Lindsay Lohan is selling off her possessions for charity. The 'Mean Girls' actress is gutting her home to help her "move forward" emotionally and will sell off the unwanted items to raise funds for good causes. Her mother Dina revealed: "Lindsay's growing up and she's been through a lot. She's trying to move forward. "We're donating a lot of it to charity. Some of it will go on our Website lohanhouse.com."
Dina says a lot of Lindsay's possessions are designer items she has been given for free or exclusive items from showbiz events she has attended. The 47-year-old reality TV star added: "It's not just stuff that she bought. A lot if it is gifted so it's not necessarily stuff she buys. Like, a company will send five pairs of jeans. So we're going to donate items like that." Lindsay - who has an on/off relationship with Samantha Ronson - can't wait to get rid of many of the items and start afresh. The 23-year-old actress said: "There are a lot of people that are there for the wrong reasons. I started to realize a lot more was being taken from me than was given. It became more draining than anything else. In this industry people build you up to knock you down. If everything is in its place then I will be able to breathe.
"The biggest problem is that I have a lot of stuff. I finally have most of it in one place." Video footage recorded by TV show 'The Insider' from inside Lindsay's mansion shows rooms piled high with clothes, boxes of shoes stacked to the ceiling and discarded purchases lying unopened. Lindsay explained to 'Clean House' presenter Neicy Nash: "This is my home. I just want to be much more serene in here and clear."

Is Chris Brown romancing a new R&B diva? He's already collaborated with Keri Hilson musically, and last night, Chris "was all over" Keri at the Axe Lounge at Liv, where Diddy was hosting a bash and where Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush were celebrating the Saints' big Super Bowl win.
A source tells E! News that the two were "grinding each other" on the dance floor, and Chris even made a special request...
"He insisted on her being in a photo with him as well," a source tells us. The two left together, along with a group of friends.
No word from either of their reps, but Keri posted the following on her Twitter: "LMAO paps think they slick!! Gone ask CB & I to tk a pic on carpet then asked da crew if we datin!! LHLAB so, no! I'mma let yall know now :P"
We'll let you decipher for yourself, but that sounds like a denial. Ironically, Liv is the same place Brown's ex-girlfriend Rihanna hosted the Pepsi Refresh party just two nights earlier.

They talk about Benicio already looking Wolf-like, the films plot, how it made Emily feel sick watching it back, Benicio had a team of scratchers on set, and are asked the v.important question "Who would be the leader of the pack between Benicio, Hugh Jackman or Taylor Lautner?" ... well watch and you'll find out!
Benicio gives Rick Edwards some tips as to how to play a convincing "Wolf".
So whose going to go and watch this film?

This morning we spilled the beans that MTV/Paramount is releasing Daria - The Complete Animated Series on DVD this coming May 11th. Since then we've learned that this will be an 8-disc set, and while we haven't been given this collection's specific list price yet, an info sheet we've seen tells retailers that this will be available "at a LOW price - GREAT VALUE" (bolding and underline is quoted from the studio materials). But the best part of that info sheet was an early look at the cover of the package. This may not be final, and could be subject to change, but we thought we should share it with all of you long-patient fans right away!

IDC how "affordable" this is, I'd sell my firstborn to finally get these DVDs. I was wondering if it'd have the movies - not like it really matters, since I already have them on DVD, but still!!!! MAY!!!! It's only 91 days away!!!!!!!!!
Jack Bauer may finally hit the big screen. Though Fox has yet to decide whether to pick up a ninth season of 24, an insider confirmed that the film side is in talks with Billy Ray (State of Play) to write a screenplay for the franchise. Word is the scribe came in and pitched his version of the flick.
Any movement on a film may hinge upon the show’s future with the network; Fox toppers Peter Rice and Kevin Reilly will likely want to see how the show performs over the next few weeks before deciding whether to commit to another season of Bauer racing the clock. Through Jan. 31, 24 is down versus last year by 10% in total viewers (11.9 million versus 13.3 million) and by 15% in adults 18-49 (3.9 versus 4.6). The drama remains Fox’s third-most watched show behind American Idol and House.
A decision is needed soon; a source close to the show said the producers are preparing to write the 23rd and 24th episodes of the current season so they need to know whether to pen a series finale. Production on the drama is scheduled to wrap March 24.

She talks about her driving, her love of Jersey Shore and her new movie Valentine's Day, which looks God awful. Randomness occurs towards the end of the segment when she and Jay throw pies at Carot Top! I think she's gorgeous and has been getting better as an actress lately. Everyone go rent Lymelife.
Btw, Emma has five more movies on her schedule: The Winning Season, Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac, Twelve, 4321, What's Wrong With Virginia?, and It's Kind of a Funny Story.
The woman keeps herself busy.
ONTD, do you plan on seeing Valentine's Day?
Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray will reportedly use old video footage of the pop legend as defence against the manslaughter charges against him.
Lawyers for Dr. Murray want to use footages of a spaced-out Jackson to demonstrate the depth of his drug habit, News of the World reported.
The personal physician is set to stand trial on an involuntary manslaughter charge for administering propofal to Jackson shortly before his death in June last year.
Key videos will include footage of a frail Jackson during his This Is It rehearsals and a 2007 court deposition where he discusses his pain medication.
“Murray’s legal team have quietly but steadily been building a robust defence case. A key element will be on-camera interviews Michael Jackson gave where he discusses and admits his drug use and others where he appears to be intoxicated,” said a legal source close to Dr. Murray.
“In effect, Michael Jackson himself will be the defence’s star witness as they set out to prove he was a seasoned and habitual user and knew how to self-administer,” the source added.
The lawyers also want the pop icon’s children Paris and Prince to describe how their father constantly complemented Dr. Murray and claimed that he was “making him better”.
This is obviously bullshit, but can you even imagine the shitstorm if it were true?
Controversial push for Miss Colombia to get a nose job
Ever since Natalia Navarro was crowned Miss Colombia back in Nov. 2009, she has generated controversy.
Everything from her use of colloquial "street" Spanish to her physical appearance has come under scrutiny in her native Colombia, where beauty pageants and the cult of perfection inspire passionate debate.
But it seems that some are taking their constructive criticism too far. Many followers of the beauty pageant circuit in Colombia have joined together to campaign for Navarro to get a nose job to correct what they see as a larger-than-life schnoz before the Miss Universe competition happens in a few months. Some who are pushing the campaign have even referred to the 21-year old stunner's nose as an "eagle beak."
Navarro has (smartly) declined to go under the knife. On the Colombian television show El Lavadero she said:
"Me han preguntado y entiendo que siempre puedo mejorar, pero a mí me gusta lo natural. Donde todas nos empecemos a operar vamos a quedar igualitas, con eso no estoy de acuerdo. Con esta nariz gané Señorita Colombia, así que seré capaz de cualquier cosa."
"They have asked me and I understand that I can always be better, but I prefer things that are natural. If we all start to get plastic surgery then we will all look the same and that I do have problems with. I won Miss colombia with this nose and I am capable of doing anything just like this."
We respect the way the Barranquilla beauty queen is taking the controversy in stride, but have to question a system where it is acceptable to demand that a woman undergo face altering surgery in the quest to win an essentially meaningless beauty pageant. What Navarro said about plastic surgery is spot on, what makes us all beautiful are all of our little differences.
Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler cool off in the pool as they celebrate her birthday early on Sunday (February 7) in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The actress, who turns 41 on Thursday, has friends including Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Sheryl Crow and Gerry on hand to celebrate and relax in the sun.
On Saturday, a shirtless Gerry and a bikini-clad Jen were spotted out sunbathing in the same area.
Bit of a change from our usual rhythm here, but we thought we'd bring you an exclusive look at this rather charming music video from British artist Charlie Winston (who's massive in France, even though he's yet to become a household name here in the UK). The link? Well, his latest video for I Love Your Smile stars Audrey Tautou, and she makes movies, so it's all totally relevant.
The video's pretty self-explanatory, although Winston says it's about “seeing how wonderful life is and sharing that feeling, simply with a smile”. Also, we think it's about bikes.
The song's out on February 22 (from the album Hobo), and Winston will be on tour around the UK with Newton Faulkner from March 3 - 17. As far as we know, however, Tautou won't be with him.
There is no option to embed the video so if you want to see it check out the source
That makes us very bloody foxy.
Jennifer Aniston opened up to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush about her star-studded 41st birthday celebration, paparazzi on boats and a charity close to her heart, the Friends of El Faro organization. The multi-part interview will begin airing on Access Hollywood on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.
Bush was with Aniston in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where she was celebrating her 41st birthday at the One & Only Palmilla resort with friends, which included Courteney Cox, Jason Bateman, Sheryl Crow, Kathy Najimy and Gerard Butler.
The paparazzi were out in full force, but Aniston and her friends were not letting them ruin the celebration.
“Our gang, our party has been holding up these mirrors in support of helping to sort of disrupt their photographs,” said Aniston.
When Bush asked how turning 41 felt, Aniston joked that they don’t say the number out loud. When Bush joked back and asked how turning 31 felt, Aniston said, “Thirty-one, pssh. It’s quite lovely I have to say. 30 was a hump but you know 31 is fabulous. It really does get better doesn’t it?”
When the topic turned to fellow guest Gerard Butler, who stars with Aniston in the upcoming action comedy “The Bounty Hunter,” Aniston said that they had a great time working together.

Here’s a question that would’ve left Einstein scratching his head: Is Big Bang Theory brainiac Sheldon straight? Gay? Asexual? According to executive producer Chuck Lorre, “other” may be the best way to describe him.
“His entire focus is on the work that he’s doing — theoretical physics,” explains Lorre. “‘Alternate reality’ is another way of looking at it. Characters like Sheldon are drawn to an alternate reality that might be more comforting than the ones they live in. And why modify that? Why not let the character be that unique?”

Is it a surprise to anyone actually watching MTV that the network on Monday quietly dropped "Music Television" from its logo? Probably not. It's a wonder that anyone even noticed the difference.
But a difference there is. For the first time in the network's 29-year history, MTV has decided to give the channel's iconic logo a face-lift.
"The people who watch it today, they don't refer to MTV as music television. They don't have the same emotional connection that, say, the people who are writing about [the logo change] do," MTV's head of marketing Tina Exarhos said. Indeed, The Wrap called it "a minor change with major symbolism," while The Hollywood Reporter wrote having "music television" in the old logo was "a constant reminder that MTV was branding itself one way, programming itself another."

Beyonce Knowles has a new half-brother -- if you believe Alexsandra Wright.
Wright -- who filed a paternity suit against Mathew Knowles back in October -- gave birth last Thursday to a baby boy. The name ... Nixon. Priceless.
Wright -- who once appeared on "Scrubs" -- claims she had a relationship with Knowles that lasted 18 months. And, sources say, Wright claims she and Mathew picked out the baby name together. We're guessing they were watching "Frost/Nixon."
Sources tell us Wright has a court date next week in an attempt to dislodge some support money from Mathew. We're told Alexsandra hasn't gotten a penny from Mathew for the baby.
Mathew Knowles rep tells TMZ, "We are not aware of the birth of a child. Mr. Knowles has never had a DNA test. These rumors are untrue."
When you watch the new trailer, the story is much more than that. Seyfried not only takes hold of the husband, but gives a taste to the wife as well. However, I'm thinking that Seyfried's character might have more than a few screws loose.
Not gonna lie, I love me some cray-cray Amanda. I hope she does more dark roles in the future.
Also, on a more personal note: PEACE OUT, ONTD! THIS WILL BE MY LAST POST FOR A WHILE~

What appears to be a photo of Madonna from the set of her fall 2009 Louis Vuitton campaign before retouching has emerged. The source is unclear, and Sassybella wonders if it's real, but professional retouchers tell us it sure looks it. Also, photos of Madonna before retouching leak all the time. Like this from her now-famous W shoot with Jesus Luz, or these from her Hard Candy album. Hell, Google "Madonna unretouched" and all kinds of stuff comes up. By comparison, this is one of her more flattering "before" shots. And at least she's always wrinkle-free. We just can't imagine why the Vuitton people felt the need to minimize her biceps, which are such a nice contrast to the noodle model arms we always see.
wouldn't it have been cheaper to just paint the ad?

She already wrote two New York Times bestsellers and, soon, Kate Gosselin could have a third on her hands.
The reality star is scheduled to release I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith and Family on April 13 by Zondervan Publishers. The personal book will feature prayers, excerpts from her journal and eight individual letters addressed to each one of her children.
"Each day the thought crosses my mind that when they get older, my kids are going to look back and think about how they were raised," Gosselin says in a statement. "I know they will have a lot of questions about things that may not make sense because they were raised so unconventionally. I don’t want them to grow up and wonder; I want them to know without a shadow of a doubt how much I love them and how much every sacrifice made was worth it for them."
In addition to the book, Gosselin is in production on a new television show for TLC. Her previous nonfiction works include Multiple Blessings and Eight Little Faces.
I hope she sells exactly 0 copies.
With 'The Wolfman' terrorizing its way into theaters Friday, we couldn't help but wonder whether or not the film's producers really needed to shell out for all those expensive CGI effects on Benicio Del Toro. We're in a recession, after all, and there are plenty of actors in Hollywood who are more than hairy enough to fit the 'Wolfman' bill without all the costly add-ons.

'Dawn of War'
A man who owns 177,000 shares of Playboy stock filed a class action accusing Hugh Hefner of rejecting two good offers for the company because of "Hefner's insistence of maintaining the lifestyle to which he has grown accustomed." Hefner is majority shareholder in Playboy, and rebuffed the offers though they were made "at a significant premium as Playboy's stock price continues to deteriorate," according to the complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Lead plaintiff David Brown says he owns 47,000 shares of Playboy Class A stock and 130,000 share of Class B stock. Hefner owns nearly 70 percent of the Class A shares, which are the only ones with voting rights, and nearly 30 percent of the Class B shares, Brown says. He claims Hefner breached his "duties of care, loyalty and good faith to Playboy's minority shareholders ... by placing his personal interests above and ahead of the interests of the other shareholders and to their detriment."
The class claims that "within the last six months Hefner has scuttled two attempts by potential suitors, Iconix Brand Management ('Iconix') and Golden Gate Capital ('Golden Gate') to acquire all or parts of Playboy at a significant premium as Playboy's stock price continues to deteriorate."
Then follows a sentence that, ironically or not, quotes a common statement used in divorce and alimony proceedings: "According to published reports, one of the main reasons why these deals failed was Hefner's insistence on maintaining the lifestyle to which he has grown accustomed."
Playboy shares sold as high as $36 "in its 1999 heyday," but have fallen from around $10 in early 2008 to "as low as $1.06," according to the complaint. It adds that Playboy lost $156 million in 2008, and another $23.5 million in the first 9 months of 2009.
Brown claims that suitors, so to speak, have offered more than $300 million - "three times the company's market capitalization" at its "beaten down" stock price - but Hefner, 81, rejected them.
Citing a panoply of media reports, the complaint claims, among other things, that Hef complicated the negotiations by insisting that he can live at the Playboy Mansion until he dies, and that he continue to play some role in the company.
The suit laments, "Today, the price of a Playboy magazine is far higher than the price of Playboy common stock."
In 1999, the stock sold for US$36 a share.
Today, Playboy closed at $US3.14. The magazine sells for $US5.99.
My surprise, let me show you it. Of COURSE Hef wants to keep his lifestyle. I hope this post gets full of lulzy Girl Next Door gifs. What do you think, ONTD, will Playboy ever cease to exist one day? I'm shocked that it's doing so shitty. Oh, and I apologize for the source; every other source was either He Who Shall Not Be Named or some legal website. I went with the legal website.
Twilight To Be Taught in Cambridge Literature Class
Soon, students at Cambridge University will be getting a new supplement to their educations: books from Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight series.
According to BBC News, a newly-opened Cambridge center for the study of children’s literature (they call it a “centre,” naturally) will cover, among other things, Twilight, the Harry Potter series, and video games as works of literature.
In an interview, the soon-to-be director of the center/centre dismissed suggestions that Twilight and other contemporary series are “trash,” and even said that academics had something to learn about the ethical development of young people from children’s series and video games:
Professor Maria Nikolajeva, who will be the centre’s first director, said it was important to get an understanding of what was influencing young people.
She said: “It’s easy to say that these things are just kids’ fashions or that they’re trash, but I don’t believe that’s good enough.
“If what we regard as trash is popular with young people, we need to know why and whether, as researchers and teachers, we can offer them something that addresses the same needs but also deals with these themes in a critical and ethical way.”
She added many trainee teachers did not understand the significance of the latest children’s books or films when they went into the classroom.
“Studying this can help us deal with questions which are important not only for the children themselves, but for adults as well,” she added.

The afternoon syndicated chat show scene has been shaken up by a Turkish-American Harvard grad who combines Western medicine with ideas and theory from the East, and that fact has many of Dr. Mehmet Oz's peers crying foul over his message.
The National Enquirer published an exclusive that claims many Doctors are raising red flags over Dr. Oz's wife's practice of Reiki healing, a Japanese energy theory that involves the practitioner running their hands over a body to help channel and correct energy fields.
Bunk say some. "One part of Dr. Oz is highly rational and scientific, but I think he's also loaded with near-delusional ideas and gives some very bad advice," said Dr. Stephen Barrett, a North Carolina-based psychiatrist who is vice president of the National Council Against Health Fraud, and co-author of The Health Robbers: A Close Look at Quackery in America, exclusively to the National Enquirer.
"The bottom line for me is that he does more harm than good for American health."

Last week the annual Bergen Gay Galla was held, and various awards were presented to persons and institutions that have contributed to the gay community in Bergen, Norway.
The most prestigious award was given to Kristian Espedal (a.k.a. Gaahl). The former GORGOROTH vocalist was named "Homosexual Of The Year" and accepted the award in person.
"I don't need an award to be myself. But if this can help other people in the same scene as me, it's a positive thing," Gaahl told local newspaper Bergensavisen.
Gaahl, 34, is involved in a relationship with 19-year-old Robin Jakobsen (pictured below with Gaahl).
When asked how he met his current partner, Gaahl said, "It was after closing time. I was at Fincken (gay bar in Bergen). Robin came to the club to look for his former boyfriend. I was buzzed on white wine, and suddenly I saw a glowing figure in the door. That was Robin. I thought to myself that he must be mine."
Was it love at first sight?
"No…I had to work a little for it."
Were people surprised when you came out as a homosexual?
"I think it's strange that it wasn't known before, but I never had a need to go public with it. Finally a German journalist had the guts to ask the question, and I answered him. It wasn't any more painful than that."
She talked about her clothing line back in October and said, “Growing up in Texas, I was sort of close-minded and kind of a tomboy, but as I’ve travelled, I found such a love of clothes. It’s really always been a dream of mine to have a line.”
What do you think of the line so far?
Times sure have changed for '80s heartthrob Andrew McCarthy. While penning a piece for travel magazine AFAR, the actor was detained at gunpoint after entering an Ethiopian church without proper documentation.
According to PEOPLE, the actor, who found himself without his paperwork while visiting the historic Lalibela church in Ethiopia's Amhara Region, was confronted by an armed guard. "His gun [was] pointed at my back," McCarthy writes. "I thought his reaction to my offense was extreme; I tried to say as much. He grunted something in Amharic and prodded me with the tip of his rifle."
After being escorted from the church, McCarthy was helped to safety by residents of the town.
Despite the alarming incident, the actor maintained his sense of humor, saying it was "just the kind of thing that happens when you show up alone in a distant country without a plan."
Been crushing on him since the 80's and would still hit it like a screen door in a hurricane.
Michael Lander's psychological thriller Peacock is heading direct-to-DVD via Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Starring Ellen Page and Cillian Murphy, the film went before cameras in 2008 for Mandate Pictures.

Look for it on shelves April 20.

* Has any or does anyone have a current picture of him and his family? The last one I found was from May '09. I know that him and Laura Dern keep a pretty low profile but from what I remember they have a beautiful family and I was wondering what they're up to now.

Anne Hathaway, who was among the stars hitting the red carpet in Hollywood last night for the premiere of Valentine's Day, says in the new British GQ that her family left the Catholic Church over its intolerant views on homosexuality.
Anne grew up wanting to become a nun but shunned Catholicism when she learned her older brother, Michael, was gay.
"The whole family converted to Episcopalianism after my elder brother came out," she tells the magazine. "Why should I support an organization that has a limited view of my beloved brother?"
But the Episcopal church plan didn't really work out for her either. "So I'm ... nothing," she said. "I'm a work in progress."
Some sad news from an Oscar-winning actor.
Louis Gossett Jr., who took home the golden prize in 1982 for An Officer and a Gentleman, announced today that he's been diagnosed with the early stages of prostate cancer.
The 73-year-old claims he wants the world to know in order "to set an example for the large number of African-American men who are victims of this disease because of the comparatively low emphasis in our community on preventative examinations and early treatment," he told KTLA News in Los Angeles. "I want to influence them to seek, as I have, the fine medical care and early detection now available."
Here's hoping he has a speedy recovery.
It looks like that suspicious tweet from one of Kim Kardashian's friends Friday night claiming that she and Reggie Bush got engaged at Miami restaurant Prime 112 this past Friday night was indeed TRUE!
Our source, who was in Miami for the Super Bowl festivities, tells YBF that the owner of the restaurant himself, Myles Chefetz, confirmed it last night.
Owner Myles (who also owns Nemo, Prime Italiano, and 2 other Miami restaurants) made his “check on the patrons” rounds to all the tables last night as many owners do. When he stopped at his friend Ludacris‘ table where our source was sitting, Myles told the table that Reggie and Kim had just gotten engaged on Friday!
Mr. Chefetz even dished the details to Luda’s table: Reggie popped the question in a private corner of the restaurant with both his and Kim’s family there.
In the pics of the couple leaving the restaurant Friday, it was obvious that Kim was hiding her left hand. And Reggie was even caught checking her hand, possibly to see if it was covered. Kim “publicity hog” Kardashian keeping this a secret is a miracle. But she’s likely holding off on officially announcing the news because it’s her Super Bowl champ man’s time to shine. Or she’s just holding off for the highest bidder to pay her for the full story.
Either way, looks like Kim’s much expressed wish has come true. Maybe Kim’s second time getting married will be the charm. Congrats to the couple.
It all began with a father, his sons and a love of choppers (custom-designed motorcycles). NEW YORK — Rap star Lil Wayne has gotten a temporary reprieve from jail — for dental surgery.

His sentencing is now set for March 2, and a judge says it won't be put off further.

Jack White has been no stranger to the world of classic country in recent years, and now he may be back at it again. In a recent interview with Spinner, Dolly Parton confirmed that she is considering taking on White as the producer of her next studio album.
White won two Grammy's for his work on Loretta Lynn's 2004 album, Van Lear Rose. The White Stripes frontman also made headlines back in November when Wanda "The Queen of Rockabilly" Jackson confirmed he would helm her next studio release.
The news broke when Parton was asked if she would ever consider a project similar to that of American Recordings by Johnny Cash, in which Cash worked with several big name produces outside of the country genre.
"Well, I have been approached by Jack White" she replied. "I've thought about doing it with [Jack]. He seems to be a fan but who knows. You never know what I might do."
Never one to rest on his laurels, White also recently announced that the Dead Weather will embark on a second tour this spring, which will kick off on April 15 at theFillmore in San Fransisco
Television plot lines are not supposed to be determined by majority vote.
That shouldn't be a controversial statement, but an interesting little mini-controversy that has broken out over last night's episode of NBC's Chuck -- a show with a small but madly devoted audience -- suggests that at least some fans are viewing themselves more and more as shareholders who get to vote on the outcome, Choose Your Own Adventure-style.
In short, last night, spy-nerd Chuck and his on-again, off-again love interest Sarah, who are currently not together for a combination of professional and personal reasons, decided to let each other go and embarked on new relationships with other people. This, predictably, has set off the show's "shippers." (As we've discussed before, these are the people whose enjoyment of a show hinges entirely on the progress of a romantic couple.)

Over the decades on Lost, there has been a constant battle for control of the island. Whether it's been the Dharma Initiative or the Hostiles, one constant has remained: Richard Alpert (Nestor Carbonell). With a Richard-centric episode on the horizon, TVGuide.com spoke to Carbonell about all the things we we will find out about his character: where he came from, why he doesn't age and whether he might finally take control of the island.

A reader sent in this exclusive clip of Rihanna taking a long ride on a mechanic bull during a recent night out at New York nightclub Johnny Utah's. Judging by those sweet bull-riding moves, and the Kings of Leon's whiskey-soaked "Sex on Fire" soundtrack, and the hilarious lady who keeps yelling "You Go, Girl!" in the background, it looks like we've got ourselves a Good Girl Gone Bad... Gone Country (for one night at least).

On this Tuesday, lots of female casting bites are hitting the net:
First, Rachel Weisz has found her next gig. Variety reports that she's signed on to star with Daniel Craig and Naomi Watts in Jim Sheridan's Dream House. Craig and Weisz play a couple who move from Gotham to a New England town, and then discover that a mother and her two children were murdered in their new home. Watts plays the neighbor who knew the family, and Toronto is standing in for New England as production kicked off on Sunday.
And the rest of the goodies come from a post over at Deadline Hollywood Daily:
Cate Blanchett has signed onto Hanna, the Saoirse Ronan film that just cast Eric Bana. There's no mention of who she will play, but the film focuses on a CIA-bred killer 14-year-old girl "hellbent on finding her father, and uses the survival skills she learned from him on anybody who gets in her way."
Amber Tamblyn, meanwhile, has grabbed a starring lead opposite James Franco in Danny Boyle's 127 Hours. You know -- the story of the man who got his arm caught whilst rock climbing and had to saw it off himself to survive. Tamblyn will play his girlfriend in memories that get him through the ordeal.
Finally, we've got our Jane Eyre. Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) has signed, after circling the production last November with Michael Fassbender. As for the Fish Tank star, there hasn't been official word following last year's announcement, but he seems to be signed on, which probably means a no-go for Wuthering Heights and Andrea Arnold. But it does allow him to get his May-December groove on again, moving from a young character named Mia who falls for him in Fish Tank, to all-out romance with the next youngin' Mia in Jane Eyre.
I'd rather see Fassy as Mr. Rochester, myself--Heathcliff's become sort of cliche, especially thanks to Twilight. :P
Never ones to keep their family drama private, Dina and Michael Lohan were spotted going to court against each other on Tuesday (February 9).
“It’s almost been a year without child support,” Dina said after a closed door meeting in Nassau County Family Court in Nassau, New York.
Lindsay Lohan’s parents have been squabbling over court-ordered child support payments and while it’s still unclear how much Michael owes, TMZ is reporting that it’s more than $15,000.
After the meeting, Michael told the Daily News the sitdown was peaceful. “I knew there was a reason why I married that woman,” he said. “Dina and I walked out a hell of a lot better than when we walked in. It was very amicable. Everything is going to be resolved so we can move forward. These are my kids and Dina’s their mother,” he said.

Biff! Bam! Boom!
Imitating Super Bowl hero Drew Brees, rifle-armed David Letterman fired a pass to his show's stage manager Monday that sent him to the hospital.
"I caught it," Biff Henderson declared weakly after snagging the spiral and falling off the stage almost into in the laps of stunned "Late Show" audience members.
The crew were killing time, waiting for Brees, the New Orleans Saints quarterback, to arrive and tossing the pigskin when Henderson, 63, took his tumble.
Before he knew Henderson was hurt, Letterman quipped, "I can smell a lawsuit."
But he turned grim when Henderson complained he couldn't move one of his knees.
"They cut the cameras and and the band played for about 20 minutes and that's how we all knew it was serious." said Sheva Oliver, 29, from Rockland County.
Medics soon arrived and wheeled Henderson out, strapped to a gurney.
"We all cheered for him as he left," she said.
"Dave looked upset," said Fred Kaplan, 63 from The Bronx. "Biff looked alert and waved to us from the gurney."
Brees, who was hung up in Lincoln Tunnel traffic, arrived as Henderson ambulance was being put into the ambulance to Roosevelt Hospital.
Henderson was treated in the ER Monday night and released.
Back inside the Ed Sullivan theater, as things settled down, one fan said Letterman told the crowd: "The show must go on."
And it did.
I don’t even know what to say with this. Here is Lindsay Lohan’s cover for the Spring/Summer issue of the French magazine Purple. Is Lindsay trying to be controversial? Like, I call this piece of art “The Crackhead on the Cross”. Maybe she has no idea what she’s doing. Maybe the photographer (Terry Richardson) was just like “put your arms out straight, like you just got pulled over for driving under the influence.” And Lindsay replied, “I drunk not, oss-ifer. Ima Jesus!”
Lindsay Lohan is on the cover of another magazine, this time it’s French fashion magazine Purple.
Since it’s supposed to be more of an edgy magazine or something, Terry Richardson shot Lindsay as Jesus with her outstretched arms and a crown of thorns. So shocking!
And we mean that, too. It’s pretty shocking that this is the first time in a while Linds didn’t even have to show her boobs for a fashion spread.
And Lindsay’s Jesus dress-up fun isn’t all that’s going on in her cluttered life today. There’s also talk that Sam Ronson allegedly abused her, Jessica Alba says Lindsay never hooked up with her husband, Cash Warren,
and Linds took to her Twitter to try to convince us she doesn’t use lip injections. In other words, it’s just a normal day for Lindsay.
Autopsy: Jackson had vitiligo, wore wig
Singer weighed 136 pounds at death, had tattoos near brows, lips
LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson's full autopsy report was released following the filing of involuntary manslaughter charges on Monday against the singer's personal doctor. Following are some notable or new highlights of the Los Angeles County Coroner's report into Jackson's June 25 death.
--Jackson died of "acute propofol intoxication" administered at a level equivalent to that used during anesthesia for "major surgery". A consultant anesthesiologist said there were "no reports of its use in insomnia relief."
--None of the recommended monitoring, precision dosing or resuscitation equipment was present in Jackson's room.
--Jackson had the skin pigmentation disorder vitiligo, with white patches particularly on his chest, abdomen, face and arms.
--The hair on Jackson's head was described initially by police as "sparse and connected to a wig." The autopsy revealed "frontal balding".
--A bandage was present on the tip of Jackson's nose.
--A closed bottle of urine was found on a chair in the bedroom where the singer died, along with a box of catheters, disposable needles, alcohol pads, several empty orange juice bottles, a string of wooden beads and a green oxygen tank.
--On Aug 6, a month before his burial, police went to the mortuary where his body was being held to collect hair samples for toxicology tests. The casket was described as yellow with a blue lining and Jackson was wearing a long, dark wig. "Moving the wig revealed short, dark, curly natural hair...measuring approximately one and a half inches in length."
--Jackson's body was covered with small scars on his nose, knee, shoulder, neck, wrists, and behind both ears.
--He had dark tattoos near both eyebrows and a small pink tattoo near his lips.
--His body weighed 136 pounds, was 69 inches long, and was described as "thin."

When you are working on a television show the hours are very long and people get to know each other very well. Some get to know each other even more than normal. This new hit network show is one of my favorites and if you have seen it then it is probably one of yours also. Well, on the show there is a C list actor who really has a B list body of work. He is married and has been for awhile. Also on the show is an actress who is much, much younger than our actor but it hasn't stopped them from spending every free moment together in his trailer. She is legal. Barely.

SHANGHAI (AFP) – Houston Rockets star Yao Ming was due back in Shanghai on Tuesday to celebrate Chinese New Year with his family for the first time since joining the NBA eight years ago, his spokesman said.
The basketball superstar will spend most of his time with his family and attend charity events before returning to the United States at the end of the month, his spokesman Zhang Chi told AFP.
"I'm packing today. Flying to China early Monday for Chinese New Year, my first time back for it since signing w/Rockets," Yao wrote on his Twitter feed before boarding an 18-hour flight from Houston to Shanghai.
Yao broke his foot in an NBA play-off game against the Los Angeles Lakers last May and is sitting out the entire 2009-2010 NBA season as he recovers.
The centre has said he plans to return to the Rockets next season, but will not be able to play for China at this year's World Championships, which open in late August.

Great news, General Hospital fans! The opening credits sequence, which has remained largely unchanged since 2004, will soon be updated. Come February 23rd, GH will debut a brand new opening -- and just in time for the show's 12,000th episode, too.
Much as we love the current sequence, it does throw us off bit to see so many characters (Alan! Ned! Dillon! Alcazar! Justus!) and actors (Greg Vaughan!) who aren't on the show anymore. Plus, it'd be nice to let the women in on the fun too, right?
Look for the cast members featured to be updated and for a whole new design.
Which newer GH cast members are you looking forward to seeing in the new credits? Will you be sad to see the current ones go?
Brought to you by mad as hell lulu
I am so excited because i'm sick of seeing 20 dead characters in the opening lol
Poor Penelope Cruz to Work With Lars von Trier
Multiple sources are reporting that Lars von Trier — the director prone to making female leads hang themselves, sell their bodies in shipyards, and scissor off their privates — let slip in a Danish TV interview that he's cast Penélope Cruz in his next movie, Melancholia, which is being described as both a "psychological drama and a disaster movie." What did she ever do to anybody?
Now that Heroes has finished season 4, the ball is in NBC's court about renewing it for yet another season. Given NBC's recent track record of decision-making, we suspect Heroes will be renewed for another five seasons right after The Biggest Loser is expanded to three-hour episodes.
But this is a very bad idea. Despite ending with "To Be Continued," the start of Volume 6 is as good as any place to end the series. Keeping Heroes on the air is a deadly mistake NBC should avoid at all costs. Here are just five of the best reasons we can think of to cancel Heroes right now.
1. The Ratings Are Terrible
If NBC wants to get out of the gutter, keeping Heroes isn't the way to do it. It's rare for a show to have such a disastrous decline in the ratings, but numbers don't lie. Here is the average number of viewers per episode of the four seasons of Heroes.
Season 1: 13.86 million
Season 2: 11.46 million
Season 3: 7.81 million
Season 4: 5.24 million
Or to put it in graph form:
In case you're bad at math, that's an 8.5 million viewer drop from season 1 to the current season, making Heroes one of NBC's lowest rated shows.

Word is, Nas is looking to have his Kelis tattoo removed. I, for one, am not a fan of names or people (other than my children) being tattooed on my body or anybody else's body for that matter. How you think today is definitely not how you're going to think tomorrow is my motto! So why even bother? Why take that chance and mark your body up for life when you don't know what tomorrow brings? I'm guessing Nas is kicking himself in the ass for that huge Kelis tattoo he has on his arm with breasts hanging out and all. ;-)
According to Media Take Out, Nas will be flying to and from L.A. to receive treatments to remove the unwanted tattoo.

David Tennant approached by bosses to star in Doctor Who movie
Actor David Tennant has reportedly been approached by bosses to star in a Doctor Who movie.
The 38-year-old star left his role as the famous TV doctor in scenes shown in the UK at the beginning of the year.
His former co-star Billie Piper revealed in a radio interview that he is lined up for a movie adaptation.
She said: 'I've heard they're doing a film and I know they want David to do it.
'I think David's slightly anxious that there'll be some big American producers on board and that they'll try to hijack the whole thing and cast someone like Johnny Depp.'

With 'Oranges,' Hugh Laurie of 'House' (and possibly 'Gossip Girl' Leighton Meester) could take the film plunge
It can be a crapshoot when TV actors step from the small screen into features; for every George Clooney or Steve Carell, there's a Zach Braff or Katherine Heigl.
But a buzzed-about new movie called "Oranges" may be trying exactly that. The project, a dark dramatic comedy about an older man who has an affair with the daughter of a family friend, has been on Hollywood's radar for several years now. Back in 2008, the Jay Reiss-Ian Helfer script landed on the Black List, the grouping of the entertainment industry's most desired screenplay.
Now the project may have another claim to fame: It could mark the first lead feature role for Hugh Laurie, who plays Dr. Gregory House on the hit Fox medical series.

How's this for some shocking news for your Tuesday morning?! Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Christopher Nolan has agreed to develop a SUPERMAN reboot at Warner Bros! Nolan, it appears, will not write or direct the film but will be actively involved in "mentoring" the production and acting as a "godfather" so-to-speak to the creative team. Deadline is referring to the film as SUPERMAN 3.0 though it's likely that's just a cheeky reference to this being the third time the franchise has been started.
As they stress, and I would like to reiterate, this SUPERMAN project is in the very nascent stages of development. While the film would "definitely not" be any kind of follow-up to SUPERMAN RETURNS, they claim that neither director Bryan Singer or star Brandon Routh have been giving their walking papers yet. They claim that there really isn't a plan yet for what they want to do just an agreement that Nolan will be helping them do it.
Their report also includes word that Nolan has officially hatched his concept for the third BATMAN movie and that David Goyer and Jonah Nolan are busy working on the script.

When the Moviefone staff started trying to name the worst romantic comedies of all time, the discussion quickly got heated. Is The Sweetest Thing a crass, tasteless mess or an underrated gem? What's worse, Swept Away or Who's That Girl? Which is the worst Freddie Prinze, Jr. rom-com of all time? And are we remiss not to have a single Lindsay Lohan vehicle make the final cut?
We're sure you'll have your own strong reaction to our list, especially if you worship Kate Hudson and Dane Cook. (Note to Hollywood: That is not a suggestion to pair these two up. Thank you.)
Don't get us wrong, when rom-coms are great, they're great, but more often than not these days, they're very, very bad. We have to take it on faith that Female Star and Male Star are destined to be together because the script says so, not because they have anything resembling chemistry. We have to endure ridiculous set-ups, annoying characters and, ever since 'There's Something About Mary,' new heights (or rather, lows) in gross-out humor. Can we get a little actual romance here? And maybe a few laughs that aren't because we're cringing in horror?

Farrah Fawcett’s afterlife has had more twists and turns than a Hollywood thriller: law suits, a battle over her fortune, son Redmond’s drug battle and a disturbing admission from her one-time love Ryan O’Neal, that he hit on his daughter Tatum, at the late Charlie’s Angel’s funeral.
But this could be the sickest twist yet.
Online celebrity sales site www.hunkwithjunk.com is offering what it purports to be a lock of Farrah’s famous golden hair -- for one thousand dollars.
“For real, this one time novelty item from 1970's,” the site’s description reads.
“Sadly takes on new meaning after the passing of our beloved Angel! Here and available for a limited time only!”
Even more frightening, the bold suggestion that the DNA contained inside the hair could be used to clone your very own Farrah.
“Someday the technology will be available, and you might be able to create your very own angel,” it says.
RadarOnline.com contacted Farrah’s former hair dresser and friend of more than two-decades, Mela Murphy, who described the sale as “scary”.
“Who would it be?”, a shocked Murphy questioned, unsure how the locks, if at all authentic, became to be a for sale item.
“Wow, I am stunned. I hope this person is not trying to be funny.”
First Elvis' hair is sold, then Michael Jackson's, now Farrah's? God damn, stop being creepy, people.

Lawyers for Michael Jackson's estate have fired back at Joe Jackson's request for MJ's medical records in order for Joe to sue a news outlet over death photos.
Joe claims a published photo of an already dead Michael Jackson is an invasion of the family's privacy. As we first reported, although Joe didn't name the news outlet, "Entertainment Tonight" aired a photo of Jackson -- whom paramedics believed was already dead -- as he was taken into an ambulance from his home.
Joe's lawyer, Brian Oxman, asked the judge last Friday to dislodge MJ's UCLA medical records so he can prepare the lawsuit.
But in papers filed today, estate lawyer Howard Weitzman claims Oxman is all wet -- that Oxman misstated the law in legal docs and that UCLA medical records are totally irrelevant to a death photo lawsuit.
Weitzman also claims the physician/patient privilege prohibits the estate from anteing up the med records.

I don't like Snickers but I LOVE this commercial. The Abe and Betty one is unreal too, but Aretha and Liza are preciously perfect princesses.
The story of Sleeping Beauty seems to be undergoing something of a renaissance between recent rumours that Tim Burton would bring his skewed viewpoint to the story and now word that The Uninvited’s Emily Browning has stepped into the lead role for a decidedly different take.
Despite its fantasy moniker, this is not a kids’ film – written by Julia Leigh, the script follows a student who ends up entering the world of prostitution and finds her calling as a woman who services men wanting someone who sleeps through the sexual experience.
It sounds like the plot of a fetish porn film, but the screenplay landed among Hollywood’s favourites on the 2008 Black List. Alice In Wonderland’s Mia Wasikowska had been attached to the lead, but she’s now dropped out and Browning has stepped in, much as she did for Amanda Seyfried in Sucker Punch.
Leigh will make the film her directorial debut and plans to kick off shooting next month in Australia.
