graphic novel written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, and released to coincide with the character’s big-screen debut.

“I really enjoyed doing Jonah Hex again,” he told CBR at the time, before expressing his distaste for the way the character has been depicted in more recent years. “I have seen the new comics, and I am not too happy with some of the artists making him [more like] Clint Eastwood; exaggerating the scars; wrong hats,” he said. “See, small things are important in a character. That’s always a part of making it whole.”

Lifetime orders Whitney Houston family reality show -- too ghoulish?

Lifetime has ordered a reality show following Whitney Houston’s family in the wake of the pop singer’s death.

The Houston Family Chronicles promises to follow “those closest to the pop music icon as they try to pick up the pieces after her untimely death.” The project is focused around Whitney’s manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston and her husband, Whitney’s brother Gary, the couple’s daughter Rayah, Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina and her mother Cissy Houston. According to the release, the show will focus on Pat and Gary as they “take on their greatest challenge, supporting and guiding Bobbi Kristina as she faces the world alone, without the one person she relied on the most, her Mother.”

Pat Houston suggested in a statement that the project predates Houston’s death, though clearly the concept revolves around that fallout from her demise and it seems unlikely the show would have been ordered if Houston was still alive.

“I have been working with [producers] Simmons-Shelley over the past few years developing a project suitable for myself and our family,” Pat Houston said in a statement. “The unexpected passing of Whitney certainly affects the direction of the show. However, it is my hope that others will be enlightened as they watch our family heal and move forward.”

Happy Endings Renewed!

ABC has renewed Happy Endings for a third season consisting of 22 episodes.

The ensemble comedy received not one but two votes of confidence from ABC topper Paul Lee, when it scored the plum post-Modern Family time slot this season and landed an additional six-episode order in October.

The series, starring Casey Wilson,Zach Knighton, Elisha Cuthbert, Damon Wayans Jr., Eliza Coupe and Adam Pally, ranks as the network's No. 2 scripted comedy this season, with showrunner David Caspe telling THR that he was cautiously optimistic the critical darling would earn a third season renewal. "I’m probably not freaking out as much as I should," he said after the mid-April season finale.

The show joins previously renewed Modern Family, Suburgatory, The Middle and dramas Once Upon A Time, Grey’s Anatomy, Revenge, Castle, and reality series Dancing with the Stars, Shark Tank, The Bachelor, America's Funniest Home Videos and Wife Swap.

Adam Brody: "Sure. That'd be funny." on an O.C. reunion

What would Brody do if he found himself staring down the End Times? "Heroin? It appeals to me more than, like, skydiving. Maybe doing heroin while skydiving?" Or—IDEA TIME!—how about an O.C. reunion movie, à la Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas? "Sure. That'd be funny. Put that." Oral contract, Brody. Consider this shit notarized.

Josh Hutcherson has surgery on broken nose

We don't want to alarm all of you that call yourselves fans of Josh Hutcherson's nose, but there has been a bit of an incident. To be honest, we don't exactly know what this incident involved but we do know that it has resulted in the unthinkable; the Hutchster needing surgery to mend his broken schnozzle.

Casually dropping the groundbreaking news into a tweet to celeb pal Jennifer Love Hewitt, Josh said: "Just had surgery to fix my broken nose. recovery sucks..thank god for a marathon on lifetime..#theclientlist thanks @thereal_jlh." [sic]

Replying to the compliment, Jen said: "I'm so sorry you are hurt. Feel better. Thanks for the love!"

There's no clue yet as to how Josh went and broke his lovely nose, but having heard how much Jennifer Lawrence enjoyed giving him concussion when they were filming The Hunger Games, we can't help wondering whether she might have had a hand in all this.

If it was us, we have to say we'd probably be making the most of the situation and getting a bit creative. With the world of noses at his feet, Josh could totally go for anything from a Rudolph-esque comedy hooter to a Pinnochio style affair.

We're guessing the whole being a film star thing probably means he'll be sticking to the nose we all know and love though. Not that we're compaining, we're always happy to watch this video of him talking about The Hunger Games and that's mainly to bask in the reflected glory of his perfect schnozzle.

We have to say his conk looks pretty good there doesn't it? But what do you think of all this - do you think his rumoured girlfriend Ariana Grande will be rubbing it all better?

Speedy recovery to my beautiful prince!!!!

National Enquirer: Brad Pitt's Skinny Fetish

BRAD PITT likes his women THIN – scary skinny thin!

ANGELINA JOLIE has scared fans with her gaunt, skeletal figure – and it appears Brad Pitt is the architect of her frightening weight loss. The reigning Hollywood heartthrob prefers his ladies to be rail-thin, and he lets them know it, say insiders.

“Brad doesn’t come out and demand his women be skinny, but in a not-so-subtle manner, he drops hints,” revealed a close source. “If he’s constantly comparing his current girlfriend with his exes, it has to start making them feel self-conscious about their bodies.”

The  “Moneyball” star, 48, likes his women super-thin for their red-carpet appearances, says the close source.

When Angelina, 36, first met Brad on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in 2004, she weighed 115 pounds, which seemed healthy for her 5-foot-7 frame. “But now she’s wasting away at less than 100 pounds!” declared an insider.

Brad is also said to have hinted that Jennifer Aniston needed to drop a few pounds when they first started dating. “He used to talk to her about how thin and  fashionable his former girlfriends Juliette Lewis and Gwyneth Paltrow were,” said the close source. “It was a way to motivate her.” Jen lost the curves she used to show off on “Friends”and the 5-foot-5 1/2 actress dropped to a waifish 109 pounds. Today, Jen, 43, is dating actor/ screenwriter Justin Theroux and is a shapely 120 pounds.

When Brad dated Gwyneth Paltrow for three years in the 1990s, the 5-foot-9 stunner “always felt she was too heavy for him,” revealed the close source. In 1996, she shrunk down to a boney 101 pounds for the premiere of her film “Emma.” But today, as a working mom, “The Avengers” star, 39, looks fab at 120 pounds.

And “Natural Born Killers” babe Juliette Lewis, 38, who was with Brad from 1989 to 1993, boasts a killer 120-pound body. However, when the 5-foot-6 star dated Pitt, the close source says she was 15 pounds lighter and “all skin and bones.”

ABC has renewed freshman drama Scandal for a second season.

The network gave the Kerry Washington-Tony Goldwyn D.C.-set political fixer drama the plum post-Grey's Anatomy time slot where it has performed well in its limited run.

The Shonda Rhimes drama, which bumped the prolific showrunner's Private Practice from its longtime home on Thursday nights, has for the most part held on to its Grey's lead-in viewership. The seven-episode first season has been a format Rhimes has said she enjoys.

Jennifer Hudson's estranged brother-in-law is Guilty of the Triple Family Murders.

A US jury has convicted a man of murdering three members of actress Jennifer Hudson's family in 2008.

William Balfour, Ms Hudson's former brother-in-law, was found guilty on three counts of first-degree murder by the jury in Chicago.

Prosecutors said Balfour shot Ms Hudson's mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew after his estranged wife refused to reconcile with him.

Jennifer Hudson was overcome with tears as the verdict was read.

The Oscar-winning actress was the first witness called in the trial and had attended every day of testimony.

The jury deliberated for three days before delivering its verdict. Balfour, 31, now faces a mandatory life prison sentence.

He showed no emotion as the verdict was delivered. The jurors had earlier indicated they were split but continued to deliberate.

Defense lawyer Amy Thompson said she would appeal against the verdict.

"It has always been our position, and it still is, that William Balfour is innocent of these murders," she said.

At the time of the killings, Balfour was estranged from Ms Hudson's sister, Julia Hudson.

Prosecutors had to build an overwhelming circumstantial case against him as there were no surviving witnesses or fingerprints to link him to the crimes.

They said that when Julia Hudson left home for her job as a bus driver on the morning of 24 October 2008, Balfour went into the home and shot Ms Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, in the back, and then shot Jason Hudson, 29, twice in the head as he lay in bed.

Prosecutors said Balfour then drove off in Jason Hudson's car with Julia's son, Julian King, and shot the boy several times in the head as he lay behind a front seat.

The boy's body was found in the abandoned vehicle after a three-day search.

Balfour had denied all the charges. His defence lawyers had claimed the killings could have been related to alleged drug dealing by Ms Hudson's brother.

Ms Hudson, 30, a finalist on the 2004 series of American Idol, won an Oscar in 2007 for her supporting role in the musical Dreamgirls.

She also sang I Will Always Love You at the Grammy awards this year in memory of the late Whitney Houston.

In court she was accompanied by her longtime partner, professional wrestler David Otunga.

When she testified in April she said none of her family had wanted her sister to marry Balfour.

"We didn't like the way he treated her, and I didn't like the way he treated my nephew," she told the court.

That was close! ABC has renewed Private Practice and Body of Proof. Shonda Rhimes’ medical drama is coming back for a sixth round, while the procedural starring Dany Delany will return for a third season.

The Private Practice was mostly expected but not a sure thing. The medical soap was performing decently in its usual time period at 10 p.m. on Thursdays. But with ABC taking a leap of faith by renewing Rhimes’ new political drama Scandal, plus bringing back flagshipGrey’s Anatomy and ordering a host of new shows, ABC could use the post-Grey’s real estate on Thursdays to launch a freshman drama or give support to Scandal. When moved from Thursdays recently, Private’s ratings dropped off sharply, suggesting it might not be able to survive in the wild.

Private Practice has averaged 8.1 million viewers and a 3.0 rating this season. Body of Proofaveraged 9.9 million and a 2.1 rating.

So happy about Private Practice, ngl. And they didn't say anything about it being 13 episodes, so here's hoping it's a full season.

Lindsay Lohan Tipped For Oscar Glory

Woody Allen is adamant Lindsay Lohan is destined for Oscar glory.

The 76-year Manhattan director has been meeting with Lindsay, 25, in New York and sources close to Allen say he has been left in no doubt that the troubled former child star is back.

Woody and Lindsay have been friends for a while and he has always been very supportive of her,” says the source.

But the Lindsay he had dinner with the other night was different. She’s focused and full of drive.

“They talked about an idea to work together and Woody is very excited about what lies ahead for her. He’s saying that she’ll win an Oscar by the time she’s 30 if she even does half the things she set out to do.

The Duchess of Cambridge at London Olympic gala concert

On an evening out, she usually likes to let her hair down. But the Duchess of Cambridge raised the style stakes last night – opting for an intricate chignon instead.

The elegant knotted bun, put in place by a team from the Richard Ward salon in Chelsea, showed off the elaborate design of her teal Jenny Packham dress to full effect.

The tiny gems in the delicate lace across her back and shoulders shimmered as she arrived at a gala at the Royal Albert Hall to mark the countdown to the London Olympic Games.
