Even the "Today" show can’t ask questions about Beyoncé’s baby.
Co-anchor Hoda Kotb tried to have a friendly chat with the pregnant superstar’s sister, Solange Knowles, at Lord & Taylor’s Fashion’s Night Out bash, but was rebuffed by her pushy publicist, Charles Wade.
When Kotb approached Solange, who was DJ-ing in the store Thursday night, a source told us, Wade jumped in and barked at Kotb: "What do you want to talk to [Solange] about? She won’t answer questions about Beyoncé." Kotb calmly replied she just wanted to say hi and ask her about the event.
Unrelenting Wade got back in Kotb’s face and blustered, "She won’t answer any questions about Beyoncé... I need to know what questions you’ll ask."
Kotb politely replied, "No, thanks," and sashayed over to talk to Ivanka Trump.
Kotb’s run-in wasn’t the only tense moment at the store -- one woman literally shopped until she dropped and was carried out on a stretcher after collapsing.
'Like Crazy' Director Says Stars Were '100 Percent Game'
In our Fall Movie Preview, Drake Doremus says he 'was shocked' over chemistry between Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones.
For his romantic weeper "Like Crazy" — the 2011 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize winner about two college sweethearts torn apart due to deportation — director Drake Doremus tapped a veritable who's who of Hollywood's young, up-and-coming talent, including Anton Yelchin and Jennifer Lawrence. But it was 27-year-old Felicity Jones whom he took a real gamble on, casting the actress after having only seen an audition tape filmed in her London flat. He said it was a risk well worth the return.
As part of our Fall Movie Preview, Doremus spoke with MTV News about the autobiographical nature of his tender drama, taking a chance on Jones and all those comparisons to "Blue Valentine."
MTV: This is such a heart-wrenching love story. Is it autobiographical in any way? What was your inspiration?
Drake Doremus: I think, trying to make a genuine love story, it would be silly not to try to dig deep and find pieces of yourself and put them in the film. So there's a lot of emotional truth in the film that I've gone through and relationship elements, for sure. It's a very personal love story.

Today we have the trailer for "Miss Bala," a Mexican thriller produced by Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna that's been getting great reviews.
The story of a beautiful young woman named Laura Guerrero (Stephanie Sigman) clinging on to her dream to become a beauty contest queen in an impoverished Mexico dominated by organized crime.
The new film is written and directed by Mexican helmer Gerardo Naranjo. It has already premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and has been picked up for domestic distribution by 20th Century Fox. "Miss Bala" will get a limited US theatrical release on October 14th.
Gael Garcia Bernal: "Films Must Speak About Violence in Mexico"
Mexico's biggest film star, Gael Garcia Bernal, said here that it is necessary to speak about the violence that is occurring in this country through films such as "Miss Bala" (Miss Bullet").
The film was made by Canana Films, the production company of Garcia Bernal and fellow actor Diego Luna.
"We have the active responsibility to show what is happening so that this isn't a natural thing, something common," said Garcia Bernal as a meeting with students at Iberoamericana University in Mexico City.

Thesp to star in political satire from Chilean helmer Pablo Larrain
Gael Garcia Bernal will play an ad exec who changes the course of history in "No," a political satire from Chilean helmer Pablo Larrain, ("Tony Manero," "Post Mortem").
Inspired by true events, "No" takes place before the 1988 referendum staged by Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet to gain a further eight-year term in office. Adopting a brilliantly upbeat advertising campaign, the "No" campaign won the plebiscite, ousting Pinochet.
"Garcia Bernal's character will be the guy who had the idea of using a nice, happy, positive message instead a dark one," said Larrain. "That´s why they won: They didn't attack Pinochet. They just promised a better and nicer future."

Luna marches on Chavez biopic
Malkovich shingle to produce film on farm labor leader
Actor-director Diego Luna will direct "Chavez," a portrait of farm laborers' leader Cesar Chavez that is set up as a Mexico-U.S. co-production.
Producers include John Malkovich's L.A,.-based Mr. Mudd; the Mexico-based shingle Canana, founded by Gael Garcia Bernal, Diego Luna and Pablo Cruz; and "Juno" producers Lianne Halfon and Russell Smith.
Shooting in English and budgeted at $10 million-$12 million, "Chavez" rates as Canana's most ambitious movie ever, Cruz told Variety. It also marks the first attempt by Mexico's top production shingle to produce out of the U.S., addressing its Latino markets in particular.
A charismatic civil-rights leader and labor activist, Chavez founded the United Farm Workers, which from the 1960s used strikes, pickets, boycotts, marches and Chavez's personal fasts to progressively wrestle rights for work contracts, collective bargaining, better pay and safer conditions.

She was thrust into the spotlight at the tender age of 12, with a critically acclaimed starring role in Kick Ass. But it seems her rising Hollywood star might have caused 14-year-old Chloe Moretz to grow up a little too fast.
The young actress stepped out on the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival last night wearing a rather risqué outfit. Chloe confidently posed for photographers in the outfit, which consisted of a sheer black polka dot blouse by Valentino, which appeared to show a type of bustier underneath. A short high waisted leather skirt section and high heels completed the look.
At one point the star strolled across the street to greet waiting fans, happily taking photographs and signing autographs.
The actress won plaudits opposite Nicholas Cage as young assassin Hit Girl in last year's cult film Kick Ass. She has since gone on to star in Diary of a Wimpy Kid and low budget vampire flick Let Me In.
In Hick, Chloe plays a 13-year-old Nebraska girl who gets more than she bargains for when she runs away to Las Vegas. Blake Lively, Juliette Lewis and Alec Baldwin also co-star, with Lewis also arriving for the film's premiere yesterday.

Kim Kardashian defied tradition by throwing away the top tiers of her wedding cake, it's being claimed.
The 30-year-old reality star tied the knot with Kris Humphries in a lavish ceremony last month where the black and white ten-tiered cake was a star attraction.
But while custom calls for the bride and groom to keep the top tier of the cake to use as a treat for their first baby's arrival or another appropriate celebration, Kim's ended up in the trash.
"I was shocked when I found it," a worker said who helped clear up after the August 20 event at the US$29 million estate in Montecito, California.
"There it was, one of the highest-priced cakes at a wedding ever, removed from all its glory and discarded s just another piece of trash. I couldn't help but shake my head and laugh."
The chocolate and vanilla wedding cake was made by celebrity bakers Hansen's and was said to be worth up to US$20,000.
"Ninety-nine percent of brides and grooms do keep their top tiers," celebrity wedding planner David Tutera told Star magazine.
"The cake will certainly bring back memories of what you had. The cost of it doesn't matter - they threw away a tradition."
The couple are currently staying in the penthouse suite of New York's Gansevoort Park Avenue hotel but they will not be spending much time together soon due to work commitments.
"They don't know what NBA team Kris will be on but she'll only live part-time where he is," a source told the publication. "She's not going to give up LA as her home base."

The Halo singer, who was snapped on holiday in Croatia last week, is tucking into snacks such as Oreo cookies and gherkins, as well as fruit dipped in tomato ketchup.

By today’s franchise-baiting standards, the plot of Top Gun looks adorably simple in hindsight. Pilots with high self-esteem battle enemy MiGs, but they’re secretly fighting themselves, and also Kelly McGillis: In 1986, that was enough to make Top Gun the highest-grossing movie of the year. But as EW’s Christ Nashawaty pointed out in his recent review of the film’s 25th-anniversary DVD, Top Gun holds a troublesome place in movie history: Its adorably cheeseball squareness wound up setting the stage for the entire era of the modern Hollywood blockbuster, to the point that this summer’s Green Lantern basically felt like Top Gun with more digital effects and worse dialogue.
Now, you can ponder the deeper societal implications of Maverick’s internal struggle with an entirely new dimension: According to a report in the Hollywood Reporter, Paramount is converting Top Gun into 3-D for a potential 2012 re-release.
The film is being converted by Legend3D, who screened a 3-D version of the “Danger Zone” sequence in Amsterdam over the weekend. Legend3D’s CEO told the Reporter that Paramount is “planning to release it in 3-D in early 2012.” (EW contacted Paramount’s reps but could not confirm any immediate plans for a 3-D release date. It’s what, if anything, the Top Gun 3D plans mean for the film’s oft-threatened sequel.) I guess if you’re trying to convert an older film into the 3-D format, Top Gun makes more sense than The Maltese Falcon. In light of declining ticket sales for 3-D this summer, it seems like a strange time for studios to be converting their libraries. But hey, it can’t be worse than Green Lantern.
They say there’s nothing new under the sun, and while that may be true, Guy Moshe’s action spectacular Bunraku certainly comes close. A triumph of style over, but not entirely without, substance, Bunraku is a daring new film that takes familiar action movie tropes and makes them feel new and special with truly innovative cinematic techniques. It can’t quite sustain that novelty throughout its too-long 118 minute running time, but that’s a small price to pay for that rare action film that whose originality can’t be denied.

Amory Lorch cast; Gregor recast?
Another cast member has been confirmed for season two of Game of Thrones. Winter-Is-Coming.net can reveal that Fintan McKeown has been cast as Amory Lorch.
Ser Amory Lorch is a landed knight in service to House Lannister. At the start of the second book, he is pillaging the Riverlands at the command of Lord Tywin Lannister. McKeown is an Irish actor that has had numerous appearances in film and television, most notably as Capt. Janeway’s one-time love interest, Michael Sullivan, in Star Trek: Voyager and King Odin in BBC’s Merlin.
Winter Is Coming: Nice to get some more confirmed casting news with the Amory Lorch announcement. I thought Lorch was a character they may cut, good to know I was wrong. Bodes well for some of those other roles still up in the air (no, we still have no word on the Reeds or Tullys). Too bad about Gregor being recast, assuming it is true, but I think Whyte could fill the role admirably in Conan’s absence. Most people likely won’t even notice the switch.
Weeee first post. Idgaf about Amory Lorch, GIVE ME THE REEDS.

John Cho was satisfied with his work in Star Trek XI, and the actor who played Sulu has an opinion on what he’d like to see for the character in the next Star Trek movie.
There was plenty for Cho to do in Star Trek XI, which was gratifying, as he didn’t expect a big role in the movie. “I was happy,” he said. “When I took the role, I hadn’t read the script, even. I just knew that I wanted to be a part of it. I wasn’t sure how it’d juggle out. There were just a lot of characters to get to, it was a big story to tell, and I wasn’t expecting a huge arc.” What Cho got was a fun fight scene. “But that scene, the fight, was spectacular,” he said. “It was something I hadn’t done before. It was new territory for me. So I was very happy with what I had, to answer your question.”
Cho was impressed when he first saw Star Trek XI. “But I can only tell you what my reaction was,” he said. “I was just screaming the first time we screened the movie. It was on the Paramount lot. The main cast was there and everyone was going nuts, as I was. I kind of forgot that I was in the movie. A lot of actors watch movies, watch themselves, in a very critical way and they start nitpicking. The movie was so exciting that I actually forgot to beat myself up. And I thought the guy playing Sulu was OK.”
What does Cho want for Sulu in the next movie? “Sulu’s battle was external in the first one,” said Cho, “and I think it’d be interesting to see
such a flawless and humble human being.

And I’m just curious, you know, you obviously had a lot going on already in your career but now that sort of gotta feel like a great validation and motivation to keep doing things, doesn’t it?
Keira Knightley: Yeah it was funny that I mean, yes it was absolutely extraordinary to be nominated for an Oscar for “Pride…”, you know it really was. It didn’t make me feel validated at all, it was very strange. I mean partly I think it’s - I had very low self confidence and again I think because I was 19 when we shot that and going through a very difficult kind of teenage, late-teenage thing. So I’ve always felt like I’ve had a lot to prove. And I still feel that I’ve got a lot to prove and hopefully I always will, you know? But no, strangely it didn’t kinda make me go - “Oh it’s all alright now!” - I mean, it was amazing, it was extraordinary, it never quite seemed real. But it never made me feel like I’ve finally arrived.

“There’s a prohibition on anyone registering a first or last name that doesn’t belong to them”, he told the “Guardian” newspaper.
“The reason we banned the celebrities’ names was because it’s very difficult for them to trademark their names. We didn’t want to have the embarrassment of “AngelinaJolie.xxx” coming up at the launch of the new domain.”

Julian Lennon has confirmed plans for a new album, while half-brother Sean Lennon has announced a one off London show.
It must be difficult living in the shadow of a famous parent. It must be even more difficult if that parent is John Lennon, an instantly recognisable icon whose work has charmed generations over the past fifty years.
Julian Lennon has built his own musical career, while also helping to look after his father's legacy in the UK. Working on new material, the singer recently completed work on his first full length album in ten years.
'Everything Changes' is due to be released on October 3rd, with lead track 'Lookin' 4 Luv' out this week. Speaking recently, Julian Lennon explained that the genesis of 'Everything Changes' happened almost by accident.
"I get twitchy if I don’t pick up a guitar or sit at the piano every now and then...I have to do it; I don’t have a choice" he said.

Ashley Parker-Angel tells us he was "intrigued" at the idea of reuniting with his old boy-band O-Town -- but ultimately decided he couldn't live in the past ... this according to the singer's rep.
In a statement to TMZ, Ashley explains, "O-Town was one of the greatest chapters of my life, so when the idea of a reunion was brought to me, of course I was intrigued."
He continues, "However I have made the decision not to be a part of an O-Town reunion. It was a difficult decision, but ultimately necessary to move on with the next chapter of my career."
Erik Michael Estrada responded to the statement saying “If Ashley really wanted to rejoin O-Town … he would have figured out a way to “multi-task” the reunion and his acting career. Erik says he and the rest of the band have all come to terms with Ashley’s rejection — but explains, “I would just think he would want to come on board and be a part of it … but he doesn’t and that’s cool.”
Ashley is no Donnie Wahlberg so it figures he couldn't handle multi-tasking.

It’s no secret she can be a bit clumsy at times, and Lady Gaga took a tumble (she was sitting down, though...) during a Vanity Fair photoshoot in New York City today (September 12).
The “Born This Way” singer was decked out in some unusual garb as she posed atop huge platforms and lost her balance - which caused her to fall to the ground at the Central Park locale.
Luckily, the 25-year-old singer looked unharmed and was quickly helped back up to her feet to proceed forth with the rest of the session.

The Vampire Diaries co-stars were outed as a couple this summer, photographed in Paris together, and they each gushed about the other on Saturday night at The CW premiere party in Burbank, CA.
"She truly enjoys life," Somerhalder told Us Weekly of Dobrev, who dates his on-scren brother, Stefan, on the aforementioned (AWESOME!) CW drama. "Her desire to experience and appreciate everything around her, and chuckle and enjoy it, is great."
The actress gave a similar reason for why she has fallen for Somerhalder.
"He always has a positive outlook and positive energy, and he's always happy," she said. "He is a glass-half-full kind of guy, not half-empty."

Parents, beware. A new study shows that watching just nine minutes of SpongeBob SquarePants can mess with children's brains.
The AP reports on the study of sixty four-year-olds, who were assigned either to watch SpongeBob, to take in the "slower-paced" show Caillou, or to draw.
After nine minutes, the kids took a variety of cognitive tests, as well as a test of self-control that involved measuring how long they could wait to eat snacks.
The SpongeBob kids scored an average of 12 points lower on the cognitive tests than the other groups, who did about the same as one another. And they were only able to wait about two and a half minutes before scarfing the snacks, while other kids could hold off for four.
Study author Angeline Lillard said, "I wouldn't advise watching such shows on the way to school or any time they're expected to pay attention and learn."

NEW YORK, September 11, 2011
By Nicole Phelps
The terrace of Avery Fisher Hall as dusk descended over Lincoln Center was the grand setting Zac Posen chose for his return to New York fashion week. The designer famously left his hometown for the City of Light a year ago, declaring, in so many words, that a Paris audience would understand his clothes better. That turned out not to be the case. But this prodigal-son story has a happy ending. He neither overplayed nor tempered his creative instincts today, as he had in his first and second seasons, respectively, in Paris. On the contrary: The well-executed dresses and gowns he put on his runway tonight reminded some in the audience of the designer's early-aughts glory days.
Posen focused on cut and fit—the more precise, the better. If corsets aren't your friends, ladies, this designer is not the man for you. With the accent firmly on the waist, he paired narrow, elongated jackets with high armholes with pencil skirts, and whipped up party dresses with flaring, knee-length hems. Some of his jackets read a bit too Old Hollywood, and a couple of the gowns were too hobbling, but young Hollywood will be charmed by a lot of what was on display here. Among the mermaid gowns, a midnight blue cord-embroidered sleeveless top and matching evening skirt stood out for the way the look said, "I'm an ingenue," rather than, "I'm a diva." We all know Posen can bring the drama; insouciance could turn out to be a growth market for him.

In a format known for its rapid-fire artist turnover and constant search for the next sonic fad, Britney Spears' sustained success at pop radio has reached new heights.
Spears claims the mark for the longest span of No. 1s on Billboard's Pop Songs chart, as "I Wanna Go" rises 2-1 on the Nielsen BDS-based mainstream top 40 radio airplay tally.
Spears scored the first of her six No. 1s on the chart the week of Feb. 20, 1999, with "...Baby One More Time." With this week's listing dated Sept. 24, she extends her stretch of leading the list to a record 12 years, seven months and four days.
"Over the last 10 or more years, Britney Spears has had her ups and downs," said MoJoe Roberts, program director of Pop Songs panelist KHOP (@95-1)/Modesto, Calif., earlier this year. "But, every time she drops new music, it is an event for the format."
Spears isn't even the only evergreen diva in the current Pop Songs top five. Fellow former Disney Mouseketeer Christina Aguilera rises 6-3 as guest vocalist on Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" (which topped the Hot 100 two weeks ago).
Should "Jagger" strut to the Pop Songs summit, Aguilera would likewise boast a No. 1 span of more than 12 years; she first inhabited the chart's penthouse with "Genie in a Bottle" the week of Sept. 11, 1999.

Eminem's homie Elton John was right: sorry really does seem to be the hardest word. And what could be more humiliating than a public apology? With all the grandstanding and chest-beating that goes on in hip-hop, it's rare to see rappers showing any signs of regret or remorse. But every once in a while, even a supa emcee has to say those dreaded words: "I apologize."
Take Soulja Boy for example: earlier this week he offered an apology to the United States military for saying "fuck the Army troops" in his song “Let’s Be Real." C'mon son! For starters, your name is Soulja boy. Not to mention the fact that Army troops are involved in at least three overseas conflicts at the moment. Time to humble yourself homie.
And this isn't the first time Soulja has had to apologize. Back in 2009 he said "Sorry to all my white fans" for a racially charged Twitter rant. Nor is Soulja’s not the only rhyme spitter who's had to fall on his sword. Check out our list of the The 20 Most Humiliating Hip-Hop Apologies and see whether your favorite rapper had to ask for forgiveness. You won't be sorry.

Sean Lennon has signed on to score the forthcoming film, Alter Egos, written and directed by Jordan Galland and starring Danny Masterson, Kris Lemche, Brooke Nevin and Joey Kern.
Lennon, who also makes a cameo as a super villain, began working on the project earlier this summer, composing what Galland describes as "an epic superhero sound."
This is the second time that Lennon has scored a film by Jordan Galland, the first of which was the critically acclaimed Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Undead, an indie romantic comedy about vampires, Shakespeare and the Holy Grail, released in the summer of 2010.
Alter Egos, which began production this past spring in New York City and Long Island, follows an underappreciated superhero at a time when superheroes have lost government funding and all public support.

Zoe Saldana And Friends Out For Lunch In West Hollywood

After appearing on one Rachel Zoe Project episode so far (and having yet to steam anything, probably), Zoe's new assistant Jeremiah Brent is making the fashion week rounds. We caught up with the new Brad at the Frye flagship opening party on Friday night, where he said he's been getting lots of comparisons to his predecessor. "I think it's natural for people to wonder, because… look, people loved him, there's no two ways about it," he explained. "We're very different, so all I can say is you'll see, hopefully, over the next couple weeks or months, who I am as a person."
How exactly is he different from Goreski? "I don't know Brad. I've never met him, so I can't say. You guys tell me." But he must have seen Brad on the show? "I'm a little bit more shy and introverted, so this is all, like, hard for me," Jeremiah explained. "I'm very quiet, I like to sit at home with the dog." (Wait - isn't that what Brad said?) "So this is all a process, in getting acclimated to it."
Speaking of acclimation, he hasn't experienced any boss-lady tantrums yet from Rachel. "I honestly haven't had any moment like that. She's always been so warm and welcoming, her and Rodger have become part of the family to me. I love them to death." So does Rachel breastfeed the baby in the office? "No!" he said, shuddering. "God, I hope not. I don't want to see anything."
there's only 1 person i like named brad, and brad goreski is not that person. I love Jeremiah, though

Scarlett Johansson is a diva! (LOL WTF is this comment)
The actress, 27, (actually she's 26, but well) is proving to be just as formidable as her Black Widow character on the Avengers set.
According to reports, Scarlett as apparently been demanding more action in the comic book movie which sees her kick-ass character reunited with Iron Man as well as other Marvel heroes including Captain America, Thor and Hulk.
“Scarlett is making a point of not being the token woman in the movie,” reports a source on the set.
“She has had extra action scenes already but is still wanting more. She’s also been very reluctant to have her character be a love interest for the male heroes. Scarlett wants Black Widow to be on a level with the guys if not even more super!”
i doubt this is really true since filming is over but who can blame her? and anyway, it's an excuse for

She has graced countless magazine covers and dresses sell out hours after she has worn them, but experts at New York Fashion Week say Britain's Kate Middleton is a style follower, not a trendsetter like her royal spouse's late mother Princess Diana. Middleton has been compared and contrasted with Diana, whose style, charity and scandalous divorce from Prince Charles made her arguably the world's most famous woman.
When Middleton married Prince William in April, hundreds of millions of people around the world watched on television, eager to see the wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for the British label Alexander McQueen. Then during the a visit by the couple to Canada and the United States in July, all eyes were on Middleton's wardrobe.
"She is stylish, but she's not setting trends, she's following trends," said Gregg Andrews, a fashion director at U.S. department store chain Nordstrom. "If you take Kate out of the royal family, put her on a street in New York, you wouldn't look at her twice. She's a beautiful woman, but she blends into a crowd," he said.
While experts debate her fashion status, they say there is no question that the new Duchess of Cambridge and wife of the person second in line to the British throne is influential.
"Is she a style icon of the likes of a Kate Moss? Absolutely not. Is she in the public eye? Are people going to become obsessed with everything she wears regardless of what it is? Yes," said Elle Fashion News Director Anne Slowey.
Much like U.S. first lady Michelle Obama, Middleton has been praised for wearing affordable Main Street labels. A blue Issa crossover knee-length dress that she wore when her engagement to William was announced sold out within 24 hours and cheap knock-offs vanished almost instantly. And the cream "Nannette" gown by British fashion retailer Reiss, which Middleton wore in the official engagement portraits, sold out several times over.

Nothing is worse than sitting next to someone on a plane who has a sex tape with your wife. Kris Humphries was stone-faced seated next to Kim Kardashian’s ex, Ray J, on a Delta flight Sunday from LA to New Orleans. Humphries, who boarded in Minneapolis, was in an aisle seat across from the singer in first class. Humphries sat there for a few minutes before moving to a seat in front of Ray J.
After minutes of “awkward silence,” Ray J walked up to Humphries’ seat to congratulate him, but Kris acted like he didn’t recognize him. According to a source, “Ray J said, ‘Come on, you know who I am. I just want to say congratulations.’ Then Kris, realizing he was cornered, said, ‘Oh yeah, yeah, I’m sorry I know who you are.’ ”
A mystery buyer is reportedly offering Vivid Entertainment a large sum to buy Kardashian’s sex tape with Ray J, to take it off the market. Some suspect that the buyer might be a member of the Humpdashian clan who may not want their family to see the tape. Humphries’ rep didn’t get back to us. Ray J’s rep declined to comment.

16-year-old Zoey Deutch was not the producers’ original pick to play Siobhan’s bratty stepdaughter Juliet on Ringer. In fact, she's not even in the first episode. (Juliet is played by Caitlin Custer in that ep.)
When the powers that be needed to make a tweak, it was out with the old and in with the star of Disney’s The Suite Life on Deck. Here are five other things you should know about Zoey.
1. Her nickname’s “Zobo.” Aw, isn’t that cute? Her full moniker is a mouthful — Zoey Francis Thompson Deutch.
2. She’s a Hollywood Legacy. Zobo’s parents are Switched-at-Birth actress Lea Thompson and director Howard Deutch (of Grumpier Old Men fame). Her grandfather is the late legendary music-publishing icon Murray Deutch.
3. Her house was a zoo. A petting zoo, that is. Among the many pets that also called the Deutch family’s San Fernando Valley manse home: An African Grey parrot, koi fish, six dogs and a stable of horses.
4. She’s got a birthday coming up. On Nov. 10, Ringer’s youngest star will turn 17. Wish her a happy-happy on Facebook.
5. She works well with Mom. Before spending the summer in Europe with her mother and sister Madelyne, the pair worked together on the comedy Mayor Cupcake.
Serbia's Novak Djokovic outclassed Spain's Rafa Nadal to win the U.S. Open final 6-2 6-4 6-7 6-1 at Flushing Meadows on Monday.
Djokovic produced a masterful display of tactics and precision in windy conditions at Arthur Ashe Stadium to seal the victory after more than four hours against the same man who beat him in last year's final.
The win provided Djokovic with his first U.S. Open title after he had twice been beaten in the final and his third grand slam this year after he won the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
For Nadal, who lost his number one ranking to Djokovic when he was beaten in the Wimbledon final in July, it was his sixth loss to the Serbian this year, all in finals.

In Hollywood, actors like Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp get most of the attention, but they aren’t necessarily the ones who are making the most money. Just check out our list of Entertainment’s Highest-Paid Men. Only two of the ten men on our list are actors and one of those actors earns most of his money as a writer/director/producer.
That would be the multi-talented Tyler Perry. If his face is not instantly recognizable that’s because in his movies he often appears dressed in drag as Madea, the wide-hipped, argumentative, no-nonsense character who has starred in six of Perry’s movies. Madea has also shown up in one of Perry’s TV shows, House of Payne.
Thanks to five movies he has cranked out over the past two years and two TV series, Perry earned $130 million between May 2010 and May 2011, which ranks him as the highest-earning man in entertainment for that time period.
The only other actor on our list is Leonardo DiCaprio who ranks 8th. DiCaprio earned $77 million during our time frame thanks to two of his biggest non-Titanic hits ever: Shutter Island and Inception. The two films earned a combined $1.1 billion at the global box office in 2010.
Directors, producers and TV personalities dominate the rest of our list.
Tyler Perry - $130 million
Jerry Bruckheimer - $113 million ("Pirates of The Caribbean", "Transformers", "CSI", "The Amazing Race")
Steven Spielberg - $107 million
Elton John - $100 million (world tour grossed $204 million)
Simon Cowell - $90 million (THE X-FACTOR)

NBC has shot down a report that the network planned to axe Christina Aguilera after the next season of “The Voice.”
“There is absolutely no truth to the rumor,” Paul Telegdy, NBC Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, told Access Hollywood on Monday.
Earlier in the day, X17 claimed producers at “The Voice,” NBC’s reality singing competition, planned to fire the pop singer as coach for Season 3.
“She doesn’t spend time with her contestants like she’s supposed to. She doesn’t participate,” a source reportedly told X17. “She spends most of her time on set with her boyfriend.”
A rep for Christina Aguilera had no comment when contacted by Access Hollywood about the report.
“The Voice” Season 2 kicks off after the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5.
The show will then move to its regular night, beginning, Monday February 6 at 8 PM ET/PT.

Amy's final recording, a duet with her hero Tony Bennett titled "Body and Soul", will be released by Columbia Records this Wednesday 14th September. This special recording is released at 8am GMT on what would have been Amy's 28th birthday, in aid of the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The song was recorded in March of this year at Abbey Road Studios in London for Tony Bennett's upcoming Duets II album. An accompanying video of the two singing "Body and Soul" together in the studio will also be premiered via amywinehouse.com and Vevo.
The Foundation will be set up by her family to help a number of charities connected with children and young people.
Amy's father Mitch said, "We wanted to make a positive difference and help a range of causes close to Amy's heart. This could include help for children in trouble, suffering from health problems, children's hospices and more."
"While it is separate from my campaign to find more help for young addicts, that may be one of the areas that Foundation contributes to. We intend to raise funds and distribute them to individual projects who apply for help. I couldn't be happier that everyone involved with Amy and this recording felt they wanted to contribute."
