Adele has broken the record for the longest time at number one in the UK album chart by a female solo artist.
The singer's second album, 21, has now spent 10 consecutive weeks at the top, according to The Official Charts Company.
The previous record was held by Madonna's first greatest hits record, The Immaculate Collection, in 1990.
Adele's debut album, 19, remained at number two in the chart after 107 weeks in the top 40.
However the Londoner was knocked off the top spot in the singles chart by Jennifer Lopez after regaining the position last week.
On The Floor, which samples Kaoma's 1989 single Lambada and features rapper Pit Bull, went straight in at number one.
Apart from Someone Like You, Adele still has two other songs in the top 40 - Rolling in the Deep at 15 and Make You Feel My Love at 40.
Get it, girl. I am still depressed that I wasn't able to get tickets to her Asheville show, that was newly upgraded to a larger venue last week. They literally sold out in less than a minute!

While the champions of audio and visual nihilism OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) may be the darlings of the press, brash lyrics from the Wolf Gang’s de facto leader may have the crew of talented teens embroiled in a beef with one of rap’s biggest stars.
On Tyler The Creator’s single “YONKERS” from his upcoming album GOBLIN, the 19-year old prodigy takes a not so playful jab at southern rapper B.o.B. and singer Bruno Mars, who both collaborated on the smash hit “Nothing On You.” The line “I’ll crash that f--kin’ airplane that f----t n--ga B.o.B. is in” in Tyler’s track reportedly grabbed B.o.B.’s attention, who released a song supposedly aimed as an Odd Future diss titled “No Future.”
While he never directly calls out Odd Future by name, the many vague references to “rookies” and “beginners” – not to mention the ending line “you keep “f---ing with me, you ain’t go have no future” – have been suggested by fans and the blogosphere that B.o.B. was indeed dissing Odd Future. The bouncy track and aggressive rhyming may sound unfamiliar to fans of B.o.B.’s more known pop offerings, but the East Atlanta native has had a long underground mixtape history as part of the Grand Hustle Records roster.
Fans have been pretty vocal on Twitter and the blogs about the song as many are wondering what B.o.B. accomplished by going after relative news kids on the block while his career is going strong. One commenter on XXL said, “F--k Odd Future. Tyler had no right dissing B.o.B. Bobby Ray all the way!” while another added, “This is not hot. I like both O.F and B.O.B, but O.F is more interesting and very creative. Cant wait for a response, should be interesting!”
Twitter exploded once the news hit and it was again a mixed bag of responses. “[T]his new B.o.B. is an Odd Future diss, I'm lovin' this aggressive Bobby Ray,” tweeted @TheInfaMusic. Twitter user @phreshtudef added, “B.O.B went IN on the Odd Future diss.” Still, most fans found the track underwhelming. “B.O.B vs Odd Future ... B.O.B should have done some research and went harder... his flow was cool but kinda generic punches,” said @THEChrisKessell.
Tyler, a very active Twitter user, responded to the track favorably. “Whoa. I Don’t Think The ‘No Future’ Song Is Even A Diss. But, Ive Never Heard Him Spit Like That. Took Me By Surprise, Cus Its Tight,” said the Wolf Gang jokester.
LA Reid: Cheryl Cole WILL do US X Factor

They were photos from the current film, Bella and Edward in an intimate, sexy moment. Other shots were of the scene in which Bella gives birth to her child Renesmee.
Today the photos have been removed from YouTube after a copyright claim was issued by the producers of the final films in the Twilight series, "Breaking Dawn".
In a statement released on Facebook last Saturday, the author of the Twilight series, Stephenie Meyer, pleaded with fans not to release any more photos from the films to be released at the end of this year, and the final in 2012.
"Please, for those who are posting, stop. And please, though the temptation is high, don’t view or pass on these images. Wait for the film in its beautiful, finished entirety to thrill you."
That was the request was backed up by director, Bill Condon and Producer Wyck Godfrey.

Yoshiki himself was in Japan when the disaster struck, and responded by announcing that he would auction off his custom "crystal" piano to raise funds for relief efforts.

Being a celebrity, one can rake in big bucks; on top of that, however, one will need to deal with the more annoying side of being a public figure. This includes having camera bulbs flashing at all hours, documenting practically your every move.
Actress Lindsay Lohan (or is it just Lindsay now?) knows exactly what that feels like; there is probably no day that passes when a photograph of her is not taken. One such set of photos shows her out and about in New York, and at one point, she was shown down on her knees on the sidewalk, wearing heels and a fur coat. At one photo, she was even shown with her forehead pressed to the ground, cigarette in hand, while another shows her struggling to her feet while seemingly doubled up in a fit of laughter.
Judging from the time of day and the circumstances, the buzz regarding the photos is that Ms. LiLo has been out drinking again. And it wasn’t just that she had a sip or two at dinner; rumor has it that the actress was all out drunk at the time the photos were taken.
Not so, according to Ms. Lohan, who turned to Twitter and Facebook to clear things up. The explanation was simple: she had slipped and fallen, which perfectly explains why she was on the sidewalk in that manner.
Ms. Lindsay asked: “Is it not allowed to slip and fall?” She tweeted further: “funny now making a joke can turn into.” On Facebook, she wrote: “I’m always a klutz.” The quotes were shared in a feature on People.com.
It certainly seems like Ms. Lindsay’s reputation precedes her most of the time, and people already have this persona of her in mind. Changing that image, however, will be entirely up to her.
There are countless numbers of beautiful, talented women in Hollywood all looking to get their big break and sometimes it seems ephemeral as to why one actress gets the call of their dreams, while another continues to audition. Maybe it’s the eyes, perhaps the cheekbones or maybe the curve of a neck, but we’re pretty sure we’ve never heard of eyebrows being a determining factor. Until now.
At the end of last week, Relativity announced that Lily Collins had landed the plum role in Tarsem Singh‘s upcoming take on Snow White (formerly known as “Brothers Grimm: Snow White”). The actress broke out in 2009 opposite Sandra Bullock in “The Blind Side” and has lined up a number of high profile upcoming films including the Taylor Lautner thriller “Abduction” as well “Mortal Instruments.” But for Tarsem, who we caught up with at WonderCon where he was promoting the forthcoming “Immortals,” it was a distinct feature that earned Collins the Snow White role.
“Eyebrows. I saw her eyebrows and I said, ‘That’s Snow White.’ If everybody says they won’t touch those eyebrows, this is Snow White. And the studio said, ‘We won’t touch the eyebrows’,” Tarsem said. So a heads up to the make-up artist on the film—keep your hands off Lily Collins’ eyebrows. And makeup companies take note, you might have a new spokesperson.

Joe Wright (director of Hanna) really hates T&A-focused girl power. “For me, one of the main issues in terms of women’s place in society and feminism is the sexual objectification of women,” said Wright, speaking at Wondercon in L.A. on Saturday. “That’s something that feminists in the ’70s tried to fight against but has been totally lost in the 21st century consumer-celebrity world. So for me, when I look at the poster for Sucker Punch it seems actually incredibly sexist, because it is sexually objectifying women regardless of if they can shoot you or not.”
“I have a kind of immediate, knee-jerk reaction to such iconography,” Wright continued. “I remember when the Spice Girls came out in the mid-’90s and it was all about girl power, but one of them was dressed as a baby doll, do you know what I mean? That isn’t girl power, that isn’t feminism. That’s marketing bullshit. And I find it very, very alarming.”

Reese Witherspoon's country-elegant March 26 wedding to Pennsylvania native Jim Toth, 40, mixed her Southern roots with inspiration from her 1920s ranch estate.

The gown was adorned with a double-face silk satin ribbon with cascading silk flowers, which matched the dress of Witherspoon's daughter Ava, 11, who served as maid of honor in her own custom Lhuillier.
The bride changed into a second Lhuillier design – a white silk minidress with a party skirt – for the reception.

LOS ANGELES, CA, April 4, 2011- Lionsgate® and the filmmakers of THE HUNGER GAMES are pleased to announce that actor Josh Hutcherson (THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT) has been cast in the role of Peeta Mellark, with Liam Hemsworth (THE LAST SONG) joining the film in the role of Gale Hawthorne in the much anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ worldwide smash hit novel. Both actors will star opposite Jennifer Lawrence, who it was recently announced will play heroine Katniss Everdeen.
Peeta accompanies heroine Katniss Everdeen into the 74th annual Hunger Games as the male tribute chosen from their native District 12, the most remote and marginalized district of all the subjugated districts of Panem. At the outset of the Games, Peeta publicly confesses his longtime feelings for Katniss, setting up one of the most fascinating fictional rapports of all time with his supposed arena rival.
Though Katniss and Gale have never had a romantic relationship, they share a transcendent bond, often of few words. When Katniss volunteers to participate in the 74th Annual Hunger Games in her younger sister’s stead, they both presume that bond will carry her far through the horrors she will face in the arena, and they each silently hope they’ll be reunited in safety on the other side of the ordeal.
A while ago, Josh Hutcherson said: “[Peeta] is so much who I am–self deprecating, a people person. And he’d be such a great character to play! Like in the third book? Oh my God..” said Hutcherson.
“But they’re meeting a lot of people right now,” Hutcherson added. “One can only dream.” Well Josh, your dream just came true!

Are you pleased with how the second season has gone so far?
"Yeah. It's been a lot of work as ever, because there's just three of us writing the entire season. It's always a little overwhelming, but totally fantastic. I really like how this season is wrapping up. We've got just a couple more to write and then we'll be done for now, but yeah, it's been really great."
You've got such a big cast now - is juggling all the characters challenging?
"Yeah, actually. There are usually three or four, sometimes five, characters an episode that we have to focus on, so the show actually comes in and out of focus with different characters at different times. A lot of times we'll take a couple of episodes off from Rachel and Finn or from Sam or whatever, but we always kind of come back to it. It's actually a really refreshing aspect of the show that you can put storylines aside for a little bit and focus on other things and then come back to them."

Controversial singer Chris Brown has found a surprising ally in former talk show queen Rosie O'Donnell, who believes Brown's haters are racist.
"I just don't know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anyone else," O'Donnell said on her Sirius XM show 'Rosie Radio.'
When Rosie's executive producer implied there is a racial aspect at play, Rosie replied: "I totally think there is, and I also think it's why he felt he was safer with Robin Roberts [who is also African-American]." Rosie added that she felt "mildly angry" at Robin while watching her interview Chris.
Following the interview and performance on 'Good Morning America' Chris Brown threw a chair at a reinforced window with such anger that the window cracked, all because Robin dared to ask the singer questions about beating his former girlfriend Rihanna.
"Chris Brown violently beat his girlfriend and almost threw a chair through a window and currently has the number one album on the Billboard charts, and Rosie feels sorry for him because he is black?" a TV insider tells me. "This kid is rich and powerful and keeps getting away with bad behavior. If Rosie was backstage at 'GMA' when the staff was so frightened they had to call the police, she would be singing a very different tune. This has nothing to do with the color of his skin but rather his disgraceful behavior."

Then, Nathan Followill responded to Ryan Tweeting, “Dear Ryan Murphy, let it go. See a therapist, get a manicure, buy a new bra.”
And next up was Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl speaking out against Ryan saying, “It’s every band’s right… F**k that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee.”

The US actor, who plays Glee club coach Will Schuester in the hit show, said he followed the bizarre sweet potato-only diet for three days before the photo-shoot for Details magazine.
Speaking to UK newspaper, the Sunday Mirror, he said: 'I had to have a six-pack on show. My trainer said to eat nothing apart from sweet potato and very little water.
'The potato acts as a sponge and your body literally shrinks and gets ripped and tight. Afterwards, I ordered two pizzas and pasta!'
While promoting her new NBC show The Voice with producer Mark Burnett, judge Christina Aguilera took time out to say nice things about fellow pop star and old friend Britney Spears.
When asked about sending Britney a congratulatory tweet about her her new CD, Christina said, “You know what I haven’t heard the whole thing in it’s entirety (Femme Fatale). I’ve been really hard at work on this show. I haven’t had quite the chance to go through the whole thing.”
“But I am a huge supporter of her in light of the fact that both of our careers started off together and are still going and going strong,” she explained. “I just think at this point in the game it’s extremely important to be supportive of fellow artists and especially females who get pitted against each other and torn apart. As an old friend of mine from the Mickey Mouse Club, I think it’s important at this stage in the game to show my support.”
Other female artists that Christina talked about liking were Jennifer Hudson, Florence Welch and Adele!
“Jennifer Hudson has a beautiful voice. I truly enjoy working with her and we became friends. She’s such a cool, down to earth person. She definitely has some pipes and it’s effortless to hit those notes. It’s a beautiful thing to watch. Florence, Florence & The Machine, she has quite a striking and interesting voice. And Adele, I think she has a really cool something that is going on right now. So those would be the 3.”
Chris Rock said today on 'Good Morning America' that while he doesn't advocate violence against women, he'd love to see a Chris Brown / Rihanna reunion duet on the show. On the show to promote 'The Motherf*cker With the Hat,' a new Broadway play in which he is starring, Rock joked that he was upset they gave him "the Chris Brown dressing room," and that it was freezing in there.
"Beat a window, not a woman. That's progress, dammit," Rock said of Brown. Then he suggested to 'GMA' host George Stephanopoulos that Brown and Rihanna, whom Brown physically assaulted in a high-profile incident, sing on the show sometime. "Let 'em sing 'It Hurts So Bad,'" he said. He also thought 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot' might be appropriate.
Rock then looked into the camera and said, "You shouldn't hit women, just so we have my disclaimer when I get that crazy call that says I was advocating hitting women." Stephanopoulos suggested Rock could host that episode, and Rock said he would be glad to. Don't look for it on the 'GMA' schedule.
According to tradition, a royal bride wears a tiara on her wedding day. Queen Elizabeth II wore a tiara for her wedding to the Duke of Edinburgh, as did Princess Diana, who wore the famous diamond Spencer tiara, a family heirloom piece. What tiara will princess-to-be Kate Middleton wear if she so chooses to for her April 29th nuptials to Prince William? A likely conclusion would be that the Queen will lend her a tiara from the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom collection. However, in anticipation of this momentous royal accessory, InStyle tapped the creative minds of some of our favorite jewelry designers to see what they would design for Middleton’s special day. A dubious report from UK tabloid, the Daily Mail, quoting L.A. Reid confirming UK songstress, Cheryl Cole, as a fellow X Factor US judge, has been debunked by the man himself.
Late last night, the Daily Mail claimed Reid “let slip” in an interview that Cheryl would be taking a seat next to him and Simon Cowell on the X Factor US judges panel.
“We’re gonna compete against American Idol just fine. I’m very confident. But along with Simon Cowell and Cheryl, I don’t know who the other judge is.”
The Mail reported the quote, without a source, so it comes as no surprise that Reid is now on record saying he has no idea where the quote came from.
“I don’t know where that actually came from,’ Reid tells Fox All Access, “but I know the judging roles have been quite a process for Simon…I support any decisions that he makes for the next two judges.”

Sony Pictures Entertainment announced on Monday that Will Smith will join his son, Jaden, onscreen in an untitled sci-fi film for director M. Night Shyamalan. According to the studio, the film is set 1,000 years in the future, where a young boy navigates an abandoned and sometimes scary Earth to save himself and his estranged father after their ship crashes. Said Shyamalan in a release: ”The chance to make a scary, science-fiction film starring Jaden and Will is my dream project.” (The younger Smith first hinted at the prospect of the project to EW last November, when it had the title 1000 A.E.)
Shyamalan, most famously the director of 1999′s The Sixth Sense, has had some troubles with critics and at the box office lately (see: The Last Airbender) and could certainly use some of the Smith family’s box-office fire power. Will Smith and Shyamalan will produce the film along with James Lassiter, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Ken Stovitz. The screenplay is by Shyamalan and Gary Whitta (The Book of Eli). The Smiths last costarred in 2006′s The Pursuit of Happyness, and Will Smith produced Jaden’s 2010 remake of The Karate Kid, which grossed more than $350 million worldwide.

The prolific Tyler Perry is about to begin filming Good Deeds, a new production for Lionsgate in which he'll once again work both in front of and behind the cameras.
In addition to directing and writing the original screenplay, Perry will play the title character, Glen Deeds, in the romantic drama about a successful entrepreneur who's about to get married when he suddenly finds himself more interested in a down-on-her-luck single mother than his uptown fiance.
The production begins filming at the end of April in Atlanta and is being produced by Tyler Perry Studios and Lionsgate.
Meanwhile, Perry's latest film for Lionsgate, Madea's Big Happy Family, is scheduled to open nationwide April 22. Perry, repped by WME and Ziffren Brittenham's Matt Johnson, has also been tapped to play the detective Alex Cross in QED International's I, Alex Cross, based on the novel by James Patterson.
Lionsgate's Wayne Levin and Wendy Jaffe negotiated the deal on behalf of the studio.

In a new interview, Dr. Drew discusses why he publicly comments on celebrities he doesn't treat, saying, "It's bizarre to me that you can have political commentators, sports commentators, weather commentators, but with medicine, people go, 'You can't do that.' It's like, if you show me a picture of a rash, I don't have to know the person to tell you what that rash is. There are lots of medical conditions that you can diagnose never having met the person.
Soon enough, we'll have telemedicine and do it through the Internet — that's the future. You can educate people about politics, criminality, the law, but not about medicine? It's just silly ... I really don't want to hurt anybody, but to say the truth and to offer words that might be helpful in understanding what some of these conditions are. I can't see any reason not to do that. That's changing things for the better."

I thought she did well. The game sucked though.
Amy Poehler will be the Class Day Speaker for this May's Commencement exercises, the Senior Class Committee announced earlier today.
Poehler, a Boston-native, former cast member of Saturday Night Live, and current lead actress in the NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation," will headline the day's speeches. The ceremony will also feature the traditional Ivy and Harvard orations, as well as remarks from Dean of the College Evelynn M. Hammonds.
"We wanted someone people could recognize, who could give a funny and engaging speech," Senior Class Marshall Toby Stein '11 said in an interview with the Harvard Gazette. "During her time on SNL, Amy was a part of our growing up, and there's no doubt she's pretty hilarious."
Last year's speaker was veteran reporter Christiane Amanpour.
Have any celebrities spoken at your graduation, ONTD college grads?

Emma Watson may be the new face of beauty and skincare giant Lancome and hailed as the ‘icon of her generation’.
But the actress showed she wasn’t immune to the irritations faced by most other 20-year-olds.
The star suffered an untimely break-out of spots only a few days after it was announced that she is taking over from Julia Roberts as the face of Lancome.

T on Tumblr, which went live Monday morning, will function as a visual repository for T: The New York Times Style Magazine, as well as a supplement to the magazine's online home.
"It's a great way of bringing to the surface a lot of these great visuals that for any reason may have been overlooked," Horacio Silva, T's online director, told The Cutline. "We take a very curatorial approach to the editorial decisions we make. I think that aspect lends itself perfectly to Tumblr."

Warm Bodies is a film with a lot of buzz: a Sundance Award winning director in Jonathan Levine who last handled coming of age drama The Wackness, and previously tackled horror with All The Boys Love Mandy Lane; a rather dashing Nicholas Hoult signed on to play the slightly decomposing and verbally challenged lead; and Teresa Palmer currently in talks to star as the girl who steals his decaying heart.
Details about the script have been thin on the ground but the fun loving début author was happy to share what he knows when we chatted with him about how the tricky concepts of his book would translate to screen. "I’ve had an amazing amount of input so far."
If you haven’t read Warm Bodies, there’s a bit of a misconception surrounding the plot of the movie, almost certainly due to the book not actually being published in the US until the 26th of April. Lucky UK readers have been able to get their teeth into it since last year, and perhaps the glowing recommendation on the front from Stephenie Meyer has added to the idea that this is some form of zombie rom-com, a second Shaun of the Dead, complete with glittering undead (zombie sex is far messier).
On Nicholas Hoult starring as zombie R: "He’s a bit younger than I thought they’d go for, but I guess R is described as anywhere between 19 and 30 in the book, so it works, and his baby face will probably let his sex appeal withstand zombification better than an older actor."
SOURCE <- Lots of stuff about how the film actually works, and how he got published by going DIY first. He was really lovely to talk to ^^;
Last fall, AnnArbor.com reported that Team Starkid — a group of University of Michigan theater and musical theater alumni (including "Glee" star Darren Criss) who created and produced original musicals, like "A Very Potter Musical" and "A Very Potter Sequel," which went viral online — hoped to put together and present another original show called "A Very Potter Threequel" this summer in Ann Arbor.
However, Julia Albain, a member of Team Starkid, recently confirmed that the project has been indefinitely postponed.
"Darren's schedule is just too booked, and we are working on the release of 'Starship,' among other events that we are planning," Albain said via e-mail.
"Starship" is Team Starkid's most recent project: an original musical (with songs by Criss) that premiered on a Chicago stage in February.
Criss starred as Harry Potter in, and wrote some of the music for, the first two "Very Potter" shows.
Inconsolable right now.
Please ONTD, go on without me...
The most astounding finding from the newly discovered lead codices is that Jesus Christ was unambiguously and openly gay. He and his disciples formed a same-sex coterie, bound by feelings of love and mutual support. There are recorded instances of same-sex activity – the "beloved disciple" plays a significant role – and there is affirmation of the joys of friendship and of living and loving together.
A whole new complexion is given to that rather puzzling passage where Jesus exhorts his followers to break family ties: "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14, 26). It seems clear now that this is less a negative repudiation of family and more a positive exhortation to join in affirmation of a gay lifestyle and love.

More good Sunday night ratings news: Showtime’s new series The Borgias had the pay TV network’s strongest drama premiere in seven years. The Jeremy Irons historical drama had 1.06 million viewers for its premiere, then added another 432,000 viewers during its encore for a 1.5 million tally. That’s up notably from the series debut of Shameless (982,000) and United States of Tara (881,000), but down from the debut of The Big C (1.2 million). (And, yes, I realize The Big C, like Nurse Jackie, is classified as a comedy by Showtime, but Showtime’s comedies are sometimes about as close to being comedies as Dante’s Divine Comedy is a comedy). Also, here are the ratings for The Killing and The Kennedys premieres.
This made me happy! :-D

Heather Bright, a co-writer on the track "Trouble For Me," posted a blog about being a part of Britney's new record and mentioned how the media is wrongly criticizing her for not having any songwriting credits on the album:
I would just like to address one thing! The media is talking trash about how Britney didn’t write any of the songs on her album… HELLO! Wake up everybody! NONE OF THESE ARTISTS WRITE THEIR OWN SONGS!!!!!! (there are a few exceptions… lady gaga, will.i.am/BEP, chris brown is starting to write a lot of his own stuff…ummmm… and now I’m running out of artists). Anyway… here’s my thing… and I feel VERY passionate about this issue. Britney could have come to me, like all these other A-list artists, and said…
“Hey, you wanna be on my album? I’m gonna need writing credit for that song AND part of your publishing even though I didn’t write anything! And then I’m gonna go on tour and gross $150 million in ticket sales and not give you any of that, even though I’m performing your song!”

Coming soon: Ah-nold, in 3D.
'The Governator,' Arnold Schwarzenegger's first post-political gig, is now going to be a 3D feature film.
That's in addition to an onslaught of Governator product: The animated superhero will also save the world in a TV series, comic book and Internet programming.
The former California governor made the announcement at a MIPTV press conference this morning. The feature film will debut in early 2013, A Squared Entertainment's Andy Heyward told Deadline. The TV series is slated for a late 2012 launch, with a comic book due sometime before that.
When asked if his supehero character would take on current headline-makers like Libyan president Gadhafi, Schwarzenegger paused to think for a moment, before giving an answer more steeped in marketing than politics: "Who knows? That might be going in the wrong direction. But the way things are going, we may have a chance of selling our series down there."
"In public life when you are governor, you have to deal with keeping the beaches clean and making sure there is enough funding for the after-school programs and lunch programs," he told the packed assembly. "But as an action hero, you just have to save the world." Behind him as he spoke, the animated image of the Governator and a riff on his 'Terminator' catchphrase: "I'm back."
Schwarzenegger said he was happy to return to Cannes to announce his return to acting, as he first launched his acting career there in 1977.
The 'Terminator' star wore his signature cowboy boots to receive the Legion d'Honeur from the French government this morning at the film festival (Previous recipients of France's highest honor include Bono, Sean Connery and Clint Eastwood.)
