Boo, I can't believe it's the season finale already, it's totally my guilty pleasure show. =(
Who else went in with the mindset of hating it because of the kickass movie and ended up loving it anyway? xD
Singer Lisa Loeb and her husband Roey Hershkovitz are going to be parents, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
"They're excited to welcome their first child this winter," says Loeb's manager Janet Billig Rich.
Loeb, 41, and Hershkovitz , 31, a music production supervisor for The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, met in 2006 at a business meeting and were engaged last November.
Their winter wonderland-themed wedding, featuring all-white centerpieces and tiny deer figurines, was held at Manhattan restaurant Brasserie 8½ in January.
The singer, who wore a pink wedding gown by Amsale Blue Label as she exchanged vows with Hershkovitz in front of 275 guests, told PEOPLE the evening was "the most fun night ever."
Loeb launched her career in 1994 with the number one single "Stay (I Missed You)." She heads up her own non-profit, The Camp Lisa Foundation, which helps underprivileged children attend summer camp.
Would you buy your daughter a pole-dancing doll?
Gizmodo has an item about a new doll. Does it burp? Does it breastfeed? Nope. It dances. On a pole.
If anyone was wondering if the world was doomed, here is your confirmation.
The scoop on this new plaything came from Gizmodo's Jesus Diaz, and features a somewhat grainy photo of a doll in a shiny dress hanging on a pole. A giant heart emblazoned with the word "Pole Dance" is at the top. The box promises "Style." "Interesting." "Music." "Flash." "Up and Down." "Go Round and Round." It might've said "Ewww," "Gross," "Criminal"," but in all likelihood the upstanding manufacturers ran out of room.
No mention is made of inserting money anywhere.
In an email message, Diaz told us today: "As far as I can tell, it's a real product. It didn't seem PhotoShopped to me. It feels more like the typical Chinese-made product you can only find in low cost stores."
We were unable to confirm the actual existence of this product. Google searches turn up nothing more than references to the Gizmodo item. So perhaps there is some hope for the planet.
Then again, maybe not.
In case you haven't noticed, pole-dancing has become mainstream. Miley Cyrus' recent performance on the Teen Choice Awards on August 10th generated a lot of controversy.
Going back three years, there was an uproar over a real pole-dancing product that some felt was being marketed as a children's toy. In 2006, the Peekaboo Pole Dancing Kit was pulled from the toy section of a British store after a public outcry. The kit included fake money, a garter, instructional DVD and of course, a pole.
Even if the Pole Dance doll turns out to be fake, the real problem is how easy it is to believe that it's real. So when anyone says that the pole that Miley Cyrus danced around was not a stripper pole, they're wrong.
Let's face it, stripping has become mainstream. Does this mean that little girls who catch a glimpse of Cyrus will grow up and pursue pole-dancing as a profession? Hopefully not. If kids always became what they pretended to be when they were young, we'd be a nation of astronauts, fairy princesses and super heroes.
That said, sexualizing childhood is bad news from the get go. Little girls should not be learning that doing a sexy dance is a way to entertain?
What is The Freaking Big Push?
The Freaking Big Push is a massive campaign directed at Warner Brothers to demonstrate our love for the show and convince the WB to bring it back. According to a loyal, anonymous source, there is talk of a DVD movie. It’s our objective to convince the WB to make sure this happens. The campaign is broken down into various missions which will each launch on a specific date throughout the month. We can’t stress enough how important it is that everyone do these things on the same day. The only way to make a real impact is with strong numbers, pushing each avenue together on a daily basis, together.
So the question is...will you join us?

Actress Sandra Bullock purchases home in New Orleans' Garden District
by Rebecca Mowbray, The Times-Picayune
Actress Sandra Bullock, who has donated generously to Warren Easton Senior High School since Hurricane Katrina, has purchased a historic home in the Garden District from entrepreneur John Russell Lee Sr., whose I CAN Learn educational software was at the center of the Mose Jefferson trial.
( Collapse )
Since Hurricane Katrina, Bullock has become a major patron of Warren Easton, the first public high school for boys in Louisiana. The school, which dates to 1845 and survived going co-ed and desegregating, was having trouble opening after Hurricane Katrina because the storm caused $4 million in damages at the brick Canal Street building where it has operated since 1913.
( Collapse )
Since then, Bullock has donated several hundred thousand dollars to the school, helping to renovate the school's auditorium, buying new Fighting Eagle band uniforms, chipping in for scholarships and helping to fund a new health clinic. "She liked what she heard. That's how it all started," Hardy said.
In being inducted into Warren Easton's hall of fame in May, shortly before buying the house, Bullock said she was "embarrassed" by the federal government's slow response after Katrina and felt compelled to help the city.
Bullock has called her donations to Warren Easton "the best investment I ever made." She said she wanted to invest in a school, and Easton's history and architecture caught her attention. "This school is an architectural gem. It gives the kids a sense of pride."
Other notable charitable tidbits:
- When the September 11th, 2001 attacks occurred, Bullock was staying at the Soho Grand Hotel - during filming of "Two Weeks Notice" -, twelve blocks from the World Trade Center. She saw the attacks from her hotel bedroom window and went to a nearby hospital to offer help. As all phone lines in New York City were down, she spent the rest of the day using her Palm Pilot to send e-mails on behalf of patients wanting to contact their families.
- In the days after Hurricane Katrina, she was often seen at the Austin convention center, helping evacuees get food, clothing and shelter.
- Donated $1 million to the American Red Cross to help the relief efforts following the September 11 attacks
- Donated $1 million to the American Red Cross to help the relief efforts following the Indonesian Tsunami in 2004
- Donated $1 million to the American Red Cross to help the relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina in 2005

On September 11, 2003, Ritter died from an aortic dissection stemming from a previously undiagnosed congenital heart defect. The day that the Three's Company star died was Stella's fifth birthday, the day before Yasbeck's forty-first birthday and six days before the couples' wedding anniversary and his own birthday.

'Real Housewives' reruns set to go into syndication on NBC-owned stations
Forget cable. The "Real Housewives" may be coming to a local station near you.
NBC Universal is going to syndicate reruns of the series about well-heeled housewives in Southern California, New York, Atlanta and New Jersey to stations around the country, starting in fall 2010.
The first deal is with NBC Universal-owned stations, including WNBC/Ch. 4 here in NY, according to Broadcasting & Cable magazine. The one-hour episodes, which made reality stars out of New York's Bethenny Frankel and others, will air five nights a week. An NBC Universal spokesman would neither confirm nor comment on the report to the Daily News.
By September 2010, Bravo will have produced over 100 episodes of "Housewives." This summer, the finale of the New Jersey version reached 4.6 million viewers.
The network has announced a Washington, D.C., version of the series, though a premiere date hasn't been set.
Out has a Q&A with Justin Timberlake in their new Lady Gaga issue where he discusses his new cologne for Givenchy, Play.
Here's a bit for the TL;DR crowd:
Of all the smells in the world, why put your face to Play?
I’m not a cologne freak. I don’t wear it all the time. I’m not wearing it right now. My issue with cologne is that it makes you smell unlike yourself. Sometimes to be funky, you gotta smell funky. I like Play because it doesn’t take away from how you smell. It just accents it to make you smell a little better.
So, if your top notes are fruity, they’ll stay fruity. Are your top notes fruity?
The top notes are more grapefruit.
And the bottom?
The undertones are bergamot. Like I said, I like citrus. I like a fresh, clean, out-of-the-shower smell.
I love that Justin answers the obviously tongue-in-cheeks about tops and bottoms (this is a gay magazine for Christ sake) totally seriously.

In his first national interview since being paroled, Dr. Jack Kevorkian defended Dr. Conrad Murray, who has been targeted in the manslaughter investigation into Michael Jackson's death.
Even though Jackson's death has been ruled a homicide, Kevorkian, 81, told Fox News' Neil Cavuto Wednesday that Murray did not commit murder by providing Jackson with lethal amounts of the anesthetic propofol. (Murray, who maintains his innocence, says on the morning of Jackson's June 25 death, he gave Jackson 25 milligrams of propofol diluted with lidocaine to keep him sedated -- after repeated demands from the singer.)
"I don't think he was malicious," Kevorkian said. "Murder is defined by forethought ...Did the doctor have forethought? I doubt it."
He added, "The patient got what he wanted. He is the one who said yes or no to take a drug."

Kristin Cavallari isn't the only one who was impressed with Heidi Montag's Miss Universe performance.
Miss USA Kristen Dalton tells Usmagazine.com she thought Montag's rendition of "Body Language" wasn't bad.
"I thought it was pretty good because she's known as being a reality TV star, so it's cool that she came out as a performer, as a dancer and singer," Dalton, 22, tells Us.
"I thought she did a great job as a performer," adds Dalton of Montag, 22.
Montag says she hopes her first performance helps her become become the next Britney Spears "career wise." (Pratt even donned a flesh-colored body suit that is similar to the one Spears wore for her 2000 MTV VMA performance.)
Spencer Pratt says his wife reminds him of another pop icon: Michael Jackson.
"The Holy Spirit now has Michael Jackson juice, so boom! For all we know, Heidi gets possessed with Michael Jackson's divine spirit," he says, calling her "way bigger" than Jackson, who died in June.
Ed Hardy-loving Jon Gosselin is committing "the biggest crime against fashion" for men: Not wearing the proper size.
So says Project Runway's Tim Gunn.
"In his case, everything is too big," he told Usmagazine.com at the Addressing Psoriasis Fashion Show in NYC Wednesday. "It is what I refer to as the slobification of America. If you want to dress to feel as though you never got out of bed, then don't get out of bed."
Gunn, 56, was more sympathetic when the topic turned to Jon's ex Kate. He told Us he's "accepting" of her famous asymmetrical hairdo.
Said Gunn, "If that's the way she wants to present herself, then she's doing a good job."
He said he wouldn't make her over because "I never make people into my dress up dolls. That would be all consuming, and it wouldn’t be appropriate."
Who does have perfect style?
"Angelina Jolie always gets it right," Gunn told Us. "And I have to say I am huge Helen Mirren fan. Whether she is having lunch in Los Angeles or she's on the red carpet or she's going shopping, she knows who she is. She knows how to present herself to the world and she knows how to look sophisticated and polished."
The first single from Robbie Williams' comeback album has had its first showcase and looks set to be an instant chart hit.
Bodies, the first single from upcoming album Reality Killed The Video Star, will receive its chart release next month and sees Robbie return to his pop roots.
Veteran music producer Trevor Horn (responsible for production on Pet Shop Boys and Simple Minds albums) has lent his expertise to the new sound which reportedly has more than a hint of Robbie’s northern roots, with a notable influence from Ian Brown.
The pop track features Robbie’s usual rhyming lyrics and a religious twist, showcasing Robbie’s more contemplative side, when the singer belts out: ‘Jesus really died to me. Jesus tried for me.’
The promotional pictures to accompany Bodies also show how Robbie’s taking his comeback seriously, working hard to get his body back in shape, shedding a couple of stone to return to his trimmer form.
And with Radio 1 already pushing the track, six weeks ahead of its release and Radio 2 planning to make it single and record of the week, it seems the bad boy of pop is back, back, back!

Even though her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown was convicted of viciously attacking her, Rihanna not only doesn’t think the restraining order — which keeps him at a safe distance for the next five years — is not needed, but she still hasn’t given up on the idea of taking him back.
“Though Rihanna does not object to the sentence, she did feel it was unnecessary to have the restraining order in place for five years,” Rihanna’s attorney, Donald Etra, tells OK!. Sources close to the star say she favors a less severe order that would only require Chris not to annoy or harass her.
“She really doesn’t see the necessity of keeping an entire football-field length between them,” one insider says. “She’s forgiven him. And he is remorseful.”

Wig-wearing, kinda singer Kim Zolciak was naturally tardy to her own party at Midtown gay bar Blake’s last night — but only 25 minutes. That’s fashionably late in party terms, eh?
The gay men went atwitter as she entered and placed in a corner where she was surrounded by a dense crowd flashing photos and yelling (mostly) nice things to her. Her entourage, including publicist Jonathan Jaxson, wore black shirts with the sequined words “Team Kim” on the front and “Tardy for the Party” on the back. She threw a bunch into the eager crowd.
Jaxson waved me into the inner circle. “You going to write something nice about me?” Kim asked, aware that I obviously haven’t. I rolled my eyes. “It’s all about the publicity, isn’t it?” I said.
Anyway, she was there to promote her song “Tardy for the Party.” I asked her how much work Kandi Burruss did on it. She said the song was originally created by her oldest daughter Brielle when she was nine. Kandi re-wrote the lyrics to make it more adult and gave the song its groove. “I’m not the greatest singer in the world but just wanted to do something fun,” she explained.
The bar played the song and she actually did sing along to parts of it, not that the song really involved much range. And she didn’t exactly pull any diva moves. Jonathan just stuck in the mike in front of her a few times and she sang a line here and there.

After 18 months of work, 30 Seconds to Mars are closing in on the release of an album that includes Tibetan monks, a screaming hawk, and the voices of fans' from eight countries along with Jared Leto's soaring vocals. Now that album has a title: 30 Seconds to Mars confirmed exclusively to Buzznet that the hugely anticipated project will be called This Is War.
Long the working title of the album, This Is War was not locked in until the band members agreed on it in their Los Angeles work space the other day.The title early on appeared closely tied to the battles the band found itself fighting, most prominently a lengthy legal fight with its record label, Virgin Records. But Leto has always said it encapsulated far more, including the spirit of the band's whole creative process.
"It's representative of the battles that we were fighting, us with the record label, creative battles, personal demons," he told Buzznet. "We've discussed, like, is it relevant anymore? Some of the battles - obviously the creative, and the battles with the record label, have all come to pass, but I think it really still represents this record in the best way possible, so we're sticking with This Is War.... It represents too clearly this period of time in our lives."

Three days ago, we ran a story called "New Thom Yorke 12" on the Way?" about a new single from the Radiohead frontman. Well, we can get rid of that question mark. According to Thom himself, the two-track slab of vinyl is officially coming out September 21 at the band's W.A.S.T.E. store with purchasable downloads available the first week of October.
Writing on Radiohead's Dead Air Space blog, he gives us some background on the release:
Dear Sir or Madam
This is to inform you of the release of two more bits of work shortly.
They are loosely under the Thom Yorke name this time, although these days its all getting kind of blurry.
FeelingPulledApartbyHorses is written & played by Jonny and I and is a radical rework of an old tune thats been kicking around without a home since 2001? i think.
The Hollow Earth is a bass menace that was born out of the Eraser period but needed a little more time.
Both were produced by Nigel Godrich as ever. And mastered by Bob Ludwig.
They are being put out on 12" with sliced sleeve by Stanley and Tchock.
My sources tell me this will be available from the 21st of September if you're interested.. On sale in the w.a.s.t.e part of our website (with a gratis download.)
Or you can go buy it in a good record shop if you are lucky enough to have one near you.
Then later on there will be like a normal download thing i think around the 6th of Oct through the usual channels.
And so it goes. all the best
Really limited - get it soon, if you're going to.

That was fast! They've only been dating since the end of June but Renée Zellweger and hunky Bradley Cooper are already moving in together!
"Renee and Bradley have both been traveling a lot lately promoting their movies, but when he finally gets to go home to L.A., she'll live with him at his place in Venice Beach," an insider tells Star.
"Bradley set up a bathroom in the house that Renée can call her own. It's stocked with her favorite candles, perfumes and makeup — even pajamas and an electric toothbrush."
The couple, who co-star in the upcoming Case 39, went public with their romance during dinner at Antonucci's in NYC on June 30. Renée also accompanied Bradley on a press trip to Barcelona for The Hangover, and shared a romantic getaway at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara on August 28. "They were all over each other," a source at the resort's Stonehouse restaurant tells Star.
But until they move in to Bradley's West Coast pad, Renée will be joining her man in Vancouver, where he landed on August 31 to start filming The A-Team. "She's putting everything on hold to solidify her relationship with him," says a source.

Lil’ Boosie: But guess what though? I went back because I hadn’t gotten my nut after I wiped off. That made me more ready.
TSS: So wait, you let her keep giving you head!?
Lil’ Boosie: After I wiped up and got it clean with that Irish Springs, I had to catch my nut so I let her go on and go back. I made her brush her teeth.

This "Road" leads nowhere. If you're going to adapt a book like Cormac McCarthy's 2006 bestseller, you're pretty much obliged to make a terrific film or it's not worth doing -- first because expectations are high, and second, because the picture needs to make it worth people's while to sit through something so grim. Except for the physical aspects of this bleak odyssey by a father and son through a post-apocalyptic landscape, this long-delayed production falls dispiritingly short on every front. Showing clear signs of being test-screened and futzed with to death, the Dimension release may receive a measure of respect in some quarters but is very, very far from the film it should have been, spelling moderate to tepid B.O. prospects after big fest preems.

The rumour may have started because someone thought Scarlett could sing. That is questionable
By Jack BremerFIRST POSTED SEPTEMBER 2, 2009A story put about earlier this week that Scarlett Johansson is to compete with Keira Knightley for the role of Eliza Doolittle in a remake of My Fair Lady is pure speculation, according to a spokesman for Sir Cameron Mackintosh, co-producer of the new film. No casting has yet been announced, he insisted.
This hasn't stopped the rumours, however - first that Knightley (above right) was a shoo-in for the role, and had even begun singing lessons in preparation, and then Sunday's follow-up report that Johansson would be fighting her for the part.
Johansson's name came up after Mackintosh, apparently seeking to throw reporters off the scent, told the Sunday Telegraph: "I have two actresses as potential Elizas, one British, the other American. You'd know their names, but I'm not letting on."
What appears to have happened is that a reporter plumped for Johansson (above left) having spotted that (a) she was once approached by Andrew Lloyd Webber about playing Maria in The Sound of Music and (b) the Lost in Translation actress brought out a debut album last year.
What the reporter failed to take into account was that (a) Lloyd Webber quickly changed his mind and (b) Johansson's album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, was mainly reviled by critics, one of whom wrote it off as "seriously weird". Even her producer described her voice as, "Tinkerbell on cough syrup".
As a result, a straw poll of movie types by The First Post made Johansson a rank outsider for the role of Eliza. Most industry observers believe Knightley will play the role, but if there really is a transatlantic contender then the hot money is on Ellen Page, Amy Adams or - an Eliza for the age of Obama? - the rising young black star, Zoe Saldana.
But that's all hypothetical. What is known for certain is that the new film of My Fair Lady will use the legendary songs of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe to tell the story of the Cockney flower girl's transformation into a lady, under the tutelage of Professor Henry Higgins.
It is also known that the English actress and screenwriter Emma Thompson is working on the screenplay and, according to an early statement by Mackintosh, is going back to the original George Bernard Shaw story of Pygmalion for inspiration.
Mackintosh and fellow producer Duncan Kenworthy have a hard act to follow in the 1963 classic, which starred Audrey Hepburn as Eliza and Rex Harrison as Higgins and won eight Oscars. But as Mackintosh has said, "The classic story of a flower girl transformed into an instant sensation couldn't be more timely in a contemporary world obsessed with overnight celebrity."
True Blood hunk Mehcad Brooks enjoys a night out at STK restaurant with a mystery male on Wednesday night (September 2).
The 28-year-old actor, who plays Benedict “Eggs” Talley on his hit vamp series, will be joining ABC’s legal drama The Deep End as a regular.
THR reports Mehcad will play a new character, Malcolm Bennet, an associate at the L.A. law firm.
DALLAS — We don't need to have our emotions influenced to know that Jasper Hale Whitlock is one of Stephenie Meyer's greatest creations. A 166-year-old Civil War veteran whose transformation and redemption is a key theme in the later "Twilight" novels, the character has long been a fan favorite. Which made it all the more appropriate when the franchise landed Jackson Rathbone, a 24-year-old actor/musician whose affable, easygoing charm has made him equally popular in Twilight Nation.
Recently, we caught up with Jackson as he was preparing to begin work on "Eclipse," the currently filming third chapter in the blockbuster saga. What follows are some major plot revelations from the next two films — including his fight scene with Kellan Lutz, exposing Japer's powers earlier than you might think and how to kill one of David Slade's newborn vampires.

Lady Gaga spoke to Newsweek's Ramin Setoodeh about the VMAs and her life as an artist so far. Excerpts:
Congratulations on your nine nominations. Have you always been a fan of the VMAs?
When I was younger, I used to wrap a big blanket around myself, an afghan my grandmother knitted, and I would wear it like a gown. I would run around the basement with popcorn and I would scream in excitement waiting for them to come on. I used to love the big pop acts. I remember Alicia Keys gave a beautiful performance and Michael Jackson with 'N Sync.
Have you figured out what you're going to perform?
I'm going to be performing one of the most recent singles off my album. But it's going to be a different and more dramatic interpretation. And it is most certainly rooted in New York-style performance art.
What does that mean?
It's less of me singing the song, and more of an art installation. A performance-art piece. It's very well-designed and thought out, and we've been planning it for months and months. It is for me a very meaningful performance, [for] where I am in my career, as well as the experiences I've had, as well as the co-headlining tour I'm going on in the fall.
Do you think it will be one of those defining moments people will remember at the VMAs? I know it will. I sort of have this philosophy about things: there's never a reason to do something unless it's going to be memorable, unless it's going to change things, unless it's going to inspire a movement. With the song and with the performance, I hope to say something very grave about fame and the price of it.

Lerman is the lead in February’s fantasy adventure Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (directed by Chris Columbus, who helmed the first two Harry Potter films), but he first gained notice five years ago as one of the titular brothers in the WB drama Jack & Bobby. Now, Lerman’s got two different films hitting theaters: My One and Only, where he plays a young George Hamilton opposite Renée Zellweger, and Gamer, an action movie from Crank masterminds Neveldine/Taylor.
Movieline talked to the 17-year-old up-and-comer about The Goonies, the idea of casting Uma Thurman as Percy Jackson’s hideous villain, and his plans for weathering potential Potter-like fame.

I absolutely love him and can't wait to start reading this book
We may be in the middle of a recession, but quite a few American Idols are nonetheless banking on a lucrative shopping season this Christmas. No less than seven Idol-associated albums are coming out this fall in time for the holidays, including the much-anticipated "Kradison" triple-threat--i.e., the new discs by Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, and Allison Iraheta. (And another top four contestant from season 8, Danny Gokey, just officially signed to 19/RCA Nashville this week, so don't count him out either--he will get a single out before 2009's end.).
At a time when many shoppers are strapped for cash, it's certainly a risk for so many Idol alums to release records in such a short space of time--surely Idol fans can't buy them ALL....
Or CAN they? All of the Idols putting out records this fall have diehard (and somewhat overlapping) followings, particularly Kradison, so it's possible that fans will indeed splurge on multiple AmIdol albums. Maybe this rush of fourth-quarter Idol releases will in fact give the music industry a much-needed boost in a difficult year.

Hollywood bombshell Megan Fox has revealed that she lost her virginity at the age of 17 to her first "real" love who was also an actor.
Fox didn't name him but the 22-year-old star had some good words to say about him, Cosmopolitan magazine reported.
"I've had plenty of awkward stuff, but that first time was not awkward. I was in love with him and it was nice," Fox told the magazine.
The 'Transformers' beauty also told that she categorically refers men in her life as boys so as to keep them in their place.
"I never call them guys, I always call them boys. Maybe it's a superiority complex - my needing to keep them down," Fox added.

The Final Destination introduces audiences to Shantel VanSanten and Haley Webb, but don’t get too attached to them. You know how a Final Destination is going to go. VanSanten tried to overcome her fears by learning how the film was made.
“What’s funny is I’m always given these horror movies and they come across my way and I don’t ever watch them,” VanSanten said. “I feel like sometimes maybe that’s why, because I really am freaked out by them. I tried to look at when they’d do the prosthetics or cuts and blood and dangling flesh from me. I tried to look at it as okay, this is their job so tell me how you do it. More like a technical way. Then I would think it was cool but I don’t do well with gory films at all.”
When it came time to shoot a sequence on a mall escalator, the world of the film overcame VanSanten. “For me, it’s not something you can really look forward to and it’s not something that I found myself trying to figure out how to prepare. It’s a circumstance that not a lot of people, you think about but not a lot of people ever go through in their lifetime hopefully. So I’m sitting there asking myself like how would I react? What would I do? What would I be thinking? As much as I could preplan or think about it, we got into the scene one day and he goes to hold onto my hand, I put my head down and just lost it. We were actually shooting in a mall that was abandoned in New Orleans and we’re three stories up. Even though I’m in a harness, there’s so much that the movie teaches you that can go wrong that you’re just like oh my God. You think about your own mortality and your own life, and you’re like, ‘What if my dad never sees me get married? What if I die right now?’ You’re faced with that so much, it felt like you sometimes didn’t need to prepare because that pure adrenaline and the actual circumstances you were in when you were shooting were enough. It was pretty brutal. Even when I watched it, there was so much emotion for me in that scene.”
Webb embraced her dangerous scenes. Her character finds herself stuck in a car during a car wash malfunction that floods her vehicle. “Well, that was three days of shooting and I was underwater for about 12 or 14 hours a day,” Webb said. “At one point, I filmed for about 12 hours that day in the car while it was filling up. Then we had to get another shot when I was dry. So I had to go change my clothes, get my hair back straight. Naturally it’s kind of curly, and then go back in the water at like 11 o’clock at night or something. But it was really intense. There’s a part where I’m hitting the window and I actually in real life broke the actual window of the car. So I was badass on set for like two days, got a couple claps from the crew, I’m not going to lie. They were just like, ‘Nice work.’ It was fun. It was really scary, really intense but that’s what I loved about it.”
Since it’s The Final Destination, that’s not all. She’s also got her head stuck in the sunroof. “I could feel it. It was not quite tight but I’m kind of a masochist and I wanted it to be as real as possible, so I was like, ‘No, you know.’ They were like, ‘Haley, we don’t…’ I was like, ‘You f*ckin’ do it. Just make it a little bit tighter.’ So it was pretty tight but I could definitely move my head and get out of it. It is crazy though, the amount of energy you exert just struggling in water, I did not expect that. At a certain point, the water’s up to my chest and I was exerting so much energy that my body, I was like oh, physically I can’t do this anymore.”
this made me love shantel loads more because i hate horror movies too.

Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier has Michael Jackson’s purchased famed Neverland Ranch, ATP is reporting.
The French fashion guru is turning the $90 million Holmby Hills, California estate into his company’s headquarters, but he has other plans for Neverland into a haven for fans of the King of Pop.
“I can have the house in one month now,” Audigier revealed Thursday. “I get the keys two weeks from today.”
Neverland — which MJ abandoned after his 2005 child molestation trial — currently belongs to Audigier’s associate Hubert Guez.
In an interview with Agence France-Presse Thursday, Audigier said: “I bought the Michael Jackson house. It’s something I’m gonna open just for the birthday (sic) of his death every June, where the media is gonna be able to come in and we’ll do exposes, etc.”
Audigier had been developing a clothing line with Michael Jackson prior to his anesthesia-induced death last June. In Paris for the French launch of his Los Angeles-based celebrity clothing brands on the day of Jackson’s funeral, the self-made mogul expressed regret over missing his pal’s burial.
“I miss him,” he said. “God bless him.”
Ed Hardy headquarters, are you kidding me? He's going to turn it into douchebag manor.
The hit FX comedy It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia wasn't the most likely TV show to be transformed into a musical. You don't expect wisecracking cast members/co-creators Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, and Charlie Day -- whose lives revolve around a Philly dive bar -- to pen a catchy tune, or break out into song.
But last season's final episode, which aired in November, found Day's character, also named Charlie, enlisting the gang to perform a musical he wrote entitledThe Nightman Cometh -- failing to mention his hidden agenda, that the play was simply a vehicle for him to propose marriage to a waitress he's pined for since the series began.
The musical episode was such a success that it's been transformed into an actual stage production, which the cast -- also featuring Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito -- will perform in seven cities, beginning Sept. 15 in Boston.
We caught up with Day to find out more about the musical, what fans can expect from the TV show's upcoming season, and his other projects.

Since Gossip Cop has become the destination for accurate “Twilight” stories, a production source came directly to us with details of the stars’ drama.
There’s a reason you haven’t seen much of Robert Pattinson, other than on the set: “Twilight” filmmakers are trying to protect the handsome young star from the prying lenses of the paparazzi. “Every time anyone from the cast emerges from the hotel they’re swarmed by paparazzi,” says the inside source.
And Pattinson is the prime target.
“He’s a prisoner of the paparazzi,” the source tells Gossip Cop. “It’s a nightmare,” adds the source, explaining that Pattinson almost never leaves the hotel except to go to the set. And when he does, the crew has to go great lengths to find ways to transport him from one location to another undetected. Because of the paparazzi, the star has been unable to interact with his many fans.
Gossip Cop hopes the paparazzi will back off so Pattinson and the rest of the cast can concentrate on the film — and their adoring fans.
LADY Gaga has ignored parameters set by her minders and told some Brisbane radio jocks she's not offended by hermaphrodite rumours - but her "little vagina" is.
Getting the young American – who's been subject to the bizarre rumours since live footage depicting a bump in her crotch emerged a few weeks ago – to even broach the topic was a gonzo radio coup for Nova's breakfast team of Meshel, Ash and Tim. They were warned before the interview that "the topic must stick to fashion, her tour, her fans and her music". Yo, publicity flunkies: Be aware these commandments will be aired and make your client look stupid.
"I'm just a girl from New York who wanted to be a star. Anything you want to ask me is cool," she told them. So an excited Meshel put it on her: "Obviously we have to talk about the tiny penis rumours. Where are we at right now with the tiny penis issue, Lady Gaga?"
"My little vagina is very offended," Gaga said. "I'm not offended, my vagina is offended."
Naturally, Ash went on to say that a one-on-one with her vagina "would be a fascinating interview". They're probably already jostling over who gets to hold the microphone.
Lady Gaga, who's back here next March, also gave a glimpse into her psyche in explaining why her threshold for embarrassment was so high.
"I sold four million records in six months. I'm not embarrassed about anything," she said from California amid work on her "Winter re-release".
Yep, that'd do it.

Yes, Jon Gosselin's clichéd blondes-and-bikes midlife crisis is lame, and, yes, Kate Gosselin's control-freak streak is grating, and, yes, the estranged couple's increasingly uncomfortable reality series makes us wish their eight kids could get a divorce—from the camera.

Here she is! Hilary Duff joins the cast of Gossip Girl as movie star Olivia Burke for the Oct. 5 episode titled "Dan de Fleurette," and we have the exclusive first look at Duff in character on the set!
Duff's character is assigned to be Vanessa's (Jessica Szohr) roommate at NYU?their dorm room is the setting of the still above?and through Vanessa, Olivia gets to know Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley). Olivia becomes attracted to Dan, and vica versa. Of course, there's a twist: Dan is so tuned out to pop culture that he doesn't realize the girl he's falling for is a huge movie star famous for her role in a Twilight-esque series of vampire movies.
Still, the two college kids manage to make their odd-couple pairing work, and cuteness ensues. Yay!
What do you think? Does Duff look like a good addition to the Gossip Girl cast? Do you think she'll be a good match for Dan?
She looks so hot, she's going to fit in great.

Chris Brown thinks Oprah Winfrey should have reached out to him as well as Rihanna in the wake of his assault on his ex-girlfriend, calling the slight a "slap in the face." The talk-show queen, however, just wants the singer to get help.
Winfrey dedicated a March episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show to "all the Rihannas of the world," which focused on domestic violence. Brown told People he was not happy with what he saw.
"I commend Oprah on being like, 'This is a problem,' but it was a slap in my face," Brown said. "I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school. She could have been more helpful, like, 'OK, I'm going to help both of these people out.'"
In a statement to TMZ, Winfrey's rep responded to Brown's sentiments about the episode, saying, "Oprah is very appreciative that Chris Brown performed at her school but she takes domestic abuse very seriously. She hopes he gets the counseling he needs."
Brown, 20, has been ordered to complete a year-long domestic violence program. He was also sentenced to five years probation and six months of community labor, and cannot contact or come within 100 yards of Rihanna for the next five years.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- "American Idol" Season 1 finalist Jim Verraros is walking down the aisle with boyfriend Bill Brennan this Sunday in Oak Brook, Illinois.
The couple, who have been dating for four years after meeting on MySpace, announced their nuptials on their wedding Web site.
Though same-sex marriage is not legal in Illinois, the former "Idol" contestant is hopeful laws will change in the future. "I knew with Bill that I wanted to 'marry,' him. I put 'marry,' only because, sadly it isn't legal in Illinois yet, but we're hopeful that the time is near," Jim wrote on his Web site. "This wedding is a culmination of our lives so far, and our lives from this point onward. It is so imperative to the both of us that our friends and family see just how in love we are, and how happy we are to share it with everyone."
In addition to "Idol," Jim also appeared in 2004's "Eating Out" and its sequel in 2006. Jim is also still singing. He released "Rollercoaster" in 2005 and two new singles in 2009, "Touch (Don't U Want 2)" and "Electric Love" from his forthcoming album, "Do Not Disturb."

Being blond, busty and beautiful apparently isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Former Playboy model Holly Madison says that beneath her Barbie-doll measurements beats the heart of an insecure woman who used plastic surgery as a way to build her self-esteem.
And she blames ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner for that lack of confidence.
"Living with Hef brought down my self-esteem a lot," Madison told Life & Style. "I was comparing myself to the other girls ... You have to look a certain way at the mansion."
Madison, 29, one of a trio of Playboy models whose daily misadventures were the basis of the E! reality show "The Girls Next Door," also told the magazine her bosom isn't the only body part she had enhanced.
"Plastic surgery made it easier for me to get things I wanted in my career," she said. "Without it, I wouldn't be where I am today. My nose photographed really big in front of my face. If I wanted to do anything in the entertainment industry, I needed to get it fixed."
The sex symbol, however, does draw the line when it comes to certain artificial beauty aids.
"I'm scared of getting stuff (like Botox) put into my face," Madison claims. "It makes you look like you have a rubber mask on. Beauty is truly on the inside. Looks don't define you - they're just a tool to get what you want."
According to MSNBC 2010 may well be the year of the werewolf as much as 2009 from Twilight-True Blood was the year of the vampire. Everything from New Moon’s shape shifters to a remake of The Wolfman is slated.
“Vampires, move over: Werewolves are about to claw their way to the top.
Besides the sudden sprouting of hair expected on Jacob (Taylor Lautner) come Nov. 20’s release of the “Twilight” sequel “New Moon,” MTV is getting ready to howl with a TV version of the 1985 Michael J. Rihanna saved $3 million on her new mansion.
The 'Rehab’ singer reportedly negotiated the enormous discount on the luxurious eight-bedroom home in Beverly Hills after convincing real estate agents to drop their price.
The hillside house features 10,000 sq ft of floor space, 10 bathrooms, a recording studio, pool, gym, spa, library and a home cinema and was initially listed at $9.95 million.
However, as house prices have dropped in recent months due to the current global economic downturn, the 21-year-old beauty was able to grab a bargain and she finally bought the property for $6.9 million – a saving of 30 per cent.
But the discounted purchase has left local residents – including Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Milla Jovovich and Tom Cruise – worried the value of their properties could drastically drop.

Wale Samples Rihanna's Goods
is quickly becoming hip-hop’s most in-demand feature. After her recent appearances on Jay-Z’s “Run This Town” and in Kanye West’s video for “Paranoid,” the singer is now getting her first rap sample.
Wale samples Rihanna’s “Question Existing” on “Contemplate,” one of the tracks off his debut album Attention: Deficit. The song was produced by Syience, the man behind Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s “Hollywood” and John Legend’s “Take Me Away.”
The deep and dark record finds the D.C. native contemplating his place in hip-hop. He asks himself, “Am I doing this for them or me?” while name-checking everyone from Courtney Love to River Phoenix.
“Who am I living for?/ Is this my limit?/ Can I endure some more?” Rihanna sings on the hook, which originally appeared on her 2007 album Good Girl Gone Bad. She may re-record her vocals before Wale’s album drops this fall.

Film to premiere via mobile phone
'Rage' will run as episodes beginning Sept. 21
Sally Potter's new film "Rage" will premiere on mobile phones when Babelgum offers one episode from the film per day for seven days via its free mobile application for iPhone and iPod devices, beginning on Sept. 21.
The episodic mobile release will be available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany and Spain.
"Rage" tells the behind-the-scenes story of a New York fashion show through a series of interviews, as if shot by a schoolboy on his mobile phone over a seven-day period. The film, which features Simon Abkarian, Steve Buscemi, Lily Cole, Judi Dench, Eddie Izzard, Jude Law, John Leguizamo and Dianne Wiest, premiered at the 2009 Berlin Film Festival. Written and directed by Potter, it was produced by Christopher Sheppard and Andrew Fierberg.
In a statement, Potter, Sheppard and Fierberg said, "We always wanted to incorporate new-media platforms into our release strategy and to find a novel approach to bringing 'Rage' to both new and traditional film audiences. We are delighted to be working with Babelgum, who we see as a true partner in crafting an innovative distribution model."
The mobile premiere will kick off a multiplatform, multiterritory release that includes the U.S. DVD release on Sept. 22 through Liberation Entertainment; an interactive satellite premiere in the U.K. on Sept. 24; the online release via Babelgum beginning Sept. 28; and the Adventure Pictures DVD release in the U.K. and Ireland on Sept. 28.
The red carpet event and Q&A following the Sept. 24 premiere at London's BFI/Southbank will be broadcast online commercial-free on Justin.tv.
This upsets me. I remember in the Madonna/Gypsy posts a few people had commented on enjoying Sally Potter's "The Man Who Cried" (which to me is her weakest film). 'Orlando', 'The Tango Lesson', and 'Yes' are all amazing. Rage seems to be the movie that she was making in Tango Lesson.
TV critics got their DOLLHOUSE 2.1 screeners today (wrapped in a lovely burgundy t-shirt and a note from Joss Whedon).
Titled “Vows,” the episode is superb: funny, suspenseful, sexy and willing to kick around more than a few Very Big Ideas. Combined with the series’ terrific “lost” episode (“Epitaph One”), “Vows” roughly triples my investment in this series’ fate. Which is to say, its eventual cancellation will be three times harder to bear now than the day before I saw “Epitaph One.”

Lindsay Lohan has confessed to stashing sexy, near nude photos of herself in several compromising positions (Hint, Nudge, Wink) with on-again/off-again girlfriend Samantha Ronson, National Enquirercolumnist Mike Walker claims.
According to The Enquirer’s veteran snitch, LiLo recently blabbed to pals that she was petrified after returning from a weekend trip to New York City to find her home Hollywood Hills home ransacked because she feared the still unidentified burglars had discovered her NC-rated treasure chest.
“Lindsay admitted there were girly poses of her and Sam, scantily clad,” a Blohan blabbermouth gushed. “Other photos showed her in compromising poses were pornographic, but she kept repeating how she’d been absolutely frantic…”
The spy added, “She seemed super-worried — acting like some of the shots might be way over the line.”
