Live David Bowie Album is an Unauthorized Bootleg
Last week, we reported that a David Bowie live album that was recorded on his birthday in 1997 was going to be released. Well, it has turned out to be an unauthorized bootleg. The set features guest appearances by the Foo Fighters, Lou Reed and The Cure's Robert Smith and was recorded during the singer's 50th birthday celebrations at New York's Madison Square Garden. That might sound enticing, but it is not an official product so don't buy it. That's our warning and we don't endorse bootlegs and you should not support them.
Does that fact that the releases is an unofficial bootleg deter you from wanting to buy it? It should.

miss A’s Suzy has transformed into a spring girl for ‘Harper’s Bazaar‘.
For the photoshoot, Suzy worked her fresh and pure charms in order to pull off the concept of ‘Spring Blossom’ perfectly. The idol shed her arrogant ‘Go Hyemi‘ image in favor of something softer. Though her poses hinted at a sexy edge, her milky-white skin and large eyes brought a girlish quality to her shots.

Bryan Adams Feels Sad for Musicians
Bryan Adams has revealed that he feels bad for upcoming musicians because they face so many struggles.
The singer claimed that it is "much harder" to be successful nowadays than it was when he began his career.
He told the Hollywood Reporter: "I feel quite sad for the young musicians coming up because they may never get to pay their rent properly.
"It doesn't matter what the genre; nowadays, it's so much harder than it ever was.
"You want to get paid for your work and be able to take something home to your family or yourself. I tip my hat to anybody today that can make music and move forward."
The 'All For Love' rocker received a Hollywood star yesterday.

Paris Hilton: "I can't stand black guys"

In author Neil Strauss’ new book Everyone Loves You When You’re Dead, he shares an anecdote about meeting an 18-year-old Paris Hilton who opens up to him about getting implants at 14 until her mom made her take them out, wanting to pose for Playboy and making out with Vin Diesel before realizing he’s some percent black. Via LA Weekly:
HILTON: I went out with that guy last night.
Which guy?
HILTON (points to an actor in Saving Private Ryan): We were making out, but then we went somewhere where it was bright and I saw that he was black and made an excuse and left. I can’t stand black guys. I would never touch one. It’s gross. (pauses). Does that guy look black to you?
How black does a guy have to be?
HILTON: One percent is enough for me.
I honestly can’t tell what stands out more here: The fact that the Hiltons apparently still own slaves, or the almost supernatural chameleon qualities of Vin Diesel’s ethnicity. Because seriously, what is that guy? It’s almost as if God took the body of Adonis and said, “And now you shall be above all stereotypes, but in return you’ll have to make a bunch of movies about cars that go ‘VROOM.’”

Chris Brown -- ABC Won't Press Charges

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the NYPD will not investigate the matter because there is no complaining victim.
That's especially good news for CB -- because he's currently on probation for beating up Rihanna ...
and could have faced prison time if the judge violated his probation on grounds he committed vandalism.
We're told the judge will not violate Chris' probation unless New York prosecutes him ... and that's not going to happen.
No word if Chris will pay for the broken window.

Rejoice, brides: Now you can register for a terrifying new home appliance.
GDHA, a distributor for GE appliances in the U.K., revealed "the ultimate" in royal wedding memorabilia – a 5’9” side-by-side fridge freezer emblazoned with one of the official engagement photographs of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Want to prepare a meal for your loved ones? First get bombarded with images of the royal couple! Craving a midnight snack? Let Will and Kate stare you down! Need to change the Brita filter? Be reminded of how the young royals would never do such a thing!
“As expected, the royal wedding has really captured the U.K.’s imagination and it was no surprise that a William and Kate commemorative fridge was a popular choice," said David Garden, Commercial Director for GE at GDHA. “It certainly wipes the floor with your usual commemorative tea towels and mugs and is most definitely one of the most novel royal wedding products we have seen."
Garden has big hopes for his product, going so far as to predict it'd make an appropriate wedding gift: "Who knows, it may appeal to die-hard fans or maybe even Prince Charles and Camilla will order one as a wedding gift for the couple.”

Elizabeth Taylor Dead at 79

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Elizabeth Taylor, the legendary actress famed for her beauty, her jet-set lifestyle, her charitable endeavors and her many marriages, has died, her publicist told CNN Wednesday. She was 79.
Taylor died "peacefully today in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles," said a statement from her publicist. She was hospitalized six weeks ago with congestive heart failure, "a condition with which she had struggled for many years. Though she had recently suffered a number of complications, her condition had stabilized and it was hoped that she would be able to return home. Sadly, this was not to be."

"Though her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close and so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world. Her remarkable body of work in film, her ongoing success as a businesswoman, and her brave and relentless advocacy in the fight against HIV/AIDS, all make us all incredibly proud of what she accomplished. We know, quite simply, that the world is a better place for Mom having lived in it. Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us, and her love will live forever in our hearts."

New Bon Iver Album Imminent

Folksy Bon Iver mastermind Justin Vernon has certainly kept busy as of late, but it's been more than a minute since we've heard any word on the follow-up to Bon Iver's 2009 EP Blood Bank. Now, a Rolling Stone article sheds a bit of light on Bon Iver's forthcoming LP. The as-yet-untitled ten-song record is set for release some time in June.
According to Rolling Stone, experimental saxophonist Colin Stetson and pedal-steel guitarist Greg Leisz (Wilco, Joni Mitchell) were tapped to contribute to the record. Tracks include "Perth", which Vernon refers to as "a Civil War-sounding heavy metal song" and Rolling Stone reports that it features "a marching drum beat, a children's choir and wailing guitars," "Minnesota Wisconsin", and the closer "Beth/Rest", which Vernon claims is "definitely the part where you pick up your joint and re-light it." Okay!

Audra McDonald is returning to theater work
Tony Award winner Audra McDonald recently confirmed that she will star as Bess in a new production of the George Gershwin and DuBose Heyward opera Porgy and Bess at the American Repertory Theater this September.
"I'm looking forward to it. I feel like I'm old enough," McDonald told Playbill.com columnist Harry Haun at the Broadway opening of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
A four-time Tony Award winner for her work in Carousel, Master Class, Ragtime and A Raisin in the Sun, Audra McDonald's work on stage also includes Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny with Patti LuPone, and her Tony-nominated performances in 110 in the Shade and Marie Christine. On screen she has appeared in the television adaptations of "A Raisin in the Sun," "Wit" and "Annie." She will depart the television series "Private Practice" this spring.
Set in the fictional Catfish Row, SC, Porgy and Bess tells of the crippled beggar Porgy and his love for Bess. With music by George Gershwin, lyrics by his brother Ira and a book by DuBose Heyward, the work includes such songs as "Bess, You Is My Woman Now," "I Loves You, Porgy," "My Man's Gone Now," "There's a Boat That's Leavin' Soon for New York," "Summertime," "I Got Plenty o' Nothin'" and "It Ain't Necessarily So."

Photos: Elizabeth Taylor in Iran - currently exhibiting at LACMA

In 1976, Elizabeth Taylor took her first and only trip to Iran, photographer Firooz Zahedi in tow. The captivating, exotically colorful pictures that resulted debuted last month at LACMA; the untold story of Zahedi and Taylor’s artistic and personal adventure.
Those violet eyes. That tiny waist. All those baubles, and the marriages. To say that Dame Elizabeth Taylor has been noticed by the press over her half-century career is an understatement. But there once was a thrilling—albeit short—period when this Academy Award–winning actress was freed from the attentions of Hollywood gossip columnists and the shutters of the paparazzi—ironically, in a country where most personal freedoms are now stifled. And it was all captured by a young artist she met by chance.

The Problem With Chris Brown
At the 2007 MTV Awards I became a fan of 18-year-old Chris Brown. He gave an epic performance that began with a nod to master mime Charlie Chaplin and ended with an homage to the King of Pop. Brown lip-synched most of his seven-minute spectacle, but what he proved that night was that he is a prodigal entertainer. When they turned his mic on he sang well-crafted R&B songs in a serviceable, throaty falsetto, but, my God, the boy could dance. He was as athletic as the Nicholas Brothers (his favorite crowd pleaser is a series of back flips), but as tall and as seemingly weightless as Michael Jackson. He leaped along the guest tables that night, ending up on Diddy's, who openly bowed to him when he finished. That night he invited his then 19-year-old girlfriend Rihanna onstage to sing a few bars of her huge pop hit “Umbrella.” They were absolutely adorable, their eyes aglow with young love. They appeared publicly and affectionately for the next year and half, supporting one another as they navigated the wilds of new fame at impossibly young ages.

Rory Culkin is flawless, secretive, too young to remember Scream.
Rory Culkin kinda remembers seeing Scream for the first time.
"I was pretty young when I saw it," Culkin says. "My sister would cover my eyes every time something scary would happen, so I didn't really see it until I was a little older."
Now 21, Culkin is one of the many fresh faces who pop up in Scream 4.
While cast and crew aren't allowed to reveal much of the storyline, that's OK because...
Culkin actually prefers it that way. "I kind of dig it," he told me for today's installment of Scream 4: New Generation Week, E! Online's exclusive chats with the movie's young newbies. "I like not being able to tell anyone anything because it's a cool secret to have."
Culkin will say this about the Ghost Face killer flick (out April 15): He plays Charlie Walker, president of the high school cinema club.
"No one really pays attention to him, and then these killings start happening again, and they sort of look to him because he thinks he knows what's going on," Culkin said. "So as messed up as it is, the killings are pretty good news for him. People are coming to him and he's enjoying that."
Sounds like a killer role...or not.

I hope he either dies gloriously, or kills everyone. I can't wait. I haven't been this excited about the welfare of a Culkin in a movie since Signs.

Drew Barrymore and her boyfriend Will Kopelman, who unfortunately is not Justin Long
Drew Barrymore was enjoying the ‘honeymoon period’ of her new relationship with Will Kopelman yesterday, by showing a very public display of affection on their lunch date.
The couple was spotted hugging and kissing at Joan’s On Third in West Hollywood and couldn’t seem to keep their hands off each other during the outing.
After two failed marriages, to Welsh bartender Jeremy Thomas and comedian Tom Green, the actress has been soaking up those first weeks of new love with art consultant Kopelman.
Drew and Will were locked in intense eye contact during their date and seemed enthralled in each other’s conversation.
The 33-year-old held onto his 36-year-old girlfriend’s legs as they flirted and laughed over their cappuccinos.
They both decided to dress casually for the occasion, with Drew in a black and white stripped knit cardigan and jeans, while Will sported khaki trousers and a black T-shirt.

Alison Brie Talks 'Scream 4'
Alison Brie was meant to be in Scream 4.
"I love the Scream movies!" Brie tells me. "I could probably recite all the lines. When I was in high school, me and my friends made a version of our own—an homage if you will—called Yell. I think I was the sole survivor. I was the Neve Campbell of Yell."
Funny enough...
Brie plays Rebecca, who happens to work for--you guessed it--Campbell's iconic character, Sidney.
"She's a go-getter," Brie told me for today's installment of Scream 4: New Generation Week, E! Online's exclusive chats with the movie's young newbies. "She's very single-minded, type A personality—very ambitious. She's similar to Gail Weathers [Courteney Cox]. She admires Gail."
Most of Brie's scenes were with Campbell, Cox and the other big returnee, David Arquette. As everyone knows, the cast isn't allowed to reveal too much about the movie, which hits theaters on April 15.
"It's not too difficult," Brie said about keeping the Scream secrets to herself. "I come from the Mad Men way of doing things--don't ever tell anyone anything!"
Brie did reveal, however, that she wasn't allowed to take any mementos home from the set. "You know what I got to keep? My hair clip at the very end," she laughed. They were like, 'You can keep this hairclip.' I was like, 'Oh, this hairclip I can get at Rite Aid for $2.99?'"

Hugh Hefner's fiancee caught with another man...Dr. Phil's son!
Hugh Hefner's fiancée, Crystal Harris, is doing more than just making music with her former record producer, Jordan McGraw. The Life & Style Scene Queens can exclusively reveal that Crystal -- who got engaged to Hef in December -- has been caught with another man...and it's Dr. Phil's son, Jordan!
We watched the 24-year-old lovebirds cozy up at the Chateau Marmont in LA on March 14. While Crystal was hoping to keep their romance low-key, Jordan didn't care to hide his affections, kissing her shoulder and trying to hold her hand -- still adorned with her 6-carat engagement ring. Despite Crystal's impending June 18 wedding date to the Playboy founder, sources tell us that she and Jordan are very happy together.
"They've been sneaking around because Crystal is supposed to be happily engaged to Hef, and going out in public with Jordan would tarnish Hef and Crystal's relationship image," a source tells the Scene Queens.
The pair met through the Organica record label, where until recently Jordan worked as Crystal's music producer. "Jordan was let go from Organica for dating female clients under the label," the source says. "Jordan McGraw no longer works for the label," Michael Blakey, president of the Organica Music Group, confirms to us, adding, "To the best of my knowledge, Crystal is very much in love with Hef." Says a rep for Playboy, "Jordan and Crystal have a business relationship."
Crystal's wandering ways won't come as a surprise to Hef's ex Holly Madison, who told us just weeks ago, "Crystal may break Hef's heart."
Crystal follows in the footsteps of another of Hugh Hefner's live-in girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson. In her book Sliding Into Home, Kendra reveals that she snuck out to see now hubby Hank Baskett. "Our relationship was secret," Kendra wrote. "[Hank] could only see me in private."

How Liz Taylor Cheated Death 53 Years Ago, Almost to the Day
Elizabeth Taylor's death on Wednesday came 53 years and 1 day after she could have perished in a plane crash – were it not for a cold that kept her from flying that day.
On March 22, 1958, Taylor, then just 26, was scheduled to join her third husband, the movie producer Mike Todd, on his private plane the Lucky Liz for a trip from Burbank, Calif., to New York (via Tulsa, Okla.) – but he convinced her not to come, against her protestations, because she was feeling ill.
Todd's plane ended up crashing near Grants, N.M., killing him and all three others on board.
Taylor died at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, just hours after the 53rd anniversary of the crash.
Todd's death devastated Taylor and drove her infamously into the arms of Eddie Fisher, a friend of Todd's who was still married at the time to Debbie Reynolds. Late in life, Taylor said that Todd and Richard Burton were the two soulmates she had had.
"I loved them both passionately," she told Larry King in 2006.

Don’t try and make your life interesting when it isn’t. Diaries must be brutally honest. If you had only one

If you don’t know anyone famous, don’t try and pretend you do. “At the airport that Bruce Springsteen’s drummer once used” isn’t good enough. Similarly, “At the hairdresser’s. Saw someone reading about Bruce Springsteen’s drummer” just sounds desperate. On the other hand, “Bruce Springsteen’s drummer is the father of three of my children” is perfectly legitimate.

Disco singer Loleatta Holloway dies of heart failure
Disco singer Loleatta Holloway, known for the 1980 hit "Love Sensation," has died.
Her manager, Ron Richardson, says Holloway died of heart failure Monday night at a suburban Chicago hospital. She was 64.
Holloway recorded several disco singles, including "Hit and Run" and "Runaway." But she's best known for "Love Sensation."
Her vocals were sampled by Black Box for the 1989 hit "Ride on Time" and by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch for the song "Good Vibrations" in 1991.
Holloway was born in Chicago in 1946. She began singing gospel with the Holloway Community Singers and later with The Caravans. Her solo career began in the 1970s.
Richardson said funeral arrangements were pending, but that her family planned to hold a public memorial.

Proceeds from Britney Spears' Castro Performance to be Donated to Anti-Gay Group
Two things you might not have otherwise associated — the ongoing tragedy in Japan and the impending arrival of Britney Spears in the Castro this weekend — are now loosely connected.
The public has until midnight tonight to enter an auction to win two VIP passes to the pop star’s outdoor performance being filmed this weekend outside the Castro Theatre for an upcoming segment on “Good Morning America.” The proceeds benefit the Salvation Army Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund.
To enter the auction, visit this website. As of Monday, The Salvation Army had raised approximately $3.75 million from across the country for Japan relief efforts, according to a press release.
Spears is set to take the stage at noon on Sunday amid cordoned-off streets and an undetermined number of fans who will be let into the area for free. The “Good Morning America” piece, which will also feature Britney matriculating in the Castro, is set to air Tuesday.

The series is based on Drescher's real life and centers on Los Angeles florist Fran (Drescher) as she deals with dating after finding out her realtor husband of 18 years (Higgins) is gay.

Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg to star in "Celeste and Jesse Forever"
EXCLUSIVE: Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg each get about one scene in the upcoming romantic comedy "Friends With Benefits." But they soon could be occupying the same movie for a lot longer, and in a somewhat more dramatic vein.
The "Parks and Recreation" star and the "Saturday Night Live" staple are set to costar in "Celeste and Jesse Forever," the long-gestating romantic dramedy that Jones has written with actor-writer Will McCormack.
A studio executive who was briefed on the project said Samberg was set to join Jones as the film's male lead.
"Celeste & Jesse" tackles the story of a couple that's getting divorced but wants to remain friends -- a kind of inversion, perhaps, of the just-hooking-up subgenre of "Friends With Benefits" and "No Strings Attached."
"Our movie is about two people who love each other a ton but they don't know what to do with that love, and how do you let that person go," Jones said. "It's very different from: 'I like having sex with this person because I'm so modern but then, ooh, maybe I like them.' I'm less interested in that story." She added, "It's the version of 'When Harry Met Sally' 20 years later, or 'Blue Valentine.' It's really about how you break up with someone.'"
Jones said she thinks "Celeste & Jesse" offers an antidote to the spate of recent comedies looking at romance from a male point of view.
"It's hard to find female leads that are flawed and interesting and dynamic. We wanted to write something that was in the vein of Judd Apatow -- you talk like you actually talk with your friends -- but with ladies," Jones said. "I want to do that and not just be someone's girlfriend or wife. I want to be the one to go on the journey."

IT’S A BROWN OUT
Barry Weiss certainly didn’t leave the cupboard bare at Jive/RCA when he split for UMG.
The label group will have the top four debuts on next week’s chart, with Jive/JLG’s Chris Brown album, F.A.M.E., leading the way, boasting a total of in the 250-275k range. That would make it the second-largest of the year after Adele’s 351k. If you didn’t know, the acronym stands for “Forgive All My Enemies.” Nice.
19/J/RMG’s Jennifer Hudson sophomore album, I Remember Me, bows this week with 150-175k in sales, which is about what she dropped in weight.
RCA/RMG’s The Strokes album, Angles, their first in four years, will do in the 85-100k range, good for a #3 debut.
Gospocentric/JLG’s Kirk Franklin rounds out Jive/RCA’s impressive week with a #4 debut for Hello Fear, his first new studio effort in four years, which will debut with between 80-95k.
Adele’s album, down only about 10-15%, will give Sony Music a clean sweep of the Top 5.
Decaydance/FBR/Atlantic’s Panic at the Disco is next up with a target of 55-65k for Vices & Virtues, their third album.
Capitol/EMI R&B singer Bobby V’s fourth album, Fly on the Wall, should do between 30-45k.
Yellowcard’s indie debut on Hopeless, When You’re Through Thiking, Say Yes, their first since 2007’s Paper Walls, is looking at between 25-30k, the same amount as Reprise’s Green Day live CD/DVD, the gloriously titled Awesome as Fuck.
Warner Bros. rapper Gucci Mane’s The Return of Mr. Zone 6, should bow with between 20-25k in first-week sales.
For the fifth week in a row, album sales beat the corresponding week from last year. The market was down 8% vs. last week, up 1% vs. same week last year and now down 6% year to date. Next week, the chart will go up against Justin Bieber's My World 2.0, which opened one year ago with 283k.
This Is A Hugh Laurie Singing The Blues Post
Hugh Laurie knows how easy it would be to mock a Cambridge-educated doctor's son, now the highest paid American television actor, for recording an album of blues music.
So he's got in first with a statement saying: "I was not born in Alabama in the 1890s. I've never eaten grits, cropped a share, or ridden a boxcar. I am a white, middle-class Englishman, openly trespassing on the music and myth of the American south. If that weren't bad enough, I'm also an actor: one of those pampered ninnies who can't find his way through an airport without a babysitter."
Laurie is a clever comedian and knows how to deflect criticism. When he talked about his family's previous musical sessions - sons on drums and sax, daughter on clarinet and himself on guitar and vocals - he joked: 'Nauseating, isn't it?'

Natalie's man is sick of rumours starting
Natalie Portman won an Academy Award for her portrayal of a tortured dancer in "Black Swan," but some have called her dancing integrity into question. Benjamin Millepied, Portman's "Black Swan" dance partner and choreographer (not to mention her fiance and the father of her future child), swears that's all nonsense.
Millepied is featured in a new Los Angeles Times article that focuses on both his career in dance and his relationship with Portman. The French-born former dance prodigy personally instructed Portman in her film dancing and even wrote her routine. The accusations are baseless, he says.
"It was so believable, it was fantastic, that beautiful movement quality," he told the paper. "There are articles now talking about her dance double that are making it sound like [Sarah Lane, her body double] did a lot of the work, but really, she just did the footwork, and the fouettés, and one diagonal [phrase] in the studio. Honestly, 85% of that movie is Natalie."
Portman spoke throughout the film's promotion of the tireless work she did in an effort to both perfect her dancing and her dancer's body, saying that at one point, she thought she was going to die.

(Another) "Dune" movie not happening anytime soon
Frank Herbert's Dune has already been the subject of a feature film and a miniseries, but that hasn't stopped Hollywood from trying to bring yet another incarnation of the "world's bestselling science-fiction novel" to the silver screen. Unfortunately, fans longing for a return trip to Arrakis will have to wait. After four years of development, Paramount has walked away from the project according to producer Richard P. Rubenstein.
Herbert's novel, published in 1965, was a complex (and somewhat allegorical) tale about a galactic empire where individual family houses control various planets. Paul Atreides and his family find themselves embroiled in a huge power struggle after they're granted control of the planet Arrakis -- the only place in the galaxy where the valuable spice Melange grows.

Gagalupe Honoured for Gay Rights Campaign ... While your faves do jack shit

LADY GAGA has been honoured for her work to promote gay rights in the U.S. military with a special award at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on Monday night (21Mar11).
The Poker Face hitmaker is a vocal supporter of the campaign against the controversial 'Don't ask, don't tell' policy, which bans homosexual U.S. service personnel from revealing their sexuality.
She was rewarded for her efforts at the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network's 2011 dinner in Washington, D.C. on Monday when she was presented with the Randy Shilts Visibility Award, which honours those who work to promote the SLDN's campaign.
Gaga could not attend in person to collect the prize as she is on tour, but she sent a video message which was recorded during a flight on a private jet.
She told the ceremony, "I am honoured to accept this award from this organisation that has been dedicated to the servicemembers for the last 17 years, and I recognise that this fight doesn't end here. We still have so much more to do."
And in a post on her Twitter.com blog, she adds: "I wish I'd been there in person to show my respect to SLDN, I'm honoured to be awarded by my brave friends."

NeNe Leakes on Star Jones: 'She Is a Disaster'

"She is bossy, she is manipulative, conniving," Leakes says. "And I'm not even being funny. I think that is real. I honestly think that is who she is."
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who appears on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Wednesday, tells DeGeneres that she and Jones were never friendly.
"When I walked into the situation, I tried to walk in with no preconceived notions. I was just thinking, 'Okay, I'm going to do the show. I'm going to get to know who Star is,' " Leakes says.
"I think she had preconceived notions of who she thought I was just from watching me on the Housewives," she continues. "I think she thought I was going to come in and take over. I tried to get to know her. Some people are difficult to get to know. She's not the easiest person to get to know. She is a disaster."
When asked if she's the only one who doesn't get along with Jones, Leakes tells DeGeneres, "I don't think anybody is getting along with Star. I don't think she's easy to get along with."
"What happened to cause the riff?" DeGeneres asks.
Leakes replies, "Well, I just think Star is manipulative."

Chris Brown Commentary: Be Like Mike
Following Chris Brown's recent rampage in New York, there are fans that still take the side of this singer, typically using three defenses:
Hasn't everyone made a mistake?!?
His incident with Rihanna is two years old.
The media should stop bringing it up.
The first argument is ridiculous. Brown did not push Rihanna, nor did he strike her just once. Have you seen the photos following the attack? Brown pummeled his then-girlfriend. He gave her a fat lip and a black eye. You can stand atop your high horses all you'd like, but, no, not all "mistakes" are equal.
Would supporters continue to echo this non-judgmental sentiment if he sexually assaulted Rihanna? If she died as a result of his temper?

Kat Dennings on the cover of Complex Magazine

Kat Dennings was home-schooled. Did she learn anything? Who knows. What we do know is that she is very nice. She graduated high school when she was 14, and convinced her family to move from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles so she could pursue acting. She’s been acting her ass off pretty much ever since, and now she’s not only acting in movies, she’s writing movies. Thanks for nothing, College!
So, during the eight years most people are in high school and college, Ms. Dennings was steadily chomping away at Hollywood, and this spring the 24-year-old has reached the pinnacle of artistic and financial success for an actor—she’s in a comic-book movie. Thor is about the Marvel character Thor, who is in turn based on the Norse god Thor. The film features beautiful men acting like tough men and beautiful women acting like extremely beautiful women. Elizabeth Taylor Suffered 'a Lot of Pain' in Final Days, says Debbie Reynolds
Just two weeks before her death, a hospitalized Elizabeth Taylor spoke to her one-time rival Debbie Reynolds.
"I said, 'Getting old is really sh––,' " Reynolds tells Access Hollywood of her final conversation with Taylor. "And she said, 'It certainly is. It certainly is, Debbie. This is really tough.' "
"I said, 'Well, you just hang in there now, Elizabeth,' " Reynolds recalls. "And she said, 'I'm really trying."
"God bless her, she's on to a better place," Reynolds says. "I'm happy that she's out of her pain because she was in a lot of pain."
As for her legacy, Reynolds reflected on Taylor's "long productive career," in a statement earlier Wednesday. "She was the most glamorous and sexual star of our generation," Reynolds, 78, said in the statement. "No one else could equal Elizabeth's beauty and sexuality. Women liked her and men adored her, and her love for her children is enduring."
Added Reynolds: "She was a symbol of stardom. Her legacy will last."
Though they were friends at the time of Taylor's death, during the late '50s, Reynolds and Taylor were caught in the biggest sex scandal of the decade.
Reynolds, the star of Singin' in the Rain and other MGM musicals, was America's Sweetheart and the mother of two children with her husband, boy-next-door crooner Eddie Fisher – who in 1957 was stolen away from his wife and children by the recently widowed Taylor.

Ellen Reveals Britney Spears' New Songs!
Ready for 'Parks and Recreation': The Book?

Well, the renewal came late last week, and now the project is official: "Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America," a book "written by" Leslie Knope but really worked on by Schur and many other members of the "Parks and Rec" cast and creative team.
As Schur explained it to me, in the "Time Capsule" episode, we see that Leslie has prepared a book on Pawnee's history, and this is that book - "but the professsional version. From her POV, with contributions from every character and many minor characters. Got contributions from Fred Armisen (who appeared in season two's "Sister City"), Ben Schwartz (who plays Jean-Ralphio), (Nick) Offerman, Amy (Poehler), and a bunch of others. Part history, part travel guide, (with) sections on raccoons, Eagleton, Joan Calamezzo, Crazy Ira and the Douche -- basically everything that's ever appeared in the show."
"Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America" won't come out until October 4 (by which point season 4 will have hopefully begun), but if there's one thing this delayed season of "Parks and Rec" has taught us, it's that things having to do with Pawnee are almost always worth the wait.

RH Housewife Tamra Is Getting Hitched Already

“We’ve talked about marriage and we want to get married,” gushed 42-year-old Tamra, who shared the couple’s private photo album with us.
“It’s an insane amount of love; I have never said term ‘soul mate’ before, but we are!

Tamra insisted Eddie, 37, was never friends with Simon, as her ex had claimed.
“He put that out there when Eddie and I started dating,” Tamra said of Simon, who has also moved on with a new girlfriend.
“We had gone to holiday parties about two years ago where Simon and Eddie briefly met, but they never had a friendship and no numbers were exchanged.
“So the extent of their relationship amounted only to meeting socially maybe three times.

Ginuwine: Aaliyah Would Be 'Neck & Neck' With Beyonce
R&B songstress Aaliyah Haughton would have turned 32 years old back in January. After her tragic death in 2001, many female artists drew comparison to the R&B singer with fierce dance moves. However, if you ask Ginuwine, Beyoncé is the artist that reminds him most of Aaliyah.
"Aaliyah was in a class by herself," Ginuwine tells The BoomBox. "If you're talking triple threat of a writer, singer and actress, that would probably be Beyoncé. If Aaliyah were still here, she and Beyoncé would be neck and neck."
Beyoncé's career with Destiny's Child was already thriving when Aaliyah was alive. The trio released their self-titled debut in 1998, and Aaliyah passed just three years after that. Both also went on to pursue acting alongside music. Aaliyah added actress to her resume with roles in 2000's 'Romeo Must Die' and a lead role in 2002's 'Queen of the Damned,' which was released after the singer passed away.
The DC front woman had parts in films like MTV's 'Carmen: A Hip Hopera in 2001,' along with ancillary roles in 2002's 'Austin Powers in Goldmember' and 'The Fighting Temptations' a year later, before really driving the point home with her riveting roles in 2006's 'Dreamgirls' and 2008's 'Cadillac Records,' which really solidified the artist's position as a serious actress. While Aaliyah's life was cut short and she was unable to continue her career, Ginuwine is confident that Miss Haughton would have been equally successful.
While the Aaliyah comparisons with newer artists still float on today, Ginuwine says it's nothing to shun. "Ain't nothing wrong with that," he says. "I think everyone should aspire to be someone great, and that was one of the greats. Aaliyah was one of the great ones."

The comedian, who attends regular AA meetings and uses transcendental meditation to help him stay clean, told Details he is aware that relapsing into heroin use would eventually lead to his own death as it takes away a person's sense of reality.
"To me, the gravity is heroin, and then death. You know, to sleep, that incremental suicide of turning your life into a dream, to make being awake as similar to sleep as possible," he explained. "Drowsily, lazily, dry-mouth your way through the day's ceremonies, fumble your way back into the dew-bather you never really left, draped in brown, brown now all around, the haze!"
He also credited his success at staying clean to his relationship with wife Katy Perry, adding that his marriage to the singer has changed his perspective on life.
"Because now I have something to protect, and it is very odd indeed. There are a lot of things you have to amend to be in a monogamous relationship," he said. Are kids slipping through the cracks in Facebook's just-ask age screening approach?
The social networking site kicks off around 20,000 underage users per day, its chief privacy adviser, Mozelle Thompson, told Australia's parliament this week.
He admitted that the site's way of weeding out those who don't meet the 13-and-up age requirement -- essentially a user-entry honor system -- is "not perfect," because there's no mechanism for detecting kids who simply enter a false age.

Chris Brown's Mom 'Very Disturbed And Upset' By His Behavior
Chris Brown's mom and manager, Joyce Hawkins was “very disturbed and upset” about what happened on Good Morning America Tuesday, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Joyce wasn't with Chris at the GMA appearance, but she spoke to him shortly after he stormed out of the studios and the window in his dressing room was discovered broken – reportedly by Brown.
"Joyce spoke with Chris immediately after he left the studio in midtown,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. “She was very, very upset with him. Joyce isn't only his mother, but his manager as well.
“She reminded Chris about how hard he had worked on the album, and Joyce didn't seem distressed about the line of questioning that Robyn Roberts gave him regarding Rihanna. Joyce told Chris not to lose his cool again, that is what people expect him to do.
“Chris listened to his mom, and seemed to take what she said to heart. Chris doesn't want to disappoint Joyce at all, and he could hear it in her voice."
Chris appeared to "visibly calm down” after talking to Joyce the source said. “She has that impact on him. Joyce told Chris he was going to have to conduct himself with more control in interviews, because he will continued to be asked about Rihanna. Chris just feels like he can't catch a break, and wants to move on from what happened. Joyce encouraged Chris to express himself through his musical performances though, and she told him to take any negative energy he is feeling, and channel it into the music.”
Despite Tuesday’s incident Chris is still scheduled to appear on Dancing With The Stars next week. "Chris plans on honoring that commitment,” our source said. “He wants to do the performance, so unless ABC or executives from the show tell him otherwise, he will be there.”

Saoirse Ronan apologises to spiders.
The 16-year-old actress - who plays a teenage assassin in new movie 'Hanna' - hates being cruel to anything and feels terrible if she accidentally kills one of the eight-legged creatures.
She said: "I've never killed an animal. I actually apologise to flies. Well, not flies. I hate flies. But if a spider dies by accident, I'll say sorry to it. I'm not a murderer."
While she feels uncomfortable harming insects, Saoirse was excited about getting the chance to "kick the a*s" of her 'Hanna' co-star Eric Bana, who previously played the titular Marvel superhero in 'Hulk'.

Elizabeth Taylor: last act in Richard Burton love story
The actress inspired a global media frenzy when news first leaked of her new romance.
It was an affair played out in the public eye, from when the miner's son from Pontrhydyfen, near Port Talbot, met the London-born art dealer's daughter on the set of the 1962 film Cleopatra.
The movie was the world's most expensive film to date at that point, and was to change Burton's professional and personal life forever.
In the film he played Mark Anthony opposite screen legend Elizabeth Taylor who played the Egyptian Queen.
Their on-screen relationship soon flourished off-screen, and it became one that was both tempestuous and very public.
Eliza Dushku scores new CBS comedy pilot
Eliza Dushku is set as the female lead opposite Damon Wayans in CBS' untitled sports radio show pilot. The multicamera comedy, from veteran writer-producers Bill Martin and Mike Schiff, is inspired by ESPN personality Colin Cowherd’s outspoken sports talk show. It centers on Nick (Wayans), an egotistical sports-radio host with a quick wit and cocky likability who is adored by his fans. Dushku will play Nick's radio cohort Casey, a fun, quick-witted gal, who is socially oblivious and pathologically blunt.
From Eliza's Facebook: It is with insanest excitement & awesomeness I get to finally fill you guys in: I've JUST landed a new CBS comedy pilot w/ my comic idol Mr. Damon Wayans! Stay tuned, there is a serious happy dance occurring at the moment ;) xx!

RISE OF THE APES Moves Back To The Summer, THE SITTER Will Bow In December

Rise of the Apes is a summer blockbuster again! Having originally moved the half ‘Ape’ prequel/half reboot from it’s June 24th date to the crowded but lucrative Thanksgiving weekend on November 23rd, 20th Century Fox have switched dates for the second time and the movie will now open August 5th.
Fox commented on their twitter account that the new date pushes Apes as the “last big event movie of the summer” and now the movie is less than five months away, I guess we can expect a marketing campaign to finally get underway as all we’ve seen so far is an Ape-less still of James Franco.
Rise of the Apes is an origin story set in present day San Francisco, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
James Franco leads as the scientist responsible for the ape uprising and who initially takes Caesar (aka the first super intelligent ape that rises against the humans) home to protect him for his rival doctors. Franco’s desperate desire to cure Alzheimer’s is in the hope to end his father’s suffering from the diseaase (John Lithgow).
WETA vet Andy Serkis reunites with the company that transformed him into Gollum and King Kong and will motion-cap Caesar, marking a shift in the series as it moves into CGI rather than man in suit apes.
Freida Pinto, whose career is blossoming post-Slumdog Millionaire (she was a focal point in Woody Allen’s You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger, and has worked with Julian Schnabel and Tarsem Singh since) is also on board as a primatologist and former Spooks actor David Oyelowo is Steve Jacobs, a member of the facility’s board of directors who announces phase 2, clinical trials. Brian Cox has a role too.
Rupert Wyatt (The Escapist) directed from a script by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver – writers of The Relic.

Meanwhile Fox have also pushed back David Gordon Green’s second feature of 2011 after next month’s Your Highness – delaying the release of his R-rated comedy The Sitter starring Jonah Hill and Sam Rockwell. The movie which finds Hill’s exhausting night babysitting three kids next door was previous set to open August 5th (now occupied by Apes) and it will now open in December.

Katy Perry is Obsessed with Cats
Katy Perry has revealed that she has an "obsession" with cats because she sees similarities between herself and the feline animals.
The 'Firework' singer and her husband Russell Brand own three cats - Kitty Purry, Morrissey and Krusty - and the 26-year-old insisted that she wants to make having a cat "cool".
She told More: "I am obsessed with cats. I'm kind of trying to make that cat-lady personality cool. I want it to be chic! Cats are like, 'You have to earn my affection'. And I really associate myself with that.
"People have to earn my affection, but when I give it, it's going to be good. I'm very independent like a cat too, and I do things in my own time. My cats have a feminine way, it's sexy."
Perry also admitted that the animals have inspired some of her music and confessed that her next track contains some "cat references".
When asked if she would record a feline-inspired song, she replied: "I have a lot of those on the album already. I do have a song coming out in a few months that has a couple of cat references, but I think that's a little too saucy to talk about. I like to leave things a mystery."

George Lopez compares Kirstie Alley to a pig on his show
George Lopez has compared Dancing with the Stars contestant Kirstie Alley to a pig.
"She did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away," Lopez joked on Tuesday's Lopez Tonight after showing a clip of Alley's cha-cha, which earned a 23 — the second-highest score of the week.
Lopez kept the pig references coming, doing a play on the "This Little Piggy" nursery rhyme in describing the actress' pre-show activities.
"Before the show she went to the market, and then she had roast beef, and this is her going all the way home," Lopez said, showing a clip of a pig with its head hanging out the window of a car.
Alley, a former Jenny Craig spokeswoman, said earlier this month that she has lost 60 pounds and hopes to lose "30 or 40 more" while on Dancing.
Alley, 60, wasn't the only Dancing star Lopez took shots at: He also zinged Kendra Wilkinson and called Wendy Williams a man.

Last Night: Das Racist At Fitzgerald's

With tickets at the door a surprisingly steep 18 bones, Fitzgerald's was packed tighter than we expected Tuesday for the extensive, diverse lineup featuring Queens, N.Y. weed/joke-rap duo Das Racist. Before 11 p.m., Funboys, Simple Success, Fat Tony, B L A C K I E, and Lisa E had all come and gone from the upstairs stage.
Aftermath caught the tail end of the Funboys' set, who opened the night early around 9 p.m., although Muhammadali had originally been set to be out first. Without a drummer as of this past weekend, the band is presently looking for a replacement. If you or anyone you know has decent experience and are open to party, get in touch with them.
Simple Success, who have just released their Smash and Dash EP, was up next. The drum/DJ production duo of Kyle Vento and Edgar Miranda moved fluidly through songs like Waka Flocka's "No Hands," Far East Movement's "Like a G6" and Luda's "Move, Bitch." After mixing Dr. Dre and Nate Dogg's "Tha Next Episode" with a Beastie Boys track, Kyle made sure to remind the crowd of Nate Dogg's passing.
"I guess everyone knows Nate Dogg died, right?" he said, and the upstairs was flooded with repetitive calls of Nate's signature "hold up."

When "Gimme Gimme Gimme" started playing, Tony brought out B L A C K I E and we could feel the crowd's energy grow considerably. He then played local video favorites "Nigga U Ain't Fat" and "Like Hell Yeah," followed by the definitive closer we're all so familiar with, "Buy My Shit." You better buy his shit, people.
After we waited 20 minutes at the front of the stage for the headliner with a loud party favor in our mouth, Das Racist came onstage and began their set with the help of DJ iPod Ammo. During SXSW, we managed to follow these dudes around and ended up catching them a total of five times. We saw the same set every time.
