Dannii Minogue loves breastfeeding

The Australian singer - who gave birth to Ethan, her first child with boyfriend Kris Smith five months ago - is amazed at how much she has enjoyed nursing the youngster and doesn't want to give it up.

She said: "I love it. I absolutely love it. It's the weirdest thing, because before I had the baby, when woman talked about breast feeding, I'd be a bit like, whatever, what's the big deal? Do it or don't right?

"But then you have the baby and every cell in your body is crying out to feed this baby. It's an incredible thing. I don't want to stop."

Dannii was never particularly maternal until she met Kris and now she would love to have a sibling for Ethan.

She added: "I never thought I was very maternal, and I was always so busy with work, and a baby just seemed like something I was never going to do.

"For me, the baby idea came with meeting the right man. And now he's here and he's giggling and smiling, I've gone from being not bothered about being a mum to being quite keen to have a second baby."

Kathleen Hanna Covers, Explains Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit"

Back in 1990, Kurt Cobain and Bikini Kill leader Kathleen Hanna spent an afternoon together, drinking 40s and harassing a right-wing pregnancy center. That night, Hanna wrote the words "Kurt smells like Teen Spirit" on Cobain's apartment wall, and Cobain turned that message into a song you may have heard.

As TwentyFourBit points out, a couple of nights ago, Hanna performed at the New York venue Joe's Pub, taking part in the concert series Our Hit Parade. In the video below, Hanna tells the crowd how the phrase she drunkenly wrote took on a life of its own, and how the song Cobain wrote haunted her afterward. We also get to see Hanna sing pieces of the song a couple of times, as well as Bikini Kill's own classic "Rebel Girl". Watch the terrifically entertaining video below, and watch for a cameo from Hanna's husband, Beastie Boy Ad-Rock.

Gaga stomps on fan's gift right infront of them, calls them a fucker.

A fan threw the soft toy on stage and Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, picked it up and started talking about Christmas, before ripping into it with her teeth.

Whilst she revealed she does like the festive season, she sacrificed the stuffed Santa toy for all the people who feel lonely around Christmas time.

Lady Gaga said: "I do like Christmas but for those of you who are feeling lonely this Christmas, just to keep everyone happy..." before attempting to tear off the toy's head with her teeth.

When she failed to sever Father Christmas' face, she used the heel of her white stiletto boot to try and cut through it, shouting: "I hate the holidays! I'm alone and miserable!".

Once she succeeded in her mssion, she claimed the toy was "pregnant with chemicals not suited for children."

The singer went on to ask: "Anyway, now that I've killed Santa, what am I going to do with all of you?".

Bitch is bat shit crazy tonight.

what has PAULY SHORE been up to lately?

Pauly Shore is working on many, many different projects right now. That's what he wanted me to tell you.

We connected by phone recently, ahead of his shows this weekend at the Jukebox Comedy Club. He called from his hotel room at the Hyatt Regency in Cincinnati.
"Hey, it's Pauly Shore. What's up? Can you call me back in my hotel room?"
So I did. Just as I was starting to ask a question about his childhood life - his dad is a comedian and his mom made the Comedy Store into the Los Angeles institution it is today - he intervened.

"Let me take control of this interview, if you don't mind," he said. "I think the way you need to present this is, 'When you think of Pauly Shore, what do you think of?' I'm working on so many different projects right now."

Greensleeves, a reggae label that's released an insane number of great tracks over the past few decades, always evolving to keep pace with an ever-changing genre. (This 2007 label best-of works as a pocket history of the last 30 or so years of reggae.) Matt Cardle thought of Margaret Thatcher to avoid Rihanna erection embarrassment!

Matt Cardle, admitting that he was thinking of former Tory Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher during that raunchy duet with Rihanna last weekend during the X Factor final!

Speaking to MTV he explained exactly what was going through his mind as he and Rihanna got down to some saucy hip-swinging action singing ‘Unfaithful’ on the X Factor stage… “I was actually thinking just don't get an erection,” he laughed, “I had very thin, very soft trousers on and I was like ‘please, please, please’. I was thinking ‘Margaret Thatcher, Margaret Thatcher’.”

And did it do the trick? Apparently so. “There was not a chance in hell that was going to happen to me at that stage though. I was just too nervous!” he admitted.

You might want to bear that in mind to, Matt, because Rihanna is apparently keen to work with you again! And, according to music industry rumours, so is the lovely young Ke$ha… Lucky boy!

The 10 Most Stylish Sci-Fi Movies

Science Fiction n. A literary or cinematic genre in which fantasy, typically based on speculative scientific discoveries or developments, environmental changes, space travel, or life on other planets, forms part of the plot or background.

So basically a sci-fi flick has nothing to do with style, right? WRONG! Just look to today's release of the 3D sequel, TRON: Legacy. Seriously, if body suits filled with symmetrical neon lights were acceptable in the work place, we'd be all over it. OK, that's a total lie but it's still incredibly badass to look at and we definitely wouldn't be mad if hot chicks were all over it. In the pantheon of CLASSIC sci-fi flicks, there have been a few that stand out as swagged out sartorially speaking. So what do we do? Shed light on our favorites in The 10 Most Stylish Sci-Fi Movies, from The Fifth Element's body-con, Gaultier-designed wardrobe to the gorgeously austere suiting in Gattaca, we've got it all covered.

On a 63-33 vote, and with six Republicans voting "yes," the U.S. Senate -- at a little before noon today -- voted for cloture on the stand-alone bill aimed at repealing the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" law, overcoming the largest hurdle remaining for repeal of the 1993 law banning openly gay, lesbian and bisexual military service.

The House approved the bill overwhelmingly this past week, and President Barack Obama has expressed his strong support for the bill and is expected to sign it.

The cloture vote, which required the approval of at least 60 senators, means that only 30 hours of debate remain before DADT repeal comes up for a final vote. Usually, because the vote for final passage only requires a simple majority vote of the senators, the 30-hour requirement is waived. It was not clear, however, whether Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) would allow the requirement to be waived regarding the DADT repeal bill.

Lindsay Lohan -- Scared of 'Psychotic' Photog

Lindsay Lohan knows the drill dealing with paparazzi -- but one photog has Lindsay scared stiff.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... there's a photog who drives around in a Prius with tinted windows -- who follows her everywhere she goes, running up to her car and yelling at her every time her car comes to a stop.

We're told the pap seems to live outside Lindsay's digs -- he's there everyday and doesn't miss a beat when Lindsay ventures out.

Lindsay is convinced the pap is "psychotic."

Lindsay is so upset, she's asked her lawyer to go to court and get a restraining order against this pap and several others, but so far nothing's been filed in court.

And the paparazzo isn't Lindsay's only headache. Honchos from the Betty Ford Clinic moved Lindsay to a more secure facility because of harassing text messages and phone calls.

Justin Bieber recently mentioned that he has an interest in attending university after he's done touring / high-school, and now rumours are going around that he wants to go to The University of Western Ontario!!

We contacted Jeffrey Renaud, the Senior Media Relations Officer at UWO, who had this to say about the recent speculation:

"We have no comment about Justin Bieber possibly coming to Western as we don't discuss possible incoming students (celebrity or otherwise)."

John Doerksen, the UWO Registrar and Academic Vice-Provost, had this to add:

"Western would be a wonderful destination for him. I don't know what his academic interests would be but we have one of the leading music programs in the country. He presumably also has a big business operation as well, and certainly we have the (Richard) Ivey business school here."

Besides the academic stuff, UWO is located in London, Ontario, which is only about 45-minutes from the singer's hometown of Stratford, Ontario, and was recently named one of the top "party schools" and "schools with the best looking females" in Canada - Furthermore, the school's colours are white and purple, which are Justin's favourite.

Tegan & Sara’s Top 10 Movies Of The Year

The music and film worlds have a long history of overlapping with musicians taking roles in front of camera, and actors fronting their own bands. So thus, it’s not so surprising that some of the medium’s biggest fans are indeed, musicians. Obsessively and minutely digging into the details of a film requires just as much grit as memorizing songwriter names and producing credits on your favorite albums. So with that in mind, Canadian identical twin-sister indie rock duo Tegan & Sara have kindly each emailed their individual lists of their top 10 films of the year. The talented duo’s latest effort, Sainthood was shortlisted for the 2010 Polaris Music Prize and we recommend giving it a spin.

You can check out each of their lists below as they offer up a great mix of critical favorites and films that were just enjoyed with great company and made for a great time at the movies. In case you missed it, here’s director Louis Leterrier‘s list of faves, and stay tuned for lists from some more notable folks in the next little while.

ABC orders another Shonda Rhimes pilot

ABC's prolific writer and producer Shonda Rhimes -- the woman responsible for creating "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" and producing the upcoming "Off the Map" -- may soon have another series on her hands.

Deadline reports the network has given a pilot order for her untitled project about publicists working in high-profile crisis management. Loosely based on the life of communications consultant and former White House press aid Judy Smith, it's the first pilot ABC has ordered this development season.

After delivering the script to the network on Dec. 16, it took less than 24-hours to get the go-ahead.

Over the past 6 years, our band has been through some of the most intense and incredible experiences of our lives. None of these things have been without trial. We've worked so hard to get to where we are and the fact that you are all still here with us says something about you that we will never be able to truly understand. You have stuck with us through thick and thin and we are so grateful. A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday. None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore. We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn't here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere. But we never for a second thought about leaving any of this behind. We really hope that you can be encouraged by the fact that the three of us who are still here are ready to take on another chapter of our journey together. You have always been what keeps us going so why would we stop now? We want to stick by you. Knowing that we have a unified passion and a clear vision makes us feel stronger than ever.

The "blog" that was posted regarding everything that is going on with our band was a fake. We aren't sure who did it or why... And we aren't sure how they timed it this way. This is the first time that we have spoken out about what's going on and we wouldn't have released an official statement that important through a personal blog. So, we're sorry for any confusion and just to remain clear, this is the first time we have spoken out about this.

We have some amazing things lined up for next year starting with our tour in South America. We are still coming to you and we are excited about who we are bringing with us! The tour is still on and we can't wait to see you all.
As we look back, and now as we look with excitement to the future, in all of this what truly matters are the good times. The pictures of us with our arms around each other, the long van rides, your faces while you sing along as we play. Thank you for getting us right here to this very moment. We look forward to our best times. And we hope you will go there with us.

Spector's Rage Over Richards Book

Sixties singer Ronnie Spector was furious when she read Keith Richards' tell-all book - because she mistakenly thought his tales of druggy excesses with Ronnie Wood referred to her.

The Ronettes star was close friends with the Rolling Stones wildman in the band's heyday, but is adamant she "never, ever" took narcotics when partying with him.

And she was "angry" when she leafed through his recent memoirs Life and saw his anecdotes about drug-taking with "Ronnie" - until she realised he was referring to his bandmate Wood.

Spector tells Vanity Fair, "It was never like that with Keith and me. It was always very innocent. It wasn't all about 'let's get in the bed' with him. I never had sex with him or anything like that... We may have kissed, I don't remember. It was 40 years ago.

"I was skimming through it the other day, and he's talking about Ronnie, and I think, 'Oh, he must mean me. I'll read this.' And then he writes, 'We went in the bathroom and did drugs.' I was like, 'Keith! I never did drugs! What are you saying?'

"I was so angry with him. I never, ever did drugs with him. In fact, I used to yell at Keith. I'd say, 'You can do a little marijuana but don't go any further than that.' So I'm reading this and I'm just fuming. I'm ready to call him and really cuss him out, but then I read a little more and it turns out he was actually talking about Ronnie Wood."

Alex Prettyfer Signs On For a New Project

Alex Pettyfer (upcoming "I Am Number Four," "Beastly") will star in Dreamworks' adaptation of the novel "Shunt: The Story of James Hunt," written by Tom Rubython. Hunt, a British racing driver whose charm turned the whole country on to the sport, won the Formula One World Championships in 1976. The book describes his life as "the story of a man who started his racing career penniless, earned millions in a lifetime of success, but, in an astonishing twist of fate at the end of his life, died exactly as he had begun – penniless." (Hunt passed away in 1993 at the age of 45.) Pettyfer will produce the project with John Palermo ("The Wolverine").

Shakira publishes Dora the Explorer children's book

The Barranquilla pop-star Shakira published her first children's book "World School Day Adventure," El Tiempo reports on Thursday.

The book, part of Nickelodeon's "Dora the Explorer" series, tells the story of Dora and her companion Boots who deliver school supplies to those schools that do not have them.

Shakira wants "the children from all over the world to know that through knowledge and education one can embark on great adventures."

"Dora is an inspiration for all children in the world. It was an honor working with Nickelodeon to write this story as education is a cause very close to my heart," the Colombian singer added.

"Working with Shakira to create an educational and enriching story has been an extraordinary experience," Paula Allen from Nickelodeon said.

A percentage of the royalties will go to Shakira's Pies Descalzos Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of children.

Kate Moss invites Cher Lloyd to be her lively annual party

Kate Moss has taken a shine to The X Factor’s Cher Lloyd and invited her to her notorious annual Christmas party – after admitting she sees herself in the young singer.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Kate has been captivated by Cher, 17, since the show’s audition stage, so she and long-term beau Jamie Hince have asked her to the bash at Kate’s home. 'Cher couldn’t believe her eyes when she received the invitation,’ said source.

'The theme of the party is a homage to Agatha Christie’s Mousetrap. It could be a turning point for Cher if she goes. Jamie personally designed the invitations and each was made individually, with something attached to signify each recipient.’

Kate, 36, is keen to introduce tempestuous Cher to her inner circle of friends. ‘Kate believes Cher has the same spirit as she had as a teenager when she started out in the modelling world. She is probably the only person outside Kate’s normal Primrose Hill set to have been invited.’

Rapper confesses to murder from 17 years ago

It took nearly two decades, but the guilt of murder finally became too much for Trevell Coleman.

Wednesday night, after years of living with the burden, Coleman, 36, walked into the 25th Precinct and shockingly confessed to the very cold case, the sources said.

The career criminal -- once signed to superstar rap mogul Shawn "Diddy" Combs' record label -- was just 18 when he fatally shot a Queens man outside an East Harlem housing project in 1993, police sources said.

"I shot and killed someone 17 years ago," Coleman told a cop in the station house.

As Coleman continued to reveal more details of the Oct. 19, 1993, murder of John Henkel outside the James Weldon Johnson Houses -- things only the killer would know -- the officer reached out to investigators at the 23rd Precinct, where the crime took place.

"It was just eating away at him," said a police source.

Neverland Ranch to become a music institute?

The owners of the Neverland Ranch -former home of King of Pop Michael Jackson- want to turn the property into a teenage music haven.
Colony Capital real estate firm wants to develop a business plan to turn Neverland into a small music institute, similar to The Juilliard School in NYC.

According to TMZ website, the plan is to teach scores of teens -rich and poor- all aspects of music, including writing and performing.

There are two big stumbling blocks. The first is making sure Santa Barbara County will sign off on such a project. The second is whether Colony Capital can use Michael Jackson's name to promote such an institute.

However, sources directly connected with the Michael Jackson Estate think that, "It's an interesting idea and we'd be open to it."

Showing up to promote their upcoming movie, Emily Blunt and Jack Black were busy on the red carpet at Grauman's Chinese Theater for the Hollywood premiere of "Gulliver's Travels" on Saturday afternoon (December 18).

With the "Kung Fu Panda" actor joined by his lovely wife, Black offered up a range of humorous poses before joining up with Miss Blunt and fellow co-star Jason Segel ahead of the Tinseltown screening.

Talking about the Jonathan Swift book-based movie, Black recently spoke with press of deciding to use the newly popular 3D medium, saying, "You know, somewhere around the time that Avatar came out and made $2 billion, the idea was floated to us [laughs]. And, you know, it made a lot of sense for our movie because the fantasy/adventure genre is just a good fit, especially with the big, epic scenes with, you know, the Blefuscian Armada and the cannonballs. Also starring Amanda Peet and Billy Connolly, the Rob Letterman directed family film "Gulliver's Travels" is slated to hit theaters nationwide on Christmas Day, December 25th.

My dad does brilliant Jack Nicholson impersonations and has made a living from this – but only because he looks like him. He's a terrible actor and I tell him that to his face. But he's got total commitment and I think what I've got from him is sort of an ability to give 150% to whatever I'm doing.

I think being a parent is the most challenging thing you do. That's why we're here. It's at the heart of what it is to be a human being. It's the ultimate experience because it questions everything about who you are. But it's difficult. My job takes me away from my daughter, Lily, 11, a lot, so when I am with her the time is really important. When I'm filming, I try to speak to Lily every day and let her know that I'm thinking of her and hopefully stay a presence in her life. Career-wise, lots of things are happening that I've always wanted to happen and I want Lily to have as an example a parent who is enjoying their work and is passionate about their work but at the same time I don't want it to be something that takes me away from her too much.

The 'Brokeback Mountain' actress also opens up about playing tragic characters, including Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming 'My Week With Marilyn,' and lighter things like how her daughter prefers Ginger Rogers to 'iCarly' and why she felt like a "mobster" while shooting 'Dawson's Creek' for all those years.

Hi Michelle, can you just wait a second while I check my tape recorder. Oh shivers.
Did you just say "shivers"? I love it.

Paula Deen Gets Called Out; Should Stick With Promoting Butter

If you enjoy eating pork occasionally, you might not want to read any further. But you probably should -- especially as America waits to learn the fate of the almost universally hailed food-safety bill, which suddenly faces hurdles in Congress.

This week the Humane Society released the results of its undercover investigation of a Virginia pig farm that's owned by Smithfield Foods, the largest pork producer in the world. A Humane Society investigator spent a month inside the Waverly, Va., facility, armed with a hidden camera. Among the more disturbing findings was this:

[ww] not mental or anything

He had yellow eyes. So help me God, yellow eyes!

Recognize this guy? It's Zack Ward, who played bully Scut Farkus in A Christmas Story.

You remember Scut, the yellow-eyed monster who terrorizes little Ralphie until, one day, Ralphie snaps. The result is one of the most cathartic scenes in cinema history.

"One thing that helped sell it, when Peter Billingsley's punching me in the face, obviously his little fists are not hitting me, but as most Canadian kids will remember, he had idiot strings on his mittens. And those mittens were 1940s-style leather mittens that, when they got wet and then went back out in the cold, they froze. So, basically, even though his hands were missing me, these mittens, these frozen popsicles, are slapping the bejesus out of my cheeks," recalls Ward, now 41, on the phone from L.A. He's lived and worked there - including small parts in Almost Famous, Transformers and TV's Lost - since he was 25.

"If you look at my face, my cheeks are bright red from being slapped repeatedly," he continues. "That's not acting, that's being slapped around. And when I sit up and I sniffle and I rub my nose and look all weak, that was my revenge on all those bullies who had beaten me up."

Though the 1983 film was shot largely in Toronto, Ward is one of the cast's few Canadians. He grew up all over Ontario because his mother, an actor, moved to where the work was. Starting over so often meant that Ward was often the one being bullied.

"If you have red hair, and your name is Zack, and your mom's a single parent, and you're not playing hockey, and you're the new kid in class over and over again, you get picked on," he says. "For me, playing the bully was revenge because I got to enact the aspects of the bully that I despised."

Ward plans to be in Toronto visiting his mom this month. "So everybody can walk down the street and go, 'Oh my God, it's that guy,'" he says.

Does he get that a lot? "I do." And more around Christmastime? "You betcha."

Love this movie forever.

amy adams wishes you a happy christmas

Amy Adams is still thoroughly enchanting. Let's just state that for the record right here and now. In her black skirt, red chiffon top, and purple pumps with the four-inch heels that levitate her to the 5-foot-8 stature she believes God actually intended for her, she remains the irresistible charmer who played a princess in the 2007 hit Enchanted. Still, several things are remarkably different about Adams today--starting with her latest film, a 180-degree turn from the sweet-tempered roles she's best known for.

In The Fighter, starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale--the true story of junior welterweight boxer "Irish" Micky Ward, whose memorable bouts in the early 2000s made him the pride of Lowell, Mass.--she plays Ward's girlfriend, Charlene, a whip-smart, no-nonsense, working-class barmaid who can land a few punches of her own in a street brawl. "You don't mess with Charlene," says Adams. "She says what she means, and I love that."

Is Christina done with music?

Christina Aguilera who made her film debut with new musical 'Burlesque' would like to work on projects away from the music she is best known for, as she has "caught" the acting bug.

The 29-year-old star told BANG Showbiz: "I would like to do more film in the future, maybe a departure from the musicals. I've definitely caught the bug a little bit!"

The singer-and-actress - who is currently in the process of divorcing husband Jordan Bratman - recently revealed she is looking forward to turning 30 and entering a new "chapter" in her life.

She said: "In this business, people get really scared of age but I wear my wounds as something I'm proud of. You learn so much more about yourself and now I couldn't even imagine being 20 again. I really wouldn't want to be, to be honest, going through all the growing pains.

"Now I just feel that I've arrived at a place where I'm experiencing a lot of change for myself in a great way. I'm growing as a person and as a woman, and I think that this is the beginning of a new chapter for me."

X Factor drama~

Cheryl Cole's refusal to vote off one of her acts received the most complaints during The X Factor series, it has been revealed.

TV watchdog Ofcom said 1,465 viewers complained when the 27-year-old would not choose between Katie Waissel and Treyc Cohen.

Overall, more than 5,000 complaints were lodged about the show.

This week it was reported that raunchy X Factor performances by Rihanna and Christina Aguilera may lead to an Ofcom investigation after more than 1,000 complaints were made to the media regulator.

The X Factor final at the weekend saw Rihanna perform her latest single, What's My Name, in what appeared to be her underwear. Later in the show Christina Aguilera sang Express, from the film Burlesque, and was accompanied by scantily-clad dancers.

Ofcom have a clear broadcasting code in place, which aims to 'protect children from sexualised content', but many feel that ITV have broken the code.

An Ofcom spokesperson said: 'We are assessing the complaints but are not currently investigating the show.'
