With season four filming underway now we are finally getting some juicy tid bits here and there as to what direction this season is going and in particular, where Merlin himself would be going thanks in part to a somewhat lacklustre use of the character in the past two seasons.

At first it would appear that the whole season would be more about the class structure and political intrigue thanks to the recent spoilers regarding Gwen and Uther a few days ago, it would appear though that maybe the main character himself aka Merlin will have a HUGE storyline this year.

This onset report thanks to fellow Merlin fan albion_lyftfaet  hints at a huge arc regarding Merlin and indeed Lancelot himself, and it would appear that the new bad dude in town aka Arthur's uncle, has a very keen interest in Merlin himself and perhaps even Lancelot.

Behind the cut of coarse for spoilers and on set pics, but the speculation as to where this is all going is really juicy and interesting to say the least and as a fellow big fan of the Merlin title character himself, this onset report gives me tentative hope for a much beefier plot for Emrys and indeed the magical community as a whole.

The Canadian Press reports that singer Nelly Furtado has launched a Twitter campaign to encourage young people to vote in the upcoming federal election. The 32-year-old Victoria singer has Tweeted about almost nothing else in the past week. It's been riling up fans, who want Tweets about her tunes, but Furtado is making them wait until after the election. She's a pursuing a noble cause, so don't give her any guff or unfollow her over it. No need for a Twitter kerfuffle over this.

Furtado is taking the campaign as serious as a gonorrhea diagnosis (lol @ this article), offering tips to students who will be voting and about forms on the Elections Canada website. The singer has reminded her nearly 2 million followers about non-democratic countries where citizens aren't allowed to vote. Look at Nelly, using Twitter for good.

Furtado also encouraged her followers to get educated on the issues, and provided other helpful tips; she tweeted Wednesday morning that those who are working on election day are legally allowed to take three hours away from the office to cast a vote.

Whimsical Aussie pop singer Lenka just can’t help it. She instinctively pens ear-candy ditties such as “The Show,” a vaudevillian smash from her self-titled 2008 debut that went top 10 in 10 countries.

Her upcoming follow-up, “Two,” bubbles with similar confections, hum-alongs such as “Roll With the Punches” and kickoff single “Heart Skips a Beat,” which employs samples of her own heartbeat and breathing for rhythmic effects.

While she is grateful for the DJs who have played her songs, radio wasn’t the primary medium that got her music to the masses.

She’s always had a soft heart, and Mandy Moore was on sight for the PetArmor Protection Pledge at ASPCA Headquarters in New York City on Wednesday (April 20).

The “Tangled” star looked cute in a skirt, top and heels as she signed the pledge to help elevate the importance of pet healthcare while also posing for pictures for the on-hand photogs.

Moore is all about bettering the lives of the nation’s pets as PetArmor contains the same amount of fibronil used in Frontline but, according to the ASPCA's veterinarian Jennifer Lander, sells at a lower cost and is safe for use on both cats and dogs.

This new product benefits humans, as well. "Most of us sleep with our cats and dogs so it's important for our health as well to keep ticks and fleas out of the bed,'' Lander said, adding that many diseases can be spread by ticks and fleas including Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Lyme Disease.

Kate Winslet finds it hard to make time for herself without "feeling guilty about it".

The 'Revolutionary Road' actress devotes so much time to her children - 10-year-old Mia, her daughter with first husband Jim Threapleton, and seven-year-old Joe, her son with second spouse Sam Mendes, who she split from in March 2010 - she has joked she has forgotten how to "sit down", and has to force herself to make time to just relax.

She said in an interview with Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Any mother knows the last person you think about is yourself. I've been a mother for 10 years and I'm still trying to figure out how to give time to myself without feeling guilty about it.

"Sometimes I'll sit down and I'll go, 'Oh it's just nice to sit down,' because truly, I've forgotten how to do that.

"You forget to sit down and not worry about what needs to be done for the kids, just take time for yourself and pick up a book or read a recipe. I tell myself 'Just . Sit . Down' it's a challenge."

Kate, 35, also revealed she is enjoying her 30s and feels much more secure in herself and prepared for the challenges of life than she did in her 20s.

She added: "I think that for a lot of women, our 20s are a time of really figuring things out and figuring out what we're really about. Of course, at the time, we think we know exactly who we are, we think we've done all the growing emotionally . And then along come our 30s and it's all different again.

"I'm really enjoying my 30s, actually. I have so much more life.

SyFy has set a June 25 premiere date for Swamp Shark, the latest in its string of nature-run-amok thrillers. Kristy Swanson, DB Sweeney and Robert Davi star in this cheap-o fodder directed by Griff Furst, the man who gave us Lake Placid 3.

In the film, a great white shark mutates and adapts to freshwater when a US Government bio-terrorism research facility spills its radioactive chemicals into the ocean. As the shark wreaks havoc on Mississippi River towns and threatens the freshwater system of the country, an embattled local fisherman and his hillbilly crew become destined to kill it.

The video boasts cameos by some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Elijah Wood (as Ad-Rock), Danny McBride (as MCA), Seth Rogen (as Mike D), Kirsten Dunst, Stanley Tucci, Will Ferrell, Steve Buscemi, Amy Poehler, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, Ted Danson, Maya Rudolph, Adam Scott and Alicia Silverstone to name but a few.

Forget blood-sucking. True Blood has a taste for green!

And it turns out some of our favorite television vampires could quite possibly be one of the most eco-friendly group of actors around...

"I have a rule—if I touch it, I am responsible for it,"  Kristin Bauer, who plays Pam, tells us. "I take all plastic home to my recycle bin every day. Lids from Starbucks, plastic cups, water bottles, food containers. It weighs nothing! It really is not that big an effort for this beautiful earth."
 
In fact, Bauer says costar Stephen Moyer helps with greening the set.
 
"Stephen and I are always asking for a recycle bin," she said. "I hate to feel like I am being that annoying person, so I try to just be better myself."

Bauer also gushed over Moyer and wife Anna Paquin's work with the Facing the Atlantic charity. Alexander Skarsgård supported the IFAW's whale campaign alongside Bauer by doing a whale tail photo. And Rutina Wesley, Tara Buck and Michelle Forbes all helped with animal rescue org the Amanda Foundation's "True Blood Hounds" event last year.
 
Bauer cooed,  "I could go on and on about this incredible group."

The 21-year-old American country singer, who hails from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, has apparently invested in a “beautiful and cosy” house in Los Angeles.

The young musician closed the deal last week, paying between $3 and $4 million for the property, which she plans to use as a stop gap when she is in the area.

“She is really excited about having her own place in Beverly Hills,” a source told New York Post.

Taylor is currently touring the globe with her Speak Now World Tour, but was keen to find time to secure the sale. Although details of the property are scare, it has been described as “small, charming and very secluded” by an insider.

"[Taylor] bought the house so she doesn't have to stay in hotels when she is in LA. Her main home will still be in Nashville,” another source added.

Her representative declined to comment.

Last night, the Tribeca Film Festival kicked off with the premiere of Cameron Crowe's documentary The Union, about the making of an Elton John album. Mayor Bloomberg, Arianna Huffington, Martin Scorsese, and the Olsen twins were among the attendees, but we caught up with The Fighter director David. O. Russell, who revealed his deep appreciation of Britney Spears, and also Cher and Rihanna.

You work with so many different people in movies. Who would you love to work with, no matter how far-fetched?
Woman with O. Russell: Oh, I think that’s easy.
Russell: Really? Then you answer the question.
Woman with O. Russell: Britney.
Russell: Oh yeah, Britney. Yeah.

A social networking site called BeautifulPeople.com polled over 127,000 people in order to rank the most beautiful royals (according to the New York Post, the site generated images randomly, two at a time, allowing users to vote hot-or-not style). It’s no surprise that Princess Grace of Monaco came in at number one. It is surprising that princess-to-be Kate Middleton snagged the number three spot, one ahead of Princess Diana.

When announcing the poll, Greg Hodge, managing director of BeautifulPeople.com said, "We've opened up the voting so that subjects in every nation can judge past and present monarchs, as well as duchesses, princes and princesses-in-waiting - in a history-making beauty contest.

"In any other century we'd have our heads chopped off for treason. We're not antimonarchy; we're just anti-ugly people."

The voting was open for seven days, with results announced on Tuesday 19th April. Her soon-to-be highness' high cheekbones and regal smile placed her just below Princess Grace of Monaco and Queen Rania of Jordan.

"That was a big surprise - that she surpassed (fourth-ranked) Princess Diana," said Hodge. "But unlike Diana, who grew into her role, Kate Middleton comes in very fashion-forward. She's living this fairy tale and is about to become the most famous princess in the world."

That Princess Grace remained unmatched was understandable, however. "She's iconic and remains so," Mr. Hodge said.

The exclusive online dating community, provided a list of royals and told voters to choose who was the most beautiful. The poll was open to everyone, not just to members (who must themselves pass a similar rating system in order to join the exclusive dating community).

Joe and Nick Jonas were snapped shirtless on the beach playing a little football in Hawaii on Wednesday. Before they stripped down for their beach day, Celebuzz snagged some pics of the boys getting lei’d as they touched down on the island of Maui. Nick looked casual (and a little sunburnt) in a tank top and shorts while his older brother Joe wore his typical jeans and t-shirt. Joe even tweeted a pic of paradise!

But these shirtless pics aren’t the only time we’ve seen Joe’s muscular arms!

The singer was spotted at the Coachella music festival last weekend sporting a tank-top. He tweeted following the festival: “#Coachella you ruled! Hanson* to be on 'Dancing with the Stars' for Guilty Pleasures week

Tom Bergeron promised America a special surprise on Dancing with the Stars for Guilty Pleasures week and he wasn’t kidding. Thanks to the warm-up comedian who made an announcement of the guests Wednesday, he let fans know the band the fans have grown up with, Hanson, will be on next the show in the coming week.

The announcement of the band hadn’t been officially shared by anyone from the show until the warm up comedian posted on his fan stream the lineup for next week. Cory Almeida who interacts with the crowd and is a comedian for Dancing with the Stars as well as American Idol posted online the upcoming guests including the surprise. Everyone is excited, even the Hanson fans. This news means there will be some serious star power in the house on Guilty Pleasures week. In addition to Hanson, the New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys and Pia Toscano will be performing on stage live during the show. While fans get to gush over the entertainment, they will also be watching the fancy footwork of the celebrity contestants as once again a perfect dance is the only way to avoid elimination.

James Frey is returning to the Oprah Winfrey Show -- five years after he was famously eviscerated by the talk show host for fabricating details of his bestselling memoir, A Million Little Pieces.

Frey will promote his new book The Final Testament of the Holy Bible, which hits stores tomorrow. The episode will "air sometime in May," a rep for Harpo tells The Hollywood Reporter. Winfrey's last episode of her talk show airs May 25.

Winfrey catapulted Frey to the New York Times' and Amazon bestseller lists after she picked his memoir, which detailed his drug addiction and the supposed suicide of an ex girlfriend, to her book club. After the Smoking Gun detailed how the book was false, she angrily confronted him on her show. She apologized later.

"Oprah apologized to James a couple of years ago, and he appreciated it. So he agreed to go back on her show and talk about everything that's happened over the last five years," an insider tells the New York Post, which first reported the story.

Frey's new book will be published in limited edition of 10,000 slipcased leatherette copies by Gagosian Gallery, and sold as an e-book by Frey and WME.

Frey said in 2008 that his book is his "idea of what the Messiah would be like if he were walking the streets of New York today."

Emma Watson was bullied by classmates at a top US college who taunted her with lines from the Harry Potter movies, it has been claimed.

The actress, who plays Hermione Granger in the franchise, would answer questions in class at Brown University only to find her fellow students would make wisecracks.

A source said: '[They] would respond with a quote from Harry Potter.

'The most popular choice was "Three points for Gryffindor!"'

Characters in the films would often shout that phrase out when a student at the fictional Hogwarts school got a correct answer.

Watson's peers also shouted phrases from the film at her as she watched an American football game, the New York Daily News reports.

Last month Watson, 21, announced she was putting her studies at the Providence, Rhode Island institution on hold.

'I will still be working towards my degree... it's just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought,' she wrote on her website.

The BBC is putting the finishing touches to a deal to resurrect the sitcom Absolutely Fabulous.

The show, which ran for five series starring Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders, was first broadcast in 1992.

Joanna, who played Patsy Stone in the show, told Hello! magazine three new episodes would be filmed later this year.

A BBC spokeswoman said: "We're putting the finishing touches to the deal to bring it back and as soon as we're in a position to confirm it we will."

Jennifer, who wrote the show as well as playing flaky PR guru Edina Monsoon, is also writing the story for the Spice Girls musical, called Viva Forever.

The star, who is married to former Young Ones actor and writer Adrian Edmondson, was treated for breast cancer last year.

Before you judge Max, it’s best to know that he should not be confused with other gay television characters (like Jack McFarland from Will & Grace). As a matter of fact, Max is best summed up as the antithesis of Sean Hayes’ beloved character. While Max may be a confident gay man who chooses not to wave a gay pride flag everywhere he goes, he also happens to be teased often by his friends for non-stereotypical gay man traits like being a tad on the husky side, less than ambitious and not wanting children. We also find out in this week’s episode that despite his normal frankness about his sexuality, he has never told his parents that he’s gay and regularly has used his gal pal Jane (Eliza Coupe) as his beard.

<s>Shrek was an enjoyable character to spend the evening with at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival opening night, but for the tenth anniversary of TFF, organizers were thinking a bit grander. To kick off the 11-day event, Elton John showed up to premiere the Cameron Crowe-directed documentary “The Union,” which chronicles the album-recording process between John and legendary artist Leon Russell.

Crowe couldn’t be at the screening, so Jane Rosenthal, producer and co-founder of the Festival, Martin Scorsese and Denis Leary all gave introductions. After the film, John himself appeared to play a set for the shivering attendees, many of whom had arrived at 5 p.m. to score their seats next to the Hudson River. Beginning with the perennial favorite “Tiny Dancer,” John then performed “Rocket Man” and two songs from his album with Russell.

While wandering around World Financial Center, Speakeasy caught a glimpse of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who flashed their first smiles since possibly 2004, and also Paul Dano, whom we instructed to play David Foster Wallace in the inevitable biopic (if Dano gains 30 pounds, they’d have one face. We swear). We also discussed rising food prices with an earnest Bob Balaban (“I sound so depressing, I’m sorry,” he told us).

Before the night ended, we spied the opportunity to fulfill or crush the dreams of 20-somethings around the world. We cornered Rider Strong, who’s premiering a short film, and asked him about the possibility of a “Boy Meets World” reunion. “I don’t think it will happen,” he said. “Will Friedle’s out and it’s time for me to grow up. I don’t want to be known as Shawn Hunter for the rest of my life.” Fair point, though perhaps a disappointing one for those who lived for TGIF.

One of my favorite things to ever happen on The Vampire Diaries was when Caroline turned into a vampire. Caroline was always interesting to me — this quirky, controlling do-gooder who seemed to have it all: the guy, the popularity and the best friends. Then her whole world flipped upside down. This huge game-changer turned (no pun intended) Caroline into one of my favorite characters in all of primetime television. I recently had the chance to chat with Candice Accola (who plays Caroline) about the new developments with Matt and her mom, Tyler’s return, and the big finale.

John, Julie Gardner and Bill Pullman were interviewed by World Screen in New York. they spoke about what we can expect from the new series of Torchwood: Miracle Day.

The series is due to start in this July on Starz in the U.S. and, according to the WorldScreen sight, on BBC one in the U.K. I will add that we have yet to hear confirmation from the BBC about the actual start date.

Scarlett and Sean seem to be experiencing some trouble in paradise as Sean attacks Scarlett over her drinking and weight!

Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn‘s newfound relationship seems to have hit a major snag as Sean is constantly fighting with Scarlett! Star reports, “The duo had a huge fight after Sean confronted Scarlett about her drinking, smoking and — gasp! — weight gain!” Scarlett’s weight gain? She looks thinner than ever!

A source tells the magazine, “Sean’s urging Scarlett to go on a health kick, which she’s taken personally since she’s touchy about being heavier than she’d like.” The source goes on to say that though Scarlett wants to lose some weight, “she doesn’t want Sean telling her she should.”

Scarlett has been heavily training for her role in The Avengers so it is somewhat hard to believe anyone would be attacking her weight, but if these are the fights she is already having with Sean it cannot be a good sign.

The spin off looks interesting!

The 'MR. TAXI' PV teaser was revealed at 4:50AM JST on FujiTV Mezamashi TV, taking many fans by surprise with this sudden release.

The show clarifies that the PV has been fully filmed, and that the full version will be revealed soon. This new PV features Girls' Generation wearing taxi driver hats with black and yellow tops and shorts, as well another fully black outfit, while doing dance moves as if turning the wheel of a car. There is no doubt that there will be a new syndrome throughout Asia with the new "Driver Dance" and "Gear Shift Dance".

MADRID — Real Madrid waited 18 years to win back the Copa del Rey trophy – only to drop the cup and watch it get crushed under the wheels of a bus.

The 33-pound cup slipped from the hands of Madrid defender Sergio Ramos while atop the team bus during celebrations Thursday morning in the capital. Only hours before, the club defeated rival Barcelona in the domestic cup final in Valencia.

The front right wheel of the bus rolled over the trophy before the driver stopped.

Emergency service members gathered up the broken pieces and returned them to the bus. The trophy did not reappear at the club's traditional celebration spot at the Plaza de Cibeles in central Madrid.

"The cup fell, it fell," Ramos said, according to Europa Press agency. "But the cup is OK."

Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin are now in talks to star in the Ruben Fleischer-directed Gangster Squad at Warner Bros. Pictures.

Variety says that Penn is nearing a deal to star, and with Penn, every other offer was expected to fall into place. It was previously reported that the studio had offered the roles to Penn and Gosling, but no negotiations had begun then.

Will Beall wrote the script for the film, which is adapted from a series of L.A. Times articles. The movie explores the true story of a band of secret "off the record" police task force who went after Meyer Harris "Mickey" Cohen, a high-profile gangster who was a member of the "Jewish Mafia" in the 1940's.

The 30 Rock actress and her fiance Robert Godley welcomed a son named Bennett last Wednesday in NYC, her rep confirms exclusively to Us Weekly. The happy parents tell Us in a statement:

"Jane Krakowski and Robert Godley are thrilled to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Bennett Robert Godley, born Wednesday, April 13, in New York. Bennett, the first child for both Jane and Robert, weighed 7 lbs 12 ounces and is sporting blonde hair just like his mom!"

"Bennett is an amazing, healthy sweet boy and we are both just crazy in love with him," Krakowski, 42, tells Us.

Grace Coddington, who stole my heart in The September Issue, recently celebrated her 70th birthday, and the fashion world showed up in droves. Naturally. Grace is the creative director of American Vogue and considered by many to be the heart and talent behind the magazine. It's always easy to spot a Grace Coddington shoot. She has a very classic aesthetic, and pushes art and beauty before celebrity and commercial appeal, resulting in exceptionally sophisticated and powerful images, always with a whimsical flair.

The party, held at NYC's Indochine, attracted such celebrities as SNL favorite Seth Meyers, Vogue personality Andre Leon Talley, photographers Patrick Demarchelier and Annie Leibovitz, designers Riccardo Tisci, Helmut Lang, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, and Oscar de la Renta, and of course editor-in-chief of Vogue Anna Wintour, who addressed the crowd, saying: “I think of Grace as the heart and soul of the magazine. Angelina Jolie just bagged a lucrative endorsement deal.

E! News has learned exclusively that Jolie is set to be the face of an upcoming worldwide ad campaign for designer Louis Vuitton.

The print-only campaign, which is scheduled to launch this summer, will be marketed globally.

A source familiar with the deal between Jolie and the French fashion behemoth tells E! News that the actress will get paid "close to $10 million" for her high-end endorsement deal, believed to be the most lucrative of her career.

A rep for Louis Vuitton had no comment. Jolie's publicist did not return calls seeking comment.

Jolie, who last year ended a long-term endorsement deal with St. John and recently launched a jewelry line, has long been a fan of the brand, often sporting its handbags in public.

Past celeb endorsers of L.V. have included Jennifer Lopez and Madonna.

"30 Minutes Or Less" Red Band trailer with Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride





Jesse Eisenberg is doing his best not to get typecast.

The "Social Network" star, who has played awkward nerds in that Facebook film, "The Squid and the Whale," "Adventureland" and "Zombieland," is swinging from geek billionaire to violent, sex-crazed pizza delivery guy.

Eisenberg stars in "30 Minutes or Less," a new comedy from Ruben Fleischer, who directed him in "Zombieland." He plays best buds with "Parks and Recreation" star Aziz Ansari, a teacher whose twin sister with whom he once had more than best buddy relations with. The reveal of the relations threatens to blow up their friendship, but when Eisenberg has an actual bomb strapped to his chest, there's a lot more at stake than ego.

Eisenberg and Ansari get forced to rob a bank by Danny McBride ("PIneapple Express" and "Eastbound and Down") and comedian Nick Swardson, who wear gorilla masks and say very, very foul things.

It may be back to awkward for Eisenberg soon, though; he was just cast in Woody Allen's new film, to be filmed in Rome. He'll co-star with Alec Baldwin, Penelope Cruz and Ellen Page.

It's not an official photo of Tom Hardy as Bane, but the first shot of the "Inception" actor on the set of "The Dark Knight Rises" appears to have found its way online, courtesy of a fan.

Earlier this morning, Twitter user Ash Harper posted a photo of himself with Hardy, captioned, "Me and Tom Hardy (Bane) on set on the new Batman film!" And while a fan photo generally doesn't qualify as headline-grabbing material, the photo is worth a peek for anyone wondering about the visual element of Christopher Nolan's take on Bane.

The photo shows a clearly bulked-up Hardy with a shaved head — eerily reminiscent of his turn as the terrifying, real-life criminal Charles Bronson in "Bronson" (minus the mustache).

#20: Pilot
Original Air Date: September 10, 1993

You can't really begin this countdown without the pilot, which establishes the characters and sets up the beginnings of the mythology that we would explore for the next nine years. The episode starts with what we can assume is some sort of abduction. Okay, the show is about aliens and the paranormal, that makes sense. Then of course we get the real opening where Dana Scully is sent to the basement to work with "Spooky" Fox Mulder, who manages The X-Files, a series of FBI cases that are open due to being unexplained. We find out that Mulder is a believer, Scully is skeptical and this is the relationship we'd get for the remainder of the show (although Scully would mellow out a bit).

This show sets up a number of plot elements: the two agents' relationship, Scully's original purpose for working on The X-Files, the government conspiracy and the fact that there are aliens out there, and they're abnormally obsessed with Earth. While the pilot episode is a little slower than series fans are used to, it still moves along from point to point as the two try to solve this case but find themselves unable to. I should say that Gillian Anderson was 25 at the time this aired and...wow. A thousand geeks found a new crush on this day.

will.i.am has confessed that the Black Eyed Peas hit 'My Humps' is not the best song he has written.

Talking to MTV News, the band frontman revealed that while he still believes the beat of the song is "rocking", the group became tired of performing the track because of its lyrical content.

"For a while, [we did] 'My Humps' and then it got to the point where we didn't want to play 'My Humps' no more," he explained. "You know, 'cause 'I met a girl down at the disco', I just didn't want to say that no more, lyrically.

"It wasn't like my best lyrically, but it was fun. It wasn't lyrical miracles, but the beat was rocking, so we throw the beat in there and just let the beat linger."

He went on to say that he is much fonder of another of the Black Eyed Peas' hits, adding: "Now 'I Gotta Feeling' is like 'What?' and when we perform it, in my mind, I'm like, 'Where did that song come from?' I can't believe this is us, and look at all these people singing it like it's theirs."

Black Eyed Peas recently revealed that they have begun work on their next album, the follow-up to The Beginning.

The Fight For This Love hitmaker is hoping to land duets with the likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj for her first American release, ahead of her stint as a judge on The X Factor USA.


Despite having two hit albums in the UK, Chezza is yet to release any music Stateside, with reports suggesting that her management are hoping to comply a new LP to help launch her solo career in the US.

Cole's American album will feature new material, as well as the best tracks from her two previous UK records, 3 Words and Messy Little Raindrops - with sources claiming they will be "revamped" to appeal to a US market.

An insider told M Is For Music: "Cheryl’s management want her to become the next big popstar in America and are working on securing some A-List names for the album."

They continued: “A Rihanna duet is a certainty and Will.I.Am is trying to convince Minaj to work on the LP too. Katy Perry has also been in talks with Cheryl about a duet as she is a big fan."

The mole also added that Chezza is "desperate" to work with Beyoncé and Britney Spears, but understands that these sort of collaborations would "take a long time to achieve."

Can HBO's 'Game of Thrones' Upset the Emmy Race?



HBO’s new fantasy series Game of Thrones has established itself as a big, instant hit. When it first aired Sunday night, GoT fans chattered up a storm on Twitter. Monday morning, HBO immediately announced it had renewed the series for a second season. And now the question is whether it can go even further and also shake up the Emmy race.

BREAKING: The search is over. Universal Pictures has formally offered Jeremy Renner the lead role in the Tony Gilroy-directed The Bourne Legacy. Renner, who has been nominated for Oscars the past two years for his work in The Hurt Locker and The Town, is expected to sign on quickly to play a new character in the spinoff film that begins production in September. Like the Jason Bourne character played by Matt Damon in the first three The Bourne Identity thrillers, Renner will play an operative from a covert government program that is even more dangerous than the Treadstone brainwashing program that hatched Bourne.

Renner was one of the names rumored as the studio went through two cycles of tests over eight weeks to find the right guy. That decision was made today. Even though Renner plays an operative in the upcoming Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol, the studio felt clearly that he was in a position similar to where Damon was when his career took off with Bourne. Renner is not a kid, but he is really hitting his stride and poised to become a big star after numerous strong performances.

The studio looked closely at a number of up and coming stars, and tested the likes of Joel Edgerton (The Thing), Dominic Cooper (The Devil's Double), Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy) and Luke Evans (The Amateur American). Other names in the mix included Taylor Kitsch and Anthony Mackie.

So Charice's new single, "Before it Explodes", was released on iTunes a few days ago. I'm not sure if it will be included on an album or if this is just to build interest on here as well as her Glee appearances. The song was written and produced by Bruno Mars who also sang the demo. Alexandra Burke recorded it as a duet with Mars during her 'Overcome' sessions but it didn't make the final cut. So who sang it best ONTD?

Mark Cuban’s network will air the Jim Henson films in HD this Memorial Day.

On Memorial Day, Mark Cuban’s HDNet will air a double-feature of Jim Henson films, The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth.

The films, which will air for their first time in HD, will run for one night only on Monday, May 30 beginning at 8 p.m. It will mark the first time that the pairing has hit the small screen in more than 10 years.

“We have initiated a company-wide effort to relaunch these titles across both targeted and broad distribution platforms including all forms of television, digital, publishing and consumer products, making these much-loved titles easily available to the loyal fans who continue to support them,” said Lisa Henson, CEO of The Jim Henson Company.

The move comes as Crystal, a fantasy flick directed by Henson and Frank Oz, is coming up on its 30th anniversary in 2012; Labyrinth, a Henson-directed, George Lucas production, is celebrating its 25th this year.

"As one the last independent networks, HDNet tries to find content that embodies that independent spirit. No movies are more unique and independent in mind and spirit than Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth,” Cuban told The Hollywood Reporter.

Earlier this week, Cuban put his art house movie theater group Landmark Theatres and independent film distributor Magnolia Pictures on the auction block to explore a possible sale.

When Japan was rocked by the earthquake on March 11th, popular Japanese singer GACKT opened an official Twitter account, began several charity projects, and announced that he would open up a special photo campaign.

GACKT asked his fans worldwide to submit a picture of themselves holding a sign with “SHOW YOUR HEART” written on it, along with their message to the people of Tohoku.
Now that a few weeks have passed, GACKT has updated his website with a gallery of people from around the world holding their "SHOW YOUR HEART" signs.
