“She’s so precious, just a princess. And he’s my little dude,” says the Sugar Ray singer of his children, who arrived on April 29. “Their birth was the greatest moment of my life.”
The twins are “polar opposites” in personality and looks, says the couple. While Lydon “knows what he wants and wants it now,” says Kingsland, Hartley “is very calm and has a lot of patience. She’s very sweet.”
Adds McGrath, who will host the new season of Don’t Forget the Lyrics! this fall: “People say Lydon looks like me, and Hartley has a Latin flavor to her — she’s got darker skin and big beautiful lips like Carin.” The couple plans to raise the twins to speak English and Spanish like Kingsland, whose mother is from Panama.
After 16 years of dating ups and downs, McGrath, 42, and Kingsland, 37, hoped to start a family after a solid four-year run in their relationship. But their path to parenthood wasn’t easy, especially as they got older.
Kingsland had lost one ovary to a tumor at age 11 and suffered from fibroids and polycystic ovary syndrome. And McGrath had been told he might never father children following a childhood case of testicular torsion.
So after more than a year of failing to conceive the old-fashioned way, they decided to try a single round of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and were surprised not only when it worked — but when they learned they were expecting two bundles of joy.
“Not to be cheesy, but you get really gangster about your relationship now, like this is my family,” says McGrath. “There’s a bond that the four of us share that nobody can mess with.”

PW: Guy-liner?
Gregory: Oh yea, plus platform shoes, spiked collars and my hair is straight up two feet high. It’s pretty intense.
He says: “They’re even more childish than heterosexuals. I would think they’d be more advanced about all this. I thought women would be more evolved or something.” Howard has always been a strong gay rights advocate and it’s totally endearing to hear his disappointment in the show’s negative depiction of gay women.

Her popular reality series What Katie Did Next will continue but she's also set to take on other projects in the two-year deal.
They will include a new entertainment series consisting of six one-hour episodes fronted by the mum-of-three.
It's a huge boost for her production company Pricey Media, which will now become the largest independent producer for Living, which is run by Virgin Media Television.
The next series of her reality show - which picked up record ratings for ITV2 - is expected to air next year.
The programme landed impressive audience figures for the channel, peaking at 1.8million viewers, often making it the most watched programme on the multichannel stations.
Katie's new contract starts when her current deal with ITV2 ends later this year.
Pricey Media managing directors Mark Wagman and Jane Robinson said: "Viewers continue to be fascinated by Katie Price, and we are delighted that this new deal offers the perfect springboard to evolve her television career as well as grow and develop our media business in partnership with VMtv who have given Pricey Media the creative freedom and scope to develop some really exciting new projects for their channels."
Warner Bros. has released the full press kit for Christopher Nolan’s Inception and included are 41 high resolution images and a ton of posters. The reason the images and posters have been released is the press junket is this weekend here in Los Angeles. What that means is…the press get to see the movie tonight. However, while most members of the press are usually on Twitter and Facebook right after a screening, WB has sent out an email asking everyone not to write anything on any social networking site. However, I’m sure some will break it, so expect early reviews to hit the net very soon. Until then, hit the jump to check out the images and posters.
