Rap Group LMFAO Sells “Erotic Ghetto Chaos” to America’s Children
“Partying” has become a common refrain among young people today. They take the word to mean individuality, an ineffable freedom to express oneself and a testament to their enjoyment of life. How tragic is it, then, that these youths will grow up one day to realize the horrific consequences of their actions. From gonorrhea to marihuana addiction, from social ostracism to abject poverty, so many insurmountable challenges await. For now, one mindless urban music group profits scandalously by pumping out anthems to this foul lifestyle. Their name is LMFAO.
LMFAO is composed of two young men who stomp and shout their way all across YouTube. They do not sing, but rather yell harshly in a hip-hop slang beyond the comprehension of most. They do not dance, but rather bang their feet like inner city looters breaking into a Korean deli. They do not smile, but rather leer lustily at the gullibility of their sex-crazed fans. Where are the musical instruments? There are no instruments!
These are men hell-bent on corrupting our innocent children and their rewards are paid out in ounces, if not pounds, of warm, quivering teen flesh.

Gorgeous women win Oscars all time (Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman), but when handsome studs come close to victory, they usually get slapped down by the geezer guys who constitute the biggest voting bloc within the academy. It's official – Drew Barrymore is a bride-to-be.
With news that she's set to wed Will Kopelman breaking earlier Thursday, the star's rep confirms the news to PEOPLE and shares a sun-soaked engagement photo of the pair.
At center stage? Barrymore's wide smile and that sparkler – a radiant-cut diamond, just under 4 carats, set on a diamond-covered band – designed by Graff and given to her over the holidays by her art consultant beau in Sun Valley, Idaho.
Barrymore, 36, has been linked to Kopelman since February 2011.

How do you lure Billy Crystal back to the Oscar show?
Obviously, you send Megan Fox.
The Academy Awards have premiered a star-studded and very promising trailer for the coming show, with Fox reuniting with her Transformers co-star Josh Duhamel to track down the elusive City Slickers star. The commercial is set up as a trailer not for an awards show, but for a summertime action-adventure blockbuster. It’s a good start, and let’s hope producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer keep up this spirit for the Feb. 26 telecast.
Keep an eye peeled in the ad for Vinnie Jones, a nearly unrecognizable Robin Williams, and Grazer lookalike William Fichtner, who at first seems to be playing some sort of government bureaucrat. But, c’mon — the “oh-God-you-startled-me!” haircut makes him a very clever stand-in for the A Beautiful Mind producer.

SANTA FE, NM—In the wake of last year's highly successful publication of the fifth installment in his A Song Of Ice And Fire series, author George R.R. Martin assured fans Tuesday the final two books in the fantasy saga would be "complete turds." "For starters, there'll be no mention of the dragons at all, because I'm pretty much sick of writing about dragons at this point," said Martin, who added he would also be introducing an entirely new storyline set on a completely different continent and featuring a cast of at least 50 new characters all vying for the same throne. "And I'm going to take even longer to write these last two, at least a decade each. Who knows if I'll even be alive to finish them? Who cares? My son knows how to spell most of the characters' names, so maybe I'll let him wrap the whole thing up." Martin said that while he didn't want to give too much away, he was certainly going to kill off Tyrion and never resurrect him, because "that fucking dwarf" was annoying the shit out of him.
Its look has changed a bit in the past 50 years, but the house where Holly Golightly lived in Breakfast at Tiffany's is 169 East 71st Street. The four-story townhouse currently belongs to Peter Bacanovic, a management consultant and former Merrill Lynch broker who was sentenced to some jail time in Martha Stewart's insider trading case, who purchased it for $1.88 million in 2008. But he's ready to sell: the Times reports the property has just come on the market for $5.85 million. It will require some work for the aspiring single-family townhouse owner, since it's currently divided into two duplexes. There's also some debate over the extent to which the house featured in the film: the exterior was definitely used in the movie, but it's not clear whether the interiors were ever used, or whether those scenes were shot just on a Hollywood set. Either way, there are some decent bragging rights up for grabs here.
ETA: The article does not note that the owner invested a great deal in renovation costs, which has attributed to the enormous increase in value. See property history details at trulia.

Today, at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in Pasadena, actor Benedict Cumberbatch was via satellite from London, where he is for the British premiere of War Horse, to promote the second season of the hit television series Sherlock. Having premiered on January 1st in the UK, and on PBS on May 6th, Season 2 is stronger, better (yes, it’s true!) and wittier than Season 1.
While we will run what Benedict had to say about playing the iconic detective later, we did want to post his comments on how he feels about being chosen for a lead role in the Star Trek sequel what he makes of the level of stardom he’s currently experiencing, and whether he might return for a Season 3 of Sherlock. Baby on board!
Sienna Miller and boyfriend Tom Sturridge are expecting a child, a source confirms to Us Weekly. The 30-year-old actress and Sturridge, 26, have been together for a year and "don't have plans right away to marry, if at all," the source says.
"Friends are really happy with her relationship with Tom," the source tells Us. "He's younger, yes, but he's mature and he's a good guy."
The source adds that Miller's family "had had it with Jude Law and his cheating and all the back and forth." Last February, Miller and Law, 39, ended their relationship for the second time. They first split in 2006 after two years of dating when Law admitted to cheating on the star with his children's nanny.
Miller and Sturridge's friends "were not surprised by the news of the pregnancy," says the source. "They're really good together."
"They just spent the holidays in Paris together after they announced the news in London," says the source.
Miller's rep could not be reached for comment. A rep for Sturridge tells Us: "We don't comment on our client's personal lives at all."
After two years of marriage Ruben Studdard filed for divorce from his then wife Surata McCants last year, citing “irreconcilable differences,” (translation: turns out everything I read about your ass on the internet was true, control-alt-delete!) and is now singing a new tune about bachelor life.
Rap-Up – Ruben Studdard is back on the market. The “American Idol” winner declares his bachelor status on “June 28th (I’m Single),” the new single from his upcoming album Letters From Birmingham, due March 11. The recently divorced singer tells his ex that he misses her on the candid midtempo.
“Hell, I tried everything to make you smile/ I gave you the world on a platter, but you wanted out,” sings the Velvet Teddy Bear.

But of course we can’t just focus on Brit’s real estate wheelings and dealings without taking a look at a bit of the diva’s personal life.
In honor of her newly-announced engagement and recent move to Thousand Oaks, we’re highlighting the ups and downs of the singer in real estate and in real life.
Canadian director Vincenzo Natali is racking up quite a cool resume. After making a name for himself with the brutal and mind-bendy horror film Cube, he eventually went on to explore why you should never get too closely involved with your own genetic experiments in Splice. He also may be the guy who finally brings William Gibson's seminal cyberpunk novel, Neuromancer, to the big screen. Before we'll be seeing Natali's versions of Case and Molly, however, the director will be shooting a horror movie with a twist.
Bloody Disgusting reports that Natali will begin shooting Haunter, described as a "reverse ghost story," this March. I'm not crazy about that title, but the reverse thing has me intrigued. What exactly is a reverse ghost story? It doesn't mean we'll be seeing Casper living out Memento; rather, Haunter will tell a ghost story from the perspective of the actual ghost. It will focus on a spirit named Lisa, who has haunted the house in which she died since 1986. She begins haunting Olivia, a new resident, but in a benevolent way: she's trying to protect her.
The script is by a chap named Brian King. He only has a few produced credits to his name, but one of them was the 2002 movie Cypher, directed by, you guessed it, Vincenzo Natali. Obviously he impressed Natali enough to work together again, so hopefully Haunter will be something special. The "haunted house" genre has been thoroughly mined over the years, but maybe "reversing" the concept is just what is needed to liven things up (so to speak).

There's no official word on what's behind the apparent delay -- Schedule conflicts among the enormous, impressive cast? Tweaks to the bound-to-be-controversial script? An extended post-holiday hangover? -- but in the state's most recent listing of projects, "Django" now boasts a February start.
Also unclear: Whether the new date will affect the Weinstein Co.'s plans to release the film next Christmas. Granted, losing a few weeks of shooting isn't disastrous, but the production schedule on "Django" was already tight -- just more than 11 months from the start of production until its planned release -- so there's even less room for error now.
Of course, a one-month delay is better than the rumored fate of Columbia Pictures' Tom Hanks/Paul Greengrass project "Captain Phillips" (aka "Maersk Alabama") where the state film industry is concerned. Although the studio had no comment, multiple unofficial sources say the project -- set to start shooting Feb. 13 -- has weighed anchor and is heading overseas, giving up on its plans to shoot in Louisiana and Alabama.
Chris Stelly, the executive director of the state film office, declined comment on the "Captain Phillips" rumors recently, although he pointed out that any film project should be considered tentative until cameras on are the ground.
Noel Fielding arrives at the Groucho Club in Soho wearing his favourite cape. It’s black with red details – very Ripper chic – and when he sits down, it balloons over the sides of his armchair. By the time the comedian and Never Mind the Buzzcocks regular starts telling me about his newfound mouse problem, he looks like a decapitated head in a cheap stage trick.
The combination is classically Fielding: a surreal, fantastical creature and a mundane monologue. It’s a little bit dark and a little bit docile, but totally absurd.

Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino has a goal for 2012: "I need to figure out a way to get people to stop thinking of me as the 'stoner, cat loving' girl," she wrote to us in an email this week. NBC entertainment chief Bob Greenblatt on Friday kicked off the broadcast networks’ segment of the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena by almost immediately fielding questions about Community‘s MIA status from the midseason schedule as well as the acclaimed if undersampled comedy’s long-term fate.
First and foremost, Greenblatt made clear that Community “has not been cancelled,” and will return to the lineup… at a to-be-determined date this spring.
“When I announced our midseason changes last fall and took Community off the schedule, I failed to explicitly say that it would be back,” he explained. “I want to expel any notion that it is just disappearing off the schedule.”
For now, it remains unclear where exactly where our friends at Greendale will call home when they return to the lineup. “Community was moved to 8 o’clock a couple of years ago, and that’s an incredibly competitive time slot now on Thursday,” Greenblatt said, candidly. “I’m really curious to see what something else” — in this case, 30 Rock — “will do there. We have a really tight schedule with comedies [so it's] really going to be a matter of looking at what happens with the six comedies we’ve got at midseason.”
As for any Season 4 prospects for Community, Greenblatt says it’s far too soon to tell. “We’re just going to look at the success of what pilots yield, what the scheduling needs are and make that decision closer to the upfront [in May].”

"I really want to start dancing again," Chaz Bono tells PEOPLE.
No, he's not expecting to be invited back to "Dancing with the Stars," where he lasted an impressive six weeks this past fall. He's looking to woo the ladies on the dance floor, explains the newly single Bono, who split with his fiancée in December.
"What a great skill: to be able to take a woman dancing ... and actually know what you're doing!"
Bono's been staying active, maintaining his DWTS weight loss by taking up boxing and skiing over the Christmas holiday with his family. He'd understandably taken some time off from the slopes, explaining, "First I was a drug addict and then my dad died skiing, so that kind of turned me off a bit."
But back in the dating pool, fitness is important, and Bono is hoping that the world can start to see past him as a trans man.
"People focus on what's between your legs," says Bono. "If I never have bottom surgery [the procedure by which a penis is created], I'm fine. I feel 100 percent male as I am."
Bono adds that any further surgery is not a big priority at this time. "When I was doing Dancing, I had a leak in my roof. A new roof was definitely more of a priority," he says with a laugh.

Seen here doing a remarkable job pretending Mark Wahlberg‘s lack of prosthetic breasts doesn’t bring him unspeakable sadness, The Fighter director David O. Russell is apparently under investigation for fondling his 19-year-old transgender niece’s breasts even though he claims she told him to which, let’s agree, makes this sound not-at-all fucked-up. TMZ reports:
The Broward County Sheriff's Dept. has confirmed...Russell has been accused of inappropriately grabbing his niece’s breasts during a workout session at a South Florida hotel gym on Dec. 30.
According to the police report taken 3 days after the incident, Russell’s niece...who was born a man and is currently in the preoperative phase of her transition...told cops the two had been doing abdominal exercises when he asked questions about her transformation.
The niece — who does NOT have a blood relation to Russell — told cops they began to talk about her breasts...and how certain hormones she’s taking have made them larger.
According to the report, the niece claims Russell then "put his hands under [her] top and felt both breasts."
Cops say the woman said she felt "uncomfortable"...but admitted she “did not ask him to stop at any time."
On top of allegedly asking him to inspect her breasts, David O. Russell also claims his niece made him "pinky swear" to never tell anyone about the incident and then goes on to make probably the best money quote to come out of an uncle-niece fondling session since Cletus H. Beauregarde noted in July 1987 that his niece’s "bergina done look like a retard possum."
In the police report, one of the investigators notes, "Russell stated [his niece] is always causing drama since the transgender transformation and has become very provocative and seductive."
“I’ve written a whole bunch of ideas and directions, all over the map, in the last two, three years,” Perry told Billboard. “I plan on getting in the studio at some point and start trying to track these things and see where they go.”
One key element of the process is the lack of pressure. That is something Perry, 62, does not need or want in his life when it comes to making music. Pressure, he says, distracts him. “I’ll worry about it sucking, and then what am I gonna do? I’ve got all this pressure… that I just don’t want on me, so I’ve allowed myself the ability to sketch and write as I go, and I’ll do it at my own pace,” he said.
Doing things on his clock is crucial, since he’s getting up there in age, something he’s not in denial over: “I’m no spring chicken. The same arthritis that ate up my left hip that finally got replaced hasn’t stopped there… And touring is a lot of work. I’m impressed when I see people like Eric Clapton out there. Gee whiz, Eric, give me a break! It’s amazing. I know it’s gotta hurt somewhere.”
The inevitable topic came up – his relationship with his former bandmates, who fans hope, wish and pray that he’ll reunite with for one more go round. He called the relationship “civil through channels.” That sounds like managers do the communicating instead of Perry trading “Miss You, LOL!”texts with Schon or bassist Ross Valory.
He admitted, “We really don’t have a lot to say to each other at this point. We have certainly for years now gone our separate ways and we’re all living different lives. They’ve got their singer and they’re working and they’re happy and everybody’s fine.”
Separate ways, huh? Just like the Journey song!
RuPaul is NOT throwing his wig in the ring. Contrary to recent reports, I did not come in third in the Iowa caucus. I am not even a member of the Republican Party. But I am a proud American.”
To that end Ru will be appearing at the Red Arrow Diner in Manchester, New Hampshire, Saturday morning at 9 AM.
“I’ve always loved the New Hampshire state motto: LIVE FREE OR DIE,” he says. “I think it’s important, especially in an election year, to celebrate who you really are. And to let everyone around you have the right to express their true selves.” Regarding his political drag doppelganger, Ron Paul, Ru says emphatically: “I have one message for Ron Paul… and to all the Republican candidates… ‘If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you going to love somebody else.’ Can I get an AMEN?”
Is New Hampshire prepared for the wiggy whirlwind that is about to descend upon their fair state? I’m not sure, but stay tuned. Pictures and video of RuPaul on the campaign trail to come!

Cheryl Cole and Lily Allen's infamous feud seems to be back on, with Cheryl appearing to unfollow the Smile singer on Twitter after her tweets about Girls Aloud.
The pair famously fell out in 2007 when Cheryl labelled Allen a 'chick with a d**k', with Lily hitting responding by calling Cole a 'stupid b***h'.
Cheryl looked to have buried the hatchet with Lily at Halloween, writing that the star looked 'ridiculously cute' when Allen posted a picture of herself holding a pumpkin with her baby bump.
But Lily was feeling less forgiving when commenting on the news that Sarah Harding could be charged with assault following her clash with boyfriend Theo De Vries.
Referencing Cheryl's 2003 conviction for assaulting a toilet attendant, Allen wrote: 'Wow 40% of Girls Aloud will have been charged with assault.'
Cole failed to challenge her nemesis directly regarding the comments, but wrote later: 'I've been on here 4 months but still feel a little new to this.. What does this button do...???'
While there was initially confusion as to what Cheryl was referring to, it seems she was commenting on the 'unfollow' button.
Allen is now conspicuously absent from the list of people Cheryl is following on the social networking site, while Cole also re-tweeted a message which read: 'Some people are like clouds. When they disappear, it's a brighter day.'
She also appeared to thank fans who had blasted Lily in the wake of her comments, adding: 'BTW My soldiers you do not f about do you.... LMFAO!!'

Following November 2011 media reports of an S Club 7 reunion in the near future, many S Club 7 fans (myself included) shat themselves at the idea of these seven flaw-free individuals reuniting to bring us the music we've all jammed out to in our bedrooms with hairbrushes many years ago.
Though as the weeks following those reports went by, with no official word from any of the seven, many fans might've started to lose hope. Was it just another false rumor, like previous reports of their reuniting over the years?
Don't give up hope yet, my fellow S Club 7 fans! A recent conversation on Twitter between former S Clubbers Tina Barrett and Jo O'Meara have sparked the interest of this SC7 fanatic...

Could it be? The seven meeting up to start talks on an S Club 7 reunion? Fingers crossed, my friends. And in the meantime, I declare this post an S CLUB PARTY POST.
Fans of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy who have also read the original JRR Tolkien books will no doubt remember the uncomfortable moment in The Return of the King when Hugo Weaving's Elrond rocks up rather randomly at Dunharrow and starts spouting nonsense about Arwen's fate being tied inextricably to the fate of the ring. It wasn't in the book, and it wouldn't have been in the movie had Jackson and his team not been determined to give the romance between Aragorn and his elven belle more screen time in line with Hollywood convention.
Never mind, most of us thought, forgiving a film-making team that had pulled off a minor miracle in bringing Tolkien's fantasy work to the big screen at all, and managed to do so with great care and brio. I wonder if we'll be so generous if new rumours that Jackson is planning to change the end of The Hobbit turn out to have any basis in fact.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Keke Palmer on the cover of VIBE Vixen. They're handpicking some of my favorite ladies this season, huh? Their first Dec/Jan cover reveal was none other than classy & chic Tracee Ellis Ross (see it here).
Now taking a younger spin on the issue's cover is actress and singer Keke Palmer. She chatted it up with VIBE Vixen about her love life & new projects in 2012:
On meeting her boyfriend…
One day Patrick [Johnson, Jr.] came to the set of True Jackson VP, and he brought Rodney, my boyfriend, with him. My mouth dropped when I saw him, and I’m just like, Keke, control yourself! [Laughs] I was 15 years old at the time, and he was 19, so we didn’t talk or anything like that. I just always had a huge crush on him. Then when I was like 17, I talked to my parents ’cause my mom was like, ‘If you want to date somebody, I guess the oldest age would be 21.’ I just couldn’t believe that she said that to me. It really almost made my heart skip a beat because I always liked him.
On her upcoming role in A Virgin Mary…
We haven’t started to film it yet, but I’m very excited because this is something new for me. People have always known me, as I said, as Keke Palmer the “good girl.” In this movie, I’m not necessarily being a huge slut, but my character is just that. She’s like, ‘I’m a sex enthusiast. That’s who I am,’ but the reason why I chose this film was because it’s different from what everybody knows me as. And this character spoke to me because she was funny, she was likeable… Even if I didn’t play the character, you would immediately love her because she’s just lovable. It’s almost like [Draya] on Basketball Wives LA. People can say whatever they want about her, but you like Draya because that’s who she is. You either like her or you don’t. No fronting, no nothing.
A character similar to Draya? Chris Brown's old side chick that got her kid taken away while she hustled? Oh. Well, maybe the film is good. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures and interview.
It’s been a whirlwind 48 hours for Franchesca Ramsey. The 28-year-old New York-based graphic designer and comedian posted her hit video parody “Shit White Girls Say…to Black Girls” on Jan. 4, and in less than a day it got over 1.5 million views, thousands of Facebook shares and even generated a spat with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. By Thursday, it beat out Justin Bieber for the coveted slot of the most watched video on YouTube.
Ramsey has become the star and creator of one of 2012’s first viral sensations. Of the dozens of videos that took up the “Shit People Say” meme, Ramsey’s was the first one to a offer a popular and critical examination of race. But why are these videos so popular? And as cultural critiques, can videos like Ramsey’s open meaningful conversations about race and racial justice?
Janet McTeer and Rose Byrne
When Patty Hewes talks, people listen — and the same goes for Glenn Close. "Last year felt a little guy-heavy," says the star of Damages, which featured John Goodman, Dylan Baker and Chris Messina in Season 4. "So Rose Byrne and I asked the producers to bring in more strong females." ()
Hence, the final season (debuting this summer on DirecTV) boasts Janet McTeer — not coincidentally, Close's fellow Golden Globe and SAG Awards nominee for Albert Nobbs. Plus, Dharma & Greg alum Jenna Elfman (nty) explores her dark side as a corporate whistle-blower.
Another upside for network-TV vet Elfman? "I get to curse," she says. "And I love cursing!"
omg I've been saying the same thing, my queens <3
When American Idol/X Factor gon' dew it!
Once again, it's time for the Guardian first album award, our prize for the best British debut of last year. The 10 contenders from 2011 take in dubstep, woozy Lolita pop, stirring gothic and more, but which will impress our judges the most? Those judges – Alexis Petridis, Rebecca Nicholson, Kitty Empire and Tim Jonze, joined by last year's winner Gold Panda, and Nicky Wire of Manic Street Preachers – will meet at a glamorous location (possibly the Guardian canteen) later this month to ponder the most deserving album. As ever, the winner will receive a hugely covetable piece of art from the trophy shop round the corner from our offices, and a cash prize amounting to nothing. But just think of the prestige. And here, for your perusal, is the shortlist, as voted for by the Guardian's music writing team.

Also anyone looking to check out episodes of the podcast, try starting with the amazingly epic Holiday Spectacular, Best of 2011 (pts 1 & 2) or the top voted episode of the year, Farts & Procreation. The show gets a lot of pretty iconic guests like Zach Galifanakis, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Ben Stiller & more!
Edit: Changed the main pic because I found one from the actual pilot, but here is the one originally posted because it's pretty great (from the podcast):
I hope this show has a live adaptation of foam corner.

If you’ve seen any of the high-profile gay-themed movies from 2011—from Beginners to J. Edgar—you may have noticed they have one thing in common: the gay sex takes place in the dark (or not at all). Ramin Setoodeh interviews actors, directors, and writers to find out why gay sex is the last taboo in Hollywood.
By now, you’ve probably heard about Shame, this generation’s Last Tango in Paris. Michael Fassbender plays a single (and often naked) Manhattan bachelor named Brandon obsessed with sex, and the movie offers a voyeuristic look into his anonymous encounters with various women. One afternoon he even has sex with a pretty blonde prostitute against the window of the Standard Hotel, for all of downtown New York to see.
On another drunken night, Brandon wanders into a gay club. He’s so desperate for sex, he’ll sleep with anybody—even a man. The scene is meant to illustrate how depraved his character has become, but the moment is a turning point for another reason. For the first time in the film, Shame is ashamed to show you what Brandon experiences. In a dark underground corridor, a guy unzips Brandon’s pants … and the camera cuts away. The screen fades to black.
Gay sex is the last Hollywood taboo. When Ellen DeGeneres came out of the closet as the first openly gay sitcom star in 1997—and her fictional self followed suit—a parade of gay characters came after her. There was Will & Grace, and Carrie Bradshaw’s Sex and the City sidekick, Stanford. In movies, the gay best friend became a staple, from My Best Friend’s Wedding to Mean Girls.
Gerard Pique along with his teammates and members of the board of directors, visited seven Barcelona hospitals, where they passed out 4,000 presents to sick children for "El Dia De Los Reyes Magos"
President Sandro Rosell led the Azulgrana expedition to Hospital Barcelona, where he was accompanied by the director, Javier Bordas and the players, Javier Mascherano and Maxwell. All of whom talked to Barça TV during their trip
The FC Barcelona manager, Josep Guardiola, visited Hospital Nens de Barcelona, with Alves, Adriano, Fotas, Cuenca and Muniesa, and the director Pilar Guinovart.
The rest of the Barça footballers went to Hospital Sant Pau, Hospital del Mar, Sant Joan de Déu, Hospital de Vall d’Hebron and Trias i Pujol. Before making their way to Trias i Pujol, Xavi, Serio Roberto, and the directors Dídac Lee and Manel Arroyo, passed out presents at the Guttmann Institute.

Striking silly poses after noticing the cameras, actor Joaquin Phoenix took a smoke break outside a studio in North Hollywood, California today. Joaquin sported a pair of raggedy looking ripped black jeans.
Phoenix is slowing entering back in to the realm of acting. It looks as if the actor may be lining up two films. One project drawing my interest is his role as a magician in director James Gray’s feature Low Life. The project marks Gray’s fourth collaboration with Joaquin and his first feature since the overlooked 2008 drama Two Lovers.
The second film is a collaboration between director Spike Jonze and actress Carey Mulligan. Their new, untitled project is a satire about a secret summit where the world’s leaders assemble to plan forthcoming major events – including wars – that will subsequently unfold.

Michael Kiwanuka is the BBC Sound of 2012 winner. Not many artists highlighted by BBC Sound of over the years can claim to be influenced by a free covermount CD on a magazine. That is the tale of Michael Kiwanuka however, he left early musical loves Nirvana and Radiohead behind when he came upon a rare recording of Otis Redding's Sitting On The Dock of the Bay on a magazine tribute to Bob Dylan.( Collapse )

As for her sitdown interview, Miss Williams first spoke about her holiday getaway, saying, "I went on a vacation for the first time in a long time. I went to Mexico. It turned into more of an adventure vacation than a relaxing vacation."
Explaining that she went on a horseback ride that ended up being more than she bargained for, the 31-year-old told, "I thought it was going to be one of those slow, sort of amble through the hills and you take a lot of photos and take in like the beautiful scenery... We went down ravines, we went trekking. It was an eight hour horseback ride. At first I wanted to turn back, because we were going down ravines and I don't think horses hooves have traction. I likened it to be piggybacked by a drunk person who has no personal investment in you and will throw you at anytime to save themselves."

It’s hard to imagine Top 40 radio without the ubiquity of LMFAO‘s dance anthems — in part because they’ve been on the charts pretty much since their inception. As a result, the Day-Glo duo are on their way to making Billboard history.
