Curly Sue Star Alisan Porter Gets Married

Curly Sue is all grown up – and married!

Alisan Porter, a singer-songwriter and actress – best known as the star of 1991's Curly Sue, directed by the late John Hughes, alongside Jim Belushi and Kelly Lynch – tied the knot Saturday with husband Brian Autenrieth, PEOPLE exclusively confirms.

"We've been friends for 13 years and it's the most incredible feeling to know you're marrying your best friend," Porter tells PEOPLE.

Porter, 30, and Autenrieth, 33, exchanged vows at Diablo Dormido, a historic California ranch nestled in the Santa Monica mountains, in front of 100 guests.

The bride wore a custom vintage-inspired R-Mine lace dress and bridesmaids wore The Alisan dress, custom created for the occasion by Shareen Vintage.

A reception and dinner followed. The bride and groom danced their first dance to Frank Sinatra's "The Second Time Around," very fitting for the pair, who first dated when Porter was 18 but went their separate ways before reuniting.

The couple, are also expecting their first child together, a boy, in July.

Porter, who appeared on Broadway in Footloose and A Chorus Line, currently lives in Los Angeles.

Hey Jude, Need Some Attention?

Jude Law, 39, and his rumored new girlfriend Ruth Wilson headed out in Venice Beach on Sunday, shopping and lunching and doing normal couple-y things.

But it's Law's hoodie that we can't take our eyes off of, mostly because there's a lot happening here. First, what appears to be a marijuana leaf and the slogan "adios," and some random Girl Scout-esque badges.

The back is emblazoned with "PEACE... CREATE POSITIVE IMAGE" and two jolly red smiley faces.

Exclusive: Iggy Azalea Clarifies ‘Runaway Slave Master’ Lyric

Iggy Azalea has been on the minds (and lips) of several of the hottest blogs and magazine editors. Her stock went even higher once she was named XXL’s only female for this year’s Freshman Class. An additional head nod came through from fans when she aligned herself with The KAAANG for the production of her first album slated to drop this year.

But with so much press, there comes controversy.

Immediately after Iggy was announced XXL’s first, Azealia Banks took to her Twitter page to express her dismay about the decision to feature her in the magazine with all considered.

Azealia is referring to Iggy’s song, D.R.U.G.S, where she throws out the following verse:

…tire marks, tire marks. Finish line with the fire marks. When the relay starts, I’m a runaway slave….master. Sh-ttin’ on the past, gotta spit it like a pastor….

J-Law on 'X-Men: First Class' sequel: "If they write me in, I'm in"

After becoming the second-youngest actress ever to receive an Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her performance in the gritty 2010 indie "Winter's Bone", 21-year-old Jennifer Lawrence took full advantage of her new-found notoriety by signing on to star as Mystique in the Matthew Vaughn-directed superhero prequel "X-Men: First Class" in 2011. So with her participation in the "Hunger Games" sequel "Catch A Fire" [lol] all but a done deal at this point (let's face it, that film is getting made), will Lawrence also reprise her role in the "First Class" sequel now being penned by "Last Stand" writer Simon Kinberg and with Vaughn once again attached at the helm? The choice isn't exactly up to her at this point, though she's certainly game for a return.

Erotic Novel You Read About In The NYT Started Out As Twilight Fan Fiction

Fifty Shades of Grey, the erotic novel that has risen to the top of the NYT and Amazon bestseller lists primarily through word of mouth, started out as a piece of Twilight fan fiction posted in full on

“Fifty Shades of Grey” and the two other titles in the series were written by a British author named E L James, a former television executive who began the trilogy by posting fan fiction online. The books, which were released in the last year, center on the lives (and affection for whips, chains and handcuffs) of Christian Grey, a rich, handsome tycoon, and Anastasia Steele, an innocent college student, who enter into a dominant-submissive relationship. The narrative is built on the purple prose typical of pulp novels, with lines like, “My inner goddess is doing the dance of the seven veils.”

Madonna Talks Adele, M.I.A, Music, and Whitney Houston & Amy Winehouse's Death

In her three-decade reign as the undisputed queen of pop, Madonna has never shied away from controversy.

And she has lost none of her appetite for a good verbal scrap — as she demonstrated when she sprang to the defence of Brit star Adele after Karl Lagerfeld called her "too fat".

In Day Two of an exclusive interview with The Sun, Madonna branded the legendary fashion designer's comments "horrible" and "ridiculous".

Last month, the eccentric Chanel designer claimed Tottenham-born Adele was "a little too fat" when he guest-edited a French magazine.

But Madonna, 53, stuck up for the Grammy-winner, hitting back: "That's horrible. That's ridiculous, that's just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

"I don't like it when anybody says anything bad about anyone — I don't like it. Adele's a great talent and how much she weighs has nothing to do with it."

Madonna, who has won seven Grammys and two Brit awards, explained how she has sustained a career in music spanning more than a quarter of a century — and said it is decent advice for Adele, 23, to stay on the right track.

Chinese Copycat Movie Posters

Inspiration or Plagiarism?

It is not an easy task to design an original and creative movie poster.

Given the number of movies in existence, no matter what is put into a movie poster, it probably has already been used somewhere else.

We reveal the film posters for scores of movies made in the U.S. and elsewhere that have been changed ever-so-slightly and used to promote Chinese films. It's pretty amusing to see how schmaltzy, second-rate American movies like Valentine’s Day or Daddy Day Camp have been employed to Chinese films.

Here are a few of the films paired with their Chinese equivalents. Paging Christopher Dodd, here's a problem not even SOPA will fix.

In "LOL" News: Kristen Stewart to be featured as an ice sculpture at Madame Tussauds

Twilight's Bella Swan has become a real "cold skin" as she takes her place alongside other stars of the vampire films at Madame Tussauds.

Actress Kristen Stewart has been sculpted in ice to stand next to figures of her real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen, and Taylor Lautner aka Jacob Black.
It is the first ice sculpture to be displayed at the London attraction and marks the DVD release of the latest Twilight film, Breaking Dawn - Part 1 in which Bella is frozen in time by becoming immortal.

But unlike her screen persona, Stewart's figure will have a finite life and will be on display for just two days.

Pattinson's figure has already been popular and Lautner was added recently at the suggestion of visitors.

Tussauds model-maker Roger Mackay has been putting the finishing touches to the sculpture. The DVD of Breaking Dawn - Part 1 has just been released.

'The Godfather' hits 40

5 ways Coppola's masterpiece changed movies forever

Leave the gun, take the cannoli, and make movie history:

Forty years ago this week, “The Godfather” opened.

And Francis Coppola’s masterpiece crime drama is still able to wrap you in a kiss-on-each-cheek embrace no film can match.

It’s rare for any piece of art to both comfort and energize us at the same time. But “The Godfather” is in our blood; its first line may be “I believe in America,” but it’s hard to find an American who doesn’t believe in the cinematic supremacy of the Corleones.

The stories of its production are well-documented. Here are 5 ways it changed the movies:

'I Am Bruce Lee' sets Spike TV ratings record for documentaries

Wednesday's airing of "I Am Bruce Lee" shattered a Spike TV ratings record for documentaries.

Spike TV officials today told ( the two-hour featured presentation averaged a healthy 1.0 household rating and 1.4 million viewers on the cable station.

The well-reviewed documentary focuses on the legendary Bruce Lee, a cultural icon and seminal figure in the history of martial arts.

The previous record was held by "Facing Ali," a film on boxing legend Muhammad Ali that drew 860,000 Spike TV viewers in 2009.

"I Am Bruce Lee," which made its worldwide television debut with the Spike TV airing, includes interviews with the likes of UFC president Dana White and MMA fighters Stephan Bonnar, Jon Jones, Cung Le and Gina Carano.

Before an untimely death in 1973 at just 32 years old, Lee entertained as a martial-arts instructor, actor and producer, which earned him the nickname the "Father of Martial Arts Cinema." He also founded the Jeet Kune Do martial-arts and life-philosophy movement, which inspired many current MMA fighters.

Spike TV airs a replay of "I Am Bruce Lee" on Monday at 12:30 a.m. ET/PT.

Jonah Hill flops! SNL's ratings drop drastically post-Lohan

The verdict is in: Funnyman Jonah Hill's turn as host on “Saturday Night Live” wasn't received as poorly as last week's criticized episode with Lindsay Lohan, but he couldn't match her ratings.

New York Magazine's Vulture notes that Hill has some qualities that "make for the perfect 'SNL' host," namely his comedy experience and the fact that he's hosted before.

Given those attributes, Vulture can't figure out why Hill's second time at bat for "SNL," which included sketches about the Oscars, a Japanese game show and a parody of Rush Limbaugh, "was so blah."

The Huffington Post agrees, saying that Hill's turn as host was "off." There was something amiss, leading to not a single "must-see" sketch.

Entertainment Weekly adds that while Hill's performance wasn't the worst, it just might've benefited from having the Lohan episode on the week prior. Without it, the Oscar nominee would possibly be "catching far more heat"... Jonah Hill is a gifted comic actor, but unfortunately his talents couldn't transcend the mixed bag of material during this week's 'SNL.'"

The ratings weren't laudatory, either. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “21 Jump Street” star - who was joined on the episode by venerable actor Tom Hanks and indie rock band The Shins - failed to top the ratings achieved by Lohan the previous week.

In fact, they slipped 21 percent - with Hill’s turn averaging a 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demo, with a 4.3 rating overall.

Lohan’s, on the other hand, boasted a 5.5 rating in metered households.

"SNL" will be off for a few weeks, but "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara will serve as host of the April 7th episode with musical guest One Direction.

Bishop Vibert Lowe told press, “A lot of people have been praying for her and hoping that she will drop these bad habits. We feel it’s wrong for her to behave like this. As a young lady she’s not setting a good example. Young people look to her as a mentor, they regard her as an idol and copy her lifestyle. There are people on the island who think she parties way too hard.”

'Once Upon A Time': Jennifer Morrison Teases What's To Come For Emma

Jennifer Morrison

As "
Once Upon a Time" nears its first season finale, it seems like Evil is kind of kicking Good's ass in the fairytale drama. McCain staffers endorse HBO's "Game Change"

Over the course of Game Change, Steve Schmidt's arc moves him from assertive and cocksure to worried and then completely panicked and hopeless over the vice presidential candidacy -- and erratic behavior -- of an untested YouTube-scouted Alaskan governor named Sarah Palin. And while yes, it's Woody Harrelson, not the actual Schmidt, on screen in HBO's election drama, the real life Republican strategist and former adviser to John McCain's presidential campaign says that the film is true to the real life story.

“I think it was very accurate,” Schmidt told the hosts of Morning Joe on Monday. “For all of us in the campaign, it really rang true. It gave you a little bit of PTSD at times. It did for me.
But, look, I think it’s a story of when cynicism and idealism collide. When you have to do things necessary to win, to try to get in office to do the great things you want to do for the country and I think it showed a process of vetting that was debilitated by secrecy, that was compartmentalized, that failed, that led to a result that was reckless for the country."

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Dance to Rihanna at Make It Right Event

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Brad Pitt had serious reasons for being in New Orleans this weekend, but he made sure everyone had a good time, too.

At the annual Make It Right fundraiser, held inside the Hyatt Regency Hotel Saturday, about 1,200 guests paid between $1,000 and $2,500 to mingle with stars like Ellen DeGeneres, Sean Penn and Kevin Spacey. The event raised money for low-income housing in the city's Lower 9th Ward.

"The highlight of the night was the music," New Orleans resident and partygoer Melba Leggett Barnes tells Us Weekly.

Though Sheryl Crow, Kanye West and Snoop Dogg all performed that evening, it was Rihanna, 24, who really "got the place rocking," Leggett Barnes says. "She invited a lot of people on to the stage with her. Everyone was having a really great time and dancing the night away, including Brad and Angelina [Jolie]."

Lena Katina and Dave Aude are releasing remix album - today!

This post is for Lena Katina lovers :-)

Dave Audé has set his standards at the highest level and he's not in the mood to lower them when he takes the controls for his own productions. Teaming up here with t.A.T.u.'s Lena Katina, herself no stranger to success, the duo craft a fine piece of slick, hook-heavy electronic pop-dance that's as much about the song and the vocal as the more base business of moving feet on the dance floor.

Audé's glossy, definitive original is augmented by Jeremy Wood's more clubby take and Loud Manners, who play up the freestyle elements with some 80's flourishes, before Sharooz takes out his box of tricks for the dark, dirty and deep into the night version.

This week "Never Forget" remixed by Dave Aude enters Billboard Club&Dance TOP 30 at #28!

even MORE people are suing Alexander Wang & his sweatshop

A second worker from Alexander Wang has come forward claiming that conditions at the design label's Chinatown factory are 'inhumane'. Flor Duante, 48, says she was forced to work 90 hours a week in the 'sweatshop' on Manhattan's Broadway.

The single mother-of-three today added her name to a Queens Supreme Court lawsuit that was last week filed by Wenyu Lu. The New York Post reports that the former employees were both fired after attempting to claim for worker's compensation. Though representatives today could not be reached for comment, the high-end design house last week vowed to fight the $450million lawsuit filed against the company by the ex-factory worker.

A company spokesman told the fashion newspaper: 'The company takes its obligations to comply with the law very seriously, including the relevant wage and hour regulations, the payment of overtime to eligible employees and having a safe working environment for all of our employees. We will vehemently defend any allegations to the contrary.'

Stephen Hawking to guest star on The Big Bang Theory

CBS' The Big Bang Theory can check off another guest star perfectly suited to the nerdy comedy.

Theoretical physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking will guest star on the April 5 episode of the geeky comedy, the network announced Monday.

The renowned brainiac has been a frequent target for the series about four lovable science nerds, with the Chuck Lorre/Bill Prady series first making a nod to the guys' Hawking hero worship in the pilot.

Subsequent references have included Leonard (Johnny Galecki) impersonating a colleague's Hawking impersonation on the phone and, most notably, during Big Bang's fourth season, Jim Parsons' Sheldon is notoriously tricked into going to the airport in the middle of the night to meet him.

"When people would ask us who a 'dream guest star' for the show would be, we would always joke and say Stephen Hawking -- knowing that it was a long shot of astronomical proportions," Prady said in a statement announcing the news. "In fact, we’re not exactly sure how we got him. It’s the kind of mystery that could only be understood by, say, a Stephen Hawking."

The Hawking casting comes mere weeks after the Thursday night series added dream guest star Leonard Nimoy -- another of Sheldon's famed heroes -- to its ranks for a unique guest gig in which the voice of Spock comes to Sheldon in his dreams.

The series also featured astronaut Mike Massimino in a cameo as himself earlier this season.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.

(I find it funny how the article just says that Leonard impersonated Stephen Hawking "on the phone" but they leave out the fact that he was rudely making fun of what Stephen Hawking would sound like having phone sex.)

Die Antwoord is not a fan of Gaga

Die Antwoord is a hip hop/pop/elector group hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, and they are the real deal. MTV News had a rare opportunity to chat with the band about their music and sound, getting dropped by their record label and turning down a tour with "shitty" Lady Gaga.

"Our stuff is like f*cking hardcore like solid heavyweight! We want it to be like a secret mind-f*ck! People are like what the f*ck is this the first time they hear it. We like making pop music, but we like making hardcore music at the same time, mixing them, but they've got, like, soul. It's not like weak, superficial sh*t. You know?" says lead singer Ninja (real name Watkin Tudor Jones).

Although the band was signed to Interscope Records, they left the label after they claim the executives tried to turn them into something they were not, in the vein of "shitty" artists like "Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas".

"I think they though we were just like a weird, strange act, then like 'Let's just let them have their fun for a while, and then when it comes to their second album we'll have them play games'". says Ninja, clearly hitting a nerve. "They were looking at Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas and that type of shitty pop music, and were thinking we could like twist into that."

So, the band wouldn't call themselves fans of Mother Monster, then?

"Lady Gaga asked us to tour with her and we were like, um, no thanks." source

they are not worthy of being on Gaga's tour anyways

My flawless lady is figuring out communication in relationships

Scarlett Johansson: Communication Is Important

Scarlett Johansson thinks seeking advice and not trying to figure out problems alone is vital to make relationships work.

Scarlett Johansson thinks seeking advice is vital to make relationships work.
The 'We Bought A Zoo' actress - who has been romantically linked with actors Sean Penn (that one who shall not be named) and Bradley Cooper (lol) since splitting from Ryan Reynolds after two years of marriage in December 2010 - believes "communication" is essential and has learned that she doesn't have to figure out problems by herself.

She said: "I have learnt that communication is the most valuable part of a relationship. Being truthful to yourself and to your partner and, when you have a problem, getting to the root of it.

I think people are secretive by nature. I like to try to work things out on my own and I am not used to seeking out advice. But when you&'re in a relationship, just realising that you don't have to take care of everything is important."

The 27-year-old actress also admitted she would love to have children one day but is currently too focused on her work to consider putting her personal life first.

Asked if she finds it hard balancing professional and personal commitments, she told You magazine: "I'm still looking for that balance. Half of my heart belongs to my work. I think that probably changes when you have children. At some point I'd like to have kids. I am nowhere near that now, though. I have too much to do."

Scarlett is currently dating 37-year-old ad exec Nate Naylor.

this makes me wonder that she was really not ready for marriage back then and i'm happy to know that she's learning from her mistakes
