ABC is taking its time rolling out the big get, with the first clip released today.
Vicki Mabrey conducted the exclusive interview for Nightline, but Mabrey was on Good Morning America to preview the sit-down today with a two-minute clip. She’ll be back on tomorrow with more of the interview, and then it airs in full tomorrow night on Nightline. For those Lost fans, you got a preview during the finale, as promos aired last night as they have throughout the weekend.
As for the content, James was remorseful. “The last person I would ever want to harm is her, and the kids,” he said.
Mabrey seemed to keep his feet to the fire. “That’s the million dollar question: you had the perfect life, you had the perfect wife. why did you throw it away?”
I don’t know. During the midst of all it, when I was doing it, one, I knew it was horrible, it made me feel horrible and two I knew I would get caught eventually and I think I wanted to get caught.
Mabrey said James “knows 100% that she’s going to divorce him,” but wanted to speak out now to clear the air on a few other side stories, like those Nazi photos. Also from the ABCNews.com story, we know “at one point in the interview, James teared up and asked Mabrey for a moment to collect himself.
ABC is getting a lot of mileage out of this exclusive, as any network would. The ratings for Nightline could be huge tomorrow, as the crossover appeal of the story – the People magazine crowd as well as news junkies – will tune in in droves. This comes as the program continues to tighten the gap with first place Jay Leno in the late-night race.
Have you ever wanted to have a chat with Paul McCartney? Of course you have! Well, now's your chance to pose a question to Macca. Sir Paul. You know - the 'cute Beatle.'
Tomorrow afternoon, 20 May at 5pm BST (noon EST), McCartney is going to take time out of his tour rehearsals to chat live with his fans and anyone that tunes in to www.ustream.tv/paulmccartney. Paul will be beamed live from his studio in Sussex across the globe and will answer questions put to him during the exclusive broadcast.
Have a good question or two ready, because chances are you'll be competing over many hundreds and possibly thousands of voices all vying for Paul's attention.
"Dear God" was a slow-burning highlight from the 2009 self-tiled LP from Monsters of Folk (aka Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis, My Morning Jacket's Jim James, and M.Ward). "Dear God 2.0" is a slow-burning remake of the track by the Roots that will be included on their forthcoming LP How I got Over James' lofty vocals are consistent but the beat is overhauled and a couple characteristically wary verses from Roots rapper Black Thought are added. According to a press release, Oberst, Mogis, and Ward also contributed to the revamp.

The Washington based Arena Stage (temporarily based at Arlington, VA) have announced that they will present the pre-Broadway world premiere of John Grisham's first novel A Time to Kill as part of their 2010/11 season, playing at their new permanent home, The Mead Center for American Theater, from 6 May - 19 Jun 2010.
There has been no announcement as to when the play will arrive on Broadway.
Grisham's 1989 novel has been adapted for the stage by Tony Award-winner Rupert Holmes (Drood) and presented by special arrangement with New York producer Daryl Roth.
The Arena's synopsis for A Time to Kill says, "After an unspeakable crime is committed against his daughter, Carl Lee Hailey takes the law into his own hands. Now on trial for murder, Carl Lee’s only hope lies with two young, idealistic lawyers who are outmatched by a formidable district attorney and under attack from both sides of a racially divided city. A Time to Kill asks audiences to consider the true meaning of justice."
Grisham is a popular author of legal thrillers: 'TheTestament,' 'The Lawyer,' 'Pelican Brief' etc, and his books have sold over 250 million copies worldwide. His novels are regularly adapted into screen plays - but 'A Time to Kill' will be the first stage-adaptation of one of the acclaimed author's works. The 1996 film adaptation of 'A Time to Kill,' adapted by Akiva Goldsman and directed by Joel Schumacher, starred Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey, Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Spacey, Ashley Judd and Kiefer Sutherland. The film was a commercial success and raised $110 million at the USA box office.
Rupert Holmes won Tony Award's for his musical 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood' (score, lyrics and book), and 'Curtains' (Book).

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT's spooky TV series GHOST WHISPERER has been brought back from the dead - TV executives at ABC have given the show a lifeline.
The long-running drama was axed last week (ends21May10) as part of a sweep by executives at CBS.
But Hewitt's co-star and ex-boyfriend Jamie Kennedy has revealed there is still "life" in the programme after ABC chiefs expressed interest in picking up Ghost Whisperer for its future schedule.
He says, "They are talking about it, so that's cool. We haven't exactly gone into the light, we haven't crossed over, but we've got some life."
Ghost Whisperer premiered in 2005.
The official press conference isn’t until, but we’re ready to call this one like FOX News. Hip-hop enigma Lauryn Hill will be headlining this year’s Rock The Bells tour. The ex-Fugees songstress will be performing her classic solo album, The Miseduction of Lauryn Hill, as part of a complete album format that has become an increasingly popular way for legendary acts to draw attention to current tours. Also rumored to be performing a full-length at RTB2010 is A Tribe Called Quest. Perhaps they’ll join Ms. Hill in a rendition of Roberta Flack’s “Killing Me Softly,” The Fugees’ most infamous hit, which sampled ATCQ’s “Bonita Applebum.”
URB spoke to representative of Rock The Bells who would not confirm…or deny the booking. The official Rock the Bells press conference takes place tonight at The Key Club in West Hollywood.
