The Social Network (2010)
Can a movie really define a generation? The Social Network comes damn close. It uses the tangled roots of Facebook, created by anti-social Harvard undergrad Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) to show how technology is winning the battle against actual human contact, creating a nation of narcissists shaping their own reality like a Facebook page. If youth can't see itself in this movie, it's just not paying attention. Here are 12 other movies from the past half century that caught a generation in the act of defining itself.

Inspired by true events, "The Rite" follows skeptical seminary student Michael Kovak (Colin O'Donoghue), who reluctantly attends exorcism school at the Vatican. While in Rome, he meets an unorthodox priest, Father Lucas (Anthony Hopkins), who introduces him to the darker side of his faith. Harry Potter star Emma Watson said she had to 'grit her teeth' during her kissing scenes in the final two movies.
Watson, 20, who plays Hermione in the movie series, has to kiss her co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint in the last film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which is being split into two parts.
Speaking to Britain's SFX magazine about the scenes, she said: 'Getting into character to kiss Dan and Rupert was tough also. Forgetting all of our history, and our relationship.
'Putting all that aside and being in character was pretty bloody hard, it really was. That required a huge amount of professionalism. I really had to grit my teeth and be like: 'I am Hermione, this is Harry - stop thinking that it's Emma kissing Dan. It's not. It's all good.''

This time around and for its 19th edition it's all about "Falling in love in Italy". Photographed by Mark Seliger ... a man a woman and a coffee. It would have been nice to maybe see a man a man and a coffee. It did not have to be gay but you know a sort of bromance around a cup of expresso would not have hurt anyone, it's 2011 not 1950.
Among the models, actress Olivia Wilde and her husband, Brazilian model Jeisa Chiminazz and Ivan Olita, Bill Gentle, Enrique Palacios, Alessandro Giallocosta, Monica Castillo, Violett Budd ...

For Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce's heroine Peggy Olsen, season four was a year of personal and professional milestones: Increasingly aware of her newfound power, she fired her first underling (for the as-yet-unlabeled offense of sexual harassment); left her traditionalist boyfriend for anti-establishment Abe; abandoned the martini bars of Madison Avenue for Warhol-esque warehouse parties; saw her hard work rewarded with a Clio, albeit one in Don’s name; and landed the account that broke the agency's dry spell. In the finest episode of the season, “The Suitcase,” it became clear that Peggy is the only person in the world who understands Don, and vice versa — a realization that changed nothing and everything. Elisabeth Moss called us from the road in Utah, where she was en route to the set of Lawrence Kasdan’s new film, Darling Companion.

If you're a gay Facebook user, you may have noticed that the ads that appear on your page are particularly tailored to your preferences.
Just as if you are a guy who put "surfing" in your "likes," an ad for a local surf shop might show up, putting "men" in your "interested in" category might make an ad for a gay bar appear. Which makes sense. But that's not the only kind of targeted ad that you may have noticed; what about those ads for the handsome male real-estate agents? The discount offers for head shots or Broadway show tickets? The little shills for light beer? "Alarmingly, we found ads where the ad text was completely neutral to sexual preference (e.g. for a nursing degree in a medical college in Florida) that was targeted exclusively to gay men," noted a recent study of online ads, which revealed that exactly half of the ads shown exclusively to gay men on Facebook don't explicitly include the word "gay." "The danger with such ads, unlike the gay-bar ad where the target demographic is blatantly obvious, is that the user reading the ad text would have no idea that by clicking it he would reveal to the advertiser both his sexual-preference and a unique identifier (cookie, IP address, or email address if he signs up on the advertiser's site)."
As Gawker points out, if you clicked on that nursing-school ad, now your future educators know you are gay. Granted, you've put that preference on your Facebook page, so you are comfortable with a certain number of people knowing you are gay. But no matter what your privacy level, Facebook can use that information to sell targeted ads. Having only a select group of friends know your sexual preference is a bit different from having a potential future employer, educator, or provider of services know.
There is, of course, a flip side to this: Gay users can now know what products advertisers think of as "their" products. For example, the Honda hybrid CR-Z: Based on the number of times Intel Chris has seen that on his Facebook page, we can pretty much assume that the car giant thinks of this as their "gay model."
It’s no secret that he’s popular with the ladies, and Robert Pattinson is once again Glamour Magazine’s Sexiest Man of the Year.
The “Twilight” stud also topped last year’s list, and if his uber-successful career keeps going, there’s no telling how long his run at #1 will last.

Wooohooo! Disney has finally released the full Daft Punk Poster for Tron: Legacy!
Dimension Films is rushing a sequel to Piranha 3-D into production, for release next summer, they're really calling it Piranha 3-DD. Feast's John Gulager will direct and Saw 3-D writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan are doing the script. And whoever didn't die in the first movie might be back
In a move that might not make James Cameron's day, Dimension Films has locked in a director and writers and will race to get a Piranha 3D sequel up and running quickly enough to hit theaters by late August, 2011. Dimension has set John Gulager to direct and Saw 3D scribes Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan to write Piranha 3 DD, the sequel to last summer's toothy fish fest that found itself earning the ire of Cameron. The filmmaker cited it as an example of the hasty 3D conversions, while he was barnstorming for Avatar. That led to a sharp -- and lengthy -- rebuke from Piranha 3D's producer Mark Canton. For the sequel, Dimension's Bob Weinstein has reassembled the team behind Feast, the Dimension horror film that served as a season of the TV show Project Greenlight. The director and writers got their starts on that low-budget horror film. Gulager went on to direct two Feast sequels while the scribes moved on to write four installments of the Saw franchise. They recently set an updated version of the classic anthology series The Outer Limits at MGM.
The Alexandre Aja-directed Piranha 3D got decent reviews for being a self-aware film that didn't take itself too seriously as it unleashed a prehistoric piranha pack on an unsuspecting crowd of scantily-clad, drunken spring breakers. Much of the cast, including Eli Roth, became chum in the bloody waters, but whoever remains from the original cast might be back, along with some surprising thesps who'll serve as fresh meat. Making a late summer date will be difficult, but not impossible, if the writers nail the script in the next four weeks. Let's face it, they aren't writing Citizen Kane here. Clearly, Dimension smells money in the water and doesn't want to wait an extra summer to cash in. The original, which cost $20 million to make and another $20 million to market, has chomped its way to a worldwide gross of $71 million so far, with Japan and several other territories still to open. The scribes are repped by Underground and APA.
This is a Public Service Announcement for anyone flying JetBlue out of JFK next Wednesday: Allot some extra time to get through the security line, as hordes of Taylor Swift fans will likely be trying to dupe TSA agents into letting them into the terminal without boarding passes. As part of a promotional deal with the airline, Swift will be playing a short five-song set inside the terminal for 30 lucky contest winners and all the properly ticketed passengers running to make the flight that Swift and Co. made them late for. Should you be lucky enough to be flying on a day when getting through airport security is only the regular amount of annoying, know that the Swift will still get to you: “The airline will promote Ms. Swift’s album for at least two months on its in-flight entertainment network ... Among other placements, she will be featured in a brief commercial that runs — and cannot be turned off — after takeoff.”
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- Christina Aguilera’s first performance since announcing her separation from husband Jordan Bratman will be at the 2010 American Music Awards, airing November 21 on ABC, Access Hollywood has learned exclusively. She will perform a song from her new movie “Burlesque.”
Christina stars in the new film, opening November 24, alongside Cher, Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell, Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough, Eric Dane and others.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Christina filed for divorce from her husband last week. In the papers filed last Thursday in Los Angeles, and obtained by Access Hollywood, the Grammy winner cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
“Burlesque” is about a small town girl (Christina), who moves to LA and starts work and becomes the center of drama at a burlesque club, run by a former dancer (Cher).
Cher has gone on record praising Christina and her other co-stars, including Kristen, Eric and Julianne.
“Bout me & Xtina ! Didn’t know her b4, but she worked her a** off,” Cher Tweeted recently. “She has my respect & a great deal of my love.”
“I wanted 2 help her ! In my heart I think I did,” Cher, 64, added.
“K bell kicks a** ! She is smoking,” Cher wrote of Kristen, who plays Christina’s rival, Nikki. “Julianne has a great sensitivity! Eric well I’ve known him since he was a teenager I’m proud!”
Cam also got a Tweet shout out from the superstar as did Peter Gallagher, who are also part of the cast.
“Cam has got chops,” Cher wrote. “Peter Gallagher never stops creating! Hope I don’t seem like stupid Divia Just observations.”
Cher, who won an Oscar for “Moonstruck” in 1987, added that filming the project wasn’t easy, especially with all the stars.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA reportedly made a late-night rush to a hospital with a bleeding mouth just days before splitting up with JORDAN BRATMAN.
The 29-year-old pop diva, who is seeking to end her five-year marriage, visited the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre with her husband, according to celebrity website RadarOnline.
A witness said: "Christina was bleeding from her mouth and had a bit of a busted lip.
"Jordan told the nurses she had fallen down."
According to the witness, Christina was sporting "bumps and red bruises" along with her bloodied lip.
"Shortly after they arrived to Cedars, Christina's 'private surgeon' arrived to put a few stitches in her lip," the unnamed witness added.
Adding to the mystery of her injury, Christina was photographed on October 12 wearing a hat pulled down over her face with what appears to be a small cut below her lower lip.
That was the same day that she and Jordan announced the end of their five-year marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences".
The singer's spokesperson had no comment when asked about the report of Xtina''s split lip.
"According to a report from the Madison County Sheriff's Department, a deputy was called to Shirley's home Tuesday night on a domestic disturbance after Shirley pushed an underwear-clad Portwood out of the home after she threatened to attack him over a text message he received.
Portwood told deputies that she's been under stress over the battery investigation in the Teen Mom series. With a private security team stationed outside of her house, she declined to talk about the latest in a series of outbursts with the focus now on the welfare of this Teen Mom's child."
Amber + Gary.... you need SERIOUS HELP. Seek counselling and anger management. You are NOT ok. Especially you, girlfriend.
The day after news of her separation from husband Jordan Bratman broke last week, Christina Aguilera, who will appear on the December cover of REDBOOK, spoke exclusively to the magazine about how she was coping with the split.
“It’s not easy, and there have been a lot of tears and sadness,” she said. “It’s impossible to redefine yourself and your life overnight. Thankfully, I have my mom and a small group of close friends who are there for me 24/7 and whom I can trust and depend on. On days when it feels impossible to even get out of bed, much less function as a mother, their support and encouragement have kept me moving forward.”

Recently, bands that were jamming under the radar have been making an abrupt climb into the mainstream. These acts’ meteoric rises have turned them from unknowns to stars in an instant.
What was the trick to their sudden success? In some cases, it took a certain song to generate some fame, or perhaps a debut album with huge buzz around it. Instead of changing their styles or pulling off some stunt, these acts simply got the right opportunity and took it.
Among the mainstream risers are bands such as Florence + the Machine, Local Natives and Mumford & Sons.

Moviefone is looking for fans to submit questions for an upcoming Unscripted for 'Due Date' with star Zach Galifianakis and director Todd Phillips. If you're unfamiliar with Unscripteds, they are when stars (and sometimes the director) of a movie interview one another with fan questions...
We're only a few weeks away from 'Due Date,' the comedic re-teaming of 'Hangover' director Todd Phillips, and the very bearded, very funny Zach Galifianakis. In 'Due Date,' Robert Downey Jr. stars as a soon-to-father who is racing on a cross-country trip to be there for the birth of his child. The only thing that could get in his way is his travel companion, the oddball Ethan -- played by Zach G.
The movie doesn't open until Friday, November 5, but fans can get a unique performance from Galifianakis and Phillips, when the two join Moviefone for an episode of Unscripted.
On Wednesday, Oct. 27, Galifianakis and Phillips will take turns interviewing each other using questions supplied by you. This is your chance to learn anything and everything from the big-screen funnymen -- you might find out how Phillips was able to control someone like Zach G. on the set, you might see them argue over what is the funniest movie ever made, or you could even see them attempt to portray Sherlock Holmes better than RDJ.
Really, you can ask anything you want, just make sure to submit your question before Tuesday, Oct. 26, by 12PM EST in the comments [on the original Moviefone post here], and to include your name and location.

Keira Knightley is reportedly in talks to return to the London stage in a new production of Lillian Hellman's classic playThe Children's Hour.
According to the New York Post, she will star in the play in the West End under the direction of Ian Rickson, who staged a terrific revival a few years ago of "The Seagull" on Broadway.
Originally premiered on Broadway in 1934, The Children's Hour was last produced in London at the National's Lyttelton Theatre in 1994, in a production that featured Emily Watson, Harriet Walter and Clare Higgins. The play is set set in an all-girls boarding school run by two women, Karen Wright and Martha Dobie. An angry student, Mary Tilford, runs away from the school, and to avoid being sent back she tells her grandmother that the two headmistresses are having a lesbian affair. The accusation proceeds to destroy the women's careers, relationships and lives.
Knightley previously appeared on the West End stage in The Misanthrope that opened in December 2009 at the Comedy Theatre, running through March 2010.

Gili Shem Tov and Dorit Milman The winner of the show will be revealed in January
Israel's version of Dancing With The Stars is to include the show's first same-sex couple in the new series.
TV presenter Gili Shem Tov, who has a female partner in real life, said dancing with another woman felt "natural" to her.
She will be partnered with professional dancer Dorit Milman when the show's sixth season begins on 1 November.
The couple will take it in turns to take on the traditional male role of leading the dances.
Dance professional Milman, who is heterosexual, has appeared on the programme since its first series.
"I have realised that dance is about co-ordination and energy between two people, whether female or male," Tov said.
"The challenge to dance with a woman in a public contest interested me because it's unique and has never been done before.
"Because I share my life with a woman and have a family with her, to me this is the most natural thing to do."
The show - known as Rokdim Im Kokhavim in Israel - will also feature a guest appearance by Pamela Anderson.
The former Baywatch actress, who took part in the US version of Dancing With The Stars, will make two appearances in the Israeli show, where she will comment on the dances and perform her own routine.
Twelve celebrities, including Israel's boxing champion Merhav Mohar and singer Sharon Haziz, will compete in the competition until the end of January 2011 when the winner will be selected by public vote.

Stefano Gabbana - What sort of style does she do? What’s so special about it??
Fabio Viscovo – She makes a lot of minimalist sequined dresses... ... .. they’re really feminine. They’re perfect for a nude look!
Fabio Viscovo – Come on! You’ve just got to have seen them! And although she’s really famous … she’s still an upcoming designer!

CHERYL Cole's brand new single The Flood has just landed - and you can listen to it here!
X Factor 2010 judge Cheryl Cole is one busy lady at the moment what with mentoring the girls and performing on the show herself this Saturday night.
And here she is back with her second single from her new album Messy Little Raindrops which (just like Take That's latest track!) is called The Flood.
The Girls Aloud star's latest song is a sad un' - perhaps referring back to her break-up from ex-hubby Ashley Cole earlier in the year.
The chorus "But you can't hold on to water/ It fills you up but never stays/ It's only good to wash away today/ And you're loving me like me water/ You're slipping through my fingers, such/A natural disaster love" had us welling up this morning.
But despite the tear-inducing words, we found ourselves humming along to the catchy tune and just loving the sound of Chezza's signature voice.
So what do you think Cheryl fans?

While she's currently occupied with "Breaking Dawn" work efforts, Dakota Fanning is reportedly in talks to take on yet another new role.
The 16-year-old star is following in line with "Twilight" cast members scoring other Summit Entertainment projects - as she's eyeing a role in their upcoming movie titled "If I Stay."
According to Variety, the new project is described as "a supernatural story adapted from Gayle Forman's young adult novel."
To be helmed by Brazilian director Heitor Dhalia, "If I Stay" follows "a gifted classical musician named Mia (to be played by Fanning) and her indie rocker boyfriend. Mia and her family suffer a devastating car accident, leaving the young girl trapped between life and death and forced to decide if she has the will to live."
Still in early stages of production, no dates for startup have been decided/released at the current time.
The Los Angeles Times recently interviewed Kristen Stewart while promoting her new film Welcome To The Rileys. Kristen talked about playing a mother and the pregnancy in Breaking Dawn and wanting a cheeseburger.
“My best friend just had a baby. She’s my age. So I’m a godmom now, which is … crazy,” said the 20-year-old during an interview to promote her upcoming film “Welcome to the Rileys.”
Asked if the experience was helping her tap into her own maternal instincts, she replied: “It’s actually making me realize more that I have absolutely no idea. Like, I see that going on, and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God.’ ”
Though “Breaking Dawn,” the fourth installment in the “Twilight” franchise, doesn’t begin production for a few weeks, Stewart says she’s already been caught up with preparations for the film. She’s had a number of meetings with director Bill Condon and has even temporarily eliminated some favorites from her diet.
“I want a cheeseburger so badly, but, you know, I have to be a vampire in a few weeks,” she said over lunch at a restaurant in Topanga, where she settled for a veggie burger.
Ironically, she won’t even be able to show off her figure for the majority of “Breaking Dawn.”
“I’m incredibly pregnant in the first movie,” Stewart said, adding that she has spent the last couple of weeks trying on prosthetic bellies. “I’ve worn it. It’s … crazy. I’ve done fittings. It gets immense. It gets so massive at some point that it actually looks inhuman. Like it’s hurting her. There are striations of bruises.”

Radio DJ Dean Blundell, tweeted how much he hates Justin Bieber, describing the young singer and his fans using offensive language online and during his morning show on Toronto station CFNY.
Toronto radio station CFNY has been reprimanded by the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council after a host made comments about Justin Bieber fans that the council concluded "inappropriately sexualized children."
In a decision released Wednesday, the council said the comments violated part of its "equitable portrayal code," which prohibits the sexualization of children in broadcasting.
The council said CFNY morning host Dean Blundell tweeted about his dislike for Bieber last October and suggested in vulgar terms that the singer was likely gay. He subsequently received tweets from Bieber's fans, noting on air on Oct. 20, 2009, that they were likely 12 years old, the council said.
During that show, Blundell and his co-hosts then repeated select tweets and Blundell's responses, some of which apparently referred to incest.
According to the council's account: "To a female fan, Blundell said he had tweeted, 'Save your energy for puberty or to fend off your dad tonight while you're sleepin."' About the one male fan who had contacted him, Blundell said, "He'll be chuggin' before he's 18 1/8... 3/8 if he likes that music."
The council concluded that the comments were "gratuitous and unnecessary."
CFNY must now announce the decision on air within the next three days during peak listening hours, and once more during the time slot in which Blundell's show was broadcast last October. They must also prove to the council that they have done so.
The council's investigation was spurred by a complaint from a listener, who had previously tried to take the issue up with a program director at CFNY.
A spokesperson for the station did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council is an independent, non-governmental organization created by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters in 1986 to administer standards established by its members.
The decision comes as gossip sites are buzzing about reports that Bieber was allegedly caught up in an altercation during a game of laser tag in Vancouver.
The celebrity gossip website TMZ.com quoted unnamed sources saying a boy went out of his way to target Bieber during a laser tag game before using an anti-gay slur against the Juno-nominated singer.
We left off last season with some major burning questions. For example: What will become of the cash-strapped Pawnee government? How will Tom react to Wendy and Ron’s rekindling? Will April put up the good fight for Andy? And exactly what would a bacon-covered turkey leg (aka: the “Swanson”) taste like? Frankly, the suspense is killing me.
NBC told EW that even in light of the full-season pickup of Outsourced, the plan is still to bring back Parks midseason, but there is no word as to how the schedule will be arranged.
Nine years after breaking out as a Food Network personality, Ray is an established star who still keeps stirring the pot.
She has 18 cookbooks and an iPhone app. But mostly she has her TV shows. In addition to her talk show, her original "30 Minute Meals" is still in production, as is the new "Rachael Ray's Week in a Day" on the Cooking Channel. It all adds up to more than 1,300 hours of television since 2001 — or almost two months' worth of around-the-clock Rachael and her exclamations of "Yum-O!"
Repetition clearly hasn't dimmed her enthusiasm. On a recent day of filming at a Manhattan studio made to look like an urban loft, she segued breezily from cooking dishes to dishing about "Dancing with the Stars." Young aides in T-shirts printed with "Yum-O" and "EVOO" bustled during breaks to prep the kitchen set. The pace never slowed, even after a broken boot heel forced Ray to hobble around.

Snooki Goes Celibate: 'I Haven't Had Sex In Three Months'
It's an especially cold winter on the shore and it's even colder in Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's bed!
The pint sized reality star told a Detroit radio show Thursday she "hasn't had sex in three months" -- and RadarOnline.com has the full interview.
"You have to have sex to get pregnant," Snooki told the show's hosts.
The two dropped by the station to promote Jersey Shore's season finale which airs Thursday and their future projects.
The main "Avengers" lineup was announced at Comic-Con, but there has been a lot of speculation since Joss Whedon was announced as the film's director about which (if any) of Whedon's retinue of loyal actors would pop up in the film.
Recently, Morena Baccarin said she was interested in joining the cast after rumors swirled that she was preparing for a role as The Wasp. Then there was the sad news that Nathan Fillion's attachment to the ABC series "Castle" restricted him from coming on board. But Whedon regular Eliza Dushku has so far been mum on the subject.
I spoke with Dushku over the phone on Friday while she was promoting the recently released "Dollhouse" Season Two DVD and Blu-Ray, and she said that she hasn't talked to Whedon about giving her a role in "Avengers"... yet.

Here is a new redband trailer for I Love You Phillip Morris, the film that will be released December 3 by Roadside Attractions. The subversive comedy evident in Glenn Ficarra and John Requa's comedy script Bad Santa were missing from earlier promotional materials on the film. They are evident in this trailer, which will at least take pressure off Universal's The Dilemma.

So back in July of 2008 I(Me. xlovexlessxtyx.) got the chance to interview Jason DeMarco. For those of you who don't know who that is. He is the co-creator of Toonami, an action/adventure animated programming block that lasted from 1997 to 2008. We covered a lot in the interview from the creation of Toonami, and it's original characters(TOM, Sara, etc.), to the music and it's anime acquisitions(which include some studio ghibly films) Here are some snippets from that interview as well as the link to the full interview:
Saturday, June 21st, began the process of setting up an interview with the co-creator of Toonami, the artist, and repertoire for Williams Street Records, Jason DeMarco. On Tuesday, July 1st, that interview took place. To say that I was excited would be an understatement. I was tingling with nerves and anxiety. Although I considered myself prepared, having an outline of discussion topics in hand, I still kept wondering if this was actually real.
Needless to say, the interview went far beyond my expectations. In the beginning I was just the fan, in awe of this man who helped inspire my career choice. But by the end, we were simply two people discussing a common interest. I learned about Toonami from the view of someone behind the scenes. And to hear about it from the horse’s mouth - or keyboard, so to speak - doesn’t compare to reading about something on a website.
I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did.

Full interview at the source. Hey guys. I know it's easy to go right to the nostalgia part of this post(believe you me I'm excited for some Big O, Outlaw Star and Tenchi Muyo discussions later), but let's at least appreciate the people at Williams Street for introducing us to some quality stuff. :D

What's more, each of the pickups is earned: All of the shows have performed competitively in their time periods, with Hawaii, Molly and $#*! averaging above a 3.0 in the adults 18-49 rating.
The pickup reflects a strong performance by CBS this fall, which has had the broadcaster in first place for the first month of the season.
"It's personally thrilling and extremely satisfying," CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler told The Hollywood Reporter. "I like kept walking around the halls going, 'I want 5 for 5.'"
Tassler credits the network's strong development this year, promotion and smart scheduling moves.
The pickups do give the network a luxury problem, however -- fitting the network's midseason shows into the schedule. Tassler wouldn't rule out reducing the episode orders for some. CBS isn't announcing how many episodes of each show was ordered, sources say $#*! may only be for six episodes instead of the customary nine, plus three scripts. Hawaii received back nine plus two scripts.
"We're looking at all possible ideas," Tassler said. "It's not just about filling slots but launching a successful midseason schedule."
For midseason, the network has Chaos, Mad Love, Live to Dance and the Criminal Minds spinoff.
The ratings to date: Hawaii has averaged 14.2 million and a 4.1 adults 18-49 rating; Blue has averaged 12.7 million and a 2.2; Defenders 11.3 million and a 2.8; Molly 12.3 million and 4.1 and $#*! 11.3 million and 3.5.
Mel Gibson will not be in The Hangover Part II.
Although director Todd Phillips and Warner Bros. were ready to feature Gibson in a cameo as a tattoo artist, news of the casting stunt triggered an internal backlash at the studio and on the film. And so the filmmakers have withdrawn the offer.
Warners, along with partner Legendary Pictures and the movie's director Phillips, announced the development Thursday afternoon.
"I thought Mel would have been great in the movie and I had the full backing of Jeff Robinov and his team," said Phillips in a statement. "But I realize filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew."
A representative for Gibson was not immediately available for comment.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Columbia Pictures has optioned the rights to "Emergency!: This Book Will Save Your Life," a non-fiction book from best-selling author Neil Strauss.
Robert Downey Jr. will serve as one of the producers on the film and possibly star.
Strauss is best known for writing the books "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale" with Jenna Jameson, and "The Dirt" with Motley Crue.
Strauss wrote "Emergency!" with current disasters -- tsunamis, hurricanes, terrorist attacks, swine flu epidemics -- as the backdrop.
He spent three years trekking through the U.S. and acquiring the tools to survive a major catastrophe.
According to the studio, "Emergency!" traces one man's journey as "he sets out to move his life offshore, and in the process, he learns to survive in the wild, and remake himself as a gun-toting, lock-picking, plane-flying, government-defying survivor.
"Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps" scribe Allan Loeb is set to write the script.
RDJ is going to be super busy the next two years. Has anyone read the book? I'm completely unfamiliar with it.

Glenn Beck thinks the theory of evolution is a bunch of monkey business.
The wildly popular Fox News host Wednesday called the idea that humans evolved from primates ridiculous.
While the deeply religious Beck denouncing evolution isn't a shock, his defense was a head-scratcher: "I haven't seen a half-monkey, half-person yet. Did evolution just stop?
The most recent polls on the debate show Beck is certainly not alone in his dismissal of evolution. More than 40% told a 2006 Pew survey that humans have only existed in our present form and of the 51% who did accept evolution, 21% said it was guided by a "supreme being."

NEW YORK (CBS) The "Jersey Shore" season finale airs tonight, but you won't have to wait long to get some more GTL.
"All the relationships start taking a turn, some for the good, some for the bad. There's plenty of drama," Salsano told The Hollywood Reporter. "There are some new hook-ups both in the house and outside. The kids legitimately grow up and come into their own in front of your eyes. They're still the same cast, but I think how they deal with situations is completely different."
She also confirms that Angelina will not be returning, but a new "Shore"-mate will be joining the cast - Nicole "Snooki" Pollizzi's friend Deena.
"She's a good time," Salsano says of the new cast member. "It was hard for her to come in because there was a pre-existing relationship between everyone. There was literally no shortage of drama."

Chris recently opened up to Details about getting the urge to do something spontaneous. “Sometimes I think I need to get crazy. Go to Vegas. Do some drugs. Get some hookers. Gamble it all away,” he shared. “And it never happens. I usually just end up at home on my couch - reading.” (I WISH HE'D AT LEAST GO TO AMSTERDAM FOR THE HOOKERS. Juan Williams Fired by NPR For No Particular Reason
Oct 21 2010, 12:23 AM ET
National Public Radio has fired the political analyst Juan Williams for comments he made about Muslims on Bill O'Reilly's Fox show. These are two of the controversial comments in question, according to The New York Times:
'I mean, look, Bill, I'm not a bigot. You know the kind of books I've written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous."
And this, in reference to Faisal Shahzad, the Pakistani immigrant who attempted to blow up Times Square with a car bomb:
"He said the war with Muslims, America's war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don't think there's any way to get away from these facts."
The first quotation reflects the views, I'm guessing, of the vast majority of people who fly in this country (and in Europe and Asia and other parts of the world, as well). With some regularity, Muslim men associated with radical Islamist organizations have been trying to kill American civilians, here and abroad. A group of 19 Muslim men succeeded beyond their wildest dreams in their mission nine years ago. The majority of Muslims abhor terrorism, and Muslims are the disproportionate victims of Muslim terror, but the essential truth remains that most of the world's spectacular terrorism today -- thwarted and achieved -- is committed by Muslims. Juan Williams misunderstands one crucial fact: Muslim terrorists who are attempting to commit acts of terror seldom if ever dress in "Muslim garb"; they dress, for obvious tactical reasons, in a manner meant to help them blend in with surroundings. So Williams is wrong, I think, to be particularly suspicious of traditionally-dressed Muslims. But is he wrong to worry about Islamist terrorism? Of course not.

Yes, THAT ex-wife. Janine Lindemulder, who you may remember as the Enema of the State model for Blink-182′s album art.
According to video obtained by TMZ, earlier today she beat a photog with a cup of coffee after she became furious when he began taking pictures as she was getting in an elevator at the Orange County courthouse for a child custody hearing. Something tells me she will probably lose the case.
After dousing him with coffee, he’s sent flying against a wall–and later, rushed to the emergency room after complaining of “spine” pain from the assault. He’s seen slouched over and struggling to breathe.
