The Teen Choice awards have released the first wave of nominations for the 2011 awards, which will take place in a live two-hour awards show on Sunday, Aug. 7 on FOX. Out of the 66 categories announced Wednesday (June 29), "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" leads all nominations with 12. "Glee" is second with nine noms, followed by "The Vampire Diaries" with seven.
For individuals, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift each received six nominations. This first wave of noms encompasses movies, TV, music, sports and comedians and Tweeters. We aren't really sure what could possibly be left.
Also of note - Justin Bieber got a nomination for Best TV Villain for his turn on "CSI." Heh.

Emma Watson has revealed that she used to hate the way she looked when she was younger.
The Harry Potter star said she would constantly find fault with her appearance whenever she looked in the mirror.
And she even convinced herself that her hair was falling out at one point.
"I used to beat myself up a lot about my appearance,” she told a US magazine.
“Ever since I was 10, there has always been something I didn’t like. I freaked myself out about having a receding hairline.
“I mean, crazy, ridiculous stuff.”
The 21-year-old actress added: “I went through a phase where I didn’t like my eyebrows. And I thought my ears stuck out and I had bad teeth.
“But I realised I might as well just stop constantly being at war about it and just try and let go and be positive about what is good and what I do like.”
I don't know what to think about this article. It's nice to know she's not in love with herself, but at the same time, it's hard to believe that someone as conventionally pretty as her would beat themselves up over their appearance. There's no hope for the rest of the world!
Despite her status as a tennis titan, Serena Williams is wondering if she and her sister Venus had been snubbed at this year's Wimbledon games. Combined, the sisters have won nine of the past 11 Wimbledon Singles Championships but had been continuously asked to play on Court 2 instead of Court 1 at the tournament -- and Serena wants to know why.
"They like to put us on Court 2 — me and Venus — for whatever reason," Serena said. "I haven't figured it out yet. Maybe one day we'll figure it out, "I don't really think about it."
The court controversy has sent the blogosophere abuzz, with people wondering if the sisters are facing racism or sexism even in their own game. Tournament spokesperson Johnny Perkins said the sisters' placement was "not deliberate," noting broadcast considerations and ticket sales as considerable factors for scheduling.
"I don't make it a big issue," Serena said about the scheduling. "I think at some point, maybe I should."
Beyonce, Yes Beyonce is Wrong; Her message hurting the African-American community
Beyonce has built a musical career based on girl empowerment and the seduction of men. In her efforts to empower women, though, she has endorsed a self-absorbed world where a false view of love reigns supreme. Her songs reveal a worldview where men and women indulge in lust, lavish spending, and fantasies of catering, upgrades, and joy rides. I don’t see much responsibility or empowerment of either sex in that kind of behavior.
Yet the lyrics of her recent single acknowledge the men who respect what she does. In her skimpy attire, she seduces them while singing we have “endless power, our love we can devour when you’ll do anything for me.”
The question that haunts me and should arise from moral women of influence is: What type of power is Beyonce encouraging women to embrace? Is an average girl’s persuasion enhanced by flaunting her body, vanity, and money more than modesty, character, team building, and leadership that place the needs of others above themselves?
True persuasion and leadership elevates all people without sacrificing others along the way. That’s what alarms me with the “positive” messages in songs like “Run the World (Girls).” By elevating girls in a music video where they stand strong against an all-male army, Beyonce has subtly (or perhaps not so subtly) sent a message that devalues boys and men.

PELLA, Iowa -- Sarah Palin stared a bit uncomfortably at a movie screen Tuesday night watching a montage of Matt Damon, David Letterman, Madonna, Howard Stern, Bill Maher, Louis C.K. and other celebrities malign her, then asked The Hollywood Reporter: "What would make someone be so full of hate?"
Palin was in Pella, Iowa, at the premiere of a documentary about her called The Undefeated, which opens with several minutes of Hollywood entertainers using some of the most vulgar language imaginable to express their displeasure with the former vice presidential candidate. Some appear genuinely angry, and director Steve Bannon cuts to news footage twice in the film of Palin being hung in effigy.
After the movie, as throngs of supporters and reporters clamored for attention, THR asked her: "In the first 10 minutes where all the celebrities are trashing you, how do you respond to something like that?"
Palin said she hadn't seen or heard much of the TV and radio footage before seeing it in the movie, which bleeped some of the dirtier language, though it was easy to determine what the entertainers were saying, including lots of profane references to the female anatomy.
"This is the first that I've seen much of that. It kind of takes you back," she told THR. "It makes you want to reach out to some of these folks and say, What's your problem? And what was the problem? And what is the problem?
"What would make a celebrity, like you saw on screen, so hate someone that they'd seek their destruction, their death, the death of their children? What would make someone be so full of hate and, I guess, a sense of being threatened that they would want to see that person destroyed?"
The movie begins with Sen. John McCain introducing his running mate, then quickly cuts to the Hollywood sign, and the music turns ominous. A TV news anchor says, "Hollywood has a new favorite pastime: taking aim at Sarah Palin."
Then the celebrity montage begins: Damon likens Palin to a "really bad Disney movie" and says she's "really scary"; Letterman attacks her, and the discourse descends in to the filthy from there. Maher insults her on his TV show, Madonna screams obscenities about her while on stage, and comedians use graphic, severely bleeped language to describe Palin and the intensity with which they "hate her."
When the montage is through, the screen goes dark and a Bible verse comes into focus: "By their fruits ye shall know them."
As things got pushy with the media and the rest of the crowd and a security detail got more aggressive in protecting the former governor of Alaska, THR asked if she intended on defending herself against future celebrity barbs.
"I think the movie does that for me. But you know, there's never really a venue that absolutely lets somebody set the record straight. I mean, there are so many false narratives about me, about Todd, about our kids, about my record, about my team that has worked so hard together, that there's never gonna be a way to absolutely set the record straight."
This is rich coming from someone who's such a fear mongering, hate inducing jackass.
The pair performed Donovan's classic 1966 album 'Sunshine Superman'
Backstage at London’s Royal Albert Hall last night, as the psychedelic folk-rock legend Donovan prepared to go on stage, a woman wheeled a harp hurriedly through a corridor, a Buddhist monk in flowing robes pressed fake pearls into the hands of passing strangers and a security radio crackled to life. “When Jimmy goes on,” said a concerned-sounding male voice to nobody in particular, “it’s going to be very, very loud, okay?”
At that moment Jimmy Page – in a black short-sleeved shirt and black jeans, his shoulder-length gray hair tied in a very small ponytail – sauntered past, head down. Page, and his black Gibson Les Paul Custom, had been called into service to help Donovan, his arranger John Cameron and the London Contemporary Orchestra recreate his classic 1966 album Sunshine Superman virtually note-for-note for the thousands who had crammed into the venue.

Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, Booty Collins guest on Sly Stone's upcoming album
Hear Beck on Sly's classic 'Higher'
Sly Stone will serve no album before its time. Obviously - it's been 29 years since his last release. Though there have been hints of a new disc in the past, nothing has materialized... until now. On 16 August, Stone will finally - finally! - issue a brand-new recording.
Well... almost. I'm Back! Family And Friends is indeed a "new" album, but most of its 11 tracks are reworkings of Sly And The Family Stone's classic hits. Not to say that there aren't surprises to be had. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer and funk legend welcomes a pile-on of superstar guests on a majority of the cuts, including Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, Bootsy Collins and Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek, among others.

Indie writer Diablo Cody is set to make her first foray into directing. The Juno scribe will direct, as well as write, Christmas flick Lamb of God for Mandate Pictures. The religious-themed flick follows the story of a woman who loses her faith in God after a plane crash, but rediscovers it in it Vegas while living “the life of a sinner.” I find the assumption that Las Vegas is a wretched hive of scum and villainy kind of quaint, in this day and age. It's like being afraid of Times Square. On her Tumblr, Cody reassures us that the film is “not the cynicism-fest implied by the log line. It’s a nice Christmas story.”
Mandate Pictures and Diablo Cody have collaborated before, on Cody-scripted projects Juno and the upcoming Young Adult. Perhaps because of this prior relationship, Mandate is willing to give Cody her first shot at directing. Cody seems eager to step into the director’s chair. “If I hear a certain type of music for a scene, I don’t have to shyly suggest it. I can use it. If I picture an actor in a role, I can offer them said role” The writer said on her Tumblr. “I’m accustomed to riding shotgun...and for the first time, I get to be the Captain and Tennille. Holy shit.”
Cody’s films have been divisive in the past, her high-concept premises and pop-culture saturated scripts have inspired derision as well as admiration. While her films can be obnoxiously twee, she hardly exceeds the standard set by your average navel-gazing male indie protagonist. That quote above about Cody being able to choose the music has me worried, if she has total control we might get a soundtrack that’s even more obnoxious than Juno’s.
New York, NY, June 29, 2011 – The Weinstein Company (TWC) announced today that it will release Madonna’s “W.E.” on December 9, 2011 in New York and Los Angeles. The film will expand to additional markets in December, with wide release anticipated by mid-January. Madonna’s narrative feature directorial debut, W.E. is co-written by Madonna and Alek Keshishian, produced by Madonna and Kris Thykier and executive produced by Scott Franklin (BLACK SWAN). It stars Abbie Cornish (LIMITLESS), Andrea Riseborough (NEVER LET ME GO), James D’Arcy (MASTER AND COMMANDER: THE FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD), Oscar Isaac (DRIVE), Natalie Dormer (“The Tudors”), Richard Coyle (PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME), James Fox (SHERLOCK HOLMES) and Laurence Fox (“Inspector Lewis”). The announcement was made by TWC Co-Chairman Harvey Weinstein and TWC President of Theatrical Distribution and Home Entertainment Erik Lomis.
“Madonna beautifully interweaves past and present in W.E. It’s a very smart film, and a stunning feature directorial debut,” said Weinstein. “I’m incredibly excited about this movie and I wanted to give it a prominent release date.”
Madonna is represented by CAA and managed by Untitled Entertainment.
W.E. looks at the fabled romance between American Wallis Simpson and Britain’s King Edward VIII, who famously gave up the throne to marry the woman he loved. More than six decades later, their story enthralls a young woman named Wally Winthrop, who thinks she sees in their devotion a stark contrast to her own unhappy marriage – and an example to follow as she searches for the meaning of true love. The cast features Abbie Cornish, Andrea Riseborough, James D’Arcy and Oscar Isaac.

In an effort to alert motorists to the traffic nightmare that might arrive when the 405 Freeway is closed next month, officials have pulled out all the stops: Press conferences, advertising, email blasts and warning messages on seemingly every electronic freeway message sign in the region.
But this being Hollywood, officials are also turning to celebrities.
The Los Angeles Police Department on Wednesday said it has requested that celebrities with large Twitter followings –- including actors, musicians and professional athletes -– send out messages helping authorities get the word out. Officials want the celebrities not just to urge their followers about avoiding the 10-mile stretch of the roadway that will be closed on the weekend of July 15 but to encourage them to stay close to home.
The LAPD said it is making contact with representatives for Lady Gaga (nearly 11.3 million followers), Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore (7 million and 3.7 million respectively) and Kim Kardashian ( 8 million followers). None of the celebrities have sent out warning tweets yet, but officials hope they will do so closer to the closure dates.

Brad Pitt has been approached for a new Hollywood movie depicting "Operation Checkmate," the effort by Colombian police, intelligence and military to rescue 15 hostages held captive by the FARC in the Colombian jungle for six years, reported Deadline Wednesday.
Pitt has not publicly announced that he will commit to the project which has been titled "The Mission," but according to Deadline his agent and producers are talking.
David O Russell, director of the satirical Gulf War movie "Three Kings" as well as "The Fighter" and "I Heart Huckabees" will direct the film.
The motion picture will tell the story of the six-year effort to rescue Ingrid Betancourt, a Colombian presidential candidate, as well as three American military contractors and several Colombian military and police officers from their FARC captors. On July 2, 2008 a Colombian helicopter landed in the jungle and rescued all 15 hostages without firing a shot.
There have been allegations in Colombia and Ecuador that the Colombian government paid FARC for the hostages released, as asserted in the Ecuadorean documentary "Operation Checkmate: A Less That Perfect Game." Ex-president Alvaro Uribe, whose administration oversaw the mission, has strongly denied these allegations. The prosecutor general of Colombia Tuesday said it was investigating possible payments made by Uribe to the FARC.

Even in this apparent golden age of television, many vaunted, low-rated series never die. In the cases of cult favorites like Arrested Development and Party Down, they live on in the cruel, teasing limbo of the hypothetical movie spinoff. Party Down would seem to have the advantage over Arrested Development in that regard, as the cast and creators of the show—which focuses on a group of aspiring Hollywood types who spend more time making drinks and prepping appetizers than attending auditions—have managed to gather in the same room several times since its unceremonious 2010 cancellation. Most recently, they were in Austin, Texas, attending a daylong marathon of all 20 Party Down episodes presented by the Alamo Drafthouse. During one of two audience Q&As during the event, showrunner Rob Thomas revealed a further leg up on Arrested Development: A real, legitimate Party Down movie is in development, and could shoot as early as the spring of 2012. During the marathon, The A.V. Club met with Thomas, his co-creators John Enbom and Dan Etheridge, and stars Lizzy Caplan, Ryan Hansen, Ken Marino, Megan Mullally, Adam Scott, and Martin Starr for a brief, laugh-punctuated discussion of what aspects of Party Down would work best in 3D, where the movie might take the characters (physically and emotionally), and the sage advice of one Steve Guttenberg.

Jada Pinkett Smith covers the August 2011 issue of REDBOOK Magazine where she talks about making sacrifices for her family.
In an article that hits stands on July 12, Jada Pinkett Smith talks to REDBOOK about making sacrifices for her family.
On putting family first:
"I had to make choices. Believe me, I would still be on the road with my band, Wicked Wisdom, and making as many movies as I can a year, and doing all sorts of other things if I didn't have the responsibility of a family. But I have children with their own talents and dreams, and I know I have to be standing next to them for that journey."
On giving up on her rockstar dreams:
“It was excruciating, completely excruciating. When Jaden was auditioning for The Pursuit of Happyness, my band had just gotten an offer to open for Guns N’ Roses in Europe. For me, that was unbelievable. But the choice was: I could be a rock star, or I could be on the set with my son to make sure he was healthy and happy. We all know how that story ended!”
On raising her kids in Hollywood:
"Let me tell you what I fear most: Them growing up like I did, in a house with drugs in a war zone, where if I walked out my door I could be shot. Hollywood ain't nothing compared to that! Growing up in the streets of Baltimore, or the streets of Philly where Will grew up — I'd rather have my kids here. It still makes me nervous that they're part of something that isn't totally real, but it's up to Will and me to teach them what's real and what's not."
Resized my image, mods!

Jonny Fairplay's grandma -- whose death he lied about on "Survivor" -- claims Jonny's estranged wife RAMMED her car during a HEATED vehicular stand-off earlier this month ... and then fled the scene.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Jonny's estranged wife -- former "America's Next Top Model" contestant Michelle Deighton -- came back to Jonny's house to pick up some of her stuff. Problem was, Jonny had changed the locks while she was gone -- and Michelle couldn't get in.
Jonny was out of town at the time -- and according to the report, when his Grandma rolled up to check on things, Michelle was already there. G-ma informed Michelle she was trespassing and then blocked her van in the driveway while she called police.
According to the report, Michelle allegedly rammed granny's car trying to get out -- and then took off across the front yard, empty-handed. Attempts to reach Michelle weren't successful.
Jonny's grandma went to the hospital this weekend to get checked out -- but she still ain't dead, despite what her license plate says ... "DEAD-GMA." No kidding. It's in the report.

"Bleeding Cool is reporting that a total of 13 deleted scenes (with a span of 14 minutes) will be included on the upcoming Blu-Ray/DVD release of Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class. Below are the details concerning the running time and what exactly the scenes will be about...
Judging from a listing in the BBFC database, there’s going to be thirteen of them, with a total runtime of under fourteen minutes. So they’ll be brief. Not a surprise as the film had a really snappy pace.
Judging from what Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman told me back at the time of the release, much of the deleted material would revolve around Moira MacTaggart, her work at the CIA and her relationship with Charles."
A likely story tbh. I predict thirteen separate takes of Fassy in drag.

According to British newspaper The Sun, paramedics answering an emergency call discovered The Tudors actor on the floor of his £3m home. They were reportedly forced to call police after he refused treatment for over 30 minutes.
"This is very sad. It was the opinion of those present that he tried to take his life," a source told the publication.
Jonathan was discharged in the early hours yesterday and told The Sun “No comment”, when asked how he was.
One of his female neighbours had expressed her concern for the actor, explaining how friendly he is.
"I saw the ambulance arriving and was worried to death,” said the resident.
"Jonathan is a lovely guy. You see him all the time in the street. He says hello and is very pleasant. I hope he is fine."
Jonathan recently left a five-star rehabilitation centre in South Africa, and has struggled with alcohol issues for some time. The actor has spoken in the past about his drinking problem.
"When I do drink I'm like Bambi. I'm all over the place like a 16-year-old kid,” he is quoted as saying.

Publisher pleads with fans: No spoilers for new George R.R. Martin book
Fans of HBO's "Game of Thrones" may be grumbling about having to wait a year until next season, but for the millions who read the books on which the show is based, that may seem like a very short time indeed. George R.R. Martin's series "A Song of Ice and Fire" is a six-book fantasy series, but the fourth book came out in 2005 and there have been no releases since then. In the interim, fans have been getting kind of antsy, with many turning on Martin for taking so long to write the story.
Perhaps that's why, with 14 days left until the fifth book finally arrives in stores, Martin's publishers have made an official plea online to anyone in the U.K. who has an embargoed copy of "A Dance With Dragons" to refrain from posting any spoilers about the long-awaited tome. Also, they'd appreciate it if you stayed off of any unofficial "GRRM" sites, in case someone does decide to leak some crucial bit of information.
An excerpt from the post on Voyager Publishing's website, titled "A Plea to George R.R. Martin fans":
And so, Voyager is asking you – if you can bear it – to avoid your favourite GRRM-related sites (except for George’s official site, and the Voyager site of course, where we will be screening comments as always) to ensure that the latest instalment of this epic story is not spoiled for you. You’ve got a remarkable journey ahead of you, and some stunning surprises, and nothing should come between you and that experience. The embargo is now being thoroughly enforced by all accounts and customers around the world to ensure that no more copies are sold early.
It seems odd to ask fans to stay away from message boards about their favorite series. Information is usually leaked one way or another in the entertainment industry (look at all the musicians whose albums have been put online before the release date!), and people will choose to click on it, or they won't. Begging them to stay away from the communities that generate the most buzz about the upcoming book doesn't just seem futile, but counterproductive as well.
Eh, I'll risk it. I lack the resolve to stay away from GoT party posts anyway.

In the past two years, Megan Mullally has had pivotal roles on three of the most critically-acclaimed comedies on TV, starring on Childrens Hospital and Party Down and recurring on her husband Nick Offerman’s series, Parks and Recreation. The trio of characters she plays on these shows has displayed her diverse abilities, ranging from a sex-crazed, handicapped hospital boss to a caring stage mother to a devilish and manipulative librarian. As if playing such disparate roles with aplomb weren’t enough to show off Mullally’s versatility, she’s also an accomplished musician, has numerous Broadway credits, and has won two Emmys for playing Karen Walker on the long-running sitcom Will & Grace. On Childrens Hospital, Megan Mullally plays Chief, the extremely handicapped head of staff at the medical center, who’s the object of desire for many of her fellow doctors, despite her often-cartoonish physical ailments. Beyonce's fourth studio album as a solo artist, appropriately titled "4," was released this week to generally strong reviews. But will it bring her more Grammy glory? Yes, if history is any indication.
Beyonce holds one Grammy record, and she's within striking distance of another. In 2010, the singer won six awards, more than any other female artist in a single year. Those prizes brought Beyonce's overall haul to 16, which places her third among women, trailing only Aretha Franklin, who has 18, and country veteran Alison Krauss, whose 26 career wins makes her Grammy's third-most-awarded artist overall.
Beyonce will probably overtake Franklin before long, but can she catch up to Krauss? Next year, the two could potentially go head to head in the album of the year race for the first time; Krauss also has a new album in the running, "Paper Airplane," recorded with her frequent collaborators, Union Station. It's a race in which Krauss has a decided edge.

Suggests His Penis Might Be Bigger Than Sylvester Stallone’s
When Thomas Jane was let go from the Walter Hill-directed, Sylvester Stallone-starring Headshot, he was quickly replaced with Fast Five’s Sung Kang, giving rise to whispered rumors that producer Joel Silver was inspired to restructure the film after a late-night viewing of Rush Hour or something. While that’s still just our own speculation, Collider’s recent interview with Jane does confirm that his firing came about because Silver was looking to recreate the magical race-mixing formula that is so key to creating a successful buddy cop movie: “Well, Joel Silver came onboard the project and said that he has a quote-unquote ‘formula’ for these quote-unquote ‘buddy movies’ and it has to be a white guy and a quote-unquote ‘ethnic guy,’” Jane says. “And they relieved me of duty and basically paid me off, which I was really upset about, you know?” Adding further insult, Jane says his would-be partner Stallone didn’t even seem to care that he’d left: “I didn't get a call from Stallone. I was a little upset about that,” Jane says, adding, “Maybe they didn't want anybody on the movie with a bigger dick than him.” (via AV Club)

Drew Barrymore has come aboard to direct and produce Heist Society, a young adult thriller being made by Warner Bros.
Barrymore joins Denise Di Novi and Di Novi Pictures' Alison Greenspan as producers on the project, which Warners won last year in a multi-studio bidding war for the novel by Ally Carter. Screenwriter Shauna Cross is set to adapt.
The book follows a young woman named Katarina Bishop who hails from an extended family of cat burglars and master thieves. The girl leaves her illicit life behind, but when her father is the prime suspect in the case of a mobster's missing art collection, she assembles a crew to track down the art and steal it back.
The studio is aging the characters a notch into their early 20s. Barrymore will also supervise the writing.
By attaching herself to Society, Barrymore is again working with Cross, who wrote Whip It, Barrymore’s well-regarded female-centric roller derby flick starring Ellen Page and Kristen Wiig, among others.
Barrymore, repped by CAA, is signed to helm How to Be Single, a New Line romantic comedy, and the plan is to tackle Society after Single.
Norm Lewis, Audra McDonald, and David Alan Grier will star as Porgy, Bess, and Sportin' Life in A.R.T.'s new production of The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess. Performances will begin August 17 at the Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, where it will run until October 2. The show's next stop will be on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theater, where it will begin previews on December 17th and will open on January 12th, 2012.
Gershwin's seminal American opera Porgy and Bess is being re-imagined by A.R.T.'s Artistic Director Diane Paulus, Pulitzer prize-winning writer Suzan-Lori Parks, and two-time Obie winner Diedre Murray. The creative team was charged by the Gershwin Trusts and the Heyward Trust to create a version with a unique identity as a musical. The team also includes choreographer Ronald K. Brown, set designer Riccardo Hernandez, costume designer Emilio Sosa, Tony Award-winning lighting designer Christopher Akerlind, sound by ACME Sound Partners, and casting by Telsey + Company. This production of The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess will be presented in association with Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel.
Johnny Depp has worn a lot of hats in the movies (and not just as the Mad Hatter): He's played a bank robber, drug dealer, policeman, barber, novelist, CIA agent, chocolatier, and, of course, pirate. Now he may add magician to the list. Depp is reportedly at the top of Warner Bros.' wish list to play the lead character in Carter Beats the Devil, as real-life 1920s magician Charles Carter in a fictional caper involving President Warren G. Harding and a sawed-in-half trick gone wrong.
Attempts have been made before to bring the 2002 novel by Glen David Gold to the screen (Tom Cruise was once attached), but now the film is back on the fast track. Trying to picture Depp in the role? Imagine him in a tux and a turban, instead of a top hat, as in the book's cover illustration. A new version of the script has been completed and the studio is actively seeking directors and its leading man.
Depp is currently filming Dark Shadows for Tim Burton and slated to play Tonto in a big-screen version of The Lone Ranger.
Fun! "Sawed-in-half trick gone wrong" sounds like a hoot.

Any good geek to chic stories, ONTD???
Over night, the internet exploded with the news that, in a recent interview with OK Magazine, former teen idol Aaron Carter claimed that Michael Jackson had once given him cocaine and booze -- all when he was only 15-years-old.
Yet today, the audio of Daphne Barak's interview with Carter was posted online -- revealing that Carter said no such thing!
According to a transcript of the audio, the now 23-year-old instead told tabloid-journalist Daphne Barak that he once attended a party at Neverland Ranch with his older brother Nick, actor Chris Tucker, and many other guests. During the party, Carter witnessed Jackson drinking alcohol. "It was fun," he said, "'cause I don't think Michael ever really got a chance to do stuff like that."
"Did you have a drink [at the party]?" Daphne asked.
"Yeah, a little," Carter replied.
When later questioned about Michael Jackson having an alleged addiction to prescription drugs, Carter plainly stated: "I personally didn't see any drug addiction issues [with Michael]."
"I mean, there was definitely things that were just different, you know, weird," he said of the singer's behavior, before again conceding that "the time that I spent with him, yes, he was fine."
The interview ended with Aaron playing a Michael Jackson song on piano, as a tribute. "I wanted to express a message to him so that he could hear it," the singer said. "I want to protect his legacy. It's funny because a lot of the things that Michael did that I want to do."
There you have it. No cocaine. No adult purposefully supplying a minor with alcohol. No phone calls to the police. So how did this massive twisting-of-words come about? The answer may lie with the article's author. . . .

A crazed fan jumped into the ring during Wednesday’s Celebrity Boxing bout featuring Nadya “Octo-Mom” Suleman and managed to get his hands on her before security sent him on his way.
Things started out on track, with the mother-of-14, clad in oversize gloves, holding her own against radio personality Jen DJ Posner in the match at Bellmawr, New Jersey establishment Pennant East.
Octo-Mom’s "swinging like a rusty gate!" bellowed Star magazine's Senior Executive Editor Dylan Howard, who provided hysterical guest color commentary for the event.
Things went awry, however, when the belligerent fan jumped into the ring, tossing out marriage proposals.
"Will you please marry me? Will you please marry me? ... I'm a Paul Heyman guy! I'm a Paul Heyman guy!" the intruder said, making a sly reference to a controversial promo delivered by pro wrestler C.M. Punk on Monday Night Raw earlier this week.
The event's promoter, Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman, then tried to talk sense into the fellow, who pushed past him and wrapped his arms around Suleman before a hulking security guard put the clamps down on the out-of-control spectator.
"And security has been force to intervene!" bellowed Howard. "Octo-Mom has been ... accosted!"
Thankfully, Suleman, 34, was not harmed in the incident.

In just over a month, Kreayshawn’s “Gucci Gucci” video racked up more than 4 million YouTube views, earning the pint-sized Oakland rapper/director/DJ and her White Girl Mob a few new fans, including one Snoop Dogg. A record deal with Columbia quickly followed her viral success, and this summer, the 21-year-old will head on a mini-tour before dropping her debut. In the meantime, Kreayshawn would like to remind you that her creative game has been bubbling for some time now.
After ditching the film program at UC Berkeley, she directed music videos for Soulja Boy and Lil B. Next, she’ll direct the Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ new video, “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie.” Her latest single, ”Rich Whores,” picks up right where “Gucci Gucci” left off.
What inspired your signature look—heavy black eyeliner, hoop earrings?
Growing up, my mom did the eyeliner thing so she taught me how to do it. I also used to buy the $3.00 bamboo earrings every day, but I finally got some real ones, so now I wear these every day.
What about the tattoos?
Everything seems to come back to my mom, because she’s covered in tattoos. When I was 15, I snuck off and got my first tattoo on my neck—the ice cream cone. I didn’t think at all. It was like, ‘Oh I like ice cream! I’m getting ice cream.’ My mom still gives advice like, ‘don’t be out late, make sure you’re not partying too much,’ but she’s super young and doesn’t really have the mom voice. She’s down and she says this is the best thing happening in her life right now, which makes me feel good.

She "SIGNED WEEKS AGO"
Christina Aguilera will return for season 2 of The Voice, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Despite reports she may depart the NBC hit, a source tells THR she "signed weeks ago."
Aguilera played coy when asked by reporters at Wednesday's finale.
She makes $225,000 per episode, as THR revealed in a cover story earlier this month. Fellow coaches Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton make about $75,000 each.
Levine told THR Wednesday that he hopes to return as well: "If they’ll have me, I’d be delighted to be back."
But even if the panel is eventually switched up, Carson Daly doesn't think it will affect the singing competition.
"This show is bigger than any of its coaches or the host," he told the New York Post. "This show will live on in perpetuity with many a star in those chairs."
Season 2 kicks of in February right after the Super Bowl.
Javier Colon beat out Dia Frampton to win the show Wednesday.
The finalists will kick off a six-stop summer tour in July. Before that, most are already in the recording studio working on albums.

Macho Man Randy Savage died from a serious "cardiac event" he suffered moments before plowing his car into a tree last month -- this according to the Pinellas County Medical Examiner.
According to the medical examiner, Savage suffered from cardiovascular disease -- and the deadly "cardiac event" resulted from the condition.
According to the toxicology report, Savage tested positive for alcohol and hydrocodone (an opiate) during the time of his death ... but neither played a role in his death.
As previously reported, the wrestler's brother said Savage experienced a heart attack before the accident -- and that's what caused him to lose control of his vehicle on a Florida highway and slam into a tree.
Stevie Nicks, Adam Levine, Javier Colon, Cee Lo Green, Vicci Martinez, and Pat Monahan (in that order) are interviewed.
Regarding season two, Adam Levine revealed to "Extra's" Adrianna Costa, "I am coming back next year." Blake Shelton confirmed his return, but had a disclaimer. "Next year I'm pickin' people I hate, because emotionally, I can't take this anymore."
Cee Lo, who will signed on for another season said, "I've definitely been asked and I'm definitely interested." Aguilera is also set to come back for the next season.
The mentors all agreed that Javier was the best choice for the winner with Christina adding, "Javier's amazing!"
After Colon's win, he beamed, "I feel very blessed to be crowned the winner. It's been a blur ever since. I'm very thankful."
The finale featured performances by Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks and country singer Miranda Lambert. Regarding the popularity of reality competition shows, Nicks revealed, "If Lindsey [Buckingham] and I moved out here today and we were 22 years old, we would be in the line, we would do it."
I'm glad Javier won, even though I liked Vicci.
Stevie is an angel, Adam is sexy, etc.

It seems that actor Ewan McGregor and his wife Eve Mavrakis have added to their brood!
Though there was no official announcement, the Scottish star let the baby news slip during a recent interview for his new film Beginners.
Asked how he juggles family life with movie-making, Ewan replied, "My wife and four girls - 15, two nine-year-olds and a baby of four months - often come with me if it's a holiday or my locations and their schedules allow.... Sometimes we uproot them and put them in another school."
Not much is known about the couple's fourth daughter, but she joins a trio of big sisters: Clara, 15, Esther, 9, and Jamiyan, also 9, who was adopted from Mongolia 5 years ago.
Congratulations to Ewan and family on their new arrival!
It’s not just Cheryl Cole whose relationship status has changed thanks to The X Factor (or lack thereof, in her case!). While Cheryl is busy getting back together with her ex-husband Ashley, Simon Cowell’s relationship with American Idol makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy is on the rocks.
It’s understood that with The X Factor both here and in the US to look after, as well as other shows including Red or Black, Simon simply doesn’t have the time for love!
“Simon thinks she is lovely, but he just doesn’t have the time for her,” a pal said. “He was in love with her, but popped the question before realising he was moving too quickly.
“Simon likes to think of himself as the eternal bachelor – poor Mezhgan didn’t stand a chance! Work will always be his number one priority.”
The insider continued: “They have only seen each other a handful of times since the New Year, and they both know this is not the basis of a long-lasting marriage.”
According to Star magazine, Mezhgan is “hurt but understanding” about the split.
But a source close to the music mogul added: “When he’s got more time, who know s what could happen? Simon might surprise us all and change his priorities”
The pair reportedly got engaged in February of last year.
official reason for breaking up - "too busy"
actual reason for breaking up:
Chilling with the Middletons. Tweeting from Davos. And still the people's princess. If not for that tragic night, what her life might look like now.
After Diana’s death, nine years after the car crash in the Paris tunnel, I attended a ball at Althorp, her ancestral home in the English county of Northamptonshire. The party was hosted, improbably, by Mikhail Gorbachev (with Tatler magazine) to raise money for his late wife’s foundation. The crowd partying in the tent that night was Diana’s crowd—the London über-swirl of fashion and society and media. Had she been there, Diana would have lit up the gathering with her radiant blondeness. Sitting next to old Gorby, she would have caused his birthmark to flush deeper as she leaned in to hear him speak of his wife, Raisa, grasping his hand as she fixed her big blue eyes on him.
Diana would have been 50 this month. What would she have been like?

David Benioff and Dan Weiss, writers and producers of Game of Thrones, were interviewed recently on a Sirius Radio show called What’s Worth Watching hosted by Jon Heim and Jenny Hutt. In the interview they talk mostly about the usual stuff (the child actors are great, George’s story is brilliant, etc.) although they do drop a few new interesting tidbits (Jack Gleeson smokes a pipe!). But there are two exchanges that I think were particularly interesting for devoted fans of the series. One has to do with character cuts and one has to do with the season two storyline.
Charlize Theron rejects marriage
Charlize Theron has admitted that she does not intend to every get married, claiming that it just isn’t for her. Charlize admitted that, while she is keen to work on a steady stable relationship, she does not feel that getting married would really serve a purpose in her life.
Theron said, "I'll be the first to say, here on your show, marriage, before I felt this way about [marriage equality], was never something that was important to me. I don't know the exact reason for that. Some would say because I came from a very troubled marriage. My parents did not have a good marriage, but I don't think it's that."
Charlize then continued, "I really want for myself a long term relationship, and I have been in long term relationships. That's the kind of union that I want. The actual ceremony is not something that is important to me, but I see the importance for other people." Charlize Theron is set to star as The Evil Queen in Snow White and the Huntsman.

It’s now been six weeks since Lil B dropped the Bitch Mob, which is like a thousand years in Based World. This time last year we were getting rare and legendary musical gifts from B on a nearly daily basis. The Based God works in mysterious ways. Just as a few of his devotees (namely me) were turning restless, last night his controversial I’m Gay dropped on iTunes, unexpectedly like bird shit.
The record’s title has served as such a talking point that it was easy to forget that there was an actual album behind it. In fact for a while it seemed entirely possible that it might’ve suffered the fate of the much lamented lost album Black Ken. But if you divorce I’m Gay from the controversy of its title (which may never happen because controversy is more popular than music these days) you can process it as just another Lil B album, a mature effort of the Angels Exodus and Illusions of Grandeur lineage. Sample-driven boom bap production (okay one of the samples is a Goo Goo Dolls sample, but still), personal, sociopolitcally charged, traditional and mostly lucid rhymes. Very few mentions of swag or pretty bitches or tiny jeans. In fact, he doesn’t even talk of his gayness (or straightness) once on the album. But maybe that was his plan all along—shock the world the title, only to have them come and witness his straightforward serious rap shit. Sample album track “I Hate Myself,” below, then buy I’m Gay on iTunes.
Make sure you go out and cop that "I'm Gay", I certainly will be along with an extra pair of smedium shirts and tiny jeans. Buy on iTunes and Support the Basedgod

Starz has cancelled its Arthurian fantasy Camelot after one season.
Camelot received middling reviews from critics and had somewhat ho-hum ratings, averaging less than a million viewers per episode. The lavish series also had trouble generating much buzz after it launched alongside HBO’s breakout fantasy Game of Thrones and Showtime’s better-reviewed historical drama The Borgias. Starz’ genre fans can at least look forward to the upcoming Torchwood and the return of Spartacus next year.
