But a source said: Lily has been in the studio trying different sounds and writing new tracks. She's not at a stage where she can start recording but the new album is definitely under way and there's a chance it could be released early next year.
They added: "When Lily retired she honestly thought she'd never record again. But she started writing for the new Bridget Jones musical and that gave her the bug back. Her life has changed so much since her last album and she now has a different perspective. Lily wants a more mature sound and is penning tracks about [daughter] Ethel and [husband] Sam."
Lily Allen released her last studio album, 'It's Not Me, It's You', in 2009. She gave birth to her and her husband Sam Cooper's first child, Ethel Mary, in November last year and also recently turned her hand to running a London fashion store, Lucy In Disguise, while her songs for the new musical version of Bridget Jones' Diary, are set to be heard this year.
Featured on MSN, Yahoo, Mashable, Reddit, Flickr, Tumblr and more, meet viral internet star "Ridiculously Photogenic Guy" Zeddie Little.
Ridiculously Photogenic Guy (RPG) is a new photoshop meme and advice animal featuring a photo of a smiling man running in the 2012 Cooper River Bridge Run.
The photo recently gained notoriety online after being posted to the social news website Reddit where users found the man to be exceptionally handsome.
The day after the image was posted to Reddit, the man in the photo was identified as 25-year-old New York resident Zeddie Little by the Charleston City Paper. He has a Twitter account & a maxed-out Facebook page. He is currently trying to break into the PR business in New York and has a girlfriend of five years.
He can cook, has a college degree and appears to have a bright future ahead of him. According to the Charleston City Paper, Zeddie Little met his girlfriend in 2007 whilst working at a pizza restaurant in his home town of Charleston, South Carolina. The pair moved to New York last spring and he worked several restaurant jobs while doing internships.
On Wednesday, the very day he landed his first permanent job with a music PR company in the city, he became famous on the Internet. He graduated in 2009 with a BA in arts in communications but during his studies he worked at the EVO Pizzeria in North Charleston.
Ty Burrell and wife Holly have adopted a baby daughter, bringing the number of girls in their "Modern Family" to two.
Beyond the fact that the adoption happened, which the Burrells' rep confirmed to People, there aren't any more details out there for now, so fans of baby names will have to wait to weigh in on Baby Burrell's moniker.
Don't expect anything too wacky, however: The couple's first girl, adopted in 2010 when she was 6 months old, goes by Frances.
"I am just in complete denial that she'll ever be over 13," actor Burrell told Us Weekly at the Paley Center for Media's PaleyFest in Beverly Hills, talking about little Frances. "She's so cute. She's getting cuter every moment. I'm in a very blissful period with her."
Make that bliss times two, Daddy-O.

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Simms (formerly Leah Messer) is now Leah Calvert (we would assume) after marrying her fiance Jeremy Calvert in a small family ceremony in Catlettsburg, Kentucky on Wednesday. MTV cameras were reportedly rolling as Leah and Jeremy were married by Rev. Marty Gute at the Catlettsburg Wedding Chapel with approximately 15-20 in attendance, including Leah’s twin daughters Aliannah and Aleeah. Leah is also pregnant with her third child, assumed to be Calvert's. (No word if Corey Simms was in attendance.)
Gute tells The Independent Online that he received a call from MTV producers on Tuesday asking him to sign a waiver allowing production crews to film in the chapel. “When I asked what was going on, they said it was for the Leah Simms wedding, and that name didn’t ring a bell at first,” Gute said. But when he mentioned it to his wife and daughter, they knew exactly who he was talking about.
According to Gute, camera crews followed Leah and Jeremy as they got their marriage license at the Boyd County Courthouse and then purchased their rings. The ring purchases were held up for some reason, delaying the ceremony about 90 minutes from its scheduled 3PM start.
“I think they wanted to keep it out of the news, but the producer said he knew it would hit Facebook soon,” Gute said. “He asked my daughter not to tweet about it, though.”
All has been quiet on the Messer Twitter front with only this little interaction the day after the wedding between Jeremy and Leah, which in retrospect looks a bit like an inside joke:
Here’s a photo of the Catlettsburg Wedding Chapel from their website:
I personally don't even care for this cast of Teen Mom outside of Janelle and Kieffer's druggie relationship and Barbara's legendary blackout rages, but somebody does, hence the post.

Following the huge success of “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax,” where she voiced one of the characters, Taylor Swift is mapping out her movie career. Taylor told us that she had been reading scripts in recent years and looking out for roles that she could be passionate about and which could be worth taking a break (from her hectic music career schedule) for.
Who among today’s actors do you look up to?
Jennifer Lawrence is my favorite, and Emma Stone is one of my best friends. We’ve been best friends since we were 17.
Daniel Day-Lewis is so impressive, but I also love how, when Will Smith does something, everyone stands at attention. He’s made such brilliant decisions. He’s so charismatic.
What is it like when you, Emma Stone, and your other friends get together?
I cook and Emma bakes. Those are our specialties. We just talk about our lives. That’s how I feel when I’m with friends that I’ve had for years. Those are the people that I can just rant to. These are the people who know me the best. It’s crazy with all of my friends having such busy schedules and me always being gone. When you do see your friends, you value the time with them.

CBS News legend Mike Wallace, the 60 Minutes' pit-bull reporter whose probing, brazen style made his name synonymous with the tough interview -- a style he practically invented for television more than half a century ago -- died last night. He was 93 and passed peacefully surrounded by family members at Waveny Care Center in New Canaan, Conn., where he spent the past few years. He also had a home in Manhattan.
"It is with tremendous sadness that we mark the passing of Mike Wallace. His extraordinary contribution as a broadcaster is immeasurable and he has been a force within the television industry throughout its existence. His loss will be felt by all of us at CBS," said Leslie Moonves, president and CEO, CBS Corporation.
"All of us at CBS News and particularly at 60 Minutes owe so much to Mike. Without him and his iconic style, there probably wouldn't be a 60 Minutes. There simply hasn't been another broadcast journalist with that much talent. It almost didn't matter what stories he was covering, you just wanted to hear what he would ask next. Around CBS he was the same infectious, funny and ferocious person as he was on TV. We loved him and we will miss him very much," said Jeff Fager, chairman CBSNews and executive producer of 60 Minutes.
A special program dedicated to Wallace will be broadcast on 60 Minutes next Sunday, April 15.

CINCINNATI - Josh Hutcherson threw out the ceremonial first pitch on Opening Night on Saturday before the Reds took on the Miami Marlins.
The native of nearby Union, Ky. is one of the stars of the hit movie "The Hunger Games."
Hutcherson had a few minutes of last minute pitching advice from Mr. Red and Mr. Redlegs, as well as from Brandon Phillips, who caught the pitch.
"It's kind of intimidating," he said in an interview with 9 News. "I've been practicing. I practiced last night. I just threw a few pitches now. I'm feeling pretty good about it. I just want to get it across the plate and not bounce it. That's all I want to do."
He said he watched the video of Mayor Mallory's infamous 2007 pitch a few nights ago to build up his confidence.
Unfortunately, the odds were not ever in his favor on Saturday night, and Hutcherson bounched the pitch before it hit home plate where Phillips was waiting.
Still, the crowd cheered, and girls swarmed the stands near home plate to catch a glimpse and take a picture of the star.
Some even held up signs asking him to prom.
When asked about his new fame, he said he just wanted to make a good movie.
"The fact that I got to make it was enough for me, but on top of that, everybody went and saw it and that's all I could ever ask for," Hutcherson said. "That's pretty incredible."
Hutcherson confirmed there will be a sequel to "The Hunger Games," named after the second book in the trilogy by Suzanne Collins, "Catching Fire."
"They're writing the script right now, and just trying to figure out where they're going to shoot it, and get the script nailed down first," he said. "It's probably some time this fall we'll start shooting it."
He's trying not to let fame go to his head.
"I think that I keep myself surrounded by the same people," he said. "Always have. My family and friends. I don't think it's going to change too much."
Hutcherson still visits the Tri-State area frequently to see his family and friends, including his brother Connor.
He admitted you might just catch him walking down the streets in Cincinnati soon.

Lindsay Lohan has been off formal probation for less than two weeks and she's already being accused of getting into an altercation with a woman in a nightclub earlier this week ... TMZ has learned.
According to our sources, a woman filed an incident report ALLEGING BATTERY with the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department last night. We're told the woman claims Lindsay got into it with her at a nightclub on Thursday night. She claims Lindsay did not like the fact she was talking to a male friend of LiLo's.
Law enforcement sources say they will investigate the woman's claims -- like they would any other incident like this -- to determine their validity.
Lindsay's rep, Steve Honig, tells TMZ, "Lindsay was absolutely not involved in any sort of altercation whatsoever. This is clearly another case of someone looking for money and 15 minutes of fame."

Pam Grier is looking to turn her life story into a movie, reports EURweb.
The Black Women in Hollywood honoree is said to be working with Imprint Entertainment to create a biopic based off her 2010 autobiography, Fox: My Life in Three Acts.
Michael Becker of Imprint Entertainment said, "Foxy succeeds at a stark impression of Grier's courage and inner strength without the use of rose-colored glasses. Imprint Entertainment looks forward to bringing this triumphant story to life."
Thus far, TV producer and screenwriter, Eunetta Boone, has signed up to write the screenplay. And as for who should play Grier? She reportedly wants Halle Berry.
But we asked fans on Facebook who should take on the role and over 1,000 of you replied with your picks. "LisaRay McCoy, she is sassy, smart and beautiful," wrote Derricka Thomas. "Gabrielle Union or Lauren London," Pamela Lassiter chimed in.
However, Beyonce and Taraji P. Henson stole the show. Their names overwhelmingly dominated the conversation as most fans picked them as their top choices.
...Beyonce and Lauren London though? Really?

Film debut was scary: Rihanna
Rihanna, who has sold over 60 million records, has confessed that working on her first movie was “scary” and “nerve-wracking”. The singer makes her acting debut in soon-to-be-released sci-fi adventure Battleship that also stars Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch and Brooklyn Decker. The chart-topping star said that she was nervous in the months leading up to the shoot which got worse when she arrived on set on the first day, Sky News reported.
She was “blown away” with the scale of the production, saying that it was just “huge, with so many people and cameras. “You get really nervous. It was scary, it’s a world I have never been a part of,” she added.
The pop star dons the role of a US marine in the film, which is loosely based on the board game of the same name. Known for her flamboyant outfits on stage, the 24-year-old revealed that she loved coming to work daily and did not think about what she was wearing. She insisted that she would wear a uniform every day if she could. The film is directed by Peter Berg, who pointed out that a number of pop stars have made the transition from music to film and cited Whitney Houston as one of the best examples.
However, Rihanna maintained that she loves music too much to give it up completely for acting.

Almost nowhere is this more evident than in "The Borgias," Showtime's dramatic imagining of Italy's notorious Borgia family, who exist in the Renaissance-era but rule like it's still Medieval times. The series returns this Sunday, April at 10 p.m. ET/PT for a second season of violence, corruption and juicy entertainment.
Of course, if one looks deep into TV's archives, "Borgias" is far from alone when it comes to scenarios and characters that exist in that unwieldy period between the 5th and 15th centuries. Whether it's HBO's mammoth "Game of Thrones" saga or a group of cuddly blue cartoons called "The Smurfs," here are 11 dramas, adventures, fantasy epics and, yes, even Saturday morning favorites that captured the sorcery, pageantry and volatility of early to mid-A.D.

Leonardo DiCaprio has a new interview with The Sun. It’s one of those bizarrely-written pieces that The Sun is getting famous for – like, they just accumulate all of the quotes from a celebrity in an interview, and put it together like a first-person essay. I only hooked onto this piece because Leo is kind of making his dude-issues front and center. Meaning that he spends a lot of time talking about the main woman in his life: his momma. Now, I don’t hate momma’s boys as a general rule. And Leo does detail his mother’s lifelong struggles and why she’s the main woman in his life, and some of it is rather sweet. But he also talks about girlfriends and what “turns him on” in a woman, and it becomes increasingly clear that Leo isn’t going to be settling down any time soon, and why would he? He will never find a woman as awesome as his mom. Maybe he doesn’t realize it?( Collapse )

With Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises set for release in just a few months, it seems like the film is nearing the finish line, with reports that it’s been given a PG-13 rating from the MPAA. As most of you remember, The Dark Knight was rated PG-13, so it’s no surprise the sequel would also have this rating. To those wondering how Nolan could be close to completion, you’ve got to factor in the release schedule for The Dark Knight Rises. Unlike some films that get released in North America and then months later around the world, Warner Bros. has set up a massive worldwide campaign with 35 territories getting the film between July 19 and July 28, including the United States, Japan, Australia, Europe and every major country in between. While a lot of box office records have been broken in the last year, I think it’s safe to assume The Dark Knight Rises is going to take them all back.

Long-suffering readers will have read many times about my dislike of lists, especially lists of the best or worst movies in this or that category. For years they had value only in the minds of feature editors fretting that their movie critics had too much free time. ("For Thursday's food section, can you list the 10 funniest movies about pumpkin pie?") Now their value has shot way up with the use of slide shows, a diabolical time-waster designed to boost a web site's page visits.

Rah Digga is speaking out after Tyler repeatedly taunted her on Twitter saying "Happy Fathers Day." Prior to that the Creator was under a bit of fire for calling out MC Lyte on wax.
"See these girls talkin' all that s--t (What?)/I'm just tryna see some t--s (What?)/," Tyler raps on "Rella" off the new Odd Future album. "Let's get it poppin' like, MC Lyte, around some dykes/I'm, out this b---h like hocus pocus/And me and Lucas got a couple of pickles."
Following the release of the album MC Lyte responded expressing her anger over Tylers bars.
"Yeah, I definitely was insulted. First off, it's totally new school" Lyte told website hiphopdx.com. "[Tyler] has yet to understand -- although he can have quite a bit of followers and fans, it does take a moment from one's entry in the business for them to really understand what it is that we do for other people. And how we inspire them, and how we influence them, and how we can literally make or break another human being's day. And with all that I've done throughout my years in inspiring generations of people, I think it very irresponsible of him. With saying that, we do have a generation that is quite irresponsible when it comes to what it is that they'll say [and] their behavior. [But still], it took me by surprise. With black women filling the roles of executive producer (Rhimes), producer (Smith) and lead actress (Washington), Scandal, even before its premiere last night, has brought a whiff of optimism to African-American women in entertainment.
It will be easier to have more faith in Hollywood's relationship with black POC in general actresses once Hollywood shows it's committed to that relationship. It will be easier when black POC in general actresses become more visible in roles across the spectrum, (think fantasy hits like Harry Potter, or romantic dramas like The Notebook) and not just ones that call for an African-American female.
It would be nice, too, to see more unknown black ingenues suddenly become household names thanks to a hit show or film, much like Jennifer Lawrence in Winter's Bone, Kristin Stewart in Twilight or Rooney Mara in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Surely there is a young brown face out there who can draw America's fascination in the same way, given the right script and a good PR push. It wouldn't hurt either to see a brown face included in Vanity Fair's annual (and consistently overwhelmingly white) Hollywood cover.
