(ABOVE: The most unbelievable 9/11 tale of three icons’ daring retreat from a city in crisis—told Taiwanese animation style!)
The last, strange decade of Elizabeth’s life began with one of the most cataclysmic events in American history, the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Michael Jackson was in New York, where he’d just given two concerts, on the 7th and 10th of September, at Madison Square Garden, to which he had brought two of his closest friends and idols: Marlon Brando and Elizabeth. His original idea had been for them to sit onstage like two great Easter Island figureheads flanking the show, but instead they sat in the audience. All three found themselves trapped in the city after the Twin Towers fell. Michael had gotten a call from friends in Saudi Arabia who warned that America was under attack. He hollered down the hallway of his hotel for everyone in his entourage, and for Brando, to leave immediately. Elizabeth was staying at another hotel, the St. Regis, a few blocks away.
Now here’s where the story gets complicated. . . .

Country Star Blake Shelton Tweets for Violence?
On March 5, country music star Blake Shelton scored his eighth No. 1 hit on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for his cover of "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking."
Tonight, however, people were looking when a tweet from his personal, verified account appeared to advocate anti-LGBT violence.
The tweet -- which claims to be a "re-writ[e]" of Shania Twain's "Any Man of Mine" -- states that if a man "tries Touching my behind He's gonna be a beaten, bleedin', heaving kind of guy..."
Shelton currently also is a "vocal coach" on the NBC show The Voice. The other coaches include Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green.
The tweet in question:
OsamaBreak. Back to the royal wedding for a moment, shall we? Remember Princess Beatrice's ridiculous hat? Sure you do. It was on the fast-track to becoming the next great meme. Cats were jumping out of it, it was lording over Mordor — we were just getting cooking! Now it's all "fake death photo" this and that. (Though kudos to the visionary Photoshopper who dared to collide the two worlds in the mash-up above.)
Philip Treacy — the clearly lunatic milliner who created that beige, inverted-octopus monstrosity — has at last broken his deafening silence. Dr. Frankenstein, what can you tell us about your monster?
"My inspiration was beauty and elegance. It's a 21st century royal wedding. No, they didn't tell me [what they wanted] because I've known them for a long time and I wanted them to look gorgeous and beautiful. Gorgeous and beautiful can be open to interpretation. I thought they looked gorgeous and beautiful. But no one is crying if anyone didn't."
"How a hat makes you feel is what a hat is all about. The head is the most important part of the body to embellish, because it's what you meet."
Funny he should mention that. Shortly after the wedding, the hat escaped, befriending a young farmer's daughter before accidentally drowning her in a lake. It was last seen being chased by torch-wielding villagers across the English countryside. Approach with extreme caution.
I know there are SOME country fans on here from time to time.
"Oh no," I thought to looking at the picture at left. "Someone mixed up the Palin girls, and labeled this girl 'Bristol Palin.'" But lo! The female at left really is Bristol Palin. And so is the female at right. Did our beloved Teen Mom 2: Republican Boogaloo star use some of that abstinence advocacy money on plastic surgery? Or is her new face the product of normal weight fluctuation?

In this week’s cover story, EW looks at how the fourth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean mega-franchise, On Stranger Tides (out May 20), attempts to reverse course from the previous two installments and return to the stand-alone spirit of the original. “I felt if we were going to do a 4, that more than anything we owed the audience a fresh start, without all the complicated mathematics of 1 colliding with 2 and 2 colliding with 3,” Depp says. “I felt like it was important to eliminate as many complications as possible.”

In American Outlaw, James’ take-no-prisoner auto-bio released this week, the 42-year-old grease monkey recalled a road trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the star of Miss Congeniality. He said a simple request by Bullock that he lower the volume of the radio triggered a sense of entrapment.
“I lowered it. Of course I did,” he writes. “That’s what any husband would do for his high-class wife. She wasn’t some whore in the back of a Daytona nightclub: She was a lady, with gentler tastes,” James wrote. “But in the back of my mind, I couldn’t help but feel kind of cheated. It was like I was Huckleberry Finn or something, when Widow Douglas decides to adopt him. They were ‘sivilizing’ me, and I didn’t know how to make them stop.’”
James said he had become “Sandra Bullock’s husband” and a reality TV personality, neither of which felt human to him. He fantasized about stepping away from all the responsibility of his West Coast Choppers enterprise but couldn’t because of his public image with Bullock.
“If I closed West Coast down, it would hurt Sandy. That was the catch. In the eyes of the public, my fate was directly tied to hers. So just like I couldn’t punch somebody’s teeth out on the red carpet, I couldn’t really f**k up businesswise, either, because it would reflect badly upon her, and probably affect her successful image,” James wrote.
“You’re trapped, I thought suddenly. It came out of nowhere, but you’re trapped pretty good, aren’t you?"
The motorcycle mogul confessed that he never felt good enough for Bullock, 46, and was never really convinced that she loved him!
Jesse James has a clear case of the Madonna-whore complex.
Naya Rivera, who plays cheerleader Santana Lopez on Fox's hit musical series "Glee," will host the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation [GLAAD] Media Awards' San Francisco ceremony this year, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The ceremony, which will take place May 14 at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, will also honor "Sex and the City" star Kim Cattrall with the Golden Gate Award. The honor goes to "professionals who, through their work, have increased the visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community."
"America's Best Dance Crew" host Mario Lopez and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Sara Ramirez will serve as special guests at the San Francisco ceremony, which was preceded by ceremonies in New York on March 19 and Los Angeles April 10.
"Glee" won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comedy Series this year, the second year in a row it has done so.
I can only assume GLAAD will be presenting Naya with an award for her dedicated to making heterosexual women around the world gayer than the gardening clog department at the Provincetown Macy's.
Lionsgate is keeping mum about the casting of Haymitch in The Hunger Games movie, easily the most anticipated casting choice left go -- but rumors online say Woody Harrelson may now be in the running.
Previously, John C. Reilly was named a frontrunner for the part of Haymitch, but now it looks like he's no longer in the running. (Most likely, this is due to Reilly choosing a different project). Earlier reports said that Harrelson, along with Stanley Tucci and Lenny Kravitz, were all likely to be offered roles in The Hunger Games.
Initially, Harrelson was being linked to the role of Seneca Crane -- but now, E! Online reports that Harrelson may now be in talks to play Haymitch.
Of course, much could still change in the negotiations process -- but Harrelson could easily embrace the qualities of Haymitch, based on his past body of work.

Singer, songwriter and self proclaimed ringmaster Emma Dean is a hobobag full of crazy pills. Like the really awesome hallucinogenic kind. Driven by her child-like imagination and bouncy exuberance, her new album “Dr Dream and the Imaginary Pop Cabaret” has a title that describes it’s sound with sheer perfection.
It’s a sideshow behind a piano; it’s a carnival of kook; it’s a sing-along striptease; and Emma Dean is the neurotic cabaret songstress to lead the chorus of freaks. Just sample her monster Broadway single “Sincerely Fearful,” which is 50% “Wicked” and 50% Tori Amos and 100% addictive, and you will find an unavoidable sound worthy of the repeat button.
has just released her new music video for her song 'Something They Can Hold', just in time for her Australian Tour. Tour dates HERE or HERE
Emma Dean has become the guilty pleasure of the underground with nationally sold-out shows, festival appearances and supports with Amanda Palmer, The Dresden Dolls and Katie Noonan. Her unique shows feature Emma's 'Imaginary Friends' creating a menagerie of fantasy to accompany her piano-driven music.
I think the clip is really beautiful and intense. Not sure how many, if there are any Emma Dean fans on here, but she's worth going to see if you can! Very entertaining :D
THISCLOSE to getting the role of Haymitch a couple weeks ago, there hasn't been much movement since, and in fact, recent production updates from @larry411 have not included John's name as a cast member.
Now a new article from E! Online's Ted Casablanca says that John is no longer in the running for Haymitch, and that instead it looks like Woody Harrelson is the front runner.
But first, here's some juice fresh from the set that didn't get zipped, regarding who's being considered for the plum role of Haymitch.
And guess what?
Apparently, it isn't John C. Reilly, who was rumored to be close to nabbing the part.
Despite numerous reports saying the actor was the top contender for the meaty and crusty middle-aged Haymitch role, a source close to the film tells us exclusively that the part is not going to Reilly.
Good thing we like Lionsgate's next idea for Haymitch even better! Our Hunger mole tells us the production's currently smitten with Woody Harreslson, who we think could actually nail the bad-ass role.
However, good luck getting any this stuff officially confirmed: we're told until every role is cast and every deal is done, the actors in the film have been put on a gag order.
Check out the rest of the article at E! Online to read more about Lionsgate keeping a tight wrap on all casting information.
Note that NY Mag's Vulture blog (who originally broke the news about Woody being considered for The Hunger Games) said that Woody was up for the role of Seneca Crane; EW confirmed Woody was being considered for a role, but didn't know what role.
Celebrities flock to comedienne Chelsea Handler's late night talk show 'Chelsea Lately' to promote their latest projects and crack a few jokes. But sometimes the jokes hit a little too close to home. The leading lady of the upcoming film 'Jumping the Broom' Paula Patton sat down with Handler and talked about her career and family including husband Robin Thicke. But when the subject of her blonde haired blue eyed son Julian came up, it seemed like Handler hit a nerve.
"He's blond, he has blue eyes. It's crazy. Everybody's like, did you have anything to do with this? They think we like adopted a Russian child...and everyday I'm like he's gonna get blacker, no look," Patton said.
She was all smiles chatting with Handler, but it's a bit sad that she's mistaken for her son's nanny, as Handler was quick to point out.
What's so comical and cute about someone confusing a famous actress with "the help"? Patton isn't the only mother to have experienced this case of mistaken identity. Several publications like 'Essence,' 'The New York Times' and NPR have reported on the issue.
Patton went on to explain that "blackness takes time" and "a tan is coming in, the hair's curlier, I'm telling you."
We've told you before about the awful lingering war in the Congo that's resulted in more than 5 million deaths since it began in 1996. One of the gruesome realities of the brutal conflict is the violence suffered by the women of the Congo. Author Jason Stearns told us recently that as many as 400,000 women a year are raped in the country. One of the few organizations that's worked tirelessly to keep the world's attention on this forgotten conflict is the Enough Project. Javier Bardem sat down with Enough Project founder John Prendergast to talk about women and mothers in eastern Congo, and ask all of us to honor Mother's Day this year by speaking out on their behalf.

It seems Rihanna has yet another celebrity admirer, this time in the form of record-breaking singer, Adele.
The Someone Like You hitmaker has revealed that she has a major girl crush on flame-haired RiRi, joining the likes of Cheryl Cole who has also confessed her love for the saucy star.
Speaking to The Sun about her feelings for the What's My Name singer, Adele confessed that she would even consider having sex with Rihanna…but only if the Barbadian beauty was up for it.
The songstress admitted to the tabloid: "If Rihanna wanted me, I'd do it with her. She's hot."
Adele went onto claim that her infatuation with RiRi started when she performed on The X Factor last year, with the Rolling In The Deep star explaining: "She had pinstripe flares on. She whipped them off and there were her stunning thighs."
She continued: "I said to all my girlfriends: 'Are you feeling a bit gay right now?'"
Adele has previously confessed that she felt "possessed" by Rihanna and that she loves Katy Perry and Lady Gaga's boobs and bum.
Like any other self-respecting homo, I love Elizabeth Berkley.
In a new interview for Out magazine she talks about her new advice book for teenage girls, Showgirls and why gay men love it so much, and the possibility of doing Showgirls 2 (which, sadly, there seems to be none).
Check out the video around 2:25 when she starts crying because the gays gave her the strength to chug a jug of drano after Showgirls tanked:

Tracey Gold has had her fair share of “growing pains,” but after conquering her battle with anorexia, she wants to help other women do the same. The sitcom star exclusively told In Touch about her new series, The Tracey Gold Project, at the A&E Television Network's 2011 Upfront Presentation in NYC. “It’s a show close to my heart. I came up with the idea,” Tracey explained. “It’s helping women with eating disorders. I went through it so publicly and it’s so personal to me. I thought it was a perfect match for me to help these women. I think they trust someone who has been through it before, rather than have it be an outsider or a doctor. I want to be a mentor and bond with them and help them into treatment, to get help and live their lives.”
Tracey, 41, said she didn’t reach out to former Full House star Candace Cameron Bure since she recently went public with her battle with anorexia. “I think she went through an eating disorder way after I did,” Tracey added. “She came out about it maybe a month ago. It was about something way in the past.”

A scandalous photo of the tan and topless Pippa, 27, doing some dirty dancing with an unidentified similarly topless man, has surfaced . And although we've come to expect nothing less from the Middleton clan, it looks like Pippa sure was the life of the party -- although we have a feeling she kept things a bit more tame at sister, Kate Middleton, and Prince William's royal wedding reception.
Another photo of the stunner wearing a white mini dress and surrounded by bottles of liquor may also raise a royal eyebrow or two.
But the Buckingham bunch must have known that Pippa Middleton wasn't a total saint -- in 2008, Tatler magazined named her the 'No. 1 Society Singleton.'
If these Middleton siblings keep it up, Prince Harry may start to lose his resident bad boy status.

Yes, it can actually get worse for Sandra Bullock when it comes to her cheating ex, Jesse James.
After publicly humiliating her just days after she won a Best Actress Oscar for The Blind Side and leaving her to raise adopted son Louis on her own, James is now opening up some old wounds while on tour promoting his new book, American Outlaw.
Believe us, he'll get plenty of attention from the things he's revealing, like, (a) that he "wanted to get caught" when he was stepping out on the Speed sweetie, and (b) how all his ladies compare in the sack—including Bullock. And while it's probably time for him to let the movie star live in peace, what he has to say about their relationship is still fascinating.
Go ahead, Jesse...
James swung by ABC's Nightline, where he admitted that he was aching to be found out after he'd begun cheating on Bullock during their marriage.
"I think I wanted to get caught. It was me trying to self sabotage my life," he says on the show, airing tonight.

Blake Shelton shocked fans on Wednesday night with a violent, seemingly anti-gay Tweet.
Referencing Twain's romantic hit "Any Man of Mine," the country singer and coach on The Voice Tweeted: "Re-writing my fav Shania Twain song.. Any man that tries Touching my behind He's gonna be a beaten, bleedin', heaving kind of guy..."
(Twain's original lyrics are "Any man of mine better walk the line – Better show me a teasin' squeezin' pleasin' kinda time.")
Demanding that Shelton, 34, apologize, GLAAD wrote in a Thursday blog post: "This is one of the judges on what's so far been one of the most gay-friendly reality shows on television. For him to make a joke to his 300-thousand-plus followers about leaving a gay man 'beaten, bleeding and heaving' is completely unacceptable."
"Blake Shelton needs to recognize that violence against the LGBT community is not a laughing matter, and he needs to apologize to his fans, and to fans of The Voice, for his comments," GLAAD's post continues.

If you thought Chuck (Zachary Levi)’s bachelor party sounded hilarious when Ryan McPartlin previewed it last week, well, we may have saved the best stuff for last. Wherever there’s a bachelor party there must also be a female counterpart, right? And true to form, the next episode of Chuck plays host to parties for both halves of the betrothed couple. And neither one of them goes according to plan!
“There was some inappropriate footage that I saw of this bachelorette party with guys in banana hammocks, and I don’t want to speak for Yvonne Strahovski, but I think one of the guys brushed up against her cheek with an inappropriate body part,” McPartlin was quick to highlight.
Um, really? That doesn’t sound like something Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) would plan! But yes, both Lancaster and Yvonne Strahovski herself confirmed the wild evening events.
“I was on a chair, so my head was level with these four dudes-- with their genitals. It was horrifying!” Strahovski laughed. “I was speechless after, but I did create a ten-inch rule that one guy in particular did not abide by. He was very close to my shoulder; he felt the need for contact on the shoulder.”

The teen was arrested at his home at 7.30am this morning, and taken to Waverly Police Station where he was charged with breaking and entering, trespass and malicious damage.
The offender has been granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on June 2.
The arrest was made after management at Acer Arena filed an official complaint.
The teen allegedly gained entry by breaking into Acer Arena via the roof.
While Bieber was on stage performing a number of eggs were thrown, missing him and his dancers.
Acer Arena management reported the matter to police after allegedly becoming aware of the details of the inciddent via a social networking site.

Well, it's official!
A source dishes to us that Brandi Glanville has signed on the dotted line and is the newest castmember to join Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
And Glanville has already started shooting!
So who is the one person probably not too happy about the casting news?
You can bet LeAnn Rimes is setting her TiVo as we speak!
Because duh, the newest Mrs. Cibrian has to copy everything the former Mrs. Cibrian wears, drives, eats and does!
Our supersly source also tells us that all of the women from season one of Real Housewives will be back for season two.
So how exactly did Glanville beat out all the other Beverly Hills hopefuls and get the gig?
"Bravo actually had an offer out to Robbie Williams' wife, actress Ayda Field, but it didn't work out because of contractual issues," the source tells us. "That left an open spot for Brandi, and they are excited she is joining the cast. Everyone is getting along fine...for now."
While Bravo will only confirm the show is returning for season two, our solid source adds that Kyle Richards' BFF, the "morally corrupt" (Camille Grammer's words, not ours) Faye Resnick will also be featured more on season two of the hit show.
No word yet on whether or not Glanville's relationship with Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn will be a storyline in the show, but we can only hope as much!
Either way, sounds like LeAnn Rimes is in for a major reality check!

Amy Poehler of 'Parks and Recreation' isn't just a hilariously funny actress. She's also no slouch when it comes to learning hip hop moves on the fly.
Inspired by Michelle Obama's recent performance of the Dougie at a middle school in Washington D.C., Poehler joined Sherri Shepherd in a short version of the dance craze on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated).
Shepherd showed the most enthusiasm as she worked her way through the dance, which was inspired by 80s rap pioneer Doug E. Fresh. But, Poehler made a valiant attempt nevertheless.
Still, Joy Behar didn't seem very impressed. "That is so easy to do, even I could do that!" she said.
Agyness Deyn, from model to…stripper?
Yep, Aggy has been cast as a stripper named Flo in the re-make of a 1996 film called Pusher. The story, which was originally set in Copenhagen, is about one week in the life of a drug dealer named Frank. Frank helps Flo leave the country. (We’ll have to see the movie to figure out why she wants out.)
The director, Luis Prieto, told Vogue UK that he didn’t know who Agyness was; he chose her based on her “impressive” audition. The movie will be filmed in Shoreditch, London and is scheduled for a spring/summer 2012 release.
Agyness has slowly been moving from still pictures to the moving kind. Her last film role was as Aphrodite in 2010’s Clash of the Titans–not such a stretch perhaps, but this latest role promises to be a bit dirtier. It’s unlikely that she’ll be wearing a goddess gown, at any rate. And at least we know she’s comfortable stripping down for fashion shoots, as she did for 032c mag two years ago.
Hayden Panettiere confessed to InStyle at a recent Hollywood party that her style advice comes from two places. First, her friends: “I’m constantly calling up my best friends going, ‘What am I going to wear? Does this go together?’” she told us. The second source is a more unlikely one—her 6-foot7-inch Ukrainian heavyweight boxing champion boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko. “Now he spends a good amount of time picking out his outfits and he picks them out well,” she said of Klitschko’s style, adding that he likes to throw in his opinion for her looks, too. “He does a really good job [at picking his outfits], but now he also critiques my outfits. He’s like, ‘Baby, that clutch—you’re so small. You need a smaller one. It’s too big.’ I’m like, ‘Who gave you the idea…fine!’” And, as you can see from the photo, the work of Klitschko paid off, as Panettiere successfully chooses appropriately-sized accessories!
The top baby names list for 2010 was announced this morning on "Today" by the Social Security Administration, and many of the chart-toppers come as no surprise. However, some names that made the list might have been inspired by unexpected trendsetters, including some of the stars of MTV's reality show "Teen Mom."
Surprisingly, the name Joshua didn't make the cut for the first time since 1978.
In addition to the most popular names, the SSA also revealed a list of trending baby names that show the biggest spikes in popularity. Leading the trending girls name: Maci, the moniker of "Teen Mom" star Maci Bookout. Her son's name, Bentley, ranked as number one for the biggest trending name for boys.
Also noteworthy: Knox, one of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins, and "Twilight" name Kellen appear on the trending list, too.

Katie Couric could make a deal with Disney ABC TV Groups’ syndication arm to host a syndicated daytime talk show plus have a significant presence in the network’s ABC News telecasts.
TMZ reported that Couric has an offer from ABC for $20 million to join the network, along with hosting a one-hour syndicated talk show launching in the fall of next year. The talk show could take over the 3pm timeslot currently held by General Hospital, potentially endangering another classic soap. (ABC is replacing All My Children and One Life to Live with unscripted shows).
There are ways to move things around to keep General Hospital, but insiders caution there’s no deal yet for Couric since CBS still has several weeks to match the offer. “Everybody still believes that ABC is the real underdog in any negotiation,” says an ABC insider.
But others say CBS is finished haggling. Sources say the network pulled Couric’s offer more than a week ago after the news personality seemed more interested in remaining heavily engaged in the news division rather than putting time into a daytime show. Plus, there were differences of opinion over the direction of the talk show: Couric wanted more newsmaker-style guests rather than ratings-grabbing celebrities.
Couric’s camp, meanwhile, insists that it was Couric who walked away from the negotiation table.
One way or another, it sounds like Couric will find a path to a daytime show next year.
It was nice knowing ya, GH. That's what you get for sucking 10 years straight.
Justified‘s season 2 finale, “Bloody Harlan,” lived up to its name as the Givens/Bennett feud came to a head with a little assist from Walton Goggins’ Boyd Crowder. Goggins phoned EW after the East Coast airing, still anxiously awaiting the West Coast feed so he could watch it himself. Chris Brown's mother is urging the singer to open up about the events that led up to his brutal attack on Rihanna so he can "learn to deal with it" and move past his anger problems.
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker fell from grace after he was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009.
He sat down for a candid chat with CNN newsman Larry King months afterwards, but has refused to discuss the matter ever since - even losing his temper and smashing a window at the Good Morning America TV studios in when he was quizzed about the incident by presenter Robin Roberts.
But Brown's mum Joyce Hawkins - herself a victim of domestic violence - wishes her son would discuss his feelings about the attack because his troubles will continue to haunt him until he learns how to let go.

UMS In Budget Cut Mode On 'House' As It Faces 20% License Fee Reduction From Fox
With the Bones pickup out of the way, attention focuses on the other Fox drama embroiled in a renewal drama, House. After a string of deadlines came and went, including one last Friday and another one this Monday, there is still no deal but I hear the hope is to wrap the renewal up by early next week when Fox brass will start piecing together the network's schedule for next season. It won't be an easy task as Fox and House producer Universal Media Studios are still apart on the license fee by about 20%. That's by how much I hear Fox wants to cut the series' current license fee to about $5 million per episode next season. At this point in a series' run (House will be entering its 8th season in the fall), the network license fee normally covers the cost of production. But I hear UMS cannot produce House in its current form for $5 million an episode, so it has been unwilling to accept a reduced license fee as it faces the possibility to have to deficit finance a show in its eighth season, something studios rarely do. But then, House is not a typical show as it is estimated to gross some $1 billion for its run from Fox license fees, off-network syndication and international sales as well as auxiliary markets. The network is not budging either, and it got fresh ammunition this week when House hit a new season low with a 2.9/8 in adults 18-49. "Both sides have drawn hard lines and are sticking to them," one person close to the situation said. "Middle ground is incredibly small, it is a very tiny dot."

Oh dear- this show really does need to end soon. I finally caught up with the series last night and nearly wanted to toss my computer out the window! Please- no more Arlene- or Cuddy for that matter. Sorry Cuddy fans but what kind of Dean cuts off patient care just to spite someone? And what was up with that Promo!? This show is going to be the death of me- sometimes it's terrible and sometimes it's awesome and sometimes I'm just left unsatisfied and full of disappointment-almost like a "Bad Romance" (sorry- I couldn't resist).
Anyway- POTW was interesting (not to mention, incredibly cute) and the song playing at the end of the episode was absolutely brilliant! If anyone wants to know who was playing it- I'll add a link in the comments section!
Melissa Leo spent many weekends during the early part of this year staying in fancy hotel suites and accepting awards in ballrooms full of her fellow actors — no doubt the high point in her career.
Meanwhile, during the week, on the set of HBO's Treme, she slipped back into the skin of civil liberties lawyer Toni Bernette, a character no doubt at her lowest point following the post-Hurricane Katrina depression and eventual suicide of her husband, Creighton (John Goodman).

'Waiting to Exhale' was a hit in 1995, a success for its stars, Angela Bassett and Whitney Houston, and director Forest Whitaker. Today on 'The Talk' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS), Bassett had a special announcement that fans probably weren't expecting: There is definitely a sequel in the works.
"It's preliminary, but it's going to happen," she said. Terry McMillan, who wrote the original novel and screenplay, has written the script based on her book 'Getting to Happy.' And all of the original stars will be back, according to Bassett. That presumably includes Houston.
Bassett asked Leah Remini if she wanted to be in it, and she said yes. So look forward to that cameo.
OMG YESSS! I can't see Whitney doing the sequel, but I guess this means she's gonna do it?!!
Another day, another earth-shattering tweak to TVLine’s May Sweeps Scorecard.
In case you missed it, in the past 24 hours the number of “big returns” on the spoilerific cheat sheet quietly doubled in size from two to four.
But here’s where things get really interesting: The two returns — which by some miracle have remained under wraps — take place on the same show.
Far be it from me to ruin what is sure to be a jaw-dropping surprise, so you’ll have to make do with the following three hints: The program in question is an hour-long drama, it’s an established hit, and it airs on a broadcast network.
And that’s all your getting! Now do your best to turn those scraps into scoop in the comments section!
Hoping that the last few years have all been dreams and Amber & Kutner will come back. Whatevs, we don't need Taub and Olivia Wilde wants to start her film career anyway...

Paris responds -- "If I were Lindsay, I would be stealing earrings ... not giving them away."

But on June 28 2008, the young beauty tragically leapt to her death from a building site adjacent to her 9th floor New York apartment. She had no history of depression, and there was no trace of alcohol or drugs in her body. In short, the reasons that she took her own life remain a mystery.
Now a filmmaker claims that many clues point to a controversial organisation known as Rose of the World.

Nancy Moran was a photographer on set in Tulsa, Oklahoma, during the filming of The Outsiders. She recalls the special dynamic that developed among the film’s young actors: “Of course there was competition—they were teenagers after all. But what really came through was how well they worked as an ensemble. Francis [Ford Coppola] made them into a team. They rehearsed and they kidded around, until the point at which they weren’t actors anymore but just kids who knew each other.”
Might a Bones death, tragic as it may be, give birth to a new — and intimate — closeness between Brennan and Booth?
As revealed in Fox’s press release for sweeps, the May 12 episode of Bones finds serial sniper Jacob Broadsky hitting an innocent victim with a bullet intended for Booth. And as teased in the promo below, “one of their own won’t survive” that intense hour.
The same video clip shows a crestfallen Brennan collapsing into Booth’s arms… then into bed.
Could this be the “Change In the Game” cited in the May 19 season finale’s title?

Bryan Adams is in heaven.
The rocker-photographer and his personal assistant, Alicia Grimaldi, welcomed a daughter last month, his rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
"I'm really proud to announce on 22 April, Mirabella Bunny was born," says Adams, 51.
"She arrived like all good Easter bunnies on Easter Friday," Adams added. "Mother and baby are both well and happy. Thanks in advance for your kind thoughts and wishes."
Adams is set to resume his world tour in June, which includes more U.S. dates starting in August.
She was born on Good Friday and they gave her the middle name Bunny. At least it isn't her first name.

On the cover of this week's Grazia, Kate's waist appears to be much narrower than it should be in relation to her hips.
The photo, which has been doctored from the original shot in which Kate was holding onto William's arm, clearly shows a discrepancy between the line of Kate's corset and the fabric of her Alexander McQueen skirt, giving the effect of having inches shaved off her middle.
It was widely reported that Kate lost a great deal of weight ahead of her big day - with some suggesting she had gone too far - and this magazine cover appears to make Kate look even thinner.
So was this a deliberate attempt to whittle down Kate waist - or was it simply a photoshop blunder?

There are few things sadder than the inevitable fate of the late, late mid-season replacement.
Such seems to be case with Happy Endings,a show that -- despite looking like boring contemporaries "Perfect Couples," "Mad Love," "Traffic Light," "Better With Your," etc. -- is one of the best additions to the 2010-2011 television season.
Too bad it doesn't even seem to have a chance. Following initially steady ratings, ABC chose to burn off the 12-episode run, two at a time, in the very comedy unfriendly hour of 10:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. The numbers reflect it, with the May 4 "Happy Endings" double-header hitting a new low.
So why are we so upset? Shouldn't we know better than to get attached to a low-profile April premiere? We should -- but "Endings" is just so ridiculously funny, and now that we've seen it, we don't want to live in a world without it.

Benjamin Millepied is spotted filming a commercial for Yves Saint Laurent in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan yesterday (May 4). Millepied was seen dancing around the streets and even running over a table!
Millepied’s fiance Natalie Portman is due to give birth to the couple’s first child this Summer. The two met on the set of the Oscar-winning film Black Swan last year, where Millepied was the choreographer and also had a small role.
While Millepied will star in this new commercial, he told The Daily Beast last year that he’s more comfortable being a dancer: “I will never be a star. When I see the attention movie stars get, it doesn’t make me want to be in that position at all … I don’t have an agent, I don’t have a publisher. Actually I do have an agent now. Sorry. It’s only been a month.”

Arthur Laurents — an award-winning playwright, screenwriter, and director who penned the books of watershed musicals West Side Story and Gypsy — died on Thursday due to complications from pneumonia. He was 93. (Deadline first broke the news.) Born in Brooklyn, Laurents wrote training films during World War II, and transitioned to playwriting after the war, finding his first success with 1945′s Home of the Brave, a play about anti-semitism in the armed services. His first major hits, though, were the musicals West Side Story (1957) and Gypsy (1959). Laurents directed Broadway revivals for both shows — Gypsy in 1974 and again in 1989 and 2008, and West Side Story in 2009, when he was 91. He won the Tony for Best Direction for the 1983 Broadway musical La Cage aux Folles.
In film, Laurents wrote the Alfred Hitchcock 1948 thriller Rope, which starred his then-lover Farley Granger, as well as the films Anastasia (1956), Bonjour tristesse (1958), The Way We Were (1973) and The Turning Point (1977), the last of which was nominated for Best Picture.
Most recently, Laurents had signed onto a prospective feature film version of Gypsy starring Barbra Streisand. His partner of over 50 years, actor and real estate developer Tom Hatcher, passed away in 2006.
What side are you on ONTD? Team Nicki or Team Lil' Kim?
DISCLAIMER: In her report for some "Canadian" *shudder* website, some "reporter" by the name of Sarah Hampson jokingly refers to legendary screen starlet Gwyneth Paltrow as "my pal." I would like to start this entry professing that I do not find her shtick even mildly amusing. As a dear, personal friend of Ms. Paltrow, with whom I have served on several charitable committees, supper clubs and nationally ranked marching bands, I take offense at the idea that Gwynnie would address such a peasant is what appears to be a jovial manner.
But as Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt once told me "bork bork bork," which roughly translates into "please pass the sauerkraut." I am not sure exactly how that applies to this situation but as I am feeling particularly charitable due to the Thai foot massage (and horse tranquilizers) my housemaid Guadalupe is currently giving me, I feel it is my duty, in this post-bin Laden America, to let this nobody have her day in the sun. You know, before she goes back to her community college classes and her part-time job asking poor, overweight children if they would "like fries with that."
So please, enjoy this post, those of you who can read anyway, and try not to steal any of my china on your way out.

As her Mad Men character, Betty Draper, continues to separate herself from ex-husband Don, so, too, does her portrayer, January Jones, appear ready to strike out on her own for a career in the movies. Often compared to Grace Kelly, she'll be seen this weekend as an icy Hitchockian blonde tormenting Liam Neeson inUnknown, and she's got starring roles coming later this year in the expensive X-Men: First Class and The Hungry Rabbit Jumps, where she stars opposite Nicolas Cage for director Roger Donaldson. But does the 33-year-old actress have the chops to make it on the big screen, or has Jones already hit her Emmy-nominated peak with her work on Mad Men? To find out, we spoke to industry insiders to answer the question: If January Jones were a stock, should you buy, sell, or hold?
