Wendy Williams had the Fry Guy on her show on Tuesday and the first 20 seconds of his segment looked delicious...full of golden-brown, deep-fried unidentifiable food objects.
But we soon lost our appetites when Wendy revealed that 74 percent of voters on her website wanted the Fry Guy to fry one of her wigs (over a pair of pumps and a tiny fan). And so he did, while Wendy watched and kept munching on something.Source

Tila Tequila has built a career on her sex appeal, but the Shot At Love star recently took an ex-boyfriend to court in an attempt to stop him from releasing a sex tape and RadarOnline.com has the documents.
Tila names musician Francis Ten as her former boyfriend and sex tape co-star in her October 6 declaration, citing that it was filmed while the two were on vacation in St. Barts.
“Ten brought a digital video camera with us on the trip…some of what was filmed included the two of us engaged in intimate sexual relations,” Tila stated.
“At the time the video was created, I told Ten that the sexual content needed to be deleted.”
Along with an attempted injunction to stop the release of the sex tape, Tila also filed for a restraining order against Francis, both of which were denied by the judge.

Cosgrove's fiancée) and Clarissa Explains It All's Marshall Darling (Joe O'Connor, as Trudy's father) in the same Mad Men episode this past Sunday, it got us thinking about all of the former Nickelodeon, UPN and WB stars of the '90s and early 2000s that the show has redeemed over the years. There's Colin Hanks (of Roswell); Nora Zehetner and Sarah Drew (of Everwood); Matt Long (of Jack & Bobby); Danny Strong (of Buffy); and, of course, Vincent Kartheiser (of Angel), among others. Clearly, the show has an affinity for casting this niche of actors in weighty roles, so who should be next? These are our suggestions:
A blockbuster lawsuit was just filed against the company that manages Roger Federer and Tiger Woods, alleging the owner of the company bet millions of dollars on sporting events, used inside information to wager on a Federer match and bet against his own client, Tiger Woods.
IMG -- one of the biggest sports management companies in the world -- is being sued by a printing company, which allegedly served as a gambling go-between and even provided escorts for the owner of IMG, Theodore Forstmann.
According to the suit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ, Agate Printing, Inc. claims it made millions of dollars in bets on Forstmann's behalf, and that Forstmann covered some of his losses on IMG accounts.
The suit claims Forstmann actually bet against some of his own clients -- in particular Tiger Woods. In one case Forstmann allegedly bet against Tiger when he was competing against Vijay Singh, a "so-called close personal friend" of Forstmann and client of IMG at the time.
The suit alleges Forstmann loathed Tiger, often referring to him and other African Americans as "schwartzas" -- and allegedly making other derogatory comments about "blacks, Jewish people, and other minorities." The suit alleges Forstmann also criticized Woods' lifestyle decisions.
And the suit goes on, alleging tennis star Roger Federer gave Forstmann inside information about a tennis match in which Federer competed. The suit claims in one case Forstmann raised his bet from $10,000 to $40,000 after receiving the inside info from Federer. We're told the match in question was the 2006 French Open final. Ironically, Federer lost to Rafael Nadal.
The reason Agate filed suit -- because Forstmann allegedly breached an agreement to give his company printing business. Agate also claims Forstmann left his company holding the bag on tax liabilities for the gambling losses.
Forstmann's rep, Michael Sitrick, tells TMZ, "The allegations in James Agate's complaint are beyond false, they are preposterous." Sitrick also says in an April, 2009 letter, Agate admitted concocting lies and spreading false information about Forstmann.
Sitrick says Agate filed a similar lawsuit against Forstmann in 2008 which was dismissed. And Sitrick says, "Unfortunately, people like Agate look at people like Forstmann as the lottery."
No immediate comment from Federer's rep.

Fashion designer, mini-mogul . . . bride-to-be?
A source tells the new Us Weekly (out now) that Ashley Olsen's boyfriend of two years, Justin Bartha, is looking at engagement rings and planning to propose.
The actor — best known for 2009’s The Hangover — "is in love and is just waiting for the right time," says the insider.
And no wonder he’s cautious: The source says Bartha, 32, has proposed to Olsen, 24, in the past — "and she said no!"
Still, friends say the former child star (and twin to Mary-Kate) and the actor are a perfect match because they are so alike.
"Ashley has always been the more centered of the twins, and Justin is centered, too," says a second insider. "They mix well with each other's friends and calm each other."
And neither one’s hectic schedule bothers the other: "Justin’s a hard worker and sees acting as a business," continues the pal. "Ashley runs successful brands and has a strong work ethic."
They also seem to be on the same page as far as a wedding is concerned.
Says the first source, "They both want a low-key affair."

"American Idol" Season 9 Winner Lee DeWyze debuted his brand new single, "Sweet Serendipity" on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning, and judging from the fact that no one seems to have posted it here in the 11 or so hours since it debuted, DeWyze sure has got a great career ahead of him. So why didn't he make the call? Slash said, "I wanted to put the record out in this millennium."

AVN.com has learned from sources that Patient Zero is a male performer who performed in both straight and gay adult videos. Additionally, we received word that an undetermined number of first and second generation adult performers who may have been exposed have been quarantined at this time.
All the studios that have stopped production are considered to be more reputable, and some always use condoms. But "adult entertainer" Miko Lee captured the mood in the San Fernando Valley on her Twitter feed: "For the people who did the LOW end Porno shoots..... I'd be worried. PALE AND GAUNT. THE NEW TALL, DARK, AND HANDSOME.
I checked with Dreamworks while I was on the set of Fright Night. That whole thing about him dropping out from "I am Number Four" due to them not allowing him to have a funny nose and ears is crap. He couldn't do the film due to the crazy A-Team press tour they were having him go on. That's straight from Disney/Dreamworks mouth. He basically went around the world in less than 80 days. It would have been impossible.
According to many a site, the rumor is that Sharlto is going to be playing another alien. This time a sort of a time lord race thing.I was hoping he'd do a or another try at a serious role. But Men In Black... Really?
Here's the story:
It's going to be interesting to see if the audience is still hungry for more "Men In Black" when Sony releases "Men In Black 3" on May 25, 2012 in 3D.
Production is getting closer to starting and casting is underway. Previously, we've heard that Josh Brolin will be starring in the film as the 1960s version of agent Kay, while Tommy Lee Jones returns as the original agent Kay. Wait… how can there be two agent Kays in the film? Well, it's a time travel movie, thanks to the machinations of the main bad guy in the film, Yaz, who will be played by "Flight Of The Conchords" star Jemaine Clement. Yaz is pretty much Lobo, the DC Comics character, a big wild vile biker from outer space with absolutely no moral or ethical compass.
Of course, Will Smith is back as agent Jay, and he's the one who has to find a way to get back in time after Yaz, who was arrested by Kay all those years ago, escapes from a secret federal prison on the moon and finds a way to turn back the clock. The way Jay learns that the timeline has changed is one of the best jokes in the script (and an opportunity for a great cameo by someone), and when he does make it to the '60s, what he finds is a whole new world.
For example, Agent Ex is the man in charge in the '60s, and that appears to be the role that Alec Baldwin is negotiating to play. Sharlto Copely is also said to be negotiating to be in the film, and his role would be the Lama, the leader of the Archanans, aliens who have a particular relationship with time. Nicole Sherzinger is said to be playing Devil Girl, the super-luscious bad-ass girlfriend of Yaz, which makes me wonder who Gemma Arterton is supposed to be playing if she signs on as well. There's no secretary for the MIB in the script, but that doesn't mean anything. I don't have the latest drafts, and I can't say for sure that they haven't made some major changes. Based on the language in the Cog report over at Pajiba, it sounds like they got hold of casting breakdowns for these films, and that's where they got their descriptions of who's playing what.

Bethenny Frankel is known for her outspoken ways, but her estranged mother Bernadette Birk is upset over Bethenny's continued portrayal of their family and their past.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Birk claims Bethenny's explanation of her upbringing is a lie.
"She is slamming me... and I'm sick!" Birk told RadarOnline.com.
In a magazine interview, Frankel said that Birk was "never a mother" to her and she "never had a true childhood" but rather "a lot of destruction: alcohol abuse, eating disorders and violent fights."
On both The Real Housewives of New York and Bethenny Getting Married? the driven brunette beauty often discusses her estrangement with both her parents and has embraced her husband Jason Hoppy's parents as the family she never had.
"She did not come from a broken home and her father did not leave her at 4 years old," Birk said when asked about the sad childhood picture Frankel paints. "I left her father when she was 2 years old and he did not support us with one penny, no alimony."

There comes a time in your life where times change, seasons change and it’s time for something new. On reality television shows, when it gets so popular and hot the desire and the need to be on top is always there. The first season of Real Housewives was very organic. What you see is what you got and that’s exactly how it happened. The second season we had the ratings, so you wanted to keep them there so the producers want to stir the pot a bit. Our ratings—we were killing everybody so it’s like we gotta stay on top so they had an idea of where they want their characters to go and they forget that we’re not characters in a show we’re real people living our lives. And sometimes people want to turn you into a character of your former self and I’m just not willing to perform or create something that isn’t there.
They have an idea of who they want you to be and you can only take that for so long and that’s why I said it’s time to go because I’m not willing to compromise my integrity. It’s like all Black people don’t act this way and it’s unfortunate that we feed into those stereotypes sometimes. I understand you don’t want to watch paint dry. I get it. But it’s a fine line between performing and acting a fool. I had very real moments, I got upset on the reunion show but at the end of the day there’s a time and a place for everything. I have other aspects of my life that are interesting as you can guess but this is reality you’re not gonna tell me what I should focus on. So it comes a point where the pressure from the producers⎯they want to keep those ratings high so they’re like this is what’s going on this season and I’m like wait a minute, this is supposed to be reality television and some things I’m not willing to compromise. You have to have integrity and stand up for what you believe in and I refuse to create things that are not there for the sake of their ratings because I still have to live my life when the show is over.

PEOPLE has your first look at scenes from 9-year-old Willow Smith's music video for her infectious first single, "Whip My Hair." The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith filmed the video in Sylmar, Calif., in September with director Ray Kay – who has also helmed clips for Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Beyoncé.

Explaining the photos, Overstreet said, "She tried to get me to dance and I'm not a really good dancer, so I was hesitant on that one ... You know, there are tons of girls that I'm friends with, and I'm sure if I get snapped with them people are going to think we are dating."
But the actor insists he's not a player. "I'm just friends with a lot of different people," he says. "[Rumer] is a nice girl."

Cosmopolitan: Is it hard for guys to get over breakups?
Drake: Definitely. Even after a long time, it’s painful to see an ex with somebody else. As happy as you are that she’s happy, there’s a little tingle underneath your heart. It’s not a sting. But it hurts a bit, and you wish it wasn’t there.
C: Is sex on a first date a deal breaker?
D: No, I don’t get why women think that. You’re telling yourself that all you have to offer is your body and the physical act. There’s more to you than that. If I like somebody, there’s so many great things to look forward to, even if we do it on the first night.
C: If a woman is into a guy, how should she get his attention?
D: I’m shy, so I like when she comes up and says “Hey, how are you doing?” That lets me know she wants to talk. The scariest thing is when you look at a woman and think of a million reasons why she wouldn’t want to.
C: What’s the best compliment a woman can give a guy?
D: I never mind hearing “You look nice tonight.” Guys put in a lot of silent effort. When I’m going on a date, I’m getting a haircut, I’ve got a new outfit, and I’m wearing cologne. So it’s nice when it’s noticed.
C: What’s the secret to a happy relationship?
D: Acceptance. You’ve got to be comfortable enough to be completely naked with lights on and the curtains open.

For a while, it was easy to chalk up Miley's sexy wardrobe choices as a young girl coming of age. And not just any girl, but one that was pigeonholed into the squeaky-clean image of "Hannah Montana."
It's understandable that the 17-year-old Cyrus would want to try new things and express herself.
For the Disney star, that seems to mean sporting see-through tops while running errands around town, wearing lingerie onstage and – as seen when she stepped out Tuesday in Los Angeles – going braless. And, man, it must've been a cold day in California.

Kanye West has been embarrassingly caught with his pants down in a nude photo scandal, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The self-snapped pictures of the music icon, showing his private parts, were reportedly sent to a number of women, and are now for sale and being shopped to various media outlets.
RadarOnline.com has seen the two images - both of which leave little to the imagination.
One image shows a nude Kanye from the chest up, wearing sunglasses and a gold chain, while the second photo shows the singer's genitals provocatively exposed from his boxer briefs.
"These pics have been floating around since he hit so many girls up on MySpace," according to the source of the images.
"He probably sent them to many, many women."
In a recent magazine interview, Kanye admitted he had contemplated posing naked as part of his desire to "break every rule of hip-hop".
"It's like Björk," he said, "if she wanted to pose naked, you'd be like, 'Oh, that's Björk.'
"But if I wanted to pose naked, people would draw all type of things into it.
"I definitely feel like, in the next however many years, if I work out for two months, that I'll pose naked."

Aguilera cited "irreconcilable differences" in her divorce petition obtained by TMZ, which was filed today. It's an interesting twist, since sources tell us Christina is the one who cheated.
According to the divorce docs, there is a prenup. The divorce petition asks that "Earnings and accumulations of [Aguilera] before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation" be considered separate property.
Aguilera, who is represented by disso-queen Laura Wasser, lists the date of separation as September 11, 2010.
The petition also seeks to terminate Bratman's ability to get spousal support.
Aguilera is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their child, Max, who is 2.
Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ the marriage fell apart after Aguilera allegedly cheated on Bratman. Aguilera's side refused comment.
The thing that surprised me when I picked through my DVD collection and the archives of my brain is that I really had a hard time coming up with movies based around or take place during Halloween. DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!!! I'd hit it like there's no tommorow!
That seems to be how the "30 Rock" cast is feeling about their first live show[s] (one for each coast), airing TONIGHT on NBC at 8:30 p.m. ET. "So much can go wrong," says show creator Tina Fey.
Like what exactly? Well, for one, Tracy Morgan, who stars as the show's out-of-control Tracy Jordan. "The only fear factor is Tracy," star Alec Baldwin.
But Morgan isn't worried. "Seven years of SNL have prepared me for this," he told reporters. "I read the script and I know my lines ... I'm going to disappoint a lot of people."
Perhaps, in what would be a shock to fans, Morgan will be the only one who doesn't mess up his lines. Jack McBrayer (Kenneth Parcell), says that he's worried about cursing on live TV, while Jane Krakowski (Jenna Maroney) is okay with screwing up a line or two -- as long as someone else does it first. "I just don't want to be the first one to make a mistake," she said.
Details of the live episode's plot is being kept under wraps, but rumor has it that it will be about Liz Lemon's 40th birthday and that her former flames, including Carol (Matt Damon) and Dr. Drew Baird (Mad Men's Jon Hamm), will be making appearances.
OMG, I'M SO EXCITEDDDDDD!!!! :D

A week after the MPAA branded its domestic drama Blue Valentine with an NC-17 rating, the Weinstein Company has decided to appeal the decision and hope for an R without any trims to the film. “We respect the work of the MPAA,” Harvey Weinstein says in a statement today, “and we hope, after having a chance to sit down with them, they will see that our appeal is reasonable, and the film, which is an honest and personal portrait of a relationship, would be significantly harmed by such a rating.” Weinstein is right: The NC-17 would limit the film’s audience and its Oscar chances. The question is whether the notoriously stubborn MPAA will budge. Blue Valentine, starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams, has its U.K. premiere tomorrow night at the London Film Festival and hits U.S. theaters on Dec. 31.

News flash! Burlington homegal Amy Poehler of “Parks and Recreation” fame is related to Benjamin Franklin, horrormeister former V.P. Dick Cheney (meh) and U.S. Sen. Scott Brown. Well, that would make for an interesting Thanksgiving dinner!
That’s according to the New England Historic Genealogical Society, which has been mapping the family trees of well-known New Englanders.
Society genealogist Chris Child said Amy’s also a distant relative of “Moby Dick” author Herman Melville and the Folger and Starbucks families of coffee fame. (Shouldn’t she get free lattes?)
The former “Saturday Night Live” funnygal’s family tree includes Ben Franklin’s first cousin Jethro Folger, making Amy a first cousin to the Founding Father — 10 times removed.
She is a 10th cousin to Maine best-selling writer — and fellow uber Red Sox [team stats] fan — Stephen King. They share a common ancestor, Edward Starbuck of Nantucket, who died in 1690. Starbuck also connects Amy to U.S. Sen. Scott Brown, making them 11th cousins.
As for Cheney, he and Poehler have a common ancestor, Richard Kimball, who died in Ipswich in 1675.
“It’s always remarkable to me that as soon as you find one ancestor from early colonial New England, you start finding all sorts of fascinating connections,’’ said Child.

I’m hearing ex-Prison Break con Wentworth Miller has expressed interest in taking over the title role in Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
As I reported last week, the Starz series — which briefly considered “closing up shop” after leading man Andy Whitfield dropped out to resume treatment for his Non-Hodgkin lymphoma — is moving forward with the recast option.
But is Miller right for the part? Since his Fox series wrapped, he’s been largely out of the limelight. And when he has been spotted, he hasn’t quite been the picture of buffness that the sand-and-sandals epic demands. Of course, that’s nothing a month or two with a personal trainer couldn’t fix. Your thoughts?
Personally, while I’m kinda psyched that the actor — who’ll always be Popular cheerleader Adam to some of us — is finally ready to get back in the game, he doesn’t seem quite right for Sparty. My first pick remains True Blood‘s ill-fated Cooter, Grant Bowler.
Anyway, I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Your thoughts?ausiello

Factor reject Nicolo Festa has admitted that he refused to perform Britney Spears’ Womanizer on Saturday night’s live show.
The 21 year old student from Treviso, Italy became the show’s first failure of 2010 at the weekend, as he was voted off and sent home just before boyband FYD.
He previously admitted that bad song choice probably contributed to his elimination (Nicolo performed Lady Gaga’s Just Dance), however he now insists that the track he had been originally assigned, was much worse.
Festa told Radio One:
“The first suggestion was [Britney Spears's] ‘Womanizer’ and I said, ‘no chance on this Earth’. We agreed to do something that people would know.” WHAT?
After listening back to his performance from Saturday night, Nicolo has urged fans NOT to download the track from iTunes.
“It was terrible, I just listened to the track on iTunes and I feel really ashamed,” he said. “It was the wrong song. It’s not my style.
“I would prefer it if people didn’t buy that track… I am mortified by that. I mean, I wouldn’t buy it.”
WHEN DANNII MINOGUE TELLS YOU TO SING BRITNEY SPEARS YOU WILL FUCKING SING BRITNEY SPEARS. BYE BITCH.
Look closely at the poster for the Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway Viagra-and-Parkinson's comedy Love and Other Drugs. Apparently, director Edward Zwick was actually naked and in the shot with his stars, but got Photoshopped out. At least that's what we heard at Zwick and Gyllenhaal’s recent New Yorker Festival Q&A with Anthony Lane. According to Zwick, Gyllenhaal and Hathaway had been complaining about how often he'd forced them to do nude scenes. "I said, 'What do you want me to do?'" said Zwick. "And they said, 'You take your clothes off.' And I said, 'Fine!'" Said Gyllenhaal: “It’s weird how eager you were, too. He was like, ‘That’s it? No problem!’ And then it was off. It terrified me! Like, all of a sudden, this really intimate relationship became way, way weird.” Then, says Zwick, all three of them snapped a naked photo together. "The art director looked at it and said, 'Get rid of the director,' and he stripped me out and put Annie’s head on Jake’s shoulder, and that’s the movie poster."

And if that's not enough to raise eyebrows, Momsen partook in some X-rated conversation inside the mag.
In fact, the "Gossip Girl" vixen admits to viewing pornography, specifically sex tapes.
"If it's a good sex tape, I'll watch it," Momsen says. "I like some adult stars. I have a couple favorites. But I will say this: That Tommy Lee/Pamela Anderson video wasn't very good. I wouldn't f--k Tommy Lee."
It seems the actress formerly known for her adorable, little-girl looks in "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" would much rather just pleasure herself.
"Guys can masturbate. So why can't girls?" she asks. "Why is that such a hidden topic from the world?"
The Pretty Reckless singer, who posed with a chainsaw for the "Resident Evil"-inspired photoshoot, also revealed to the mag that one of her songs ended up in the unlikeliest of hands.
"I wrote a pop song [called ‘Blackout' when I was 8] and recorded it with a producer as a demo. Heidi Montag from ‘The Hills' just recently sang it and put it out as her single," she dished.
"I'm like, OK, dude, you're singing an 8-year-old's words, but that's cool," Momsen recalls. "It's so funny because I didn't shop it or anything and I get this call going, ‘Did you write a song for Heidi Montag?' And I'm like, ‘What?!'"
The song alludes to some very adult themes – sample lyrics include "It's gettin' physical boy/And if you want to go somewhere no one can find us/We can get out of here" – which should come as no surprise after everything else the starlet's revealed.
I love Anna. Her movie with JGL needs to come out like right now..
Killing three birds with one stone, South Park took on Jersey Shore, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Osama bin Laden this week. When animated versions of Teresa from Housewives and Snooki from Shore invaded South Park, Colorado, the citizenry became enraged. It’s one thing for Cartman and his buddies to be crude and vulgar; it’s another thing when the crudity and vulgarity (“muff cabbage!’) emanates from reality-show cretins.
BRITNEY Spears has been “manipulated” by her dad Jamie and boyfriend Jason Trawick, it has been claimed.
According to In Touch Weekly magazine, the two men have been working behind Britney’s back to revamp her image.
Sources say Jamie and Jason even hatched a secret plan that included the careful orchestration of Spears’ August trip with Trawick to Hawaii. But it allegedly backfired when the singer discovered the pair had been letting the paparazzi know of her whereabouts.
“Britney flipped out when she found out Jamie and Jason had tipped off photographers during the vacation,” said one insider.
“Those pictures showed the world exactly what Jamie wanted them to — that she was back on her feet and looking better than ever.
“But it was the final straw for Britney when she discovered their plot.
“She’s barely speaking to her dad and her relationship with Jason is on the rocks.”
Recent reports claimed Britney is planning to reboot her movie career.
Oh please. We all know Britney's father has nothing to do with her career. If they said Adam (Britney's self-proclaimed manager) I'd be a bit more realistic.

Simon Cowell seems to have the "sex factor" after topping a poll asking British women which celebrity they would most like to see featured in a romantic novel.
The mega-rich X Factor supremo secured 17% of the vote among swooning females who named him as their ultimate hero in a Mills And Boon book.
Simon edged ahead of actors Johnny Depp and Jake Gyllenhaal, who each secured 12%, while Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson came fourth with 10%.
Footballer Wayne Rooney and actor Jude Law proved least popular with the ladies as their ideal romantic lead, scoring just 1% and 3% respectively.

Two men dressed as pirates have been apprehended by Johnny Depp's security guards after they attempted to sneak into the actor's movie trailer.
The Hollywood star is currently in London filming scenes for his new swashbuckling blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Two fans attempted to get close to Depp on set by donning costumes but bodyguards spotted the men and wrestled them to the ground before they reached the actor, reports Britain's The Sun.
A source tells the publication, "The pair were rugby tackled by Johnny's personal bodyguards outside his trailer. There was no way they were getting past them. Because they were dressed in costume, they thought no one would bat an eyelid but security were too good."

Jersey Shore's Snooki Is Getting a Spinoff!
And then there was one.
Despite talk of a Jersey Shore spinoff focusing on Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, 22, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, 25, a source tells the new Us Weekly (on newsstands now) that MTV prefers just the Princess of Poughkeepsie.
“Execs think a show focusing on Snooki will be a bigger hit, so they pushed JWoww out," the insider tells Us.
She's writing a book - tentatively titled A Shore Thing - hitting shelves in January. She promises that it "will have you falling in love at the shore."
The self-described "guidette" also is working on hair products. She currently commands $20,000 to walk an event’s red carpet, Us Weekly recently reported.
An interview with 'Mad Men' creator Matthew Weiner doesn't always follow the classic question-and-answer format.
Invariably, it ends up being more of a conversation, with the interviewer bringing up points about individual episodes or storylines and letting the Emmy-winning producer and writer just go through all of his thoughts about the characters he's created. He talks about them like they're members of his own family, and in a way, they are, as he's likely lived with Don Draper and company in his head almost as long as he's lived with his wife and kids.
I had been trying to pin down an interview with Weiner since before the fourth season of the show began, and we finally were able to sit down and discuss the season earlier this week. What follows is a long, but pretty extensive, overview of season four, and while Weiner doesn't give any details about this Sunday's season finale, he does hope that "people will see the finale and understand the journey that they went on for the season."

For the first time since July 12, 2007, Stephenie Meyer is absent from the top 50 on USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list.
One or more of Meyer's four Twilight novels, a blend of vampires and teen romance, has been in the top 50 for 170 consecutive weeks — until now. Breaking Dawn falls to No. 54, followed by Twilight (No. 172), New Moon (No. 238) and Eclipse (No. 198). But don't count out Meyer: The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide will be released in April. boooooo. And her publicist, Elizabeth Eulberg, says, "We've always seen a spike in sales with each movie and DVD release." booooo again. The DVD of Eclipse will be released in December. Two movies based on Breaking Dawn are scheduled to hit theaters in 2011 and 2012.

By now you should all be somewhat familiar with Mark Millar. He’s the author behind the graphic novel Kick Ass which I’m sure you remember from earlier this year, as well as the recently optioned Nemesis about an extra evil super villain. Now, there’s interest in another one of Millar’s properties, Superior, coming from two mysterious parties that Millar himself is keeping veiled in shadow until deals go through. However, in a recent blog post he does give a few hints about who each is:
One of them I absolutely love and this is definitely in his comfort zone. The other was a curve-ball, a producer who has worked on lots of big family movies with the director he's proposing, but strangely has never done a superhero flick before. This is what happened with Timur on Wanted, Matthew on Kick-Ass and most recently Tony Scott when he bought Nemesis to direct. Some guys are just perfectly suited for the superhero genre, but somehow never quite connected when something was available.
Superior is Millar’s most recent series, only just getting started this month, and it’s a bit of a take on the Superman archetype. The real story here is that while there are two competing parties chasing after the rights to Superior, both of them have the same actor in mind to play the lead role: Jon Hamm. Hamm is going to be huge whether he gets this role or not. He's become an instant icon as the suave but broken Don Draper on Mad Men and has just delivered a stellar performance on the big screen for Ben Affleck’s The Town. His superhero qualities are innate, as the actor already is a bit too large and good looking for his own good. So of course he’d be perfect to play a Superman-type character.
This obviously is not confirmed casting, but Hamm is always a good sport and judging by his hilarious appearances on SNL and 30 Rock the 39-year-old actor is up for just about anything that scheduling will allow. Expect to hear more details about this adaptation very soon.

When Crystal Bowersox announced her engagement to fellow musician and longtime friend Brian Walker last month, she promised to be anything but the typical bridezilla — and from her unique earth-friendly dress to her diamond-free wedding ring, the season 9 American Idol runner-up seems to have stayed true to her word. The bride wore an organic, hemp and cotton wedding gown from Vermont designer Tara Lynn to exchange her vows on Sunday at the Chicago café where she first met Walker six years ago, saying ‘I do’ with a 1.1-carat princess cut ruby ring designed by Walker and crafted by Chicago’s Traci Coughlin and Steve Quick Jewelers. “There are no diamonds to be found as we don’t believe in the violence and injustice that occurs within the diamond trade industry,” Bowersox tells PEOPLE. “Both rings feature the masonry symbol, an infinity 8, and the Sanskrit symbol for the sound ‘om’ and a personal design that for us represents three: Brian, Crystal, and Tony.” As for her one of a kind wedding dress? “The gown is a simple princess line with an open back; a machine-knit hemp twine strap crisscrosses in back,” says designer, Tara Lynn. And new bride Bowersox couldn’t have been more pleased with the results. “I gave Tara Lynn the base ideas of what I wanted, and in three weeks, she created a beautiful gown made of hemp and cotton, with a handmade macramé and bead sunflower design on the front,” Crystal tells PEOPLE. “The train of the dress is a handmade design of hemp twine, sea shells, and beads, some of which came from pieces of sentimental jewelry.” Read more details on Crystal’s intimate Chicago wedding in the current issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. –Gillian Koenig; reporting by Marisa Laudadio

Christina Aguilera & Jordan Bratman! Courteney Cox & David Arquette! We thought they were happy and in love. Take a look back at the breakups that left us in shock this year:
CHRISTINA & JORDAN
Three years after Christina Aguilera bragged to Ellen DeGeneres that she and music exec Jordan Bratman enjoyed "naked Sundays" to keep their marriage hot, things had apparently cooled off, with a source telling PEOPLE, "Yes they are separated. Right now they're just trying to figure things out." The couple, who welcomed son Max in 2008, were often criticized for their social life outside parenthood, with Aguilera rebuffing skeptics saying, "If I want to go out and have a mommy-daddy night with my husband, I am more than allowed to do that."

“Glee” will not be giving Bruce Springsteen the tribute treatment anytime soon. Although Springsteen was rumored to be a candidate for the show's upcoming post-Super Bowl episode, co-creator Brad Falchuk tells PopWrap, “There's no Springsteen tribute" coming up.
Falchuk adds that he “would love to do one -- and direct it! 'Glee' is a very personal show to us creators so it would be hard for me not to get a little bit of Bruce in there at some point.” However, the show's production schedule makes it difficult to think that far ahead.
“It's almost impossible to produce the show because of the amount of work that goes into every episode, so we don't have a lot of time to think four, five episodes into the future,” he says.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift confirms to Zap2It that “there have been conversations” about using her songs on “Glee.”
“With all these new opportunities, it usually comes down to scheduling,” she says. “I'm a huge fan of the show, and I think it showcases music in a great way, so I would be really excited if anything were to happen there.”
Readers, are you disappointed Springsteen won't be featured on the show? Would you like to hear New Directions tackle a Taylor Swift song? And who do you hope will be featured in the post-Super Bowl episode?

Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, the woman credited with destroying Sandra Bullock's marriage, yesterday said she had "no regrets" about her affair with Jesse James - not even about capitalising on her homewrecker infamy.
The only thing the heavily-inked stripper would not do again, she said, was cover almost her entire body in tattoos. The Nazi ones in particular seem to have upset a few people.
The 32-year-old, in Sydney for the annual SexPo exhibition which kicks off tomorrow, conceded she "wasn't the one who broke a vow", saying James had lied to her about his marital status and that she would like to sit down with Blind Side star Bullock to discuss what happened.
McGee also admitted she had tried to shelter her two children, Avery, 6, and Elijah, 12, from the scandal she admitted to in March.
"I have been very careful not to have my kids photographed by the paparazzi and to keep them away from all of it, but my 12-year-old is old enough to understand," she said. "I would do it all over again if I had the chance."
McGee would also happily meet with Bullock if she got the chance.

Danielle Staub initially wasn't going wear a Halloween costume this year.
Then, an idea hit her: Why not dress as Teresa Giudice, her No. 1 enemy?
"I was just going to take a waxing strip and put it on my forehead, with a little doll hair attached to it and call it Cornelius," she told UsMagazine.com Thursday at the NYC launch of the Stan Lee Foundation. "Oh, is that catty of me to say?"
Though she told Us she is into "making fun of Teresa a little bit," she may not go through with it. "Why kick her while she's down?" she said.
Giudice's husband, Joe, was recently jailed for driving with a suspended license. The family's bankruptcy case -- they're $11 million in debt -- also is pending in U.S. District Court in Newark.

The majority of the drama on the first season of The Real Housewives of D.C was focused on the strange and confusing ways of Michaele Salahi and her husband Tareq (who is the unofficial sixth Housewife), leading up to the now infamous White House State Dinner last November. While the Salahis feel that last week’s finale left them “vindicated,” the rest of us were left scratching our heads. Are they for real? Thankfully, Andy Cohen is armed and ready…with a slew of tough questions (though he might want to consider packing something else after what went down during last month’s Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion). Some of the highlights include Andy to Cat: “Are you uncomfortable around black people?” Andy to Michaele and Tareq: “Did you get yourselves into the White House without an invitation?” Lynda to the room: “This is a goat rodeo!”
Although she considered herself the victim of malicious bullying by the other women, Michaele certainly isn’t holding back now. In Salahiland, being the subject of a national scandal is nowhere near as bad as being single. “At least I’m married,” she spews at Cat, who is going through a divorce from her photographer husband Charles. Ouch! I’m both happy and sad to see that the husbands/boyfriends were included in this taping. I find Jason, Rich, and Ebong (who manages to sneak in his own dig at the Salahis, making his Lynda proud!) to be nice, normal men who can defuse the situation when needed, but I’m truly sad that they’ve been forced to dive even further into this pool of crazy.
For some guys, meeting Taylor Swift is on their bucket list of life goals — yes, we're talking about you, "Buried Life" guys. But for Swift, she puts two music legends on her wish list of people to meet, and they're both guys any music lover would die to meet.
"There's so many people I look up to based on their longevity and based on the fact that they've maintained such a culturally relevant career and such a musically relevant career," she told MTV News when she sat down to talk about her new album, Speak Now, due October 25. "People that I look up to like that are Bruce Springsteen and Bono. And I know those are really tough meet-and-greets to get into. And I know that, but I really want to at least try. I would wait in line for that."
Not that Swift hasn't already been lucky enough to meet and work with everyone from John Mayer and Miley Cyrus to T-Pain and Stevie Nicks. But on Speak Now, it will be all about Swift and the people in her life who helped inspire the tracks, including this week's release, "Back to December."
"I've always sort of written songs about situations in life, things that needed to be said," she explained. "And I've always thought that, you know, I write songs about people who deserve to have songs written about them. And whatever they need to hear, whatever is the right thing to say to that person — ends up being said."
Good eating with Food Network star
Alton Brown is a man of imagination. He makes beef jerky in a contraption involving a chimenea and a Bundt pan. He dries a mess of greens in a zip-up pillow bag in the spin cycle of his clothes washer. He safely deep fries turkeys by first designing a "turkey derrick" made of a step ladder with ropes and pulleys.
In showcasing such innovations, the zany TV star wears more costumes — a sheik's robe, miner's garb, armor, a sunflower get-up, a Col. Sanders suit — than the "Saturday Night Live" cast.
The writer, director and mad-scientist host of the Food Network's award-winning "Good Eats" show will be in Austin this weekend for the Texas Book Festival to promote his new book, "Good Eats 2: The Middle Years" (Abrams, $37.50.) Bring a wheelbarrow. Just kidding. But "Good Eats 2," paralleling his popular TV show from episodes 81 through 164, is no lightweight book. At 3 pounds, 81/2 ounces, it is a half-ounce heavier than "Good Eats (1): The Early Years," which was published last year and became a New York Times best-seller.
Brown is a ham who thrives on "science and silliness." His nutty professor persona sucks you in and before you realize it, you have learned a scientific thing or two. His goal? To make food science fun and fascinating.
The "Good Eats 2" cookbook is similar, though it does not move, explode or fly. However, included with the book is a DVD of 15 short-subject films that are hardly static. And, goodness knows, Brown is not. From his book, his website and a 15-minute phone interview with him in New York City this month, we learned about his tattoos, his faith, his singeing off his eyebrows and why he thinks he deserves a Nobel Prize. Meet the candid cooking guy who is coming to Austin:
The personal stuff
Alton Brown, 48, married to DeAnna; daughter Zoey, 10
Lives near Atlanta
Fastest thing he owns: Cessna Turbo 206, which he will fly to Austin and elsewhere on tour.
Currently reading: About 15 books. Among them: "Storyteller: The Authorized Biography of Roald Dahl," "The Poisoner's Handbook," re-reading "The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break" (his favorite piece of fiction) and, at his daughter's insistence, Harry Potter books. "I am in 'Goblet of Fire' right now. Doing it strictly for her."
Tech toys: iPhone, iPod, iPad
Playing on his iPod: "Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison"
Favorite band: Diverse tastes including Led Zeppelin and the Iguanas out of New Orleans.
Two tattoos: Honey bee on his left shoulder because he calls his wife Bee and because it is the logo for his company. On right shoulder is a skull with crossed knife and fork, commemorating his "Feasting on Asphalt" motorcycle TV series. (At his wife's request, he is holding off other tattoos for now. "I am not one of those chefs who feels that I must festoon myself with ink.")

Looking forward to a film collaboration between Russell Brand and Katy Perry? It might require bad lighting and a hokey script.
"We'll do a sex tape! Give them what they want!" Brand, 35, joked Tuesday at an event promoting his new book, when asked if he and his pop-star fiancée, 25, might ever work on a movie together.
In other words, don't expect it to happen anytime soon. "She's very good at what she does, and I feel it's very distinct from what I do," Brand says.
He adds: "It takes up enough of my time to be in love with her. Negotiating in films is very, very hard. Imagine trying to direct someone you really love – it would be a [expletive] nightmare."
Speaking at a New York Times event about his autobiographical sequel, Booky Wook 2: This Time It's Personal, the comedian and actor talked poignantly at times about his love for the Californian pop singer.
"I've found someone who is singularly important to me, so it means compromise, growing up and all the things they tell you in school," he says. "Love between two people is the most spectacular yet ordinary thing in the world."
Of the couple's upcoming wedding, he promised there will be no crazy extravaganza. "We'll get married in front of our friends and family," he says, "and keep it sort of normal."
Fresh from the announcement of her divorce from Jordan Bratman, Christina Aguilera and Max were spotted at Mr Bones Pumpkin Patch on Thursday (October 14).
In search of the perfect pumpkin, the “Stronger” singer and her little man wandered the premises as the on-hand paparazzi snapped away.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Ms Aguilera recently filed divorce papers and according to ET, she lists “miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects” as separate property.
The paperwork also references their prenuptial agreement to claim “separate property assets and obligations of each party.”
The singer cited "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of their split and is also seeking joint custody of their son, Max.

You must have the record in testicle injuries. Have you started to build up a resistance, like calluses of the balls?
Knoxville: It’s just like a dog’s chew-toy down there. I broke my penis about three years ago trying to backflip a motorcycle. So that didn’t help its appearance—although it’s pretty cute. I still have to use a catheter twice a day and it’s been three years now.
You can’t pee without a catheter?
Knoxville: No, I can piss without it. I just have to keep the scar tissue from constricting down there. It looks like a sock that’s lost its elasticity. You know the kind that droop around your ankles? That’s what my penis looks like.
Margera: I think the only one who came out ahead in this movie is Chris (Pontius). He did a skit called “The Helicockter” where he tied a string to his penis and the other end was attached to a remote-control helicopter. It ripped off so hard, he said he gained a few inches.
James Cameron to direct Jolie in Cleopatra?
EXCLUSIVE... UPDATED: File this one under tantalizingly possible. James Cameron and Sony Pictures Entertainment are exploring the very real possibility that he will direct Angelina Jolie in a 3D version of Cleopatra, an SPE adaptation of the Stacy Schiff book Cleopatra: A Life. Jolie is attached and anxious to make the movie. Scott Rudin, who acquired the book, is producer. The talks are serious but by no means conclusive yet. Meanwhile, Deadline's Nikki Finke reports that Sony Pictures Entertainment Co-Chair Amy Pascal decided to fast-track its PG-13 and 3D Cleopatra project after screenwriter Bran Helgeland wrote what was is being described as a "brilliant script deserving of epic treatment" all about "what the Romans took from Egypt".

Right now it looks like Colin Firth is far ahead in the Academy Award race for lead actor.
All Oscarologists know that voters are suckers for actors who portray real-life characters (Forest Whittaker in "Last King of Scotland," Philip Seymour Hoffman in "Capote"), especially ones with handicaps (Jamie Foxx in "Ray," Geoffrey Rush in "Shine"). In "The King's Speech," Firth portrays Britain's monarch George VI struggling to overcome a stammer while rallying his countrymen to fight World War II.
