Roberto Cavalli’s 40th Anniversary Party – Aishwarya Rai In Roberto Cavalli

Indian beauty Aishwarya Rai looked breath-taking at Roberto Cavalli’s 40th Anniversary Party in Paris last night.

She is the epitome of glamour and elegance.

The actress could have pulled off shorter Roberto Cavalli Resort 2009 dress as worn by Milla Jovovich and Paris Hilton, but instead she opted for the longer gown.

The silver fish-scale-like gown with fringed details along the bust was a perfect party look.

Wavy hair and an pop of colour courtesy of a blue satin clutch completed the look.

How Two Unrelated Men Played Identical Twins in 'The Social Network'

Actors Josh Pence and Armie Hammer

At a recent advance screening of "The Social Network," the heartiest audience laugh went not to Mark Zuckerberg's deadpan zingers (as witheringly delivered by Jesse Eisenberg), or to Sean Parker's flamboyant paranoia (Justin Timberlake). The ha-ha moment went to the identical Winklevoss twins, as the crew-rowing Adonises decide whether they should mincemeat the Facebook founder for stealing their idea.

"I'm six-foot-five, 220 pounds," one Winklevoss says, trying to convince his brother that victory would be swift. "And there are two of me."

Technically speaking, there are one and three-fourths of him. In one of the most seamless -- but little known -- aspects of the award-bait film, Cameron Winklevoss is played wholly by Armie Hammer, a 24-year-old great-grandson of oil tycoon Armand Hammer whose previous credits were a brief "Gossip Girl" stint and a made-for-TV Billy Graham. From the shoulders up, Tyler Winklevoss is also Hammer. But everything from the clavicles down is played by the actor Josh Pence, a Dartmouth grad and Ralph Lauren model whose face was digitally scrubbed after shooting.

Insert obligatory irony about getting your big break in a movie about Facebook, and then being the man without a face.

Sex, Salad Dressing, and Jake Gyllenhaal

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Jake Gyllenhaal sat down with David Denby at SVA Theater 1 last night to discuss his past films and his newest, "Love and Other Drugs." Denby said that the scenes between Gyllenhaal and his love interest, played by Anne Hathaway, were "electrifying." "You may do for straight sex what you did for gay sex," he said.

Gyllenhaal, twenty-nine, has played lovers to many. He took a moment to reflect on movie kissing and sex. "There is a weird sense of being watched," he said. "You can't help but watch yourself, which takes the sexiness out of it."

Ed Zwick, who directed the film, was also on hand, providing fortune-cookie insights into some of the darkest mysteries of Hollywood, a faraway land where "casting is love" and "sex is funny."

Asked what's in store for the future, Gyllenhaal admitted to having other interests. "Paul Newman is someone who I admire," he says. "I think I could make a really good salad dressing, too."

Whay-aye'll risk US bid for accent

Proud Geordie Cheryl Cole vows to keep her distinctive accent

PROUD Geordie Cheryl Cole last night vowed to KEEP her distinctive accent - even if it means not making it big in the US.

The star, expected to join Simon Cowell on the American X Factor next year, insisted: "I'd never change my accent. It's part of who I am."

And fans will see Cheryl's north-east passion shine through as she and her favourite Katie Waissel both end up in tears on tonight's show.

But loyalty to her roots may give Cheryl the same problem that nobbled fellow Geordies Ant and Dec, who were told by TV network bigwigs that their speech was "incomprehensible" when they tried to crack the US market in 2007 with game show Wanna Bet?

Cheryl, 27, admitted she fears flopping in the States but is determined not to have elocution lessons.

"It's really scary," she added. "Why would the Americans give a beep what I thought? They don't know me out there and I've got this weird accent."

A Not-So-Funny Thing About Network Sitcoms

Generally, I like to ease into a judgment, build an argument, but let’s just cut to the chase: Please stop watching Mike & Molly, $#*! My Dad Says, and Outsourced. Maybe it’s leftover fury at Fox for canceling their classy drama Lone Star after two episodes, but if we could just get the networks to throw a few real stinkers onto the pyre of this sad fall season, it would sure help my mood.

Robsten Reunited in LA

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

They’ve both been busy with their own business as of late, but Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were spotted together again in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The “New Moon” costars are back in town to gear up for the big “Breaking Dawn” shoot, and they enjoyed an evening together in West Hollywood.

According to a report, Rob and Kristen hit up the SoHo House for a dinner date, and they were plenty friendly to each other throughout the date.

An eyewitness spilled, "They were staring at each other throughout dinner and kept stealing quick kisses from one another during the night. Rob's arm was around her for most of dinner and they kept looking at each other and giggling throughout the evening. They are definitely into each other."

"They were by each other's sides the entire night. After dinner, Rob, Kristen and their friends moved to the patio where the group was smoking and the guys were drinking. Everyone was laughing and having a good time together, but you could tell Rob was doting on Kristen and making sure she was comfortable. They were next to each other everywhere the group went."

Todd Phillips On The Hangover 2

Todd Phillips is a busy man. After making comedy look pretty effortless with The Hangover, he's back hoping to repeat the trick with roadtripper Due Date, all while gearing up for the another dose of Rohypnol-fuelled mayhem with The Hangover 2.

The sequel, scheduled to start shooting later this month, will take the bruised and battered pals to climes near and far - and in both cases, no doubt, seriously hazardous. "It takes place in Bangkok and LA," Phillips told Empire. "There's gonna be some fucked-up surprises."

While the potential for fucked-up surprises in Patpong is virtually limitless, it's less of a shock to learn that Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms will be back at the heart of the carnage. "The three guys are back," Phillips said. "Mr. Chow's back too."

More carnage, more eccentric gangster weirdness from Ken Jeong and the promise of a tiger encounter in its natural habitat. Sounds good to our ears. Phillips, meanwhile, can spot a hacked-out sequel when he sees one and is promising that The Hangover 2 won't follow in less-than-illustrious footsteps. "I'm not delusional," he said. "I know what I'm up against. I saw Meet The Fockers. But we're aiming high. It's called The Hangover Part Two, you know."

(I'm going to watch the second one with low expectations. Hopefully, I will be pleasantly surprised)

Proof that ITV can do delicious drama: Downton Abbey

Episode 1

If one was of a cynical turn of mind, it would be easy to view ITV1’s lavish new period drama Downton Abbey as a spoiler. With the BBC’s revival of Upstairs Downstairs imminent, here was an identikit tale of posh folk being waited on hand and foot (and more) by servant types, the only difference being the substitution of a stonking great country pile for an elegant London townhouse.

‘Running Wilde’ Races for an Audience

Lunching in the dining room of a Gatsbyesque country club where his Fox comedy “Running Wilde” was filming on a rainy Friday, Will Arnett was making the best of his opulent settings. He took alternating bites of the chocolate chip pie and carrot cake on his plate, and he joked that he had been transported to work that morning by “a driver who takes me to a helicopter that flies me to Boston, and then I take a ferry from there.”

But Mr. Arnett, 40, a star and co-creator of “Running Wilde,” was also acutely aware of the illusion being perpetrated. Beyond the very real storm that was bogging down production, a figurative cloud loomed over “Running Wilde” even before it made its debut two weeks ago.

Before a reporter could fully inquire if he felt uncertain about the new series, Mr. Arnett knew what he was about to be asked. “To anticipate your question, yes,” he said. “But you know, it is one of those things that’s out of your control.”

So on a Thursday night he and a reporter got around using his preferred, and for now, only, method of transportation: mass transit.
“I guess I’ve been shopping for cars for three and a half years,” said Mr. Kartheiser, whose last car was damaged by street flooding. “I have some commitment issues. I’m the guy who stands in the soap aisle for like 40 minutes. Old Spice! Speed Stick! Old Spice!”

Pokemon Black & White: Not What You Thought!

I planned on having this post up last week. I figured that playing through ten hours or so of the new Pokémon game would be enough to give you some impressions of how the game turned out.

I was wrong on two counts.
First, ten hours of playtime wouldn't have been enough time for me to get a proper idea of just how different this Pokémon game is. It seems like the game unveils something totally new every half hour or less. I'm 35 hours in, and I'm still seeing new stuff all the time. Secondly, there is no way I could play this game for just ten hours. As of this second, I'm still having trouble putting it down
. Considering I skipped Pokémon HeartGold / SoulSilver, I figured that my Poké-mania had lapsed to the point where I wouldn't be so easily hooked on the latest Pokémon experience.

I would have been right, if it weren't for the fact that game is so awesome. It's like the best parts of every new Pokémon game, condensed into one little cartridge. Read on for my full impressions, but beware of some mild spoilers. My Japanese isn't good enough to properly understand the story, but I will be revealing some vague points about the game's narrative here and there, plus (ZOMG) pics of new Pokémon.

So without further ado: my Pokémons, let me show you them (until, that is, Nintendo tells me that I have to un-show you them).

ABC Greenlights A Female Spy Show

ABC seems to be sticking to its strategy of running original scripted series in the summer, putting on the fast track a new project from feature writer Greg Poirier (National Treasure: Book of Secrets) and Grant Scharbo and Gina Matthews, the producers behind ABC's recent summer series The Gates. Steve Shill, who just won an Emmy for his directing work on Dexter, is reportedly attached to direct the pilot for the untitled spy drama eyed for next summer. While it has received a script order, there is already talk about 3-5 back-up scripts. And feelers have been sent out to writers to join the potential series. The project, from ABC Studios and Scharbo and Matthews' Little Engine, is a female-centered spy show described as Taken meets The Bourne Identity. ABC had mixed results with its original scripted series this past summer: Canadian import Rookie Blue was the top-rated new scripted series of the summer and has been renewed for a second season, The Gates had middling ratings, while Scoundrels fizzled. That was better that the summer of 2009 when The Good Family, Defying Gravity and Surviving Suburbia all crashed and burnt. ABC already has 2 female-friendly spy dramas in the works for next season: remakes of Charlie's Angels and True Lies.

Blind Items

1. There was a party recently to celebrate the imminent arrival. So he took the opportunity to get dressed up, full lady costume, with his male friends, and sing and dance and flail about, and let the real him fly for a change, at least the afternoon, just like in the movies, while his expectant wife looked on… or away, I guess, depends how you see it. They say he feels free in character, this particular character. But it wasn’t an open invitation for everyone. These curious affairs never are. Even the wait staff was required to have come off the same space ship. Like mandatory. While he would have preferred tall, dark, and handsome too, in this respect, at least lately, she’s been able to overrule him. Impulse control, however, has never been his strength. He’s been on a very, very short leash.
Lainey Gossip
My Guess: John Travolta get it gurl

2. You’ll be delighted to hear that this celebrity is having just the easiest pregnancy ever! No morning sickness, no swollen feet, and lots of energy. It is truly amazing how much easier pregnancy is when you don’t actually have to carry the baby. Anyone happen to catch her in a bathing suit this summer? Of course not. In other news, she has just upgraded to the largest size belly bump for the last trimester. It is big, and she’s finding it uncomfortable to wear, so don’t expect to see her out and about more than once or twice in the next few weeks.
Blind Gossip
My Guess: it must be John Travolta and Kelly Preston week...

3. This A++ list movie actor from one of the top five grossing movies of all time was on the house phone in a hotel lobby when he was spotted by a fan. The fan waited patiently until the actor was done with a call and as the two crossed paths, the fan asked for a picture. The actor did not even acknowledge the presence of the fan and just walked right by.

Winston Churchill scores chart hit

Winston Churchill has become the first prime minister to enter the album chart with a record marking the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Reach For The Skies, by the RAF's Central Band, featuring Churchill's rousing World War II speeches set to music, was a new entry at four.

But the highest new entry was Mark Ronson's Record Collection at two, with The Script leading the rundown.

Tinie Tempah topped the singles chart with Written In The Stars.

It is the musician's second number one track following Pass Out, which achieved the feat in June.

Another UK urban star, Labrinth, entered the chart at three with Let The Sunshine.

Adele's song Make You Feel My Love soared to number four after being featured on The X Factor.

It was previously a hit in 2008 and achieved a highest chart position of 28.

Enrique Iglesias's collaboration with Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger manoevured itself to number eight with a climb of five places.

Back in the album chart, two other new entries inside the top 10 were KT Tunstall's Tiger Suit at five and Eric Clapton's latest collection at number seven.

Churchill's voice also featured on Iron Maiden's 1984 hit single Aces High, which is about an RAF pilot's exploits during the Battle of Britain.

Daniel Radcliffe 'Heartbroken' By Tyler Clementi, Seth Walsh, Other Suicides

'We have a responsibility to be better to each other ... [and] stand up for someone when they're bullied,' he says.

When Tyler Clementi leapt from a bridge  after his roommate posted a video of his tryst with another man online, and 13-year-old Seth Walsh hung himself after enduring relentless anti-gay taunts, their actions not only resulted in tragic deaths, they helped to serve as a wake-up call that LGBT discrimination, especially among young people, is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.

Clementi and Walsh are just two of many gay teens who have recently committed suicide, and the wave of deaths has prompted high-profile names to speak out against anti-gay harassment and sparked grassroots efforts to curb intolerance.

"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe is among many around the world saddened by the number of gay youth who felt the need to take their own lives rather than continue to deal with abuse from their peers. In an exclusive statement to MTV News, Radcliffe lamented the tragic loss of life and called for greater support for those who are struggling.

Twilight Knock-Off Optioned for Film...again.

Brace yourselves. Another Twilight-esque book series (albeit focusing on werewolves and without the sparkly vamps) has just been snatched up for adaptation for the big screen.

Per Variety Ralph Winter (X-Men) and Terry Botwick have acquired rights to Bree Despain's three-book young adult series through their 1019 Entertainment banner. Whitney Thomas, an exec at 1019, will also produce.

The Dark Divine, the first installment in the trilogy, was published last December by Egmont USA and centers on a 16-year-old pastor's daughter who falls in love with a boy who reveals he's a werewolf. The second title, The Lost Saint, is scheduled to be released on December 28 while the third (still untitled) is headed for publication in late 2011.

"The project has strong romantic appeal to the young Twilight audience," Winter and Botwick said. "Bree Despain is a talented voice with a loyal following."

Look for more as it comes.

Synopsis: Normal, boring heroine falls for dark, mysterious boy with a SECRET who treats her like shit occasionally. tbh........I can't even muster the energy to finish this sentence.

Note: Mods, I couldn't find any more recent articles on this, or any more recent book to movie deals, but this is still news for book fans, right?

Starz Replacing Andy Whitfield

That this was inevitable doesn’t make it any less sad: Starz has officially started looking for an actor to replace Andy Whitfield on Spartacus.

According to the just-released casting notice, producers are searching for a Caucasian male in his mid to late 30s to play the “smart, intense, passionate” title role. Interested parties must have an authentic British accent and be prepared to sign a three-year contract.

Whitfield was forced to bow out of the show’s second season after doctors advised him to resume “aggressive treatment” for Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Last week, exec producer Steven S. DeKnight told me that the production would either “close up shop or recast.” It looks like they’re moving forward with the latter.

My two cents: No one can replace Andy Whitfield. But the person who probably comes closest is Grant Bowler.

James McAvoy And Mila Kunis To Star In Supernatural Rom-Com Taravella

James McAvoy is currently in the "exploding" process. He’s been working for a while fairly under the radar, but since his work in Atonement we’ve barely been able to keep him out of the news. With three films already on the books, McAvoy has now added a fourth.

In the latest subscription issue of Production Weekly it was announced that James McAvoy and Mila Kunis will star in an upcoming film called Taravella. We know you love both actors, but don’t get too excited. Taravella is described as “a romantic comedy with a supernatural twist” which already makes it sound too much like the Sarah Michelle Gellar piece Simply Irresistable for me to take it seriously. Quite a leap from Atonement, X-Men: First Class, or his upcoming Lincoln film The Conspirator.

Kunis is set to play the titular role while McAvoy plays Linus, the man whose life she literally falls into out of the sky. Don’t get me wrong, I have certainly seen some good rom-coms with a supernatural twist (Love Potion #9 anyone?) but it’s already a genre to be skeptical about without the supernatural part , so I always remain wary. More on Taravella as details find their way onto the tubes.

Rye Rye - Sunshine (Feat. M.I.A.)

Nearly every blog comment or review said 19-year-old Rye Rye stole the show at HARD NYC back in July. It was a welcome return after Rye Rye was quiet for a bit, and her in-the-works debut album, Go! Pop! Bang! was delayed (for good reason — she had a baby girl in late 2009). So she’s back. New single “Sunshine” starts out with hand claps and schoolyard chants from M.I.A., while Rye Rye provides spitfire boasts. It’s not a dance track (though the remixes surely will be, and need to be, considering her moves), but it fits Rye Rye’s personality: giddy, confident, off-kilter. That last part especially applies to M.I.A.’s wordless bridge and the little pockets of squelchy noise that pop up between the line. Listen:

EXCLUSIVE: Tony Gilroy Directing 'Bourne Identity 4'

EXCLUSIVE: Universal Pictures is making a deal with Michael Clayton helmer Tony Gilroy to direct a fourth installment of The Bourne Identity. Gilroy was hired to write the script back in June. This signals that the picture -- tentatively titled The Bourne Legacy -- is on a clear forward track, though it doesn't answer the question of whether Matt Damon will return to reprise his signature character of the amnesiac assassin/agent Jason Bourne. Damon last indicated that he wouldn't come back unless director Paul Greengrass helmed what would have been his third installment, after Greengrass exited the picture in a huff when the studio began developing it while Greengrass and Damon were making Universal's Green Zone. I'm told that Universal plans to make the film, even if it has to replace Damon, who'd be crazy to give up his franchise character and a huge paycheck if the script is any good.

Nicki Minaj Checks Into ‘Letterman’

ONTD Videogame Post - New Handheld Console Being Released by... Panasonic?

Exploring The Jungle: Do We Need A Handheld MMO Player?

While a portable gaming device specifically created to provide MMO players gaming on the go might sound like a spectacular idea, Panasonic's Jungle might be more trouble than it's worth.

The Jungle really does sound like an excellent product at first glance. What's not to like about a handheld computer gaming device that folds up into a form factor slightly thicker than the old fat Nintendo DS? Imagine being able to slip the Jungle out of your pocket anywhere you are, flip open the screen, and participate in a raid with your World of Warcraft guild.

It sounds like a dream, and it could indeed be dreamy, once you overcome the various hurdles necessary to get you there.

First off, the Jungle is rumored to run on Linux. There's stumbling block one.

Cyrus Family Insider: “We’re Worried Miley Will Be The Next Lindsay Lohan”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
In less than six months, Miley Cyrus has gone from being Disney’s wholesome Hannah Montana, to a 17-year-old club-hopping, see-through shirt wearing wild child…and her parents, Tish and Billy Ray, are beginning to realize their daughter simply can’t be tamed.

“At first Miley’s mom, Tish, got upset when people would tell her her daughter was being wild, but now she’s realizing it herself,” a Cyrus family friend told HollywoodLife.com. “We’re concerned for her. She’s 17-years-old, but is the one who makes the money and calls all the shots in the family. No one tells Miley no. And even if they did, she’s so charismatic that she’d convince them to change their minds.”

Although Billy Ray had a successful career as a country star, Miley has already put his accomplishments to shame. Placing 29th on Forbes‘ The Celebrity 100, Miley reportedly made $25-million in 2009, making her one of the most successful teens in the world — and a terror to deal with at home.

“She’s a sweet girl at heart, but she’s starting to push the envelope,” our source admits. “Between the fast-paced lifestyle and her new ‘image,’ everyone is saying that it’s just a matter of time before she ends up in trouble. We don’t want her to be the next Lindsay Lohan, but the odds are against her.”

Former teen queen, Lindsay Lohan, 24, spiraled out of control and has landed herself in rehab five times — and many blame her addictions on the lack of parental guidance and support in her life. Is Miley headed down the same path?

Lady Gaga's Meat Dress Inspires Jewelry Line

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Lady Gaga is known for being a trendsetter but does she have enough starpower to make it cool to wear meat?

The "Bad Romance" singer's meat dress from this year's VMAs has already inspired young designers to embrace the meatier side of fashion. Onch Movement, a LA-based jewelry company, has created the "meat-lace," a (faux) meat necklace that the company says was inspired by the famous fashionplate.

From Onch Movement's online store:

Lady Gaga and her famous meat dress serve as direct inspiration for this creation. The outrageous and controversial meat dress caused quite a stir among the fashion world, animal lovers and activists. (But FEAR NOT PETA the Meat-cessory line is 100% animal friendly!)

The unisex necklace is made from "animal free material" and comes on an 18-inch black and gold chain.

The "meat-cessory" can be yours for a very reasonable $55.
Sure, it may not be as cheap as Gaga's meat creation but at least this necklace won't grow rancid over time.

if she hears about it she'll feel bad

Jane Lynch: 'Tina reminds me of myself'

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Jane Lynch has revealed that her "favorite" Glee character reminds her of herself.

In an interview with RTÉ Ten, the Sue Sylvester actress praised Tina Cohen-Chang (Jenna Ushkowitz), explaining that she can be "amazing" when not in the background.

"My favorite is Tina because she reminds me of myself," she said. "She's kind of in the background, kind of dark and yet when she breaks out she's amazing."

Lynch also admitted that she believes Sue is so popular because the character has "no filter" and says what people think.

"I think Sue Sylvester is so attractive to people because she is so mean, she's that inner voice that we all have but would never say out-loud," she said.

"She has no filter and people love that - she can put together these rambling sentences of condemnation that everyone wishes they could and at the end of the day she's not dangerous - she's laughable.

"It's not like Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs, we don't need to be afraid of her,"
she added.

The Hobbit has a release date and will be filmed in 3-D?

Big Hairy Feet, Now in 3-D?

So “The Hobbit” will be in 3-D. That is a measure of how much the movie world has changed in the last year or so. In the dimly remembered recesses of, oh, 2009, people involved with the two-movie version of the J.R.R. Tolkien book, then to be directed by Guillermo del Toro, insisted that 2-D screen technology was just right for a pair of movies that were viewed as being a little more intimate than their sweeping precursors in the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy. Then came “Avatar,” “Alice in Wonderland,” and even the much-maligned “Clash of the Titans” — one film after another proving that viewers would pay a premium for 3-D, as long as the underlying movie wasn’t an utter bust.

As “The Hobbit” now nears a green light, with the director Peter Jackson, after months of behind-the-scenes dealmaking, it emerges, according to a person briefed on the plans (but speaking on the condition of anonymity, as the deal is not yet closed), with the inevitable third dimension. And never mind all the cheering at Comic-Con in July, when panelists in a Middle Earth-oriented session repeated the now-defunct promise that the picture would be 2-D.

It looks as if the first “Hobbit” film will have something else in common with “Avatar.” The plan is for a release on or about Dec. 19, 2012, approximating the Dec. 18 release date that was good to “Avatar” last year. Then again, the makers of “Avatar” probably noticed that Mr. Jackson pretty much owned that slot with his three “Lord of the Rings” films, in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

Ian McKellen Waiting for Hobbit Papers

Sir Ian McKellen was one of the many celebs at the “Les Miz” 25th anniversary show on Sunday night at London’s O2 Arena.

Just finished with a stage production of “Waiting for Godot,” Sir Ian is now Waiting for Peter Jackson. He’s supposed to appear in Jackson’s “Hobbit” movie, and is hopeful that the lawyers involved will have papers for him to sign soon so he can reprise the pivotal role of Gandalf.

“It’s still a matter of MGM and Warner Bros. sorting things out, but I’m told they’re close.”

Sir Ian also told me that he’s never heard a word from anyone about the upcoming reboot of “X Men.” McKellen has played Magneto in the first three films.

“The last I heard, nothing was happening. Then I read about the new production.” Likewise, he hasn’t heard about the new “Wolverine” or anything new from the Marvel-Fox productions.

Sir Ian was busting with pride about “Les Miz” and the fantastic 25th anniversary show put on Sunday night by Cameron Mackintosh. “And it’s British!” he declared. “Americans aren’t the only ones who can do musicals.”

Usher 'Very Disappointed' His Mom Skipped His Wedding

Usher and his mother have reconciled, but he still wishes she hadn't boycotted his wedding three years ago.

In an interview with Vibe magazine, the 32-year-old says he was "very disappointed" that his mother decided not to witness his marriage to his former stylist, Tameka Foster. The two divorced in last year.

Usher says he "wouldn't do that to my child." The singer says "parents should be able to have unconditional love for their children and their decisions, regardless of how they feel."

Usher and Foster have 2-year-old and 1-year-old sons. Usher's mother used to manage his career.

The October/November issue of Vibe hits newsstands Oct. 12.

Or maybe he should have listened to his mom before he married the gold-digger.

"Rose" to Be Miley's Next US Single?

Miley Cyrus & Bret MichaelsMiley Cyrus' cover of Poison's "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" may be the second single released off her latest album, Can't Be Tamed.

Poison frontman Bret Michaels has said that he and Cyrus will be hitting the studio to fine-tune the song before its release.

"When we sit down on the guitar and the piano and play, she just nails it," the rocker says.

"And I just said to her, 'Listen, you gotta throw everything else out. 'Every Rose' is a No. 1 classic around the world. It was No. 1 in almost every country. So here's the deal—add just a little pop flair, but keep it organic.'"

And Michaels doesn't want things to end in the recording studio. "I'm just throwing it out there, but I could direct a kickass video that would be insanely cool and very hip," he says. "Very down-to-earth, very hip and just a walk through life."

Just a couple of weeks after Can't Be Tamed's title track was released, Michaels and the teen queen performed "Every Rose" together on Good Morning America. Cyrus also appears on Michaels' song "Nothing to Lose" from his latest album, Custom Built.

What do you think ONTD? Here's the song if you haven't heard it:

First look at the new AI judges in action

With the wings of the Calatrava addition making extra "flaps" in honor of "American Idol" auditions at the Milwaukee Art Museum on Sunday, the reality show's celebrity judges marveled at the unusual venue as well as what they said was a deep level of talent in the Brew City.

By Sunday afternoon, returning "Idol" judge Randy Jackson and newcomers Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler had advanced 38 of the approximately 110 people slated for call-backs at the art museum this weekend.

Thirty-two people had yet to audition at the time of a news conference with the judges, which framed them on an "American Idol" set in the museum's sunny atrium.

"They've been blowing us away," said Lopez, as sailboats drifted on the lake behind her.

From Child Star to Broadway Headliner, Christina Ricci Looks Back on Her 20-Year Career

Christina Ricci’s 1990 film debut performance as Cher’s daughter in Mermaids thrust the 10-year-old directly into big-time moviemaking, with leading roles in two Addams Family films (as Wednesday), Casper and Now and Then (as the younger version of Rosie O’Donnell!) over the next five years. Ricci proved that her youthful success was no fluke with acclaimed performances in dramas such as The Ice Storm, The Opposite of Sex and Monster and lighter fare such as Speed Racer and Penelope. Now this distinctive actress is set to make her Broadway debut in the return of Donald Margulies’ Time Stands Still (replacing Alicia Silverstone). It’s Ricci’s first time on any stage, but she’s upbeat and excited about joining returning cast members Laura Linney, Brian d’Arcy James and Eric Bogosian in a play that tackles big themes of love and loss, guilt and happiness. In conversation, Ricci is bubbly and girlish—virtually the opposite, in fact, of her dour movie persona, but very much in tune with the guileless young party planner she plays in Time Stands Still.

Patron Saint of Long Island JWOWW Helps Spread Breast Cancer Awareness

A Huntington appearance by "Jersey Shore" reality star Jenni "JWOWW" Farley - speaking at a kickoff for Breast Cancer Awareness Month - turned into something of a public relations misfire Monday.

A news release announced that Farley, who lives in Franklin Square, would be taking on a new role as "ambassador" for 1 in 9: The Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition. "She will speak across the United States at schools and colleges about early detection," the statement said.

That seemed to be a surprise to Farley. She said plans for her to speak across the country were "not true," and that she showed up to help public relations executive Todd Shapiro, who represents Gold Coast Bank, where the event was held.

Bruce Springsteen could be 'Glee's' next big guest star

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Ree Hines writes: Get ready, Gleeks! Bruce Springsteen might be on his way to William McKinley High.

Recent rumors about an upcoming Springsteen tribute on "Glee" went one step further Monday morning when Showbiz Spy reported the New Jersey native could even make an on-screen appearance on the hit song and dance show.

"Bruce is such an all-American icon we thought it would be great to get him on board," a show insider revealed. "His music is loved by everyone and it has such potential to fit into the show."

If the deal gets past the "in talks" stage, Springsteen would play the part of Finn Hudson's uncle, while the rest of the "Glee" gang perform Uncle Boss's biggest hits.

News of the possible Springsteen-themed "Glee" episode recently made its way to show regular Jane Lynch.

"I hear rumors that we may do a Bruce Springsteen episode and I think something like that would be amazing," the actress behind Sue Sylvester said in an interview with RTÉ Ten. "I'm a big fan!"

Queen B Working With William Orbit! Ray Of Light Anyone?

Britney plans to head into the studio and collaborate with William Orbit on her new album.

The producer helped Madonna score a string of hits when he worked with the Queen of Pop on her Ray of Light record and now Brit is hoping for similar success by enlisting his services.

Revealing the news is Spears' A&R, Teresa Whites, who wrote on Twitter: "Some HUGE news guys! William Orbit is officially writing and working on Britney's new album. For those who don't know he did alot of Madonna's Ray Of Light."

Although that message has since been removed from the site and replaced with a new Tweet that reads: "Hey @WilliamOrbit ..hope you and Alan made it home safely! come back to Texas soon...we'll have the plane ready! (sic)"

She's working with all kinds of different producers that specialise in a certain genre...We basically have no idea what direction the album is heading into. Exciting!

Gays in 90210 (An Zipcode In Beverly Hills)

Teddys Homophobic Bullying Storyline Finally Makes This Show (Freakishly) Relevant!

Teddy calls another student the F-word and then attacks him in the hallway. I feel like I’m watching the news.

It took 90210 three seasons, but it’s finally beginning to achieve the relevance of the original Beverly Hills, 90210 — still relying on the gimmicks (car crashes, pill problems, etc.) but also having something to say about the world around it. The Oct. 4 episode launched us head-first into Teddy’s (Trevor Donovan) coming out storyline — just like Jessica Lowndes foretold in our exclusive interview — and it’s actually kind of intense. My one question, though: Considering all the possible dramatic ways Teddy and Ian’s story could have played out, did it have to involve them fighting over the choreography of an all-male group striptease?

Seriously, though, 90210 has found itself in an interesting little situation. There have been so many reports of homophobia, bullying and suicide in the news — and this episode inadvertently mirrors them all. Given the circumstances, I really think a lot more people will be keeping an eye on this show now than The CW ever imagined, and a ton of them are really going to identify with it. I’m not sure there’s ever been a storyline on the show that’s managed to do that so far.

Let's Talk About Sex, Betty!

Betty White scoffs at the question.

"Does desire melt away with age? I'm waiting for that day to come," the 88-year-old tells AARP Magazine in its November/December issue. "Sexual desire is like aging," she continues, pointing at her head. "A lot of it is up here."

White, who shares the magazine's cover with two of her You Again costars Jamie Lee Curtis and Kristin Bell, tells the magazine that her first marriage was totally physical. "I married my first husband because we wanted to sleep together," she says. "It lasted six months and we were in bed for six months."

After a disastrous second marriage, White met game show host Allen Ludden. She says they were a match made in heaven – even though she wasn't initially interested. "He bought me a beautiful ring and I threw it back at him," she recalls, "so he wore it on a chain around his neck. He said, 'I'm going to wear it until you put it on your finger.' " (THAT IS SO CUTE BETTY)

It worked, and the couple walked down the aisle in 1963, and stayed together until his death in 1981. "The secret to our marriage was enthusiasm," White says. "When I knew Allen was coming home, I would freshen my makeup and put on a new blouse."

And the sex was apparently great, too. If Ludden were alive today, White thinks they'd still be sleeping together. But if he were unavailable, White has a second choice. "I don't have a fella," she says, "but if Allen – or Robert Redford – were around, we'd have a very active sex life."

I love her so much, she reminds me of MY grandma Betty. She's still fierce/fabulous/hilarious at 88, I pray I'm as cool as she is when I'm older. Betty Whites drinks to your health, A SEX POST, and happiness, ONTD

Cher has seen the light!!!!

Quote from Cher on Aguilera from "Burlesque: The Motion Picture", official book for the movie:

"I watched Christina, an incredible singer and dancer with one of the most exceptional voices I've ever heard, change before my eyes into a fine actress. It was wonderful to see that happen. Of course, me being me, I had to give her one tiny bit of advice. It was in the scene in which Tess says, "OK I'm going to build the show around you." There was a close-up on Christina, and though she had a beautiful look on her face, I knew she had more to give. I went up to her and said, "Christina, this is the moment you've been waiting for all your life. Not your character's life, but yours. It's now or never." Moments later I watched her pull years of tears out of those baby blue eyes. Yeah! I know this beautiful child can go as far, and as deep, as she wants to go. I'm proud of her and I am proud to be in this film with her."

MTV shuts down 'Bridge and Tunnel' reality series for being too 'Jersey'

Angelina Pivarnick isn't the only one MTV sent packing back to Staten Island lately.
While MTV has found a hit in "Jersey Shore," it seems that the network doesn't believe that lightning will hit the same place twice for new Staten Island-based reality series, "Bridge and Tunnel."
According to our sources, MTV has shut down production on the new reality show, because it was too similar to another situation on the network, "Jersey Shore." The show features a group of young people from New York's Staten Island trying to move on up to Manhattan. The network previously screened an excerpt of the show at Upfronts last year. At one point, the show was scheduled to premiere later this month on the network.
Our sources tell us that the crew has been shooting for the past three months in New York before production was halted about two weeks ago. As of now, the series will probably never see the light of day. We're told that the network has no plans for the footage to go into editing.

Ayumi Hamasaki Dethrones Seiko Matsuda, Smashes Record For Most Consecutive #1 Singles

Ayumi Hamasaki's latest maxi single "L" seized the number-one spot on the Oricon weekly chart, becoming her 25th consecutive number-one single since "Free & Easy" in 2002.

Hamasaki now holds the record for the most #1 singles by a female artist, in both the solo and group categories.

Last week, Hamasaki tied with singer Matsuda Seiko, who reigned over the Oricon chart with 24 singles in a row from 1980 to 1988, with the single "Crossroad". With "L"'s success, however, she was able to take the title from Matsuda, who held the record for 22 years.

Ayu commented, "I'm surprised and honored at the same time. It's all thanks to the fans who have supported each and every single that I kept putting my heart in."

But before 50 got cozy with Chelsea, dude knocked out a live freestyle set with a local band at the club.
