On tonight's 16 and Pregnant premiere, we met Jenelle, who was 100 percent positive that she wanted to keep her child -- even though her mother had recommended both abortion and adoption. Remote Control followed up with Jenelle to find out what factored into her decision and to see where she's at now with her family, as well as Baby Jace's father. Check out her update below...

Gettin' back on a saddle - here's Jenelle Evans on a date!
During the premiere episode of the second season of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant party girl Jenelle Evans realized her boyfriend of three years Andrew was great when neither of them had any real responsibilities, but his complete absence after Jace was born combined with a DUI arrest and seven days in prison made it perfectly clear he was going to be a burden at best when it came to being a father. So, Jenelle went out on a date!

For Italian Vanity Fair (17 Febbraio, 2010), shooter Ruven Afanador creates an homage to the late Anna Nicole Smith that's almost as tacky as the troubled lady herself using plus-sized (aka normal-sized) model Crystal Renn as the infamously white-trash bombshell. I mean, they even use pill bottles and an infant:

Today (Feb. 17) Britney Spears had a rare rendezvous with her little sister, Jamie Lynn, and her young niece, Maddie in L.A., OK! has learned.
An eyewitness tells OK! that the sisters — who don’t often spend time together— had a lunch date in Hollywood, before heading back to Brit’s Calabasas estate where Britney got to spend some quality time with little Maddie.
Brit, who was wearing tight pink short shorts with matching pinks sandals, came from a nearly three-hour-long meeting in Westwood, L.A., and met 18-year-old Jamie Lynn — who is thought to have flown in from Louisiana today — at the Mondrian hotel in Hollywood.
The pair caught up over a late lunch in a hotel room. We bet they gossiped about Jamie Lynn’s new older man, 28-year-old businessman James Watson!
Then they headed out to Brit’s Calabasas estate where their mom, Lynne, is also believed to be.
“It’s very rare for the sisters to hang out together,” said our source. “It’s a once-a-year thing, if that.”
Audrey Tautou, known as the kooky Parisian girl in the movie "Amelie", made her live stage debut this week as a tragic heroine -- the latest screen actor to bring star power to struggling Paris theaters. The brown-eyed Tautou, who was a Parisian detective alongside Tom Hanks in the critically-condemned blockbuster film "The Da Vinci Code," now plays Nora, a disillusioned bourgeois housewife in Henrik Ibsen's classic "A Doll's House."
Media anticipation was high for the first professional stage appearance by the 33-year-old, who became a worldwide star after "Amelie" in 2001.
But she banned journalists from watching rehearsals, according to Le Monde newspaper. "Knowing there are outside eyes there watching is oppressive to me," it quoted her as saying.
At the old Theatre de la Madeleine in central Paris, she drew loud applause for her opening performance on Tuesday -- well cast for the early stages of Nora's fatally carefree married life, though perhaps she lacked tragic gravitas for the character's later moral collapse.

After scrapping the previous album they had written and recorded with bassist Chi Cheng, who is still in a coma like state after a horrible accident, Deftones have announced the release of a newly recorded album.
Diamond Eyes will be available everywhere May 18. The first track to be released is called "Rocket Skates", and will be available for free download at deftones.com next Tuesday, February 23.
Head over to Deftones' Myspace right now for a sneak preview.
I love this band. I am never disappointed in the least with anything they do. I can't wait for this.
Also, for more information on Chi and his current condition and ways you can help please visit http://oneloveforchi.com. Be warned, there is loud ass auto play on the site. I couldn't find where or how to turn it off.
This. Is. Awesome.
Ladies and gentlemen, seek no further; we have our defining moment for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games:
For those of you too lazy to click the link, it’s hunky Dutch speedskater Sven Kramer coming off a gold-medal-winning performance to be greeted by an NBC reporter getting up in his grill and asking him the routine talking head questions like “where are you from” and “do you think you did well” and so on.
And he looks her in the eye and responds “Are you stupid?“
(Heh heh heh, I bet THAT'S something NBC never airs... okay, going back to screaming WTF at the Austrian ski jumping coach.)
Performing the song Fine, from their new album.

PARIS – Alexander McQueen's namesake label will continue despite the death of the designer, the parent company PPR SA said Thursday.
Robert Polet, chief of the Gucci Group subsidiary, said the collection McQueen was working on before his death will be shown at Paris fashion week next month.
A week after the designer's death, found hanged in his wardrobe, PPR CEO Francois-Henri Pinault and Polet paid homage to McQueen. Pinault called him a genius, a poet and a friend.
The designer rose to fame in the 1990s, and was known for his daring and edgy style and skillful tailoring. He is credited with helping to revive the once-moribund British fashion industry.
McQueen's label belongs to PPR's Gucci Group subsidiary, which comprises luxury fashion and leather brands.
Robert Polet, who heads the group, said he spoke with McQueen a few weeks ago when the two men decided that "we have transitioned from being the name of a designer to putting in place the building blocks of a brand."
"That means that will be my legacy," McQueen had said, according to Polet. "That's something I will always leave behind."
The Gucci group will use its combined resources to ensure the label continues, he said.
"Lee is of course irreplaceable," Polet said, referring to McQueen's first name, dropped from his professional moniker.
He said the team that had been preparing the collection with McQueen would unveil it during the Paris fashion week on March 3-11.
A British coroner's inquest said Wednesday that the fashion designer, grieving from the death of his mother, died by asphyxiation and hanging, leaving a note behind. He was 40.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, which came just ahead of the funeral of McQueen's mother, who died Feb. 2.
McQueen's death has cast a shadow over London Fashion Week, which opens on Friday. A tribute to the designer was to be held.
McQueen was named British Designer of the Year four times and awarded the title of CBE — Commander of the Order of the British Empire — by Queen Elizabeth II.
His stunning pieces never sold in great numbers, but he became one of fashion's best-known brands.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Universal Pictures is looking to reboot the theatrical "American Pie" series by developing a new version. The third title in the franchise, American Wedding, hit theaters in 2003, and was followed by a slew of DVD titles that carried the "American Pie Presents" banner.
While Universal declined to comment on the report, the newspaper adds that at least some of the original cast is interested in coming back for the new film, though no deals are in place.
The original films, including 1999's American Pie and 2001's American Pie 2 starred such names as Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Seann William Scott, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Chris Klein, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari and Eugene Levy, who also appeared in the DVD titles.
Taking a break from the Fashion Week festivities, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted out to dinner in New York City last night (February 17).
Also hitting up a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, the “Simple Life” starlet and her Good Charlotte rocker looked a bit camera shy as they made their way around Midtown Manhattan, trying to avoid the paparazzi.

According to a press release, the three-hour exhibition will "transform the museum into a kinetic, psychedelic environment" that will include new Animal Collective music, projections, costumes, and props. Sounds like the closest you'll ever get to being inside Animal Collective's brain.
In an explanatory statement, AC wrote, "We wanted to create an environment where people could take some time to listen to other kinds of sounds and get away from those familiar sounds of the city. Keeping in mind the birds of the jungle, we've created an array of sounds with Animal Collective's music that is seemingly random...or is it?" OR IS IT?!

Last year's winner will appear on the show next week to share footage of his trip and perform.
Kris Allen will appear on "American Idol" next week to help raise money for Haiti, it was announced Wednesday (February 17). Last year's "Idol" winner has partnered with the United Nations Foundation to take a trip to the earthquake-ravaged country, and he will share footage from his visit and perform on the February 25 results show.
Allen will head to Haiti on February 19 to meet with U.N. staff and Haitian people to find out what the country will need to recover in the coming months. Fox told The Associated Press that viewers will be asked to make donations online or by text-messaging during the "Idol" episode, with the money going to the Idol Gives Back Foundation to help support the U.N. Foundation's work in Haiti.
"I'm looking forward to traveling to Haiti to see the U.N.'s work firsthand," Allen said in a statement. "The people of Haiti are rebuilding their country, and the U.N. is there to help them every step of the way. I look forward to sharing the images and stories from my trip with 'Idol' viewers across the country."
The appearance is part of the show's "Idol Gives Back" charity effort, with the full "Idol Gives Back" episode airing April 21. The charity show took a break last season due to the pressure of producing that show along with the finale. "Idol" judge Randy Jackson suggested that this year's "Idol Gives Back" might benefit Haiti, and it looks like that is part of the plan.
Many of you may already know of my passion for the Tracy Anderson Method and my investment in it. She has kicked my formerly sagging ass into shape and I will be forever grateful. This week, Tracy shares with us a little arm series that I did everyday preparing for Iron Man and that I take on the road. She just made it home-made style for me, lo fi. But it's good. Especially for the batwing problem. Also, some of her dedicated clients talk about why they love her as much as I do. She has some brand new DVD's that I have been doing in my hotel room on location and which I highly recommend. Love, Gwyneth
Home made style. Very lo fi. (Memberships at Tracy's gym only cost $900 A MONTH, so we are totally DIYing it in here). Get rid of those batwings, ladies! Your bodies are disgusting!
Honestly, I could really care less about Gwyneth Paltrow's Arm Flab Secrets. This is all just the blah blah blah to post the Tracy Anderson arm work-out routine:
Imagining Gwyneth Paltrow doing this routine in front of the computer, to this song, in her hotel room, on the set of Duets 2: The Edge Of Reason, with Chris Martin on the bed behind her, rolling his eyes, bored out of his fucking mind, and 5-year-old Apple in the corner working on her Latin conjugations, is the funniest thing that I have done all day.

Angelina Jolie was photographed in Venice, Italy Wednesday afternoon with two protruding muscles where her chin meets her neck. The photo was not altered, as Jolie, 34, sported the same facial protrusion at the BAFTA awards in February 2009 (see bottom photo, at left).
UsMagazine.com consulted a number of plastic surgeons to find out what's really going on because, as Beverly Hills-based Dr. Gabriel Chiu tells Us, "it's unlikely that the banding can occur from strong facial muscles alone."
Dr. Elie Levine, who has not treated Jolie, says that it appears she's "received Botox to her face and likely her neck" because she shows "no wrinkles along the sides of her eyes (the crow's feet) despite that very large smile... and her forehead is smooth."
Botox paralyzes muscles, causing one to "recruit other muscles that are not regularly used to twisting the neck and smiling widely" to compensate, he adds.
Dr. Chiu believes Jolie may have had a "minimally invasive procedure" -- such as Gore-Tex injected into her face -- to lift and suspend "the tissues in her neck, jaw line and lower face."
Dr. Brian Glatt concurs. "Angelina appears to have had a procedure done to tighten her lower face, neck, and jaw line such as a mini or lower facelift," he says.
If she had a mini-facelift, Dr. Andrew Jacano says the skin was not lifted far enough back.
"Think of it like making your bed," he says. "If you don't pull the sheets tight enough, they'll appear wrinkled and bunched at the corners."
But Dr. Lyle M. Back believes Jolie has not received any cosmetic surgery. He credits the protrusion to Jolie's "very thinned out skin -- tented and pulled over the edge of the angle of her jaw" as the result of her having less than 10 percent body fat.
No rest for new parents Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett.
"When the baby sleeps, we have sex!" Wilkinson, 24, told E! News of baby Hank Jr.'s sleepy time.
"That's what it is for us. That's why it's so cool to be young parents because we have the energy to do that," she explained.
Not that motherhood is always a breeze. The bubbly star admitted that it was "very nerve-racking" taking her 2-month old to watch Daddy and the Indianapolis Colts play the Super Bowl in Miami Gardens, Fla. two weekends ago. "It was his first time being out," she explains.
"That's not going to be the last football game, trust me," she insisted.
In a paparazzi shot, Wilkinson was snapped crying as she held baby Hank following her husband's Super Bowl loss; she blamed the tears on persistent photographers, not the game's disappointing outcome.
"I'm not going to let that stop us," she said. "From now on I will definitely hire a lot of security, but that will not be his last football game."
What about their Valentine's weekend in Vegas? "He surprised me with 10 dozen roses in our hotel room...and I surprised him with sex."
In case no one was listening, the star Tweeted late Wednesday: "SEX....this is just a test!!! lol."
American Idol had to settle for the silver medal for the first time in six years. It’s the first time Idol had lost a single half hour to its competition since 2004. NBC bested American Idol across the board from 9pm-10pm and in most demographics (though it was a tie with women 18-34).
In the 9pm hour Idol averaged a 6.9/17 rating /share with adults 18-49 to NBC’s 9.0/22. NBC a averaged over 30 million viewers for that hour (30.065M) to FOX’s 18.42 million.
On the night NBC averaged an 8.9/23 rating/share with adults 18-49 and 29.26 million viewers overall.

Lulz, updated with typo-free chart~
Let the drama begin. As if the two-night Hollywood rounds finale weren't already filled with enough joy, heartache and tears, "American Idol" producers threw one last twist into the mix at the end of Wednesday night's program by pulling a top 24 switcheroo.
After picking seven of the top 24 on Tuesday night, the judges culled the herd down on Wednesday to carve out the remaining 17 semifinalists, which appeared to include curly-haired Chris Golightly, whom we met at the Los Angeles auditions, where he talked about bouncing around between 25 foster homes as a child.
Golightly was seen in the group shot near the end of the show — at which point only 11 boys had been chosen on screen. But during the traditional finalist introduction dance segment that closes Hollywood, he was inexplicably replaced by Tim Urban.
"It has been determined that Chris Golightly is ineligible to continue in the competition," read a statement from Fox. " 'American Idol' contestant Tim Urban has replaced Golightly as part of the Top 24."

It was a family affair at Justin Timberlake's William Rast fashion show on Wednesday: The singer's parents Lynn and Paul Harless sat in the front row next to his girlfriend Jessica Biel, whom Lynn calls "one of us."
"She's amazing. She's so down-to-earth and her family is great," says Lynn, adding that her son and Biel click because "they're both very funny and creative."
Not to mention thoughtful. "They're always trying to out 'special' each other," says Lynn. "They're pretty openly affectionate."
Timberlake's longtime friend and Tennman Records artist Matt Morris and Vogue editor Anna Wintour also watched from the front row as models showcased the fall 2010 collection, which Timberlake and best friend Trace Ayala created to convey a "nomadic discoverer," says Timberlake, 29. "The landscape of the Midwest was really the prominent theme that we kept coming back to," he also said. "It was really inspiring."
During the show, which was sponsored by Sony, Biel, 27, often leaned over to whisper to a friend in the seat next to her about the different looks. Models donned military-inspired coats and foxtail-covered shoes. "Tonight is my first time seeing the whole collection," Biel told PEOPLE.
No surprise considering the actress's active schedule. Along with promoting her new film Valentine's Day, she climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro last month to raise awareness and funds for the global water crisis.
Aside from the return of Rachel Nichols, the best thing about a G.I. JOE sequel is that it's currently being written by ZOMBIELAND guys Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (who are also working on bringing DEADPOOL to screens in a way that erases his abuse in WOLVERINE).

Chris Brown will face an L.A. judge today -- a judge who wants to know if Brown got his hands dirty enough to satisfy his probation on that felony assault conviction in the Rihanna case.
Our sources say Judge Patricia Schnegg has been skeptical about the type of community service Brown has been performing in Virginia. She wants to make sure it's true hard labor.

It doesn't seem like comedian Sarah Silverman would be offended by much.
The star of the "Sarah Silverman Program" on Comedy Central is known for her overtly sexual, crass and off-the-wall humor.
But when asked by CNN if anything offends her, Silverman said one category of jokes does strike her as offensive and unfair.
"I don't really care for like fat jokes about women, specifically," she said.
"Because I feel that we live in a society where fat men deserve love, and fat women do not deserve love -- at least in white America. And so I feel like that's an ugly thing, and it doesn't make me laugh."
In the wide-ranging interview, Silverman also said she finds it hypocritical for people to get married today, since gay people can't legally wed in most states.
To do so, she said, is comparable to joining a country club in the 1960s that would bar Jewish and black people.
"Not only would I not get married until everyone else can, I kind of am starting to get appalled by anybody who would get married in this day and age," she said.
"Anyone who considers themselves for equal rights -- to get married right now, seems very odd to me."
The comments came after Silverman finished a short but controversial comedy routine at the cerebral TED Conference in Long Beach, California, last week.
TED stands for "technology, entertainment and design," and is pronounced like the common first name. The nonprofit group posts free lectures from world thinkers online and says it's dedicated to "ideas worth spreading."
In front of an audience of Nobel laureates, mathematicians, artists, scientists and inventors, Silverman did not hold back on her edgy brand of comedy.
After talking about the merits of adoption and the problem of overpopulation, Silverman joked on stage that she wants to adopt a "retarded" child with a terminal disease.
That would earn her sympathy points, she said. But, because the child would die soon, she said she wouldn't have to be stuck with the burden for too long.
She also made jokes on stage about the origins of life -- several of which included references to her father's genitals.
Some conference attendees cheered and laughed at her performance, which stood in stark contrast to other TED lectures, which focused on topics like fractals, poverty and AIDS vaccines.
But not everyone responded well to her act -- including TED's leader.
Chris Anderson, the "curator" of the TED Conference, posted on his Twitter feed that he thought Silverman's performance was "god-awful." That post has since been removed.
In the CNN interview, Silverman said she thought she had been well received.
She later fired back at Anderson on her Twitter account, however, dropping a reference to another big-name lecturer at the TED Conference.
"Kudos to @TEDChris [Chris Anderson] for making TED an unsafe haven for all! You're a barnacle of mediocrity on Bill Gates' a--hole," she wrote.
In a follow-up blog, Anderson tried to smooth over some relations.
He wrote that he thought TED had an understanding with Silverman that she would remove some of the "extreme" material from her act.
And he maintained that some portions of her comedy still were offensive.
"Call me stuffy, but I still think humor about terminally-ill 'retarded' kids is an acquired taste," he wrote. "And not a taste I personally want to acquire."
AMANDA PALMER WANTS TO SHOCK YOU. Just Don’t Get Upset About It, ‘Kay?
Hey, everybody: it’s story time!
So, I don’t like Amanda Palmer. The idea of her, I mean! Obviously, I don’t know the woman. Maybe if we met we would braid each other’s hair and trade favorite Lucille Clifton poems; who knows, really? But this, this not-liking-the-idea-of-Amanda-Palmer, has been a contentious issue in my life, it turns out. A lot of feminists really do like her. They like that she is a survivor of sexual assault who has gone public with this information; that she has had an abortion, and talks about that as well; that she did that whole slightly-convex-belly-awareness campaign; that she doesn’t shave her armpits; that she seems, in some manner, deeply unconcerned with what anyone else thinks of her, and deeply devoted to doing what she likes how she likes when she likes it; that this is, in some manner, “feminist” or at the very least kind of healthy, compared to the other things ladies in the public eye tend to do.

Making early mistakes in love.
"I'd always choose someone younger. I wanted to smother them with love. I'd take them around the world, try to educate them. One after another they got a Cartier watch, a Versace outfit, maybe a sports car. They didn't have jobs. They were reliant on me. I did this repeatedly. In six months they were bored and hated my guts because I'd taken their lives and self-worth away. I hadn't intended to."
Love and drugs.
"Just about every relationship I ever had was involved with drugs. It never works. But I always had to be with someone, good or bad, otherwise I didn't feel fulfilled. I'd lost the plot."

Can a studio create a new 'Twilight' (and could someone like Amanda Seyfried be the new Kristen Stewart)?
Maybe the only people who embrace "Twilight" and "New Moon" more than Twi-hards are Hollywood executives, who have been feverishly trying to develop the next "Twilight," or at least re-position movies they have as the second coming of same. (Universal tried that a few months ago with a movie called "Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant," which didn't work out so well.)
Now Warner Bros. appears to be making strides toward getting its own Gothic story of werewolves and young-woman-in-peril closer to the screen -- and with the director of "Twilight," no less.
The company has been developing a movie called "The Girl With the Red Riding Hood," a modern-day spin on the Brothers Grimm story from Leonardo DiCaprio's production company, since last year. In December, the studio entered a holding deal -- basically an arrangement in which the director and studio commit to each other exclusively for a set period of time -- with Catherine Hardwicke, the filmmaker behind "Twilight" who parted ways with the studio for "New Moon."
As that deal comes due this month, it's increasingly looking like "Girl With the Red Riding Hood" will move forward with Hardwicke. There's also plenty of other momentum: The studio has a new version of the script, which "Orphan" writer David Johnson has been working on the last several months. And producers are starting to go out to cast, with Amanda Seyfried -- fresh off her "Dear John" turn and with at least one girl-oriented dark role, "Jennifer's Body," under her belt -- one of the few names the studio would like to hook.
The story is an update of Little Red Riding Hood, with the requisite dark/dangerous/romantic elements that can appeal to "Twilight" fans -- while also attracting audiences who simply like the fairy tale. (The script has gotten high marks from power players around town, who describe it as elevated genre material a la this weekend's "Shutter Island.") True, "Riding Hood" doesn't have Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner or Robert Pattinson playing Bella, Jacob or Edward -- but then those stars were made by "Twilight," not the other way around.
The biggest thing working against the Warner Bros. movie may be that that it doesn't derive from Stephenie Meyer's global bestsellers but from the work of a couple of German academics circa the early 19th century. But when it comes to finding the next "Twilight," these may be mere details.
ohh, Rafa ~dreamy sigh~
In recent weeks, Kourtney Kardashian’s relationship with Scott Disick has been turned upside down with the revelations that Scott was caught with other women, as In Touch originally reported. No longer the attentive boyfriend he was during her pregnancy, it looks like Scott has been showing his true colors. “Kourtney resents Scott for his behavior,” says a friend. “They fight about almost everything when they’re together.” Yet, as the father of her child — and a co-star on her reality show — Scott will be a part of Kourtney’s life forever. And though the friend says Kourtney still loves Scott, she also feels trapped in a relationship that’s high on drama — but low on caring and support.
Focused more on fame than on his family, Kourtney is basically raising Mason alone, says the friend. “From what I’ve seen, Scott doesn’t really hold the baby,” a frequent observer reveals. “When Kourtney has needed help, she has had to ask, and Scott appeared to give her crap about it. He acts like it is a huge hassle if he has to do anything like put down his phone to hold the baby.”
Scott has also been insulting Kourtney — teasing her mercilessly about her baby weight. “To him, it’s joking, but to her it’s taunting,” says one of his pals. “She is really trying to lose it, but it isn’t coming off as fast as she’d like.” Instead of being sensitive, Scott has been calling Kourtney “fat” behind her back, the pal says, adding, “Scott said he’s not attracted to her because she’s fatter than she was when they were dating.”

Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos will anchor for ABC. Katie Couric anchors for CBS and Matt Lauer, from Vancouver, will anchor NBC's special report when Tiger takes to the podium at 11amET. (This will not interrupt Olympic competition on NBC, as coverage does not begin until 3pm tomorrow).
Woods will not take questions from the assembled press.
The cable news and business networks: CNN, CNBC, HLN, Fox News, Fox Business, and MSNBC will also carry the statement. HLN is calling its special "Tiger Woods: Breaking his Silence" co-anchored by Mike Galanos and Jane Velez-Mitchell.

Britney Spears is acting like money grows on trees! Although the pop star is on a strict $1,500-a-week allowance monitored by her father, Jamie, she recently shelled out nearly $750,000 to completely renovate her Calabasas, Calif., home — including $150,000 on new furniture, $200,000 on artwork, $100,000 on a new bathroom, $150,000 on electronics and even close to $100,000 on Venetian plaster walls. “Britney remodeled her entire home,” her friend reveals. “She loves spending money and was able to persuade her father to give it to her.” On February 10, Britney, 29, was also spotted with her bodyguard trying out a sleek, custom Maserati in LA. “They were test-driving this amazing car, but oddly she never got behind the wheel,” says a witness. “Her bodyguard took it out for a spin, while she talked on the phone.” Britney did go low-budget on Valentine’s Day though: She and boyfriend Jason Trawick were spotted at a McDonald’s drive-thru. “Britney loves bargain stores like Target, but she can have very, very expensive tastes, too,” says a friend. The Maserati sports car Britney was checking out sells for about $150,000, which is tough to afford on her weekly allowance.
This interview with Jones came after surgery in 2002 to remove a cancerous thyroid, followed by subsequent surgeries which left Ebert without a jaw and the ability to speak. The piece is accompanied by a photograph of Ebert as he looks today. Ebert writes:
"When I turned to it in the magazine, I got a jolt from the full-page photograph of my jaw drooping. Not a lovely sight. But then I am not a lovely sight, and in a moment I thought, well, what the hell. It's just as well it's out there. That's how I look, after all... This was no time to get sensitive and ask for photo approval, or an advance look at the piece. I'd been the goose, and now it was my turn to be the gander. I've never known what that means, geese-wise."
Ebert reflects at length about how it felt to give the interview, what he thought about the process, the story itself, and the meaning of the cover line: 'Roger Ebert's Last Words.'
I knew going in that a lot of the article would be about my surgeries and their aftermath. Let's face it. Esquire wouldn't have assigned an article if I were still in good health. Their cover line was the hook: Roger Ebert's Last Words. A good head. Whoever wrote that knew what they were doing. I was a little surprised at the detail the article went into about the nature and extent of my wounds and the realities of my appearance, but what the hell. It was true. I didn't need polite fictions.
"Ebert is dying in increments, and he is aware of it," Jones wrote in the article. Ebert added: "Well, we're all dying in increments. I don't mind people knowing what I look like, but I don't want them thinking I'm dying."
The piece is well worth a full read. Find it here.
Getting an early start to the day, Jessica Biel was spotted stepping out in New York City on Thursday (February 18).

Interview with Kathleen Hanna of Le Tigre and Bikini Kill. Mostly recently known for working with Christina Aguilera.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- In the old days, an Olympic showdown like this between an American and a Russian would have gotten our military to at least DEFCON 3 and Al Michaels to probably DEFCON 1.
Wearing the dark sequins, you have the imposing Russian, Evgeni Plushenko, winner of the silver medal in the 2002 Olympics, the gold medal in 2006 and the men's figure skating short program Tuesday night. He is attempting to become the first man to win consecutive golds in this event since Dick Button and extend Russia's streak to five Olympics.
In the light rhinestones, you have America's Evan Lysacek, who made certain to point out after finishing second in the short program that he is the reigning world champ. He is attempting to become the first American to win a gold medal since 1988, when Brian Boitano beat Brian Orser in the Battle of the Brians.
Plushenko, Lysacek and Japan's Daisuke Takahashi are separated by less than a point heading into Thursday night's deciding free program, but Plushenko and Takahashi have one significant advantage over the American. They have a quad jump in their routine, while Lysacek said the jump probably isn't in the cards for him.

Shaun White's gold-medal coronation in the halfpipe finals at the Winter Olympics was marred Wednesday by vulgar statements made by coach Bud Keene and aired on NBC live to the East Coast before White's final run. White was the last to go, but since nobody had beat his score from the first round, he was the automatic winner. There was much joy and celebration atop the run, as there should have been. Unfortunately, a few of those words were picked up by NBC cameras.
At first there were whoops of celebration. But then things got a little R-rated.
Keene: What do you want to do?
White: I don't know, man. Ride down the middle?
(Chorus of noes.)
Keene: No, have some fun.
White: Drop a double mick?
Keene: Yeah, drop a double mick at the end. Do whatever you want and [expletive] send that thing. Make sure you stomp the [expletive] out of that thing.
It went downhill from there if you can read lips, at which point NBC announcers Pat Parnell and Todd Richards apologized for the language and defended it by saying that a lot of energy was running through White and his coaches. The apology was necessary (even if it did draw more attention to the curses – they were tough to hear without rewinding), but NBC was apologizing for the wrong people. They shouldn't be apologizing for Bud Keene; they should be apologizing for the network showing it in the first place.

George Clooney may have to start sharing the spotlight!
His girlfriend, Italian model Elisabetta Canalis, is in talks to appear in a recurring role on the third season of TNT's drama, Leverage, a source tells UsMagazine.com.
"She's very excited about the part as well as the chance to break into American television," the source tells Us.
Canalis -- an Italian TV personality who has had a few acting gigs in her native country -- met with the show's producers in January to discuss the potential role, which would have her act as a mysterious international secret agent.
According to the source, Canalis, 31, has Clooney, 48, to thank for the potential gig.
His good friend, Richard Kind, guest stars on Leverage's second season finale (which airs Wednesday), and helped her connect with the show's producers.
"He told her what a great experience it was and how much he enjoyed it," the source says. "So when the opportunity came up, she was thrilled."
Although she currently resides in Italy, she is making plans to come stateside to shoot her scenes.
"She knows she'll be over here to be with George at the Oscars so she’s hoping to shoot some of her part then," the source tells Us.
Leverage's season finale airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST on TNT. The next season is scheduled to premiere this summer.
I've never seen this show, is it good? Italian ONTDers, is she a good actreess? I've only heard that she was the host of the Italian equivalent of TRL .
There has been quite the commotion over the recent articles about me in the New York Times and The New York Daily News. As only a few select statements of mine were printed I find it necessary to properly express my point of view, without outside editing.
I'm a 21 year old model, 6 inches taller and 10 sizes smaller than the average American woman. Yet in another parallel universe I'm considered "fat"... This was the subject of major discussion this week and the story that was spun was: "Coco Rocha is too fat for the runway".
Is that the case? No. I am still used and in demand as a model. In fact I find myself busier than ever. In the past few years I have not gained an extreme amount of weight, only an inch here and there as any young woman coming out of her teenage years would.
But this issue of models weight is, and always has been, of concern to me. There are certain moral decisions which seem like no brainers to us. For example, not employing children in sweatshops, and not increasing the addictiveness of cigarettes. When designers, stylists or agents push children to take measures that lead to anorexia or other health problems in order to remain in the business, they are asking the public to ignore their moral conscience in favor of the art.

Thought I'd share this with ONTD. It's great to see a well-known model take a stance on an important issue that should have been dealt with years ago. Though bolded, I highly suggest reading the whole blog entry. Plus, bitch is fieeeeerrrrcccee!

On being a new father:
“It’s unbelievable. It’s definitely more than I ever could have imagined it would be. The first week or two it’s definitely life changing and like people always tell you, it gets better per day. Everyday is a new adventure with him.”
On Kris Jenner lashing out at him on the show:
“When I hear Kris’ voice, I hear anger at all times.”
On getting back on Kris Jenner’s good side:
“I figure we can bridge the gap if I start training really hard right now in either football or basketball, but I don’t know how long it would take to be in the NBA or the NFL.”
On a grudge with Lamar Odom and Reggie Bush:
“I care for both of the athletes that are in the family. Kris just thinks that if you’re an athlete you tend to be a better person, when that’s not always the case.”
On mending his relationship with Kris Jenner:
“Honestly, deep down, I think we both love each other a little bit, and I think that will come to the surface in due time. We already are getting along better these days. And now that Mason’s here and she’s a grandmother and she realizes she’s not a 20 year-old kid, I think her attitude has changed for the better, and I’m appreciative of it.”
Listen up Lady Gaga! Shannen Doherty is a huge fan and willing to wear any crazy, over-the-top ensemble created by the pop star herself.
“I would wear anything she made, only if she was right next to my side,” Doherty told PEOPLE at Tuesday’s G-Star Raw runway fashion show in New York. “If she walked in with me somewhere I’d do it!”
The 90210 alum is already no stranger to media attention and admires Gaga’s uniqueness and ability to raise eyebrows without caring about her critics.
“I think she fantastic and she’s amazing,” said Doherty. “What she does, she does and I love that she doesn’t care what others really think. She rocks it out with full confidence.”
For her own everyday look, Doherty says she like to stick with comfort when it comes to her clothes. “My style really is whatever I feel comfortable wearing. That’s my style. I’m all about the material and how it fits.”
And for designer labels, the actress says has a few favorites but isn’t all about the labels. “Some of my favorites are Zac Posen, who has some amazing collections right now, and I’m always a die hard Chanel girl always,” she said. “I like it because it’s just classic. It doesn’t get any better with Chanel.” – Paul Chi
The manager of singer Ashanti is angry that Susan Boyle’s hugely successful debut album ended the R&B star’s eight-year chart record.
Tina Douglas, who is also Ashanti’s mum, had a bit of a rant about the fact that SuBo’s album I Dreamed A Dream put an end to the R&B star’s biggest debut sales week for a female on the Billboard countdown.
SuBo’s album also shattered Ashanti’s three-week record with a debut, an accolade which she shared with fellow R&B star Lauryn Hill.
Speaking to WENN, Tina that she was happy that Scot star Susan has done so well - but felt a bit bitter about the whole episode, because of how hard Ashanti has worked to get to where she is now.
"It's a double-edge sword... We were happy for her (Boyle) but Ashanti held onto that record for eight years and that was a big feat to accomplish with the music industry the way it is.
"This is my personal opinion: people wanna be successful and they're gonna take whatever route that they can. At the end of the day, before Ashanti blew up in 2002, it took me nine years of struggling with three record deals that failed. It was a struggle, it was hard, but it built character.”
However, Tina said that her daughter won’t be giving up any time soon – and that music fans should expect bigger things in the next few years.
She continued: “I'm not gonna knock anyone who has their hustle, and that's what I'm calling it... It's a little bit different, but we're blessed to be where we are. Ashanti's talent speaks for itself. In the next year or two we'll be looking to break other records."

Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Set To Appear At The BAFTA Awards!
It's only been three months since "New Moon" hit theaters, but it certainly feels like an eternity since we've seen Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart out in public together. Sure, the Taylor and Taylor sightings were enough to keep us excited and occupied until they split a while back, but there's something about walking down the tabloid aisle and not seeing KStew and RPattz plastered everywhere that strikes us to the core. Fortunately the Brits have solved our problem.
While Rob's performance in "New Moon" isn't earning him any nominations at this year's British Academy Film Awards (the British equivalent of the Academy Awards), the BAFTA Twitter account announced today that he would be appearing as a presenter. We're hoping he'll be presenting the Orange Rising Star award considering that is what Kristen is nominated for.
It doesn't look like they'll be sitting next to one another though. A photo of the seating arrangements for Sunday's event (it airs in the US on BBC America on Sunday at 8p.m. ET and 7:30p.m. PT) shows Kristen sitting next to Clive Owen and Gabourey Sidibe. Maybe Rob will be her plus one?
Also announced as presenting are Kate Winslet, Guy Pearce, Claire Danes and Dustin Hoffman, Uma Thurman, Clive Owen, Matt Dillon, Noel Clarke, Terry Gilliam, Rupert Everett and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Kelly Osbourne is living a dream now that she’s shed 42 pounds since signing on for Dancing With the Stars in 2009.
The British bombshell, who is engaged to British model Luke Worrall, confessed Tuesday that she currently clocks in at 118 pounds, and couldn’t be happier with the attention her svelte figure attracts.
For Kelly, dropping the pounds means she’s suddenly a welcome fixture during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week as opposed to being an outcast.
“I still wake up every day, and I turn around and look at myself and say, ‘I can’t believe this is actually happening,’ ” she said during G-Star Raw’s fashion show held at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom. “I can’t believe that I’m coming here and I’m being perceived like this, and everybody wants to talk to me and ask me what I’m wearing and send me clothes where usually before — I won’t lie — a lot of the PR companies were really horrible to me. They didn’t want to give me clothes. They didn’t want me to wear them. They just didn’t like me.”
She continues, “This is new. Since I got here, every single morning, I wake up to a bellman at my door with new clothes for me to pick. I’m like, ‘Oh, my God!’ ”
Now that she’s a style sensation, it’s only fitting that she would lighten her locks.
“I was born with blonde hair,” she says. “I dyed my hair black when I was going through my moody, dark phase.”
Her dad, Ozzy Osbourne, keeps a close eye on his 25-year-old daughter, and she admits he has told her he doesn’t want her to marry because he’s afraid she won’t be his little girl anymore.
“Even though I’m not the youngest, I’m the baby of the family,” she says. “I am very much still a daddy’s girl.”
After a humiliated Kevin Smith was kicked off a plane in Oakland, Calif., for being too large for his seat, Ruby Gettinger is supporting the writer/director in his frustration at the everyday obstacles of being overweight. “I feel so sad for Kevin! Cop Out director Kevin angrily turned to his Twitter page, claiming he broke no regulation, after he was asked to leave a Southwest Airlines flight on February 13. A spokesperson for Southwest countered by saying in a statement to In Touch that "employees are responsible for the safety and comfort of all customers on the aircraft." Ruby has a fair solution to the ever-present problem. "My personal opinion is this kind of stuff should be taken care of in private before someone like me or Kevin enters a plane," she adds.

Warner Bros has been as stingy as any major on handing out overall production deals to actors in recent years. But I've learned the studio has just given a first look 2-year deal to Zac Efron. but white people aren't allowed in his VIP.....
- Rap superstar Jay-Z has ignited a race row when the bouncers at his BRITs after-party allegedly prohibited white people from drinking with him in the VIP area. The "Empire State of Mind" hitmaker was said to be unaware that club staff turned away people with white skin.
The 40-year-old hip-hop star held a lavish party at the Merah nightclub in London after his Best International Male Solo win at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday. However, according to the U.K.'s The Daily Star, the bash turned sour when security guards refused to let in white people at the event.
A clubber told the tabloid, "The security guards were happy to let in all party-goers apart from the white people. Girls were being pushed from pillar to post and shouting at each other, yet the security bulldogs paid no attention, despite scenes of violence right under their noses."
Music reporter Kim Dawson added, "Jay-Z is a megastar and yet it was clear white people were not welcome in his VIP area. While the red rope was lifted for black guests to breeze through, let's just say it stayed down if your face didn't fit. Security didn't care a jot as drinks crashed around heads. I feared someone would pull out a weapon if it meant getting an inch close to Jay-Z."

In previous seasons, all social networking was banned, and any pre-existing profiles were deleted prior to the start of live shows.

Kathryn Grayson, star of 1940s and 50s musicals "Kiss Me Kate," "Show Boat" and "Anchors Aweigh," has died. She was 88.
Grayson died Wednesday of natural causes in her Los Angeles home, her longtime companion and secretary Sally Sherman told the Associated Press.
Trained as an operatic soprano singer, Grayson was a staple of MGM's musicals from the early 1940s, mostly in supporting roles. She was later given leads in "Show Boat" (1951) and "Kiss Me Kate" (1953), often paired with Howard Keel and Mario Lanza.
As the popularity of movie musicals waned, she appeared onstage, appearing in "Camelot" from 1962 to 1964, and progressing to several operas, including "La Boheme," "Madama Butterfly" and "La Traviata."
She made three movies with Keel, and later performed and toured with him on the nightclub and summer-stock circuit.
A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Grayson was discovered by MGM talent scouts while singing on the radio, and was first cast in the "Andy Hardy" movies. When movie musicals fell out of favor in the early 1960s, she appeared on stage in several musicals, including "Camelot," and in operas including "La Boheme" and "Madame Butterfly."
She also made several variety-show appearances on television and took occasional dramatic TV roles, most recently on three episodes of "Murder, She Wrote" from 1987-1989.
Grayson is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kathryn, whom she had with actor-singer husband Johnnie Johnston.
There will be no funeral service, Sherman told the AP.
Adam Lambert’s claws came out onstage in New York this week – when he caught a female fan chatting on her cellphone.
Adam stopped his performance and shouted at the terrified girl: “Sorry, can you get off your phone? You’re yelling into it. You’re not watching TV, honey – it’s a live show!”
After learning his craft singing for the likes of Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Ryan Seacrest, you’d think he’d be used to annoying audience members.
If you watched the most recent trailer for Pixar’s Toy Story 3 very closely, you might have noticed a familiar face among the new characters added for the sequel. In the scene when Woody and friends use a computer, a plush Totoro is visible on the left of the screen. Fans of Japanese animation, specifically the films of Oscar-winning filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away; Ponyo), know the big rabbit-looking creature as one of the titular spirits from the director’s 1988 classic My Neighbor Totoro.

There were no candlelit restaurant meals for Lady Gaga and her love interest on Valentine's Day - instead the eccentric singer took her beau to a farmyard barn.
The star instructed her management to find the perfect place for a Champagne breakfast with Matthew Williams nearby to where she was rehearsing for her Brits performance in South Kirkby.
Local farmer Howard Baines told Real Radio: "I get the call and within an hour Lady GaGa's entourage turned up to check the place out, and they said it was just what they wanted.
"Sure enough, the following morning a blacked-out van pulled up. I couldn't believe it. They went into the barn and sat and had their champagne breakfast.
"I only saw Lady GaGa from a distance. She was wearing a leather jacket, sunglasses, leggings and boots. It was so surreal, it's not every day a superstar pops in for breakfast!"

"Giving Up the Gun" is (arguably) the best song from Vampire Weekend's superb Contra, and the track's music video has the potential to boost it even further. According to an Anthem interview with the clip's co-director, Emmett Malloy, it revolves around a "bizarre-o tennis match" featuring RZA, Jake Gyllenhaal, VW lyrical touchstone Lil Jon, and Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. (Kevin Jonas wasn't available, apparently.)
Talking about the video, Malloy-- who directed the White Stripes documentary Under Great White Northern Lights-- said: "We lit shit on fire. We had RZA presiding over the tennis match. Lil Jon came down to give some tennis tips. Jake Gyllenhaal drank himself out of the competition; Joe Jonas tried, but did not succeed. There was a lot of rigorous competition, pyrotechnics, and a little bit of milk to cap it all off." Wow. Just wow.
The "Giving Up the Gun" video is set to premiere all over the internet in the coming weeks. The Vampire Weekend website has a photo from it up now.

Hanson have been striving to integrate the smooth music they grew up on — Billy Joel, Steve Winwood and classic Stax and Motown records — into their pop-rock sound, and on their upcoming fifth album Shout It Out (due June 1st) the trio of brothers push their love of soul and R&B to the next level. Michael Jackson’s horn arranger Jerry Hey and funk brother Bob Babbitt guest on the record, which they laid down in El Paso, Texas, last April and finished up in studios in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Hollywood.
“The album title stood out early on in the record process as a phrase that helped put all those elements into one simple statement,” Taylor Hanson tells Rolling Stone. “The record is built like a lot of records from ’60s and ’70s. From the beginning of the writing process, it felt like the kind of record we could have old school horn parts on.” Working with Hey was a reunion of sorts since he’d also arranged horns on their 2004 release Underneath. But when it came time to team with Babbitt, Hanson says the band benefited from a few “lucky calls” made by industry vet/drummer Steve Jordan and former Michael Jackson music director Michael Beardon to hook them up.
Hanson says Babbitt helped the band add movement to the record, which reflected their larger goals for Shout. “I want to be able to talk about changing the world through your actions and being a generation that is aware and a force to be reckoned with — and at the same time be dancing,” Hanson says, adding that the band’s last LP — 2007’s The Walk — was tied to the band’s experiences in South Africa and its fight to raise money for AIDS awareness. “This record is more buoyant.”
To kick off Shout It Out, Hanson are performing each of their albums in chronological order over a five-night stand in New York City at the end of April. The sold-out shows will be streamed online, and Hanson says the band has locked in guest appearances from musicians who have played on previous Hanson records — a pool that includes blues guitarist Jonny Lang, Sly & the Family Stone member Rose Stone and singer-songwriter Matthew Sweet.
“By going back for a second, it creates a platform that allows you to hear the new record in perspective. In the end, you’ll hear how the songwriting and who we are has never changed,” Hanson explains. “With the new record, we’ve set forth the path we’re on and we’re really comfortable with it. We’re not trying to add anything new. For better or for worse, this is a written, performed, composed by Hanson album.”

London, England (CNN) -- British police said Wednesday they have arrested a BBC television presenter on suspicion of murder after he told viewers he carried out a so-called mercy killing on a former lover.
Ray Gosling, 70, a freelance broadcaster, admitted on a BBC show aired in central England that he had smothered the unnamed partner in hospital where he was being treated for AIDS. Assisting in another person's death is illegal in England.
Police in Nottinghamshire, 160 kilometers (100 miles) north of London, confirmed they had made an arrest after the apparent confession on the BBC's "Inside Out" show.
Gosling made his admission in a taped segment of a 30-minute show about death, recounting how he smothered his partner to end his "terrible, terrible pain."
He told viewers: "Maybe this is the time to share a secret that I have kept for quite a long time. I killed someone once.
"He was a young chap, he'd been my lover and he got AIDS.
"In a hospital one hot afternoon, the doctor said 'There's nothing we can do,' and he was in terrible, terrible pain.
"I picked up the pillow and smothered him until he was dead. The doctor came back and I said 'He's gone'. Nothing more was ever said."
Gosling, who has not revealed details of his former lover's identity or the exact date of the incident, insisted he was not "making a cause" of assisted dying.
In a BBC Radio interview he said: "Sometimes doctors do it on their own. Sometimes people do it on their own.
"And if it happens to a lover or friend of yours, a husband, a wife, and I hope it doesn't, but when it does sometimes you have to do brave things and you have to say - to use Nottingham language - bugger the law."

Former hellraiser Ozzy Osbourne put an end to his cheating ways after a HIV scare saw him wrongly test positive for the deadly virus - and left him contemplating suicide.
The ex-Black Sabbath frontman took full advantage of his rock 'n' roll lifestyle in his heyday and freely admits to cheating on his manager wife Sharon Osbourne.
But he quickly turned his back on his wild ways after one night of unprotected sex in a Hollywood hotel back in the early 1980s left him facing a bleak future.
In his new memoir I Am Ozzy, the rocker recalls undergoing a HIV test on the advice of his doctor - but he was not prepared to hear the results.
He tells the National Enquirer, "I f**king freaked! At the time, I believed it was only gay people who got HIV, and now the doctor tells me I have the bloody plague!
"It was like he'd handed me a death sentence! I literally sank to my knees and wanted to throw up. I was a mess."
Laboratory technicians soon called to reveal the test was "borderline positive" and told Osbourne he should undergo a second test for accuracy - with results returned within a week.
Osbourne almost refused the test because he was already seriously contemplating taking his own life.
He says, "I told him quite seriously, 'Look doctor, I can't wait that long because I'll have killed myself by then.' And I would have."
Osbourne eventually relented and a second HIV test came back negative - and that was enough to scare him into being faithful.
He adds, "What happened was that I was doing so many drugs, my immune system was depressed. So it appeared I was HIV positive!
"But I can tell you, that was the end of my career as a Casanova. I never cheated on Sharon again

The 26-year-old beauty - who has had a UK number one single and album since the girl band took a break last year - is "excited" at the prospect of working with her bandmates again.
She said: "I think it will be exciting. It will feel like we were never apart. But I see them all the time, and when I haven't seen them I hear from them a lot, too."
Cheryl is so close to the group - which also consists of Nadine Coyle, Nicole Roberts, Sarah Harding and Kimberly Walsh - she regards them as her best friends.
She told New! magazine: "They are my best friends. Not in a cheesy way, but you can tell how close we are by the length of our career - knowing them from being a 19-year-old teenager to a 26-year-old woman."
However, the 'Fight For This Love' singer says she's currently concentrating on promoting her debut solo album, '3 Words', because she wants it to be a worldwide smash.
She added: "Well, with this solo album it's like I've started all over again, so I've got new dreams of this album succeeding all over the world. But I'm more than grateful for what I've achieved. I'm also happy and proud of myself for those achievements."
VICTORIA BECKHAM has defended fashion designers who use stick-thin models to promote their clothes.
Despite innumerable anti-size zero campaigns, Posh insists it isn't fair to discriminate against skinny catwalkers.
And she dismisses claims they control their weight by skipping meals.
She told New York-based TV show The View: "Most of these girls are naturally thin.
"And I don't think we should be discriminating against someone because they are too thin or too curvy or too large or whatever it is."
However, the former SPICE GIRL - whose own slender frame was hidden beneath a thick fur-effect coat upon returning to LA - is doing her bit as a designer to make clothes for all shapes and sizes.
Posh has pledged her allegiance to the Council of Fashion Designers of America, which is urging fashion heads to seek out 'healthier' models.
And the singer-turned-designer is following suit with her own label.
"The CFDA have reached out to designers, stylists and casting directors not to work with underage models, girls that are too thin and to be more ethnically aware," she explained.
"And I think designers are listening.
"I had a casting last week and had some terribly thin girls come in and it wouldn't have worked."
Meanwhile, Posh has backed pal SIR ELTON JOHN to step into SIMON COWELL's shoes when he leaves American Idol.
She gushed: "Elton would be good. I don't know if he'd do it.
"He has a very honest opinion, he's very knowledgeable. He's fun and flamboyant."
To which The View hostess WHOOPI GOLDBERG responded: "He is not going to do it!"

But Conan O'Brien was also recently seen by TMZ taking his kids on a Hawaiian vacation, so perhaps he was looking to go undercover. However, for a very recognizable guy who's 6 foot 4, that's about as easy as Big Bird trying to go undercover.

A federal judge sentenced Kevin Trudeau to 30 days in jail on Wednesday after scolding the TV pitchman for inciting his fans to flood the judge's e-mail with testimonials in his favor.
Trudeau has long battled federal regulators over his marketing of alternative "cures" for obesity, memory loss, disease and financial ruin.
U.S. District Judge Robert Gettleman chastised Trudeau last week when he learned the pitchman had urged buyers of his books to write to the judge's e-mail address with letters of support.
Gettleman saw it as a threat to his safety. Trudeau apologized and posted a message on his Web site to stop the campaign.
Trudeau was in court because an appeals court had thrown out a $37.6 million fine and a three-year infomercial ban against him for violating the terms of a 2004 Federal Trade Commission settlement with his book, "The Weight Loss Cure 'They' Don't Want You to Know About."
Gettleman has yet to decide on a revised punishment.
The 30-day jail sentence was stayed for a day to allow Trudeau to appeal, but he was ordered to forfeit a $50,000 bond.
Trudeau's attorney Kimball Anderson said he was preparing the appeal to try to keep his client out of jail.

James Cameron and his larger-than-life film, “Avatar,” may be front-runners for Oscar gold, but the director said on “Charlie Rose” on Wednesday he’d like to see someone else take home Best Director – Kathryn Bigelow, who also happens to be his ex-wife.
“That would be a fantasy. That would be my fantasy outcome, absolutely,” James said, of Kathryn earning the award for “The Hurt Locker.”
“Happier than if it was Best Director for James Cameron?” Charlie questioned.
“Honestly, yes,” James replied.
The director, who won Best Director for 1997’s Oscar-showered “Titanic,” said he’d like to see “Avatar” honored with Best Picture for the sake of his team.
“Look, for myself, I have already got an Oscar. I’ve got a couple of them, you know… I don’t really need another one,” he explained. “But to… have the team honored and for their accomplishment, that would mean so much to them.”
James added that Kathryn had been involved with the making of “Avatar,” giving him notes throughout its long development.
“She’s come over — and tirelessly come over, watch the film,” he said, explaining that he had, in turn, produced several of her previous films. “We’re so celebratory of each other’s work…. We’ve worked together, and we’ve been supportive colleagues.”
He said when Kathryn asked him for input on “The Hurt Locker,” his notes were “very simple.”
“Don’t change a damn thing,” he said. “This thing is great. It’s consummately good filmmaking.”
Many would say the same about “Avatar,” and while James has stated he’s planning a sequel, he’s also saying now that he’d like to bring the 3-D epic to the page.
“There are things you can do in books that you can’t do in films,” he told The Wall Street Journal in a separate interview earlier in the week, in response to a question regarding a potential written prequel to the box office smash. “I told myself, if it made money, I’d write a book.”
“Avatar” producer Jon Landau went on to tell MTV News that the book could potentially be out by the end of 2010.
