Bald People Post: Diddy -- I'll Pay For Torched Model's Hair Repair

The model who's hair went up in flames at a party thrown by Diddy earlier this month is getting an early Xmas gift courtesy of the rap mogul -- TMZ has learned Diddy's offered to pay whatever it takes to repair the damage.

As we previously reported, Miyoki Jones became a human torch when she got too close to a candle at Diddy's album release party - and the fiery event was seen by millions on Diddy's Ustream.

Justin Bieber Brings Christmas Cheer to Sick Children in Atlanta.

Justin Bieber is playing Santa Claus this Christmas.

The 16-year-old Pop sensation wrapped up his tour Thursday night (Dec 23) in Atlanta, and teamed up with local radio station Q100 to give away a busload of toys to sick children who will spend this Christmas in the hospital at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Bieber and Q100 urged concertgoers to drop off toys and games at a huge tour bus stationed outside Philips Arena. Some of the gifts will be handed out to the children in the hospital who will be sick in the bed Christmas morning, and won’t be able to run downstairs with the other children to unwrap the gifts placed under the tree.
“I have such a big platform, it would be silly if I didn’t do something positive with it,” Bieber said during the press conference.

Stephen Dorff on Sex,Tattoos and the Lion King

Stephen Dorff tells the rules for non-regrettable tattoos, and why you should never open a FedEx in public

For actors, the word comeback can be so harsh, implying a rebound from a career reduced to car dealership openings or shilling Ozarks time-shares on cable. Since his big break in 1994’s Backbeat, Stephen Dorff never actually went anywhere; just last year, he could be seen wielding a tommy gun beside Johnny Depp in Public Enemies. So instead of “comeback,” let’s call what Sofia Coppola has given the 37-year-old a “brand repositioning.” Over the years, Dorff’s roles have often been overshadowed by his reputation as a raffish Hollywood boulevardier who parties on weeknights, dates scads of beauties—Pamela Anderson, half the Elite Models roster—and once famously did verbal battle with Jeremy Piven in a bathroom line. (It all started when Dorff allegedly cut in front of Piven. Seriously.) Now with Coppola’s gorgeous film Somewhere, which won the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival, we remember why Dorff was famous in the first place: He delivers a mesmerizing performance as Johnny Marco—an actor, Chateau Marmont resident, and, well, Dorff-esque Hollywood boulevardier who finds his life and career at a crossroads.

My post-XXXmas gift to you is a double Damon Allahbarn post.

According to the liner notes, the 15-track iPad-made record features musical contributions from regular Albarn partners in crime Mick Jones, Paul Simonon, and Bobby Womack. Head over to Gorillaz' website to stream the record (you'll have to part with your name and e-mail); apparently, a download of the record is only available for fanclub members for now. Cartoon band's star redefines way music is made and sold

Gorillaz, the cartoon-based band who played in Auckland just before Christmas, have produced an album that can be downloaded for free and was largely produced using an iPad.

"I've never been someone who's embraced technology particularly," frontman Damon Albarn said, soon after announcing that Gorillaz would stop playing live in their current format.

"I've always tried to keep true to my roots, which was just a four-track and a guitar, but I got given an iPad and I suddenly found myself in a position where I could make quite a sonically sophisticated record in my hotel room."

In Retrospect: 8 Reasons why M.I.A.'s MAYA is better than you think

I’ve liked /\/\/\Y/\ since it was released over the summer. It’s actually my favorite M.I.A. record, the only one I’ve listened to regularly. It’s not the record people expected — but it was the smart record to make. The backlash received its fuel (and plenty of stoking) from Lynn Hirschberg’s infamous, agenda-ridden NYTimes truffle-fry piece, continued via a condescending Pitchfork review, became par-for-the-course. (To be fair, our Premature Evaluation, one I didn’t write or agree with, wasn’t exactly in love with the record.)

Over the summer I mentioned the treatment reminded me of when Liars’ They Were Wrong, So We Drowned was released in 2004. I reviewed They Were Wrong for, of all places, and an editor suggested I reevaluate my positive (4 Bunny Ear) score after the record was trashed by SPIN, Rolling Stone, and got a 6.3 from Pitchfork, etc. Like /\/\/\Y/\, it was an album that signaled a major break from a previous aesthetic and a push toward something quite different — in that case, the rejection of summertime dance-punk for what became the style of Drum’s Not Dead, an album I gave a 9.0 to at P4K, a review in which I made sure to mention those earlier bad scores:

My favorite detail of this feel-good story– popular Brooklyn post-punk band falls out of favor by changing directions and ultimately produces an album that eclipses its debut– is that Liars are still waltzing along on their own terms. This, their third LP, shows zero concessions to the criticisms they received from publications like Spin and Rolling Stone, who awarded They Were Wrong their lowest possible marks. Succeeding rather than regressing or retreating, Liars have had the last laugh: Drum’s Not Dead is a majestic victory lap, and on all levels, a total fucking triumph.

The major difference(s) this time is that Rolling Stone and SPIN liked /\/\/\Y/\; it’s appeared on both of their year-end lists. That, and it’s too early to tell what M.I.A. will do next, and how people will react to it, but a couple of months ago, during a staff hangout, I said we should expect a reevaluation of it sooner than later. A few days later, I started seeing tweets by folks who’d initially trashed the record saying maybe they’d been too hasty. After that, a full-on reevaluation began. I couldn’t convince everyone in these parts, which is why it didn’t make our Top 50 Of 2010 (though it did make my own Top List and Honorable Mention). Our Top 50 was built on votes and math and required more support than I could give it, but I figured I might as well give you a few reasons why the album’s better than you remember. Even if you’re not convinced, it’s a good opportunity to reiterate why it’s important to reevaluate albums beyond snap leak-week assessments.

More Grindr Pictures of Clay Aiken's Boyfriend

On Thursday we got to feast our eyes on a few nekkid photos of Clay Aiken‘s new boyfriend Jeff Walters that he posted on Grindr … and then made their way to the Internets. Christmas Miracle: Bristol Palin may be going to college

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

She just bought a $172,000 home in Arizona and looks set on Arizona State University, which notably snubbed Obama by not giving him an honorary degree when he spoke there last year.
Bristol probably picked this school because of its top-ranked Reality Television Studies program. Students can participate in a reality show abroad for a semester, and you get class credit for being on Dancing with the Stars, even if you lose. (ASU's Reality Television Museum is also one of the top in the nation, home to the embalmed bodies of the castmembers of the first four seasons of The Real World.) Wow, Bristol Palin: The College Years! This is going to be the best Palin reality show yet.

Andrew Garfield talks more about Spider-man.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

What does a superhero do to get in shape? Andrew Garfield is trying to figure that out.

The English actor, featuring this year in 'The Social Network' and 'Never Let Me Go,' won the web-slinger role in the Spiderman film franchise reboot, which brings Peter Parker back to his early, high school days as a fledgling wall crawler. That physical juxtaposition -- teenage superhero -- took some figuring out on Garfield's part.

"I think Spider-Man needs strength, but Peter Parker is still a teenager, you know? That's a very tender balance to figure out," he told the UK's Guardian newspaper (via The Hollywood Reporter). "It's very specific what we're trying to achieve in terms of body type and the feeling of that."

So how is he doing it? With a lot of help, for sure.

"Rest assured, there's a lot of people who are helping me with it because I have no discipline in that respect," Garfield continued. "My father's a swimming coach and I kind of rebelled against that very, very early on so any form of physical discipline has to be really cracked with a really smart whip."

Of course, while it's the body that's giving him the most trouble, it's the spandex above it that is perhaps most exciting.

"I feel like a kid in my pajamas," he laughed. "I don't take it lightly and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to wear spandex for the next few months."

Tobey Maguire was the same age as Andrew when he starred as high school student Peter Parker, so you can stop with the "he's too old" comments. Plus he didn't need an A-lister friend to buy blu-ray players to members of the HFPA to get nominated for a Golden Globe. Just sayin'. Also, we already know that story about his bulge in the Spider-man suit...

New Idol Promo Pics w/ JLo, Steven Tyler, etc.

Tony Duran has taken most of La Lopez's best photos, so I wonder if she influenced the photog choice a bit?

Dustin Hoffman Says He Slept With His Wife on Their First Date- Slow News Day

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

During his 'Little Fockers' New York press junket old man Dustin Hoffman talks about how he supports arrange marriages and how if it were up to him, we'd all be in arranged marriages. He also talks about how he and his wife had sex on their first date.

Hoffman on Arrange Marriages:

"Arranged marriages I think make a lot of sense because you're not under the pressure of being in love. It's an easy contract. You don't have to like each other and then whatever happens, happens."

Hoffman, on his wife breaking "cardinal rules" on their first date :

Yes we did [sleep together on the first date]. This was going to be her first movie star, her first older man, her first ex - someone who had broken up with their wife - and the first date and she did all four. And then she said I ruined it by calling the next day. That probably went against every romantic advice because she told me later that her grandmother always said, 'If you give away the milk, you have to buy the cow,' or something. What is that?... They won't buy the cow!
(Owen) Wilson: That's not true, is it? [Laughs] In fact, it's more likely if you love the milk, you're going to buy the cow.

Hoffman: Before your question I want Owen to expand on that. It's not true?

(Owen) Wilson: If you have a great glass of cold milk that's really refreshing, you'd be even more inclined not to let that cow go.

Hoffman: Right - and you try to find some chocolate chip cookies.

ONTD-  Have you ever slept with your date on the first date?
